Default That Summer - V.5!

This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna was finding it increasingly difficult to control her squirming as Ferris's lips quickly made their way up her neck and to her ear, a couple giggles still escaping her lips as he then began to speak in French right in her ear, completely fascinating the girl who always grew so easily charmed and dazed just by the sound of this foreign language which rolled off his tongue so smoothly, so flawlessly. "And... wh--what does that mean, Professor?" she asked, having a bit of difficulty speaking clearly and concentrating when the young man's lips were now being so unforgiving to her tanned skin, kissing the girl in a way that always left her completely dazed, unable to think logically for too long before she was sent off into a cloud of pure bliss.

Ferris gave a soft chuckle, his warm breath falling onto her tan skin as she asked in a stutter what his French words had meant. But he was a little distracted, completely set on sending Vianna off in happiness, to make her feel how loved she was by him, how much he adored her. "Does it really matter?" was his only playful response, practically a whisper as he continued his kisses with a bit of a quirky grin on his pale face. It felt good to kiss his wife again. And that sounded weird because he'd never really stopped kissing his wife for any period of time. But these kisses were different in a way, because he was just kissing Vianna; just his Vianna. There was no fragile baby in between them, nothing to keep him from pulling her as close as he could. It was different, and it was freeing, and it was so wonderful after months of caution around his wife.

Vianna gave a soft, distracted chuckle as Ferris merely asked her if it really mattered what he'd just said; and that was as far as her attention to anything that wasn't his lips would go, completely distracted by the feel of them on her skin, by all the feelings and thoughts each loving gesture expressed. And she, too, couldn't help but feel like they hadn't had a chance to kiss, to really just kiss and express their love in ages; so this felt refreshingly new and even more wonderful than usual, curving the girl's lips into a smile as she pulled away just slightly, just enough to turn her head and surprise the young man at her side with her lips landing gently upon his own.

Ferris seemed to feel how nice this was for the both of them, how sweet it was for it to be just them once more. And it wasn't that he didn't love when Gabe was in Vianna's belly, he always loved Gabe's presence, but this was just the two of them, something they'd been lacking subconciously for a while. It was just good in a different way, a way that had a lot more freedom to it as the young man realized that his wife wasn't so fragile anymore, that she was returning to that familiar waistline he knew so well, that there wasn't any space between them. And then, just as he was considering lightening up on the heavy kisses, Vianna had very suddenly turned her head and placed her beautiful expression right before him. Surprised, the young man hardly had a reaction before he was kissing his wife, her lips finding his own and beginning a bit of a frenzy within the poor guy who really couldn't resist her when she was so close to him, smelling as sweet as she always did, looking so beautiful to him.

Vianna's smile only grew as Ferris began to return her loving kisses, though it soon faded as she became a little more focused on this wonderful gesture she was sharing with her husband, with how great it felt to kiss him like this, completely carefree, completely free of worries about hurting a baby or her belly or anything of the sort. It was a wonderful feeling she couldn't help feeling like she hadn't experienced in years rather than just a few months. Eventually, after a few long moments of this, the girl pulled back with the brightest of smiles, her crystal blue eyes sparkling brightly. She watched the young man before her for a moment before leaning in again and pecking his lips gently, finding it a little difficult to stay away for too long. "I've missed you," she said, though she meant not a physical absence, but the absence of... this. Of his lips, and his kisses, and this carefree feeling they had been deprived of for so long.

