| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor "I'll leave that responsibility up to Victor," Ferris muttered with a soft, sleepy chuckle as Vince requested that someone awake him when it was time to go meet the girls. But he didn't leave them any room to respond, quickly moving to the last room in the little hallway, swinging open the door only to find the most beautiful suite he'd ever seen. It was gorgeous, sparkling, with the nicest of furnishings and the largest of fluffy beds he'd ever seen in a hotel room. He didn't have much time to admire this though as he quickly closed the door and slipped off shoes, falling onto the bed in the next second with a long sigh of relief, obviously happy to be on a bed once more.
After climbing into the bed and letting out a long sigh, fully comfortable, the young man quickly realized how empty the bed seemed without Vianna there to cuddle up at his side (as cheesy as that sounded). His mind drifted off to his wife as he grew more and more sleepy, his eyes half open as he decided to send a little note off to her. This form of communication had never failed them before within the last seven years, and for some reason the paper bird never once failed to arrive at Vianna, wherever she was. So, for the sake of trying, the young man sketched a playful sad face on a piece of spare parchment before scribbling, 'I miss you, gem. I'm in the suite, about to take a nap. I miss you. A lot. Hang in there for a little longer and I'll see you soon. -Ferris He sent it off just before dozing off.

Victor merely rolled his blue eyes as Ferris left it up to him to awaken Vince later on when it was time to get the girls. Of course he'd be left to babysit the other two; story of his life. He didn't mind too much, though, as he was more tired than he was actually sleepy. Unlike the other two, he actually got sleep the night before, despite the fact that he had a little newborn girl at home now.
As the other two disappeared, the young man lounged on one of the couches by the fireplace, setting the fire alight with a wave of his wand before pulling out a pair of reading glasses and pulling a book that had been left on the coffee table. He'd brought it, but it wasn't some fun novel or anything of the sort, but rather a book on potions, sort of like an encyclopedia of all the potions out there and how to prepare each. To this day, years after graduating from Hogwarts, he still held a fascination for potions, and his job as a Healer in a Sicilian hospital allowed him to practice this hobby almost everyday; but it was also important he always kept up-to-date on any new potions and learned the recipe for almost all.
Meanwhile, back in the twenty-seventh boutique the girls had visited that afternoon, Vianna was hidden away in the changing rooms while Julia was outside torturing Airi. Julia had sent her off to try on a couple of dresses that did not flatter the Italian girl at all. They were far too small for her taste, too revealing and sparkly and bright and just plain... horrible. But Vianna had to bite her tongue and keep all comments to herself for all the past couple hours, not wanting to be rude and ruin the trip for Julia who was obviously so ecstatic to be out shopping again.
However, to avoid her, the girl took much longer than necessary in the changing rooms, buying herself time before she had to head back out and have more ugly dresses thrown at her.
As she neatly placed the last dress she had just tried on back on its hanger, a tiny parchment bird flew into the girl's compartment, catching her completely off-guard. Her eyebrows rose at the sight of it for a brief moment before the brightest of smiles adorned her face. She'd seen this paper bird before, and there was only one person she knew who sent her notes this way. Eagerly, the girl took the little bird into her hands and unfolded the paper, only to reveal a very amusing sketch of a little sad face accompanied by her husband's handwriting. Pulling out her wand and transfiguring one of the hangers into a quill, Vianna scribbled onto the paper, 'I miss you too, Professor! You'd cry if you saw some of the things Julia's making me try on!' She chuckled softly to herself, shaking her head slightly. 'Enjoy your nap. I'm sorry you had to spend the first day of our trip with my brothers, but I promise tomorrow I'm not leaving your side for a second.' She doodled a little smiley face beside her note before adding, 'I love you. See you soon! - Vianna'
Once finished with that, the girl folded the little paper bird back up and sent him off back to Ferris. She returned the quill to its original clothes hanger shape and changed back into her clothes, walking out of the changing rooms (and exchanging a sympathetic smile with Airi who was walking in at that moment with a mountain of dresses to try on) and back out into the shop.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I'm off for now Deeee Deruperssss! ![Glomp](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/glomp.gif) Ferris woke up about an hour and a half later, finding it a good deal less comfortable to be sleeping without his wife somewhere around, right at his side. But he'd managed to get some good sleep due to the pure exhaustion he was faced with more than he'd ever expected when he'd first laid down to sleep. And though he was able to sleep for a good while, his body seemed to know that this couldn't last too long, that he had to find his Vianna before he could really be completely at ease. And so he woke up with a long yawn as the clock hit 6:07, running a hand through his hair and over his chest absentmindedly until his hand suddenly felt a paper between his fingers. Eyebrows raising, the young man picked it up just to find a note from Vianna, her familiar handwriting much more comforting that he'd ever expected. He beamed at it for a moment before gently setting it on their bedside table and putting his shoes back on.
Ferris headed out of his bedroom with a jacket, hearing that it could be a bit chilly during the nights in Rome, and gently slipping on the almost blazer-like coat. He gave a faint smile at the sight of the orange sky slowly turning to a light purple, signaling that it was time for night, almost causing a visible excitement in the young man who wanted nothing more than to see his wife, as he would when night fell.

ooc: Byee!!
By the time Ferris showed up in the living room, the Vincenzi brothers were already up and about. Vince still had a rather sleepy look on his face as he wandered around the kitchen looking for some water, which meant he'd probably just woken up a moment ago. Victor, meanwhile, had borrowed his brother's mirror and was in the middle of a conversation in Italian with the reflection on the glass.
