Default That Summer - V.5!

This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris sighed as Mrs. Vincenzi reminded them that they only had two minutes left before they had to be at the meeting place, giving a brief nod acceptingly as he turned to pick up their suitcase. But before he could even fully bend over he caught sight of the most heart breaking thing he'd ever witnessed; Gabe was reaching out to them, wanting to be held and adored as he so often was by his parents. "Gabe..." the young man murmured with furrowed brows as he quickly straightened up and came closer to his wife's side, right before Gabe's bright blue eyes. And there was that little face, looking at them innocently as his chubby little arms reached out to his parents, practically begging to be held. Before he could do it himself, Vianna had picked up their baby boy into her arms and decided that the others could wait a couple more minutes, bringing Gabe over to his parents and speaking to him sweetly in Italian as she kissed his cheek. "My poor little baby boy..." Ferris murmured sweetly to little Gabe, immediately kissing his little chubby cheek lovingly as the baby reached out to them and placed a hand on each of their faces in one place or another, obviously enjoying this attention from the two people he knew best. How could they just leave him here!? He wanted them, he needed to be with his parents! And it was quite obvious that Ferris had never been more reluctant to leave his own home.

Mrs. Vincenzi sighed softly and smiled faintly at the sight. "Y'know, you don't want Gabe to become too attached either, he'll be thirty and living in your basement," said Mrs. Vincenzi, just throwing more reasons out there as to why the couple should take this trip, since she was beginning to get the feeling Fervi were close to backing out.

But Vianna paid no attention to her mother's warnings, all of her focus on this adorable, precious little baby who was smiling so joyously at them, looking beyond thrilled to be with his parents once more, to be loved and adored and spoiled as he so clearly enjoyed. "I'm sorry your grannies are taking us away from you, Gabie," the girl said softly, playfully, "But I promise we'll be back very soon, and we'll bring you presents," the girl assured the little one, as if he even understood what was being said to him.

Ferris tried his best to ignore Mrs. Vincenzi as well, though out of politeness flashed her a weak smile before returning his attention to Gabe as his wife promised to be back soon and bring presents. "Yes, Gabie, we'll be back very soon, alright?" he added onto this promise as though Gabe would care that both of his parents had made this promise and trusted them now that they had given him his word. But finally, the young man became aware of his mother flashing him a look of amused impatience and he realized that it was time for them to release their baby boy for the weekend. Plus, if they didn't let him go now they might just back out and stay. "C'mon Vi, let's go," he muttered reluctantly as he gently took Gabe from his wife and handed him back to his mother, kissing Gabe's cheek once more and allowing his wife to do the same before taking a step back and picking up their suitcase along with Vianna's hand. "Would you like to do the honours?" he asked her with a weak smile, referring to apparating them as he didn't particularly know exactly where they were going. Vianna had been the one to speak directly with her brothers on the matter and he never knew the exact location in Rome that they were headed for.

Vianna gave a weak smile as she reluctantly handed little Gabe over to her husband who then passed the baby onto his mother, a soft sigh escaping her lips. She had not expected her first weekend away from their baby to be this difficult, she had become much more attached to him than she even thought possible. However, the girl was snapped out of thoughts as Ferris spoke once more, reminding the girl that they needed to get going. Vianna nodded her head slightly, reluctance still in her gestures though she made no complaints. "We'll see you two in a couple of days, then," she said to both her mother and Mrs. Montgomery, giving them both small smiles before turning to Ferris as he asked her to apparate the two of them. The girl chuckled softly and shook her head slightly. "We're getting there by floo, actually," she said to the young man, leading the way over to the large fireplace in the living room then. "Ready?" she asked after taking a handful of floo powder into her free hand and stepping into the fireplace, her blue eyes a little saddened as Gabe watched his parents step into the fireplace with curiosity in his gaze.

Ferris gave a sheepish smile as his wife informed him that they were travelling by floo, quickly following her over to the fireplace and stepping in at her side, having to crouch down just slightly to avoid his head being hit. He gave a brief nod as she asked if he was ready, his brown eyes trying to go anywhere but the baby that they were leaving behind, trying their best to stay on the wooden floors. But he didn't want to have to see that adorable little face staring at them as though he knew that he was being cheated out of a weekend with his parents. They'd promised to spend the weekend with him and now they weren't, which mattered much more than expected to the young man who was fully aware that Gabe was none the wiser of this promise. And despite his attempts, his brown eyes fell onto that little face just as they disappeared into green flames.

The couple disappeared into a fire of green flames, only to reappear a brief second later in a new location - Rome, Italy.
Vianna coughed softly to herself as the green flames disappeared from around them and they were showered with a light layer of ashes. As the girl's crystal blue eyes opened and she stepped out of the fireplace, she found herself in a suite showered in the golden morning light of the clear Italian skies. They had walked out into the living room of the suite, their footsteps echoing on the polished parquet wood floors, on which reflected the clearly expensive furniture that made up the living room, along with the detailed sculptures, some small and adorning the tables, and others tall enough to stand on their own. The ceiling was quite high (magically made to appear so), and there were detailed frescos adorning the surface to resemble those that were so well-known of churches all around Italy (though these weren't made to hold any religious meaning and were just a form of art, a decoration).
Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as she gazed around for a moment before walking over to her far right, where the entire wall of the suite was made up entirely of just glass, offering a view to one of Rome's main, central piazzas, and allowing a very generous amount of golden morning light to shower all the furniture in the room and reflect off the polished floors. Vianna couldn't help but smile at the sight as she gazed down, it was so... well, Italian. She hadn't really had a chance to be in an Italian town in a while; usually when she came, it was just over to her parents' home.

