| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

ooc: Ohhh okay then! I don't feel bad!
& Awww alright, Ruthers! Yeah I don't think I'm going to be around at that time So hopefully I'll just see you tomorrow!
Vianna was pleased as Ferris quickly scrambled to get up from the couch when he realized that she really was seriously asking him for ice cream, though she made no expression that would give this away, her brows still furrowed and her crystal blue eyes still demanding. She watched as the boy then got to his feet, announcing that he was going to go get her ice cream, but warning her not to go near the room. Vianna merely furrowed her brows further at him and turned her gaze away, deciding she wanted to give him the silent treatment now. But the second he was gone, the girl's angry expression washed away to be replaced by one of curiosity instead, even a bit of mischief. She got up to her feet quickly, soon regretting that as it made her feel a bit dizzy, but she held on to the arm of the couch for a moment and quickly regained composure. Vianna then quickly made her way over to the stairs, almost running up the steps until she reached the second floor; and once there she, of course, immediately made her way over to the baby's room. She locked the door behind her, using not only the door's regular lock but adding a couple spells on to it as well, determined to stay in here now that she'd finally managed to get inside without Ferris making her feel like she was made out of thin glass and could break at any second just from breathing the air in the room.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Awww, well alright I'll just see you tomorrow Dee! Ferris returned to his home approximately ten minutes later, carrying three gallons of ice cream (flavors chosen after carefully considering what had been Vianna's favourites over the past few months). He had apparated back into the kitchen, stowing away his new findings in the freezer after scooping out Vianna an ice cream cone, not quite ready to return to the living room and face her just yet. As much as he loved his wife and as much as he knew it was her hormones talking for her, any guy didn't really appreciate being snapped at after doing nothing wrong, especially after a long day. He wanted a shower, he wanted bed, and he wanted his pregnant wife to stop freaking out over things. But he knew this would all only start with an ice cream cone, a small white flag, if you will. He returned to the living room armed with a waffle cone, filled to the top with three scoops of cookies n' cream ice cream, only to see that his wife was nowhere in sight.
After a moment of panic and another of realization, his mind resulted in only one conclusion; the nursery. Of course his wife would take this opportunity to do exactly what he asked the opposite of! How could he have been so stupid?! Ferris ran up the stairs, taking them two at a time and immediately running over to the nursery's closed door, turning the handle fruitlessly with a groan. "Vianna!" he yelled through the door, still carrying the ice cream cone in his left hand. "You better come out of there!" he continued, taking out his wand and trying a few unlocking spells that hardly did anything on the door who apparently wasn't too thrilled with him either.

Vianna gave a bit of a startled jump as she suddenly heard her name being called out from the other side of the door which her husband was trying to open, but the door wouldn't open thanks to the locking spells she'd placed on it earlier. Her brows furrowed slightly as he asked her to come out, and very stubbornly the girl simply replied "No!" She was taking a moment to examine the room, to see what they still had missing and searching for something she could be of help with before she heard something tapping on the window. "I know that if I come out now you'll never let me in, Professor," she explained further to the boy who was still trying to get inside, now making her way over to the window. Outside, on the windowsill, stood a large brown owl carrying a letter in its beak. Vianna opened the window then, assuming this must've just been another letter from her parents or her brothers, or perhaps from Ferris's parents or someone from his hometown. However, the envelope was not addressed to either 'Mr. Ferris Montgomery' or 'Mrs. Vianna Montgomery' but rather 'Mr. & Mrs. Montgomery'. Vianna grew quiet then, completely forgetting about her earlier intentions of doing something in the room and keeping her husband locked out as she grew distracted by this letter, the seal on the back indicating that it was coming from the doctor's office. This got the girl's heart to jump in her chest, a wave of anxiety and nerves washing over her; could it be...?

