| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vince's dark eyebrows rose as Julia decided she'd just have whatever he was having. He was starting to freak out now; had some random girl stolen one of Julia's hairs and made a polyjuice potion to turn into his girlfriend? Because this Julia he was sitting beside of was completely different to the one he was used to. He wasn't complaining, though; it wasn't often he got through so many hours of the day without them bickering or her nagging him for something. And so, the young man turned to the waiter then and gave him both his and Julia's order, though he actually kind of didn't go along with her plan and ordered something different for her. It wasn't a salad, and it was still a pasta, but it wouldn't be necessarily the exact same one he would be ordering; it'd be something lighter and smaller her English roots wouldn't have difficulty appreciating.
"I think our entertainment's limited today, Professor," Vianna muttered quietly to the young man sitting beside her, her gaze lingering on Julince for a moment before distractedly roaming over the rest of the restaurant. She was, of course, referring to the way Vince and Julia were actually getting along and not bickering over small, silly things, which was usually the one thing everyone around them found entertainment in, as mean as that sounded.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor And though Julia seemed in a much better mood than usual, she was still Julia and after her light brown eyes had finished scanning the restaurant with mild interest, they settled on the sight of Vince reaching for one of the bread rolls in the middle of the table. She stared him down with pursed lips, images of her Vince with a big belly accompanying his usually trim waist now filling her mind as he brought the unnecessary carbs up to his mouth. Without a word, she brought up one of her polished hands to briskly knock the roll out of his grasp and slap his hand quickly, flashing him a look before resituating in her seat and adjusting her small skirt as though nothing had happened.
Ferris's eyebrows rose as the roll tumbled from Vince's hand over to their side of the table, the most amused of his smiles coming onto his expression as he thought over Vianna's words from moments before about their entertainment being limited for the day. "I'm not so sure," he murmured with a soft chuckle, gently picking up the roll as it came over to them and flashing Vince a grin from across the table before taking a large bite out of it; as though to say 'my lady lets me eat carbs' like a child might taunt another with candy.

ooc: 'my lady lets me eat carbs' ![rotfl](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/rotfl.gif) ! BAHA!
The roll was only an inch away from his mouth, which was already wide open and eagerly awaiting this treat, when -- " Ow!" Vince winced as Julia slapped his hand mercilessly, causing it to drop the bread and allow it roll over to Fervi's side of the table. Vince watched this with slightly widened crystal blue eyes, looking like a puppy would after having a shoe thrown at him or something. However, this sort of sad and traumatized expression quickly turned into one of annoyance as his gaze traveled over to the girl at his side who was looking like nothing had just happened. "What the bloody hell was that for?!" he asked, obviously a little irritated that he had just been deprived from a snack so rudely and painfully. He'd been really looking forward to that bread, he hadn't had anything all day...
And then, as if to taunt him, Ferris took a large bite out of the bread roll. Vince threw the most unfriendly of glares in his direction, holding the urge to just throw something more than just a look at the young Englishman. Vianna, looking completely amused, giggled lightly to herself. "Aw..." she said softly, giving her brother a sympathetic look before bringing up a hand and pulling the small plate with tiny cubes of butter and a knife over to her side of the table. "Would you like some butter with that, Professor?" she asked sweetly, holding the urge to giggle to herself.
Victor merely leaned back on his seat and watched the scene unfolding with amusement, though he couldn't help feeling a little bad for his brother. However, he said nothing, merely watching all of this and taking notes - he'd definitely use this part of Julia's behaviour against his brother next time he tried to convince him to dump the bleached blonde already.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Julia's eyebrows rose, her lips set into a pursed state, as Vince turned to her to ask in rather harsh tones what that little slap to the hand had been for. "Unnecessary CARBS, Vince!" she replied as though it was obvious, her voice raising just slightly as she narrowed her eyes at him. Normally she might've let him eat the roll, but she'd just been reminded of the possibility of fat genes in her boyfriend's veins and there was no way she could just let him have a whole plate of carbs plus a mountain of rolls!
Ferris resisted the urge to laugh as Vianna brought over the plate of butter to him, asking if he wanted some butter with the delicious roll he was currently consuming. "Aw, thanks gem," he replied with an amused smile, sharing a look with her that clearly said he was having trouble holding in his laughter. He picked up the knife and began to douse his roll in butter with a soft sigh of content that was completely unnecessary, then bringing it up to his mouth and quickly finishing it off. "Say," he started playfully, amusement written behind his mock-innocent expression, "Vi, you wouldn't mind if I had another, would you?"