"Oh look, Sleeping Beauty has finally decided to join us," said Vince as he walked out of the kitchen with a glass of cold water, making it seem, by his comment, like he'd been up for hours before Ferris.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's eyebrows rose just slightly at the sight of Victor speaking into his mirror in swift Italian, vaguely wondering if perhaps he was inquiring about the kids again. But before he could ask or really take two steps into the room, Vince quickly mentioned that 'Sleepy Beauty' had decided to join them, making it seem as though he was a distant last when it came to waking up. "Have I been asleep for all that long?" he wondered aloud with slightly furrowed brows before merely shrugging and letting out a bit of a yawn, leaning up against one of the walls near the fireplace. "Have to talked to the girls at all?" he asked as though they'd suddenly sprouted up a means of communication, having a bit of a blank moment and overlooking the fact that he'd been the only one to communicate with any of the women in the past few hours (that he knew of, anyway). But upon realizing this moments after saying it, his sleepy mind didn't really seem to care to correct himself and rephrase the question.

Vince rose an eyebrow at Ferris. "Y'know, Vi always said you were smart, but I'm starting to doubt it," he muttered as Ferris asked if they had been able to talk with the girls. Obviously they couldn't, which was the main reason they didn't get in touch with them a few hours earlier when they wanted to meet with them already rather than wait for Julia to finish her shopping.
Victor put down the mirror and turned to the other two. "Oh good, you're both up now," he said, quickly getting up to his feet, looking more than eager and enthusiastic to get out of the suite and back with his wife already. He was tired of spending time just with Vince and Ferris, it wasn't exactly how he'd planned to spend this little vacation. "Let's go, Julia should be done by now. And even if she's not, I'm not letting her keep Airi hostage any longer," said the young man, honestly rather annoyed to have completely wasted away the first day of their trip.
"Alriiight, but if they're not by the fountain like we'd agreed there isn't much we can do about it," Vince reminded his brother. "Unless we go searching each boutique in the piazza."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris merely shot his brother-in-law a bit of a look as Vince mentioned that he was beginning to doubt his sister's comments about him being smart all these years. But he remained silent, turning to Victor as he quickly got up and suggested that they get done and rescue Airi and Vianna, something that he couldn't help but smile about on instinct. Was it weird that he was getting a bit giddy? Maybe it was strange after all these years, but he couldn't help but feel a little excited to see the girl he'd been separated from for hours now. He'd missed her presence, everywhere he went. He would've much rather had a nap with her at his side or wandered around Rome with her right next to him; rather than with Vince and Victor, his least appreciated company.
But these things were swept from his mind as they started out of the door with Vince mentioning that there wasn't anything they could do about it if the girls weren't at the fountain when they got there. Ferris immediately decided that he would just have to sent another paper bird if that happened, knowing there was no chance of him just waiting around for Julia to release his wife from torture. Making sure the jewelry box was tucked neatly away in his pocket, the young man followed Vince and Victor out the door, anxiously awaiting their arrival at the fountain. And though he had wanted to see this fountain (due to the fact of how historical it was), it was obvious that he wanted to get there more to see Vianna than anything else.

ooc: Sorry this took so long, I accidentally clicked something and lost the post just as I was almost done, so I had to write it over again.
As the boys walked out into the crowded Roman streets, Victor sighed. "You're not worried because your girlfriend is the one having the time of her life, not the one being held hostage," he told his brother who merely gave a bit of a grin at this. But it was true; he wasn't worried in the slightest. He was happy. Happy that he didn't have to suffer through hours of accompanying Julia to shop and even got to take a well-deserved nap. This trip was going great!
Victor shot his grinning brother a look but said nothing more, quietly leading the way through crowds of tourists and residents and out of the piazza they had settled at. It would be a bit of a walk for the boys to reach the Fontana Di Trevi, as it wasn't necessarily just around the corner. And the sky turning from orange to purple to an almost black shade of blue showed the time passing by with each step they took, until they were enveloped in the darkness of night, the streets only illuminated by the many shops they passed and the tall, bright, Victorian-style streetlights. By the time they reached the fontana, it wasn't just the sky and time that had changed, but the temperature as well, and it showed in the way the tourists surrounding the fountain began to pull out their sweaters and jackets.
The fontana was breathtaking. Standing over eighty feet tall in height, it towered admiringly over all the tourists that surrounded it, all admiring its intricate details and flipping coins into its crystalline waters, trusting of the legends that surrounded the fountain - if you threw in a coin, you were guaranteed a trip back to Rome, but if you threw more, your prizes could vary from finding true love to losing your significant other; it all depended on which legend you wanted to believe. The fontana looked especially beautiful at night, with golden light showering it gently, elegantly, enough to bring out all its beautiful centuries-old details without being too harsh. The Vincenzi brothers were a little distracted just by the sight of it, by how immense it was, before they seemed to remember what they were here for, and their blue eyes began to scan the sea of unfamiliar faces surrounding the fontana for the faces they knew well, the ones they were expected to meet here.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Bahahaha! It's ok! Sorry this took so long! I got distracted! Ferris admired the sight of the fountain with wide brown eyes, his expression in slight awe as he took in all of the details of the famous fountain known throughout the world. It was beautiful, almost magical as the water sparkled in the lights from the streetlamps and the moon that seemed to be nearly full. He enjoyed the sight of this for a long moment before a sort of melancholy feel came to his stomach as he realized how much he wanted to share this with Vianna, how much he wanted to have her at his side once more. He enjoyed her presence, he always had, and the lack of it was growing more and more evident as the minutes ticked by, his attention drifting from the fountain to the crowd in search for that face that he knew so well, almost anxious as he bounced on the balls of his feet.