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a roll of his eyes and a rough grumble from the back of his throat as Vianna stubbornly denied his requests for her to come out of the room, only explaining that if she left now he would never let her back in. "Vi!" he called, still talking through the door. "You better come out right now!" he warned, though he had absolutely nothing to back it up with. His stance fell just slightly as a few moments passed, "Look, Vi, I'll let you into the room, okay!?" he called with a sigh, rolling his eyes once more at his wife's stubborness and the silence now eminating from the nursery's door. "But you can'--" he paused as his eyes drifted down to the melting ice cream cone in his left hand, his eyebrows raising slightly as he recognized that he still had it. "Vi, you better come out right now or I'm gonna eat this three-scoop cookies 'n cream waffle cone myself!" Ferris threatened more legitimately, eyebrows raising at his own offensive move, knowing that his wife could hardly ever resist whatever she was craving, which a lot of the time happened to be ice cream. But then a few more moments passed in silence and his brows furrowed slightly, "Vi?"

Vianna seemed not to hear Ferris's warnings and threats to eat the ice cream cone from the other side of the door. She was completely consumed in this now, in what news might be written inside this envelope, hoping dearly that this was the news she and her husband had been waiting for all these days, all of this past week. She was just about to open it when she realized... well, that probably wasn't very fair (sane Vianna coming back into the picture). She knew Ferris was as anxious to know their child's gender as she was, so it would only be fair that they open this together, that they find out the news together. So she conjured up a quick snack to give the owl still standing outside before closing the window and making her way over to the door. She removed the locking spells then and opened the door, only to find Ferris standing on the other side, tall as always and carrying an ice cream cone with melting ice cream dripping onto his hand. But the girl seemed not to be paying attention to that detail, her blue eyes looking a little anxious and surprised as she watched the boy for a moment before speaking, "We got a letter," she said softly, referring to the envelope she was carrying in her hands. "It's from the doctor."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris was just about to consider actually eating this ice cream cone (all the while mentioning his actions to his wife through the door) when said door suddenly opened, and there stood Vianna. His eyebrows rose at the sight of his pregnant wife's anxious and rather surprised expression, listening as she then admitted that they'd gotten a letter. His mind momentarily ran through the people that possibly could've sent them an important letter before Vianna answered this question for him; it was from the doctor. The ice cream cone dropped from his grasp, though the young man seemed not to notice this in the slightest as his brown eyes drifted down to the letter in her hands. "The doctor?" he repeated, immediately realizing what this must've meant. His pale expression broke out into a warm sort of hesitant smile, realizing that this must've been what they'd been waiting for. They'd finally know. Blinking a couple times, he stepped over the threshold into the nursery, taking his place right in front of her as he flashed her a bit of a smile. "Do you think...?" he started, all traces of annoyance at her runaway act gone from his excited expression.

Vianna nodded her head as Ferris asked for confirmation about this letter being from the doctor, a small smile curving the corners of her rosy lips at the sight of her husband's clear hesitance but obvious excitement about this. As he then asked if she thought... Vianna understood the question, and her smile widened slightly. "I'm thinking it is," she said softly, her gaze falling to the envelope she was holding in her hands for a moment before she held it out for the boy to take into his own hands. "You can open it," she told him softly, excitement beginning to sparkle in her crystal blue eyes, still unaware of the ice cream that had now fallen to the wooden floors of their home. But nothing mattered at this moment, nothing besides that letter and what information it might contain, on the fact that this might be the moment they finally learn if they were getting ready to expect a mini Ferris or a mini Vianna, something which they had been wondering about since the very day the girl found out she was pregnant.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a sheepish smile as Vianna told him he could open it, putting the nice little envelope into his larger hands, excitement clear on her expression. He clearly mirrored this excitement, this eagerness to find out what this letter contained for them; if they were having a boy or a girl. He knew that it didn't matter; that no matter what their baby was, it would be loved just the same. But still... It was exciting.
Hands a bit unsteady, the young man gently slipped his thumb beneath the seal of the back of the envelope, beginning to break the bond between the pieces of paper and in result, opening the envelope. Ferris exchanged an excited look with the girl at his side before slipping out the folded note enclosed, unfolding it in front of his brown eyes as he read it aloud:
"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery," he started, voice more excited than he'd expected it to be, wavering just slightly. "We have done the tests required to gather the information of your baby's gender just this week, as you requested. Everything looks perfectly well and I'm very pleased to inform you that you should be expecting a baby boy," at this point, Ferris's voice faltered just slightly as he took in this news, as he realized what this actually meant. This falter wasn't one of disappointment or anything of the sort, not at all! Rather, this little falter was one of complete and total excited shock. They were having a baby boy! "...in approximately 6 months, possibly a bit less. Congratulations! I'll be looking forward to giving you my best regards in person when we meet next week for our bimonthly appointments." Ferris had read the rest of the letter in an almost breathless tone, obviously not really reading it but rather letting his mind roll over the idea of having a baby boy. A boy! He grinned, turning to Vianna with the most excited of his warm expressions shining through his scruffy face. "Vi..." he murmured to her breathlessly, dropping the letter before lifting her up in his arms gently and carefully, though swiftly all at the same time. He supported her firmly, and though she wasn't as light as she always was, he was still able to hold her up a good foot from the ground, letting out a few soft chuckles of amazement as he spun her around.

