| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: President duties?! (Bahahaha and I wouldn't have gone there unless you brought it up. Which you did. ) But don't worry about it, take your time! Ferris, oddly enough, had woken up about an hour before Gabe started wailing. For some reason, his body didn't want to take a nap. True, he was technically exhausted, but his body seemed to know that it was still daylight hours and decided that it didn't want to fall asleep for very long. And so, the young man had taken an hour-long nap before he'd woken up with a long yawn, getting up from the bed (after a kiss to Vianna's cheek) and headed into the nursery which was still entirely silent just to check on Gabe. After a couple minutes of just admiring his baby boy, the young man very suddenly had the urge to sketch out a portrait of Gabe; knowing that Vianna wanted one, but also because Gabe was just looking so adorable, so tiny in his crib. He'd spent the next hour in there, sketchbook in hand, watching as the baby slept so soundly in his crib, looking completely serene and adorable as he did so.
But then, after a good long while of Ferris sketching silently, thoughtfully, the infant in the crib began to squirm slightly, his adorable little face beginning to scrunch up slightly and grow red, tiny mouth opening and closing in a clear indication that he was about to let out the most ear-splitting of wails. Knowing that Vianna was asleep, the young father immediately got to his feet and set his sketchbook face down on his rocking chair, coming to tend to the tiny baby. "N-No Gabie, it's alright!" he tried to soothe the little guy in order to prevent the crying before it came about. But it was to no avail and Gabe let out the strongest of his wails just a moment later, moving his little arms and legs about as though this would help him get out the message to the world. "Aw, Gabe..." the young man murmured softly, reaching into the crib and very gently picking the baby up, bringing him over to his chest with a slight frown. "Shhhh..." he soothed softly, bouncing him slightly as he took on the task of quieting down the baby first so as to not wake Vianna. "You're gonna wake up Mummy and we don't want that," he murmured to the little guy with a weak smile. But Gabe didn't seem to want to listen to his father and his wails and cries were only quieted when Ferris determined that he needed a change of diaper (the smell was quite evident, unfortunately) and had set the baby on his changing table. Gabe, seeming to vaguely understand that his needs were being attended to, let his crying quiet slightly before coming to a complete stop as his father began to change out his stinky diaper for a new one. "There...That's alright now, Gabie. We'll get you a new diaper.." the young man promised with a bit of a soft chuckle, rather amused with the baby who now seemed content to stop crying once his needs were being met. Ferris glanced over his shoulder to the still-closed nursery door, hoping that the wails hadn't woken up his wife (as she had yet to enter) but was relieved that he'd at least stopped the crying.

ooc: HEY!!
Vianna was a little surprised to find that halfway through her walk across the hall, Gabe's cries had come to an end. She'd noticed Ferris wasn't in bed, but she'd assumed he was probably downstairs or something of the sort; in her sleepy state, it didn't occur to her that the young man might be in the nursery and was therefore the reason the baby boy had quieted down.
Vianna opened the door to the nursery then, her brows furrowed slightly as she remembered having left the door slightly open rather then fully closed, and walked inside. Her eyebrows rose slightly at the sight that greeted her, surprise clear on her features as she hadn't really been expecting Ferris to be there, already tending to the little baby. "Professor!" she exclaimed softly in surprise. "How long have you been up? I thought you might have gone downstairs," she said with a small smile, walking over to the young man and beaming at the sight of little Gabe as he had his diaper changed. "Hey there, Gabie. Up so soon?" she asked, her features still a little sleepy as she leaned in toward the little one and pecked his chubby little cheek gently.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Do you mind if I ask what you are a president of? Ferris looked up from fastening Gabe's diaper as Vianna entered the room, exclaiming his favourite nickname before asking how long he'd been up, explaining that she'd thought he had gone downstairs. He gave a soft chuckle at this, beginning to button up little Gabe's onesie, "I've been up for about an hour now," he admitted with a sheepish smile, watching with sparkling brown eyes as his wife leaned in to kiss their baby's chubby cheek sweetly. "I tried to keep his crying down so he didn't wake you up but I guess I wasn't fast enough..." he murmured with a soft chuckle, gently picking up the baby boy and holding him securely before his parents. Little Gabe stared back at them with crystal blue eyes, his little tiny eyebrows furrowing as they so often did. His eyebrows seemed to be one of the only things in his expression that he'd mastered controlling and every time he furrowed those tiny little brows it was the most adorable thing Ferris had ever seen; it made the baby look very much like a studious little Professor himself. "You're so cute!" the young man grumbled to his baby, quickly bringing him closer in order to plant a loving kiss to his chubby cheek. Gabe let out a bit of a cooing noise at this, his little hand coming to rest on his father's straight nose with another random babble out of his tiny mouth. "I know, you're very happy to not have a stinky diaper, huh? Yes you are, you precious little baby boy..." the young man cooed in return, lifting Gabe up in the air before bringing him back down and planting another sweet kiss to his cheek. And by the way his brown eyes sparkled at the infant, it was clear how much Ferris adored his little baby.