As their wonderful kiss came to an end, the young man's dark brown eyes slowly fluttered open only to see his wife before him, obviously completely dazed by this feeling he hadn't had in months, this carefree sort of spontaneity. Before anything could really be said, Vianna had leaned in and pecked his lips sweetly, a gesture that he returned lovingly for the moment that it lasted before listening as she told him she missed him. Ferris grinned at this statement, pulling her closer to himself on the couch and feeling her familiar form beneath his touch, one hand on her waist as the other wrapped around the small of her back, feeling how slender she was to his chest, how comfortable that was to him. "I missed you a lot more than I should've for somebody who never left," he admitted in a playful grumble, a warm smile falling onto his pale expression as he admired the sight of her, his forehead resting on her own as they sunk back into their comfortable couch. "And I missed being able to bring you so close and pick you up and kiss you like that..." But it felt so good to have her so close, so natural and sweet, the way that he'd held her for years before Gabe had come into the picture.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris confessed that he had missed her as well, more than he should have for someone who never left. "Well I'm glad I'm not the only one," said the girl with an amused smile, honestly glad that this feeling in their relationship was mutual and not a one-sided thing. She listened as he then continued, sharing with her how much he'd missed being able to bring her close and pick her up and kiss her the way he'd just had, something which got the girl to smile warmly. "I missed that too, Professor," she replied, her crystal blue eyes sparkling brightly and lovingly at him, a sort of daze in their gaze. She'd almost forgotten how amazing it felt to be so close to him, to kiss him without a worry in the world; it was the most wonderful feeling, one she treasured greatly and hoped never to be left without again. The girl's right hand came up then, meeting the young man's brown curls the way it so often did, relishing in the feel of their soft texture running between her fingers. "I'm so glad Gabe inherited your curls," she confessed softly, her smile widening to a bit of a grin.

And then, just as Fervi were getting comfortable and lazy and just plain happy in each other's company, the all too familiar sound of crying began to echo from the second floor, a sound Vianna had not been expecting at all and was a little startled by. But if Fervi thought they would honestly just get the chance to be blissfully mushy while their baby slept, they were in for a big surprise ( )! It wasn't going to be that easy, and these moments of calm and tranquility would only last a few minutes if they were lucky. Gabe wasn't going to let them off the hook that easy. Vianna's grin turned into a weak smile at that moment, a soft chuckle escaping her lips at this interruption. "I better go check on him," she decided, leaning in toward the young man and pecking his lips gently. "I'll be back," she said, flashing him another smile before leaving his side and getting up from the couch, quickly making her way up the stairs to the second floor.

OOC:

Ferris was just letting his brown eyes sparkle shamlessly at the girl before him, holding her right up against her torso as she suddenly let her slender fingers find their way up to his hair. He let out a soft sigh of content at the mere feel of that, his grin turning a bit more goofy as she mentioned how happy she was that Gabe inherited his curls. The young man beamed at the comment, admiring her for a long moment and simply feeling her fingers in his hair blissfully, "I'm really glad that Gabe inherited your eyes..." he countered with an amused smile, slowly leaning down to place a playful kiss to her collarbone. And just as he was an inch away, so close to her beautiful, smooth skin, the most terrible of cries filled the air; that of their baby boy.

The young man let out a sigh at this, a weak smile coming onto his features as Vianna mentioned that she needed to go check on him. "Alright," he murmured, knowing that they couldn't just leave their baby crying upstairs, little Gabe was distressed about something. He returned the peck lovingly for the all-too-short moment it lasted before reluctantly releasing her waist and watching as his wife got up and headed towards the stairs. Ferris let out a sigh to himself, running a hand through his curls as he thought about how much, exactly, Gabe would be crying everyday.

Vianna was up and in Gabe's nursery room in only a matter of seconds, quickly making her way over to the crying figure in the crib and taking him into her hands, wrapping a blanket around him as she picked him up. "Aw, qual è il problema, bambino?" Vianna asked the little one softly as he wailed loudly and fussed in her arms, clearly in distress for who knows what reason. But Vianna had a faint idea of what might be wrong - Gabe hadn't eaten since before they left the hospital. The baby must've obviously been hungry. And so she made her way over to the rocking chair that was near the window with little Gabe still comfortably in her arms, feeding the little one, admiring the sight of him calm now, with his crystal blue eyes closed. "You're so cute, you know that, Gabe?" said the girl softly to the tiny baby, rocking gently on the chair, just admiring the sight of this precious being, her right hand absentmindedly caressing his smooth skin lovingly, relishing in the feel of it.