Vince rolled his blue eyes as Julia explained matter-of-factly that the slap to the hand had been for the unnecessary carbs he had been about to consume at that moment. "You just want me to starve, don't you?" asked the young man, giving her an incredulous look. "I haven't had a thing since last night, Julia!" he added, only distracted from his complaints as Vianna suddenly brought the plate of butter closer to herself and Ferris, watching as she offered her husband to have some butter with his bread, which the young man accepted eagerly before finishing off the rest of his bread, then going on to ask his wife if she'd mind if he had another.
"Of course not, Professor! You must be starving; why don't you just go ahead and take the rest?" suggested Vianna. "You guys aren't interested in getting more rolls, are you?" she asked the others in the group, though she was mostly addressing Vince, who looked like he might just hex them all right then and there. She couldn't help it, though; she was an evil little sister and to torture her brother was her job.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Julia nearly hissed at Vince as he suggested that she wanted him to starve, reminding her that he hadn't had anything to eat since the night before. "Oh yeah, two plates of take-out and a piece of double fudge chocolate cake the size of my head couldn't possibly be enough to tide you over!" she snapped back as she crossed her arms over her chest with a scowl on her bubblegum pink lips.
Ferris grinned as Vianna assured him that he could have the rest of the basket of bread, that he must've been starving, "Thanks gem," he murmured with a soft chuckle as he kissed her temple lovingly, taking the basket of rolls and starting on his second. Of course, he wouldn't have been able to finish off all six that were in there, but it was rather amusing to tease Vince like this. "Y'know it's funny... I've been eating like this all my life and I don't gain anything.." he muttered with mock thoughtfulness, adding this obviously just to tease Vince.

Vince's jaw dropped just slightly as Julia reminded him of what he'd had for dinner the night before. "You know perfectly well the reason for me eating all that food was the lack of a proper breakfast and lunch meal that day, Julia," Vince replied simply, his brows furrowed disapprovingly at the girl as he clearly didn't appreciate her trying to control the food he ate like this; along with pretty much everything else in his life. He didn't mind everything else, though, he could live with that. But his food? You couldn't deprive him from his favourite meals like that! "Y'know, perhaps if you spent a little more time at home and tried to make something for your boyfriend for a change, I wouldn't have to put all the meals off until dinner," he added. Another thing Julince often argued about? Julia wasn't exactly the housewife type, and her skill in the kitchen left much to be desired, especially from a boy who had grown up with a house-elf who made everything and anything he asked for; having to starve or be deprived from the foods he liked was something Vince wasn't used to. Not only that, but since the couple didn't really have a house-elf, house-cleaning was their job, and since Julia was often too busy organizing her closet and new clothes, Vince was left to clean up the rest of the house, which was... well, very un-Vince-like and something that annoyed the boy greatly. He hated cleaning, he had never been any good at it, and though he didn't want Julia to go and do all the cleaning herself either, he would prefer that she helped him rather than remind him what spots he'd missed. And so the couple sometimes argued over these sort of things, over how the young man wished his girlfriend could be a little more... 'housewifey' while Julia preferred to spend her time shopping and wasting away his money.
Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris continued teasing her brother, though it seemed Vince had no attention left for them anymore, and his gaze and attention was focused on the girl at his side instead. "Uh-oh," muttered Vianna softly, her blue eyes on the other couple though it was Ferris she was addressing when she spoke, "Here it comes... it's only a matter of seconds until the argument gets heated."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a soft chuckle as Vianna spoke to him in a soft mutter, quietly mentioning that the big argument was heating up soon. Completely amused, his brown eyes fixed on the couple across from them as he spoke to his wife in hushed voices, "Man...And I thought books were entertaining..."
Julia merely glared at her boyfriend for a long moment, seething as she listened to him remind her that he had all of that food due to the lack of a proper breakfast and lunch that day. "That's not my fault!" she retorted just before he continued, suggesting that if she spent more time at home making things for her boyfriend, he wouldn't have to put off all of his meals until dinner. Julia's jaw dropped as she took in an offended gasp far too dramatic for the situation. "You know that I can't cook with these nails on!" she hissed at him, light eyes narrowed as she crossed her arms over her chest once more. "Maybe if someone was a little nicer to his girlfriend, we wouldn't even be having this fight right now! Don't you ever think about me?" she continued, ignorant to how funny this sounded since Vince was often giving her everything her heart desired. "I don't want you to have to be fat! I'm thinking of you!"