"Wow..." she muttered softly to herself, then turning back to her husband with a bright smile. "Come see, Professor," she said softly.

Ferris had to duck his head as he exited this new fireplace, his brown eyes squinted shut as he tried to block all of the dust out of his eyes. But the second he stepped onto the hardwood floors he had returned to his full height and allowed his dark brown eyes to open, met with the sight of the most lavish hotel room that he'd ever stepped foot in. His eyebrows rose immediately, releasing Vianna's hand as she wandered elsewhere and allowed him a moment to scan over his surroundings and take in the expensive furnishings. Where exactly had they just flooed into?! Well, of course he knew it was Rome, but he wasn't necessarily thinking of the physical location but rather the monetary bracket they'd just entered. This living room was larger than half of their home! He was snapped out of his disbelieving observations as Vianna spoke, asking him to come see something from elsewhere in the room. Ferris turned his head in the direction of his wife's sweet voice, now taking in the source of all of the light that had been filling the room as his gaze fell to the wall of windows to his right. Eyebrows raising once more, he walked over to Vianna's side as his brown eyes scanned the view silently, his expression rather dumbstruck as he took in the beautiful Italian view right before them. "This place sure is something," he muttered with a weak chuckle, turning to his wife with an amused smile.

Vianna laughed lightly at Ferris's comment, amused by the way he seemed impressed with the suite itself while she seemed a little more impressed with the view it offered. But Vianna was used to this kind of luxury, and it didn't surprise her in the slightest that her brothers had chosen a suite like this one to spend their short vacation in; it was very typical-Vincenzi of them. It was this thought, though, that reminded the girl they weren't here alone. Or, at least, they weren't supposed to be. She turned away from the glass wall then and glanced around the large room, spotting a hallway just to the couple's left, lit by the lamps hanging from the ceiling. Assuming this must've led to the bedrooms, Vianna was just about to make her way there when two things happened - the first was someone walking out of a pair of double-doors (of polished wood that matched the same tones as the floors) from the hallway, someone the girl immediately recognized to be her oldest brother. And just a second after his arrival, the fireplace suddenly filled with green flames, and from it emerged a coughing Vince accompanied by his girlfriend Julia.

Vianna beamed at the sight of her brothers, honestly having missed them since the last time she saw them a few months ago during Christmas. She still saw them through mirrors and kept in touch with them through letters, of course, but she hadn't really been in their presence in months. Grinning excitedly, the girl made her way over to Victor first, who had walked out to the living room now, and greeted the young man with a tight, welcoming hug which he returned just as enthusiastically, the brightest of smiles adorning his lightly tanned face. After releasing him, Vianna gave Airi a hug just as friendly as the one she'd given her brother before moving on to do the same to Vince, who took this opportunity to return the hug just as excitedly, picking his little sister about a foot off the wooden floors. "Vi!"
As the young man released her, Vianna turned to Julia, turning a little hesitant now. She liked Julia, sure, but she wasn't sure if a tight hug would be the appropriate way to greet the girl. "It's nice to see you again, Julia," Vianna said politely, flashing the girl a friendly smile.

"Sorry we're late, Jules decided at the last minute she didn't like her wardrobe and wanted to get something new before coming," said Vince with a small smile, something to which Victor resisted the urge to make a comment at. Ever since Vince had introduced Julia to the family, the two brothers bickered a little more often than usual, and usually for the same reason - Julia. Victor didn't like the girl one bit, and Vince obviously took offense in this. Vianna hoped this wouldn't ruin their little vacation, though.

Ferris, who had been observing his wife with sparkling brown eyes as she observed the room, was rattled out of his daze as sounds began to fill the room; the sounds of a door opening and someone coming in through the fireplace. The young man quickly turned away from the windows, immediately taking in the sight of the Vincenzi brothers and their wife/girlfriends, his hands immediately going into his pockets as he remained silent for a moment. But he'd never been the one to excitedly jump in for the greetings and (as per usual) remained awkwardly on the sidelines for a moment as Vianna did her greetings, unsure what to do with himself, especially around her brothers. It wasn't that he didn't like Vince and Victor, or had any harsh feelings against them, it was nothing like that. Sure, their relationship hadn't exactly started out smoothly and they'd had a lot of misunderstandings, but in the past few years they'd obviously become more comfortable with one another. There were no real sharp or mean feelings that filled the air and they could actually be fairly friendly in most senses of the word, but...still. They were Vince and Victor and Ferris was...well, he was Ferris. Their personalities were so extraordinarily different that it was pretty much impossible for the young men to be close best friends or anything of the sort. No, they just managed to become minorly friendly acquaintances and nothing more. And to be honest, Ferris was a tiny bit still intimidated by them from time to time, as this feeling had sort of been engrained in him from his early days with Vianna.