Ferris, who hadn't been sure of what was wrong, grew slightly worried as Vianna took longer than five minutes to return, though Gabe's wails had stopped just a couple minutes after her arrival in the nursery. Still, it didn't occur to the young man that perhaps she was feeding Gabe, his mind not particularly logical for once as he decided to climb the stairs and join his wife and son who were proving to be rather difficult to stay away from. He entered the nursery, rolling up the sleeves of his sweater until his eyes drifted up to see Vianna in her rocking chair, feeding their little baby boy. He gave a faint smile at the sight of such a loving expressino on his wife's beautiful face before he walked over and kissed her forehead. "So everything's okay up here?" he asked as he started towards the changing table to make sure everything was back in its place since the first emergency change they'd had.

Vianna looked up as Ferris entered the nursery room, smiling warmly as he placed a kiss on her forehead before heading over to the changing table. "Yeah, everything's fine. He was just hungry," the girl explained softly, her gaze returning to the little baby resting comfortably in her arms, taking longer than she'd expected to fill himself up. And it wasn't until around fifteen or twenty minutes later that he pulled away, yawning and fussing in his blanket. Vianna leaned in toward him, placing a loving peck kiss on his forehead before fixing up her shirt (she'd removed the sweater). "I think it's time he took a bath," said the girl as she got up to her feet, little Gabe still fussing and cooing in her arms, full of energy now that he'd taken a long nap and had been fed. "You haven't taken a bath since yesterday!" she added, this time addressing the baby. "What a dirty boy you are, Gabe," she teased him, chuckling softly before placing another kiss on his soft, smooth cheek.

OOC: I've gotta get off for about an hour Deeee Derupersss!

Upon realizing that there really wasn't much for him to do in the nursery (he couldn't particularly be of much help when Gabe was being fed), Ferris had wandered out of the room as he realized that he had no idea where his art supplies were. He'd just been thinking about it, recalling Vianna's request from earlier in the day, and recognized that he hadn't seen them in months! Just as he was coming back up the stairs to search in their bedroom, he caught the voice of his wife speaking with little Gabe, deciding that it was time for their little baby to have a bath. The young man let out a soft chuckle as he listened to her mention that he hadn't had a bath since the day before, and quickly forgot his search for pencils as he entered the nursery. "Do you need some assistance washing your baby, ma'am?" he asked with an amused smile.

ooc: Nvm my VM, then.

Vianna was admiring the adorable little baby she had been addressing, her index finger playfully tapping the tip of his tiny nose, in turn causing the little baby's curious hands to wrap around her finger, examining it closely with inquisitive blue eyes. Vianna giggled lightly at this, amused and completely endeared by just how precious their little boy was, just as Ferris entered the nursery, asking if she needed assistance washing her baby. The girl chuckled softly with amusement at his formal tones before nodding her head in response. "That would be lovely, thank you," replied the girl playfully with a soft chuckle, walking over toward the boy and pecking his lips gently before making her way out of the nursery room at a slow pace, a thoughtful expression on her face. "How should we go about this? The bathtub?" she asked, turning to Ferris.

OOC:

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna did as well, glad to see that his formal tones could bring a smile to that face he loved so much. He returned the sweet peck she placed on his lips before his brown eyes fell to little Gabe, watching as he and his mother walked past him and out into the loft area, wondering aloud if they should go about this whole bath thing in a bathtub. "Well it is called a bathtub," the young man reminded her teasingly, flashing her a bit of a grin that revealed his dimples momentarily before he gently kissed her cheek and then kissed Gabe's forehead. "I think the bathtub would be our best bet," he decided more seriously, amusement sparkling behind his gaze as he led the way through their room and into their bathroom, making his way to the bathtub that was separate from their stand up shower. It wasn't anything all that special, but it was a tub with four little legs, freestanding and pearly white in their medium-sized bathroom. "You ready for your first bath, Gabie?" Ferris asked the baby in his wife's arms as he turned on the warm water to start filling up the tub.

OOC: Posts might be a bit slow, I'm kinda in the middle of something...

Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly as Ferris teased her about the bathtub being called so for a reason, though she merely shook her head slightly at him, not really having been very sure since Gabe was still so incredibly tiny and the bathtub was so large; she'd never bathed a baby before and saw that some parents went about bathing newborns in the sink instead, where it was easier to hold them. The girl smiled as his lips then met her cheek and Gabe's forehead before following his lead over to their bedroom. "Look Gabe, this is mummy's and daddy's room," said Vianna to the little one, just then realizing that Gabe hadn't really seen the rest of the house. "And this is their bathroom," she continued as she followed Ferris into the bathroom, pretty much giving Gabe a tour of the house. The baby gazed around curiously, though he was barely really able to make much of what he saw, and most of the things just simply made no sense to him, he'd never seen anything like this before, he wasn't even a whole day old yet!

"I should probably undress him in the room," muttered Vianna thoughtfully, more to herself than anyone else as she gazed around the bathroom and realized there wasn't really anywhere she could place Gabe to undress him. So she walked back out into the bedroom then, gently setting the tiny baby in her arms onto the warm sheets, flashing him the brightest and most loving of smiles as she did so. "Sei entusiasta di fare un bagno, Gabe?" Vianna asked the little one as she removed the blanket from around him and then pulled his tiny booties off. She beamed at the sight of his tiny little feet, so tiny that they seemed like they should belong to a doll instead. They were a light shade of pink, and felt perfectly smooth and soft in the girl's hands. She paused for a moment there, merely admiring the sight of little Gabe's feet which she hadn't really had a chance to see before, admiring how tiny and smooth and perfectly adorable they were. "Aw, Gabe..." she said softly, sneaking a kiss onto his cheek before moving on to undo his light green onesie. "I bet you're excited to change into some new clothes too, no? You've got drawers full of clothes! More than your mummy and daddy combined!" shared the girl as she continued to undress the little one very gently and carefully, removing his diaper last and disposing of it before taking the naked baby into her arms and heading back into the bathroom.

Ferris, who hadn't really thought of the alternative to the bathtub like Vianna had, was slowly growing more concerned as he filled up the tub with a small layer of warm water. How was this supposed to work!? The tub was so big and Gabe was so small that he could just slide around or topple over if their grips around him became too loose! He was just a day old, how stupid was he to think that his little baby could be bathed in a huge bathtub!? Brows furrowed, he was just about to announce his defeat to Vianna when she entered the room with a naked baby in hand, and he gave a sigh. "Maybe you were right..." he admitted softly, sure that his wife would get no better kick out of a statement then she did when he told her she was right (or rather, that she had won something, even if it was a debate they hadn't really had). "I dunno, I don't want him to slip and slide around too much..." He glanced back at the bathtub with a thoughtful expression.

But Vianna saw no game or competition in little Gabe's bath, or anything that had to do with the baby, really. She would have teased Ferris any other day, about any other subject, but this time she merely furrowed her brows slightly, listening attentively as Ferris explained to her that he didn't want the baby to slip and slide around too much. "Yeah, I think it's still a little bit too early for Gabe to be in the tub," said Vianna softly, glancing around for an alternative. "I can't believe we hadn't thought about this before," she said with a soft chuckle, shaking her head slightly. "Remind me to get Gabe a little... baby tub or something to fill with water that we can place him in next time we go to town," she said. "But for now, Gabe, it seems you might have to be bathed in the sink," she added, this time addressing the adorable little baby resting in her arms, who was now beginning to fuss and show a hint of distress on his features as he clearly didn't appreciate being held in the nude when the house was so chilly. Though the house actually wasn't all that cold, but since Gabe was still so tiny and young, his body didn't really control his temperature as well as an adult's did. "I think the sink in the kitchen would be a little more comfortable, it's larger," said Vianna, turning back to Ferris. She felt a little funny about this, about washing her baby like he was just another dirty plate or something; though she knew the kitchen sink was in perfect condition and sparkling clean; she was, after all, the one in charge of keeping the kitchen spotless.

OOC: Bahahaha... "In the nuuuuddddeeeee!"

