| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I'm off for now Deee! See you later! Ferris let out a hearty chuckle, his warm breath falling onto the smooth skin of her neck, as she mentioned her knowledge that they were already married, but hoping that this was still too early for him to be ignoring his wife and not paing attention to her words. "Ignoring?" he repeated playfully, gently beginning to let his kisses get heavier. "I don't know if you've realized it, but it would give me physical pain at this point to ever just ignore you," he informed her teasingly, flashing her a bit of a grin as he continued to coat her warm skin in loving kisses, pulling her closer once more. "And I pay plenty attention," the young man grumbled to her, placing a couple kisses beneath her jaw just because he could. "I just sort of...didn't hear you," he continued in a playful grumble, loving how good she smelled. He let out a hearty chuckle at his own words, "You distracted me, it's hardly my fault..."

ooc: Awwwww Alright then, Ruthers, byeeeeee!
Vianna listened as her husband explained to her that it would give him physical pain to ignore her at this point, and she chuckled softly at the words, both charmed and amused at the same time. She couldn't help but be a little distracted herself, though, as his lips were having that effect on her they always did; that effect that sent the girl off to another world, one of bliss, a world where she wasn't all that aware of her surroundings anymore and all that she could feel right now was the boy's lips on her tanned skin. She continued listening, though, and tried her best to pay full attention as he explained that he did pay attention, that he just hadn't heard her and she had distracted him, so this wasn't really his fault. Vianna chuckled softly at his logic, amused by it, but barely really aware of her own amusement as she was distracted by his kisses. And then, feeling an urge to kiss the boy at that moment, an urge brought on by his own kisses, one of her arms slipped off the boy's neck, leaving her the necessary room for her to lean in toward it and place her lips on his pale skin, well aware that this sometimes freaked out the boy but she didn't care. She wanted to kiss him.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Not sure how long I'm on for... Probably not long, but I should be back later tonight anyway! Ferris was doing perfectly fine, finding himself having a rather enjoyable time placing kisses on Vianna's warm skin when she suddenly slid one of her arms from around his neck, something he thought nothing of as his mind was otherwise occupied. But then, out of nowhere (to him) he suddenly felt a pair of soft, rosy lips starting to coat his pale neck in sweet kisses. At her mere touch, three things happened immediately. His lips left her skin in surprise, he practically jumped out of his own skin at the feel of her kiss, and a huge, involuntary shiver ran through his entire being, visible completely to anyone around. His normally pale face flushed a light pink colour as he realized how skiddish he was when it came to Vianna and her lips anywhere near him, though his thoughts soon slipped away into another realm, one that consisted of no one but Vianna. He felt himself practically melt back into the counter, his cheeks still the lightest shade of pink as a goofy sort of sheepish grin fell onto his features. "G-Gem..." he muttered softly, head looking up just slightly as she let her lips trace up and down his neck. Flustered, he definitely was, and it didn't help in the quest of finding the words to say. "What..." he started with a weak chuckle, "Wh-What're you..." he trailed off once more, mind preoccupied with the way her lips felt on his neck. This was Ferris's one and only major weakness, the only thing that rendered his mind completely and totally numb.

ooc: Ooohh I thought you were leaving for the day! But unfortunately I can't stay up too terribly late tonight! Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow, though! Byeeeeee Ruthie Ruthersssss!
Vianna's lips curved into an amused smile as she felt her husband jump in surprise and shiver under her touch, something the girl could never really stop being amused by, even after all these years of playing the same trick on him. His reactions hadn't changed and neither had her amusement over it. She listened as he began to stutter softly then, meaning to ask what she was doing but never really finishing that thought. The girl couldn't help but allow a couple amused giggles to escape her smiling lips then, far too amused by how easily distracted her husband could become just from that simple gesture. "Is something wrong, Professor?" she asked, pulling back from his neck and meeting his brown-eyed gaze with playful crystal blue eyes that seemed rather endeared at the same time. "I hope my kisses aren't distracting you!" she added with mock concern before chuckling softly and pecking his lips gently. It was then that the girl pulled back her other arm from around the boy's neck and brought herself back down to her feet, slipping from the boy's embrace. "I'm going to finish up this soup. Why don't you serve Fluffy, Turnip, Amber, Sporco, Dolce, and Pigro their food? They haven't eaten since we left them this morning," suggested Vianna, honestly feeling a little bad for the way they'd been neglecting their pets these past couple days; and she couldn't help but wonder how they were going to take care of their many pets and NoName once the baby joined them in the house. It would certainly be hectic...

