Default That Summer - V.5!

This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

OOC: Only on for a few minutes right now... But I'll definitely be back on later tonight, hopefully not too late!

Ferris found himself in a complete daze as Vianna broke apart from him, his brown eyes sparkling at the sight of her as a goofy sort of lopsided grin spread across his pale features. He admired her absentmindedly as she took a drink from her hot chocolate, his gaze loving as it scanned over each of her features, finally falling down to the belly which was bigger than it'd ever been before, a beautiful, perfectly round balloon beneath one of his favourite argyle sweaters. She just looked so good in them... Ever since the cold weather had hit she'd been stealing them periodically, wearing them around the house nearly all the time and giving poor Ferris an excuse to place a goofy grin on his face every time he saw it. It was a good month or so after this started that the young man realized that his wife wasn't really putting any of these sweaters back where he usually kept them, in a drawer on his side of their small walk in. Upon searching (which took a total of about two seconds), he came across a good nine or ten hangers, sporting the new additions to Vianna's side of the closet. All of his sweaters. All of his long sleeved argyle sweaters had been moved to her side, proudly mingling with all of her other things! Ever since, the young man had to turn to his wife's side of their shared space in order to get one of his sweaters. One might think that he would complain to his wife about the change of location, but...really? There was nothing he loved more than seeing his beautiful little pregnant Vianna bundled up in one of his large, over-sized (on her) argyle sweaters; and so he never protested.

Ferris watched with a warm smile as Vianna leaned back into the couch, putting her belly in a better view as the full size of it was exposed by her comfortable change of position. He admired the sight of it shamelessly, one of his large hands coming to rest on it very gently, his thumb stroking her there but merely finding the fabric of his argyle sweater. He frowned just slightly at this, finding that it didn't really feel like he was stroking his wife's pregnant belly, but more like he was petting a strange carpet. And so, after a moment of deciding, he very gently slipped his hand beneath the oversized sweater just enough to let his large warm hand come and rest on her bare belly, now coming in contact with her smooth skin. There was just something about actually having his hand there, right where the baby was, right on her skin, that was so much more special, so much nicer to him. And so Ferris kept his hand right on top of her large belly, his brown eyes turning to Vianna as she brought her own hand up to slip into his curls, her slender fingers running through his hair in that way that immediately relaxed him completely. He could feel himself relax into the couch at her touch, hardly aware that his eyes had closed for a split second at this contact, or the fact that he'd let out a soft sigh of relief. But Vianna's hand in his curls had always had that affect on him; always. And that had yet to change. Brown eyes open once more, Ferris listened as she mentioned how she liked it it when they got to be home like this, a statement that got the warmest of his goofy smiles to fall onto his expression. As she mentioned how she'd missed it, his gaze seemed to sparkle, his free arm gently coming to slip around her waist and pull her into his chest, keeping her there comfortably as his other hand remained on her smooth belly, warming up her skin in the place where it sat. "I've missed it too," the young man replied, admiring the sight of her shamelessly as the hand on her belly gently let his thumb stroke her skin sweetly. But it was true, it felt as though they hadn't had any sort of break in months. Which really, they hadn't.

"Y'know..." he murmured with an amused smile, "This time next year we're going to have a nearly-one-year-old to spend the time with," Ferris reminded her softly. "We're gonna have to bundle him up in some Christmas blankets to keep him warm through these winters," he joked with a soft chuckle, though there was clear endearment at the idea of a little baby wrapped up in little Christmas clothes, resting comfortably with his parents on the couch around the holidays. It was a nice thought.

ooc: Alright, Ruthers!
& LOL at Vi stealing the sweaters. Yes!

Vianna's smile widened as Ferris's warm hand met her large round belly, resting right on top of it and stroking it gently in a way that was rather soothing and relaxing to the girl. As the boy then pulled her into his chest, Vianna's free hands left his curls and instead she curled up comfortably beside him, resting her head on his shoulder, crystal blue eyes absentmindedly admiring the burning fire before them and all of their adorable, furry little pets that were resting all around the fire, close to the Christmas tree which sparkled in its many different-coloured lights. She was quiet for the next couple moments until he spoke again, mentioning how this time next year they were going to have a nearly-one-year-old baby to spend this time with. Vianna beamed at this thought, her expression only growing more endeared and more amused as he went on to add that they would have to bundle the little one up in some Christmas blankets to keep him warm through these winters. She giggled lightly at the thought of their adorable little baby all wrapped up in blankies or in comfortable baby winter clothes that showed a sense of celebration for the holidays. "I can't wait," she admitted softly, the brightest of smiles lighting up her lightly tanned face. "He's going to be so cute, Professor… and so tiny," she added a bit dreamily, trying to imagine what their little Gabe was going to look like by that time. "I can't wait until I can teach him how to ride a broom, and how to play Quidditch!" she continued with an excited grin. "And how to swim… Oh, and you could teach him how to draw! Maybe he'll be a little artist, like my Professor!" she suggested, lifting her head from the boy's shoulder to gaze up at him for a moment with the brightest of grins before leaning in and placing a kiss right on the corner of his lips, pulling back a moment later with a smile and returning her head to his shoulder.

OOC: !