Vianna fell into a complete silence as Ferris took the envelope from her hands, pure excitement but anxiety taking over as she watched the boy open the envelope. She could almost hear her quickened heartbeat echoing in her head, growing more and more anxious with each passing second, desperate to know already what exactly had been taking residence in her belly all this time - a boy or a girl. The girl's blue eyes left the envelope and turned to the boy's own brown ones instead as he began to read, listening quietly and attentively to each and every word that escaped his lips, her excitement growing with each word. And it was then, only after a couple lines into the letter, that the news came, the announcement was made - they were having a boy! A baby boy! The rest of the letter, anything after 'boy' was a blur to the girl and she seemed not to hear another word as her blue eyes began to sparkle brightly and her smile transformed into an excited grin, her gaze falling to her belly then. Her hands caressed its perfectly round shape with a sort of fascination - little NoName was a boy! She couldn't believe it. It was so… well, exciting! It was great to finally know that she was expecting a little boy, that they could finally start choosing a colour for the walls of the nursery, and they could even start deciding on names for the future baby! It was so exciting, so surreal, and just overall completely… wonderful!
The girl was distracted from these thoughts, though, as her feet suddenly left the wooden floors when her husband lifted her about a foot from the ground, pure excitement and amazement very clear on his features. The girl beamed at him, that same excitement and amazement and overall joy quite clear in her own sparkling blue eyes, a number of giggles escaping her lips as he spun the girl around. She leaned in toward him then, her hands resting on his shoulders as her lips met his own in a kiss that was a little distracted due to the couple's current excitement, but it was filled with pure love and adoration, pure happiness. She pulled back a moment later, her crystal blue eyes fluttering open and the grin returning to her lightly tanned face. "It's a boy, Professor!" she announced, as if he didn't know this already. "We're having a boy!" Giggles escaped her lips once more, obviously still beyond thrilled and excited with this news.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's soft, distracted chuckles came to an end as Vianna let her lips find his own, a gesture that he immediately returned lovingly, though just slightly absentminded. But he was a little too excited at that one moment! Far too happy, the young man returned the kiss sweetly for the few moments it lasted before they broke apart and he was left staring at those bright blue eyes he loved so much. He grinned at the sight of her, keeping her close to his broad chest as he absentmindedly rested back against the doorframe, brown eyes sparkling at his wife as she informed him that they were having a boy, giggling all the while. "I know, gem, I know!" he replied with a few soft chuckles, pecking her lips lovingly with a warm smile still prominent on his expression. But he couldn't seem to tone his excitement down, couldn't find himself anymore pleased with the idea of having a baby boy. Sure, a baby girl would've been just as perfect, of course! But now they had an official gender to go by, and that made it all the more real, all the more exciting that this real, human little baby would be coming into their lives just in a few months. "A boy..." he murmured softly with dazed brown eyes once his chuckles had died down and he was left watching his wife, gaze still sparkling.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris explained to her that he already knew, watching the amazement and disbelief on his expression with a sort of fascination of her own. "Our little boy..." muttered the girl thoughtfully, her gaze falling to that belly that stood between her and her husband at the moment. It wasn't large enough to really take all that much space yet, as she was still rather early on, but it was going to keep growing and growing until one day being this close to the boy might be a little difficult. "I hope he looks just like you," commented the girl with a bright smile, completely fascinated by the idea of a little boy who would resemble her husband exactly as he was - with curly brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, adorable dimples, and overall handsome features. She knew that wasn't possible, the child obviously had to have genes from both parents not just one, but she seemed a little more fascinated with the idea of a little boy who resembled her husband than the idea of a little boy who looked just like her. She was just biased. Her gaze returned to the boy before her then, her smile as bright as her sparkling blue eyes, disbelief still evident on her lightly tanned face.