Default That Summer - V.5!

This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna followed Ferris's lead out of the nursery and down the stairs, her steps light and carefree as they had always been before the pregnancy, finally not having to worry about falling or tripping and hurting the baby inside her. It was such a... freedom to finally be able to move around as lightly and energetically as she usually did now that she didn't have a large, heavy belly holding her back. Vianna was a little surprised, though, as Ferris released her hand once they'd reached the last step on the stairs, only to find her feet leaving the wooden floors of their home a moment later as he picked her up bridal style, something which the girl had missed greatly in all the time he hadn't been able to just sweep her off her feet like this. There was a long string of amused and overjoyed giggles escaping her smiling rosy lips as he led them over to the living room and gently plopped the girl down on the couch, soon joining her and showering her sweet kisses that only got her giggles to grow and her body to squirm slightly on instinct, tickled by the feel of his lips on the side of her face. She turned to him, then pulling back slightly to escape his lips for a brief second before leaning in again and placing her lips upon his own in a sweet, loving but playful kiss that lasted a couple long moments before she pulled back with the warmest and happiest of smiles. "I love you so much, Professor," she shared with him. "Maybe not as much as Gabe, but y'know... almost as much," she added teasingly, obviously just playing around. She didn't have the heart to prefer one love of her life over the other; they were both of equal value to her, both just as important in her life.

OOC: Posts might be a bit slow...

Ferris couldn't help but adore the sound of her giggles filling the air, loving that he was the one to bring out this beautiful sound, this melodious noise that he could never get enough of. Just as he was leaning into planting a kiss to her jawline, she'd pulled back from him just to return her lips to his own in a loving kiss that he couldn't help but return as lovingly as he received it. As this sweet kiss came to an end after a couple long moments, his dark brown eyes fluttered open only to see her smiling at him in that way that got his heart to jump in his chest, loving the sight of those beautiful blue eyes and internally hoping that maybe Gabe had received that trait from his mother's side of the family. It was then that she spoke, informing the young man of how much she loved him, his heart seemed to swell up in his chest, about to reply when she then clarified that she might've not loved him as much as Gabe, but almost. "Almost?!" he replied playfully, pushing her very gently back into the cushions as he let out a soft chuckle. "First, I was second to all of our pets when we got them," he reminded her in a playful growl. "And now?! Now I'm coming in second to our baby and there's nothing I can do about it!" he complained as he gently began to plant kisses along her neckline.

ooc: Okay!

Vianna, who'd been holding back her giggles as she teased her husband about loving their baby boy more than him, couldn't help but fall into that fit of giggles once again, with all the amusement in the world sparkling in her crystal blue eyes as she listened to him complain about the way she'd made him second after all of their pets, now she was making him second after their baby as well, before his lips began to leave a trail of kisses along her neckline that got the girl to squirm on instinct, tickled by the playful gestures. "Aw Professor, I can't help it if our pets are tiny and furry and Gabe is tiny and adorably naive, and you're... well, you're just..." she trailed off for a moment, as if trying to find the right words to tell him what he was without hurting his feelings, obvious playfulness still in her voice and features, "You're just so... tall... you're not tiny, I can't carry you! And you don't have soft fur or adorable naivety!" she explained, as if Ferris was supposed to be a furry pet or an innocent baby in order for her to love him more than his competition.

Ferris listened, kisses pausing, as he pulled back his head and planted a playful pout on his expression as Vianna explained that she couldn't help it that his competition was so cute, explaining that while they were tiny and adorable, he was just so tall and not tiny. His eyebrows rose at this, mock hurt in his expression as she then added that she couldn't carry him, that he didn't have soft fur or adorable naivety. "But I'm your Professor!" he complained with an amused grin, playfulness still in his tone. "You always told me that you liked how tall and awkward I am!" he complained in a grumble, pulling her closer as he complained at his second place in her heart. "Was all of that a lie all these years? You really don't like awkward, pale Professors?" he murmured softly with a pout, though amusement was still obviously in his brown eyes as he leaned his forehead against her own. "And I thought you really liked me..." he murmured in mock defeat, as though this was a small month-long relationship or something that hadn't been going on for years, as though he wasn't talking about the strong relationship he and Vianna really had.