Julia catwalked out of the last boutique of the night (a decision that wasn't up to her, rather her company's choice) reluctantly, her heels clicking loudly on each cobblestone, a grin on her face despite the fact that her shopping spree was cut short. "I think we got some really cute stuff," she announced cheerfully.
OOC: I might need fifteen minutes!

"Mm. Yeah, nice..." Vianna muttered unenthusiastically as Julia cheered over their shopping spree. By now, the girl was far too tired and exhausted and bored out of her skull to put on a fake smile like she had been doing these past few hours. She didn't want to see another dress or boutique or shoe shop for as long as she lived, though, of course, she wasn't imprudent enough to go and say these things aloud. She may not be enthusiastic anymore, but she always made sure not to complain or look too down around Julia in fears of coming off as rude to the girl. It took the girls a bit of a walk to reach the famous Fontana Di Trevi, though it wasn't as long a walk as it had been for the boys, since they had sort of been making their way there when they travelled from one boutique to the next.
By the time girls arrived there, the boys had already been waiting for a while. The brothers were a little closer to the fountain by now, absentmindedly admiring the 17th-century style of it and all its intricate details, though they were still far from it, not wanting to find themselves surrounded by curious tourists. Besides, it was a lot easier to get an overall look of the fontana from this distance. It was then, only a couple moments later, that they heard the all too familiar sound of their little sister's voice calling out to her husband, causing them to turn away from the fountain and to the source of the sound with startled expressions on their lightly tanned faces.
" Professor!" called out the girl as she hurried her steps, wrapping her arms around the young man in a surprisingly tight hug once she'd reached him. But she'd missed him, more than she thought could be possible after being apart for only half a day, and it was nice to have him back, to not be with Julia throwing dresses at her anymore. "I missed you!" she added, pulling back just enough so she could beam up at him with sparkling crystal blue eyes, that childlike excitement of hers making an appearance again.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Awwww! Sorry we didn't get too much time today, I was a bit busy! But I'll definitely be on tomorrow! ![Glomp](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/glomp.gif) Ferris was getting almost antsy as the minutes ticked by slowly, his brown eyes always scanning the crowd, always looking for that bright expression of his wife though never coming up with anything. Why was this taking so long? He began to worry slightly, his thoughts drifing over to what might've held them back though he wasn't all that freaked out, knowing that they were most likely so late just because of Julia's shopping habits. But still... He wanted to see her already, to be with her again, and he hadn't felt this anxious to see her in...well, it must've been years. It was sort of hard to realize how much you needed someone's presence until they weren't at your side like they so often were. He'd hardly glanced at that fountain, his height allowing him to gaze out over most of the tourists in the hopes of catching the sight of his Vianna.
And then, wonderfully and very suddenly, the familiar voice of his wife broke through the hum of murmurs from the crowd, originating from somewhere behind him and announcing that word he knew better than any other. Ferris whipped around with a smile growing on his expression, his brown eyes quickly fixing on the girl he loved so dearly, and felt the relief spread through his veins, an instinctual sort of familiarity in her presence that he hadn't even realized he'd been missing until she filled the hole once more. "Vi!" he called back with a soft chuckle as she was suddenly in his arms, her own grasp tight around his middle as she slipped inside of his jacket and enveloped his chest in her warm embrace. Obviously beyond thrilled (which must've been rather strange to those who didn't understand Fervi's relationship), the young man picked his wife up in his arms to be more at level with her, his lanky arms snug around her slender waist as he relished in the feel of her back in his gentle grasp. He pulled back with a bit of a lopsided grin as she began to speak, informing him that she'd missed him and beaming at him in that way that got his heart to melt.
He hadn't known he could miss her that much for such a short amount of time.
They hadn't had to try it out in years, and he felt extraordinarily like that seventeen-year-old reluctant to ever leave Vianna's side.
It was wonderful.
"I missed you much, much more," he determined immediately with a playful smile, keeping her close to himself as he comfortably held her a good foot above the ground so she was just slightly taller than him. Ferris's brown eyes sparkled, scanning her expression with the most dazed of smiles until he leaned in and pecked her lips. "I missed you," he grumbled upon breaking apart, his voice soft and gentle as he reiterated what had already been said, somehow adding much more weight to it this time.

ooc: Don't worry about it
Vianna's grin only seemed to widen and her blue eyes only seemed to sparkle brighter as Ferris's arms wrapped around her, lifting the girl's feet off the ground, giving her a new height that was very similar to his own. Her expression was completely overjoyed, like that of a child on Christmas morning, and it was true that it was rather exaggerated of Fervi to get this happy to be back together, but... that was just the way they were, the way they worked, and nothing could ever change that. It was little things like this that made their relationship so wonderful and their love so strong, the fact that, after all these years spending almost every day together, they still couldn't tire of each other's presence and they still missed each other incredibly when they were apart.
Vianna giggled lightly and shook her head as Ferris shared with her that he missed her much, much more, of course not agreeing with that statement. But her giggles died out and a warm smile was left on her lips as he continued, this time letting her know that he'd missed her a little more seriously, just after awarding the girl a peck kiss she was quick to return enthusiastically. "You have no idea how glad I am to be with my Professor again," Vianna announced to him with a bit of a grin, her mood suddenly turning from bored to death and tired to giddy, even a little bubbly. She couldn't help it, though; being with her husband after being apart for so long made her happier than she imagined possible.
