This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna gasped and her jaw dropped with mock offense as Ferris asked her to stop being cute, amusement sparkling in her eyes as they fell upon his brown ones. She said nothing, though, and instead watched as the young man got back to work on the drawing. However, before he even had a line down, he was turning back to her accusing her of still being cute. At this, Vianna couldn't help but fall into a fit of amused giggles. "I'm not doing anything!" she said in her defense, the giggles still leaving her smiling lips between words. "Isn't that right, Gabe?" the girl asked, now turning to their newborn child. "Tell Daddy Mummy's not doing anything," she asked of the little one who was now sucking his thumb absentmindedly.

Ferris let out a few soft chuckles as Vianna defended herself, explaining that she wasn't doing anything and then turning Gabe for support, suggesting that the infant explain to his father that his mother wasn't doing anything. "Don't make our child do your bidding, gem," the young man teased though he seemed in a bit of a daze as he watched those giggles erupt from his wife's rosy lips. But Gabe didn't seem to have a mind for either of his parents, all wrapped up and cozy right between them as he brought a thumb up to his mouth comfortably. His blue eyes were getting drowsy, it was easy to tell, and the sweet sounds of his parents' voices only seemed to add to his comfort level, creating an atmosphere very similar to before he was born. "You're being cute and you kno--" the young man caught off as the tiniest of sounds came out of the baby between them; a yawn. Ferris turned to look at his baby boy just in time to see him place his thumb back into his mouth comfortably. "He's sleepy," he murmured with an endeared smile.

Vianna gasped once more with mock offense as Ferris told her not to use their child to do her bidding, her eyebrows raising for a moment before he went on to explain that she was still being cute. Vianna opened her mouth to reply but, just like the young man at her side, was cut off by the most adorable of sounds, her gaze falling to the baby between them as he yawned sleepily, his thumb then returning to his little mouth and his blue eyes sleepy. Vianna's own blue eyes sparkled brightly at this sight, completely endeared by it, wanting nothing more at that moment than to shower their little baby with sweet, loving kisses. "Awwww, Gabie..." she said softly, readjusting the baby so he was now laying comfortably on her arms just as Ferris announced that the little one was sleepy. She admired the sight of him for a moment before leaning in and kissing his little cheek, her gaze completely endeared and adoring. "I should take him to his room," said Vianna softly, watching as the little one's eyes continued to close further, obviously very sleepy.

Ferris's smile widened slightly as he watched Gabe be pulled closer to his mother, his blue eyes beginning to droop more and more as he grew sleepier. "Aw Gabie you're so cute!" the young man grumbled playfully to the little baby in his wife's arms, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek lovingly, admiring the sight of their precious baby boy so sleepy. But as Vianna announced that she probably should take him to his room, he had to agree despite how much he wanted to just sit and admire the little baby who was so adorable. "Alright, goodnight for now Gabie," the young father murmured with a soft smile, kissing the baby's forehead sweetly before pulling back and allowing them to get up.

"Goodnight, Daddy," said Vianna in a baby voice, as if speaking for Gabe before laughing lightly, amused with herself. As the young man then pulled back and she was able to sit up, Vianna left the bed and got up to her feet, very carefully carrying the baby out of his parents' room and over to his own little pastel green room, turning on the lights with one hand and walking over to the crib. "Goodnight, Gabie," said the girl softly, pecking the little one's cheek gently as she carefully set him down into his cozy little crib. The girl knew, though, that this goodnight was only temporary and it would only be a matter of a couple more hours before the baby was up again demanding their attention, but for now it'd have to do.
After tucking the little one in and giving him another kiss, Vianna turned off the lights, left the nursery door half-closed, and headed back to the main bedroom with a warm smile still adorning her lightly tanned face. "And he's asleep now," she announced as she returned to bed. "For the time being, anyway," she added with a chuckle.

Ferris let out a hearty chuckle at his wife's baby voice, shaking his head at her as he watched her head towards the nursery with their baby in her arms. He let out a soft sigh of content, rather amused with his wife, before starting once more on this portrait, brown eyes concentrating a bit more on the way his strokes looked on the smooth paper, shading a bit more in certain sections. He looked up with raised eyebrows as Vianna entered the room once more, announcing that little Gabe was asleep now, for the time being at least. He gave a bit of a smile at this, his dimples just barely coming out of hiding as he admired the sight of her and patted the place next to himself on the bed. "Come over here, gem," he murmured softly.