Vianna listened as Ferris complained that he was her Professor, that she had always told him she liked how tall and awkward he was. She continued giggling lightly with amusement through these accusations, but listened attentively as he continued, asking if all of that had been a lie all these years, if she really didn't like awkward, pale Professors. "Aw of course I do!" Vianna contradicted with an amused smile, watching as he then pouted and murmured how he'd thought she really liked him. She chuckled softly at this, placing her lips upon his own at that moment, unable to hold the urge she felt to just kiss him then, to treat his lips as sweetly and lovingly as she could, as if she hadn't had a chance to do so in years, her arms slowly coming to wrap around his neck as she did so, honestly having missed being able to be this close to him, to have him this near without a large belly standing in between.

Ferris gave a bit of a quirky grin as Vianna contradicted him, assuring him that she still liked her awkward, pale Professors, chuckling softly in that way that got him to admire her shamelessly. And just like that, just as his brown eyes adjusted to the sight of her blue ones, her lips suddenly came and rested on his own in a loving kiss that he couldn't help but return. And there she was, her now fairly slender frame so holdable beneath his own more broad, lankier one, easy to pull closer as he allowed no space to come between them, loving how sweetly she was kissing him. Ferris loved every feel of her around him, the way her arms slipped behind his neck and how easy it was to hold her, to be near her without having to worry about hurting the baby. It felt like forever since he'd last gotten to hold his wife like this, to kiss her like this. And it felt good as he returned the sweet gesture as wonderfully as she awarded it to him. But finally, after what could've been hours or minutes, the young man broke apart with the warmest of his lopsided grins, dimples coming out of hiding as his brown eyes sparkled at her. "I missed this," he admitted in a soft, content sight as he leaned his forehead against her own. "I missed holding you like this," he murmured as he pulled her closer, leaving absolutely no room between them. "Just you and me, this close..."

Vianna's crystal blue eyes fluttered open with a dreamy sort of sparkle in them as the wonderful kiss she was sharing with her husband came to an end, the brightest of smiles adorning her rosy lips as they were left without his own to kiss. Her right arm slipped from his neck and her hand rested on his shoulder absentmindedly instead, her thumb distractedly stroking the side of his neck and her gaze fixed on the brown eyes that were so close to her own at that moment, listening as he shared with her how he'd missed holding her like this, just the two of them this close. The girl smiled warmly then, blue eyes sparkling brightly. "I missed it too..." she confessed softly, silently admiring the sight of him for the next few long moments, allowing a comfortable silence to fall between them as they merely admired each other's features, relishing in the way their bodies could come so close now. After a few long moments of this, Vianna spoke, breaking the comfortable silence, "I should go make us some lunch, Professor," she said softly, feeling a little hungry herself and assuming the boy must've felt the same way as well, since all they'd had for breakfast was what the hospital had provided them with, which wasn't all that great.

Ferris's smile seemed to lighten up at the feel of her finger absentmindedly stroking the skin on his neck, loving how warm her fingers felt there and listening as she admitted to having missed this as well. His smile widened at this before simply admiring her for a long while, brown eyes scanning her features adoringly as she broke the silence and mentioned how she needed to go make lunch for them. As much as he didn't want to let her go, his stomach was growling at the mere idea of food, and now that she was offering it he couldn't help but agree with the idea. "Alright," he grumbled playfully, reluctantly releasing her waist and climbing off of the couch to let her up. "I'm going to shower and I'll be back in a bit," he announced softly, leaning back towards her to peck her lips lovingly before getting to his feet and stretching his long limbs. "Your second favourite is leaving you with all of your first loves," he added playfully, flashing her a grin before heading up the stairs with a soft chuckle.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris agreed to letting her prepare them some lunch before he sat up on the couch and announced he'd be taking a shower. The girl nodded her head slightly at this, returning the peck kiss he then placed on her lips lovingly, before he went on to add that her second favourite was leaving her with all her first loves. Vianna chuckled softly at the playful tease, shaking her head slightly as she watched him go before getting up from the couch and making her way over to the kitchen, quickly followed by most of their curious little pets who were probably looking for leftovers (they often got tired of their own food and liked to try out Fervi's). The girl spent the next few minutes preparing an eggplant parmigiana for herself and something more typically-English - Yorkshire pudding - for Ferris. She knew the young man often liked her Italian meals, but she'd taken the time, through these past few years, to learn to make more English meals as well, knowing he'd probably prefer that as that was the food he'd grown up with here in his homeland of England.