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's grin immediately seemed to widen as Vianna softly mentioned the idea of 'their little boy', a comment that got his heart to swell in a way it never had before. It was excited, anxious, totally and completely in love with the idea of having a little boy with his favourite person on the planet. He was already imagining what this would be like, what their lives would be like with a little boy in the picture, growing up with them as parents. It was then, just as his gaze was scanning her expression admiringly, that Vianna hoped aloud that their child looked just like him, a comment that got his eyebrows to raise just slightly, an amused smile spreading across his calm, warm expression. "Don't be silly," he complained playfully, leaning forward to peck her lips lovingly, sweetly. "I want our boy to look like his mum as much as possible," he hoped softly, leaning his forehead against her own as their noses touched gently. "I want him to light up a room like she does..." he continued, his voice a little more quiet as the conversation turned a little more intimate, just between the two of them as though no one else existed on the planet. He searched her blue eyes with his own sparkling brown ones for just a moment before slowly letting his lips find her own sweetly.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris playfully asked her not to be silly, then sharing with the girl that he wanted their boy to look like his mother as much as possible, something which got the girl's expression to brighten even further. Her smile widened as he leaned his forehead against her own, the tip of his nose brushing just slightly with her own, and her crystal blue eyes watched his own admiringly as he spoke, mentioning how he wanted their son to light up a room like she did. Vianna beamed at this, completely charmed and flattered by the boy's words, and just as she was about to lean in and place a kiss on his lips, the boy beat her to it, awarding the girl a kiss she was quick to return as sweetly and lovingly as she could, still completely thrilled with the idea of having a son. Finally; she wasn't just a pregnant lady expecting to have a baby; she was a future mum expecting a boy, a son who would resemble both herself and her husband, a little boy who would be the love of their lives from the very second he'd be born. She just felt so much closer to her child now, knowing his gender, knowing what to expect in around six months. It was incredibly exciting.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris couldn't have felt more thrilled as he returned Vianna's kiss as lovingly as he could, his lips seeming to have a mind of their own as they took control, kissing his wife with a sweetness that came from somewhere deep inside himself, from the same place that caused his heart to swell up so happily at the idea of a son. He'd have a son! He couldn't have been more happy to have an object of his thoughts now, a more detailed baby to focus on. This wasn't just a baby anymore; this was a baby boy. Their baby boy. They could finally paint the nursery and choose some names and choose the colour for the baby shower..... He snapped out of his daze immediately, breaking apart from Vianna reluctantly and flashing her a weak smile. But he had to tell their mothers so they could get a blue colour scheme for the baby shower the next day! "I love you," Ferris told his wife with the warmest of smiles, letting out a soft chuckle at his own rather abrupt separation of their lips. "Why don't..." he started, carefully putting her down with brown eyes still sparkling. "Wh-Why don't you go downstairs, I've gotta send a letter to Mum," he suggested with raised eyebrows. "And I promise, when I get down there I'll get you another ice cream and about a million more kisses, alright?" he added a little more playfully, letting out a soft chuckle, though he seemed rather anxious now to get in contact with his mother. "I'll be two minutes. You can time me."

Vianna's crystal blue eyes fluttered open as Ferris suddenly pulled away from their kiss, a little puzzled though still feeling far too excited to really make much of this at the moment. She gave him a warm smile as he spoke, before replying, "I love you too, Professor." She listened as he then continued, this time suggesting that she go downstairs while he sent a letter to his mother. Vianna raised her eyebrows slightly in mild surprise but nodded her head, assuming the boy was just excited and wanted to let his parents know of the gender of their future grandson right away. She smiled as her feet met the wooden floors and listened with amusement as Ferris promised her that he would join her downstairs in two minutes, that he would get her another ice cream cone and a million more kisses. The girl laughed lightly at this, completely amused. "Alright Professor, I'll see you downstairs," she said, leaning on her toes to place a peck kiss on his lips before cleaning up the mess that had been left on the floor from the last ice cream cone with a wave of her wand, turning off the lights of the nursery room and gently closing the door behind her once they were both out. And as the boy went off in his own direction, Vianna headed downstairs with a smile still permanently glued to her face, obviously still beyond thrilled with the news they'd just received.