Vianna giggled at Ferris's comment, watching with all the amusement in the world as the couple on the other side of the table began bickering the way they so often did. The girl couldn't help but feel grateful, though, that her relationship with Ferris was nothing like the relationship those two had.
Vince's jaw dropped to the floor and his dark eyebrows unfurrowed to raise instead as Julia snapped back at him, exclaiming that if perhaps he was a little nicer to her, they wouldn't be having this fight, going on to ask if he ever thought about her. "Think-- about-- you can't be serious right now!" said Vince, completely disbelieving of what his ears were hearing. Was she seriously accusing him of being an uncaring boyfriend?! "For Merlin's sake, Julia, I basically live at the resort just so you have enough money for your... fancy dresses and ridiculously expensive shoes; I even screwed up the relationship I had with my parents to be with you!" he reminded her, his blue eyes reflecting the bit of anger that was rising within him. But that always got to him, whenever Julia accused him of not caring; he knew it wasn't very fair after all the sacrifices he'd made. He sighed softly to himself then, turning his gaze away from the girl, his features seeming rather uneasy, a bit stressed. He didn't necessarily enjoy arguing with her, but sometimes she could really just get him to burst at times, and it wasn't always fun.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Julia, who was about to open her mouth and add more to her last statement, jumped slightly as Vince turned to her with genuine disbelief written on his lightly tanned features, suggesting that she couldn't have been serious. She remained silent, jaw still clenched slightly though light brown eyes uncertain as the boy at her side continued to remind her that he pratically lived at the resort just so she could have enough money for her dresses and expensive shoes; that he'd even screwed up the relationship he'd had with his parents just to be with her. Taken aback, Julia didn't seem to have words as she watched Vince turn away from her, her blonde eyebrows furrowing just slightly as his words rang through her ears. She'd never heard all of that before. Granted, she'd suggested less obviously that he didn't care before and he'd just shrugged it off or mentioned something similar to this with less than half of the emotion. But now... Well, she'd never just heard it straight out like that, hadn't necessarily been confronted by all of these things at once, and she felt the strangest sensation in the pit of her stomach...
What was that? Ugh, it was annoying! Just...sitting there and festering and growing inside of her as she watched her boyfriend turn away from her with stress written on his features. And then, moments later, she realized it was guilt. What was that doing there!? It was horrible... Of course she'd felt guilty before in her lifetime but not in a long, long time, not with her Vinciepoo treating her like a princess and catering to her every need like it wasn't a problem. But it was now that she was forced to reflect on all of the horrible moments she'd looked over before in the past few years; of how they didn't visit the Vincenzi mansion quite as much anymore, of how stressed Vince's expression got when she bought something new or brought home ten shopping bags.
And this all happened in a split second, staring ahead of herself silently before she returned her gaze to the man at her side and scooted closer to him just a bit in her seat, slipping her tanned hand into his own beneath the table. Now it's not to say that Julia's whole personality and greed sort of just poofed away in that one second. No, nothing like that. But Vince's words had brought her to a place of reflection that she hadn't anticipated and forced her into a silence. She was a greedy girlfriend with a spoiled nature, but...she wasn't heartless. And it was just now beginning to dawn on her that perhaps all of her shopping habits might be honestly upsetting to the young man who had oddly become very important to her.