With the use of magic, both meals only took around ten or fifteen minutes to prepare, and Vianna was just setting it all on their corresponding plates when a sound caught her attention, a sound that was so familiar yet still felt to strange to hear... Blue eyes widened slightly, the girl quickly disapparated from the kitchen, apparating only a second later right in little Gabe's nursery, feeling a little woozy as she hadn't traveled through apparition in months and was lacking practice. Her fears were confirmed as she approached the crib, only to find her precious baby boy wailing loudly, his little arms flailing about, his little face even more pink than it normally was as the tears streamed down his perfectly smooth cheeks. "Aw, Gabe..." said Vianna softly, very gently taking the little one into her hands and bringing him out of the crib and into her arms. It was then, as he seemed to calm a little, that the girl noticed... there was something different about Gabe... "Professor!"

Ferris was just about finishing up his shower, going into the last couple minutes of it and rinsing out his curls, when he started to hear a small whining from somewhere else in the house. Assuming it was just his imagination or possibly the pipes squeaking, he didn't think anything of it until it was accompanied by a 'Professor!' in his wife's alarmed voice. Immediately shoving off the water and grabbing a towel, the young man was out of that bathroom in a split second, immediately assuming something was wrong with either his wife or the baby. Unfortunately for the young man who was never really graceful in the safest of locations, being soaking wet, holding a towel around his waist and attempting to sprint across a tiled bathroom floor wasn't his best idea. And so, just after taking a few rushed steps, he toppled to the floor in an ungraceful mess, landing uncomfortably on one of his elbows and his hip. This didn't seem to phase the young ungraceful man in light of what was happening with Gabe or Vianna, and so he was up in the next second, rushing (a bit more carefully) out of the bathroom, through the bedroom and into the nursery only to see Vianna holding baby Gabe, both of which seemed to be perfectly fine.

And there, standing in the doorway, was a sopping wet Ferris holding a fluffy white towel around his waist, elbow turning slightly red from impact as he dripped water onto the hardwood floors, his curls soaking as they laid upon his forehead, brown eyes concerned and pale chest exposed. "What's wrong?" he asked breathlessly, looking as though he'd just ran a mile.

Vianna turned to the young man that arrived right at that moment, looking like he'd just ran straight out of the shower - which really, is exactly what he had done. The girl felt a little bad then, realizing she must've given him a fright if he had to run out like that, without even taking time to dry himself. But the girl was a little too excited at the moment, clearly overjoyed about something as she flashed her husband the brightest of smiles. "Gabe opened his eyes," she announced to him, her gaze falling back to the little baby who still looked a little uncomfortable though he was no longer wailing (and Vianna, still being a complete newbie in the art of being a mother, almost forgot in her excitement that little Gabe still needed something, that there was still a problem to be fixed, whatever the problem may be). But there, in her arms, all dressed up in his adorable light green onesie and tiny booties and warm little white hat, lay the most adorable baby Vianna had ever had the pleasure of holding, her crystal blue eyes sparkling at the equally crystal blue eyes that stared back, looking a little disoriented, his little arms reaching out to something he saw in the distance, something which happened to be his mother. "Look..." she said softly, almost breathlessly, completely amazed by the sight of her little baby with open eyes. It was so different... it was completely different to see little Gabe with his eyes closed and then to see him again with his eyes open. It made her feel closer to the little one, like he really acknowledged her, really knew she was there. His bright eyes were full of life, sparkling naturally, a sort of curiosity in his gaze as he blinked a few times, doing this for the first time in his short life, his head turning just very slightly, the most he could move it still being so young, trying to make sense of all the colorful blurs surrounding him which differed so greatly from the darkness he was used to.