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Oh, no way! No, if I'm on in the day time and say I'm off, it's usually just until later that night! If I'm gonna be off for the rest of that day, I'll be sure to tell you Dee! But awwww that sucks that you have to get off earlier tonight! Oh well, I'll be on tomorrow in the day/night anyway! Byyeee for now, if you're getting off right now! Ferris shook his head, his brown eyes half closed in dreamland, as Vianna asked if something was wrong, hoping aloud that her kisses weren't distracting him. But before much longer, her lips had removed themselves from his pale neck and she was slipping out of his arms, her feet returning to the floor. This seemed to successfully snap the young man out of his daze, his expression stirring as his brows furrowed and his longing brown eyes turned to the girl before him as she suggested he feed their pets while she finished the soup. Despite the fact that her kisses to his neck made him lose all control of himself, Ferris liked it more than he would ever admit. And the sudden stop of such affection and kisses from his beloved wife made him immediately wish for their return. "Oh, alright," he murmured with a sheepish smile as the initial disappointment from her lips retreating washed away from him and he covered up that embarrassing look of blatant longing from his brown eyes. He released her waist with a bit of sheepishness evident in his pale features, heading over to the corner of the kitchen where all of the bowls were lined up and beginning to fill them with their designated foods. But Ferris could hardly be blamed for his love of her lips on him, anywhere. He loved it, he loved the way his wife kissed him, and it was an addiction to which he'd never confronted before he'd met her.

ooc: Ooohh okay! Well yay I'm glad my assumptions were wrong!
But yeah I know, it's lame... .................................................. ..... one more post and then I'm off!
Vianna gave the boy before her a slightly sympathetic smile, though for the most part she seemed rather amused as she watched him go with a sheepish smile on his face, something which got the girl to chuckle softly. She watched him for a moment before returning her attention to the soup that she'd left warming at very low heat before raising the temperature again and then just finishing the rest of the recipe as best she could. They no longer had Costa's card with them, after all, so the girl wasn't sure if there was a special ingredient that was supposed to go in besides what had already been placed into the soup. So now all that was left was to wait, and with the help of magic that process was quickened, so the soup was ready only a few minutes later; and once it was, the girl proceeded to fill two bowls with it, then placing a spoon in each - one for herself and one for Ferris. "All ready, Professor!" the girl announced, turning to her husband with a grin on her face and one of the bowls in her hands. She handed it to him, amused playfulness in her blue eyes as she knew she wasn't necessarily giving the boy a very exciting meal.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Bahahahaha!!!! Alright, byyyeee for now Deee! Ferris had just finished up the last of the bunnies' bowls as Vianna announced that dinner was ready, standing up from his bending position and turning around only to see his wife practically beaming with a bowl of soup in her hands. He grinned at the sight, letting out a hearty chuckle as he took in the sight of how cute she was, trying to make it seem as though soup was more exciting than it was. It was true, the young man usually went for something a little more substantial for his meals, but soup sounded perfectly fine for him that night, especially since Vianna had to eat it, and she was being a little too cute for him to handle. "Thanks gem," he replied, kissing her cheek lovingly and taking the bowl from her and taking a seat at the table, amusement sparkling behind his brown eyes.

