This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna gave a small smile at Ferris's ramblings, merely nodding her head slightly to show the young man she understood what he was trying to say; she didn't want him to feel bad about her feeling bad (some things about Fervi just never change). As the young man then decided that she was the Italian one, asking what names she liked, Vianna gave a soft, brief chuckle. "Well, whatever we choose has to go well with 'Gabriel'," said the girl thinking back on the Italian names she'd liked when they were trying to decide Gabe's first name. "Marco? Adamo? Matteo?" suggested the girl, not really sure herself what name she liked best, or which went well with 'Gabriel'; she'd gotten too used to his first name alone.

Ferris gave a bit of a smile as Vianna explained that his middle name needed to go well with his first, suggesting some of the names they'd thought about originally for their baby boy. He thought for a moment before speaking them aloud in order to get a better feel of what went well with Gabe's first name. "Gabriel Marco Montgomery..." the young man started, brown eyes a little thoughtful as he pulled his forehead back from her own so as to better see her. "Gabriel Adamo Montgomery..." he murmured once more, thinking before finally trying out the last one, "Gabriel Matteo Montgomery..." Of course, being Ferris and possessing his British accent to the extent that he did, the young man pretty much butchered the middle names' pronunciations in terms of the proper way to say them or make them pretty. When he said them they had a strange accent, the emphasis was in the wrong place, and it just sounded rather off.

Vianna couldn't help but fall into a fit of giggles as Ferris mentioned each name option aloud, his British accent turning the names from Italian to a very funny version of English, something which rather amused the girl to no end. "I'm sorry," she said between giggles, realizing she probably wasn't being too nice laughing at his accent; she couldn't help it, though. "Your accent's so cute," she added with a smile, completely and unintentionally charmed by the young man's failure at pronouncing the names with their proper Italian accent. Something about it just made her want to kiss him; which was exactly what she did at that moment, leaning in the short distance between their lips and awarding the young man a gentle, very loving, but also very amused, kiss.

Ferris was thoughtfully gazing through the distance, thinking on these names, when Vianna suddenly started to burst out in a fit of laughter, obviously completely amused about something. Vaguely amused but unsure about what she was laughing about, a soft smile fell onto his features though his brows furrowed, listening as she apologized. Before he could ask what she was laughing at (which he now concluded had something to do with him), the girl explained that his accent was cute, something that got his eyebrows to raise. "You're laughing about my accent?!" he complained with a roll of his eyes and a groan of mock offense, though there was obvious amusement behind his expression. But Ferris had never been good with Italian, his pronunciation had always been terrible! He was just lucky that 'Vianna' was such an easily-pronouncable name otherwise he'd be calling his wife by a really distorted version of her actual title. "You're laughing at me! How can I be cute if you're laughing at me!?" the young man asked with an amused grin, unable to help himself from admiring her beautiful giggles. And before anything else could be said, her lips were suddenly on his own and he was receiving a loving kiss from the girl he loved most on the planet. Momentarily shocked, it took the boy a second to respond before he was suddenly returning the gesture lovingly, instinct taking over his amusement as he pulled her a bit closer. But if his goofy accent got him kisses...what was so bad about it?

Vianna couldn't wipe the smile from her lips even as she continued kissing her husband, pulling away a few long moments later, her crystal blue eyes fluttering open to reveal an amused sparkle in them. "You're just so... cute, Professor!" she complained, as if this was something terrible he was doing to her, before she leaned in once more and pecked his lips gently. She wasn't sure what had triggered it - or rather, how his funny accent had triggered this reaction, but she found herself wanting nothing more than to keep kissing him at that moment, finding him to be so unintentionally charming just by mispronouncing names so simple to her. "I'm sorry," she apologized once more as she pulled back again with a smile. "I promise to get serious now," she added, amusement still in her eyes, though it was mixed with a bit of endearment as well.

