Default That Summer - V.5!

This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.

This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna was simply far too amused by this, by the thought of her husband being pregnant just like her (except obviously without the belly), and her giggles only seemed to grow as the boy awarded her kisses with complaints which only amused her further. But she soon grew quiet, returning her full attention to the doctor who still had other things to share with them, and she herself still had a couple more questions. "Well… there is one other thing you should be preparing for - and this goes to both of you - and that is, giving birth," said the doctor, something which got Vianna's eyebrows to raise. Oh, right. This baby wasn't just going to be living inside her for nine months and then just randomly apparate into her arms, she had to… give birth?! Oh, Merlin… Well that certainly didn't sound fun, or like something to look forward to at all! It sounded… painful and odd and just plain strange. "But we'll get into that when you're further into the pregnancy, it's still a little early to discuss that," said the doctor, giving an amused chuckle at the other two's expressions.

"What about work?" asked Vianna curiously. "Can I still go? And when will I start showing?" she asked, her blue eyes falling for a brief second, as if making sure she hadn't magically grown a belly in the last five minutes, before returning her gaze to the doctor sitting behind the desk.

"Well, Mrs. Montgomery, whether you continue working through your pregnancy or not is entirely up to you," said the doctor. "You're very early on right now, and as long as your job isn't very stressful or labor-intensive, then there's really no reason why you should stop working. If your pregnancy continues uninterrupted and with no complications, then you may continue working all nine months if you wish to do so," said the man. "Obviously, it won't be the same as working if you weren't pregnant at all, but it's definitely not impossible."

Vianna nodded her head slightly at this, actually quite relieved to hear this. But she couldn't just stop working! It was precisely now more than ever than Fervi were going to need every cent ( or knut ) they made. And besides, Vianna wasn't one to just lounge around all day. She liked to feel productive, to move and get things done.

"Now, as far as your belly growth goes… you should start seeing changes in another month or two; at around fourteen weeks in, you should be able to see something. But you don't really get a very large belly until around thirty-two weeks into your pregnancy," explained the doctor, something to which Vianna nodded her head slightly again. Was it weird that she was actually kind of looking forward to seeing a belly on herself? But… that would really make her feel like there is a child there, it would just… create a better connection. For now, there wasn't really anything she could feel inside her stomach, and so it was still a little difficult for the girl to believe that she was truly, really, actually pregnant. Despite all the symptoms and this visit, it all still felt so surreal. More real than before, but still a bit surreal.

Ferris was still watching Vianna just slightly with amused brown eyes as the doctor spoke once more and he turned his full attention back to him, listening as he then informed them that they definitely needed to be prepared for the actual birth. His eyebrows rose at this statement, not having expected it. Obviously, birth would be needed at some point, but they'd hardly registered that there was a baby in there let alone that it would need to come out eventually. The boy's blank expression seemed pretty relieved as the older man then assured them that they'd be able to discuss this later as it was a bit early on.

Ferris's dark brown eyes watched with interest as Vianna asked questions about her work, something the young man was also curious about, knowing that he had no idea what to expect with that. He seemed slightly comforted that Vianna could still manage her job if she wanted to, for the same reasons that she was; they needed the money, and he knew that Vianna would never be satisfied at home all day. It was like keeping an over-energetic squirrel in a cage. It just didn't work out. And so he gave a faint smile at these statements, knowing that his wife was probably pretty relieved to hear them.

It was then that the topic of conversation moved onto the size of Vianna's belly, something that brought a large, amused smile to Ferris's expression. Oh yeah, his wife would be all round and cute. He was endlessly amused by the mere idea and it was clear in his expression that he was only beginning to get a mental image of his gem's ever-growing belly, how perfectly round it would be, large in comparison to her petite little frame. "You're gonna be so cute..." he informed the girl at his side with an amused, lopsided grin after listening to the doctor explain just when she'd be showing and when exactly she'd be getting big. He brought up their hands to kiss the back of hers playfully before turning back to the doctor with an amused smile, knowing that must've sounded a little strange. But Ferris was positive his wife would be the cutest thing on the planet with a round stomach, walking around all...pregnant and cute.

"Is there anything that can help with the nausea?" the young man then asked after a couple moments of searching his mind for anything else that might need to be asked. "It's just been really bad. Like...she can't walk down the stairs without getting dizzy," Ferris explained softly, his expression a bit more serious and attentive as he brought this to the forefront of the conversation. "Is there something I can make her? Any sort of remedy or something that could help?"

ooh: "Oh yeah, his wife would be all round and cute." Idk why but that made me laugh. xD

Vianna exchanged smiles with the boy beside her as they both seemed to share the same type of relief over the doctor's announcement over her ability to continue attending work. That was definitely one of the best news they'd received during this visit, as everything else had kind of been… well, it certainly wasn't making pregnancy look very fun. The girl was soon distracted from these thoughts, though, as the boy spoke, commenting that she was going to be 'so cute', a comment which got her smile to widen and a couple giggles to escape her smiling lips. She was glad, though; glad that her husband was actually looking forward to seeing her looking all round and out of proportion, rather than terrified by it. And this, in turn, only made her look forward to that belly even more. But it'd be so cute, it would be around that time that the baby would be developed enough to kick around and make its presence known, and they'd also get to find out its gender!