Victor and Vianna seemed to have lost their amusement as they watched their brother grow honestly upset with the girl at his side. Vianna felt a little guilty for having found amusement in this earlier, whereas Victor didn't look amused, but he certainly seemed pleased. Maybe this would open up his brother's eyes and they'd get Julia out of the Vincenzi social circle once and for all.
Vince seemed not to notice his siblings' change in expressions, though. His mind wasn't really on them, and - ironically enough - he was actually starting to feel a little guilty himself. Julia was quiet, she wasn't snapping back at him, and it was something that rather startled him. Perhaps he'd been too harsh, it wasn't nice to try and make her feel guilty about things... And just as he was about to turn back to her, he felt the too familiar feel of her smaller hand wrapping around his own under the table, her presence coming closer to him on the seat. This, too, completely startled him who wasn't really used to this sort of behaviour either. He was a little more used to Julia storming off and giving him the silent treatment until he apologized or something, but at the same time it was nice to see that the girl could be considerate enough to understand when he'd had enough.
Vince returned his blue eyes to the girl at his side then, a bit of disbelief on his features though it was soon replaced by a small smile that showed how with just these gestures from her part, he'd so easily been able to wash off any anger or annoyance he might have felt earlier.
But, this was still Vince.
And he saw in Julia's guilty expression the perfect opportunity to get back to his main interest - bread rolls. Perhaps now that she was feeling bad, she would let him get away with eating a couple more. "You're looking pretty full there, Ferris Wheel, I think I'll be taking these," said the young man with a bit of a greedy grin as he took the basket of bread rolls with his free hand and brought it back to his side of the table.
Vianna, who was no longer feeling guilty after witnessing this, rolled her eyes, though there was the slightest hint of amusement returning to her expression and she looked a bit wary as well. Julince seemed to have made-up. And usually, what followed Julince making up, was a snogging session. She hoped the disturbing couple would be considerate enough to put that off until after lunch, though, as she certainly had no desire to witness anyone snogging anyone else's face off while she had food to be eaten.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I need a half hour or so Deeee! Ferris now seemed to feel as though he was intruding by watching such a scene, suddenly feeling rather out of place and a bit guilty for finding amusement from this beforehand. But he didn't really like seeing other people legitimately fight and grow upset with one another, and he seemed to feel as though he wasn't supposed to be watching, his brown eyes diverted to the tablecloth until they were done. But with these moments he couldn't help but feel rather grateful to have Vianna at his side rather than some other girl similar to Julia. He turned to his wife with a small smile, kissing her forehead lovingly before he grew distracted by Vince suddenly addressing him, suggesting that he looked rather full and stealing away his basket of rolls. "He took my carbs," Ferris murmured with mock disbelief in his tones to the girl at his side, playfully looking like a little kid who'd had his candy taken away by a bully.
Julia watched with still slightly narrowed eyes as Vince grabbed the rolls from Ferris, watching him for a moment before grabbing a roll and setting it on his plate. "One," she decided, hoping he wouldn't turn his shockingly blue eyes on her as he sometimes did.

ooc: Ok
Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris mentioned that Vince had stolen his carbs, amused by the mock disbelieving expression on her husband's features. "Well, maybe it's a good thing. I wouldn't want you getting fat," Vianna replied playfully before chuckling softly once more, amused.
Vince looked quite pleased as Julia allowed him to have one roll, watching with nearly sparkling blue eyes as she set the appetizer on his plate. However, he didn't really have much of a chance to admire this or even get started on it as, just a moment later, their young waiter arrived and he was setting the plates with everyone's food on the table, causing the Vincenzis - who were all rather hungry - to beam brightly, all obviously quite pleased to finally receive the food they had ordered. On Fervi's side of the table were two large plates filled with pasta carbonara, which consisted of spaghetti covered in a garlic-parmesan cream sauce, green peas, and bits of smoked bacon. The only difference between the two plates was that Ferris's had chicken in it as well.
Julince's plates were different from Fervi's; Julia's own medium-sized plate was filled with pasta marinara, which was just your traditional spaghetti covered in red tomato sauce; whereas Vince had ordered a couple different plates, one with chicken cannelloni and the other with his favourite linguine frutti di mare, which was a slightly more seafood-ish dish.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I assume we might want to just skip through their eating and onto when their exiting the restaurant? Ferris's jaw dropped as Vianna suggested that perhaps Vince taking away his carbs was good as she didn't want him getting fat, "Vi!" he complanied with pure amusement sparkling behind his gaze. "Don't turn into that!" he grumbled teasingly, slipping an arm around around her and pulling the girl into his side with a soft chuckle. "You've gotta stay my Vi," he grumbled to her ear, kissing her cheek before shaking his head just slightly and allowing a soft smile to come aross his expression. But he quickly grew distracted as their food arrived, retrieving his arm from around his wife to help the waiter set the plate down in front of him. Hunger taking over most other thoughts, the young man quickly began to dig into what looked like an amazing meal.
Julia curiously examined the plate that was set before her, light brown eyes scanning it for a moment as though to figure out what exactly she was eating. But it was quite obviously close to spaghetti and so she began to eat daintily, very different from the young men at the table who were eating at a speedy pace.