Ferris was a bit dazed as Vianna pulled away from the sweet kiss she'd planted on his lips, brown eyes fluttering open just as she explained that he was 'so...cute!'. His eyebrows rose as this confession, the warmest of his lopsided smiles coming onto his dreamy expression as she then pecked his lips once more. He returned the gesture lovingly, completely unaware of what was so cute about his horrible Italian, but didn't argue with it due to the fact that it was getting him such sweet kisses from his wife. It was rather amusing how after so long of being together, a simple kiss or compliment could get the young man to grow a bit goofy; just like he did as she broke apart once more to apologize and assure him that she was getting serious now. Ferris flashed her a lopsided grin, dimples coming out of hiding as he pulled her even closer, "Adamo," he murmured to her ear just as badly as the first time, though there was clear amusement in his expression this time, obviously rather entertained by the realization that she got such a kick from his horrible pronunciations. "Matteo..."

Just when Vianna's expression was finally turning a little more serious and business-like and she'd gotten her head back in the idea of choosing a middle name for the precious baby boy, Ferris pulled her closer and began to murmur her earlier suggestions in her ear, the pronunciation still as bad this time as it had been the first time. Unable to help herself and completely caught off-guard, Vianna fell into another fit of amused giggles, that amusement almost making her smile seem childlike. She couldn't help it, it was just so funny but at the same time incredibly cute when he tried to pronounce things in Italian; it just made his English accent all the more appealing to her. "Professor!" exclaimed the girl after a few long moments of giggling, well aware that her husband wasn't mentioning these names again just because he was actually thinking about what they were going to name their child, but rather for other motives. "You're not letting me concentrate!" she complained, the bright, amused smile still on her lips as she turned her head in his direction, sparkling her eyes at him for a moment before leaning over and placing her lips on his own.

Ferris couldn't help but grin as Vianna fell into another fit of amused giggles, his dimples coming out of hiding once more as he admired the sight of her laughing at his accent. But he couldn't help but find her to be completely and totally adorable, watching as she exclaimed his favourite nickname and complained that he wasn't letting her concentrate. "I'm just thinking about names!" the young man complained in return between a few soft chuckles, brown eyes sparkling at the girl so near to himself before she leaned in and did just what he'd been craving for what felt like hours. Amusement curving his lips into a bit of a smile, the young man returned the kiss as lovingly as he could, pulling her a bit closer as he relished in the feel of her lips on his own. He reluctantly broke apart to murmur playfully, "Buona notte,", repeating what she'd tried to teach him so many years ago when he'd first visited her home. It was one of the very first things she ever tried to teach him in Italian and he butchered it just as horribly now as he did back then, his pronunciation completely and totally off, his emphasis completely wrong... But he did it just to see her reaction, to hopefully earn more giggles as he rested his forehead against her temple sweetly, his nose brushing up against her cheek as he attempted 'goodnight' in Italian.

Vianna's crystal blue eyes fluttered open as she pulled away from the kiss, a bright beaming smile greeting the sight she loved so much, the features she could never get enough of. She allowed a comfortable silence to fall between them then, the smile still curving her lips before she cleared her throat softly and straightened her expression, wiping the amusement off and concentrating on the task at hand - finding Gabe a middle name. Just as she was about to comment on which combination of names she liked best, the young man spoke again, this time saying 'good night' in Italian. Vianna's eyebrows rose for a moment, blinking at the young man before she successfully fell into another fit of amused giggles, not only amused by her husband's accent but by the unexpectedness of the words, as well. It seemed that every time she was ready to get serious again, he'd attack her with more adorably chopped-up Italian that never failed to make her giggle, to grow completely amused, and her cheeks slowly began to turn the lightest shade of pink as she giggled joyously to herself. "Professorrr!" she complained between giggles, far too amused at the moment. "You don't want Gabe to have a middle name, do you?!" she accused, the amusement still bright on her features before she leaned in toward the young man and placed her lips upon his own. What was it about his accent completely ruining these Italian words that amused and endeared her so much? She wasn't sure, and neither did she care much at the moment; she just wanted to kiss him for being so unintentionally cute.