The doctor was simply chuckling softly to himself as Ferris and Vianna exchanged looks, both obviously as excited about this pregnancy as they were anxious about it. He listened as Ferris then asked if there was anything that could help with the nausea, and the older man's eyebrows rose then, nodding his head. "Oh! Yes, yes, of course!" said the man, getting up to his feet then and opening one of the cabinets behind his desk. He pulled out a tiny little glass bottle with a very dark green liquid inside. "Horklump juice," announced the man. On instinct, Vianna's usually pretty expression twisted into one of disgust. The doctor chuckled softly at this. "You don't have to drink the whole thing; this is usually just an ingredient for potions, it's not meant to be had alone. I suggest just placing one or two drops into your beverage of choice - nothing alcoholic during your pregnancy, please! - and it should scare the nausea away for a few days before it returns and you might have to take a couple more drops again," explained the doctor, handing the couple the tiny bottle with its disgustingly green liquid. "As for the headaches, backaches, and all other pains, any pain-relieving potion would work just fine, you don't need a prescription for that."

Vianna took the tiny glass bottle into her hand and nodded her head slightly, understandingly, falling into a silence then. She wasn't sure if she had anything else she wanted to ask - actually, no, she was sure she had a lot more she wanted to ask, she just couldn't think of it right now. They'd learned so much just on this visit alone, that this new information was still a bit disorganized in her mind and it was overwhelming her a little. So much new information, so many new things they needed to learn… it was all just so sudden, and it felt like a little too much at once. "When should we come again?" the girl asked softly after a long silence.

"Unless you feel something unusual is going on, or you have any more questions or concerns, I suggest a visit at least once or twice a month during this first trimester. After that, I'm afraid you might have to see me a little more often," said the man, giving the couple a warm, friendly smile.

OOC: You gotta love Ferris's train of thought...

Ferris watched with interested and attentive brown eyes as the doctor brought out Horklump Juice for Vianna's nausea, explaining that a couple drops in any non-alchoholic drink would scare away the nausea for a few days until they had to repeat the process. The young man gave a brief nod at this, turning to Vianna with a reassuring smile before listening as the doctor explained that for the pain she might experience, any pain potion would work just fine. "Alright, thank you," he replied with a brief nod and a polite smile, remaining quiet as the much older man answered Vianna's question as to how often they needed to visit the doctor's. Yes, once or twice a month sounded good for a while, they could do that. And by the time that they needed to come more often, he was sure that they'd want to at that point, just to gather more guidance and information. "Well, thank you very much," Ferris said once more, realizing that this appointment was coming to a close and he gave a friendly smile as he awkwardly got up from his seat to shake the older man's hand. "We'll see you in a couple weeks to check up on things," he promised with a brief nod as he helped Vianna up out of her seat.

To say he was nervous and anxious would've been an understatement. All of this information was taking a long time to fully absorb into his mind, currently bouncing around and mixing with his previous worries and reservations about this new experience. He knew for sure that he'd have a lot more responsibility for his wife over the next few months, that was definite. Of course, he'd always looked after his wife, but now it was becoming clear that he'd need to be there 24/7, no matter what, on call whenever she needed him. Because he wanted to be there for her; wanted to know that he was there for both her and the baby whenever they needed him. Afterall, he wasn't the one that had to push out a baby soon enough down the road. And though it was sure that he'd gotten the good end of the deal, he currently couldn't realize how stressful the job of being there for her could very well become. But she'd need a lot from him, there would be a lot for him to do added onto his work and bookstore, and though he knew all of this at that moment, he still was aware that he wouldn't truly be able to comprehend the full responsibility until it happened. "Let's go gem," he murmured to her with a warm smile as she got to her feet, his hand slipping back into hers and intwining their fingers.

ooc:

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris announced they should get going then, getting up to her feet with his help and flashing the doctor one last friendly smile, giving a 'thank you' and 'we'll see you soon' before heading out of the office with Ferris, her small hand wrapped tightly around his own.
Wow.
There was so much that had just happened, so much they had just learned, so much they needed to keep in mind from now on, so much that was… changing. Things were different now. And they were only going to be getting much more different and strange and unexpected from this point on. It was so overwhelming to look at it this way, even intimidating in a way. Which is why Vianna opted best not to think about the future too much, but rather just focus on the present, focus on the things they needed to know for now and just practice what they had to do now. The future would eventually come, and they'd do whatever came with it when the time came, but for now… it was probably best they only focused on the present, on what was going on at this moment and what they needed to do right now.

The girl walked slowly down the wide sidewalk, at her husband's side. The streets were more crowded now that it was a little later, but the girl seemed not to notice. Her mind was still on everything they'd just learned, on the realization that she wasn't the same girl she'd been just a couple weeks ago; she was pregnant now, and she was going to be a mum. Wow. However, this thought of parenthood also reminded Vianna… "Professor…" she started softly after a long few moments of silence in which they both reviewed all of which they had just learned. "Would you like to get lunch before we… visit my parents?" asked the girl quietly, the slightest bit hesitantly. But, for some reason, even though she was still a little nervous about this, talking with the doctor and understanding better what was going on with her body and what was going to be happening to her made it a little easier for the girl to talk about this, to share this news. So she wasn't as terrified as she'd first been the day before, when everything was still so horrifyingly new, but she was still a little bit nervous, a little uncertain of how her family would react to all this.

OOC: I'm off for now Deeeee Deruperssss! I'll be on as much as I can tomorrow night, but you know the plan! Just a few more days of this whacky schedule and I'm back! Bye for now! I'll reply to the VM tomorrow tooo!