"Vi, don't be a bore, we're not going back to the suite," Vince complained as the group walked back into the piazza after finishing their meals in the restaurant, everyone happy to have a full tummy. Vianna had been eager to head back to the suite and get in touch with her mother after they were done eating, but it seemed neither one of her brothers was willing to be on her side this time. But they had just arrived to Rome a couple hours ago, they didn't want to be heading back to the suite so soon, they wanted to roam around and take in the sights, do more tourist-y stuff.
"But... don't you guys want to know how the kids are doing?" asked Vianna, her forehead beginning to crease slightly.
"Of course we do, Vi, but we only left them a couple hours ago; it's still early," said Victor, giving his little sister a sympathetic look. "I'm sure Mum and Mrs. Montgomery are doing a great job taking care of them," he assured the girl.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a faint smile as Vianna protested against what her brothers wanted, pleading her case that she wanted to go back to the suite in order to check up on Gabe and being left with the response that it was still too early to go back. The young man slipped his hand back around his wife's, pulling her over to himself with a warm, reassuring smile on his pale face, "He's gonna be just fine, gem," he promised his wife though he himself was rather anxious to find out what Gabe was up to, if he was eating like he was supposed to and if they knew which argyle sweater of his father's to give him when he took a nap. All of those little things had begun to pop into his head during the group's lunch but at this moment he felt the need to push them away and ease Vianna's mind for a moment. He kept her at his side with a soft smile, brown eyes watching her for a moment, "Where's that girl that was convincing me into this, this morning?" he asked her playfully, referring to all of the positive things she'd been saying about how Gabe needed time away from them.

Vianna gave a small smile as Ferris assured her that Gabe would be just fine, before he then went on to ask where the girl that was convincing him into this that morning had gone. Vianna chuckled softly at this, her blue eyes falling to the ground absentmindedly as they walked. "She's here," she replied softly. "Just... having a hard time not thinking about Gabe," she added, looking up again and flashing her husband a smile.
Vince couldn't help but be a little amused by his sister's behaviour; she was turning into such a typical mum already, it was kind of funny to him. "Well, I promised Jules to take her dress-shopping to the boutiques, so--"
"What? No, no, we're supposed to do this as a group," Victor quickly interrupted. "What would you guys like to see first? The Colosseum? Trevi fountain? Villa Borghese?" he suggested, seeing that he was turning out to be the tour guide in this little trip. He didn't even understand how it happened, but for some reason Victor almost always ended up being the leader of the group in some way, the one to gather them all and tell them where to go next. For someone as bossy as him, this came naturally, though it wasn't always fun. He wanted the group to do something they could all enjoy, not something only he wanted to do.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor "Trust me, I understand," the young man murmured with an amused smile as Vianna spoke, explaining that the girl from this morning was still there, just having trouble keeping her mind off of Gabe. "I've been thinking about him a bit too..." Ferris admitted with a soft smile before turning his attention to Vince and Victor as they began to talk about where the group was headed. His eyebrows rose slightly at their options, listening as Victor began to list off the many sights and attractions that they could go visit that day. "Anywhere's fine with me," he assured them with a small smile and a shrug, honestly not having much of an opinion on the matter.
Julia, however, did. As much as she wanted to see Rome, she didn't want to see it while walking around, getting all sweaty and gross with all the tourists around Rome. Ew. No, she much preferred the idea Vince had of wandering in and out of boutiques, seeing Rome's shopping streets which must've been less crowded. But after Vince's comments in the restaurant she couldn't help but be a bit hesitant to shop as well, knowing that it was aggravating to him more than she'd ever realized. And so she decided that she'd shop; but less than normally. "Are there boutiques near any of these?" she asked with a raise of her blonde eyebrows.