Vianna smiled as Ferris invited her back to the bed and made her way over to her side, sitting and scooting closer to the young man who had returned to working on the drawing of their little boy. The girl beamed at the sight of the drawing once more, still as fascinated by how accurate it was as she had been so many years ago, when she saw him draw for the first time. "How's it going?" asked Vianna, referring to the drawing the young man was working on. "Is my artistic Professor still feeling inspired by our little Gabe? He even gave you a yawn and a sleepy face to increase your inspiration!" the girl added playfully with a bit of a grin.

Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna came over to his side, slipping his arm around her waist as soon as she was within his arm's reach, pulling her into his chest as his dimples came out of hiding. He was just turning back to look at his drawing when Vianna spoke, asking how it was going, if her artistic Professor was feeling inspired by their little Gabe, especially since the baby had even given him a yawn and a sleepy face to inspire him further. The young man let out a hearty chuckle at her questions, a bit of a grin falling onto his pale face as he admired the sight of her. "Yes, I've gotten a good deal of inspiration from little Gabe," he agreed with an amused smile, pulling her a bit closer as he planted a sweet kiss to her temple. "...And you," he added with a raise of his eyebrows, though he knew that she really hadn't seen the few drawings he'd done of her when she wasn't looking.

Vianna smiled brightly as the young man at her side welcomed her with his arm around her waist, listening as he confirmed that little Gabe had, indeed, given him a good deal of inspiration. "Good," she said, her gaze falling to the sketchbook once more. "I can't wait until he's older and can admire the masterpieces his daddy made for him," said Vianna, as if Ferris had just painted a whole mural than just made a drawing; but to the girl, each of his pieces were true masterpieces, something to admire and cause awe. The girl was a little snapped out of thoughts, though, as Ferris added that she had given him inspiration as well. The girl turned to him then, her eyebrows raised as well. "Me?" she asked with a smile. "All I did was sit and watch you," she said with a soft chuckle, well aware she wasn't really doing anything to be charming or inspiring.

Ferris listened as Vianna mentioned that she couldn't wait for Gabe to grow older and fully appreciate the masterpieces that his father was making for him, something that got the young man to give a sheepish chuckle, obviously not thinking that 'masterpiece' was quite the word for what he was doing. But he remained silent, listening as she asked for confirmation that she too was inspiration, reminding him that all she did was sit and watch him as he sketched out his drawings. He flashed her a bit of a boyish grin then, dimples coming into sight once more before he turned back to his notepad and slowly began to pull the previous pages back down in front. After a few flips of the pages, the young man smoothed out the paper and exposed a sketch of a pregant Vianna, fallen asleep on the couch for the afternoon in the later months of her pregnancy. It was beautiful, detailed perfectly to the minutest degree as nearly all of his portraits were. But this one was special, there was even more attention to detail than normal and every fiber of his argyle sweater, so snugly wrapped around his wife and her beautiful belly, was shown clearly. She was sleeping happily on the couch with her bright blue eyes closed, laying comfortably in the warm cushions as the snow fell outside the window just behind her. Her long brown hair was drawn out to the strand, long and scattered slightly over some of the pillows surrounding her. "This one took me a couple hours..."

Vianna watched with curiosity as Ferris began to flip through the pages of his book, until he came upon the one picture he wanted to show her. As he exposed the drawing, the girl's blue eyes widened in surprise; she'd had no idea he had been drawing her in her sleep, and the drawing caught her completely off-guard. She was quiet for the next few moments, just admiring how wonderfully detailed the drawing was, how life-like it seemed, and how perfectly accurate it was to the way she looked, to the way his sweaters looked on her, to the window in the background, the couch, the pillows... everything was completely flawless. "When was this?" she asked softly after a long silence, turning to her husband with a bright smile, clearly pleased with the surprise. "I didn't know you'd been drawing, Professor! I though you hadn't touched your sketchbook in ages! Why didn't you tell me?" she asked, giving him another smile before returning her fascinated blue eyes to the detailed drawing.