Ferris walked out of the office (after making an appointment for two weeks from then) at Vianna's side, his larger hand keeping hers warm, eveloped nearly completely by his gentle grip. But he didn't say a word, his mind very much so clouded over by the things that they'd just learned, the slow realization that this was really happening. This wasn't just a 'Suprise! Yay, pregnancy!' thing, this was...having a baby. A baby of their own that they'd be raising for the next eighteen or more years, one that would be completely and totally dependent on them. Wherever they went, whatever the time, they wouldn't just be the two of them, it would be the three. And even if they did go off together every once in a while just to get some alone time, they'd still be responsible for that third person, still be responsible for making sure he or she was taken care of at all times. It was rather intimidating to think about how this infant that would arrive in just a few months would be completely and totally theirs, their responsibility, all the time. A whole life that was in their hands, under their care.

And though this was horribly intimidating, it was also wonderful at the same time, perfect. He liked that. He liked the sound of having a little kid that would call him 'Daddy', somebody that shared their features but was a completely new person, someone that they could call their child. It was wonderful and terrifying all at once. And he was only distracted from this daze as Vianna spoke, asking if he wanted to get lunch before they went to see her parents.

This question seemed to hit him out of nowhere, reminding him that their day was far from over and that they still had to tell all of her family that she was going to have a baby in nine months; that she was pregnant. His eyebrows rose at the reminder and he shook his head just barely as though to clear away the thought clouds. "Uh...I dunno gem, I'm alright right now," he replied, referring to his hunger level. But honestly, he would rather just get it over with. He wanted to have this out of the way so they could focus on other things, not just that. "Are you hungry?" he asked as they continued to walk, wanting to make sure that she was doing alright.

ooc: Awwww alright, Ruthersss! I'll see you tomorrow, then!!
& Yeah, can't wait!

Vianna watched with vague amusement as her question seemed to snap her husband out of the cloud he'd been in for the past five minutes, before he went on to share that he wasn't sure, that he wasn't necessarily hungry at that moment. The girl nodded her head at this, the amusement leaving her expression. As he then asked if she was hungry, the girl shook her head slightly, honestly not hungry at all despite having had a small breakfast. She just couldn't focus on that right now, though; she was too busy absorbing all this new information, making new realizations, and worrying about her family to really feel hungry. And either way, it was still morning time, it wasn't even noon yet. Vianna was quiet for a moment then, her brows furrowed just very slightly, thoughtfully, before she returned her gaze to the boy beside her. "So… you want to go now, then?" she asked softly, not sure if the boy felt the same need to stall that she did.

But the girl couldn't help this bit of uneasiness she was feeling; the thought of her parents being disappointed or upset by something that was actually starting to make her happy and excited was a painful one. She remembered Ferris's earlier words then, from the day before, when he had assured her that even if her parents didn't approve of this, the baby was still theirs and they still had to go on with this. And though these words were comforting, and they did make the girl feel better, it didn't completely wash away her uneasiness. Only one thing would make her feel better at this point, and that would be to just go on with this, to just share the news with her parents and find out their reaction rather than be left in the dark about it, imagining the worst. She didn't really want to go, not just yet, but… she knew she had to eventually, and the sooner they got to it, the better.

Ferris listened as Vianna informed him that she, too, wasn't all that hungry or in the mood for food, giving a brief nod at this agreement between them. Yes, it was a little too soon for lunch and for once the young man was a bit too nervous to eat, a little too uneasy. But the mere idea that Vianna's parents would be upset with this coming baby gave him two major emotions: worry and defiance. Worry, because he obviously wanted their support behind them, it would only make this process easier on them. And defiance, because he immediately (and rather unexpectedly) realized that he was going to be happy with this baby no matter what happened. Because he did want this child, he wanted to be a dad more than he ever realized he would've. And though all of this information was overwhelming and a little daunting, the idea of having a baby with his favourite person on the planet brought a bit of a jump to his heart every time it crossed his mind. He was distracted from these thoughts as she spoke, asking if he wanted to go to her home right then, a question that got his eyebrows to raise just slightly.

Of course, he knew that that was the other thing they'd planned for that day and they needed to do it, it was still a little worrying for him. He was nervous. One way or another, this was telling her parents that they were having a baby together. That she was carrying his baby. And even if they were married and completely in love, in a stable place in their lives; this was still the basic fact of informing her mother, father, and two older brothers (both still much more muscled than the boy) that she was carrying his baby. "Yeah, right now's probably for the best," he agreed with a weak smile, immediately realizing that they were both feeling this apprehension. He pulled her over to the side of the sidewalk, pulling her close to him as he let a lanky arm slip around her slender waist, brown eyes finding her blue ones with a warm smile on instinct. "Let's not be too freaked out, okay?" he suggested softly, as though this was something that they both had control over. "I'm not just gonna leave you there all alone," he murmured playfully, lopsided smile coming over his expression. "If they don't like NoName's presence in our lives', then they'll be going after your nerdy Professor anyway," he grumbled teasingly, pecking her lips sweetly as he pulled her closer. "I'd be the bad guy, remember?" he added playfully.