The girl was still hungry, though, just now seeming to remember that earlier craving she'd been having. So instead of heading over to the living room and waiting for her husband, the girl made her way over to the kitchen, pulling out a bowl from one of the cabinets and filling it with enough ice cream to fill up both herself and the growing baby, which resulted in a tiny mountain of ice cream inside this bowl. She took a spoon and then walked out to the living room, sitting on the couch the couple had been sitting on earlier that night, close enough to the fire to relish in its warmth.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris seemed slightly relieved that Vianna had taken to his words so easily, not questioning them as she headed down the stairs and left him to head into their bedroom to write the letter. He returned about ten minutes later, stomping down the stairs without meaning to (it was just the way his long legs made his feet hit their hardwood staircase), only to see his wife on the couch eating a giant bowl of ice cream. He let out a soft chuckle at the sight of her, walking across the room until he was able to join her on the couch, slipping into a laying position behind her easily as she'd left a bit of room between herself and the back of their cushions. He let out a soft sigh, the warmest of smiles on his pale face as he let her stay sitting up, knowing that that was probably for the best when she was eating. But Ferris's large warm hand found the small of her back (which was resting right next to his stomach), very gently beginning to massage right there as he knew had become appreciated over the past couple months. As the baby got bigger, so did the strain on his wife's back, and whenever he could he made it his duty to very gently massage that one spot he'd long ago realized was her most tension-filled. Ferris's warm smile was still prominent on his expression, obviously still in a bit of a daze over the fact that they had a baby boy growing inside his wife's stomach.

Vianna looked up as she heard the all-too-familiar stomping noise that her husband usually made when he was walking down the stairs. She chuckled softly, watching as he then proceeded to lay down behind her, and she gave him a warm smile before returning her attention to the ice cream, which she was about half-way done with now. Now that she was eating for two, the girl not only had large portions but ate quicker as well. It was a bit amusing, since Vianna had never really been one to gobble down her food in only a few minutes, but things had obviously changed since NoName came into the picture. The girl's smile widened slightly as she felt Ferris's hand on her back, immediately feeling more relaxed, just by this simple gesture. But he always seemed to know just what to do to make the girl feel completely at ease, completely comfortable and stress-free; and it was true that with the growing belly had come growing backaches that would unfortunately only be getting worse as the baby and her belly grew larger. The girl was quiet for the next few moments, silently taking spoonfuls of ice cream (which sometimes gave her a bit of a brain freeze) before turning her gaze to the boy laying on the couch. "Now that we know that little NoName is a boy," started the girl with a smile, "What colour do you think we should paint his room?" she asked, assuming of course that she would be taking part in the painting process. It seemed like something harmless enough, and she found no reason why she shouldn't be allowed to at least help paint their child's room.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris seemed to relish in the feel of her relaxing beneath his touch, his smile widening just slightly as he watched her eat her ice cream at a break neck speed. She was just so cute. Cutest little pregnant lady on the planet, he knew that for sure. But it was then that she spoke, asking what colour he thought they (as in plural, as in two or more people) should paint the nursery now that they knew NoName was a boy. "W-We?" he repeated with a weak smile and raised eyebrows, his hand still absentmindedly pressing into her back very gently. But he really didn't want to upset her again, especially right after they'd gotten such good news, and so he quickly answered her question. "I dunno, I was thinking blue...o-or green..." he explained softly with a bit of a shrug, flashing her a small smile. "Whatever colour you want gem, I'm sure will be good..."