Ferris turned his sparkling brown eyes from the fire back to the girl next to him as she spoke, admitting that she couldn't wait to have little Gabe to share all of their holidays with. He gave a warm smile at this, listening attentively as she mentioned how cute their little baby would be, how tiny he'd be for the first year of his life. "I know gem," the young man murmured sweetly, a slightly lopsided smile on his pale expression as he thought of such a baby, a beautiful combination of both him and his favourite person on the planet; tiny and bundled up adorably. He was distracted from these thoughts as she sat up a bit and mentioned that she couldn't wait to teach him how to ride a broom and to play Quidditch, adding that he could teach their little boy how to draw in the hopes that maybe Gabe would be a little artist like her Professor. The young man grinned at the thought of such a thing, letting out a soft chuckle as she turned to him with the brightest of her own grins before she then leaned in and placed the sweetest of kisses to the very corner of his lips. Ferris, rather amused by such a gesture, admired the top of her head as she cuddled back to his chest, leaning down just slightly in order to place a loving kiss to her temple. "I'll see if he has any interest in drawing," he decided with an amused smile, his voice low and sweet as he murmured to her ear. "And I'll definitely have to teach him to read..." His attention then turned to the feel of the bare skin of her belly beneath her sweater, thinking about the near-completely developed baby boy somewhere in there. "Are you gonna be a quidditch player for your mummy?" Ferris asked playfully, now addressing the large belly he was so sweetly caressing. "Or a little nerd to match your daddy?" he continued teasingly, an amused smile growing on his face until he turned to flash his wife a bit of a grin. "He's gotta choose his side at some point," the young man joked before turning back to her belly, his warm hand sweeping across it slowly and gently. He admired the sight of this, gently pulling up the shirt in order to really see her large, extended middle as he let his brown eyes sparkle at it. It was pretty easy to see that little Gabe was taking up a good deal of room in Vianna's belly; it seemed as though Gabe had already inherited Ferris's height. Or rather, the habit of being just a little bit too tall for one's age. "I'm afraid our baby might've gotten my growing gene, gem," the young man murmured with a bit of an amused smile, turning to look at his wife with a soft chuckle. "This is what happens when you marry a man nearly a whole foot taller than you..." He gave her an apologetic smile, hoping that the baby wasn't truly hurting her back all that much.

Vianna smiled warmly as Ferris's lips met her temple before he spoke, mentioning how they'd have to wait and see if Gabe would grow up to have any interest in drawing, before going on to add that he'd definitely have to teach the little one how to read. At this, Vianna grinned brightly. It seemed completely suiting that Ferris would be the one to teach their child how to read, seeing as that was such a big part of the young man himself, something that made him who he was; and she knew he'd enjoy teaching little Gabe how to read almost as much as he enjoyed reading overall, or reading aloud to her and their growing baby. "You're going to be so cute, teaching him how to read," the girl commented with a light giggle, her crystal blue eyes absentmindedly watching his hand move under the argyle sweater.

As the young man spoke once more, this time addressing her belly and asking the baby inside if he was going to be a quidditch player for his mummy or a little nerd like his daddy, Vianna laughed lightly with amusement. She looked up at the boy beside her as he then addressed her, explaining playfully that little Gabe had to choose his side at some point. "Or, maybe…" Vianna started, her gaze falling back to her belly, "He can be a bit of both. A broom-race-loving nerd with artistic talents and a love for squirrels and marshmallows?" she suggested with a soft chuckle, rather intrigued by the idea of their little baby already developing a personality of his own. What would he be like?

Vianna was distracted from her thoughts of Gabe's personality as Ferris then pulled up her shirt in order to reveal more of the perfectly round and very large belly hiding beneath it. It was perfectly smooth, and a lightly tanned tone, just like the rest of the girl's body. She smiled faintly at the sight of it, listening as Ferris then commented that their baby might've gotten his growing gene, going on to explain that this was what happened when she married a man nearly a whole foot taller than her. Vianna chuckled softly at this, amusement in her sparkling blue eyes. "Well, the doctor did say that Gabe was growing a little bit faster than most babies, at least size-wise… I'd rather he keeps growing when he's outside, though," she said with a weak smile, honestly a little terrified about the idea of having to give birth; not only that, but of giving birth to a child that was the slightest bit larger than most. That wouldn't be fun. "I do hope he gets to be tall like my Professor, though," she said, her smile turning warmer. "Girls like tall boys, he's going to have all the little girls after him," she announced with a proud grin, something very Vincenzi-like in the way she said that, very typical-proud-Italian-family in it, and of course, she had no idea she was sounding just like her parents did when she and her brothers were born.

Ferris gave the warmest of smiles as Vianna spoke, commenting that he was going to be so cute teaching their little child how to read when the time came. The young man couldn't help but be completely pleased by the thought, loving the idea that he'd get to show his son the ropes of reading, give him his first books, help him through big words and encouraging him to keep up the hobby... It was something that he as a boy found great comfort in, and though he knew that Gabe might not have the exact same pull to literature as he had as a child, he knew that he still wanted Gabe to learn from him, to appreciate books like he did. "You're going to be cuter teaching him Quidditch," the young man pointed out in return, his dimples sneaking onto his expression as he gave a bit of a grin at the mere idea of his wife teaching a little boy how to mount a broom, how to fly, chasing the little guy across the large expanse of land they had around their beautiful little cottage.

He turned quiet as she then addressed the idea of Gabe having to make a choice of either being a nerd or a quidditch lover, suggesting that perhaps their child would be a combination of the two; a 'broom-race-loving nerd with artistic talents and a love for squirrels and marshmallows'. Ferris beamed at the prospect, "That's definitely our kid," he decided with a soft chuckle, knowing fully well that they'd never truly know who Gabe would be until Gabe decided that for himself as he developed through his childhood, taking up whatever interested his surely inquisitive mind. Afterall, he had to be somewhat inquisitive; what with having a mother who was always energetically curious about everything new and exciting and a father whose methodical mind never ceased to solve problems and find answers to interesting things. He would be quite the child, one way or another.