Vianna smiled warmly as the tall boy before her awarded her cheek a loving peck kiss before he moved over to the table and got started on his soup. And even though Vianna didn't necessarily share all of the same tastes in food as her husband, she wasn't all that excited about having this soup either. She'd never really been much of a soup person; she had soup once every blue moon, but... this wasn't even a normal, yummy soup! This was a bland, boring, almost taste-less soup; and Vianna couldn't really stop her features from twisting slightly in disapproval at the taste that met her tongue when she took the first sip. It didn't necessarily taste bad, but... that was the problem; it didn't really taste like much. Except perhaps vegetables; and though Vianna wasn't an enemy of vegetables, she usually preferred more traditionally Italian meals, with their pasta and tomato sauce, and this soup was as far off as you could go from that side of the spectrum. "Professor..." started Vianna suddenly after a few long moments of eating in silence. "Costa gave you more recipes, right?" she asked a little hopefully.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris took his first and last spoonful of soup with a grimace, immediately setting down the bowl on the table with a worried sort of look on his pale expression. Oh, that was unpleasant. He turned to Vianna, hoping to see some sort of miraculous affection for this horrible soup on his wife's face, that maybe, by some insane twist of reality, she might like this soup that he so didn't. But there wasn't exactly a happy expression on her beautifully tanned face, and he merely frowned softly at the sight, disappointment filtering through his expression as he realized that she too didn't enjoy the tastelessness of this soup. As she asked if Costa gave him more recipes, the young man gave a sheepish chuckle and a nod, standing up to take both of their bowls in his hands and pour them down the drain. He then pulled out the other few recipes from his pockets, not many of them sounding all that appetizing. Ferris grimaced slightly at the sight of them and turned to his wife with an apologetic look to his brown eyes, "I'm sorry gem, I didn't realize these foods would be so...bland," he admitted with a weak chuckle, setting the recipes down on the counter and slipping an arm around her slender waist. "Costa mentioned that things were different for each pregnant woman...y'know, what foods they take to..." he started, watching her with a bit of hesitance as he suggested this. "So...maybe we should just try something that you actually want to eat... It might turn out that your stomach actually doesn't mind it...?" Ferris watched her for a moment, taking in her expression before giving a shrug, "What're you in the mood for? Anything, and we'll try it."

Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as she watched her husband take their bowls from the table and pour the tasteless soup down the drain. The girl chuckled softly at this, though she couldn't help feeling a little guilty that they'd just wasted food away like that. But she knew that even if she had attempted to eat the rest of the soup, the tastelessness of it would've kept her from finishing. She watched as Ferris then pulled out a few other notecards, examining them with a grimace on his face. "What's wrong?" she asked, getting up to her feet then and setting the plates to wash themselves with a wave of her wand. It was then that the boy spoke, apologizing and mentioning that he hadn't realized these foods would be so bland. Vianna gave a soft chuckle at this, shaking her head slightly at the boy as he approached her. "It's alright, Professor, it's not your fault," she said, giving him a sympathetic smile before he went on to share that Costa had explained to him that things were different for each pregnant woman, and so perhaps they should just try something that the girl wanted to eat, that perhaps her stomach wouldn't mind it. "Well…" muttered Vianna thoughtfully, her gaze absentmindedly falling to their pets who were merrily enjoying their own meals. As Ferris then asked what she was in the mood for, Vianna's brows furrowed slightly. What was she in the mood for? She didn't have to think on it too long, though, before the words just left her lips, "I want ice cream." Her smile widened then, almost childlike as it sat decorating her lightly tanned face.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched his wife with a rather serious expression, evaluating her as one might evaluate a test subject that was reacting in an extremely strange way. But he'd expected this whole soup thing to be the answer, that maybe once they got on a diet of blander foods, she'd be feeling better and it would all work out! Obviously, it wouldn't be that easy... But as she spoke, admitting she wanted ice cream rather suddenly, his brown eyes scanned her beautiful face with amusement evident behind his gaze. "You want ice cream for dinner?" he repeated with slightly raised eyebrows. He let out a soft chuckle at the sight of her childlike smile, amazed with how she could amuse him with the smallest of words and the most beautiful of smiles. "Well then I better get my gem some ice cream," the young man murmured with a warm smile, gently pressing a sweet peck to her lips before taking a step back. "I'll be back with your ice cream," he promised, kissing her forehead from his taller height easily as he took out his wand and apparated away.