Ferris was just catching his breath, gazing around the room as though this would tell him what had happened faster than his wife, when Vianna spoke the words he least expected to hear; Gabe opened his eyes. The young man could feel his heart stop momentarily, his brown eyes widening as the words sunk in on the mind that had been so preoccupied just moments before with problem solving. Finally registering, his gaze turned from Vianna to the baby in her arms, quickly crossing the room to stand at her side and better see the little face that he'd come to love so very much in the past day. And she was right. There, right in that beautiful little baby expression, were a pair of bright blue eyes identical to Vianna's, sparkling naturally with curiosity as he took his first look at the world. The breath caught in Ferris's throat at the sight, realizing that little Gabe had inherited his mother's eye colour and that this was his first time ever opening his eyes. Ferris grinned at the sight, an endeared sort of melting look coming onto his features as he admired the sight of this little baby boy gazing up at his parents with the most beautiful eyes. "He's got your eyes..." he murmured breathlessly, unaware that his curls were still dripping water onto Vianna and the floors until one droplet fell onto the side of Gabe's little cheek, a feel that made the baby turn slightly in curiosity. The young father let out a soft chuckle, holding his towel with one hand and using the other to gently wipe this droplet of water away, obvious disbelief in his gaze.

Vianna was quiet as the two of them fell into a comfortable silence in which they simply admired the sight of their baby boy who just stared back at them, though his gaze didn't seem focused. He was just kind of looking around, seeming a little lost, but for the most part very curious, very intrigued. As Ferris announced to the girl at his side that their little baby had inherited her eyes, her smile widened even further, taking great pride in this, though she was still overwhelmed by a sense of fascination - this was the first time she got to see a bit of herself in their little baby! And the resemblances would only keep coming the older he grew. "I can't believe it..." she said softly, obviously still disbelieving. "He's so... beautiful with his eyes open," she added, her smile transforming into a bit of a grin.

And then, very abruptly, Gabe began to wail again. He was getting tired of his parents just standing there staring at him like he was some other worldly creature (well not really, the baby wasn't developed enough to feel annoyance just yet), he needed something clearly, and he wasn't being provided with it. And it was this that got Vianna's smile to fade, snapping her back to reality. "Oh no! What could it be?" she asked, her forehead beginning to crease slightly as she gently rocked the baby boy in her arms. "Do you think it might be his diaper? He hasn't had it changed since this morning, after all..." said the girl softly, a little unsure as to what exactly it was that their little one needed.

Ferris gave a bit of a grin as Vianna expressed her own disbelief, listening as she added how beautiful little Gabe was with his eyes open. The young man at her side merely nodded in agreement, finding himself without words as he admired the sight of their little baby boy. He was more cute and adorable than even he had expected, and those shocking blue eyes just added to his sweetness, how wonderful his little face was. But before the young father could really continue gazing for much longer, the baby in his wife's arms began to wail once more, creating that horrible sound that so clearly indicated that he was unhappy.

Completely alarmed by the sudden change of expression and mood, Ferris's eyes widened and he turned to Vianna as she turned to him, listening as she suggested that perhaps his diaper needed to be dealt with. "U-Uhh.." he started, completely overwhelmed and unable to think with that horrible noise of his baby in distress filling the room. "That might be it," he decided as logic fell into his mind and he very gently took the baby from his wife, carefully carrying him over to the changing table and setting him down on the area for actually changing him. Ferris, who really hadn't done much of this diaper changing business for a good while, took a moment to let it all flood back at him, quickly beginning to work off of instinct and undoing the baby's little onesie. And then the foulest of smells entered the room, the worst sort of stench that one couldn't truly describe in worlds. "Yeah..." he called with a look of disgust on his face, only breathing through his mouth so as to avoid smelling it. "It's definitely his diaper."

In the next few minutes, little Gabe had been cleaned off and given a new, fresh diaper, his onesie fastened back up and his entire being much nicer smelling due to the baby powder that now came along with him. Ferris let out a sigh of relief as this finished and Gabe seemed to quiet though there was still minor discomfort on his little expression as he got used to this new feel of freshness on his behind. (ooc: lmaolmaolmaolmaolmao i'm sorry, i didn't know how to better state that...) "There," he murmured softly as he grabbed some air freshener and sprayed it over by the doorway and around the room. "You have quite the power in one of your diapers, Gabe," he muttered with a weak smile as he picked up the little baby, his smile warming up as he caught sight of those blue eyes once more.

ooc: BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! Gabe and his fresh behind. Too funny!