Ferris listened attentively as Vianna then mentioned that the doctor had said that Gabe was growing a bit faster than most babies size-wise, a comment that got the young man to give a bit of a sheepish smile. Something told him that that part was entirely his fault; Gabe seemed to have latched onto that growth gene early on. But he remained silent as she continued, mentioning how she'd rather that the little baby would grow more when he was out of her rather than on the inside. He gave a bit of an sympathetic smile, knowing that it couldn't have been all that nice to have a baby getting bigger and bigger inside of you, slowly stretching out your belly and creating more weight for your back to handle. The hand on her back absentmindedly began to stroke her there, gently massaging the small of her back the best he could with one hand, trying his best to possibly relieve some of the tension that might've been there as he listened to her hope aloud that Gabe would be tall like her Professor. Ferris's eyebrows rose at the statement with an amused smile, giving a soft, "Oh yeah?" before listening as she explained that girls liked tall boys and he was going to have all of the little girls after him, a comment that got the soon-to-be father to laugh aloud. He admired the sight of her for a moment, thinking on all of this as his laughter died down, realizing that it was pretty much his fault that little Gabe had grown so big. Well, that was the wrong wording. It wasn't as though the baby had turned into a giant or anything, he wasn't stretching Vianna out obnoxiously or anything like that, but he seemed to be just slightly over the average size of a baby, just enough to cause a bit more stress to her back in the pregnancy. "Well, I'm glad that you're not completely upset with me for passing on my height," he murmured with a sheepish smile as he gently kissed her temple. "I'm sure having a bigger than average baby isn't so friendly on your back," he added to her ear in a murmur as he thought on this with slightly furrowed brows.

Vianna gave a light, amused giggle as Ferris commented that she would be cuter teaching their child how to play Quidditch than he would be teaching the little one how to read, something that she obviously didn't agree with. But she made no comment, and instead focused her gaze on her large growing belly, her mind now filling with daydreams of what it would be like to teach their little Gabe not only how to read or ride brooms, but pretty much everything he needed to know. He was going to be born without the least bit of knowledge, he won't even be able to tell the difference between a square or a circle! Everything, even the most simple of concepts, were going to be so new to him. They'd have so much to teach him, it was a job that would last them the rest of their lives. Vianna was distracted from these thoughts, though, as Ferris agreed to her last suggestion of their child being a perfect combination of the two of them, and she chuckled softly at this, aware that Gabe's personality was still going to be a mystery for some time to come, though even as a baby he would be showing signs of what his personality would be like, just like little Jackie and Vittorio did.

Vianna's chuckles died out a moment later, and she brought up her mug filled with hot chocolate, taking a sip from it and relishing in the feel of it warming her body from the inside. The girl listened as Ferris spoke again then, mentioning how glad he was that she wasn't completely upset with him for passing on his height, something which got her to laugh lightly. She smiled as his lips met her temple and listened as he went on to add that having a bigger than average baby probably wasn't so friendly on her back, appreciating the feel of the boy's hand on her back at that moment, soothing the tension that gathered there. "I could never be upset of our baby inheriting his father's genes," she said with a shake of her head. "I want him to resemble my Professor as much as possible," she added with a bit of a grin, her free hand joining Ferris's as they both now rested upon her belly.

Ferris listened attentively as Vianna spoke, assuring him that she could never be upset of their baby inheriting his father's genes, a comment that got his heart to swell just slightly, listening as she then added that she wanted Gabe to resemble her Professor as much as possible. As he felt her hand rest on his own, both of which now sitting comfortably on her large, beautifully round belly, the young man couldn't remove his sparkling brown eyes from the girl at his side, taking in her comments, obviously very flattered. "Oh yeah?" he murmured to her playfully, a phrase he often said to Vianna, though it was obvious that he was honestly rather pleased with her statements. "Well I want little Gabe to be as much like his mum as possible," the young man decided with a bit of a teasing grin, coming a bit closer to her as he rested his forehead against her temple, facing the side of her expression as his straight nose brushed against her cheekbone. "I want him to be bright and sweet and I want him to add little 'no?'s to the end of his statements..." Ferris continued, his voice gentle and soft, all the while slightly warm somehow, sweet as it filled the air. He pressed a lvoing kiss to her cheek easily before continuing, "...and I want him to be a beautiful little baby..." Ferris admitted to the woman at his side, his free hand all the while very slowly putting pressure onto different areas of her lower back, massaging it to the best of his ability in the hopes of giving her some relief. "Our little Gabe..." he murmured as his gaze fell down to her belly, as though thinking that the little guy might have something to add to the conversation.

Vianna nodded her head with a smile as Ferris gave her one of those 'Oh yeah?'s he so often gave her, listening as the young man then went on to share his own opinion, explaining that he wanted little Gabe to be as much as his mum as possible. Vianna chuckled softly at this, her warm smile widening as the boy rested his forehead against her temple, and listened as he continued, adding how he wanted their little one to be bright and sweet, and to add little 'no?'s at the end of his statements. That last bit sent Vianna into a fit of amused giggles; this was something about herself that she never really noticed until Ferris pointed it out, and she couldn't help being a little amused by how much he seemed to like something so simple and unintentional about her. But eventually the girl's giggles died out, and her gaze was fixed on her belly once more, also watching it a bit expectantly, as if she was also expecting little Gabe to join them on their conversation.

And he did. He made his presence known through a kick that caused his mum to gasp sharply in both surprise and pain. This wasn't the first time the baby kicked, of course not, but why did it feel like the kicks only got more painful each time? Vianna was left rather breathless for a moment there, and she took deep breaths until her breathing was back to normal, alert still written on her features as she sat up a little straighter. "Maybe... maybe he'll want to play football" - (soccer) - "instead of Quidditch," she suggested with a weak chuckle, still a little shaken from that hit. But Gabe continued kicking, just not as hard this time, and it was very easy to feel him moving around and making himself comfortable in his mum's large belly.

Ferris was just about to tear his gaze away from his wife's belly, starting to turn his eyes back to the fireplace when he suddenly felt a very strong kick beneath his large hand, a kick that was more powerful than he'd ever expected it to be. Brown eyes widening, it took a good moment for the young man to realize just exactly what had happened as he'd grown a little distracted by the fact that Vianna seemed in a good deal of pain, growing breathless for a second or so. His gaze concerned, he turned his full attention to the woman in his arms, brows furrowing as she started to take deep breaths in the effort to get her breathing back to normal, sitting up a bit more within his warm embrace. Ferris gently supported her back as she did so, obviously quite amazed with the strong kick that he'd felt from the little baby growing inside of Vianna, completely surprised that he'd decided to pitch in the conversation that strongly. Just as he was starting to stroke her large belly comfortingly, the girl at his side suggested that maybe little Gabe would want to play football rather than Quidditch, a comment that got the young man to give a faint smile and a weak chuckle. "I'm afraid that's a possibility," Ferris agreed with a soft sigh, concerned brown eyes never leave the sight of her as he leaned towards her and soothingly pressed loving kisses on her temple and cheekbone.