Vince and Victor merely stared at Fervi like they were animals at the zoo. Merlin, could those two get any cheesier? If they didn't know better, they'd swear the couple was only meeting now after months of not seeing each other or something of the sort. However, that's not to say the boys weren't happy to be back with their significant others, they just didn't take it overboard like Fervi did.
Vince's eyebrows nearly reached his hairline and his blue eyes widened as Julia came to sight with approximately one billion shopping bags in her hands, all far too big for her. "Uhh... Jules, did you get all of that with what I gave you?" he asked a little hesitantly. He knew what he'd given her earlier had been a generous amount, but... all this stuff... it looked like it might've cost her five times what he'd given her, and he couldn't help be a little worried his bank account might now be filled with cobwebs rather than gold coins. He didn't mind too horribly much, he'd kind of gotten used to the idea of working like a slave and seeing his earnings disappear right the next day, but that didn't mean Julia's shopping habits didn't still scare him a bit sometimes, worry him even.
Victor and Airi, meanwhile, had kind of isolated themselves from the rest of the group. They were a short distance away, sharing in the sight of the Fontana Di Trevi that stood before them, admiring all its beauty and detail together, exchanging words in Italian before deciding to get a little closer and follow tradition by throwing a couple coins into its crystalline waters.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris adored the sight of his wife's sparkling blue eyes, his gaze filled with a sort of love that he couldn't help but show off to anyone that glanced at his expression. His arms remained snug and comfortable around the waist that seemed so familiar as she announced that he had no idea how glad she was to be back with her Professor again, a comment that got his smile to return twice as big, his dimples coming out of hiding as it turned slightly lopsided. "I can't believe that I let my little gem be pulled away from me and into the claws of Julia, of all people," he grumbled sweetly to her with the warmest of sparkles to his dark brown eyes, leaning towards her just slightly so his nose could trace along the side of her smooth expression, his breath warm on her cheek as he relished in the feel of her so close to him once more. But he'd missed her, more than he'd ever imagined that he could miss his wife after such a short amount of time. Of course, this sort of terrible longing had happened before but, it'd been years ago! When they were dating, when they were an engaged couple that had to separate, when they first moved in together and realized that they'd be separated for most of the day due to work. All of that was new and horrible and everyday he'd felt this pull towards her that would only be cured when he returned to her side.
And now, they'd adjusted to their schedules a bit; they'd accepted that they had to be apart for a while and that made coming home all the more better. And of course she was on his mind most of the time at work, but they'd grown used to it, knowing that they'd see the other right at home. This, however, this sort of longing for his wife hadn't happened since when they'd first moved in together and it made the boy almost giddy to have her back. It'd been a long time since he'd really gotten the chance to miss her. Which was good, but it also meant that they never got to have these moments and these honest feelings come out when it became so obviously true that they'd needed one another's presence.
Julia observed Fervi for a small moment (all that her light brown eyes could really take of it), her expression as though someone had just thrown a trash can atop of her. She found that to be horribly ridiculous and a little disturbing to be honest, quickly turning away to her Vincent with a small smile growing on her expression at the sight of him. (Which was totally hypocritical because when Julince wanted to, they could make everyone within the country cringe.) She glanced down at her shopping bags as Vince spoke, asking if she'd gotten all of these things with what he had given her. It was then that she sort of beamed with pride, "No I did not," she announced with a giggle, quickly taking a couple steps back with obnoxious clicks of her heels and setting down all of her bags. "These ones," she started with a small smile, taking a few of the smaller ones and putting them off to the side. "Came free with my purchases!" she finished as though this was the best thing on the face of the planet; which it probably was since that meant there were a few less bags that hadn't come out of Vince's bank account.
"And these," she continued, obviously not done, "...I paid for with the birthday money I got from some of my friends just last month!" she announced after sorting a good portion of the rest of the bags into a new pile. Leave it up to Julia to find friends that only got her money for whenever her birthday came around (March). But this was much more interesting than just a proud display of bags; you see, Julia had never even once considered paying for anything with her own money. Not that she couldn't have, as over the past few years she'd gotten some major birthday money from her friends, but she'd just never thought about what she might be doing to her boyfriend's bank account. She just sort of assumed it was bottomless, or something.
This was the first time she'd ever made some sort of effort to keep some of Vince's savings in tact. And granted, it wasn't as though she shoved a million galleons back to the bank or anything (the pile that marked the bags that Vince's money had paid for was still sporting a good seven to ten bags). But she'd paid for another five or six bags of fairly expensive things with her own money, and for the first time ever in Julince history, Julia forked over the bag of money he'd originally given her, placing it in his hand with a proud grin on her glossy lips. The bag was much lighter and seemed a little sad, but there was money still in it. She hadn't spent it all. And that was a first.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris mentioned he couldn't believe he'd let her be pulled away from him and into the claws of Julia, amusement in the girl's bright blue eyes. "I can't believe it either, and I'm not letting it happen again!" the girl replied with a smile, her features still completely overjoyed to be back in the arms of whom she loved most. "I don't think I want to go near another boutique for the next twenty years," she added a little more playfully with a soft chuckle. Though she truly did have every intention not to be separated from her husband again, especially to end up shopping with Julia. They only had two carefree and kid-free days, and she couldn't help feeling like that first had been wasted away; not only that, but it was their anniversary! This was the first time they ever spent their anniversary apart, in the company of others rather than each other, and it was… well, horrible!