Beaming, Vianna nodded her head as Ferris asked for confirmation of this odd request she'd just made. She wasn't sure why, but she was just in the mood for something sweet; and she hadn't had ice cream in a while, so it just happened to be the first thing to pop into her mind at that moment. The girl chuckled softly as Ferris then mentioned that he'd better go get his gem some ice cream, though she seemed just the slightest bit disappointed that he'd have to leave her, even if only for a few minutes. She couldn't help it, though; they were Fervi. That was just the way they worked. She nodded her head once more with a warm smile as he then announced he would be back soon with her ice cream, and watched as the boy then disapparated from sight, then heading over to their many little pets as they finished their own foods and she had their bowls washed off with her wand.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris returned in about seven minutes, finding himself rather unhappy with the problem of leaving her side as well. It was just something that he would never be comfortable with, being away from her, especially when he didn't have to be. And so he returned as fast as he could, returning to their home within mere minutes and apparating into sight right behind his wife. "For my gem," he murmured to her ear with a warm smile, his lanky arms slipping around her slender waist from behind after he set down the two gallons of ice cream onto the counter; one chocolate, one vanilla. He couldn't help but immediately feel better with being back at her side, feeling her waist within his grip, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Don't call me a mush..." he warned with a weak smile, "But I missed you," he grumbled as he kissed her cheek lovingly.

Vianna gave a bit of a jump as Ferris suddenly apparated right behind her, the feel of his arms slipping around her waist startling the girl who obviously hadn't been expecting it at all. However, as soon as that surprise washed away, it was replaced by comfort and joy; joy that her husband had returned. "Mush? I would never call my Professor a mush!" said Vianna with an amused chuckle before teasingly adding, "even if he is a mush!" She giggled lightly then, turning her head to the boy who was now resting his chin on her shoulder, perfectly set there for her to lean in and place a kiss on his cheek, which was exactly what she did at that moment, the ice cream washing away from her mind as she moved on to his lips then.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna playfully assured him that she would never call her Professor a mush, then adding that she wouldn't do this even if he was, indeed, a mush. He scowled playfully at this, brown eyes narrowing at her for a moment until she leaned over and kissed his cheek, a gesture that got his dimples to come into view on his pale expression, a warm smile filling up his features. And it was then that she moved onto his lips, creating a kiss that he lovingly returned for a couple long moments, breaking apart for just a second to flash her a grin and then letting his lips find her own once more, just for a sweet peck. "I love you gem," he murmured to her before kissing her nose and her temple and then releasing her waist to open her ice cream for her.

| Serial Prankster • Troloholic • Like a BAWS • Brae the Lionheart & Lion Cub • AnDee & Melsse Three Months Later...
Things had definitely changed quite a bit in the last three months, but the most obvious change at this point was probably Vianna's belly. The girl wasn't necessarily huge or anything yet, but she was large enough for the pregnancy to be a little more obvious. A complete wardrobe change wasn't necessary just yet, but the girl was beginning to find she didn't really fit into some of her clothes anymore. She'd gained a few pounds as well, but remained slender except for, obviously, her growing belly which was only making her look more and more disproportioned with each passing week.
And she loved it.
She loved her new belly and she loved how she could even feel little NoName kick sometimes. Just very gently, though, and it wasn't an event that occurred very often. She was still, after all, rather early into the pregnancy. The gender of the baby was still a mystery; she and Ferris had visited the doctor about a week ago and he'd promised to have their results arrive some time soon now, but no specific date had been assigned. But the couple were growing more and more anxious with each passing day; they wanted to know if they should be preparing for a little boy or a little girl, and either result pleased them both the same, ready to love this child endlessly regardless of its gender.