"My poor gem's getting kicked," Ferris murmured with a slightly amused smile, though he was still mostly concerned. Though he knew this was normal and nothing was truly wrong with Vianna or the baby, it still wasn't comfortable for the young man to see his wife in pain like she so clearly was whenever Gabe sent a strong kick her way. And he was always there to pull her a bit closer, coating her in kisses as he did then. It was instinct for him, to want to keep her out of harm, to keep her from feeling any pain. And in a situation like this, when pain just happened to come along with the deal every once in a while, he knew there wasn't really anything he could do to alleviate the discomfort besides being at her side all the while. His warm hand never left her belly, gently resting there and soothingly stroking her smooth skin, all the while able to feel those little kicks from his baby boy. Despite the fact that the last kick had been rather painful, Ferris couldn't help but smile just slightly at the feel of Gabe moving around in there, seeming to sort of respond to their conversation all about him. Once sure that his wife wasn't in any real pain anymore, his arm still snug around her and keeping her close, he was able to appreciate the little miracle that was their child moving around in the womb. "I think he's a little anxious to come out," the young man murmured with a soft chuckle, turning his brown eyes back to his wife and sparkling at her as he leaned forward to kiss her cheek lovingly. "Are you alright?" he asked just to make sure, hoping that the powerful kick hadn't really left her with too much pain.

Vianna gave weak, but warm smile as Ferris began to shower her with kisses on her temple an cheekbone, her crystal blue eyes fixed on her large belly almost as if waiting for Gabe to kick again; which was perfectly possible. As Ferris then commented that his poor gem was getting kicked, the girl couldn't help but laugh lightly with amusement at the comment. "It seems so," she agreed softly with a smile. But even if it was a rather painful experience, Vianna couldn't help being a little happy when Gabe kicked or made his presence known in her stomach. It reminded her that he was there, that he was aware of his surroundings and wanted to get out and join them soon enough; something which was mutual as they wanted the little one out with them as well.

Vianna watched absentmindedly as Ferris's hand gently stroked her skin, her own free hand now resting on the side of her belly as she set her mug of chocolate aside on the coffee table with the other hand. She, too, could obviously feel little Gabe still kicking inside, adjusting himself and making himself comfortable in that which had been sort of his crib for the past eight and a half months. She smiled faintly at this feeling, and listened as Ferris commented that the little one seemed anxious to come out. She chuckled softly at this, amused by the comment. "It seems so… But he still has a couple more weeks to go," (yeah right ) said the girl, feeling a little anxious herself about Gabe's arrival. As Ferris then asked if she was alright, Vianna turned her blue-eyed gaze to the young man at her side and nodded her head in response, her smile widening slightly. "I think I'll live," she replied playfully, chuckling softly and leaning in toward him, placing a peck kiss on his lips.

Ferris listened as Vianna mentioned that Gabe did indeed seem to be anxious to come out though he still had a couple weeks to go () and the young man nodded his head in agreement. Yes, it seemed as though they still had a while to wait until their Gabe was out with them, ready to be held and loved, a face to put to the name. Distracted from these thoughts, he listened as she then assured him that she'd live from the impact of their baby boy's kick, answering his earlier concern and allowing him to feel a bit better that she was regarding such a strong kick with one of her chuckles, seeming to be fine. He gave a faint smile at this, brown eyes fixed on her blue ones for a long moment before she placed a peck on his lips that he immediately returned as lovingly as he could, finding himself thrown into instinct once more the second their lips came into contact. But once they'd broken apart and Ferris had gotten the chance to admire the sight of his wife once more, other thoughts crossed his mind, this time regarding exactly what would be happening when Gabe did decide to actually arrive.

One hand still stroking her kicking belly and the other massaging her back, Ferris's brows furrowed just slightly as he thought about what was to come, when the baby actually decided to come out. "Are you nervous?" he asked softly to the woman at his side rather suddenly, expression thoughtful as he turned his brown eyes back to her after they'd drifted to her belly. "For the labour and delivery, I mean," the boy quickly added, realizing that she might not know what he was referring to. He flashed her a weak smile, knowing that they hadn't really spoken much about the actual labour or anything, not directly. But even though he wasn't the one who would be delivering the child, Ferris was feeling just a bit anxious over the mere idea of it. He didn't want Vianna in pain, not at all. Ever. It was just one of those things that got his skin to crawl, the idea of his beautiful gem having to suffer through anything that really caused her to hurt. And he was fairly aware that such an act as delivering a baby wasn't exactly a walk in the park for most women.

Vianna was quiet for the next couple moments after their kiss had come to an end, giving the young man at her side a warm smile before relaxing back onto the couch once more, Gabe's gentle kicks slowly coming to and end and causing the girl to relax again, to drop that fear she'd been feeling of having to suffer from another one of their baby's kicks. She picked up her mug of hot chocolate once again then and took a sip from it, almost done with the drink by now, and listened as Ferris asked if she was nervous. Vianna finished her chocolate then, her eyebrows raising just slightly as she turned to the boy at her side, just about to ask what he was referring to when he proceeded to explain that he was talking about the labour and delivery. "Oh..." muttered Vianna softly, setting her mug down and amusingly enough kind of using her large belly as a table, as she let the mug rest there, both hands wrapped around it securely. "Honestly?" she asked, giving him a weak smile, "I am..." she confessed softly, her gaze returning to the fire then. "I'm scared of the pain, and the labour... no pun intended," she said with a soft chuckle. "Though I suppose that's why it's called 'labour'," she added with a faintly amused smile. "I just hope it doesn't last too long. The doctor said I could take a potion to ease the pain and just sort of... make me numb, so that's a bit comforting..." she said, trailing off for a moment. "But I'm still anxious, I want to get it over with so I can have little Gabe in my arms already," she added, her smile widening.