ooc: Oh I'm talking about my SS fan club president duties! -Points at tags above avvy- I wish I was president of a small country, but alas, politics was never my forte.
Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris explained to her he'd been up for about an hour and had tried to keep Gabe's crying down, though he had obviously not been very successful there. "It's alright," muttered the girl softly, watching as Ferris brought the baby up so Gabe could stare at his parents with brows slightly furrowed, a sight that got Vianna to fall into a fit of amused giggles. He was just so… cute and adorable, everything he did got the girl to melt away on the spot, her crystal blue eyes sparkling with pure adoration at the little boy who Ferris was now awarding kisses and cooing to. This only got Vianna's giggles to grow, all too amused with the way Ferris baby-talked to little Gabe, something that Vianna didn't really get to witness all that often before, but now that they had their own little baby, she got to see him acting like this and talking like this quite often.
And as amusing as it was, she loved it. She loved how much he loved their little baby, how clear the adoration and love was in his gaze as he admired their precious son. It was something that only got her love for him to grow, something that every time she witnessed, only made her fall in love with him all over again. And she couldn't help feeling incredibly lucky, lucky to have found a love like this, to be in a relationship like this, and to have this precious little family which was filled with so much love and adoration. It was the best thing in the world.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Ohhhhhh! Ok! I was like... What's Dee doin' being a president? I wasn't so much thinking of small countries but rather like... I dunno, smaller scale. *oohsandawwsattags* Ferris gave a warm smile at the sight of baby Gabe staring back at him with interested blue eyes that were so much like his mother's. But he was just so adorable, such a sweet and innocent little thing... The young man couldn't help but fall in love with the little guy, his brown eyes sparkling at him shamelessly for a long moment as Gabe simply blinked back at him, mouth opening and closing without real rhyme or reason. It was then that their baby boy very slowly reached out one of his little arms, head turning just slightly as he reached out a hand to his mother's expression, letting his little fingers rest on her eyebrow. "Oh you want your mummy?" the young man asked with a warm smile, letting out a soft chuckle, very gently handing off Gabe to his mother whom he stared up at with the same interested blue eyes.

ooc: Haha, yeah no.
Vianna was snapped out of her daze as she felt a tiny hand meet her face, her eyebrows raising slightly for a moment as her gaze fell upon a pair of crystal blue eyes that were so very much like her own, the warmest of smiles adorning her face at that moment, endearment on her features. "Awww, my little Gabe is paying me a visit?" she asked with mock surprise on her features before chuckling softly, very gently taking the tiny baby into her arms as Ferris handed him over. " Ciao, Gabe," the girl greeted him softly with the warmest of smiles, leaning in toward the little one and placing a loving peck kiss on his smooth little forehead. Vianna giggled lightly with amusement as Gabe took advantage of the proximity to run a curious little hand over the bridge of his mother's nose, then over her lips, apparently fascinated by the way his parents seemed to let out sounds from their mouths with such ease, when he himself could barely keep his mouth completely closed or open for too long at will. It was all still so new and complex to the little one who still had so much to learn.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Ferris admired the sight of Gabe in his mother's arms, the warmest of smiles coming onto his pale features as their baby studied his mother's expression, trying to understand the way her lips moved, how they smiled and why they emitted such complex noises to him. And suddenly, just watching them, the young man had a very immediate instinct to immortalize the sight in a picture; to draw them.
He was over to the rocking chair in a flash, immediately picking up his pencil and flipping to a blank page as his brown eyes flickered from his pencil's markings and the sight of Vianna and Gabe. But they were just so...charming to the young man who had never seen a sight so utterly perfect. Well, he'd always admired Vianna of course, but she was perfect in a very different way. This scene; Vianna and Gabe... It was perfect in the sense that it was sweet, that it was right, that it fit so well. It was his beautiful little family. And his brown eyes sparkled like they never had before as his hand began to scratch away at the paper, his pencil leaving behind distinct stroke marks of beautiful dark gray, slowly beginning to reveal a picture of sorts.

