This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris decided he didn't want to go anywhere near the idea of throwing three coins, before going on to add that he'd already found 'true love' and was therefore left with only one choice. Giving a bit of a grin, Vianna handed the young man the coin she had been holding before pulling out a new one for herself. "On the count of three, Professor?" she asked, a bright smile adorning her lightly tanned face.

Ferris gave a bit of a lopsided grin as Vianna handed him one coin, asking if they were going off the count of three. "Sounds good," he decided with a nod, waiting for her to grab her own before flashing her one more smile and turning to the fountain. "One..." he started, glancing at her quickly before continuing the count, "Two..." he murmured to her ear, planting a sneaky kiss to her cheek just because he could before uttering the last number. "Three!" And with that he gently tossed his own coin into the fountain, watching as it floated on the surface for just a moment before falling down into the depths of its crystalline waters, right next to Vianna's. He beamed at the sight of this, brown eyes obviously entertained and distracted by all of the legends that surrounded the fountain.

Vianna beamed as Ferris agreed to her plan, her smile widening slightly as he awarded her a kiss in the middle of the countdown. Once the young man reached the number three, Vianna tossed her own golden coin into the fountain's crystal waters, watching with fascinated crystal blue eyes as it hit the water with a tiny splash of its own before very slowly sinking through the water until it reached the bottom, where thousands upon thousands of other coins had already been dropped, each with the task of performing their owner's wish. Grinning, Vianna clapped her hands excitedly for a moment before turning to the young man behind her. "When do you think our wish will come true and we'll be back in Rome, Professor?"

Ferris turned his dark brown eyes back to the girl at his side as she clapped her hands excitedly, his expression lighting up immediately as he admired the sight of her at his side. Slightly dazed, he listened as she asked when he thought their wishes would come true and they'd return to Rome, something that got his eyebrows to raise just slightly. "I'm not sure," he replied softly, brown eyes sparkling just slightly as he took in the sight of her so near to himself. "Maybe sometime soon...when we can have a longer visit," he murmured to her as he pulled her back into his grasp, enveloping her a bit more into his warm chest as he took in the sweet smell that always accompanied his Vianna. "And I don't have to spend my day with the Vincenzi brothers..." he continued teasingly, his voice a low rumble in the back of his throat as he planted a couple playful kisses to her ear.

Vianna couldn't help but giggle lightly as Ferris shared that the next time they came to Rome would be when they have a chance to stay longer and he didn't have to spend his day with her brothers. "I'm sorry," said the girl softly, unable to also help feeling a little guilty about abandoning the young man to be left alone with her brothers who, she knew, weren't exactly his preferred company. "What did you guys end up doing after Julia, Airi, and I left?" Vianna asked the young man.

"It's alright, gem," the young man grumbled to her ear with a warm smile as Vianna spoke, apologizing for having to leave him with her two brothers whom they both knew weren't his most requested of company. But he turned silent as she then asked what they had done when the girls left, a question that left Ferris searching for something to say as he remembered he had something to give her later that night. "Uh..." he mumbled, obviously not the smoothest liar. Finally deciding to just go with the truth, but not all of it, he spoke with a weak smile, "We went to get some coffee...and looked into the shops a bit," he explained with a shrug as he turned his gaze back to the fountain before him. "Did you...Are you hungry at all?" he asked with a small smile, suddenly realizing that neither of them had eaten anything since lunch. "We could...just grab something real quick and eat it wandering around?"

Vianna listened as Ferris explained to her he and her brothers had just gone out to get some coffee and look into the shops, a smile adorning her face. She was glad to see that her brothers hadn't taken Ferris somewhere secret to beat him up and ship him off to India or something. As the young man then asked if she was hungry, suggesting the idea of getting something to eat and eat it while wandering around, Vianna grinned and nodded her head. "That sounds great, Professor!" she agreed brightly. "But... first I want to go get a sweater from the suite," said Vianna with a chuckle. She couldn't summon her clothes, since they were surrounded by muggles and seeing a sweater just flying in mid-air would obviously cause a scene.

ooc: I have to leave the RP now, Ruthie.... I'm going to be on SS, but I have to go get some Pressie stuff done.

Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna didn't question his pause before he'd responded, listening as she then agreed to his idea of getting some food and wandering around before informing him that she wanted to get a sweater from the suite. "Alright gem," he murmured softly, tightening his grip around her waist gently as he picked her up off the ledge and set her down on the cobblestones with a bit of a lopsided smile on his pale expression, loving how nicely she fit into his arms. "Right this way, my dear," he murmured playfully, taking her hand and gently leading her off out of the crowd, intwining their fingers and gently bringing up their hands to plant a sweet kiss to the back of her own.

Vianna giggled lightly with amusement as Ferris easily picked her up and set her back on the ground, like she was just a child; and this did, actually, make her feel very childlike. Her small hand wrapped around his larger one as they began to make their way through the crowd, some of the tourists still murmuring to themselves about the boy who'd been running in the fountain waters earlier, even sharing with others the pictures and videos they were able to get of the scene through their cameras.

Vianna led the way out of the piazza that held the very famous and well-known fountain, and back out into the Roman streets which still held a very lively atmosphere just like the one at the fountain, though they weren't nearly as crowded. Everyone was up and about, many tourists strolling through the streets and admiring their surroundings, all little shops lit brightly and helping keep the streets bright and light during the darkness of night. It was really a nice sight and the lively atmosphere was very welcoming, it made you want to stay out and continue exploring, making the idea of staying in seem even unpleasant. But Rome still had so much more to offer - like the Colosseum, the ruins of Ancient Rome, the Opera House, etc., and the air was filled with the buzz of excited tourists either heading to or from one of these destinations, eager to set on their next adventure.

OOC: Posts might be a bit slow... But I'm assuming you're probably a bit busy with your President duties anyway, so I hope that's not a problem.

Ferris fell silent as they started back towards the hotel, his hand starting to warm up with her smaller one wrapped up so nicely in his own. He allowed his dark brown eyes to take in all of his surroundings as they travelled back towards the nice hotel they were staying in, admiring all of the glowing shops and street lights that lit up the night. "It's nice here," he murmured softly as they rounded a corner, glancing down at the girl at his side with a small smile on his pale expression. Anticipating this to be a quick glance, the young man was a bit surprised to find that his gaze got stuck to her lightly tanned features, a bit of a goofy grin on his expression as he admired the sight of her shamelessly for a long moment. That was, until he ran straight into a lightpost.

"Oof!" he let out involuntarily, jumping back with wide brown eyes and bringing up a hand to gently rub his forehead where the metal had struck him, brows furrowing. "How do I always do that?" he grumbled to himself with a shake of his head, turning to look at Vianna with a sheepish smile.

"Yeah… it really is," muttered Vianna softly as Ferris spoke, commenting that it was nice where they were. Vianna, too, was admiring her surroundings, the historical buildings and the little shops and the overall architecture of the city, completely unaware of the young man at her side gazing at her incessantly. She didn't really seem to notice anything until she was brought to an abrupt halt and Ferris let out an 'oof!' Startled, Vianna turned to the young man at her side only to find he had crashed straight into one of the lightposts, her blue eyes widening for a moment before her lips began to curve, threatening to allow out the giggles that were dying to be released as her features filled with amusement. But, before she could laugh, she had to make sure the young man was okay. That was always the way it worked, ever since she first witnessed him crashing into a tree so many years ago when they were in camp; she'd worry first and then, when it was over, tease him about the incident without mercy. "Are you alright, Professor?" Vianna asked, unable to wipe the amused smile from her face.