Vianna very gently and carefully handed the wailing baby over to her husband before he took him over to the changing table, his much shorter wife following closely and coming to stand at his side, making note in her mind of what was to come, as she didn't really know how to change a diaper yet. She watched as Ferris undid the baby's onesie, then going on to undo the diaper, only to be greeted by the most foul stench her nose had ever greeted. "Merlin, Gabe..." said Vianna, making a face, though there was amusement on her features; a rather childish side of her finding the baby's little surprise to be a little amusing as it completely caught them off-guard like that. She placed a hand over her nose and mouth, watching attentively as Ferris proceeded to clean off the little baby and then award him a fresh, new diaper, before he proceeded to spray the room with air freshener. Vianna chuckled softly, shaking her head slightly with amusement and admiring the sight of the much-happier little Gabe that now resided in his father's arms. "This taking-care-of-a-baby business is a lot more complicated than I expected," said the girl softly, a bit of worry behind her amusement, hoping she could learn to keep up with all of Gabe's needs. "By the way, lunch is ready. Would you like to change and meet Gabe and I downstairs, Professor?" she asked.

Ferris, who had since tied his towel around his waist so he didn't have to hold it, held little Gabe as Vianna mentioned how this taking-care-of-a-baby business was a lot more complicated than she'd expected. "Yeah, tell me about it," he murmured in agreement with a soft chuckle, thinking to how often Gabe seemed to be crying and finding it to be rather disconcerting. But she then mentioned lunch and the option of changing, and the young man grew slightly distracted, letting out a soft chuckle as he realized that he was still shirtless and in a towel. "Yeah, alright," he agreed softly, handing over the little baby who seemed to be much happier at the moment. Ferris ran a hand through his dripping wet dark brown hair which had now started to curl at the ends, beginning the drying process and morphing into those soft curls that was such a major part of his appearance. Doing this, he noticed a light blue mark that stretched across a large patch of skin on his lower arm, near his elbow. His eyebrows rose at this, bringing up his arm to examine the bruise that was quickly forming there, at least three inches of length and sore to the touch, accompanied by a minor scrape. Quickly remembering how he'd gotten this, his expression morphed into one of realization and he shrugged as he started back out of the nursery, nearly forgetting that he had an audience.

ooc:

Vianna smiled warmly at the young man before her before he handed over the baby and she welcomed the little one into her arms lovingly. She turned back to the crib then, folding out the light green blankie Vianna's grandmother had made especially for little Gabe, its patterns the exact same as those in the blankie she'd made the girl when she was just a newborn like Gabe. Vianna set the little one in the crib, on top of the blankie then, wrapping him up gently in it, slowly, giving him time to protest if perhaps this wasn't what he wanted. But he didn't protest and seemed to welcome the warmth of his blankie, something which got Vianna to smile with pure endearment before she took the little baby back into her arms. She had assumed Ferris had left by now, but instead found the young man still standing there, apparently distracted by a large, light blue mark that was tainting the pale skin on his lower arm. At the sight of this, Vianna's blue eyes widened, her forehead creasing slightly. "Professor!" she called to him, clear concern in her gaze. "What is that?" she asked, her gaze fixed to the mark on his arm. "Are you alright? Have you placed a healing spell on it yet?"

Ferris, who was just crossing out of the baby's room's doorway, jumped in surprise as his favourite nickname was called by Vianna, concern evident in her tone. He turned around quickly, confused as to what could've been happening, when she asked what something was and her gaze fell to something on the outside of his pale arm before continuing with her trail of questions and wondering if he was alright and had placed a healing spell on it. The young man brought up his arm once more to glance at the quickly forming bruise near his elbow, quickly realizing that this was what she was referring to and turned back to her with a small smile, always unconcerned with his own injuries. "Oh yeah, I'm fine gem," he promised with a soft chuckle, "I just sort of slipped and fell in the bathroom and I think I landed a bit on my elbow..." he muttered thoughtfully with a shrug and a bit of a quirky grin. "I don't think it needs a spell, it'll heal up soon enough," Ferris assured her with another brief shrug before turning back around and starting once more towards their bedroom.

Vianna listened as Ferris explained to her quite simply that he had slipped and fallen in the bathroom, something she couldn't help but feel a little guilty about, assuming that it must've been because of her calling out to him earlier. As he then assured her that the injury didn't need a spell to heal, the girl sighed softly, watching as he turned. "What's that, Gabe?" she said suddenly, a bit louder than she should if she was really having a conversation with her baby. "Oh, I'll tell him! Professor, Gabe thinks you should perform a healing spell on that injury," she informed him, as if she was just casually passing on a message originally sent by the baby in her arms. "He says he doesn't like seeing his daddy all bruised," she added simply, seriously, as if this was all very true.