ooc: We need to figure out an excuse to separate the group :hmmm:
"No," Victor replied flatly to Julia's question.
Vince gave his brother a look, though by now he was used to his cold behaviour toward Julia (and for once he understood how Vianna might have felt so many years ago when he and Victor tried to make her relationship with Ferris impossible, though it had been a lot worse for her than it was for him with Julia right now). "We have two days, we can go sightseeing and shopping, it's just a matter of choosing which to do first," said Vince.
"Well, thank you for your input, Montgomery," said Victor a bit sarcastically as Ferris shared he had no preference, something which wasn't really helping their case of indecision much. The young man sighed then, something that resembled defeat in his voice. "What about the Cripta dei Cappuccini, then? There's plenty of shops around that area."
Vianna's features twisted at this suggestion into a look of disgust. "Victor, we just ate! And I didn't come all the way here to see dead people!" she said, honestly not at all amused by the idea of going to see mummies. Just the thought of it got her to shudder slightly; she'd never been a big fan of those museums.
"Alright, what about the Fontana di Trevi? That piazza is surrounded with shops," suggested Vince with a small smile. "Boutiques for Julia, broomshops for Vi, antiques for Victor, and... uh... bookstores for Ferris," Vince finished a little unsurely, his brows furrowed slightly.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Bahaha yeah I know ![LMAO!](https://www.snitchseeker.com/images/smilies/lmao.gif) Ferris merely rolled his eyes as Victor spoke, sarcastically thanking him for all of his helpful input before going back to his brainstorming. The young man just stood by Vianna rather awkwardly, honestly not having much of a preference as he watched Vince suggest that perhaps they go see the Fontana di Trevi as there was plenty of shops around there for everyone.
"As long as I don't have to be in this heat much longer," Julia grumbled as she flipped her long blonde hair behind her shoulder, resting her weight on the other foot as she thought about the prospect of going into a tourist-filled area of shops. "Wait--How many tourists are we talking about here?"
Ferris let out a sigh at Julia's indecisive responses and turned to Vianna with an amused smile that clearly said, 'We're not getting anywhere anytime soon, are we?'.

"Uh... a couple... hundred? Thousands?" Vince replied as Julia asked how many tourists would be around the piazza, something he obviously didn't know the exact answer to, but... he knew there would be a lot; this was only one of Rome's most famous tourist attractions, after all.
"I really like the idea of visiting the Villa Borghese gardens, it's nice there," muttered Vianna thoughtfully, just throwing her suggestion out there as everyone seemed so torn on where to go first. "And it's got less tourists than the fountain," she added. "Oooh, the fountain's specially nice at night! We should leave it for later tonight, no?"
"Vi's right," started Victor, "We could leave the fontana for tonight, and..." he trailed off, his gaze lingering over the couple standing before him. Fervi clearly had no preference on where they wanted to go, he and Airi were just looking to do something everyone would enjoy, and the only ones who seemed completely decided on what they wanted to do were Julince.
Victor sighed in defeat.
"We'll visit the fontana tonight and go... to the boutiques for now," he decided with a sigh, almost as if this was something horrible they were all about to go and experience.
Vince grinned; he clearly didn't care for shopping, but he was glad he could keep his promise to Julia of taking her to the boutiques, even if this meant the rest of the group had to be dragged along as well. The girls probably wouldn't mind too much (well, maybe except Vianna), but the guys... well, this trip wasn't too fun anymore, now was it?

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's expression fell substantially as the final decision was that they'd go to the fountain later that night and just go to the boutiques for now. The boutiques?! They were spending one of their only days in Rome wandering around snobby stores that catered to girls like Julia?! Julia squealed and jumped up and down at the final decision, turning to Vince with glimmering light brown eyes as though he had fought off dragons for her right to go shopping rather than an actual discussion being had by the entire group.
Despite the fact that he very clearly did not want to go, Ferris had every intention of keeping his mouth shut, not wanting to be rude. But he then caught Victor's expression and quickly understood that he wasn't the only one not up for this plan. "Well...maybe we should split up?" he suggested softly once more, even though Victor had already mentioned that they shouldn't go separate ways (he figured his mind might've been changed with the final decision that had been made). "Some of us could go shopping and others could go to the gardens or something, and we could meet up at the fountain in the early evening?" he suggested, obviously referring to the idea of maybe taking Vianna, Victor, and Airi elsewhere rather than the boutiques.
Julia, however, seemed to take this suggestion differently. She gasped loudly and clapped her hands, "You mean like a girls' day?!" she said with excited light brown eyes, obviously taking Ferris's words to mean that the girls would separate from the guys.