Ferris watched her with amusement sparkling behind his dark brown eyes for a long moment until she very suddenly broke out into another fit of melodious giggles, her cheeks turning the lightest shade of pink as she gathered more and more amusement from his horrible Italian-pronunciation. Obviously happy that he could make her laugh and smile as she was, the young man pulled her closer with a few soft chuckles escaping his own lips, listening as she complained out his favourite nickname and accused him of not wanting Gabe to have a middle name. "Of course I want him to have a middle name, I just like kisses!" he complained playfully, mock innocence on his expression as he shrugged with a soft chuckle. But it was then that Ferris grew distracted, his brown-eyed gaze focusing in on the sight of her leaning in towards him with that beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes. He couldn't help it, his heart jumped in his chest and suddenly he was kissing her enthusiastically, all of the loving in the world behind his gestures, pulling her into his chest more as he returned the kiss with a bit of a smile on his expression. But it was something about that beautiful face and those giggles and how perfectly pink her cheeks were... There was just something about her that got his heart to leap up in his chest and his mind to cloud over as he wanted nothing more than to just kiss her.

Vianna's own lips were curved into a smile as she shared that wonderful gesture with her husband, amusement still behind her smile, but endearment and loving both in it as well. She loved how easily he could amuse her, how difficult he made it for her to keep her lips away from his own; it was something she hoped would never die out, something that would continue defining their relationship for the rest of their time together.
Eventually, after a few long moments, the girl pulled back from their kiss with a bright smile, her crystal blue eyes fluttering open and sparkling brightly. She said nothing at first, merely admiring the face before her before speaking a few moments later, "So... which name did you like best, Professor?"

Ferris was completely dazed as Vianna broke apart from him, the warmest of smiles coming onto his pale expression then, brown eyes sparkling at the sight of the girl before him. He couldn't help but feel extremely content, entirely happy at that moment as he reflected on how he was able to make his wife laugh, how her cheeks had turned a wonderful pink colour. She was just so beautiful to him, completely and totally, and he shamelessly stared at her for a good few long moments before she spoke and broke the silence, asking which name he liked best. This took a while to sink in on the young man who seemed completely distracted by the girl before him, his brown eyes clouded over before he finally snapped out of it. He gave a sheepish chuckle, realizing how long it took him to come back to reality, before he said more seriously, "I can't choose."

Vianna's eyebrows rose when, after moments of anticipation, Ferris finally replied only to tell her he couldn't choose which name he liked best. The girl chuckled softly at this, shaking her head slightly at the young man with a mix of amusement and endearment on her features. "Alright well, I think I like the sound of 'Gabriel Adamo Montgomery'," said the girl, her expression now starting to turn thoughtful. "I also liked Marco but I don't think it blends well with 'Gabriel'… Gabriel Matteo sounds nice too, now that I think about it…" Her gaze absentmindedly fell to the kitchen floors, her brows furrowing slightly as she thought about their options. Choosing was turning out to be a little more difficult than she had expected. "Help me, Professor?" she asked softly after a couple moments of silence, turning her gaze back to the young man before her.

But he remained silent, listening as she explained that she liked Marco, but not necessarily with the name 'Gabriel' and that she also liked the name 'Gabriel Matteo'. The young man, not catching that it was his turn to speak, remained silent as he watched her, observing her beautiful face as she turned her expression to the floor thoughtfully. It was only when she asked for help on this that Ferris seemed to remember that he had vocal chords. He let out a soft chuckle, dimples coming out of hiding momentarily before he spoke, "I agree. I like Gabriel Adamo and Gabriel Matteo," he explained softly, still completely messing up the Italian. As he realized this, he flashed her a grin and let out a soft chuckle. "But I think I like Gabriel Adamo better."

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris mentioned their choices aloud once more, with the Italian bits of the name coming off completely wrong again, something that would never cease to amuse the girl. She was quick to turn serious again though, listening as Ferris explained he liked both options as well but preferred 'Gabriel Adamo' best. Vianna gave a bit of a grin at this, blue eyes beginning to sparkle enthusiastically. "I like it too," said the girl softly, happy to know they had finally come to a conclusion on this. "Gabriel Adamo Montgomery..." said the girl softly, a dreamy sort of tone to her voice.