Vince's dark eyebrows rose as Julia first spoke, answering his question with a simple and straightforward, and rather giddy, 'no I did not'. That was definitely not the response the young man had been expecting at all, though he said nothing and instead listened as she continued, explaining that some of the bags had come free with her purchases and the others she had paid for with the birthday money she got from her friends the last month. Vince's blue eyes widened wider than ever - did Julia just say she paid for her things? "What?" was all he able to bring himself to say at that moment, the disbelief clear on his features.
And then, just as the young man thought Julia couldn't have been any more out of character, the girl handed him back the bag of money he'd handed her earlier with galleons still inside it. Vince's gaze fell from the girl before him to the bag now resting on his palm, a bunch of mixed emotions on his face - surprise, disbelief, confusion, etc. "Uh…" He just stood there wide-eyed for a moment before seeming to realize he had to say something, that he couldn't just stand there and look ridiculous for the rest of the night. "There's… money in here, Jules," he said, as if Julia hadn't been aware of that and had actually meant to give him an empty bag.
His brows furrowed at that moment, still disbelieving of her actions and confused as to what might have caused this behaviour. "How come?" he asked her.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a soft chuckle as Vianna agreed with him before deciding that she wasn't ever letting it happen again, that she didn't want to go to another boutiwue in the next twenty years. "Aw..." he grumbled playfully to her ear, kissing her cheek lovingly as he finally set her feet back on the ground, his lanky arms still wrapped around her waist though he now had to look down at her a bit. "My poor Vi," he continued with a soft smile, brown eyes sparkling at the sight of her so near to him once more as he gently kissed her temple just because he could, finding that he'd missed having the ability to just plant kisses on her whenever he wanted. He couldn't believe that they'd wasted a whole day apart from one another, not to mention the fact that it was their anniversary! He felt like he'd hardly seen her all day. "I feel like most of our anniversary is over..." the young man grumbled with a weak smile, pulling her closer as he rested his forehead on her own.
Julia watched her boyfriend with shining light brown eyes, biting her lip just slightly with excitement as he reviewed the bag in his hand only to announce that there was still money in it. She let out a giggle and a roll of her eyes as he then inquired as to why this was so, taking out her wand and sending the many bags off to the hotel room (ooc: I can't remember if she could do magic or not...let's pretend bahaha) before turning back to Vince with a shrug of her tanned shoulders. "You made me feel fairly horrible," she teased with a mock roll of her eyes, obvious amusement behind her pursed lips as she approached him. "And I figured," she muttered with a sigh and a bit of a more genuine smile, "..that maybe my Vinciepoo could use just a teensy bit of a break." She finished, standing right before him and looking up at the man she'd grown to know so well over the past few years, flashing him the smallest of smiles that was rather reminiscent of her nicer side.

Vianna smiled faintly as Ferris kissed her cheek before her feet met the ground again, listening as the young man before her, who was once again back to being taller than her, shared that he felt like most of their anniversary was over. This got the girl's smile to fade slightly for a moment before returning, this time more sympathetic. "I know…" she muttered softly. "But we have dozens of other anniversaries to make up for it," she added a little more playfully, leaning on her toes for a moment to peck his cheek gently before returning to her original height. "Do you want to go throw coins into the fountain?" she asked with a small grin. "We can't just come to the Fontana Di Trevi and not flip a coin into the water!" she added, as if this was a crime they were committing by just standing out here so close to the fountain and not following any of the traditions that came with it. "C'mon!" She pulled herself back from the boy just enough so she could take one of his hands and begin to drag him away to the fountain.
Vince's expression, which had been a mix of disbelief and confusion, quickly turned into one of horrible guilt when Julia explained that he had made her feel fairly horrible. He was able to tell, from her tones, that she was just teasing, but… still. He knew it probably had something to do with this, that he shouldn't have snapped on her earlier. And it was true that he appreciated the fact that she had been thoughtful during her shopping spree this time, but he wasn't too appreciative of the fact that it had been due to him making her feel bad. That wasn't what he had been aiming for at all. He tried to smile, to show his appreciation, but the guilt was sort of overpowering that feeling, making him cringe just very slightly instead. "I'm sorry, Jules," he said after a moment's silence, a soft sigh escaping his lips. "I didn't mean to make you… feel bad, or anything like that," he explained. "I don't want you to waste your own money just because your boyfriend's a jerk." He gave her a small apologetic smile, his gaze falling to the ground absentmindedly for a moment (Vince had never been too good at apologizing, though dating Julia had taught him to work on that skill), before looking up at her again, blue eyes still rather guilty, though a little hesitant as well. He was still a little taken aback by Julia's sudden change (at least for that night), and wasn't sure how to react to it; part of him was happy, but part of him felt like the biggest jerk in Italy.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened as Vianna admitted that she understood before reminding him that they had dozens of other anniversaries to make up for it, something that got the young man to grin with a soft chuckle. She was just so cute, being all positive and kissing his cheek in the way that got his heart to jump just slightly... Before he could say anything else or even register that there was a silence between them, Vianna asked if he wanted to flip a coin into the fountain, reminding him that you couldn't just come to the Fontana Di Trevi and not flip a coin in the water. "Alright," he agreed with a soft chuckle, brown eyes sparkling at the girl before him as she grabbed his hand and started off closer to the historical water fixture.