Julia, however, seemed in no shy mood as she gazed around at her surroundings with clear awe and excitement on her tanned expression, eyes lighting up as she took in the sight of the expensive furnishings. She only snapped out of her examination of the trinket on the mantel when Vianna came up to her and announced that it was nice to see her again. Blonde eyebrows raising slightly with surprise at the sight of her, a small smile crept onto her features, coated in a thin cover of bubblegum pink lip gloss (a shade that was curiously smeared messily on Vince's cheekbone...) as she looked down at the girl a good few inches shorter than herself due to the heels she was currently sporting. "Vianna!" she squealed as though they'd been the bestest of friends since birth. "You look so..." her eyes scanned Vianna's sundress for a moment, mouth open just slightly as she tried to find a word to do this look justice. "...cute!" But the way she said it seemed far from any form of flattery, her volume fading just slightly as she let out her 'compliment' to the girl before her. But just a second later she was enveloping her nearly-sister-in-law in a hug with another smile, clouding the both of them in a mass of the tiny-bit-too-sweet perfume that Julia enjoyed dousing on each morning.

As they pulled back and she released Vianna from her tanned grasp, she listened as Vince then mentioned that they were late because she had wanted a change of wardrobe. "It was a hard decision! And I just couldn't choose between four different bathing suits, so I brought all of them," she explained with a shrug and a bit of a grin as she plopped down onto the couch. "Oh, hi Fer!" she said with an absentminded wave of her hand as she noticed the young man standing off to the side.

Ferris gave a nod as his brows furrowed slightly and he flashed her a weak smile. "Julia.." he murmured with a soft sigh, obviously not too appreciative of the fact that his poor wife had to endure a hug from the tanned monster. And that compliment! What kind of compliment was that?! Calling his wife cute like that! Honestly... The young man quickly returned to Vianna's side and took her hand as though to protect her from any further Julia-encounters, quickly turning to look at each of the brothers, "Victor, Airi, Vince," he said with a bit of a nod to each, flashing them a small smile and hoping that they understood how awkward he was with greetings.

Vianna could only manage a weak smile as Julia hugged her tightly with clearly fake excitement, listening as the girl then 'complimented' her on the way she looked. The slightly shorter girl gave a brief chuckle, well aware that this was no honest compliment, but taking no offense in it either. "Thank you, Julia, you look quite nice yourself," she replied politely, her weak smile turning a little friendlier before Ferris then joined her side, her hand glad to be back in his own.

Vince gave an amused smile as Julia explained how horribly difficult it had been to choose between bathing suits, while the oldest Vincenzi merely ignored her, obviously not amused or endeared by this as his brother seemed to be. The two young men were soon distracted from the blonde girl as Ferris spoke, greeting them each with a mention of their names. "Oh hey, Ferris Wheel. Didn't see you there," said Vince with a grin, as if Ferris was standing somewhere far in a corner rather than right in front of him.

"Well, now that we're all here…" Victor pulled out his wand, and with just one brief wave of it, everyone's luggage disappeared, only to re-appear in its corresponding bedrooms. "Anyone hungry?"

"I'm starving," Vince replied almost right away, always having been the one to think with his stomach rather than his head. But the poor boy hadn't really had a chance to have a proper breakfast that morning, and his stomach was rather upset with him for it, demanding to be fed. It was clear, though, that neither one of the Vincenzi brothers had much intention to take a tour of the suite and settle in first; they wanted to be out and about already, and little did Fervi know what awaited them for the rest of that day.

Ferris gave a weak chuckle as Vince mentioned having not seen him there for a moment, giving a brief nod before turning his brown eyes back to Vianna and allowing a more genuine smile to cross his features. He shared a glance with her that so clearly meant 'We're not in Kansas anymore' before turning back to the group as Victor asked if anyone was hungry. Suddenly realizing that he had a stomach once more, the young man recognized his own hunger just as Vince announced his own to the world. "I wouldn't mind some food," he agreed with a soft smile and a nod.

Julia beamed up at her boyfriend with a weird sort of endearment in her gaze, her eyes flickering from him to her nails and then back to him for a couple moments. "My poor Vincie hasn't had anything to eat all morning," she announced with an overdramatic sigh, as though Vince's stomach was something worthy of media coverage. She grabbed the hand of the still standing boy with one of her own, her fake nails gentle though firm as she brought him down on the couch next to herself. "Just don't let him eat too many carbs," she announced to the group as though her boyfriend was her lap dog rather than another human being. Upon receiving blank stares in return, her blonde eyebrows rose slightly and she elaborated, "He'll get fat?" she explained as though it was obvious. And though the girl seemed to care very much about what went into her boyfriend, when it actually came to eating she found it hard to just not allow him to eat whatever he wanted. She'd sort of grown to realize how much he enjoyed food (especially the carb-filled pastas and lasagnas that were so common to his Italian roots) and so she'd announce these warnings but rarely enforce them, hardly realizing that she wasn't cracking down the whip as she did on so many other levels of their relationship.