OOC: I've gotta get off for now Dee Deruperssss! But I should be on a good deal tomorrow (or at least I'll try). To be honest, I might be a teensy bit busy by tomorrow in the daytime, but hopefully I won't be off too much! But we're movin' againnnn with our Fervi!

Ferris listened with a slightly hesitant small smile as Vianna set her mug down gently on her belly, using it as a sort of table as she admitted to being nervous for the whole idea of delivering a child. He gave a soft, sympathetic smile as he watched her with soft brown eyes, listening as she explained that she was scared of the pain and the labour, adding that no pun was intended. His mind clouded over with a bit of sadness as she expressed her fear of the pain that came with the endeavour of delivering a baby, it took a second for him to register the tail end of her statement. The boy, not having expected such a soft joke at the end of her statement, let his brow unfurrow for a moment as he gave a soft chuckle, honestly rather amused by the girl at his side, amused that she'd even think of that in the middle of her explanation. But he understood that she might be a bit scared, able to grasp why she'd be so apprehensive to deliver a baby in just a matter of weeks, but he also knew that she most definitely wouldn't be going through it alone.

Ferris's dark brown eyes evaluated her thoughtfully as she mentioned that she hoped the labour wouldn't last too long, that the doctor had explained that she'd have a numbing potion but she was still anxious, that she just wanted to get it over with so she could just have little Gabe in her arms. "The numbing potion will help you, I'm sure," the young man promised her, a warm smile spreading across his features as he admired the sight of her, scanning her expression. "And you know that you're not going to get me out of that room," he added a bit more playfully, somehow still completely serious despite the amused smile on his pale face. "I'm going to be right at your side the entire time, there's going to be no getting rid of me," Ferris announced proudly as he pulled her closer and planted a loving kiss to her cheek, lightening the feel of the conversation as he explained this to her. "And I'll distract you and help you with the pain and sneak kisses on your lips when the nurses aren't looking," the young man decided with a soft chuckle and a grin as he leaned forward to peck her lips sweetly. After a moment, he broke apart, allowing his dark brown eyes to flutter open and admire the sight of Vianna's expression so close to his own. "Because you're my gem. And I'm not too keen on my gem feeling any pain, in case you didn't know," Ferris informed her in a sweet murmur, a warm smile still on his pale expression. "So I'm gonna be in that room the entire time and I'm just gonna have to make sure to keep the pain at bay the best I can."

ooc: Awwww alright Ruthers!! I'll hopefully see you tomorrow, then! Byeeeeeeee!

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris agreed that the numbing potion will help with the process she'd be going through in just a couple more weeks. She listened as he then went on to playfully declare that she wasn't going to get him out of the delivery room. At this, Vianna's eyebrows rose and a sort of playfulness took over her own lightly tanned features. "Is that so?" she asked, her smile widening slightly and turning amused as he then placed a kiss on her cheek, and she listened as he continued, explaining that he would distract her and help her with the pain and sneak kisses to her lips when the nurses weren't looking. At this, Vianna fell into a fit of giggles, far too amused by the thought of sneaking kisses with her husband while in the middle of giving birth to their child; it was an amusing thought, but not a very realistic one. Kissing was probably going to be the last thing on the girl's mind at that moment, though she was forever grateful for her husband's playful schemes, returning the peck kiss he then placed on her lips. As the wonderful and brief gesture came to an end, Vianna's blue eyes fluttered open to reveal a sort of sparkling in them, listening as the young man at her side spoke once more, explaining that he wasn't too keen on her feeling any pain, so he was going to be in that room the entire time and he was going to make sure to keep the pain at bay as best he could. Vianna beamed at him then, pure love and adoration reflecting from her sparkling blue eyes, a sort of dreamy look taking over her expression. But how could she not be totally and completely charmed at that moment? Here was the person she loved more than anything on the planet assuring her of his presence during Gabe's birth, of his role as the one to soothe her pain, to make her feel more at ease during a time that would obviously not be the most comfortable and relaxing for her. And though it was just words that he was sharing with her right now, Vianna had known the boy long and well enough to know that his words always translated to actions, to know that he always kept his promises to her, that he had never let her down, and if he was promising to be there with her and help as best he could... then chances were he was going to be there with her and help as best he could. And she loved this. She loved how caring he was, how considerate he was of her; she felt blessed to have ended up with someone this loving and caring. He was, alongside Gabe, the best thing to ever happen to her. And she communicated this to him through the gesture that followed that comfortable silence in which she had been left merely admiring him quietly; she placed her lips upon his own, kissing the boy as lovingly as she could, showing as much emotion through this gesture as she could, allowing him a window to peek into her mind, to read her thoughts and feelings at the moment. She wanted him to know, she needed him to know how much she appreciated him and all the things he did for her. She wasn't sure what had brought it on, but that was simply the way she felt at this moment, that was the urge that had come over her, the urge to let him know of the feelings she couldn't put into words.

Ferris watched with adoring brown eyes as Vianna's expression turned slightly dreamy with his words, her blue eyes sparkling at him in a way that got his heart to warm up and melt right then and there. Happy that his words seemed to have such an affect on the woman at his side, he merely admired the sight of her for that long comfortable moment, taking in every feature on that beautiful face, thinking absentmindedly about how gorgeous her blue eyes were in contrast to her lightly tanned skin. And then suddenly, before he'd even realized she had leaned in, she was kissing him. She was kissing him with all of the loving she seemed to be able to put into a kiss, her lips communicating something to him that words could never fully describe. Beginning to return the gesture slowly but enthusiastically, Ferris was immediately able to feel all of what she was feeling, somehow able to tell that there was a sort of gratefulness in the way her lips moved on his own, that she was definitely pleased with his promise to always be at her side. It was easy to tell that she was appreciative of his promises, of the way he treated her... And that made him more happy than he could've ever expected from himself. Suddenly he was returning the kiss as lovingly as he could, pulling her closer very gently as he too began to communicate a bit of a message. But he wanted her to know that he was always going to be there. Always. And there wasn't a chance in the world that he was going to miss the birth of his own child, let alone leave his beautiful wife (the most important thing on the planet to him) to go through labour all by herself. Ferris wanted her to know, to feel that there was nothing in the world that could ever pull him away from her side, that he was going to be there with her the entire time and not just for the birth but for everything and anything that came up in their lives. He would be there. And he wanted her to feel that, to know that she and Gabe were his first priority. Always.