Ferris listened as Vianna agreed that the tub was a bit too big for a day-old baby before asking him to remind her to get a little baby bathtub or something of the sort the next time they got into town. He nodded at this, quickly letting the water of the tub before listening as she decided that the kitchen sink would be best as it was a bit bigger than all of their other ones, and the young man couldn't help but chuckle softly at how this situation was turning out. "Alright Gabie, you're gonna be stuck in the sink," Ferris announced playfully, obviously quite amused with this arrangement as he leaned forward and gently kissed his little forehead, adoring the sight of his little face for a moment before leading the way downstairs (after grabbing the tearless baby wash that they'd gotten prior). It was rather ironic how the young parents had thought of a few little things (like a tearless baby wash, knowing that their child would need to be bathed at some point) but completely overlooked the location of where these baths would take place. Ferris was the first one downstairs, quickly entering the kitchen and setting the plastic drain clog in the drain so as to not let any water out. He then began to fill up the sink halfway with warm water, making sure that it wasn't actually hot to the touch as Gabe probably wouldn't appreciate that. He couldn't believe that they were giving their baby his first little bath. It was so crazy, so surreal to think that this was all really happening and this baby was theirs, all theirs, their responsibility.

ooc: I knew there was something about that line as I was typing it! xDDD

Vianna smiled warmly and with amusement as Ferris announced to their child that he was going to be stuck in the sink, watching with endearment as the young man's lips then came in contact with little Gabe's soft, smooth forehead. The girl then followed Ferris's lead out of the bathroom, making a quick stop by the bed and taking Gabe's little light green blankie with her before walking out and very carefully and slowly making her way down the stairs, being cautious not to fall or slip or anything of the sort. Once downstairs, Vianna made her way into the kitchen only to find that her husband had already set up the sink to be Gabe's new, temporary bathtub. "Here we go, Gabe," said the girl softly, very gently and slowly lowering the baby into the water. But she never let him go, since he was obviously still too tiny and inexperienced to know how to even sit up all by himself; so her left arm remained wrapped around him, holding him securely. This turned out to be a little more uncomfortable than the girl had expected (she'd dreamed of Gabe's first bath consisting of an almost year-old looking baby sitting in the bathtub splashing around and giggling happily. Clearly, she'd forgotten that Gabe wasn't going to be born a year old already and all these simple and basic things, like sitting up, splashing, and giggling, were still a new concept to the little one). "Have you got his sponge, Professor?" Vianna asked as her free hand began to wash water over little Gabe's tiny, and still rather pink body.

OOC: I couldn't help it, I just heard Sandy in my head and I had to say something!

Ferris also had a similar picture in his mind of Gabe's first bath, one of a baby possibly giggling and splashing, but was quickly realizing that such movements were far too advanced for the infant who was just a day old. Despite the fact that this adorable picture wasn't brought to life just yet for the young parents, little Gabe was still awfully cute as a newborn baby sitting in a tub, looking up at his two parents like they were crazy for having put him in a sink filled with water. He looked rather bewildered but completely curious as Vianna soaked him in the warm bathwater, turning his head slightly from side to side as though to keep up with her hand's movements. Ferris let out a hearty chuckle at the sight of this before growing distracted as Vianna asked if he had the sponge. The sponge! Oh, right! He quickly used his wand to summon the sponge down from their bathroom, having completely forgotten most of everything in the distraction of trying to find a place to bathe the little baby. But once this was acquired and the baby wash was soaked into the sudsy sponge, Ferris got to work gently washing off Gabe of any excess dirt (though that was rather hard to find on a newborn, so it was really just making him a bit cleaner and giving him a nice, baby-powderish sort of smell). Gabe seemed completely enthralled by this task, blue eyes wide with curiosity as he watched his parents' faces, his tiny mouth opening and closing absentmindedly as he still hadn't really gained much control over his muscles and his mouth liked to fall open. Turnip, who had grown awfully curious over what was happening in the kitchen, hopped onto the counter (like she technically wasn't supposed to do, as neither member of Fervi particularly enjoyed cat hair on their kitchen countertops; though Ferris often gave her a break) and stared at the baby with serene green eyes, obviously curious. "Turnip, your assistance was not asked for," Ferris announced as though the cat would understand and turn away. But the cat wasn't really doing anything to harm the situation, always having been a calm and collected cat, and just sat there with her head cocked to the side, obviously rather confused as to what was happening. And then, to Ferris's extreme amusement, she let out a long, drawn out 'meeeoooooowwwwww', in what sounded like a warning tone, as though the cat was trying to inform them that they were washing a baby in a kitchen sink, as though they already didn't know. She then turned to her argyle-clad owner and gazed at him as though wondering why he wasn't listening to her.

ooc: Haha! How ironic, seeing as I have Spongebob playing in the background right now.

