This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris only stopped his speech of baby talk as Vianna spoke to him, mentioning that Gabe probably wanted to know why his father was making so many funny faces. The young man stuck his tongue at her, now noting that she was done with the diaper and picking up the little infant of question. "Noooo!" Ferris denied in a playful grumble to the little baby he rose up into the air, still fastened securely in his hands though now a good seven feet or more into the air due to the young man's height and arm length. "You like when daddy talks to you, don't you Gabie?" he asked the little baby who merely kept his furrowed brows in tact, looking at him curiously for a long moment as Ferris brought him back down to his chest, holding him close as he let out a soft chuckle. "Yeah, I know, you're starting to look like a little baby Professor yourself, aren't you?" he teased, kissing Gabe's cheek lovingly as he grew more and more amused by the infant's furrowed brows.

Vianna giggled lightly to herself as Ferris questioned the little one who merely kept his cute little brows furrowed at his father, admiring the sight of the two of them and chuckling softly as Ferris mentioned that Gabe looked like a little baby Professor. "He's only two days old and he's already learned how to copy you, Professor; I can't even imagine how much he'll be like you when he's five or older!" she said with a soft chuckle, admiring the sight of the baby in her husband's arms. "He'll probably be all dressed up in argyle with his nose buried in a book," she added with an amused smile.

Ferris let out a hearty chuckle as Vianna noted how Gabe was only two days old and he was already learning how to copy his father's furrowed brows, that she couldn't even imagine how much their little boy would be like him once he was five or older. He gave a bit of a grin at this, listening as she suggested that perhaps the little baby would be all dressed up in argyle with his nose buried in a book, "Who knows?" the young man mentioned playfully as his brown eyes returned to the little baby in his arms. "I suppose only time will tell, huh Gabie?" It was then that Ferris gently held Gabe out towards his mother a bit to show him his little furrowed-browed expression. And as the baby did this, Ferris's expression was right at his side, his own brows furrowed as though he wanted the girl before them to compare and contrast.

Vianna smiled, her crystal blue eyes sparkling at the sight of the tiny newborn in her husband's arms, admiring how tiny he was, how unintentionally cute and adorable everything he did was. And then, suddenly, the young man carrying the little one brought him up a little, so that their faces were right next to each other and the girl could see the resemblance between them in the way their brows furrowed. At this, the girl laughed aloud, finding herself more amused than she had expected to be. But it was rather impressive, at the same time, how there really was a resemblance between Ferris and Gabe; it wasn't much, since little Gabe was still only days old and therefore his features were not yet defined; but just that expression, just the way his little brows furrowed, made him look a surprising lot like his father; there was no denying they were father and son. "You two look exactly the same," started Vianna between giggles, "But I think Gabe pulls off the concentrated look better, Professor. Sorry, he's just cuter," she said with a dramatic sigh and a shake of her head, as if she was sharing the worst of news with her husband, though she was obviously just teasing as soon the giggles began to escape her lips once more.

Ferris couldn't help but grin as Vianna informed him that he and his son looked exactly the same, knowing that this statement wasn't entirely accurate due to the fact that Gabe's tiny expression still had a lot of developing to do; but still, it was a little nice to hear. But his smile fell as she then added that Gabe pulled of the concentrated look better than he did, that he was just cuter. "Cuter?!" the young man complained playfully with amusement curving up the corners of his lips into a smile. "Do you have to be so mean to your husband gem?!" he grumbled teasingly, keeping Gabe to his chest as he stepped clsoer to her, towering over her with a playful pout on his young pale face.

Vianna's giggles only grew at her husband's reaction over her teasing, watching as he approached her with a pout. "Awww... well, if it makes you feel any better, Gabe and our pets might be cuter than you... but you're cuter than everyone else," the girl assured him with an amused smile, almost as if she was talking to a child. "And no one's husband is cuter or sweeter or more perfect than mine," she added with a small grin, then leaning on her toes and leaning carefully over Gabe to place a peck kiss on Ferris's lips.