Vianna gave a weak smile though she felt her heart sink as Ferris agreed that it was probably best that they got this task out of the way now rather than later. She knew he was right, she knew that really would be the best and the wisest thing to do, but she was still terribly nervous and uneasy about it all. She wasn't even sure yet how to bring the topic up, how to share this unexpected news! The girl was distracted from these thoughts and worries, though, as Ferris then pulled her over to the side of the sidewalk, holding the girl close and suggesting that they not be too freaked out about this. Vianna returned the warm smile he gave her on instinct, crystal blue eyes almost sparkling at the sight of him, as if she hadn't seen him in ages, and she nodded her head slightly. "I'll try," she said with a soft, slightly flustered chuckle though she did hope to calm her nerves a bit and make this easier not only on herself but on the boy before her as well. After all, she knew that her being all uneasy and nervous like this could only be making him even more nervous rather than relaxed, and that was the last thing she wanted to cause the boy. He'd been worried enough as it was these past two days, she didn't want to add on to it. The girl listened as he then went on to explain to her that if her parents didn't like NoName's presence in their lives, then they'd go after her nerdy Professor anyway, that he would be the bad guy. Vianna giggled lightly at this, returning the peck kiss he placed on her lips lovingly. "I don't want anyone going after my Professor!" she replied, her forehead creasing slightly though she was only mock worried. "He's not a bad guy… he's been great about all of this, actually; and very helpful," she added with a warm smile, leaning on her toes once more to return her lips to the boy's, not only because she felt a sudden urge to do so, but also in an attempt to calm him slightly - no, to calm them both slightly. It was sweet, and it was loving, and it ended only a couple moments later when the girl pulled back with the warmest of smiles, her crystal blue eyes almost sparkling. She was nervous still, that was true, but… well, despite whatever her parents or anyone said, this pregnancy was not going to just randomly go away and she was still going to look forward to being a mother and sharing this beautiful experience with her husband. Things were not going to change.

Ferris's expression only seemed to grow more amused as Vianna mentioned with mock concern that she didn't want anyone to go after her Professor, that he wasn't a bad guy and he'd actually been very good and helpful about all of this news. He grew a bit more flattered, his grin spreading across his expression, turning a bit more lopsided as he admired her with sparkling brown eyes. "Oh yeah?" he murmured to her softly, his lips already meeting her halfway, knowing it was coming, as her lips finally met his own. And just as Vianna had wanted, he could feel himself melt under her touch, feel his worries slip away in the fashion that only her lips could provide. He seemed to forget all else, his other arm coming around her small waist as he pulled her closer and returned the gesture as lovingly as he could, unable to help himself. But her kisses were the sweetest things on the planet, the most calming of experiences, wonderful no matter what. And when she finally broke apart from him, his expression was left completely dazed, his grin goofily lopsided and making him look a bit silly. "C'mon, let's go," he finally said, watching her with admiring brown eyes from his height a foot above. "The sooner we tell them, the sooner I can give you a few more of those," he grumbled playfully, pecking her lips sweetly for just a moment before breaking apart and releasing her waist reluctantly. "Hop on," the young man instructed with a bit of a grin, standing before her and leaning down slightly so she could more easily hop up onto his back. Piggy back rides were a wonderful past time for Fervi, a form of transportation that always came in handy anywhere at any time, especially when Ferris just wanted to hold her for a while, to feel her arms around his neck. It was nice, in a way. "We're gonna apparate," he admitted, knowing that it wasn't much of a piggy back ride, but he'd walk her to the front door on his back. Ferris turned back to look at her with a bit of a boyish grin, his brown eyes sparkling at her for a moment, warm, sweet as they admired her expression.

Vianna giggled lightly at that charming goofily lopsided grin her husband flashed her, one that always brought her back in time to when she'd first met him, to when he was just a boy and she was just a girl, when they were just two students attending the same camp for the same school, completely unaware that around six years into the future, they'd be married and expecting their first child.
The girl was soon snapped out of this minor daze, though, as Ferris reminded her that the sooner they got this over with, the sooner he could give her more kisses, something which got the girl to laugh lightly. "That's great motivation, Professor!" she said playfully with another chuckle, her eyebrows raising as he then asked her to hop on his back. Completely amused and filling with a bit of childlike excitement, Vianna grinned and nodded her head, quickly doing as she was told and hopping onto the boy's back with ease, her arms wrapping around his neck and her legs around his waist. As the boy then announced that they were going to apparate, Vianna gave a soft chuckle. "I had a feeling you weren't going to walk me all the way to Italy like this," she teased with amusement, leaning over his shoulder just enough to place a kiss on his cheek before pulling back. "Let's go!"

Ferris gave out a soft chuckle as Vianna mentioned that the idea of kisses was a great motivation, something he couldn't help but agree with before growing distracted as she climbed onto his back. He quickly supported her legs, his hands coming to rest just behind her knees to hold her up as he felt her arms slip around his neck, teasing him by mentioning her guess that he wasn't going to walk her all the way to Italy on his back. "I thought about it, but I didn't want to make my gem nauseous by walking amazingly fast," he joked teasingly, grin widening as he felt a kiss to his cheek. Was it odd that he still got a strange sense of comfort when he felt her arms around his neck? He did, that was definite. There was just something warm and sweet about the way her lightly tanned arms slipped around his neck perfectly, allowing her small hands to rest comfortably on his chest, near his collarbone. It was nice. He listened as she then suggested that they get going, snapping out of his minor daze. "Alright, alright, I'm off," he promised, taking out his wand carefully and apparating them to the front yard of the Vincenzi mansion.
Oh man.
Had it always been this scary?

Vianna gave an amused chuckle as Ferris shared that he had considered the idea of walking her to Italy, but didn't want to make her nauseous by walking amazingly fast. She was completely amused by him, endeared by his sense of humour, before snapping out of it a couple moments later as the boy announced that they were now leaving, pulling out his wand and disapparating the couple from their small hometown. Vianna held on tightly to the boy, her arms tightening their grip around his neck, and her crystal blue eyes closing tightly. Had apparating always been like this? Always made her feel so… ill? No, actually, it didn't. But apparating in itself had fame for being a rather nauseating process, and in the state Vianna was in right now, the ride was no easier than before. Luckily for Ferris, though, she didn't puke out her breakfast on him right then there, as the nauseous feeling left as abruptly as it had come.