Vianna, too, didn't look too terribly thrilled with the idea of spending part of her trip visiting boutiques and looking at dresses she didn't care for, and she had every intention to find a way to sneak out of these unpleasant shops and visit a broom store or something of the sort instead. But this was Vianna, after all; she had always preferred brooms and Quidditch and sports to dresses and shoes.
However, all of Vianna's hopes were ruined as Julia suddenly began to clap her hands excitedly, suggesting the idea of a girls' day. Her blue eyes widened at this - a girls' day?! As in... a day with just Julia and Airi!? Vianna didn't mind Airi in the slightest, of course, but... Julia? Really? "Oh... I--I don't know..." Vianna gave a flustered soft chuckle, not wanting to be rude and reject Julia's idea, but not wanting to go along with it either. "I kind of... Ferris and I kind of wanted to visit the gard--"
"I think that's a great idea, actually," Vince decided. Of course, he was only trying to save his own neck here. The last thing he wanted to spend his vacation time on was dress-shopping, and he knew that if the girls accompanied Julia, he could get out of having to go into the shops with her. This was perfect! "Vi would love to come along, Jules," decided Vince, as if Vianna had already spoken with him about this and given him a yes. "And Airi would too, I'm sure. It'll be great, you girls barely get to really spend any time together, you'll have fun."
Vianna's jaw dropped to the floor. That--that-- that damn Vince! He knew perfectly well the last thing she wanted was to go dress-shopping with his bubbly, bleached blonde girlfriend! But, of course, he'd rather sacrifice his little sister than face this torture himself. "Vince, I never..." Vianna trailed off. She knew she'd come off as completely rude if she blew Julia off, but she reaaally didn't want to do this. However, the way her brothers' eyes were basically burning a hole in her head, the girl wasn't left much of a choice. It was either sacrificing half of her day with Julia or dealing with their nagging and whining for the rest of the trip; and boy, did her stupid brothers know how to do just that perfectly.
"Fine..." Vianna muttered with a sigh of defeat, causing bright smiles to adorn her brothers' faces - Vince happy that he didn't have to accompany Julia on such a boring activity, and Victor glad that he could finally get his brother's girlfriend out of his sight.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's eyes widened as Julia immediately took his idea the wrong way, listening as Vince decided that this was a great idea and answering for Vianna, giving Julia a yes to this idea. "W-Well, I dunno if that's the best..." but he had to trail off in his defense as Julia cornered him with excited light brown eyes. "She should really come with us, I think.." he tried once more but it was no use. There was no getting past Vince, Victor, and Julia's incessant stares that so wanted Vianna to take the place of Vince in this situation. And before he could do anything else, Vianna had very reluctantly agreed to this, finalizing the deal that would make the girls hang out with the girls and the boys all stuck together.
Wait. The boys all stuck together?! It was at that moment that Ferris realized his fate, beginning to come to terms with the fact that he was going to be spending the afternoon with the two Vincenzi brothers. And no one else. Suddenly his eyes widened and he pulled Vianna closer to himself, as though both using her as a shield and protecting her from Julia who was now bouncing up and down once more.
After retrieving a pouch of money from her boyfriend, Julia kissed his cheek with a grin and started over towards Vianna, attempting to take her hand and pry her away from the husband who was very concerned with keeping his wife at his side.

Vianna turned to the young man at her side and gave him a small, apologetic smile, though at the same time her blue eyes looked rather pleading, as if almost begging him silently to get her out of this situation she so desperately didn't want to be stuck in. However, all hope was lost for the girl as Julia took her free hand and began dragging her away, while Vianna's other hand was still wrapped around Ferris's. She had to release him, though, if she didn't want to end up torn in two. "We'll be back soon, Professor, I promise," Vianna assured him, leaning on her toes and pecking his lips gently before she was almost forcefully pulled away by an excited Julia.
Vince and Victor couldn't look any happier. This plan had worked perfectly and they were now free to do as they wished, to spend their first day in Rome in whatever way they wanted, without having to worry about Julia whining over the hot weather or her heels killing her. But it seemed that, after a moment of triumph, the brothers remembered they were not alone. Ferris was still around, and the three of them were left to spend this afternoon together.
The Vincenzi boys exchanged glances, identical smirks beginning to curve their lips as they returned their identical blue eyes to the tall, pale, Englishman they'd been left with. "Don't look so down, Ferris Wheel," started Vince with fake sympathy, "I'm sure Vi will remember to get you a dress or two. She's a very considerate person, y'know."
"And I'm sure Julia will remind her to get you some matching shoes to go with your new dresses as well," Victor added, an amused smile adorning his otherwise rather cold and unfriendly expression.