Ferris's eyebrows rose slightly as Vianna informed him that Gabe and their pets might've been cuter than him, but he was cuter than everyone else. He couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle at her reasoning, "Oh, well thanks so much, Vi. At least I come in a distant last," he teased with a playful roll of his eyes before listening as she then informed him that no one's husband was cuter or sweeter or more perfect than her own, a statement that obviously flattered the young man who felt his heart flip in his chest. "Oh yeah?" he murmured playfully, brown eyes closing as he lovingly returned the peck she placed on his lips for the moment it lasted. Keeping Gabe secure in one arm, Ferris slipped his free arm around her slender waist with sparkling brown eyes, pulling her even closer to himself and Gabe as he admired the sight of her. "Well, you know that there's no woman on the planet that could possibly even compare to my gem... She's far too beautiful..far too perfect and sweet.." he murmured softly to her with a bit of a smile, pecking her lips once more sweetly. ~~cheeseballs~~

Vianna's crystal blue eyes sparkled brightly at the young man before her as he spoke, explaining why no other woman on the planet could compare to her, listing how she was far too beautiful, and perfect, and sweet. Vianna's smile only grew with each statement, then returning the peck kiss he placed on her lips lovingly for the moment it lasted.
And then came a sound, a voice that belonged neither to Ferris or to Vianna. It was little Gabe, cooing from his spot in his father's arms, extending out a tiny arm to his parents. Vianna pulled back with a smile, her admiring gaze falling to the little baby who questioned them, his brows still furrowed at them. "I'm sorry, Gabe, I know we promised not to be so embarrassing, but..." she trailed off with a sigh, as if she really was feeling terribly guilty about this. "It's... it's your dad's fault!" she decided before giggling lightly, mischievously.

Ferris couldn't help but grin as a little cooing came from the baby in his arms, turning his expression down to little Gabe only to see those tiny eyebrows furrowed once more. He let out a soft chuckle at the sight, listening as Vianna apologized to the infant for being so embarrassing before she suddenly decided that it was Ferris's fault. The young man's jaw dropped at this accusation, brown eyes widening playfully as they turned to the girl at his side, looking at her with all of the betrayal in the world in his expression. "C'mon Gabie, we're going away from your mum," the young man announced playfully, releasing Vianna's waist and starting towards the door. "I don't want to be blamed for things that are entirely her fault and she doesn't think I'm cute anyway," he explained as he crossed the threshold of the nursery and headed towards the master bedroom.

It was now Vianna's jaw that dropped as Ferris announced to little Gabe that they were leaving, that he didn't want to be blamed for things that were actually her fault and she didn't think he was cute anyway. And now, just like Gabe's, Vianna's brows furrowed. "Hey!" She followed the pair out of the nursery - making sure to turn off the lights and close the door first, of course. Had the young man not been carrying a baby in his arms, Vianna would've gone about this a more physical way, attacking by surprise and tackling him to the ground, just like the overgrown fun-loving child she could be at times; but this time she had to keep a safe distance and keep her hands to herself. "You can run away all you want, Professor, but you can't take Gabe from me!" she complained, coming to a halt in the doorway as the other two entered the room. "That's not a very nice thing to do to a mother, y'know."

Ferris couldn't help but smile slightly to himself as he heard Vianna following along behind him, knowing full well that he would've been on the ground by now had he not been holding Gabe. Just as he stepped into the room, he listened as she pointed out that he couldn't keep her away from Gabe no matter how much he ran, that it wasn't a very nice thing to do to a mother. "And it's not a very nice thing to blame things on the father of your child in front of said child," the young man retorted playfully as he turned around and gently held up Gabe right before Vianna's face, showing off the little baby who merely stared at her with vaguely interested blue eyes. "Look. He's upset with you. We both are."

Vianna's slender arms crossed, listening with a hint of annoyance on her features as Ferris merely explained that it wasn't nice of her to blame things on him in front of their child, and she was just about to reply to that when he brought little Gabe up to hover right before her. Vianna's features softened immediately, and the corners of her lips curved on instinct just at the sight of that little face, of how incredibly cute and adorable her little baby boy was, just staring at her with those big blue eyes she always saw when she looked in the mirror.
The girl seemed to have fallen into a minor daze for a moment there before snapping out of it. "Professor!" she complained, taking the baby gently with her hands. "That's the second time today you use Gabe to do your own evil bidding!" continued the girl, now carefully positioning Gabe in her arms, leaning in toward the little one and pecking his cheek lovingly. "You're so cute, Gabie... tuo papà è un male per l'uso che ti piace!"