Vianna wasn't really aware of what Ferris was up to at first, as her crystal blue eyes and all of her attention was fixed on the adorable little baby that was resting on her arms, reaching out to her with his own little arms and hands, examining the texture of his mother's skin, the shape of her nose, before his little arms would return and try to find those same places on his own little face - his own chin, his own nose. But his movements were still clumsy, and he still didn't know himself well enough to find these places on his face right away on the first try. Vianna couldn't help but giggle as she watched all of this, completely endeared by this beautifully tiny and precious and innocent creature resting on her arms. He was the most beautiful thing in the world, and she was deeply disappointed by the fact that he was so fragile, as she wanted nothing more than to award him the tightest of hugs. But for now, kiss showers would have to do. So she did just that, leaning in toward the little baby and placing a kiss on his forehead, then on his cheeks, then on his tiny little nose. The baby cooed at her in return, his tiny hands reaching out to her; Vianna brought up her left hand and allowed the little baby to take her fingers into his grasp, allowing him to examine them, to try to figure out why they were so much longer and refined than his own.
It wasn't until a few long moments later that Vianna realized the nursery was unusually quiet, and she looked up from the baby in her arms to the young man who had settled on the rocking chair near the window. Her eyebrows rose slightly as she realized he was drawing in his sketchbook, something she hadn't witnessed in months, perhaps even over a year. "Do my eyes deceive me? Is my Professor actually drawing in his sketchbook?" she asked teasingly, an amused smile adorning her lightly tanned face.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris, whose brows had since furrowed in concentration, only broke out of his determined state of mind as Vianna broke the silence and asked playfully if her eyes were deceiving her, if her Professor was actually drawing in his sketchbook. "Why? Do you like the artsy types?" he responded playfully, flashing her a quirky grin with a soft chuckle before he continued to refine the rough sketch he'd created within the first couple minutes of starting. But it was true that the young man hadn't picked up his sketchbook much in about a year, and that definitely wasn't something he was proud of. He didn't like that he hadn't had time for one of his major hobbies, one that he used to enjoy so much. He had actually picked it up once or twice during Vianna's pregnancy (though she never saw it as the urges to sketch had come to him when she'd been fast asleep, one hand on her belly looking so peaceful) but he'd never actually done it frequently like he used to. But it felt good to be back with a pencil, he had to admit, and his brows furrowed slightly in concentration as he continued to hurriedly sketch out the rest of this portrait he was beginning to like more and more.