Vianna's lips were curving just the slightest bit into a smile as she continued kissing the boy at her side, soon able to read his own message, his own thoughts about her and their growing baby. She was happy, happier than words could ever tell. She had the best husband in the world, a supportive family, a beautiful baby that would be arriving soon (and of course, wonderful pets too), and life just seemed... perfect. Her little family was going to be perfect. She was going to be the absolute best mother she could to their little Gabe, and she was sure Ferris was going to be the best father their child could ever ask for. He would be the most loved little baby in the world, and their lives were going to be filled with even more love than they already were at this point. They were going to be a happy little family, she was sure of it, and she couldn't wait for little Gabe to join them already, to feel all the love his parents were ready to shower him with.

And so, with all these beautiful thoughts and realizations in mind, Vianna eventually pulled away from what had turned out to be a pretty long kiss. Her crystal blue eyes fluttered open and the faint smile on her lips widened, bright and happy like her sparkling, dreamy gaze. "You're the best husband any girl could ever ask for, you know that?" Vianna commented to the boy at her side with a soft chuckle, though her gaze seemed to turn a little more endeared before she turned it away, returning her head to the boy's shoulder and watching the fire absentmindedly instead. She cuddled up beside him, warm and cozy, and growing the slightest bit sleepy. But when it was so warm and cozy in their little home, and she was feeling so relaxed, it always made the girl a little sleepy, ready to just lay in bed and sleep the rest of the night away. "I love you so much..." she said softly, turning just slightly to place a kiss on his neck, not a teasing one, but just a peck one, before turning back to the fire and continuing to use the boy's shoulder as a comfortable pillow.

As they broke apart from their loving kiss, Ferris couldn't get his mind away from his beautiful wife and their little baby, his thoughts revolving on the two of them as though he'd never even heard of anything else. But that kiss had left him stunned, left his lips completely satisfied and the goofiest of smiles on his pale face, lopsided as always as his mind floated over the idea of all of this. In just a couple weeks they'd have little Gabe, out in the world and in their arms, ready to receive all of their love and attention and the young man honestly couldn't wait to give it to him. He'd have a little son, a little baby boy that would be a perfect little combination of both himself and Vianna and the mere idea of such a being coming into existence... It was something that made him happier than he ever thought he could be. His dark brown eyes were sparkling shamelessly at the girl at his side as they broke apart from their beautiful kiss, having just communicated in the most special of ways, without words.

Just as he thought that his heart couldn't get any more warm, couldn't melt any further, Vianna spoke to inform him in her sweet voice that he was the best husband any girl could ask for, wondering playfully if he had known that. His heart gave a bit of a flip at this comment, his smile widening to spread further over his expression as he admired the sight of her, quite obviously completely flattered by such a statement. "I want to be that for you," Ferris murmured to her honestly, flashing her a bit of a grin as he pulled the girl closer to himself, watching as she cuddled back into his chest, her head resting on his broad shoulder. "And you don't know how nice it is to hear that I'm not doing that bad of a job," he joked softly to her ear as he leaned down just slightly to plant a warm kiss on her forehead, his arms still snug around her and his free hand still resting on her bare belly. But it really did feel nice, feel like he was supporting her when she needed it, making her happy as he so strived to do each day. It was just nice to hear. "Because you're pretty much the best wife I could've ever asked for," he added a little more softly, his voice rather intimate as he spoke to her ear sweetly, still keeping her as warm as he could with one hand on her belly and the other on the small of her back, cuddled next to her in the back corner of their comfortable couch. It was then that her soft voice wafted through the air, sweet as it told him how much she loved him, a comment that never, ever ceased to get his heart to sort of stutter with a warm, loving disbelief. Ever since he was seventeen, everytime she said those words to him he found himself reminded of how lucky he was to have Vianna at his side, to have her love him like he so loved her. "I love you so much, gem," he returned softly, honestly as his brown eyes closed momentarily, thinking on the strong statement that was so entirely true. And then he felt a warm, soft kiss to his pale neck, knowing that the girl had reached up just slightly in order to give that to him, and the warmest of his lopsided smiles fell onto his expression then. "Mm..." he murmured softly as he gave a contented sigh. "I don't think you understand just how happy you're making me, Vi," the young man suddenly said, his voice just as soft as it had been before but now inspired by a new train of thought. "You're my best friend, the most gorgeous girl I have ever come across in my life, you made the happiest man alive and married me..." he listed off gently, his smile widening slightly as he pulled her closer. "...and now you're giving me a baby boy...our little baby boy.." He trailed off as he thought about this, "And I have never been happier in all my life," he murmured softly, disbelievingly as he gave a soft chuckle. "I didn't think I could get anymore genuinely happy...and then you were pregnant, and all of that changed..." Ferris turned his eyes to the girl at his side once more, the brown hue of them sparkling at the sight of her, "Ever since you entered my life, you keep making me happier and happier, gem," he admitted softly.

Vianna smiled warmly as Ferris assured her that he wanted to be the best husband for her, going on to add that she didn't know how nice it was for him to hear that he wasn't doing that bad of a job. The girl laughed lightly with amusement at this, shaking her head just slightly at his choice of words, though she was able to read the playfulness in it. Her crystal blue eyes remained glued to the fire burning in the fireplace and her smile widened as he placed a kiss on her forehead, a gesture that could always get the girl to feel like the most loved person in the planet. As Ferris then added that she was the best wife he could have ever asked for, Vianna's smile transformed into a bit of a grin, obviously pleased to hear this. "I'm glad you think so, Professor," she replied softly, honestly happy that she wasn't a terrible wife to her husband or anything of the sort.