"W-What? Yeah, no, I'm..totally fine," the young man replied with a weak chuckle as Vianna asked if he was alright, still rubbing his forehead with a sheepish smile on his pale expression. How did he always do that?! Always! It's like he couldn't just walk without finding something to run into! And now it was all embarrassing and Vianna would know he was just staring at her to the point where he couldn't see where he was walking, and people on the streets were just sort of giggling. Ferris felt his cheeks going a light shade of pink as he thought about all of this, unconcerned with the slightly sore spot on his forehead and chest. And it was pretty funny how he could still worry over Vianna realizing that he was staring, very much like the seventeen-year-old boy in love as he once was. Not that he thought she'd embarrass him or anything if she did put two and two together, but rather that...it was just instinctual for him to be sheepish whenever she caught him being a little dazed and awestruck.

Vianna giggled lightly, really unable to help herself this time, as Ferris quickly assured her that he was alright. "Awww, my poor Professor..." she said with an amused but sympathetic smile, leaning on her toes then to peck his lips lovingly. She couldn't help but find his clumsiness to be one of his most adorable qualities. "We'll get you some ice when we get to the suite," she assured him, since they couldn't really just pull out their wands and perform magic right then and there.

Ferris listened as Vianna spoke, giving out a sweet 'Awww, my poor Professor' before leaning up on her toes and kissing his lips lovingly in that way he couldn't help but return enthusiastically for the moment it lasted. Giving out a bit of a lopsided grin that lit up his entire expression, he watched with dazed brown eyes as she pulled away and decided they'd get him some ice when they got back to the suite. "Alright," he murmured softly, taking in the sight of her shamelessly for a long moment as his arm slipped around her waist, leaning forward to kiss her temple sweetly. "Aren't you cold, gem?" the young man asked softly as he realized that her skin was just slightly cold to his touch, quickly taking in the fact that she was merely in a dress instead of something more substantial. It was then that he finally put two and two together and realized that she was getting a sweater from the suite. She was cold! Oh, what an idiot... "Oh gem, I'm sorry!" Ferris immediately said, taking a step back as they stopped walking and giving a sheepish chuckle. "Here, put this on," he grumbled as he slipped out of his jacket and handed it over to her. Honestly, sometimes he just felt far too dense to take in clues and realize that he could be helpful in anyway.

Vianna turned to Ferris with raised eyebrows as they walked and the young man asked if she was cold. It seemed like a rather silly question, seeing as the whole point of going over to the suite before getting food was precisely because she wanted a sweater, but the boy had just hit his head, so she wasn't going to give him a hard time about it. "A bit, yeah," she confessed with a small smile. Truth be told, she was close to freezing, as her dress wasn't really giving her skin much to use as a shield from the cold, but she didn't want to rush her husband or have him worry or anything of the sort, as she knew he would be likely to do.

It was then that Ferris seemed to remember why they were heading back to the suite in the first place, and Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly with amusement. "It's alright, Professor," she said softly as he apologized, coming to a halt as he suddenly stopped walking. She watched as he then proceeded to remove his jacket before handing it to her, and the girl gave a bit of an amused grin at this. "Grazie," she said before pulling on the jacket, unable to help but remember the first time the boy had ever lent her a jacket. It had been so long ago... it was only their first or second night after meeting for the first time. She'd been cold and he had been kind enough to lend her his jacket; and it had probably been somewhere around that time that the girl first began to realize she really liked this adorably clumsy bookworm. "We're still getting me a sweater, though," said Vianna after a moment's silence in which she had lost herself in memories. "I don't want my Professor getting cold."

Ferris too was reminded vaguely of the first time he'd ever forked over his jacket for the girl he loved most, a warm smile filling his expression as he watched her slip it over her slender frame. He couldn't believe how long ago that had been, that it'd just been a couple days after meeting his favourite person that she'd found a book in the pocket of the over-sized jacket he'd lent her for the night. He was snapped out of most of his thoughts as she then informed him that they were still going to get her a sweater, as she didn't want her Professor getting cold. "Oh, I wouldn't worry about your Professor," he murmured in her ear gently, his arm slipping around her slender waist as he kept her close, walking at her side with a warm smile. "Your Professor's perfectly warm right next to his gem..."