Vianna was soon distracted from her illness as her crystal blue eyes opened and fell upon an all too familiar sight, the home she had grown up in (and every other generation of the Vincenzis before her, up to the sixteenth century). Just the sight of it gave the girl this…. homely feeling, this feeling of warmth and comfort. However, these nice and sweet feelings were soon overruled by a feeling of uneasiness. Her parents were right there, waiting for her (they'd written to them the night before to warn them of their visit), waiting to hear the news she was bringing with her this day. Oh no…
The girl felt her heart speed up immediately, beginning to grow completely anxious, nervous, even a little scared. After a few moments of them just standing there staring at the house, Vianna sighed softly. "We're here," she announced as if this wasn't obvious already. "You ready, Professor?"

Ferris very gently let Vianna slip off of his back, his distraction over the coming meeting with her parents overshadowing any concerns that might've normally occurred over her nausea (which didn't even come to his mind at the moment). He was far too distracted by the idea of meeting with her parents, of telling them the news. It was much different just standing outside, knowing they were right in there, expecting to be told some form of news; some news he wasn't sure how they'd handle. It was much scarier, much more intimidating when he was staring up at that large house, knowing that there were at least a few people in there that could potentially curse/punch out/bite him if they took this news the wrong way.

Ferris was taken away from his own thoughts as the girl at his side spoke, asking if he was ready after announcing that they'd arrived. He gave a faint smile at the sight of her, admiring her expression though immediately realizing that it was pretty nervous, stressed almost. He didn't like that expression gracing his wife's beautiful features, didn't enjoy the way she seemed to be growing more and more anxious. "Hold on," he murmured softly, not in a command but more of as a relaxing tone, as though suggesting this to her. He pulled her over to him gently, their hands intwined as he slipped his free arm around her waist, keeping her close to himself on instinct, never letting his gaze leave her own. "Don't be worried," he asked of her softly, searching her gaze with mild curiosity. "I'm sure they'll love the news," the young man tried to assure her, though full well knowing that this was something he couldn't guarantee. "I'm not going anywhere," he added to the end with a boyish half smile, reminding her that he wasn't ever leaving her side. "Like I said, I'll get beat up for us if I have to," Ferris teased, trying to get one of those giggles out of her.

Vianna was absentmindedly staring at her old home, as if waiting for her parents to walk out the door any second, though they obviously didn't even know the couple had arrived. But she was distracted from this as the boy beside her asked her to hold on, and Vianna's expression turned from uneasiness into a bit of curiosity, wondering what it was that he had to do now, just before they were about to meet her parents. It was then that he pulled the girl closer, her crystal blue eyes watching his own brown ones curiously as he did so, with just the slightest hint of uneasiness still behind that curiosity, and she listened as he then asked her not to be worried, that he was sure her parents would love the news. Vianna smiled warmly then, appreciative of her husband's efforts, and she listened as he then went on to remind her that he wasn't going anywhere, something which got her smile to widen. But this reminder did make her feel better. She liked knowing that he was going to be there, that he wasn't leaving her side, that she wasn't doing this alone. And as he then went on to add that he would get beat up for the both of them if he had to, the young girl laughed lightly with amusement. "Well I'm hoping no one is going to beat my Professor up," she said softly, her warm smile amused. "Because he's too cute and too sweet to receive that kind of treatment," she added, her blue eyes falling away from his own brown ones then and instead falling onto his lips. "And he's too smart, and too charming… and too caring, and too wonderful…" She slowly leaned on her toes as each word was spoken, until her lips met his own gently, but very lovingly, awarding the boy a kiss she wasn't sure why she suddenly felt an urge to give him; she just did. Perhaps it was because he was being so amusing right now, or perhaps it was because he'd been so supportive ever since she announced to him that they were having this baby. She wasn't sure what the reason was behind it, but the message was very clear in that kiss - I love you.

Ferris's brown eyes seemed to melt on the spot as he watched Vianna hope aloud that no one beat up her Professor, growing completely flattered that he was able to get that beautiful smile back on her face. But she was just so cute... He couldn't help but think so, but relish in the sight of her smiling at him like that. He listened as she continued, slowly leaning up on her toes as she explained that her Professor was too smart and charming and caring and wonderful (all things that got his heart to jump) to receive that sort of treatment. Before he could let his dazed brown eyes focus in on anything but those beautiful blue ones, before he could even reply with a sheepish 'thanks', her lips had fallen onto his own in a way that inspired an immediate reaction of love from the boy. Ferris pulled her closer on instinct, sweetly returning the kiss without hesitation, feeling as though it must've been ages since he'd last gotten to kiss his wife. And now, right before they had to go face their fears, seemed like the best possible time to release their nerves, to share a sort of mind numbing kiss that would inadvertantly relax them. But the main point of this kiss didn't rely in the relaxation technique that came with it, but rather the need to express how much he loved her, how happy he still was just being right there with her, kissing those rosy lips he loved so much.