Vianna's right hand absentmindedly returned to her belly, her blue eyes now falling upon it as she absentmindedly began to trace invisible patterns on the smooth, lightly tanned skin. She listened as Ferris then spoke once more, sharing that he loved her, and the smile returned to her lips, happy and bright as always. As the young man then shared that she didn't understand how happy she was making him, the girl's hand that was on her belly came to a halt and her eyebrows rose slightly as she turned her gaze to the boy beside her. "Oh, really?" she asked with a hint of playfulness in her tone, though there was curiosity in her eyes. Attentively, she listened as her husband proceeded to explain that she was his best friend, the most gorgeous girl he'd ever met, and she made him the happiest man alive and married him; at all of this, Vianna smiled warmly, her crystal blue eyes beginning to sparkle the way they so often did, the way only Ferris could get them to sparkle. Her smile widened to a grin as he went on to add that she was now giving them their new little baby boy, that he had never been happier in his life; and that was a feeling that was completely mutual, as Vianna felt the same way - happier than she had ever been, happier than she had ever thought possible. And that was the beauty of their relationship - even when they thought they had already reached the peak of happiness, just when they thought they couldn't possibly be any happier, something happened to change that, something happened to make them even happier than before. It was the best feeling in the world.

Vianna was distracted from these thoughts as Ferris then shared with her that ever since she had entered his life, she kept making him happier and happier, something which got her grin to widen and her blue eyes to sparkle brighter. Her heart felt like it might just melt right then and there, a sudden wave of happiness washing over her. But it was so nice to hear him say that; it was the most beautiful sound, hearing him share how happy she made him; it was something she took pride in, something that always made her incredibly happy, glad, even feel fulfilled. But he always made her happy, almost every day for the past six years, so it was nice to know she was doing the same for him in return. "Why are you so perfect, Professor?" Vianna asked after a moment's silence, an amused chuckle escaping her lips. "I never for a second thought I'd end up being this lucky… but sometimes when I look back to our days in camp, to our first days together… I feel so lucky that we're here now. We were so close to never meeting - we went to the same school for six years and never noticed!" she said with raised eyebrows. "We got really lucky at camp…" she added with a warm smile.

Ferris's brown eyes were scanning her beautiful expression, taking in her bright blue eyes and her large, sweet grin shamelessly, loving every second that he could watch his wife's beautiful face. He listened as she then spoke, asking him why he was so perfect and he let out a hearty chuckle at the unexpected question. "Far from it," he denied with a bit of a lopsided grin, giving a soft chuckle as he continued to think about such a statement. But he knew he was far from perfect, in a number of ways. The only thing that ever seemed to be perfect about his life was Vianna, and he loved that. He loved that the one constant, the one thing that always brought a smile to his face, was his beautiful little wife, his best friend who was always there for him, at his side. She made everything perfect.

Ferris listened with rather amused, endeared brown eyes as Vianna explained how lucky she felt looking back on their first days at camp together, thinking aloud about how close they'd been to not meeting, how they'd gone to the same school for six years and didn't even notice each other. The mere idea of such a thing seemed ridiculous to him, disbelieving that he could've ever truly lived without Vianna at his side. It just felt like he'd wasted six whole years of his life, six years that he could've been knowing her... But everything happened for a reason, and for some reason they'd been at the same camp at the same time, and met unexpectedly. "I know gem," the young man agreed with an amused smile as Vianna mentioned that they'd gotten lucky at camp, a statement that he completely agreed with. "I mean, I almost didn't go in the first place," he reminded her with an amused smile, thinking to how the whole camp had been optional to him since he'd already had enough schooling to graduate. "And then, even when I got there, if it wasn't for Jack we never would've met," he reminded her with raised eyebrows and a soft chuckle. But he'd very randomly met Jack the first day of camp and it was him who convinced him into visiting the girls' side of the dorms, where he first set eyes on his wife. And had Jack not suggested that harmless little activity for the day, he probably would've spent the months of camp by himself, wandering around with his book and staying cooped up in his dorm. But just because of that one decision to wander over to the girls' side that first day, he'd met Vianna...and everything had changed.

The mere idea of not knowing his wife was practically painful to the young man who couldn't even imagine a life without her. He knew that if he didn't have Vianna, his life wouldn't... Well, it wouldn't really be anything. Vianna was everything to him, his life was so happy, so great because he had her. She was the key to everything. "Let's not think about that though," Ferris decided with a sheepish smile. "I don't want to think about not having you," he grumbled sweetly as he pulled her closer and planted a warm kiss to her lips, kissing them for a short moment before breaking apart and resting his forehead on her own.

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris reminded her that there had been a very good chance that he wouldn't have even attended the camp back then, that it had only been an option for him, whereas for her it had been a requirement. And had he chosen not to go… well, they wouldn't be where they are right now. Little Gabe wouldn't exist, and they wouldn't have this little house, or their adorable pets, or any of the beautiful memories they created after meeting that one time. Wow… Just the thought of it, of what life would have been like if she had never met the boy made Vianna's brows furrow slightly, not a very pleased expression on her face. Her life would have been so… bland, so dull, lacking of the sweetness and loving that surrounded it now.

Vianna snapped out of thoughts and chuckled softly as Ferris reminded her that it was thanks to Jack that they had met, rather amused by how their close friend had made such an important move in their lives without any of them even realizing it at the moment. He had no idea, at the time, that these two characters he'd accidentally bring together that one afternoon, were going to grow up to fall madly in love with each other, date for years, marry, and then have a child. It was… well, kind of crazy when she thought about it that way. How just one small decision could have made such a huge change in their lives.
As Ferris then asked they not think about that anymore, Vianna gave a soft chuckle and nodded her head in agreement. "And I don't want to think about not having my argyle-clad, book-reading Professor," she responded with a giggle, before his lips then met her own in the sweetest of kisses, one she was quick to return lovingly and adoringly. The girl was quiet as it came to an end, a warm smile permanently glued to her lightly tanned face as she admired the sight of the boy beside her. After a few moments of comfortable silence, her gaze fell to the empty mugs that had once been filled with hot chocolate and asked, "More chocolate, Professor?"