As the doctor had shared with Fervi during their very first visit to him, some early pregnancy symptoms - like morning sickness and nausea - were gone, but new problems had taken their place. The girl was beginning to feel contractions now; they didn't feel too horrible yet, but they weren't necessarily the most comfortable feeling in the world, and she still felt a little dizzy at times. However, the tiredness was gone. The girl was a lot more active now, almost entirely back to her normal energetic self.
The worst new symptom, though, was the girl's mood swings. The doctor had explained to them on their last visit that this was completely normal, that almost all pregnant women went through this, but unfortunately that wasn't really a very comforting information for Ferris who now found himself with a wife who snapped easily at times, burst into tears for the tiniest of things, and felt unusually cheery at very random times. And there was also, of course, the strange food cravings. The doctor had assured them this should slowly wear off as the pregnancy continued, but for the time being Vianna would be requesting strange meals at random times. And she really was. She was eating for two now, and the things she craved were usually a little odd - pineapples with onions, banana splits in the middle of the night, or chicken parmigiana for breakfast.
It hadn't just been the members of the Montgomery residence who had changed, though. The house itself had changed as well. The time had come for the couple to decide what they were going to do about this new addition to their family; if they would be staying in their current home or move somewhere bigger. But Fervi had grown far too attached to their white little house sitting near the shore, surrounded by a seemingly endless horizon of grass and trees for their little pets to roam freely around and for the couple to enjoy whenever they felt like going out for a bit and just sitting under a tree, like old times. So the couple decided to stay and add another room to the house, one just across from their own, so it was always easy and quick to get to. This would be the baby's nursery, but the couple found themselves stuck when it came to painting the walls, as they still had no gender to go by. So far, Ferris had done most of the work in the room, setting up the furniture and all, as he assumed Vianna to be frail due to her state; so this sometimes led to arguments between the couple; Vianna wanted to help, to be involved, but the boy refused to let her lift a single piece of wood, despite the fact that she was a lot more energetic now than she had been during her first weeks and the doctor had assured them she'd be fine as long as she wasn't straining herself and doing too much.
And so, it was precisely about this that Vianna hoped to talk about with her husband after dinner that Friday night. After sending the plates to wash themselves in the sink, the girl walked out to the living room which was nicely lit by the fire burning in the fireplace. It had been a rather gloomy, very typically-English day and so it made the home feel even cozier than usual, it set a mood where you just wanted to curl up near the fire wrapped up in your favourite blankie. "Professor," started the girl as she walked into the scene, her belly unusually large under the t-shirt she had changed into after coming home from work. "I need to talk to you."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: CHINA! Ferris had been particularly tired as of late. What, with his pregnant wife's mood swings and the responsibilities he still had from both of his jobs, the young man had never been stretched so thin. During the day time he was Professor Montgomery, grading papers and substituting for classes, and when he got home he was running out to grab Vianna the most random of foods, dealing with random fits of crying, and then trying to get sleep somewhere in between. But he couldn't say that he didn't love this. True, it was horribly time consuming and he rarely got more than six hours of sleep on a weekday, but this was his Vianna, having their baby. Just the sight of her growing belly got the young man to grin like a bit of an idiot, and the fact that she'd gotten out of her tired stage was a bit of a relief, that had gotten her back to the energetic Vianna that he loved so much.
That night (after a particularly long day at work) he had finished his dinner rather early and taken up camp in the corner of their large couch just moments later, his glasses on his pale face as they always were in low lighting conditions. You see, he had a book in hand, and though he could've easily turned on the overhead, he wanted to keep the sole lighting from their warm, cozy fireplace, and therefore he needed his reading glasses to fully see the small text on the page properly. He'd found that he'd had very little time for his reading recently, and after being assured by Vianna that she didn't need him to help clean up, he'd taken up refuge in their living room, clad in his plaid pajama pants and old Nordoff's t-shirt. He was just flipping onto page 23 of his newest book when Vianna entered the room, her growing belly preceding her as she said his favourite nickname and informed him that she needed to talk to him.