Julia seemed far from pleased as her attempt at being nice wasn't appreciated by the young man across from her, giving a bit of a pout as she took in the expression that didn't seem very happy with her actions. Well, fine! That was the last time she'd ever do something nice! She'd already decided this, assuming that Vince just wasn't impressed with her major self restraint, when the young man suddenly apologized. Her blonde eyebrows rose at this, pout falling as she realized that perhaps something different was going on in her boyfriend's mind. She listened attentively, her expression slightly bewildered, as he went onto explain that he hadn't meant to make her feel bad, that he didn't want her wasting her own money just because he was a jerk. Her eyebrows rose further at these statements, remaining silent for a long moment with pursed glossed lips, watching.
"You're not a jerk, Vince," she finally muttered softly with suddenly normal light brown eyes (no longer shining with that of a good sale as they had been for most of their relationship most of her day). She paused for a moment, scanning his expression with a look of slight thoughtfulness on her own features, "And I deserved to...feel bad. I..I needed it," she continued softly, glancing around as though afraid someone else might hear her moment of gentleness with the boy she'd come to love. "I never really...realized that you weren't an endless bank," she continued with a weak chuckle, glancing to the ground for a moment before returning her gaze to the boy at her side. "I...wanted to spend some of my own money for once." After a moment of merely watching him with these soft eyes she snapped out of it with a small shake of her blonde head. "But don't make me feel bad like that again!" she announced in a much more Julia-like tone, taking a step back from him as though afraid those blue eyes she'd become all too fond of would persuade her into saying something else ridiculous.

ooc: sorry this took sooo long, I had an interruption
With her hand still wrapped tightly around her husband's, Vianna made her way through the crowds of tourists and closer over to the immense fontana, a grin adorning her lightly tanned face as they grew closer and closer to their goal. It was so… big! And so historical and detailed and just… beautiful. Of course, being European, Fervi weren't as blown away by history like us silly Americans, but even European themselves were impressed by the beauty of this fountain, by all the history and beauty and art it held. It wasn't just another building that had been there for centuries, no, it was a work of art, the Mona Lisa of sculptures and fountains if you will. And as they drew closer to it, its beauty only seemed to grow, all its fine details very gently and elegantly lit by the golden light that showered it once nighttime arrived.
Eventually, Vianna led herself and Ferris close enough to the fountain that they could even sit at the very edge of it if they wished. But instead of sitting, Vianna climbed onto its edge instead and gazed down at the crystal waters. It was large enough to be its own pool (at least for kids, as it wasn't deep enough for an adult-sized person to really just swim in there). Vianna grinned at the sight, feeling a strong urge to just jump right in. She knew the city guards would have their head if they dared try to disturb the peace somewhere this important, though. "Isn't it pretty, Professor?" Vianna asked, turning to her husband with an almost childlike excitement, a little taller than her husband now, due to the place she'd taken.
Vince felt like he was in the twilight zone.
First Julia doesn't spend all his money, then she pays for things with her own money, and now she was assuring him that not only was he not a jerk, but she had deserved to feel bad too, that she needed it. Vince was baffled. Had Airi and Vianna done something to his girlfriend? Did they feed her a potion without her noticing during the time they had been apart? What happened?!
But then, just when things were starting to really confuse the young man who had never really been too bright in the first place, she spoke again, this time in a more Julia-like fashion as she exclaimed that he shouldn't make her feel bad like that again. Vince grinned, a sort of relief washing over him as she said this. He did appreciate Julia's new understanding, he truly did, but at the end of the day Vince still preferred his bossy girlfriend; it was precisely because she bossed him around and didn't go chasing after him like some trained puppy that he liked her, that she differed from all the other girls he had met before. And it was weird, really, that he'd find himself attracted to someone who'd boss him around and scold him, but that was just the way Julince were - weird.
"It's good to have you back, Jules," he announced teasingly, as if the girl was just really arriving now and he had been talking to someone else all this time. "C'mon, let's go see the fountain," he said, taking her hand into his own with a bit of a grin, looking a little too happy to have his girlfriend back to scolding him; it was for that reason that Julia would never truly, completely change. "Unless," started Vince suddenly as they began to make their way through the crowds of tourists, a smirk now beginning to adorn his lips so a more devious sort of expression took over his features, "Julia wanted to surprise me with more of her unexpected completely selfless kindness? What's next, are you going to promise me a foot massage every night after work?" he asked, raising his eyebrows teasingly at the girl. "That would be extremely kindhearted of you, Jules," he added with a grin.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Don't worry about it! BTW -- Is Vianna standing on the edge of it? That's what I got out of it and I'm gonna respond to it that way but please let me know if she's not! Ferris watched as his wife climbed up onto the edge of the fountain instead of sitting down like most of the other tourists, the warmest of smiles coming onto his lopsided expression as he admired the sight of the girl who was now just a couple inches taller than himself. What was it about this girl that he just couldn't get over? It was like everything he did and every moment he spent with her was just overwhelmingly wonderful, made his heart melt in his chest. He admired her shamelessly with sparkling brown eyes as she observed the fountain he seemed to have forgotten about, gently taking her hand and intwining their fingers as he reluctantly turned his gaze over to the fountain before them. They were pratically the same height now, which was strange for the young man who was so used to his wife being a near foot shorter than himself. So when he looked over to her as she asked for confirmation that the historical art piece was pretty, he was able to beam directly at her own expression. "It is," he agreed with a soft smile, leaning forward to kiss her cheek sweetly before allowing his brown eyes to scan the fountain before him.