Ferris's eyebrows rose at this request and turned to his wife with an amused smile, leaning towards her ear and softly murmuring without the others noticing. "Thank you for never counting my carbs," he muttered playfully with a soft chuckle, brown eyes obviously entertained by Vince's girlfriend's warnings on the food he ate.

ooc: Julia's posts slay me every time...

Victor smiled faintly as everyone voiced their need to have food (or rather, just the guys), and just as he was about to lead them through the living room and into the entrance hall of the suite, Julia spoke, announcing that her 'poor Vincie' hadn't had anything to eat all morning before pretty much just dragging the boy down onto the couch to sit beside her. He plopped down with a bit of a goofy grin, a rather sad sight for both Victor and Vianna who couldn't help feeling a bit of pity for their brother's fate. This was not the same Vince they had grown up with, this was… some tamed, carefully molded version of him that had no backbone; Vianna was mostly just a little sympathetic of this, while Victor took it a little more seriously and found himself even a little offended by the way a member of his family had been changed by his barbie-doll girlfriend.

But then Julia spoke once more, announcing to the group that Vince was not allowed to have carbs, as that would make him fat. Vianna, from her spot beside Ferris, snorted to herself in an attempt to contain her laughter, while Victor just looked like someone had just thrown a brick straight at his head. "You've got to be joking," Victor muttered under his breath, mostly to himself, a hint of disbelief on his otherwise cold and stony expression. This was absolutely ridiculous, this girl had turned his brother not only into her own personal house-elf but a lapdog as well!

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris then whispered into her ear, nudging the boy gently with her elbow in a silent request for him to stop amusing her as she was clearly having a very difficult time not laughing at this overall situation, her face slowly turning a very light shade of pink.

"You're asking this of us because… you're not coming to do it yourself, Julia?" Victor asked, and though he sounded just polite to most, Vince and Vianna were able to read the hopefulness in his voice (something for which Vince threw him a pointed look). However, before the girl could reply, he was already jumping into conclusions. "That's a shame, but I'm sure this would give you more time to organize your... bathing suits."

"What?" Vince looked a little startled now, as if he was just realizing what was going on, turning his blue-eyed gaze to the girl at his side. "You're not really planning to stay here by yourself, are you?" he asked, brows furrowed in confusion.

OOC: Bahahahaha I'm lovin it tooo...

Julia's blonde eyebrows rose once more as Victor spoke, asking if she was requesting this of them because she wasn't accompanying them herself, apparently making this decision already and adding that it would give her more time to organize her bathing suits. "What? I wasn't planning on staying here... I was just mentioning it to the group in case he tries to sneak off with any rolls," she explained innocently, saying this as though roll-snatching was something Vince was notorious for. But really, food was the thing that Julia was very flexible with when it came to her Vinciepoo. She's warn him about it just for the sake of her concious and 'better' judgement but just never had the heart to truly go about enforcing it. The girl seemed completely oblivious to Victor's rather obvious jabs to get her away from the group, turning to Vince as he asked her if she was truly planning to stay behind. "I dunno, snickers. Do you want me to come?" she asked her boyfriend with twinkling light brown eyes, a very cheesed up version of some loving glance that might've been shared by a normal couple.

Ferris had to literally force a cough in order to keep his laugh from being noticeable the second the word 'snickers' had left Julia's glossed lips.

Vianna watched the scene unfolding before her eyes with all the amusement in the world on her features. It seemed she and Ferris (well and probably Airi too) were the only normal people in this room and their job was simply to grow amused by the acts of the other three, especially by Julince.

Vince wasn't so amused, though, and he seemed even a little worried as Julia asked if he wanted her to come along, as if she even had to ask in the first place. "Of course I do, Jules," the boy confessed honestly (much to Victor's disappointment), flashing his girlfriend a genuine smile that showed how he really wanted her around, really enjoyed her company. But even if all the couple did was bicker (when they weren't snogging), Vince enjoyed Julia's company more than anything else in the world. To him, she was full of surprises, someone interesting and fascinating, someone he could never grow bored of, and it was something he hadn't ever really felt before with any other girl. It was still so new to him, this concept of 'love', and so he was still rather fascinated by it all, by how wonderful it felt and how deprived he had been of it all these years.
Again, this was a zombie version of the Vince Vincenzi Vianna and Victor had grown up with, and that look in his eyes only caused two reactions from his siblings: disgust from Victor's part and amusement from Vianna's.

"Well," started Vianna after a moment's silence, "We should get going, then. I'm rather hungry myself, mum and Genny didn't really give us much of a chance to have breakfast this morning," she said with a small smile, remembering that morning's scene in her mind, though her smile fell slightly as she remembered her baby boy, how she'd had to leave him behind and break the promise they'd made to him of spending the week with him, of taking him out for the first time.