Ferris's eyebrows rose just slightly at this statement, and just moments later he sat up a bit more, gesturing for her to take the seat on the other end of the couch across from him. "What's up gem?" he asked, a warm smile on his pale face at the mere sight of her and her stomach. He was right. She was a cute pregnant lady. He took off his reading glasses, further exposing his pale expression which was coated on the bottom half with a light layer of dark brown scruff. He hadn't had much time to shave recently, their mornings had gotten hectic when Vianna realized she suddenly needed full dinner meals for breakfast. And though he looked a little tired, he still looked happy to see her, a warm smile still on his features.

ooc: And I did the big font too!! It was my first time ever! -feels all proud and stuff-
Vianna gave the boy sitting on the couch a small smile (luckily for him, she happened to be in a good mood at that moment; though any tiny little detail could trigger a waterfall of tears on the girl who was clearly not entirely herself lately), walking over to the couch where he sat as he gestured for her to join him. Vianna sat down at the other end of the couch a little slower than normal, but she couldn't necessarily be plopping down abruptly when her belly was growing so large and heavy. "I wanted to talk about... the room," she started softly, her hands a little fidgety as they rested on her lap, right before her perfectly round new belly. "The baby's room, I mean," she explained. And as she mentioned the baby, her right hand left her lap and traveled over to her belly on instinct, as if expecting little NoName to show some sort of sign that let them know he or she knew they were talking about him or her.
But there was no sign, NoName seemed to be feeling pretty calm at the moment as its mother's hand rested calmly on her belly, only a number of inches away from the being residing inside her. "I really want to help, Professor," said Vianna after a moment's silence, her forehead beginning to crease slightly. "I feel like you're already doing so much, you seem so tired lately, and... I know I haven't been very helpful... I want to help at least with the room," said the girl. But despite her mood swings and all of these changes that came with the pregnancy, Vianna was still the same girl she was before, and she knew when her husband needed a break, when he was being overworked. However, the second the mood swings kicked in, all logic would fly out the window.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: You're proud?! I'm more proud than anyone ever has been! *pets Dee* Ferris watched with amused brown eyes as the girl before him took a seat to where he'd gestured to, explaining that she wanted to talk about the baby's room as her arms went around her stomach, her hands clasping before her growing belly. His eyebrows rose just slightly at the topic she brought up, confused as to what the problem could've been with it, but obviously rather endeared at the sight of her with her hand over her stomach, as though expecting the baby to notice his or her parents were talking about them. She was so cute. He still thought that she was adorable, and this admiration only seemed to grow as her stomach did. "What about the room?" he asked, his expression more adoring than anything as he glanced over his petite little wife, now accompanied by her stomach.
It was then that she continued, informing him that she wanted to help out with the room, mentioning how he was already working so hard and getting tired, that she hadn't been all that helpful. "Gem..." he murmured, brows furrowing slightly at the realization of his wife feeling this way. "C'mere," he continued, flashing her a weak smile as he stretched out his legs a bit more and then patted his lap, wanting her closer so he could wrap his lanky arms around her waist. "You're very helpful," he reminded her with a raise of his eyebrows as he took her hand as though to help her over to his lap. "Just by holding onto our baby, you're being helpful," Ferris reminded her with a soft smile, tugging on her hand as another silence request for her to come closer and sit with him.

ooc: Aaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwww shuckssssss! -purrs as she's petted- Yay!
Vianna watched as Ferris's brows furrowed slightly at her before the boy then patted his lap in a gesture that obviously meant he wanted her there, and the girl gave a small, weak smile, still not sure what exactly her husband was thinking or feeling at the moment, or if she was going to get her way with this at all. But she did as he silently requested, and with the help of his hand (moving around was a little more difficult when she had such a belly weighing her down and taking up space) the girl proceeded to rest by the boy's lap, listening quietly and attentively as he assured her that she was very helpful, that just by holding onto their baby, she was being helpful. Vianna gave him another small smile then, but she still didn't seem all that pleased with his words. She wanted to do more than just have a baby inside her! Besides, it's not like she really had much of a choice in that one.