Ferris gave a bit of a smile as Vianna spoke with clear pleasant surprise on her expression, asking when he'd drawn this and why he hadn't told her that he'd been sketching, that she thought he hadn't touched his sketchbook in ages. "I'm sorry, I just..." he trailed off with a sheepish smile. "I dunno, I just picked it up one day when you were being all pretty, fast asleep... I only drew you sleeping a couple times..." he explained himself with a shrug as his brown eyes fell to the paper in his hands. "This one was done...I dunno, I guess a couple weeks ago," the young man admitted with a soft chuckle, his dimples sneaking out once more onto his pale face.

Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly once more as Ferris confessed that he'd drawn her a couple times before, that he had done this specific drawing only about a couple weeks ago. The girl smiled warmly at this, her blue eyes still fixed on the drawing for another moment before she turned back to the young man at her side, flashing him the brightest of smiles before leaning in and pecking his cheek gently, a little longer than necessary, before then pulling back with another smile. "I like when you draw me," she confessed softly.

Ferris's shy brown eyes, which had remained on the drawing before him, looked up only as he felt a pair of warm rosy lips place a kiss on his cheek which suddenly felt much colder in comparison. He smiled faintly at this, turning to her with a sparkling gaze as she confessed that she liked when he drew her, something that got his heart to swell slightly. "Oh yeah?" he murmured playfully, his smile widening as he gently pulled her closer, his eyes now sweeping over each of her features, taking in the sight of that face he knew so well. He merely watched her for a moment, observing her beautiful expression, the exact colour of her blue eyes, how tan her soft skin was. "I kinda like you, y'know," the young man murmured playfully, gently setting aside his sketchbook as he pulled her closer to himself, his other arm coming to wrap around her as he sunk back into the pillows.

"Oh yeah?" Vianna copied Ferris's response to her words, using them as her own response to his later words where he confessed he liked her. "And why would this argyle-clad, artistically talented, book-loving Professor like this broom-race-loving girl who wouldn't stop harassing him the first day she met him to get him on a broom?" she asked playfully, memories from the very first day they met flooding her mind. They were her most valued memories, and she loved thinking back on these times every now and then.

Ferris couldn't help but let his smile widen as Vianna spoke, copying his words and asking why a guy like him (artistic, argyle-clad, and book-loving) would like a broom-race-loving girl who wouldn't stop harassing him to get on a broom the first day she met him. "Because that's exactly what I love about her," the young man responded with a bit of a grin, leaning towards her and pecking her lips lovingly. "I love that she wants to win every debate, and how she never stopped bugging me to get on that broom..." he started with sparkling brown eyes. "...And I love her blue eyes..." he continued with amusement shining through his expression, rather entertained with how he switched to her looks oh-so-subtly. "..and her lips..." Ferris pecked her lips lovingly once more, the sketchbook now forgotten as he focused his attention on the girl at his side.

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris explained to her that it was precisely that that he liked about her, her smile turning warm before the young man then pecked her lips lovingly, a gesture which she returned sweetly, eagerly. "Well, I'm glad that even after all these years you still like that," she said with a soft chuckle, well aware that in most couples, what attracted them at first, could easily turn into what they disliked about each other in the future. "I'm glad I was able to get you on a broom, though... you're pretty good. Not as good as me, but you're good."

Ferris gave a bit of a smile as Vianna spoke with a giggle, mentioning that she was glad he still liked that about her after all of their years together. "Don't say it like that," he grumbled playfully at her word choice, "You make us sound like a retired couple," he scowled teasingly with lighthearted smile, listening as she then explained how glad she was that she was able to get him on a broom back then, that he was pretty good (though not as good as herself, of course). "Of course!" he replied teasingly, his voice amplified just slightly as he grew more amused with her comment, letting out a soft chuckle as his dimples surfaced on his entertained expression. He sunk back into his sheets more after setting his sketchpad on the bedside table, falling down further into the bed until he was practically looking up at the girl with that quirky grin that was so common to him. "Of course I could never possibly be as good as my Young Vincenzi!" he teased as he admired the sight of her, his smile a bit lopsided as it widened.

Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris mentioned she was making them sound like an old retired couple, something she couldn't help but realize was true now that she thought back on it. Her giggles then grew as the young man spoke again, playfully agreeing that he could never possibly be as good as his 'Young Vincenzi'. That last bit, her old nickname, got Vianna to smile brightly, a sort of sparkle coming to her blue eyes. Wow... he hadn't called her that in ages. It reminded her of the first time he came up with it, during the time she'd gotten him to join the others in the lake by splashing him while he sat reading. "Mm. Young Vincenzi would have to agree with that statement, Professor For," said the girl with a smile, copying the way she used to call him back then, by 'Professor Fer' rather than just 'Professor' like she did now.

Ferris couldn't help but let his smile widen as Vianna's blue eyes sparkled at him, listening as she informed him that Young Vincenzi would have to agree with Professor Fer. His arms slipped around her at this statement as his face lit up, pulling her into him as his mind drifted back to their first days together, of when he'd just met the girl he now knew better than anyone else on the planet, when they'd first given each other these nicknames. "Mmm..." he murmured in a soft sigh of content, his brown eyes a bit dreamy as his smile became a bit goofy. "My gorgeous little Young Vincenzi..." he muttered softly as he brought her closer to his chest. "Mon bijou."

Vianna smiled warmly as the young man at her side murmured her nicknames softly, both bringing the girl a number of memories that always got her smile to widen, her heart to warm. She still couldn't believe the way things had turned out; it had all been... completely different to what she had expected when she was younger, this wasn't the way she imagined her life would turn out. But that's not to say she didn't like it; she loved it. She loved being Mrs. Montgomery, she loved being a Herbologist, and she loved being the mother of an adorable baby boy. Everything was perfect.
As the young man pulled her down and closer to his chest, Vianna turned to him and placed a kiss on his cheek, then resting her head on his chest absentmindedly and letting out a sleepy yawn. It was still early, but she couldn't help feeling completely exhausted after the lack of sleep they had experienced the night before.

Ferris's smile warmed up as Vianna kissed his cheek and rested her head on his shoulder as she let out a sleepy yawn. "My gem..." he murmured in English now as he relaxed back into the pillows. He let silence fall between them, obviously not really having anything that needed to be said, and just enjoying the calm that their house had when nothing was being discussed, when the air filled with the sounds of waves crashing on their shore. It was calming, perfect as the young man let his mind wander back to their beginnings, back to their days at camp and their time on the run, when everything that was so normal now was new and exciting back then; when every little touch was something they'd never had before, something they weren't quite used to but completely excited by. "I can't believe we have a baby," Ferris murmured softly to her with an amused smile, quickly realizing how randomly that had come out. But thinking back to their beginnings and when everything was new... It was rather crazy to think that they'd made it this far, so far in fact that they now had a child together, something that had never made him happier.

Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as Ferris's comment, a little startled by it before the smile returned to her lips, her head still resting on his chest and her gaze absentmindedly examining the fabric of his shirt. "I can't believe it either," she replied after a moment, able to understand where the comment had come from since her mind had been on the same thing, on the same memories. "Who would've thought? Who would've imagined that the Italian girl racing on a broom and the English boy reading a book would make it this far?" she said with a soft chuckle, a little amused by the descriptions she used for themselves.

Ferris let out a hearty chuckle as Vianna spoke, asking playfully who would've guessed that the Italian girl on a broom would've made it this far with the English boy reading a book under a tree. "I dunno, but I'm sure glad I ended up with my gem.." he murmured with an amused smile, lifting his chin from his place on top of her head in order to gently place a kiss on her cheek, allowing her own expression to come up from her chest. As soon as he caught sight of those blue eyes, his smile widened into an almost goofy smile, lopsided as it so often was. "My beautiful..." he placed a kiss to her nose, "...sweet..." he placed another kiss to her jawline, "...very Italian, tan little gem that fits so nice right next to me..." Ferris murmured to her with a warm smile, pulling her even closer to himself as though to emphasize his point.

Vianna beamed as Ferris shared with her that he was glad to have ended up with her, a few giggles escaping her lips as he then began to place kisses on her cheek, nose, and chin while explaining how she fit so nicely next to him. "I'm glad for that, my Professor makes a very comfortably pillow," said the girl with a soft chuckle. But she could often be found resting on the young man some way when they were just relaxing, and she appreciated the way they could so perfectly and comfortably fit next to each other, as she liked having this proximity with the person she loved most.
The girl returned her head to his chest then, letting out a brief yawn before speaking again, "How long do you think it'll be 'til Gabe's waking us again?" she asked with a small smile.