Julia rolled her eyes with a soft sigh as Vince admitted that he was glad to 'have her back', slight amusement behind her expression as he then suggested that they go see the fountain and took her hand. She followed after him, light brown eyes scanning the large fountain getting cloesr, as Vince then turned to her with a rather devious expression and suggested that perhaps she wanted to surprise him with more of her unexpected, selfless kindness; that perhaps she was going to promise him a foot massage every night after work.
Julia stopped right in her tracks as they got right up to the fountain, blonde eyebrows raising for a moment before she simply shoved her boyfriend back into the clear waters of the fountain releasing his hand in the process. "I wouldn't count on it," she replied with a bit of a devious grin, admiring her handiwork as he sat in the shallow waters, soaked. "I'm getting a soda," she announced as she reached in and took a galleon from his pocket, locking her eyes with his own for a moment and admiring the soaked expression staring back. "Love you!" she added teasingly, pecking his lips with her own glossed ones before whipping around and catwalking towards one of the nearest shops, all of the tourists parting a walkway for her with wide eyes. Yes, it felt good to be back. EDIT: Sorry that took like an hour, I got really caught up in something!

ooc: Yeah she is. I'm just really bad at explaining stuff, but yeah, she's like standing on the edge of the fountain... y'know, where people usually just go and sit and chillax... ![lol](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/LOL.gif)
& Sorry about the delay, 'twas pizza time.
Vianna smiled warmly as Ferris placed a kiss on her cheek, beaming at the young man beside her and quite enjoying her new height. It was nice to finally be able to receive a kiss or award a kiss to the young man beside her without having to get up on her toes but rather just turn to him effortlessly. "So, how many coins do you want to throw, Professor?" Vianna asked the young man. "There's a bunch of different legends about what the fountain will give you, depending on how many coins you throw in," she said. Vianna was just starting to search her small messenger-style bag for some coins when there was a splash! and the sound of tourists complaining about the water splashing on them as they took a few steps away from a certain part of the fountain. A bit startled by this, Vianna turned her curious gaze to the source of the commotion, only to find none other than her brother sitting in the waters with a completely surprised look on his face, his clothes and hair completely soaked. Now, Vianna had always known her brother to be one to love bringing attention to himself, so jumping into the middle of the Fontana Di Trevi seemed like something he'd do (or would have done, back in his teen years at least), but that puzzled expression on his face told her this had not been done on purpose.
It was at that moment that Vianna caught sight of Julia apparently saying something to the young man, taking a coin from his pocket and disappearing from the scene like nothing had happened. Vianna connected the dots at that moment, and realized… Vince hadn't just randomly jumped into the fountain. Julia had pushed him in! At this realization, the girl's light eyebrows rose with surprise, before, only a moment later, she was in a fit of giggles. Her cheeks were very slowly beginning to turn a light shade of pink, her blue eyes sparkling with all the amusement in the world at what had just happened. She always found it beyond amusing when things like these happened to her brother, he was just the perfect victim to pull something like this on.
" Julia!"
Vince's blue eyes were wide and disbelieving - did she seriously just push him into the fountain, in front of all these people?! Oh, he was definitely not going to let her get away with that! He was Vince Vincenzi, he was supposed to be praised, not… shoved into fountains! (He seemed to be going back in time and returning to a younger version of himself at that moment). He was just getting up to his feet when, suddenly, a voice called out to him in Italian, " Hey! Cosa credi di fare?!" completely startling the poor boy who just ended up falling right back into the water in surprise.
Vince was back up on his feet only a second later, though, as his widened blue eyes found a couple of the piazza guards making their way through the crowds, straight toward the young man they had every intention of taking away for disturbing the peace (Italians had never been very fond of people jumping into their fountains, in case that hadn't become obvious by now). Vince was frozen for a second there as he realized, he had two options - he could just go along with the law and receive some punishment which might include paying a fine, or… he could make a run for it. And, being the brilliant mind that he is, Vince opted for the latter. There was no way he was going to be taken away like some sort of criminal just because his girlfriend had decided to push him into the water (though running away made him seem as just as much of a criminal).
" Hey! Rallenta! Vieni qui!" The guards pushed and shoved their way through the crowds of tourists as 'the criminal' made his way to the other end of the fountain, rather slowed down due to the fact that he was running in water, and looking very comical because of it, only to hop right out as he reached the other end and disappear into the crowd standing outside. Luckily for Vince, though, most of the people seemed too amused by his situation to bother trying to stop him and turn him in. Instead, like spectators to a bullfighting match, they cheered as the fugitive made his way right through them at top speed, soaked from head to toe, and followed very closely by a pair of city guards in dark, navy blue uniforms, shouting out after him in Italian.
Vianna watched all of this with wide blue eyes, a little worried for her brother but for the most part completely amused that he had just gone from tourist to fugitive in a matter of seconds. She was still giggling to herself as she watched all of this, far too amused to be able to help herself at that moment.
"What the hell just happened?" Victor asked as he and Airi soon reached Fervi's side, his gaze turned to the side of the crowd his brother had just disappeared into.
"I think Vince has just turned himself into a fugitive..." Vianna explained with a giggle.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Bahaha nah, it's alright I'm just bad at picking up on stuff! And NO WAY. I'm totally considering delving into the pizza stash myself! *reads post* Bahahaha Italians don't like people jumping into their fountains... ![rotfl](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/rotfl.gif) Ferris returned his gaze to the woman at his side as she asked how many coins he wanted to toss into the fountain, explaining that there were many different legends involving what the fountain would give to you depending on the number of coins you gave it. His eyebrows rose at this information, obviously not having known much about it, and was just about to reply when he suddenly heard a fairly loud splashing sound and ripples coursed through the crystalline waters. Brown eyes widening, he peered out from behind Vianna only to see Vince sitting at the bottom of the fountain just a little ways down from them, soaked from head to foot and glaring at something he couldn't see. His eyebrows rose further as he let out a string of hearty chuckles, all of the amusement in the world sparkling behind his brown-eyed gaze.