Vianna nodded her head as a rather startled Ferris repeated the word 'we' with a bit of surprise, obviously a little hesitant about this topic of his wife helping around the nursery as he had already learned from experience that Vianna was a difficult little person to say no to now that she had these mood swings and raging hormones taking over her at times, making the girl a lot more cranky and easily upset than she normally would have been. But she seemed pleased that the boy made no objections to the idea of them - as in with her included in the picture - painting the room, listening as he went on to suggest blue or green, that whatever colour she chose would be fine. "I'd like green, then," said the girl with a smile. "But a very specific green... I want it to be light, like a pastel, creamy colour," she said with a thoughtful expression on her features as she thought about this. "Let's go buy the paint tomorrow!" she suggested with a grin, quite looking forward to the idea of going out and choosing the perfect colour for their future baby's room. It was a simple enough task, but Vianna couldn't help but be completely excited about it; she liked this, she liked being involved. It made her happy, and it showed in the way her crystal blue eyes sparkled.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris seemed a bit relieved that Vianna didn't question him more on his hesitance at the idea of her inclusion with the nursery, not wanting to get into a debate about it just yet. They'd cross that bridge when they came to it. He listened with a small smile on his pale expression as Vianna decided that she wanted a very specific colour of green, light and pastel. But his smile fell and his hand momentarily stopped massaging her back as she suggested that they go get the paint tomorrow, an idea that completely clashed with the plans of a baby shower the next day; the one Vianna knew nothing about. And as much as he loved that sparkle to her bright blue eyes, he couldn't agree to her request. "Gem..." Ferris started with slightly furrowed brows, flashing her a weak smile. "L-Let's not do it tomorrow, alright?" he suggested softly, his fingers now absentmindedly stroking her back once more. "I don't think I'm up to it," he used as an excuse (though it was slightly true; Ferris was indeed awfully tired), though he knew that they both just actually had plans the next day. "It's been a really long week," Ferris admitted, not even trying to cover up anymore as it was actually true that this week had been long. He didn't have to fake the minor exhaustion in his expression nor the very slight bags beneath his brown eyes.

Vianna's smile faded as did the sparkle in her crystal blue eyes as her husband rejected the idea of going paint-shopping the following day, explaining to the girl that he simply didn't feel up to it, that it had been a really long week for him. The girl was a bit expressionless at first, her crystal blue eyes scanning his expression before sympathy washed over her features. "I understand, Professor," she said softly, giving him a small smile. But despite her mood swings and hormones, the girl knew Ferris hadn't really had much of a break this past week; or these past few months, actually. "I'll go myself," she decided, a bit of that earlier excitement returning to her. "I'd like to go in the morning; but I'll go early so you don't have to stay alone at the bookstore too long," she assured him with a smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor This close. Ferris was this close to getting out of going to the store, of getting them to stay in the house the next day so he could successfully surprise her with a baby shower. She'd agreed, she told him that she understood his request! And then she decided she would go herself! By herself, assuring him that she'd go early in the morning so he didn't have to be at the bookstore alone for too long, something that got his brown eyes to turn rather panicked. He quickly covered this up with a weak smile and a sheepish chuckle, "N-No, Vi!" he quickly said with a shake of his head. He'd already taken tomorrow off from the store, had gotten one of their regular employees to take it over; he didn't have his bookstore to go to! And he couldn't let her leave the house, not when he'd assured his mother that he'd keep her upstairs so a few of their friends could come help set up... Think quick, Ferris, c'mon!
"U-Uh, y'know Vi..." he started with a weak smile, trying his best to come up with something to keep her with him the next morning. "Can't...Can't we just go together another time?" he asked softly with a raise of his eyebrows, taking the bowl from her to set on the table and then gently pulling her down into a laying position at his side. "Maybe I took tomorrow off so we could stay home tomorrow morning," he announced to her ear softly, his arms slipping comfortably around her growing waist, securely fastening around her belly. But this was an honest request as well, because he really had been looking forward to a lazy morning in bed with his wife (as the shower wasn't until later that afternoon), something he hadn't had in months.