Ferris paused in the hallway, his back still to the nursery, as Vianna spoke much louder than she should have, apparently talking to their baby and translating the message to her husband that Gabe thought he should perform a healing spell on his bruise. The warmest of smiles fell onto his features then, still hidden as he faced away from his wife and baby, listening as Vianna added that Gabe said he didn't like seeing his daddy all bruised, her tone serious as though she was honestly just communicating a message that she had nothing to do with. The young man turned around 180 degrees with his eyebrows raising, an amused smile still prominent on his pale expression, warm as his dimples came out of hiding and he set eyes on his wife and baby. "Is that right?" he replied softly, walking back over to her as his smile morphed into a grin, finally right in front of her and Gabe and staring into her blue eyes with a soft chuckle. "You know, it's really unfair of you to use our child to do your own bidding," he informed her, brown eyes sparkling at the sight of her before he leaned in and pressed a loving, warm kiss to her forehead, letting his lips to rest there for a moment longer than necessary. And then, as though this one contact had started a hunger within the young man, Ferris leaned through the space between them and gently set his lips on her own in a sweet, slow kiss, placing no rush on the gesture as he simply relished in the feel of her lips on his own. After what could've been sweet hours, minutes, or seconds, he finally broke apart with the warmest of his quirky smiles. "A healing spell will be done," he promised her softly before heading off down the hall once more, this time making it all the way to their bedroom and closing the door behind him.

Vianna nodded as Ferris asked for confirmation, her serious expression failing as a smile graced her lips when the young man approached her and Gabe, towering over the two of them as he stood right before them. As he then informed her that it was really unfair of her to use their child to do her own bidding, the girl couldn't help but give a guilty though highly amused chuckle. "I don't know what you're talking about, I was just delivering the message," she replied innocently, soon distracted by the sight of him leaning in, his features growing closer to her own before his lips awarded her a kiss on the forehead. Vianna grinned at this, only to grow even more distracted then as the young man placed his lips upon her own instead, giving the girl the sweetest of kisses, one she was quick to return as lovingly and tenderly as she could, a dreamy sort of daze her in her blue eyes as they broke apart and her gaze fell upon her handsome husband again. She smiled dreamily at him, looking an awful lot like a silly schoolgirl with a crush.... and a baby, as she watched him go. Once the young man was out of sight, Vianna headed downstairs and into the kitchen, being very careful as she walked down the steps, admiring the sight of her precious baby boy as he rested comfortably in her arms. "Ti amo, il mio bambino," she said softly to him, placing a gentle and loving kiss on his perfectly smooth cheek before pulling back with the brightest and most adoring of smiles.

OOC: Awwww alright bye for now Dee Derupersss! I'll see you sometime tomorrow!

Ferris started down the stairs just a few minutes after his wife, driven by the promise of food and now dressed in a pair of jeans with an argyle sweater, stolen from his wife's side of the closet, of course. His curls were dry for the most part as he stepped down onto the first floor landing, making his way swiftly through the living room and then into their small kitchen only to find his wife at the table with little Gabe still in her arms, bundled up in the green blanket that was a gift from his great grandmother. He smiled on instinct at the sight of his two favourite people on the planet, admiring them for a moment as he walked over to his wife and kissed her cheek lovingly. It was then, as he straightened up to a standing position and got a clear look at the table, that he realized that Vianna had prepared one of his favourites; Yorkshire pudding. His stomach seemed to twist in hunger at the sight of such a familiar meal and he immediately sat down in his seat at the table, turning to look at Vianna with clear admiration in his gaze. "You made me Yorkshire pudding," the young man announced as though she didn't know this, obviously quite pleased with the plate of it in front of him, accompanied by roast beef and gravy as it so often was. His mother used to make this when he was a little boy (one of the only things she knew how to make without magic), creating a tradition that she mainly made on particularly cold days in the English winters. A lot of his childhood memories came from this dish, of it warming up his stomach on the harshest of winter days. And here it was, looking just as delicious as it always had, and Vianna had been thoughtful enough to make it for him. "Thank you," he told her softly, a genuine smile gracing his pale features before he immediately began to dig in, unable to help his own hunger. As much as he'd gotten used to and truly liked the Italian dishes Vianna prepared, there was something extraoridinarily wonderful about something so English, something so familiar to him personally.