He quickly gathered that the young man had been pushed in (assuming it had been Julia), and watched as the guards attempted to catch his brother-in-law, only to find themselves in the midst of a chase. The young man's laughter increased slightly at the sight of Vince running through the water of the fountain just to pop out on the other side and disappear, creating quite a bit of action for the guards who seemed a bit out of shape. It was then that Victor and Airi approached, asking what had happened, and thankful that she answered as he was too busy laughing, Ferris listened as Vianna explained that Vince had turned himself into a fugitive.
His laughter died down a couple moments later, a grin on his pale face as he cleared his throat and let out one last soft chuckle, obviously finding that this laughing had done him a bit of good, brightening up his expression and bringing a bit of pink to his cheeks as his brown eyes sparkled. "Alright, that just made my day," he announced with a lopsided grin, turning to beam at Vianna for a moment before returning his gaze to the fountain as though this wasn't something of concern.

ooc: WOO! Telepathic powers!
& Yeahhh, I had to mention that 'cause last time Fervi fell into a fountain they also got chased for it... ![lol](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/LOL.gif) I guess I'm just making it like it's illegal to jump/fall into fountains there, but I dunno how true that may be...
By now, Vince had disappeared from the crowds and was probably now running somewhere around the Roman streets soaked and looking like a complete lunatic, bringing along with him the two guards who had yet to give up on the chase, though they were beginning to run out of breath and were slowly losing momentum.
Victor tried his best not to smile and show amusement over his brother's misfortune. He felt a little bad finding amusement in a family member's bad luck, but... well, he couldn't deny it, this was actually funny. All of the bad things that happened to Vince were funny, actually, and the poor boy's siblings always found it a little difficult not to make fun of him for it later on. "I should probably go find him," Victor decided after a moment, though he didn't seem too thrilled with the idea.
"Leave him, this is between him and Julia. We shouldn't get involved," said Vianna. "Vince will find his way back and plot revenge somehow," she explained casually, as if it was completely normal for a boyfriend and girlfriend to be acting this childishly. But with Julince, all oddities were normal. "I just hope he's carrying a copy of the key to the suite," added Vianna with a small amused smile, rather entertained by the idea of her poor brother managing to get away from the city guards only to find himself locked out of the suite later on.

& Yeah, I suppose it had to be mentioned. ![XD](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/XD.jpg) Ferris's laughter came back for a second wave as his wife mentioned the possibility of Vince not having his hotel room key on him, quickly trying to stifle his laughter as he realized that perhaps Victor might not find it so amusing that he was laughing at his brother's misfortune. But c'mon! It was endlessly amusing that Vince should ever possibly get away from the guards just to find himself locked out of the suite! He quickly tried to clear his throat and stop his laughter, letting out a couple more soft chuckls before turning away to the fountain in hopes that it would distract him from his amusement.
Ferris let out a soft sigh, content written on his expression as he reflected on the amusement that was Vince's little spill into the fountain. He turned to his wife after a couple moments, flashing her a bit of a grin and releasing her hand just to slip his arms around her from behind, securing her place on the fountain and giving her something to lean on. "So...what were you saying about the coins?" he asked her ear with a soft smile, holding her up against his broad chest as he rested his chin on her shoulder comfortably, brown eyes admiring the sight of the peaceful fountain.

Victor merely shrugged at his sister's response before he and Airi disappeared once more. He'd only come to ask what had happened with Vince, not to spend the rest of his night in the company of Europe's biggest cheeseballs. It had been enough that he'd had to share his afternoon with Ferris and Vince alone. Vianna, meanwhile, had returned to her gaze to the fountain, admiring the sculptures that adorned it as the young man at her side chuckled softly to himself, trying to hide away his laughter. This, in turn, only got Vianna to giggle with amusement, though her giggles eventually died out as his arms wrapped around her waist and he asked her about the traditions she'd been speaking of earlier.
"Oh!" said Vianna, snapping out of her amused daze and back to the earlier topic. "Well, if we throw in one coin, that will guarantee us a trip back to Rome," Vianna explained with a smile just as, at that moment, she pulled out a coin from her bag. "If you throw in two coins, you will find true love. And if you throw in three coins, you could either get married, or… divorced." Vianna gave a small smile, making a mental note not to throw three coins straight on; the last thing she wanted was to jinx her marriage! "But there's different ways of throwing them!" she quickly added. "So, it depends. Sometimes three coins can actually mean good luck."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened with a warm smile as Vianna began to explain the different meanings of the number of coins, informing him that one coin would guarantee a person the trip back to Rome at some point in their life. His eyebrows rose slightly at this, but he remained silent as she then explained that two coins meant he'd find true love and three coins ensured that he'd get married...or divorced. His brown eyes widened slightly at this, turning to look at her with vague amusement as she assured him that sometimes three coins could mean good luck, if thrown in the right way. "I don't want to go anywhere near three coins," he grumbled playfully, pulling her closer and planting a sweet kiss to her cheek, playfully audible as it came in contact with her skin. "And I already found 'true love'," he continued to her ear with a bit of a grin, pecking her temple lovingly, enjoying the feel of her so near to himself. "So I guess that just leaves me with one choice..."