Vianna, too, couldn't help feeling like she hadn't kissed her husband in ages. But it seemed that with all these worries of the baby and visiting the doctor and now facing her parents, the couple had been a little too distracted to express their love for each other as they so often did before all of this happened. And it was true that this really felt like the right time to do it, the right time to calm their nerves with this wonderful kiss but share their feelings as well, express their love for one another. It was perfect, it was a beautiful feeling each time they kissed like this, and it truly did relax the girl, it did make her feel much lighter, her worries fading away, no longer weighing her down. And once this wonderful gesture came to an end and the girl's crystal blue eyes fluttered open to meet the boy's own brown ones, she was feeling a lot better, a lot more relaxed. She was quiet for the next couple moments, her crystal blue eyes slightly dazed as she just gazed up at the features she loved so much, her hand wrapping around the boy's before she spoke, "Let's go, Professor. Let's get this over with," she suggested with a warm smile, leaning on her toes one more time to peck his cheek warmly, then pulling back with a bright smile that only seemed brighter with the way the morning Italian sun was making her lightly tanned skin glow.

As the girl next to him finally broke apart from their sweet kiss, Ferris's dark brown eyes fluttered open as the goofiest of lopsided grins fell onto his expression, his gaze admiring the sight of her shamelessly. Yes, it'd been far too long since he'd gotten to kiss her like that. He was just admiring the sight of her so close to himself when she took his hand once more, pecking his cheek as she suggested they go and get this over with. "Yeah, alright," he agreed, snapping back to reality with a sheepish chuckle and a soft sigh. Right, yeah. Parents. He'd been inches away from forgetting all about that, just for that one second in time. But just as he was turning to go back towards the house, there she was. There she was, the morning sun making it seem as though her beautifully tanned skin was literally letting off a glow of sorts, like she was her own source of light. He groaned slightly to himself, as though tortured by her attractiveness, before pecking her lips lovingly once more and flashing her a sheepish smile. "Stop being so cute..." he grumbled under his breath playfully, leading her over towards the door and gently knocking, nearly forgetting what he was doing until he realized it was already done. His brown eyes widened as his hand fell from the wood, falling to his side as he realized that he hardly had a moment to gather himself. Darn Vianna and her beautiful skin! He tried to collect himself, letting out a soft sigh in the hopes that Costa might need an extra amount of time to get to the door.

OOC: I'm off for now Deee Derupersss! I wish I didn't have to leave so soon, but I'll be back tomorrow night as much as I can! And then, like I said, by Sunday we should be back on track! I'll reply to the VM tomorrow! Bye for now!

ooc: Byeeeeee Ruthersss!
No worries, I was about to go after this post too! Byee!!

Vianna's eyebrows rose slightly as Ferris groaned slightly to himself, though she'd come to understand this gesture over the years and was now aware that it was a sign that her husband was probably frustrated at the moment, that she was being unintentionally attractive to him again. And this made her laugh lightly, completely amused by how easily the boy could be attracted to her, without her even having to do a thing. But this feeling was definitely mutual as the girl often found herself feeling the same way, finding her husband to be the cutest thing of life when he was just doing the simplest of things like eating or reading a book. As the boy then pecked her lips gently, Vianna returned the gesture with a giggle which only grew as he asked her to stop being cute. "I should be asking you the same thing!" she replied with a chuckle, following his lead over to the large, heavily carved wooden doors of the Vincenzi home. The girl's eyebrows rose slightly as Ferris wasted no time on knocking on the door, and gave an amused smile as he seemed to realize this, obviously having been distracted. She flashed the boy a smile before returning her gaze ahead just as the doors opened almost immediately, a small little elf with large light brown eyes coming to sight. "Benvenuto, Signor Ferris, Signora Vianna!" greeted the little elf with a courteous bow of her head as she moved aside, extending a thin little arm out, gesturing for the couple to walk inside, where loud Italian could be heard bouncing off the walls, something not very welcoming about this voice as it echoed with clear frustration, even with a hint of anger; someone was clearly very upset at the moment and Vianna immediately recognized the voice to be her father's. And it wasn't very often that the girl heard her usually-so-cheery father sounding this upset; usually if someone was going to be scolded, her mother was the one to take care of that. So if Mrs. Vincenzi was quiet for once and the one to grow so clearly upset was her father, then... something big must've been going on.

OOC: Only on for like half a second, but I'll be back in two or three hours, as usual!

Ferris gave a bit of a grin as Vianna mentioned that she should've been asking him to stop being so cute as well, obviously rather amused with the way they got so unintentionally attracted to one another. They were so weird. Before he knew it, however, he was staring at the door with nerves bouncing through his insides, amplifying his fear of what the Vincenzis might say. This feeling only increased as Costa opened the large front door, welcoming into the entrance hall with sweet Italian, something he nodded politely at. It's okay Ferris, you can do this. No one's going to curse your face off. No. Even if they were upset, they'd probably go for like a hand or a foot.... His brown eyes widened slightly at his own thoughts, obviously realizing that he wasn't comforting himself, but he was soon distracted from these thoughts as they took the first step through the door. What was that horrible noise, that booming, unintelligable (to him, as he didn't speak the language) noise ringing through the house, deep in tone like a raging lion. Yelling? Who was yelling?! They'd hardly took a step through the door and there was already yelling?! Ferris's brown eyes widened once more and he froze on his feet, standing stock still in the entrance hall as he tried to gather what was going on. It quickly became apparent that the yells were not directed at the two of them, and also that these yells were coming from Mr. Vincenzi, who usually had a very happy demeanor. This only gave the young man a small ounce of relief, still rather shocked by the normally cheery voice dishing out a strong serving of anger. The boy gently pulled his wife closer to him by the hand, obvious concern and confusion on his features, hoping desperately that they wouldn't get this reaction when they shared their own news. He took a step back without realizing it, as though changing his mind, and flashed Vianna a sheepish smile as he realized this. Obviously, he wasn't about to dart (it was just instinct to take a step back from such roaring noise), though it was tempting to just pick up his wife and run back to England. "Y-You sure you don't want to get that lunch?" he asked jokingly, a sort of nervousness to his voice, though it was obvious he was just kidding. They needed to tell her parents this. And now a more recent desire, they needed to figure out what in the world was going on to make Mr. Vincenzi yell like this. He'd never heard that before! Not once, in all the years he'd known the family had he witnessed the normally jolly man take the reigns of scolding! It was always his wife who yelled at the kids when they'd done something wrong, he usually sit back to be the good guy. It was odd and really quite terrifying to hear him yell like this, especially since they had news of their own that they weren't sure how Vianna's parents would take this.