Ferris's smile widened as Vianna agreed with him and mentioned that she too liked the name Gabriel Adamo Montgomery, saying it with sparkling blue eyes in that way that sounded so very pretty due to her natural way of saying things, especially all things Italian. "It's perfect," he murmured softly at the sound of Gabe's full name coming from his wife's rosy lips, gently leaning forward and pecking her lips lovingly with his own. "Now he's got a bit of Italian in his name too," the young man added playfully, obviously rather happy that half of Gabe's heritage could be so easily exposed in his middle name. "It's just all clouded over by my big fat English last name," Ferris added teasingly, though he honestly seemed rather amazed by Gabe's full name. Gabe Montgomery. That was his name. The name he had solely had for twenty years of his life and now it belonged to himself and Vianna and their precious baby boy. He couldn't deny that he loved it and it was clear in his expression that he was rather amazed by the fact that his last name was now attached to a little baby boy.

Vianna returned the peck kiss Ferris placed on her lips before the young man then went to mention that little Gabe now had a bit of Italian in his name too, something which got her bright smile to return, obviously quite happy to see some of her own culture and heritage in the little one's name. It was a pretty big deal to her that little Gabe would grow up to speak and understand not only the Italian language, but its culture and history as well; she didn't want him to be deprived from it, she wanted him to take as much pride in it as he would take pride in being English.
As Ferris then mentioned how the little one's name was clouded over by his 'big fat English last name', Vianna laughed with amusement. "I like your 'big fat English last name', though" the girl confessed with a smile.

Ferris gave a bit of a grin as Vianna let out a laugh with his statement, listening as she confessed to liking his big fat English last name. "Oh yeah?" he replied playfully, dimples coming out of hiding as he pulled her closer and kissed her cheek. "I'm glad that you have my big fat English last name and you like it," he admitted to her with sparkling brown eyes, thinking back to when attaching Montgomery to his wife's name sent a thrill through him at just the thought, back to the days when they were just engaged to one another, anxiously awaiting the day when Vianna would change her last name officially. And though nearly four years had passed by, the young man still loved the sound of Vianna Montgomery, loved that everyone on the planet would officially know that she was his and he was hers just by looking at their names. "Mrs. Montgomery..." he murmured playfully, pecking her lips lovingly. "Our fourth anniversary's coming up in just a few months..."

Vianna nodded her head as Ferris gave her an 'Oh yeah?', listening as he went on to add that he was glad she had his last name and liked it as well. The girl's smile widened slightly, her crystal blue eyes sparkling at the young man as a silence fell between the two of them before he spoke again, murmuring her new name playfully and reminding the girl that their fourth anniversary was coming up in just a few months. Vianna grinned at this. "Fourth anniversary... this is the first one we'll celebrate with a baby around," she said, rather fascinated by this. "And our first New Year's with a baby, too," she added.

Ferris's smile widened slightly as Vianna spoke, mentioning that this would be their first anniversary together with a baby around, that it would also be their first New Year's with a baby as well. His brown eyes sparkled at this, thinking on all of the firsts that would come with having a baby around. "No," he contradicted with an amused smile that just barely revealed his dimples. "These technically aren't our first holidays with Gabe. These are Gabe's first holidays; ever." He gave a bit of a grin at this, realizing that this first year would be filled with all of their baby's firsts when it came to holidays and seasons and experiences. "But you're right...It's the first round with all three of us in this little place of ours."

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris corrected her last statement, explaining that this wasn't just their first times with Gabe around, but little Gabe's first holidays as well. She smiled brightly at this, rather fascinated by the idea, by the reminder that their little baby was still so new to the world. "It's so exciting..." she said softly, her blue eyes absentmindedly admiring the features of the young man before her, beginning to get lost in that daze that came with just looking at him when, suddenly, the all too familiar cries of a wailing baby began to fill the air.
Vianna sighed softly and smiled faintly, her blue eyes meeting the young man's brown ones. "And there's little Gabriel Adamo," the girl announced the little one's new name with a soft chuckle before getting up to her feet, leaving the young man's lap and heading out the kitchen and up the steps to the second floor.