Vianna laughed lightly at Ferris's playful question, responding only with a simple "maybe" before returning her attention to the baby in her arms, who was holding one of her fingers in one hand, and another in his other little hand, his brows furrowed slightly. After a few more moments of this, the little one released his mother's fingers and instead brought his thumb up to his mouth, almost as if it was his own personal handmade pacifier, his blue eyes never leaving his mother's lightly tanned face, always watching her, examining all of her expressions and movements. "Y'know, I did once have a crush on this artsy kind of guy," said Vianna after a couple moments of silence, her index finger absentmindedly tracing over Gabe's tiny, soft features. "He'd draw me often during the first few years of our relationship. But then he kind of stopped a couple years after we married," she explained, as if this was someone else she was talking about and not her husband. "I think perhaps I'm not as inspiring to him as I once was, perhaps I've lost whatever he saw in me during those first few years," she said with an exaggerated sigh, obviously just playing around as she knew well that Ferris still loved her as much now as he did so many years ago, if not more. "I wonder if maybe now that Gabe's around he'll get back to drawing and painting... I always liked to watch him paint, it was soothing," she added a little less playfully and a little more honestly. But it was true; the girl had always enjoyed watching Ferris paint, it was something that never ceased to amaze her, the way he was able to capture light so easily and blend colours so well. She had always loved being his subject as well, hence why Mrs. Vincenzi had come to him years ago with the request of painting her daughter; painted portraits of family members had always been tradition in the Vincenzi family, and Vianna had always hated having her portrait painted. She hated staying still, she hated having to stare at a stranger and sit for hours, so she always gave her parents a hard time whenever they hired a new artist. But when it was Ferris... she loved letting him paint her. She much preferred to stare at him than a stranger, and he always let her move around, and talk, and laugh, and do all the things she liked; and even so, he was always able to successfully get a still picture of her. She didn't know how he did it, but it always fascinated her, and she always enjoyed being involved in his artistic practice.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor The young man fell into silence as the moments passed by, the only sounds in the room being Gabe's cooing and the sound of his pencil scratching against the paper of his sketchbook, until the girl across the room spoke, mentioning casually that she once had a crush on an artsy guy. His eyebrows rose at this, his pencil pausing on the page as a soft smile filled his features, still staring at the page as she began to explain that this 'guy' had drawn her a lot during the first few years they were together but had stopped just a couple years after they got married; that she assumed the guy didn't find inspiration in her as he did back then. Ferris's smile fell at her words, his brown eyed gaze suddenly turning guilty as they stared at the page, pencil unmoving for a long moment. He understood that she was just teasing him, but it still brought an uncomfortable twang to the bottom of his stomach, the realization that he could've given his wife the idea that perhaps he'd grown tired of drawing because he no longer found inspiration in his subject. He frowned as she continued, listening as she expressed her wonders if that artsy guy would start up his sketching and painting since Gabe was around, that she'd always found watching him paint to be soothing.
Brows furrowing so very much like Gabe's did, the young man got up from his seat and crossed the room only to slip his arms around Vianna's waistline comfortably. He waited a moment, the only sounds in the room being Gabe's soft cooing and the sound of hsi gentle breathing at her side. "You know better than that, don't you Vi?" he asked her ear gently, his voice soft, almost hesitant. But he really, really didn't like the idea that she could even think that he stopped sketching because he'd grown tired with his only subject. "You know I just...I didn't have time anymore..." But this last year had been extremely crazy, what with the bookstore's business starting to grow more and more, Vianna's pregnancy, working two jobs each week... It was a lot on the young man and all he seemed to want when he got home was food, sleep, and a kiss from his wife.

Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly with surprise as Ferris suddenly stopped sketching, getting up from the rocking chair that stood close to the window and making his way over to her. Vianna's brows furrowed slightly at the words he spoke, and it was at that moment that it dawned on her that her words hadn't been as comical to him as she had meant them to be. "Professor," she said, her forehead creasing slightly before she turned around in his arms, little Gabe still in her own. Now that he was between his parents, Gabe allowed his gaze to travel from his mother over to his father, and back and forth as the two spoke, curiosity behind his gaze. "I wasn't being serious," she explained. "I know you've been busy, I understand that," she said, not wanting him to think she was honestly upset about him not drawing her in so long. She knew he was busy; it's not like she could really do all that much modeling for him anyway, as she also had her own job and worked with him at the bookstore as well. "Please don't think I'm upset or don't understand why you've stopped painting," she asked of him softly, unable to help feeling a little guilty. She leaned on her toes then, placing a kiss on the young man's lips gently, and pulling back with a small but still slightly worried smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's eyebrows rose sightly as Vianna turned around in his arms with the mention of his favourite nickname, her blue eyes suddenly locking onto his own in a way that made it impossible to look away. He gave a faint smile as she explained that she hadn't been serious, that she knew that he was busy, that she understood that. "I know..." he murmured softly, understanding that she truly wasn't upset with him. But he didn't like the thought of that, the mere idea of Vianna thinking that he'd lost his admiration for her to the extent that he'd stop drawing altogether. But he listened silently as she asked that he not think she was upset or didn't understand why he'd stopped painting, those blue eyes looking slightly guilty. His smile warmed up slightly at her words, returning the kiss she placed on his lips lovingly, his brown eyes fluttering closed for the moment it lasted before they broke apart and he was left watching the sight of her beautiful expression. "I know that you were kidding," he promised her softly, pulling her and Gabe a bit closer to himself. "It's just..." the young man trailed off for a moment and he let out a soft sigh, "I just...I don't want you to ever even let it slip into your mind that just because I'm not painting you all the time..." one of his hands drifted up to cup her jaw, very gently stroking her cheek absentmindedly. "...th-that doesn't mean that I don't think about you every second of the day...that I don't..think of you to be just as...beautiful and inspiring and... perfect as I've always thought you were."