ooc: Ooohohohooho sneakingaround!Ruthers. Yayyyyy I'm glad you were able to sneak on, though! Unless you weren't sneaking... either way, I'll see you in a few, then!

Vianna was completely frozen once she'd stepped into the house, crystal blue eyes wide and eyebrows raised slightly. What in the world was going on?! She was quiet for the next few moments, frozen just a few steps from the doors Costa had just closed, her hand wrapped tightly around Ferris's. The girl was only slightly snapped out of this state of shock and surprise as Ferris pulled her closer, and she turned her gaze to him then only to find pure surprise and confusion on his own features. She was just about to speak, to suggest that everything was alright, when he suddenly took a step back and flashed her a sheepish smile which Vianna returned with a bit of amusement. As he then asked if she was sure she didn't want to get that lunch, the girl chuckled softly and nodded her head slightly. "I'm not sure what's going on, but at least it's not us that are getting yelled at," said the girl with a small smile, her voice barely heard when Mr. Vincenzi's much deeper one was still echoing from the living room. The girl had never really seen (or rather heard) her father like this, and she wasn't sure just walking in in the middle of this would be the wisest thing to do at the moment. However, they couldn't just stand out here forever just wondering what in the world was going on.

"Psst! Costa!" the girl whispered to the little house elf then, and Costa quickly made her way over to her side.

"Si, Signora?"

"Costa… che cosa sta succedendo?" asked the girl to the little elf who looked probably just as horrified as them.

Costa's gaze fell and she replied, "Il signor Vincente ha portato i tuoi genitori alcune notizie che hanno sconvolto il signor Vincenzi," she said softly, and a little vaguely as all that Vianna really got from this was that Vince had come and given their parents some news that had upset her father. But that could be anything! Vince is always doing things to upset Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi (not on purpose, though, the boy simply can't help it that he's a magnet for trouble)!

Vianna sighed softly to herself, her blue eyes on the entranceway to the living room for a moment before she turned to Ferris. "C'mon, Professor," she said softly, tugging at his hand gently. "I'm a little paranoid at this point that my brother might end up six feet under," she said with a weak chuckle at an attempt at playfulness, though there was clear worry in her crystal blue eyes. It was true that out of all the three siblings, she and Vince were the ones to bicker the most, but that didn't mean she liked hearing her father yell at him this way! It was horrible and it rather made the girl feel a little bad for him.

OOC: Bahahah yes, I guess I was being rather sneaky!

Ferris gave a brief nod of agreement as Vianna mentioned that she wasn't sure what was going on, but rather that she was grateful that it wasn't them who was being yelled at. "Yeah..." he muttered slightly, brown eyes warily on the room a few yards away, curious as to what could be going on with the Vincenzis. Curious though not having any way to figure out the mystery, he watched as his wife turned to Costa for explanation, something that seemed rather ingenius, and he turned to the little house elf as though expecting to hear the answer plain and clear. And of course, she spoke in pure Italian (something the boy hadn't mastered at all yet, just a few words) and therefore Ferris couldn't really understand the message. He watched with curious and withdrawn brown eyes as Vianna held a small conversation with Costa before simply pulling him towards the living room where this was all going on.

He was all ears as she tugged at his hand, leading him towards the living room as she mentioned not wanting her brother 'six feet under'. His eyebrows rose at the statement. So this had something to do with either Vince or Victor... Well, it was most likely Vince, he was usually the one to be reprimanded for one thing or another. But, he'd never heard it like this... "What's going on?" he asked her ear softly, though they didn't have any time for an answer as just moments later they were standing in the entrance of the living room, now getting a full view of the scene. Ferris gently released his wife's hand to grasp it moments later in his right one, leaving his left hand open to rest on the small of her back, holding her just slightly in front of him, his hands keeping her close but not completely enveloping her into his arms. He scanned the people in the room; Mr. Vincenzi, Mrs. Vincenzi, little Jackie (Vince and his wife's baby, though he'd only met the baby in the past as his wife had always been busy with one thing or another. In fact, it was rather strange as they'd never really even gotten to go to the wedding, since it all happened so fast), and Julia.

.......