Julia's expression immediately lit up with the warmest of smiles as the boy at her side admitted honestly that he wanted her to come along, something that she couldn't bring herself to doubt the second he stated it. And it was true that they enjoyed each other's company in a very strange, unusual way; it was just how they worked. Sure, it was fun to have someone to boss around from time to time and help pshhhyeahrightvincepaysformostofeverything her pay for things, but...she really just liked his company. She liked that he listened to her and he made her laugh with the things he said, how naturally sweet and innocent he could be to her, and she liked that he seemed to love her company just as much as she loved his own. And at the end of the day, it was Vince that she was talking to about anything and everything that could possibly pop into her perfume-clouded mind; and he listened. Or fell asleep, either one. "Okay, then I'm coming!" she announced with a grin, releasing her boyfriend's hand in order to clap her tanned hands together a couple times as she bounced with excitement.

Ferris's eyebrows rose at this, a mixture of amusement and disturbance on his expression before he listened to his wife suggest that they get going as she was rather hungry. "Yes. Food," he agreed with a soft chuckle, intwining their fingers as the group headed out of the hotel room and towards the direction of some form of food.

Victor merely rolled his crystal blue eyes as Julia cheered happily that she was, unfortunately for him, coming along for the ride. He was distracted, though, as Vianna and Ferris suggest they get going already, something to which he nodded his head slightly before beginning to lead the group out of the suite, with his short little Airi at his side, always such a great contrast to the young man as she was always just naturally sweet and kind-hearted and soft-spoken, whereas Victor couldn't really pull off the I'm-so-friendly-and-kind look even if he tried.

Vince gave a soft chuckle at Julia's excitement, getting up to his feet as the others began to file out of the suite, offering the girl at his side his hand and then joining the others with her at his side, his hand intwined around her own equally tanned one. Victor and Airi led the group into the large elevator, down to the nearly sparkling lobby that was decorated just as elegantly as the suite itself, and out into the fresh morning air of one of Italy's most famous and well-known cities. Vianna beamed at the sight of the busy piazza they had walked out into, admiring the way the birds gathered around the fountain, where tourists would take a rest and throw bits of food at the little animals, who would every now and then be scared off by a child running right through their little army, which created a nice effect of dozens of identical birds all flying off into the blue sky in unison, naturally uniformed, leaving a large shadow on the ground.

"What are you lot craving?" asked Victor as he turned to the group while they walked. "There's plenty of pla--"

"Italian," both Vince and Vianna replied in unison, before then turning to their respective significant others. "What would you like?" they asked their company, Vianna to Ferris and Vince to Julia.

OOC: I'm off for now Dee Deruperssss! Seee you tomorrroowwwww!!!!!

Ferris's dark brown eyes scanned the piazza with clear awe behind his gaze, his expression turning rather impressed as he took in the sight covered in the golden sunlight currenly beating down on the group of couples. Julia, for once, seemed uninterested in her nails as her light brown eyes stared out at everything, her glossed mouth shut for a first as well. But this was something she hadn't really gotten the pleasure of doing before; just traveling on a whim. Granted, she'd been to the Vincenzis' mansion and a good few places in England, but she'd never actually vacationed into another country like this. And as airheaded as that girl could seem, she also had always admired different countries for various reasons besides their fashion (though her gaze did drift to the sight of the boutiques around the piazza). And she seemed genuinely interested as she walked alongside her boyfriend, just a few inches shorter than him due to the size of the heel on her shoes, holding onto him for dear life on those cobblestones.

But both Ferris and Julia were snapped out of their reveries as Victor asked what they were craving, to which the people at their sides immediately answered with the idea of Italian.

As Vince turned to her, Julia gave a faint smile and a shrug, for once seeming to not have an opinion on it as she realized this might be something her Vinciepoo was more accustomed to; this whole...Italian thing. "I'll have whatever you're having," she decided absentmindedly, unaware of how weird this might've been considering the fact that she nearly always wanted some type of food that he didn't. But here it was different and she wanted to see what the real food was like, to have that little bit of experience. And if she hated it, she could blame Vince later.

Ferris turned to Vianna with a warm smile as she brought her blue eyes over to him, asking what he wanted. "I could definitely go for some Italian," he agreed softly with a nod, dimples coming out of hiding as he admired the sight of the girl at his side. But she just looked so pretty in her little sundress, her naturally tanned expression lightened even further by the sunlight dancing across her features. He couldn't help but admire her with sparkling brown eyes, his smile warming up as he leaned forward to peck her lips. "And you look much better than 'cute'," the young man grumbled to her both honestly and playfully, referring to Julia's comment from before.

ooc: Byeeeeeeeee, Rutherssss!

Vince's dark eyebrows rose as Julia gave him a rather unexpected response. He'd expected her to go for seafood, or better yet, Chinese [in the middle of Italy], just to contradict him as she so often did; but this, actually agreeing with him, was behaviour Vince was not used to coming from his girlfriend. "You sure?" he asked, though he was sure his question went unnoticed as the girl was too busy admiring her surroundings and didn't really bother replying to him. This was something else he wasn't very used to - Julia being so immersed in studying her surroundings, surroundings which were, for once, not clothing items that usually cost the boy an arm and a leg. He liked seeing her so distracted with her surroundings, though, unable to help but rather admire the way she admired this new place she found herself in. He snuck a kiss to her temple, which was so easy to reach when she was this tall, before speaking, "We can go see all the boutiques of Rome and buy all the dresses you want after this, I promise," he assured the girl with a smile, sure she would probably appreciate the fashion Rome offered, which differed so greatly from that in England and Sicily, where the couple currently lived (and he was also sure he would regret making this promise later when his bank account ran close to zero again, though at this moment he couldn't really bring himself to worry about it, becoming a little more focused on just giving Julia something she'd like).