Ferris found himself going into a bit of a daze as his brown eyes locked on Vianna's blue ones, listening as she mentioned that this was all so exciting. He gave a warm smile at this, completely agreeing with it as he admired the sight of her so close to himself. "It's very exciting," he agreed aloud softly, pulling her a bit closer as he leaned in just slightly, about to kiss her when Gabe's cries began to echo through the house. Surprised by the sudden interruption, the young man immediately pulled back with raised eyebrows as though expecting to see some alarm that went off whenever he got too near to his wife. But of course, just moments later he remembered that it was little Gabe who was interrupting them and snapped out of his daze, giving a weak smile as Vianna got up from his lap and mentioned that there was little Gabriel Adamo now. Ferris gave a bit of a boyish grin at the sound of it, loving the ring that his full name had, before he decided to get up and follow her. But could he really be blamed? He and his wife had just brought home their baby yesterday, a beautiful baby boy that he adored more than he ever thought he could. It was only natural for the young man to want to see his baby more than necessary. And so he followed her up the stairs with a bit of a smile on his pale expression, following her into the nursery to help deal with the little baby boy wailing in his crib.

As Vianna reached the nursery door, she turned to find that Ferris had followed her upstairs, flashing the young man a smile and leaning on her toes to peck his lips gently before pulling back a second later. "Last one before Gabie hogs up all our attention," she explained of her peck kiss before chuckling softly and opening the door, walking into the nursery and turning on the lights. She walked over to the crib then, only to find their precious little boy waving his little arms and legs in the air, his cries louder than anything the couple had ever heard before, and his usually pink little face now a bright shade of red.

"Aw, bambino... Qual è il problema?" Vianna asked the little one as she took him into her arms, though it didn't take her too long after picking him up to realize what was the problem; the most foul of smells was slowly beginning to fill the air. "Ah, Gabe..." sighed Vianna before giving a weak chuckle. "You must go through five diapers a day!" she told the little one as she gently set him on the changing table, beginning to undo his diaper. But even though Vianna had learned the art of changing diapers by now, she wasn't nearly half as fast as Ferris was, as she didn't really have enough practice and experience yet, so little Gabe's cries didn't die out any time soon, not considerate of the way his wails affected his parents' hearing.

Ferris gave the warmest of smiles as Vianna leaned up on her toes to peck his lips, returning the gesture lovingly for the soft moment it lasted before listening as she explained that she just wanted to give him one last kiss before their baby boy hogged up all of their attention. He flashed her a grin before entering the room at her side, his smile falling as he caught sight of little Gabe wailing, his face bright red as the baby grew increasingly upset. "Aw, Gabe..." the young man murmured just as Vianna said practically the same thing in Italian, hardly noticing that they'd spoken in unison as he followed her over to the crib. And that was when the stench hit him horribly, just as it always did with Gabe's lovely presents. Ferris cleared his throat, his face cringing just slightly as he flashed his wife a weak smile and watched as she spoke to their baby, accusing him of using five diapers a day. "More like ten," the young man contradicted playfully, about to take the baby from her to change the diaper when Vianna decided to do it herself. His eyebrows rose slightly, though this was hardly that big of a deal. He knew that Vianna changed the diapers as well, he'd just gotten in the habit of doing it most of the time since he had a bit more experience with the art (hehe) and it was officially assigned to him during their sleeping hours. But he took on the duty of distracting little Gabe and calming his cries a bit faster, standing at Vianna's side and speaking with his baby boy in friendly tones (baby talk). "Gabie!" he murmured with a bit of a grin, dimples coming out of hiding. "What are you doing pooping your diaper like that?!" the young father asked playfully, continuing along with slightly exaggerated facial expressions.

Vianna felt relieved when Ferris began to baby-talk to their wailing little baby, successfully managing to distract the little one as she cleaned him up after removing the dirty diaper. Gabe watched his father with curious crystal blue eyes, staring at him blankly for a few moments before furrowing his brows at him. Vianna chuckled softly at the sight of this as she finished cleaning up the little one, now beginning to place a new, clean diaper around him. It took her a lot longer than it would've taken Ferris, obviously, but at the end the job was well done and their baby boy felt clean and refreshed once more. "I think he wants to know why Daddy's making so many funny faces," said Vianna as Gabe stared at his father questioningly, though had the baby learned how to smile or laugh by now, he probably would've been giggling joyously to himself, easily amused the way most babies were.