It took them a good ten minutes to arrive at the hotel but it seemed shorter, sharing soft conversation as they made their way through the streets of Rome at a leisurely pace. He'd forgotten how nice it was to just talk with his wife, to just have a simple conversation with her without a baby crying in the background. It'd been hard to just enjoy her presence and talk when they had a newborn around, hogging up every ounce of time when they weren't at work. It was relaxing to just walk and talk with her about whatever came to mind; and in this case, it was Gabe.

But afterall, he'd gotten the chance to see what their little baby was up to and he hadn't been able to tell her just yet. He was just entering the hotel's lobby doors, halfway through his explanation of Gabe's napping next to his little cousin peacefully. "It was so adorable, he was all cuddled up next to Vittorio," Ferris explained with the warmest of smiles, holding the door open for her before they started towards the elevators and up to their floor. "And then, of course, Jackie had to go and ruin it. But really, it was so cute..."

Vianna was a little comforted by Ferris's reassurance that he would be fine without his jacket, comfortably warm for the rest of the walk to the hotel, definitely feeling a lot better than when she was walking around in just her summer dress. She felt a bit silly, she shouldn't have forgotten this part of Italy was not like Sicily, and the nights were chillier here than they were in her hometown. But she was distracted from all this as the young man at her side spoke, sharing with her how he and her brothers had gotten in touch with their mothers earlier that day, and even got to see their kids. At the mention of little Gabe, Vianna's lightly tanned face immediately lit up, always happy to hear news about her little boy who'd she'd missed more than she thought possible during this past day. And it was comforting to know that he had been doing well and was getting along well with his cousins, protected from little Jackie's evil tactics.

As the pair reached their floor, Vianna pulled out the key to the suite and opened the smoothly polished doors, leading the way inside. The lights had been left on, and the view the far wall opposite to the entrance, the one that was almost entirely glass, offered a breathtaking view to the beautiful city lights outside; you could even see some of the popular tourist spots from all the way up here.

"I really can't wait to hold him again," said Vianna, referring to Gabe. "I've missed him so much!" she added as she made her way into the kitchen in search of some ice for Ferris's forehead that was slowly beginning to change colours due to the hit it had received only a few moments ago.

Ferris gave a soft sigh as Vianna spoke, mentioning that she couldn't wait to hold Gabe again, that she'd missed him a lot. "Trust me, I know just what you're talking about," he admitted with a weak smile as he stared out over the city from his spot in the living room, admiring all of the lights as Vianna started into the kitchen. He couldn't believe that they'd gotten a hotel room like this, finding it to be a bit unnecessary. But then again, this was one of the Vincenzi brothers who had made the reservation. After a moment of thinking about the room and the view, he turned on his heel, following after his wife and leaning up against the doorframe for a moment. He gave a soft smile as he watched her beginning to gather up ice in a hand towel, crossing his arms over his chest as he observed her for a long moment. And then, without warning, his lanky arms were suddenly slipping gently around her waist from behind, pulling her into his broad chest with the warmest of smiles. "Gabe is in perfectly good hands and now you're just stuck with your horrible Professor all alone," he teased into her ear gently, forcing her to pause in her task as he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "...on your anniversary, too! Whatever will you do?"

Vianna was just beginning to wrap the hand towel around a small bag of ice when she suddenly felt Ferris arrive into the room, his arms finding their way around her waist. The girl smiled faintly at this, though she wasn't distracted from the task at hand until he began to speak, successfully beginning to distract the girl slightly, her smile widening as his lips met her cheek. "Oh no, not my Professor! How unfortunate of me to have to spend the day with him on our anniversary!" said Vianna with mock horror on her features as she turned around in his arms, bag of ice and towel covering it in her hands. "How will I ever get out of this situation?" asked the girl playfully, a smile adorning her lightly tanned face as she pecked the young man's lips gently before bringing the bag of ice and hand towel up to his forehead. "Maybe if I make him hold this, he'll be distracted and I can make a run for it!" she suggested teasingly, releasing the ice once the young man's hand was holding it in place on his red forehead.