Ferris's jaw dropped as Vianna merely took Gabe from his hands and placed him in his arms as though it wasn't a big deal, as though she wasn't just stealing a member of his anti-mummy team. He rolled his eyes playfully as Vianna reminded him that this was the second time that day that he'd used Gabe to do his own evil bidding, though he couldn't hide the amused smile that was creeping onto his own expression, watching as Vianna leaned down to kiss Gabe's cheek. But before his heart could warm up too much, she was suddenly speaking to their son in Italian, and he clearly heard the word 'papa'. "Vi!" he complained, coming to her side as though to take Gabe but obviously not doing so as it would be rather difficult with the way Vianna was holding him so securely. "You can't speak to him in Italian about me!"

Vianna was now giggling mischievously to herself as Ferris complained about her talking about him to their baby in Italian. "I don't know what you're talking about, Professor, I never said anything about you," Vianna replied simply, now making her way into the room and settling on her side of the bed, the baby still held securely in her arms, where she was sure Ferris wouldn't be able to easily steal him away. "I think Daddy's onto us, Gabe!" Vianna whispered to the little one, as if Ferris was out of range and couldn't hear her.

Ferris groaned as he followed his wife into the bedroom, listening as she denied knowing what he was talking about and explaining that she never had said anything about him. "I heard the word papa and I am technically the papa of our child; aka Gabe," the young man countered playfully, flashing her a bit of an amused smile as he climbed onto his own side of the bed, picking up the sketchbook that he'd left there earlier in the evening. He was just opening it to the next page, relaxing back into his pillows, when he suddenly heard Vianna whispering to Gabe about her husband being onto them. "I heard that," he grumbled, turning to her with a flash of his pearly whites and an amused roll of his eyes before he started to work on the portrait he'd been in the middle of before dinner.

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris explained to her that he'd heard the word papà, which was precisely what he was to little Gabe. She watched as the young man then proceeded to sit at his own side of the bed, taking his sketchbook into his hands and working on the drawing he'd started earlier. This got Vianna's blue eyes to sparkle with that curiosity and fascination that always came to her whenever her husband picked up a pencil or a paintbrush. "Can I watch?" she asked softly, always eager to watch Ferris work on a drawing, especially now when it had been so long since she'd last seen him draw or paint.

Ferris seemed to calm once the pencil was in his hands, his expression growing more serene and relaxed as he sunk back into the pillows and gently began to add detail to the outlining he'd done previously. But it was then, just as he was starting on little Gabe's arm, Vianna broke the silence with her sweet voice, asking if she could watch. "Only if you share your baby," he replied teasingly, as though they'd been fighting over Gabe these past few minutes; which really, they had been as Vianna stole the little infant from him. He flashed her a grin just a moment later, jotting his head just slightly as an invitation for her to come closer to himself, suddenly finding that he wanted her at his side once more.

Vianna gave a bit of a grin as Ferris shared that she could watch him as long as she shared the baby, before then offering an invite to come closer. More than happy to do so, the girl scooted closer over to his side of the bed, close enough so she could rest her head on his shoulder, her blue eyes on the sketchbook he was drawing on. "Are you excited to watch Daddy draw, Gabie?" asked Vianna, now lowering her gaze to the baby still in her arms, repositioning him so that the little one could almost sort of sit between the couple (though Vianna still had to hold him carefully since obviously Gabe wasn't capable of sitting on his own yet), and able to see the sketchbook and his father's hands at work well.

Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna came over to his side, feeling himself relax a bit more with her there next to him, always welcoming the feel of her head resting on his shoulder. He listened as she then spoke to their baby, asking if he was ready to watch Daddy draw, something he couldn't help but smile at. "My favourite little observers," he murmured playfully, turning his head just slightly to kiss her forehead lovingly before turning back to the task at hand. Currently, this was a portrait of solely Gabe, lying peacefully asleep in his crib, looking completely adorable. All of it was just a basic version of the sketch so far, he was just now starting to get into the details of it. He focused in on Gabe's little expression, gently using precise strokes to redefine the way his cheeks were a bit chubbier when he fell asleep, how perfectly round his little chin was, how sweet he looked when he was fast asleep, his mouth hanging open just slightly (very much like his father's often did, but that's beside the point).