"Hello there," Vianna greeted softly and casually, as if she hadn't seen her husband in a long time, as he entered the kitchen and greeted her with a kiss on the cheek. She watched as he took a moment to take notice of the table before sitting and announcing to her that she had made Yorkshire pudding, as if the girl hadn't realized she'd done this. Vianna chuckled softly with amusement, though she was glad to find admiration in his gaze, pleased that she could provide him with a meal he so clearly enjoyed. "You're very welcome, Professor," she replied politely as the boy thanked her for the lunch, watching for a moment as he began to dig into his plate before she followed suit and did the same. But she moved a lot slower than usual, only taking one small bite every now and then, as eating while carrying a baby wasn't necessarily the easiest task in the world. One of her arms and hand was occupied by the little one, so she had to try her best to cut her parmigiana eggplant with only her right hand, taking only small bites at a time as she didn't want to spill anything on the poor baby by accident. She couldn't help but wonder when exactly they could get Gabe to sit in his own little highchair, though she doubted it would be this soon, as the little one was still so new to the world and didn't even know the most basic and simple of things, like keeping his head up. The little one kept fussing in his mother's arms, moving his own little arms, clumsily passing a hand over his nose by accident before allowing that hand to travel a little further down and beginning to suck on his thumb. Gabe seemed distracted by the taste of his own little hand, growing still then, while his crystal blue eyes curiously studied all he could see at that moment.

Ferris finished his Yorkshire pudding just as quickly as he finished every other meal he ever ate; fast. He was done within seven or eight minutes of starting the large dish, washing it down with a glass of cold water as he leaned back into his chair, content clear in his expression. "That was really, really good gem," the young man admitted to his wife with a warm, lopsided smile on his pale face, the smile that always accompanied a particularly great meal. But as his brown eyes turned to Vianna, they also fell upon little Gabe in her arms, watching as she struggled to hold him properly while eating at her normal pace. "Here," he murmured with a soft smile on his pale face, the largest of smiles coming onto his expression on instinct as he set eyes on his little baby boy once more, the instinct that often came when he was looking at his Vianna, though she was obviously adorable in a very different way. Ferris very gently took Gabe from Vianna's arm, raising him above the table as he brought him over to his own chest, letting him rest in his arms in a cradle position. "Hey there Gabie," he murmured playfully, dimples coming out of hiding as he bounced the little guy in his arms very gently. "What'cha doin' with your thumb in your mouth?" he asked, his tone light and sweet as he talked to the little boy playfully, obvious amusement sparkling in his brown eyes as he looked at this beautiful baby boy. He leaned forward and kissed his forehead lovingly, letting out a soft chuckle once more as he caught sight of him staring around the room, thumb permanently stuck in his mouth. "You've got your mummy's eyes, did you know that?"

Vianna looked up from the baby in her arms with a warm smile as Ferris shared with her that the Yorkshire pudding she'd prepared for him had been really good. "I'm glad you liked it," she said, her smile widening slightly before she turned back to Gabe, who merely gazed up at her inquisitively. The girl beamed the little one, completely endeared just by the sight of him, before Ferris gave a soft 'here' and brought his hands around the tiny baby resting in his wife's arms. Vianna handed the baby over to him carefully, admiring the sight of little Gabe now in his father's arms, amusement in her blue eyes as Ferris spoke to the little one, questioning him about the thumb he was keeping in his mouth. Vianna gave a soft chuckle at this before returning her attention to her food, finding herself to be filling up a lot quicker than before, when she still had her belly; that was most likely due to the fact that she was only eating for herself now, and not for a growing, developing baby as well. "And your daddy's hair," Vianna added to Ferris's last comment to their son, her smile warm and her crystal blue eyes amused. Once finished with her lunch, Vianna got up from the table and picked up the plates, setting them to wash themselves with a wave of her wand. "What do you say all thre--" Vianna stopped abruptly as she caught sight of all their six pets staring up at her with wide 'you've abandoned us!' eyes. With an amused smile, Vianna corrected herself, "What do you say all nine of us settle down by the fire and roast some marshmallows?" the girl suggested to her husband, honestly a little eager to have some time to just sit down and enjoy little Gabe's company, without having to change diapers or anything.