"It's not enough, Professor," said Vianna, shaking her head slightly. "Can't I just... I don't know, at least help pass you tools as you work?" she suggested, though of course she was not to be trusted on this. The second she got a 'yes' from Ferris she would break that promise and try to build things herself; it was just the way Vianna worked, she couldn't really just sit in the sidelines and watch or be a minor help. She wanted to be involved, heavily involved. Her mother had suggested to her that she try knitting stuff for the baby, but... Vianna? Knitting? It was a cute idea, but the girl would rather build her future child a broom than knit him or her socks.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: "purrs as she's petted" BAHHAH! As soon as Vianna arrived on his lap, Ferris let his lanky arms wrap around her extending waistline, keeping her close to himself naturally as he let his brown eyes travel up to her expression which was obviously still not appeased with the current situation in the baby's room. He listened attentively as she explained that simply holding onto the baby wasn't enough, suggesting that maybe she could just pass him tools as he worked on the nursery. He gave a faint smile at this, evaluating her expression with amusement behind his brown eyes though this was slightly clouded with doubt. "I dunno gem," he murmured to her softly, apologetically as he tucked a strand of her long brown hair behind her ear. "I know you," he reminded her with slightly raised eyebrows. "I know that once I let you anywhere near that room you're gonna want to do more and more," he continued to her ear, voice still soft as he searched her blue eyes with her brown ones. But he also knew her well enough to know that if he didn't let her do something, she'd never be satisfied. "Gem..." Ferris started softly, one arm still wrapped around her from around her back and the other letting his hand rest gently on her showing belly. He gently stroked her growing stomach, his thumb absentmindedly going back and forth over the top of her skin as he watched her thoughtfully. "I just don't want you to get hurt," he reminded her with a weak, guilty smile, knowing how much she didn't want to just stand back and watch. He gently kissed her cheek, then her jawline lovingly, though he stopped moments later, keeping it a sweet gesture to amplify his words, to let her know that he was just standing his ground because he didn't want her or the baby getting hurt.

ooc: !
Vianna's crystal blue eyes fell to her growing belly as the boy she was resting on proceeded to rest one of his own hands there, relishing in the feel of his warm skin on her belly, right on top of her t-shirt. But this wasn't enough to keep the girl distracted from his words which weren't making the girl any happier. She listened quietly as he explained to her that he knew her, that he knew that once he let her anywhere near that room, she was going to want to do more. This was true, but the girl wasn't about to admit it. Had it been any other day, had they been under different circumstances and she wasn't in this situation that completely messed around with her hormones, the girl would have laughed with amusement at her husband figuring her out so easily. However, this pregnant version of Vianna didn't act the same way as she normally would have, so instead of being amused, the girl grew increasingly upset. "I'm not going to get hurt!" said the girl stubbornly as he explained to her that he didn't want her to get hurt, ignoring the kisses he was leaving on her tanned skin.