"Italian it is, then," Victor decided with a faint smile as the group all seemed to come to the conclusion that they wanted Italian food, which was so fitting to their location. He, along with Airi, then began to lead the group deeper into the piazza, though keeping a close distance to the shops that surrounded it, until they came upon a large Italian restaurant, its doors open to the public and a young girl in black pants and a black collared shirt with a golden nametag reading 'Fiorella' standing right in the middle, flashing smiles to those passing by.

Vianna chuckled softly as the young man at her side assured her that she looked much better than 'cute', quickly getting the reference which got amusement to wash over her features. "Why thank you, Mr. Montgomery, you're always so charming," Vianna replied playfully, giving another chuckle before leaning in and pecking the boy's cheek lovingly, just as Victor exchanged words with the hostess standing in front of the restaurant and she began to lead the group inside the very large and elegant restaurant that had obviously been enchanted with the use of magic to be much larger and spacious than the outside gave off. "How are you doing so far?" Vianna asked Ferris, referring to how he was feeling about this whole idea of the trip so far, if it was still as horrible as they had first assumed it to be that morning.
Of course, everything so far was going well, but the poor couple had no way of knowing how the rest of their day would go.

Julia, who had been taking her time to study a nearby fountain, was rather surprised to find a kiss placed on her temple, turning in the direction of it only to see her boyfriend there with one of those smiles that sort of got her heart to grow all fuzzy. It was something that only happened when she and Vince were getting along, but when it did happen, she could feel it. And it brought the softest of smiles to her own tanned expression, listening as he promised that they could go see all of the boutiques of Rome and buy all the dresses she wanted after this brunch. Her smile widened at this and she probably would've clapped her hands together had one not been intwined with Vince's, but the most interesting part of her reaction was the light brown eyes which seemed to be shimmering just slightly. These eyes were one of the only very natural things about Julia's expression, the one thing that had never changed between Crossfield and Vince, and when one looked into them it was much easier to see the girl that was behind the counter of a coffee shop in a tiny town in England, anxious to get out and see things like a dog kept up in a cage all day.

Julia flashed her boyfriend a bit of a grin before pecking his lips with her own glossy ones, pulling back only to see a smudge of bubblegum pink left on Vince's lips. She let out a rather girlish giggle at the sight before gently wiping it away with one of her fingers, sharing a glance with him before starting to follow after Victor and the rest.

Ferris gave a bit of a grin as Vianna thanked him for his words, mentioning how charming he always was as she pecked his cheek in a kiss. "You're welcome," he replied with a soft chuckle, following after her with his hand still fully intwined with her own, keeping the girl close to himself as they started into the restaurant that seemed fairly authentic (and very expensive, as all things were turning out to be). He listened as she addressed him once more, asking how he was doing so far with this whole weekend vacation thing. "It's a little better than I anticipated," he agreed with a brief nod and a soft smile, revealing his dimples. "I've got food and entertainment," referring to Julince, "...and a beautiful little gem in a sundress to accompany me on the day of our anniversary," he replied all of this to her ear with a warm smile, kissing her cheek a moment later.

OOC: OH MY GAWSH I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING THAT BLEW MY MIND.
I CAN'T GET OUT OF CAPS LOCK, DESPITE THE FACT THAT YOU PROBABLY ALREADY REMEMBERED THIS! BUUUUTTTTT... Vince totally had a conversation with Julia on the way to Crossfield from Ferris's house in V.1! And she was all normal and like...Ferris-confused, and she took him to the owlery! I totally forgot about that and it's like...blowing my mind now. Like. That was his future wife. Looking totally different. And he didn't even know it.

ooc: !!!!
Wait... you didn't remember that?! BAHAHAHA! Yeah that was the day like right after the kiss (or maybe even later that same day) when Julia came to apologize and Vince was all "Oooohohho she's the one that kissed Ferris Wheel?!" BAHAHA. Yeah dude, it's totally ironic to look back on it now... especially since Julia was all 'I want to travel' and Italy was one of the places she wanted to visit, aaaand... here she is (though looking totally different). xDDD Bahahahaha.

Vince could feel - and taste - a bit of bubblegum lipgloss on his lips right after he'd returned Julia's peck kiss, something which he had rather gotten used to over the years. He'd never really been a big fan of kissing girls wearing lipgloss precisely because of this, but now… well, if Julia was the one doing it, it was alright. He was just about to wipe the lipgloss off when the girl did it for him, and he flashed her a grateful though slightly amused smile. It was so strange to see them getting along for a change; they even seemed a little mushy in a weird way. But it was still too soon to cheer, and the other members of the group knew better by now than to assume Julince wouldn't find something to bicker about as the day continued; it was simply their nature, the way their relationship worked.