Ferris gave a bit of a grin as the girl at his side mentioned that she didn't want to think about not having her argyle-clad, book-reading Professor, a comment that got his expression to warm up a bit more, his smile seeming to turn a bit sweeter. Brown eyes practically sparkling at her as he watched her and she watched him, he admired her as she finally broke off their gaze and asked if he wanted more hot chocolate. He thought for a moment before shaking his head with a small smile, "No, I'm alright," he decided softly before playfully pulling her back into his chest, though she'd hardly moved in the first place, simply returning her to their most comfortable state, when there wasn't any room between them. Arms still warm around her and free hand resting on her bare belly, he placed a loving kiss onto her temple, then another one to her cheek. "Are you sleepy?" he asked her ear softly, sort of forgetting that the young woman might've wanted some more hot chocolate for herself. The thought didn't seem to occur to the young man who obviously had no desire to release his wife any time soon. But she just felt so good in his arms, she always had. And before the pregnancy it was because they fit together perfectly, like puzzle pieces. But now that she had that beautiful belly, they had to sit just a bit differently though just as comfortably, and somehow he found that her belly was wonderful to wrap his arms around. He loved the feel of it beneath his fingertips, loved when he could bring her closer and feel her and their little baby boy in his arms. This position, with his arms so securely placed around Vianna and her growing belly, seemed to be instinctual to the young man who never even had to think about it. It was just something that was automatic, be it because he wanted to feel her at his side with their little baby or just because he put his arm around her casually... He didn't even realize how protective it looked, how much it seemed like he was sort of guarding his wife and her beautiful belly from the rest of the world, keeping her comfortable in his embrace. And rarely realizing it, Ferris was very much doing just that; protecting his wife and baby without even thinking about it.

ooc: BRB in like 15-20 minutes, Ruthers!

Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly as Ferris shared that he was alright and didn't need any more hot chocolate before pulling her closer yet again, rather amused by the way the boy seemed so reluctant to let her go or release her. And she didn't mind, she liked being at his side, feeling his presence close to her, feeling the way his arms wrapped protectively around herself and her growing belly; it was always comfortable for the girl, a cozy feeling. Vianna smiled warmly then, as his lips met her temple and cheek before he went on to ask if she was sleepy. Ironically enough, just as the boy asked this question, a sleepy yawn escaped Vianna's lips, and she chuckled softly at the coincidence for a brief moment before nodding her head. "Yeah, I think I'm ready to go to bed," she admitted softly, lifting her head from the boy's shoulder so she could turn her gaze to him. "What about you, Professor?"

OOC: Ok! Hopefully I'll still be on, but I'm gonna have to get off pretty soon, though I'm not quite sure when... So you'll know I had to go if I just randomly disappear ! Either way, I'll be back later tonight!

Ferris gave a bit of a warm smile as Vianna let out a sleepy yawn at his question, rather amused by the coincidence, before listening as she admitted to being ready for bed and asking if he was too. "Well, either way I'm gonna follow you up there," the young man replied with a soft smile, sparkling brown eyes fixed solely on her as he thought about his own statement. But it was true, and they both knew it. Even if Ferris had spent all day sleeping and had just woken up, if Vianna was going up the stairs to fall asleep there wasn't a chance in the world that he wouldn't follow her. It was just how he was. He wanted to be at her side whenever he could, especially when they'd just spent the evening sharing kisses and stories, creating a rather intimate conversation that he was reluctant to let go of; reluctant to let go of her, really. He was still just as much of a sick puppy as he was when he'd first fallen in love with her, and he didn't mind in the slightest. "But I am a bit tired," Ferris admitted with an amused smile, letting out a soft chuckle as he leaned forward to peck her lips lovingly for a sweet moment.

ooc: Alright Ruthers, no problem!

Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly as Ferris merely responded to her question by explaining that either way, he was going to follow her up to their room, something which didn't surprise the girl as it was completely true. Ferris always accompanied to bed, even if he wasn't all that sleepy himself, and it was just one of the many things he did that always charmed her, always got her to smile brightly. As the boy then shared he was actually a bit tired, Vianna let out another chuckle. "Well, good. Because I do feel a little bad falling asleep and leaving my Professor by himself," she confessed with a warm smile, returning the peck kiss he then placed on her lips. As it came to an end, her smile widened and her crystal blue eyes fluttered open to sparkle brightly and lovingly at him for the next couple moments, before she snapped out of her daze and sat up, pulling herself off the boy she'd sort of been resting on. "Off to bed we go!" she announced in that cheerful way she so often did, before getting up from the couch, a little slowed down by her large belly, and offering Ferris a hand once she was up on her feet.

Ferris listened as Vianna confessed that she would've felt bad falling asleep and leaving her Professor by himself, a comment that got him to give a bit of a grin, dimples coming out of hiding once more as he watched her for a long moment, loving the sight of her beautiful expression. It was then that she suddenly announced that they were off to bed (cheerfully as she always was), getting up to her feet slowly because of her large belly and offering the young man a hand from his place on the couch. But he was all too distracted, seeming not to realize that he was supposed to take that hand as his sparkling brown eyes were fixed on the sight of her, admiring her with the warmest of his lopsided goofy smiles. But there she was, big belly preceding her, bundled up in one of his favourite sweaters and putting out her hand to him, so petite and gorgeous that he didn't know what to do with himself. "Why are you so cute?!" he complained in a playful grumble and he finally took her hand and gently got up from the couch, slipping his arms around her and pulling her into him in one swift motion. "Because when you're so cute like that, your husband can't keep his lips away from you," he warned in his low, sweet grumble as his lips trailed up her jawline, leaving sweet kisses as he went. "And when you wear those sweaters and you've got that belly, you're creating a dangerous combination that can only lead to him stealing you off and never letting you go..."[/U]