Ferris gave a soft chuckle as Vianna spoke with mock horror in her tones, mentioning how unfortunate it was for her to have to spend her anniversary with her Professor, suggesting that perhaps she could make a run for it once she got him to hold up his own ice bag. Taking the bag into one of his own hands, the young man beamed at the girl still wrapped up in one of his arms, admiring the sight of her as she turned to face him with those blue eyes he couldn't get enough of. "You would just leave me here?" he asked Vianna with mock sadness in his pale expression, an amused smile growing on his pale face as his brown eyes sparkled at her. "You'd just leave your poor Professor here all alone, injured?" he continued with slightly raised eyebrows, wincing just slightly as he readjusted the ice on his forehead and his skin reacted to the cold. "You're going to leave me when this is clearly a sign that my agility is very, very low?" he asked her playfully.

Vianna smiled with amusement, letting out a giggle every now and then as Ferris spoke with mock sadness, asking if she would really leave him there all alone and injured. "Awww..." she muttered softly, her blue eyes turning more sympathetic as he winced slightly. As the young man then asked if she was going to leave him when his agility was clearly very, very low, Vianna's eyebrows rose. This... this about the agility; it was something she hadn't heard in almost literally years. It was something that dated back to their first few months together, to the days when keeping their lips off each others' was a challenge. "Your agility is low?" Vianna asked, her expression now turning a little more playful. "And what could I ever do about that, Professor?" she asked, her smile widening to reflect all the amusement she felt.

Ferris also felt a sort of nostalgic emotion rise from within him as he thought back to the last time he'd used the excuse of his agility needing refilling, beaming at the girl before him with the warmest of smiles. He gave a mock-somber nod as Vianna asked for confirmation that his agility was low, asking what she could ever do about a situation such as that. "I dunno," he murmured playfully, pulling her a bit closer as his brown eyes sparkled into her blue ones, feeling his heart sort of speeding up like it hadn't in what felt like a long time. "Maybe there's just...something you could do..." he suggested softly.

Vianna found herself a little distracted by the young man's sparkling brown eyes, almost brought back to her teenage years, to the days when just sharing a glance with him could get her to blush or grow flustered; and she listened as he suggested that perhaps there was something she could do. Vianna rose her eyebrows at him again then, playfulness on her features. "Oh yeah?" she asked, an amused smile curving her lips. "But what could that be, Professor?" she asked, now getting up to her toes before pecking his lips gently, lovingly. "I can't think of anything else that would help with your problem," she added softly before pecking his lips gently once more, this time letting the gesture last a couple moments longer than necessary.

"Yeah," Ferris grumbled playfully, the warmest of amused smiles on his expression as she asked what she could do to help, leaning up on her toes just to provide him with a rather mind melting peck of a kiss. He returned the gesture enthusiastically for the moment it lasted, biting his lip just slightly as it came to an end, obviously not quite prepared to release her lips just yet. He watched with longing brown eyes as she then mentioned that she couldn't think of anything else that would help with his problem, pecking his lips once more and letting her own rosy lips rest there for a tauntingly long moment, breaking apart just as he wanted more of her. "Gem..." he grumbled as he pulled her even closer, gently resting her back against the counter and leaning forward to plant a loving kiss to the very corner of her lips. "You're just teasing me now..."

Vianna still had a hint of amusement on her features as she pulled back from the kiss she had just awarded her husband, a couple giggles escaping her lips as he almost gave an accusatory 'Gem'. Her amusement only seemed to grow as he then accused her of teasing him, just after placing a kiss to the very corner of her lips. Vianna's eyebrows rose then, mock surprise and offense in her blue eyes. "I beg to differ!" she quickly contradicted. "What was that kiss? If there's a definition to teasing, that was definitely it," she accused of him, though there was still amusement hidden behind her mock offended expression.