Vianna listened quietly and attentively as Ferris explained to her that he knew she had just been kidding, but that he just didn't want her to ever believe that he didn't still find her as beautiful and inspiring and perfect as he'd always thought she was. These words got Vianna's lips to curve into a warm smile, her cheeks slowly turning just the lightest shade of pink, and the skin beneath his gentle hand suddenly turning warmer, more aware of his presence there. She said nothing, though, a sort of dazed and charmed expression taking over her features as she gazed up at the young man before her, her crystal blue eyes sparkling brightly, the way they so often did whenever he charmed her.
The silence was only interrupted a few moments later as Gabe cooed questioningly from Vianna's arms, pulling his thumb from his mouth and reaching out to his parents with his tiny arm, as if questioning them, why they had fallen so quiet. Vianna was snapped back to reality then, and her gaze left Ferris's as she glanced down at her baby with a bright smile. "You saw that, Gabe? There goes your dad trying to make your mummy blush again," she told the little one who now watched her curiously, listening to her words though he didn't understand them.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's brown eyes began to sparkle as he felt her cheek warm beneath his touch, his gaze turning a bit clouded as he noticed the pink coming into her beautiful expression, her blue eyes sparkling at him in that way that got him to melt on the spot. He wanted nothing more than to just stand there and watch her staring at him like that, to spend his entire life feeling the way she made him feel when he realized that Vianna was staring at him like that; that he was the one she was sparkling those beautiful eyes at. He'd never felt anything so powerful as that feeling of receiving her affections, of sharing an intimate gaze with the woman who meant the world to him. But before he could lean in and kiss her lips as he so wanted to, the little baby boy in between them started making inintelligable noises, as though questioning them.
Ferris's eyebrows rose at this, snapping out of his daze as he gave a bit of a sheepish chuckle, listening as Vianna spoke to the little one and mentioned that his daddy was trying to make his mummy blush again. He flashed her a grin at these words, letting out a soft chuckle as Gabe merely stared back blankly. "Maybe I would have the opportunity to act on that blush if you weren't holding a cute little baby in your arms..."

Vianna looked up from the baby in her arms as Ferris spoke, mentioning how he'd have the opportunity to act on that blush of hers if she wasn't holding a baby in her arms. The girl smiled at this with a hint of amusement on her features, a bit of playfulness in it as well. She remained like this for a couple moments, just watching the young man quietly before turning back to the baby in her arms. "Five minutes, Gabe," she asked of him before turning and very gently and carefully setting the little one on his crib and placing a kiss on his cheek. Gabe returned his thumb to his mouth then, and merely watched Vianna with curious blue eyes before his mother disappeared from his line of sight as she returned to her full height. The girl flashed her husband another smile then and, without hesitation or delay, leaned on her toes, just enough to allow her lips to reach his own as gently and lovingly as she could.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris merely raised his eyebrows at the girl before him as she stared back at him, as though to say, 'Yes, I'm seriously offering this'. He practically beamed as she then informed their baby boy that they would be needing five minutes, a comment that sort of got his heart to leap in his chest in a way that made him feel a little silly for still being excited to receive a kiss. But kissing Vianna never got old, was always something that he looked forward to receiving, and he watched with the warmest of amused smiles as she set Gabe down in his crib. Before he could do it himself, Vianna had leaned up onto her toes in order to plant the sweetest of kisses onto his lips, something that he couldn't help but adore as he was once more reminded of their height difference. His lanky arms immediately slipped around her waist in order to pull her closer, returning the kiss as lovingly as he could as he relished in the feel of her so close to himself. Had she always fit this perfectly into his arms? She seemed to be made to fit there, like her body was the perfect shape to fit into his own and it felt so smooth, so wonderful to have her right there next to him as he returned the kiss with a sense of hunger he hadn't felt for what felt like ages.