The hostess led the group over to a large table in one corner where the group wouldn't be disturbed by waiters and other customers passing by, beside large windows offering a view to the outside piazza and the medieval architecture this old city was so well-known for. As the group began to settle down, Vianna proceeded to take a seat beside her husband, her hand still wrapped around his own as she listened to him speak, explaining that this was turning out a little better than he had anticipated, that he had food, entertainment, and his gem in a sundress to keep him company. The girl smiled brightly at this, leaning toward the young man as they sat down and pecking his cheek gently.
It was a good thing Victor and Airi weren't big fans of getting mushy in public and limited their PDA to hand-holding and exchanges of smiles (besides, Victor didn't want to be seen as the mushy lovey-dovey kind in public, it would ruin his reputation), or else this group would have been just very… disturbing for anyone else passing by; a group of cheesy couples, it couldn't get any worse.

A young waiter arrived then, a boy probably in his late teens, and introduced himself to the group in Italian, handing everyone their menus and placing some appetizers in the middle of the table for the group to enjoy as they decided what they wanted. After a moment, he excused himself and disappeared from sight, leaving the group to decide what they'd be having for lunch/breakfast that late morning.

Vince, of course, immediately flipped to the section of the menu that offered all the different types of pastas and chicken, something to which Vianna gave a small smirk. "Ah, but you're not supposed to be having carbs, Vince, remember?" the girl reminded him teasingly, holding the urge to giggle as she spoke, though the smirk on her lips showed how greatly amused she was.

Victor looked up from his own menu then, able to see the mischief his little sister was up to, and a very similar smirk graced his own expression. "Yeah, Vince, we wouldn't want you getting... 'fat'. You should probably take a look at the salads," said the young man, ignoring the way his younger brother shot both him and Vianna 'I'm not amused' looks.

"I'm not going to get fat," he said simply. Just the thought of it was ridiculous to him. "That's... impossible," he decided rather confidently. It was true that the thought of an overweight Vince was highly amusing and rather hard to imagine, but it was a little naive also to believe it was completely impossible.

OOC: Not until this very second!!!! I was like.... WHAT?!?!?!?!?!!?!?! Dude. That's so insane. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA "Oooohohoho!"

Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna placed a kiss to his cheek, inviting his dimples to come out of hiding as he admired her for a moment, taking his seat right at her side at the table just as the waiter arrived and spoke to them solely in Italian. Oh right; Italy. He'd nearly forgotten about another downfall of this trip, the fact that he would hardly be able to understand a word out of most everyone's mouths. But he remained silent, taking one of the menus with a polite smile and quickly flipping it to the lunch section as he definitely wasn't in the mood for breakfast, wanting something a bit more substantial as he turned to his wife. "What're you getting?" he asked her quietly, flashing her a bit of a grin as he realized that he was probably just going to get whatever she got, knowing she must've been expecting this as he often just got Vianna's dish whenever they were in Italy. But it was then that he realized his wife had just reminded Vince that he wasn't supposed to be having carbs, and his attention turned to the younger of the Vincenzi brothers with an amused smile, listening as Victor agreed and suggested a salad.

"Thank you Vianna," Julia said with a rather fake smile, obviously able to sort of detect the sarcasm in Vianna's tones as she reminded her older brother of the low-on-the-carbs rule. It was then that Vince spoke, denying that he could ever get fat and deciding that it was impossible, something that forced Julia's eyes to roll. "Vince, everybody can get fat," she decided simply as she picked up her own menu with one hand, the other flexed just slightly so she could better see her fake nails. But that was all she said on the matter, distracting herself with the menu as she sort of let it slide that he might very well be picking out something carb-filled. She could complain about nearly everything else, but she didn't particularly want to enforce the carb rule on the Vinciepoo that enjoyed his food so much. However, if two rolls was her limit...

ooc: OHMYGAWSH I can't believe you srsly didn't remember that!! I thought you'd mentioned it in one of your posts when we first introduced Julince, though!? LOL. Too funny. Bahahahaha. Anyway, it's still amusing the way things worked out in this RP...

"I think I'm getting a pasta carbonara," Vianna replied with a small smile as Ferris asked her what she wanted to get, well aware that the young man was probably asking because he wanted to have whatever she'd be having, as had become a sort of habit every time they came to Italy together.

"Not me," Vince replied simply as Julia explained that everyone could get fat, obviously feeling quite sure about this, ever the over-confident one. "If it hasn't happened already, it won't now; genetics are on my side," he added, to which Victor and Vianna merely exchanged glances for a moment.