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris mentioned they were his two favourite little observers, smiling warmly as the young man then awarded her a kiss on her forehead before returning to his drawing. The girl's blue eyes sparkled at the sight of a sketch that was starting to resemble little Gabe, admiring the way Ferris's hand moved so smoothly over the paper, shading in the sketch perfectly to resemble their little baby more and more. "Look, Gabe," said Vianna after a few moments of silently watching her husband work, admiring the way the drawing was slowly but surely coming to life. "Do you recognize who that is?" she asked the little baby who merely cooed questioningly, making a few unintelligible noises from his little mouth as his blue eyes followed his father's moving hand.

Ferris smiled warmly to himself as he heard Gabe's little coos in response to his mother's questioning, able to imagine the little curious sparkle to those blue eyes he loved so much. But he didn't look away from his work, his hand continuing to stroke along the page seamlessly, creating more and more detail as it went. Pretty soon Gabe's expression was nearly done, his normally blue eyes closed in slumber in the portrait, his mouth hanging open just slightly as he turned his head barely to the side. The young father admired the sight of this as he erased a stray pencil marking, flipping the utensil back around to now set work on the baby's torso. He began to shade around his little onesie, outlining the shape of little Gabe as his own brows furrowed just slightly in the concentration that often accompanied working on a drawing.

Vianna leaned in toward the little baby she was holding and snuck a kiss to his chubby cheek before returning her head to Ferris's shoulder, watching quietly and admiringly as the young man continued working on the drawing. She'd missed this more than she even knew; it wasn't until now, until this moment that she finally got to see him working again that she realized how much she really missed just sitting at his side and watch him work, just how fascinating it had always been to her. It almost brought her back to their first days together, to the first time he ever showed her his sketchbook and then drew her for the first time. Many beautiful memories came with just watching him draw, and it was something the girl was sure she would never grow tired of, never be any less fascinated with than she was now.

Ferris couldn't help but let his thoughts drift as he continued to sketch out their little boy, reflecting on all of the times that had been just like this (though without the baby until now, of course), when he'd just been drawing partly because he so loved it but also because he loved how fascinated Vianna always seemed to be with it. Sketching out their baby, thinking on all of the beautiful little aspects to their own child... It was all sort of surreal to the young man who seemed to be realizing once more that he had a baby boy; that he was a father and he now had a little family, complete with a child. He grinned slightly to himself at this, his pencil pausing on the paper as he turned to look at the woman at his side, glancing down to the little baby between them. It was then that Ferris shared a look with his wife that he didn't even fully register, it was completely unguarded and raw Ferris, his brown eyes sparkling at her shamelessly as all of the happiness in the world began to beam through his expression. But he didn't say a word, simply sharing a gaze with her for what could've been hours before leaning in to peck her lips lovingly and then leaning down more in order to place a sweet kiss on Gabe's forehead.

Vianna was quietly watching the young man at her side work on the drawing, completely distracted by it, lost in the many lines and shades and pencil strokes that it took to form that little face the both of them had come to know so well when, suddenly, the young man stopped. The pencil stopped moving and he turned to her, causing the startled girl to lift her head from his shoulder and turn to him with confused blue eyes. She smiled faintly as he merely watched her, a bit of sheepishness on her own expression as she wasn't sure what had brought this on; but then, a little unexpectedly, the young man leaned in and placed a kiss on her lips which Vianna was quick to return lovingly for the moment it lasted, watching as he then moved on to place another kiss on little Gabe's forehead. Vianna smiled warmly at this, her blue eyes sparkling. "Are we distracting the artiste?" Vianna asked playfully with a French accent on the last word, before chuckling softly with amusement.

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna asked if they were distracting the artiste, brown eyes sparkling at her for another moment, apparently wrapped up in indecision as he hesitated for a moment before leaning forward and pecking her lips sweetly once more. "Stop being cute," he grumbled as he pulled away with a sheepish smile, dimples coming out of hiding as he turned back to the paper. But he seemed a little distracted, his hand making a couple motions as though to start drawing once more before pulling back, his brown eyes drifting back towards the girl at his side once in a while. "You're still being cute," he complained softly with a bit of a grin after a couple moments of this.