Vianna's lips were curved slightly into a smile as the young man before her began to return the kiss she awarded him, though she couldn't bring herself to focus even slightly on forming a smile. No, all of her attention was on her lips, on her husband's own lips, on his arms around her waist, and on how wonderful it felt to be kissing him again, to be sharing a gesture they had both clearly been craving. She had been deprived of this for far too many long months; first due to her large belly, and now due to the fact that they had a baby who needed their attention every couple hours, and the time between his cries, the couple had to spend catching up on their sleep, cleaning, cooking, or doing something else that was, unfortunately, not kissing. So when they finally had the chance to kiss again like this, without a baby crying, without drowsiness, without a meal waiting to be cooked... it was like heaven; and it sent the girl off into a world of bliss, a world she hadn't been to in far, far too long.
Her arms wrapped around his neck, keeping the young man close, wanting nothing more than to be as close to him as possible, to make this wonderful kiss last as long as possible. She didn't just want it; she felt she needed it; she needed this proximity and this satisfying gesture. After so many months of having a mind only for the coming baby, the girl needed this loving and soothing gesture more than she had needed it ever before.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris hadn't felt this close to his wife in a long, long time. It was now and truly now when he realized that all of those pecks hadn't helped him at all, all of those little short dinky kisses weren't enough to make him feel this way. He needed kisses like these, kisses where he could so evidently show his wife how much he loved her without holding anything back, without worrying about anything else on the planet. There was nothing else for him to do, nothing that needed to get done, and his mind couldn't have possibly focused on that anyway. His mind was on Vianna, on the craving in her gesture that so perfectly matched his own. He treated her with as much love as he could, his lips powerful but extremely gentle on her own, treating her with a passion that he hadn't felt build up inside of him in months. Ferris was suddenly pulling her closer, he was forgetting about everything else in the entire world as he deepened their kiss on instinct, his mind numb to anything but the feel of her lips on his own. He wasn't sure what had gotten into him, wasn't sure why it was now of all times that he suddenly needed to kiss her like this, but it was.

Vianna's smile grew slightly beneath Ferris's lips as the young man pulled her closer, but she was barely aware of it. Had kissing him always felt this wonderful? She was sure it had, but this time... this time was different. This time they had really been deprived of this wonderful gesture for months, and the peck kisses that had been given between their last real kiss and now were nothing that all added up together could compare to the gesture the couple was sharing now. It was pure bliss to be able to kiss her husband like this, she'd missed it more than she thought it possible to miss someone's lips. And even after running out of breath, the girl would only pull back slightly to take a breath before returning her lips to the young man's as if there hadn't been the slightest interruption. But she didn't want the kiss to come to an end just because they had run out of breath, she needed it to last more than just a few seconds or a minute, that would hardly be enough to feed her current appetite.
And so it wasn't until much much later, minutes or hours for all that Vianna knew, that the girl finally pulled back for good, returning to her original height and allowing her crystal blue eyes to flutter open. She smiled brightly at the sight that greeted her, her blue eyes sparkling brightly at the young man before him, the daze evident in their blue hue. She had no words at the moment, her mind still too numb to think straight, to focus on anything that wasn't the wonderful feeling that came with sharing an amazing kiss with her husband.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris hadn't felt this good in a long time, hadn't felt this blissfully happy in what felt like ages. But there was just something about a kiss with his wife that refreshed his mind, that made him feel almost giddy inside and made him never want to let her go. And as they broke apart and his brown eyes fluttered open, the young man's entire expression lit up in the warmest of smiles, his dimples coming out of hiding as his gaze fell onto her beautiful blue eyes sparkling back at him. "Mmm..." he murmured softly in a contented sigh, giving a soft, almost happily-flustered chuckle as he kept his wife right up against his chest, one of his hands coming up to hold her jaw sweetly. "I've missed being able to just sort of..." he bit his lip slightly as he tried to think of the word before he simply leaned in and planted a warm, much shorter kiss to her rosy lips. "Do that." He let out another light laugh, his arm snug around her slender waist as he allowed one hand to rest on the small of her back, his thumb just barely beneath the bottom of her long sleeved shirt just for the sake of feeling her smooth skin. And it was quite obvious that Ferris was happy, pretty evident by the way that his smile filled up his entire expression that being this close to Vianna was what he truly wanted.