"Maybe you inherited Dad's genes... you've seen the pictures; he used to be just like you when he was younger. And now..." muttered Vianna, a sort of doom-and-gloom tone to her voice as she sighed softly and shook her head slightly, as if what had happened to their father (that big belly that came to be sometime after marriage) was a terrible tragedy and Vince was doomed to go down that path. Though Vianna knew she and her brothers were actually more Vescovi than they were Vincenzi body-wise, and chances were her brothers would be more like their mother and maintain a slender build if they didn't go overboard with the food and continued to practice sports. But Vianna didn't feel like consoling Vince, she felt like picking on him a little. The girl was generally nice, but let us not forget she's also a little sister, and as a good little sister, it was her job to tease her older brothers and give them gray hairs - especially Vince; if her relationship with Vince was known for anything, it was definitely the way they could so easily bicker with one another and find such great joy in competing and teasing each other in their own childish ways.

Victor ignored his siblings' attempts to start bickering and took a sip from his water after setting his menu down, already decided on what he wanted to get. "So, how's Gabriel?" he asked Fervi specifically. He got to see Jackie around plenty, since they were all living in Sicily; but Fervi lived in England, so the young man didn't really get a chance to see his nephew very often, except through photographs and a visit he made to Fervi's home a few weeks after the baby was born. "Did we get lucky and he inherited your genes, Vianna?"

Vianna shot her brother a look before rolling her eyes. "No, he looks just like the two of us," she said, though a warm smile was beginning to adorn her face just at the thought of her little boy. "He's so big! And he has a lot more hair now, it's curly, like Ferris's," said the girl, her smile now widening to a grin. "He's got his father's dimples, too. You should see him smile... he can light up a whole room," continued the young mother quite proudly, her blue eyes sparkling just at the mention of her little boy, something which got her brothers to smile with amusement.

OOC: Well, I probably remembered it when we first came up with the couple of Julince! I just forgot it between here and there! *blush*
Yeah, this RP is insanely amusing, I have to agree...

Julia's jaw dropped as Vianna mentioned the possibility of her boyfriend growing a big belly sooner rather than later, suggesting that it was in his genes from his father's side. She'd never actually considered that he'd really be fat! She's just sort of...warned him against it and never took more consideration from it! But...what if he did turn out to be tubby? Her light brown eyes widened slightly as they stared at the menu, thoughtful as she realized the possibility of this. Despite her materialistic nature and shallow ways, the young girl couldn't necessarily say that she would disown Vince as her boyfriend if he grew one of those bellies, against popular belief. But he was Vince, and she's sort of grown to admire him in a really strange warped way... She quickly wiped away all of these thoughts, not even wanting to think about feelings and big bellies as she continued to read her menu.

Ferris gave a brief nod as Vianna explained what she was getting, knowing that she probably understood that he would get the same, before growing distracted as Victor asked how Gabe was. The young man grinned at this, about to speak, when Victor asked his sister if their little boy had gotten lucky and inherited her genes, rather than his father's. The young man shot Victor a look, though there was vague amusement behind his gaze, knowing that the oldest Vincenzi brother still had some trouble just not poking fun at him, and he was more amused than offended. He listened as Vianna explained that Gabe looked just like the two of them; that he was big and had curly hair like Ferris, that he'd gotten his father's dimples and his smile could light up a whole room. "Like his mother's," Ferris interjected with an amused smile, his expression warming up just slightly at the thought of little Gabe who seemed to be growing cuter by the day.

Vianna turned to Ferris and flashed him a smile before chuckling softly as the young man added that their little boy's bright smile was just like her own, something she grew greatly flattered by. "Remind me to floo our mums when we get back to the suite, I want to see how little Gabe's doing," Vianna asked of her husband with a small smile, unable to help but miss her little boy a bit, and worry for his well-being as well. The girl was distracted from thoughts of their baby boy, though, as the waiter from earlier arrived and spoke in swift Italian, flashing the group a friendly smile, a small notepad and a pen in hand ready to scribble down whatever it was they wanted to order.

Victor and Airi went first, having long ago decided on what they wanted, before it was Fervi's turn and Vianna ordered for both herself and Ferris. And then it was Julince's turn. "Any idea what you want, Jules?" asked Vince, turning to the girl at his side. He didn't really think the girl would want to go for the same thing he did (as his plates were usually a bit larger and fuller - and full of carbs), so he couldn't just pull a Fervi and order for the both of them without even at least asking Julia first.

Ferris gave a brief nod as Vianna asked him to remind her to floo their mothers when they got back to the suite, as she wanted to see how little Gabe was doing. "Alright, Vi," he promised with a small smile before growing distracted by the waiter's presence. He quickly fell into silence once more, allowing his wife to do all of the talking mainly because they were ordering the same thing but also because any Italian he could manage to pull together would sound like some alien language due to his thick English accent.

Julia seemed not to notice that everyone else had ordered until the boy at her side turned to her, asking if she had any idea of what she wanted. Her blonde eyebrows rose slightly, as though just realizing she was supposed to have picked something from the menu, and glanced over to what her boyfriend had been looking at on his own menu. "I'll have what you're having," she said simply, as though she hadn't just said something completley out of character for her. She was rarely this laid back with her food choices as she had absolutely no desire to fill her body with the things Vince took so much pleasure in. Usually it all sounded gross. But here? Well, Italy was more of Vince's forte and she couldn't deny that she wanted the whole Italian experience. And so instead of getting some scrawny salad as she usually might've, she decided on something much more out of her comfort zone.