She grew quiet then, her brows furrowed as her gaze remained on her belly for the next few moments. It was then that she looked up, turning her gaze upon the boy's brown eyes, brows still furrowed. "You know what I think it is?" she asked. "I think you just don't want me around anymore," she decided. "I'm short and I'm round and you just... you... you're using the room as an excuse to be away from me!" she explained her loony theory further, her words upset and even a little angry at first, though by the time she finished speaking her crystal blue eyes were sparkling brightly. And it wasn't that joyful happy, excited sparkle that usually graced her gaze. It was the sparkle of tears washing over the blue hue of her eyes, her cheeks beginning to turn a light shade of pink as her expression grew into one of a child who'd just been abandoned by her parents or something of the sort.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris ignored Vianna's stubborn defiance of the idea that she should ever get hurt, something that had absolutely no truth to him as he saw his pregnant wife as a glass treasure, more fragile than anything else. But he was distracted from his formulation of a counterargument as she spoke once more, asking if he knew what she thought this whole situation was, and his eyebrows rose slightly. Any and all amusement drained from his expression as she decided that this meant he just didn't want her around anymore, that she was short and round and he was using the construction of the nursery as an excuse to get away from her. His brown eyes widened at this accusation, immediate guilt sifting into his features even though he hadn't done anything to be guilty of. "O-Oh," he started, obviously rather startled by this, sitting up slightly with a look of worry on his pale features as he pulled his wife closer, immediately starting to catch sight of those tears welling up in his wife's blue eyes. "A-Aw, no gem, of course that's not it!" Ferris assured her, the hand coming up from her belly and instead framing her jaw, stroking her smooth skin with his thumb, sadness in his brown eyes. "I don't want to get away from you!" he denied with a shake of his head, hating the way she was starting to build up tears in her eyes. He let his hand go from her jaw to her long brown hair, stroking it back gently with his warm fingers as he pulled her into his chest. "I just...I don't want you to put too much strain on yourself and the baby right now..."

ooc: You're making it very difficult for me to play Vi being evil!! Ughhh it's giving me a guilty conscience.
Vianna watched as a sort of guilt took over her husband's expression, and had it been any other day under any other circumstance, she would have felt horrible and guilty in turn. However, she didn't seem to feel that way this time, still feeling convinced that her husband simply didn't want her around, that she was no longer attractive to him now that she had a large belly weighing her down. And it was rather ironic, actually, how a girl as confident as Vianna could feel this way, not only confident in herself but in her relationship with her husband as well. But this wasn't Vianna speaking or acting, it was the hormones, the pregnancy, the mood swings she couldn't control. And it took over her, making the girl think in ways she'd never thought before. "Painting a wall won't kill the baby or I, Ferris!" she said as the boy explained that he just didn't want them to get hurt, her brows furrowed disapprovingly and the tears starting to fade as her mood switched yet again, from sad to slightly angry. She just wanted to get her way at this point. "Would you just-- can you-- can you just get me some ice cream, please?!" she asked, her tones a little irritated as this sudden craving came out of nowhere, and now she was using it as punishment on the boy; as if to say 'you won't let me help in the room, then I'm going to make you get me food whenever I ask!'

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Bahahaha!!! Nooo! Don't feel guilty it's too fun! Know that I'm amused by it, I just have to play Ferris's reactions! Ferris seemed a little skiddish as Vianna replied sharply, explaining that painting a wall wouldn't kill the baby or her, a statement that he knew very well. He gave his wife a look that said very clearly 'I know that, gem', but quickly let it slip from his expression as her teary expression changed into one of more anger than anything. His eyebrows raised as he let his hand fall from her long brown hair, watching her like a deer might look into the eyes of the headlights about to run it over as she stuttered out the demand to get her ice cream. Ferris watched her expression, eyes slightly raised, as though evaluating if she was really, actually asking for ice cream in the middle of snapping at him. Upon realizing that she was, indeed, demanding food, his brown eyes widened slightly and he scrambled to get up from his seat on the couch, knowing best that when this happened, he needed to get her what she wanted. She slid from his lap gently, landing on the couch cushions as he grabbed his wand, "I'm getting you ice cream. Don't even think of going near that room, gem," he warned with slightly narrowed eyes, though he seemed more freaked out over his wife's mood swings than anything else. He knew this was the hormones talking, but...man was she scary when she got angry! Before she could reply, he'd apparated out of sight, immediately regretting that he didn't replenish their ice cream supply the day before at the grocery store (a supply that they needed to keep handy over these past few months; he'd figured they'd be fine for another day).
OOC: I'm gonna need an hour or less Dee! I'm not sure if you'll be on when I get back... It's cool if you have to get off, cuz I'll probably have to leave shortly after I check back in an hour! *blush* BUT! I'll be back tomorrow for more hormonal Vianna!