Vianna smiled with a bit of relief on her features as Ferris summoned Gabe's sponge from the second floor of the house with his wand, watching as the young man then got to work on little Gabe's amazingly soft and smooth skin. He was so... pure, not tainted by age or chemicals or anything of the sort. It never ceased to amaze the girl who held him securely with her left arm, admiring the sight of little Gabe sometimes trying to catch Ferris's hand as it would pass over him with the sponge, obviously curious as to what exactly was going on and what in the world it was that his father was passing over him. He hiccuped gently then, jumping a bit in Vianna's arm as he did so, something which got the girl to chuckle softly, her crystal blue eyes sparkling with pure endearment at the sight of such a precious little thing. The girl wasn't even aware yet that Turnip had joined them, as her gaze had been locked on little Gabe, until Ferris spoke, announcing to the cat that her assistance was not needed. Laughing lightly with amusement, Vianna looked up only to find Turnip sitting on the countertop, something which got her eyebrows to raise. "Turnip! You know you're not supposed to climb onto things in the kitchen," she told the cat, as if it understood her, but she couldn't hide the amusement in her eyes at the sight of the cat merely staring at them with a bit of curiosity and disbelief, as if they were crazy, before letting out a very long and loud 'meow' which startled Vianna a bit. The girl gave a small grin of amusement then, her blue eyes turning from the cat to the baby she was holding as he seemed to react to the sound, suddenly growing still and staring straight in the direction of the sound he'd just heard, a bit of alarm but mostly curiosity in his crystal blue eyes.

OOC: Are you freaking kidding me Dee?! So. Do. I.

"Turnip, we don't need your reprimands," the young man told his cat with raised eyebrows, turning to her momentarily before turning back to the little baby who he was still washing carefully, not wanting to accidently get anything in his eyes. But then, just as he faced Gabe, he and Turnip both seemed to realize that the little baby was staring at the cat with curiosity in his bright blue eyes and slight alarm as well. Ferris gave a soft, faintly amused smile, but Turnip had a much more interested reaction as she leaned in towards the sink (which was rare, because the cat hated water of any kind) closer to the little baby. Her pink little nose, set nicely into her striped gray fur, came closer and closer to the little infant until it was right up against his own nose, sniffing at this new person in her household rather curiously. Had it been any other cat besides Turnip, Ferris would've never let this happen, never would've allowed a cat that was bigger than Gabe ever get near the fragile baby boy. But Turnip was a completely calm, loving cat who had never expressed any signs of aggression in her entire life. And even if for some crazy reason she ever put an actual paw on Gabe, there would be no hurt to the act as she was declawed on both her front and back paws. She was simply showing her curiosity for this new member of the family, sniffing at his nose and little face thoughtfully with wise green eyes just as the youngest member of the Montgomery family stared back with slightly alarmed blue eyes, remaining still and in complete wonder of this animal that had gotten so near.

OOC: I've gotta get off for a couple hours now Dee, I've got something I really need to concentrate on and finish. But I'll be back for the night afterwards to see if we're weirdly watching the same thing again...

ooc: Whoaaaaa! Creepy! Well, actually, it's kinda cool too. Baha! I love Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy episodes [/nerd]
& Alright Ruthers I'll see you then! Good luck with your work & we'll see about those coincidences!