Vianna was still a little dazed as she watched the young man before her, listening as he explained that he had missed being able to just kiss her, proving his point by placing his lips upon her own in a kiss the girl was quick to return as lovingly as she could, her blue eyes closing for the brief moment it lasted before fluttering open once again. She let out a soft and almost dreamy sigh, resembling an awful lot that sixteen-year-old schoolgirl Ferris had met around seven years ago. But every time they kissed like that, it took the girl back to those days, back to the times when their love was still so fresh and new.
"I've missed it too, Professor," the girl confessed softly, delayed by a few seconds, her blue eyes still sparkling brightly. "Did you always kiss that well or have you been practicing to leave your wife completely dazed?" she asked, raising her eyebrows playfully at the young man before chuckling softly at her own words.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris couldn't help but admire the sight of his wife's blue eyes sparkling at him like that, her entire tanned expression lighting up as she looked up at him in that way that got his heart to flip in his chest. There was just something about those kisses that just brought him back to that awkward seventeen-year-old; that guy who was new to all of this but every little touch made his heart race and every single kiss was more mind-blowing than the last. He didn't allow any space between them as he admired the sight of the girl before him, loving the feel of her so close as he listened to her admit that she had missed their kisses too. Ferris gave a bit of a grin at this statement, listening with sparkling eyes the colour of melted chocolate as Vianna asked if he'd always kissed that well or if he'd been practicing to leave his wife completely dazed. The warmest of his goofy grins fell onto the young man's expression at that statement, letting out a soft chuckle as he admired the sight of her. "I should be asking you the same thing, gem," he grumbled to her playfully. "I don't quite remember your lips being so..." He bit his lip slightly as he let out a soft chuckle, his smile turning sheepish as he pulled her even closer. "..I suppose addictive would be the right word..." he murmured softly as he leaned his forehead on her own.

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris playfully replied that he should be asking her the same thing, that he didn't remember her lips being so addictive. "Are they?" asked the girl with raised eyebrows, a hint of playfulness on her features. "Good, I'm glad to see the feeling's mutual," she confessed with a smile which widened as his forehead came to rest against her own. She couldn't wipe the smile from her face at this point, and she couldn't stop her blue eyes from sparkling as brightly as they did at that moment. She was feeling rather... giddy, happy, far too much like the teenager she no longer was. And it was a great feeling; it felt wonderful to know they could still be brought back to the days when they'd first met, to the days when these sort of dazes were nothing uncommon. Vianna was quiet for the next few long moments, feeling no need to say more. Words seemed unnecessary at this point; all they needed to say had already been said through that wonderful kiss, and right now all the girl wanted was to admire the brown eyes she loved so much, the straight nose she hoped little Gabe would inherit, the lips she could never get enough of. She just wanted to freeze time and stay right there, just admiring all the features she loved so mu--
And then came Gabe's cries.
Feeling abandoned and neglected (it had been way over the five minutes his mother had promised him), the little one let out a blood-curling wail that made it very clear to his parents that he was still in the room, and that despite the little bubble they'd sort of lost themselves in, they still had a newborn to take care of.
Vianna sighed softly, very abruptly snapped out of her daze as the cries deafened her ears. "Back to parentland we go," she said with a soft, brief chuckle, though there was bit of disappointment in her features before she turned around and took the crying baby into her arms.
ooc: I'm off for now Rutherss, Byeee!

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Awww alright bye for now Deeee Derupersss! Ferris hadn't felt this lost in his wife's blue eyes in a long time, and it felt so good to just focus on the person that was the world to him, that was the one and only love of his life. It'd felt like far too long since he'd last been able to just admire her in that way, to simply stand right before her and stare into those big blue eyes that he loved so much. But just as he was getting used to this wonderful happiness, this blantantly sweet pure joy, Gabe cried. Gabe let out a strong, long, room-shattering wail that bounced off of every wall and officially broke the young man out of his daze. Letting out a soft sigh and a weak smile, he very reluctantly released Vianna's waist so she could go and pick up their baby boy, knowing very well that they couldn't just ignore their baby. But it was hard to have their alone time and give Gabe the attention he deserved, it was something Ferris had never had to do before. Of course, they'd had events and holidays with their friends and family during which affection and lovey-dovey gazes had to be put on the back burner. But when they got home, it was just the two of them, all alone once more as they'd had it throughout their relationship. They'd never actually had more than just the two of them permanently at home and so he was still not used to being interrupted and having his moments with Vianna being disturbed. And of course he didn't feel any resentment towards Gabe, how could he possibly feel anything near that? He loved having the baby around, he very truly did with every fiber of his being. He was just a baby and he deserved every ounce of attention he received. But... Ferris still wasn't used to sharing his Vianna, and it was something he was just going to have to get used to; something they'd have to get used to as a couple.
The young man gave a bit of a grin as he caught the disappointed look on his wife's expression and he slipped his arm around her once more from behind. "If you think for even one second that I'm not going to kiss you like that the next chance I get then you're mad," Ferris murmured to her ear with a lopsided smile, kissing her cheek sweetly before releasing her once more and kissing little Gabe's forehead. "Yes, I know, don't worry baby boy, your parents are now paying attention to you once more," he assured the baby with a soft chuckle.