Vianna's smile and her growing excitement faded yet again as Ferris rejected her suggestions once more, her brows now beginning to furrow slightly, wondering to herself why her husband seemed so reluctant to let her do what she wanted with this task of painting the nursery room. She couldn't seem to find anything wrong or risky with just going out and getting some paint, but said nothing and instead listened as he asked why they couldn't just go together another time. The girl was just about to answer this, to ask questions of her own regarding the boy's constant rejection of her ideas, when he then took her bowl of ice cream and brought her down to lay beside him on the couch. Vianna's blue eyes scanned his own for a moment there, and before she could speak, he was already sharing with her that perhaps he had taken the following day off so that they could stay home the following morning. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly at this, obviously not having been aware of these plans the boy had made. "What? But..." The girl seemed a little puzzled and surprised at first; however, the more she looked into his brown eyes, and the more she examined his tired expression, her own expression turned into one of sympathy for the boy at her side. "Alright," she said softly, nodding her head and giving him a small smile. "We'll have a Lazy Saturday tomorrow," she decided, her smile turning warm, honestly beginning to feel a little bad for the boy who obviously hadn't had much of a break lately.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I'm off for now Dee! I should be back on later tonight! Ferris's brown eyes watched his wife's blue ones rather anxiously but honestly for a good moment as she looked him over, obviously a bit confused as to why he would've chosen tomorrow to be a lazy day. But whatever was confusing her must've gotten answered as just moments later she agreed to the idea of having a Lazy Saturday the next day and he gave the warmest of smiles to his wife, leaning down towards her and lovingly placing a peck kiss to her lips. This was quickly followed by a kiss with a bit more passion behind it, though he was still incredibly gentle with her, his lips treating her own to a loving sort of gesture for a good couple long moments, relishing in the feel of her so close to himself. He felt as though he hadn't really gotten to kiss her in a long while... And when he broke apart, his dark brown eyes sparkled at the girl, admiring the sight of her expression so close to himself as one of his hands came up from around her waist to gently rest on top of her stomach.
"You hear that little guy?" Ferris spoke to her belly now, brown eyes fixed upon the growing baby bump that seemed to be getting bigger and bigger by the day. "You get to have a lazy day tomorrow too," he murmured with an amused smile, flashing his eyes back to Vianna, obviously rather pleased with communicating with their baby boy. And though he left one of his large hands on her stomach gently, his brown eyes and his focus had permanently returned to the girl at his side, a warm smile on his expression. "So...what do you think we should call our little guy?" Ferris asked with raised eyebrows, realizing now that they truly had the opportunity to name their child; or to start to consider ideas, at least. He had a few in mind, he had to admit... But how could he not have been thinking of names for their future son/daughter? Well, obviously now that they knew they'd be having a boy, all the daughter names were ruled out, but he was wondering what Vianna was thinking of.

ooc: Alright Ruthers, I'll see you then! Byeeeeee!
Vianna smiled and returned the peck kiss Ferris placed on her lips just after she had agreed to the idea of having a Lazy Saturday the following day, and her smile widened as his lips soon returned to her own after that first kiss, returning this new gesture as sweetly and lovingly as he awarded it to her. She, too, couldn't help feeling like she hadn't kissed her husband in a long time, like it had been a while since they'd last had a chance to just lay down beside each other and relax, without arguments or waterworks (both of which were usually initiated by the hormonal Vianna). The girl's own blue eyes were sparkling slightly as the kiss came to an end, watching as her husband's hand then traveled over to her growing belly, her smile widening and sparkling as bright as her blue eyes as she listened to him speak to the baby still forming inside her.
The doctor had actually once mentioned that talking to the baby before it was born was a good idea, as the baby would remember and recognize their voices even after birth, already creating a sense of familiarity with his parents for the child. So even if the couple weren't fully aware of it, their baby was already familiarizing with them, already growing used to the sound of their voices, their laughter, their presence constantly there near him, and this bond would only grow as the child developed further and his sense of hearing was completely there. Vianna turned her gaze away from her round belly and toward the boy beside her instead as he spoke once more, this time addressing her, asking what she thought they should name their child. Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly, not having expected the question. Wow… the time had finally come. They could finally award their baby a name, a name that he would identify with for the rest of his life. "I'm not… sure," muttered the girl a little thoughtfully, her brows furrowing slightly. Truth was, she'd gotten so used to 'NoName' that she'd almost forgotten that wasn't a real name and they still had to give their child a real, proper name. Obviously they couldn't call him 'NoName' for the rest of his life! The girl had a faint idea of some names that she liked, but there was one thing she wanted to know first, "Is his name going to be… English?" she asked. Most of the names she thought of, obviously, were in Italian; and she was sure that if Ferris had any name ideas, they were probably English. The girl didn't really mind if the child's name was from English or Italian origin, but she wanted them both to be on the same page with this.