Vianna looked a little alarmed as Turnip approached Gabe, coming so close to the little baby boy that their noses basically touched. She knew the cat could be trusted, but it was still her instinct to worry, to panic a little at the mere idea of anything, even minor, happening to her precious baby boy. She held Gabe a little more tightly, watching as his crystal blue eyes merely examined this new furry creature he had never seen before. She prepared herself for wailing and crying, imagining poor little Gabe must have been frightened or something of the sort, but instead the girl found herself watching one of little Gabe's arms come up, his tiny right hand meeting the side of the cat's face, examining her texture with curiosity, his tiny fingers trying to get a hold of her fur but failing as the thin hairs merely slipped right through his fingers. Vianna smiled warmly at this, amused and completely endeared by little Gabe's curiosity, by the way he, instead of crying like most babies would, actually took action and decided to explore, to learn and feed his curiosity. "Well, Professor, I think it's safe to assume our little baby has inherited his mum's bravery," bragged Vianna quite proudly, though she was obviously just teasing her husband. "Do you know what that means, Gabe?" asked Vianna, turning back to the baby. "If you grow up to be a wizard like your mummy and daddy, and attend the same school we did... you might get sorted into the same House as your mum!" she announced to the baby who was still trying to figure out what exactly it was that was standing right before him. "Not that your dad's house isn't that great, but... your mum's is better," she continued with playful arrogance, giggling lightly once more and watching as the cat eventually left little Gabe after the little one kept trying to pull at her fur and nearly poked her in the eye with his tiny fingers. Gabe watched the creature go, a soft sound emitting from his lips, something that sounded almost like a question, as if he was asking the cat where it was going, why it was leaving.

OOC: Bahahaha yeah, today I was watching the one where SB skips class to get his magazine signed by Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. And thanks, I think the work's pretty much done for the most part!

Ferris had been preparing himself for a big wail from little Gabe, sure that the presence of something so unfamiliar so close to his little face could only upset him. But then, to both of his parents' surprise, the little boy brought up one of his tiny hands to place on Turnip's face, feeling her fur with pure curiosity sparkling behind his gaze. The young man gave a grin and a soft chuckle at this, turning his attention to Vianna as she spoke to him and announced that their baby had inherited her bravery, a statement that got Ferris to roll his eyes, though he was obviously rather amused by her bragging, "Yes, it seems as though he has." He listened with sparkling brown eyes, watching his son with all of the amazement in the world, as Vianna addressed Gabe and explained that if he was accepted into Hogwarts, he would be taken into Gryffindor like his mummy, a house that was apparently better than Hufflepuff. "Vi!" the young father complained, though he couldn't hold back a bit of a smile that came onto his expression, rather amused with the idea of Gabe going to Hogwarts and being sorted into a house based on something he did as an infant. But it was actually rather amazing how Gabe had brought up a hand to investigate the cat rather than just cry about it, as most babies would've. It would appear as though the little guy had inherited his father's natural need to understand and study things along with his mother's curiosity and spontaneous bravery. Granted, that was a lot to assume out of one gesture, but it was quite extraordinary at an age where most babies would've just cried. "Hufflepuff is just fine, thank you very much," Ferris complained to his wife before turning back to Gabe. "It suited me just fine, actually."

ooc: I'm not sure if that's the one we had playing here... in this one SpongeBob was "driving" a museum and driving Mrs. Puff (<- hey, a pun!) crazy as usual. And before that they played the "Beautiful Squidward" ep! [/nerd]
No prob.

Vianna burst into a fit of amused giggles as Ferris complained over her over-confident arrogant teases, far too amused with herself at the moment. "It might have, but... if you had been sorted into Gryffindor, we probably would've met sooner," said Vianna a little more seriously, her smile turning from amused to warm. It was still, after all these years, so difficult for her to believe that she had actually been attending the same school as her husband and had never met him until almost the very end, until he was so close to graduating. Vianna returned her attention to little Gabe then, watching as Ferris finished passing the soft sponge all around his perfectly smooth and soft little body. "Ti è piaciuto il bagno, Gabe?" Vianna asked the little one as she pulled him up and out of the water gently. "Can you wrap the blankie around him, Professor?" asked Vianna, referring to the blankie she'd left on the dining table, as both her hands were busy holding Gabe out of the water.