Julia?! What was she doing there!?
Ferris's dark brown eyes widened, focusing in on her incredulously. She looked different, as he knew she did, though he would never fully be able to get used to the makeover. Three or four years ago, the two of them had talked over the whole situation with what had happened six years ago in their town, that dreaded kiss that the confused Julia had placed on him, hoping to win him over. It was immediately decided that Julia's tastes had gone in a different direction, and she explained (through horribly glossy lips) that just weeks after kissing him that one time, she'd realized that she was interested in a completely different type of man. Surprised but relieved to find this out (since he was obviously in love with Vianna and felt a little uneasy about his old friend having a thing for him), he listened as she explained that it was all a mistake, as she apparently 'didn't know who she was then', that she was confused with what she wanted. But she then knew immediately that she wanted to get straight out of Crossfield and find herself this new kind of man. Ferris had been grateful to hear this, and they'd left on good terms, but he hadn't seen her since the wedding three years ago and he hadn't expected to find her here of all places.

But there she was, fake blonde hair accidently showing off her naturally light brown roots, examining her fingernails absentmindedly as though she couldn't hear the yelling going on around her. "Julia?!" Ferris said, brows furrowed and face in a confused grimace, breaking through the argumentative air without realizing it and quickly shutting up once more.

"Oh! Hey Ferris," she said with a dumb wave of her hand, putting on a small smile as she wiggled her fingers at the pair. "Vianna, you look so cute today," she commented as though she'd seen the girl every day for years, as though they were good friends. But her words seemed rather fake, just silly compliments and greetings, sitting on the couch in a short black dress that was much more suitable for a late night event. Her nails were acrylic, long and rather gross-looking to Ferris, her skin tanned and her face caked with a good deal of makeup. Her hair was moussed, down but completely stationary, the long curls hanging, completely stuck in their position. Ferris pulled Vianna a bit closer, as though afraid whatever make-up covering disease that Julia had was contagious to his beautiful gem.

ooc: Go Sneaky!Ruthers !
AHAHAHAHHAHA Julia!! -dies-

Vianna looked rather uneasy as she and Ferris stepped into the living room, her crystal blue eyes scanning the scene quietly, trying to make some sense out of it all. Her short and round father, who was usually so cheery and whose bright smile she had inherited, was pacing around the room waving his arms all around in such a typical-Sicilian-man manner, clearly very frustrated as the aggravated Italian tongue echoed through the room. Mrs. Vincenzi was sitting on an armchair nearby, looking like she'd just learned that she had a life-threatening illness or something, shaking her head slightly to herself as disappointed caramel-coloured eyes stared at the other group across from her. And there, on the couch, was her older brother Vince looking more like a scolded little boy than a 24-year-old man, sinking further and further into the cushions of the couch as his father continued. And beside him was a character Vianna had never really seen before, and on her lap sat little Jackie, who had actually turned out to be quite an adorable-looking child. She had inherited her father's crystal blue eyes and she had light brown hair (which Vianna had no idea where it had come from, but assumed it must've been the mother's) that curled just very slightly at the tips. Her skin was just very slightly tanned from the Italian sun and her cheeks were a lovely shade of pink as she watched her grandfather pace around with all the amusement in the world, letting out a few giggles every now and then, as if she was completely enjoying this scolding her father was receiving. She bounced around on the blonde woman's lap, looking like a little porcelain doll in her white dress and sparkling-clean matching little white shoes, a few decorative clips in her hair.

But what Vianna couldn't figure out was who in the world the blonde woman was and why she was holding Vince's kid - what, did he divorce the mother and find himself a new girlfriend already? Was that why her parents were so upset? That probably wasn't the nicest thing to do, but it didn't seem like enough motive to get Mr. Vincenzi breathing fire like this!
And it was then that Ferris spoke - 'Julia?!'
Vianna's eyes widened further, large as saucers on her lightly tanned face. Wait-- what?! This blonde woman with a thin little nose and short black dress is Julia?! Her jaw nearly dropped to the floor then. What in the world was Julia doing here?! And oh my goodness, had she changed… but… What in the world was she doing in the Vincenzis' home?! And why was she carrying Jackie, and sitting beside Vince, and--
Vianna's eyes widened further, if it was even still possible at this point. Was Julia her brother's wife? Jackie's mother? And then, to confirm that this really was the same Julia Vianna had met so many years ago in Crossfield, and the same Julia that had attended hers and Ferris's wedding, the blonde woman spoke, greeting Ferris and Vianna casually.

Mr. Vincenzi stopped pacing then, coming to an abrupt halt as his blue eyes fell upon the newcomers. Mrs. Vincenzi turned her attention to them then, and only half a second later she was on her feet, hurrying over to them. "Vianna! Ferris!" she greeted them both with a warm, welcoming hug and the brightest of smiles, as if she hadn't seen them in ages. Which was kind of true; last time she'd seen the couple (in person, at least) it had been a few months ago. "I'd nearly forgotten you were coming!" added the woman, completely pushing aside whatever it was that had her looking so horrified earlier.

Mr. Vincenzi cleared his throat and quickly composed himself then, planting a bright, welcoming smile on his face, as if he hadn't just been going around breathing fire just a moment ago. "Ah, you're finally here! Please, please, take a seat!" he said, gesturing to one of the empty couches. "I'm sorry, we got a little distracted and forgot you were coming!"

Vianna looked even more puzzled now. What in the world was going on here?! She gave her parents a weak smile, though her features were all very clearly and completely puzzled, confused, and her gaze fell upon her brother then who gave her a small smile as he sat up on the couch, looking completely out of his comfort zone. But how comfortable could you be with your father yelling like that? Still holding tightly to Ferris's hand, Vianna made her way over to the couch her father had gestured to them and took a seat, only to be joined a second later by Costa who was now offering them both glasses filled with pumpkin juice.

Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor

OOC: Aw man, you've gotta love it!

Ferris was still watching Julia with wide brown eyes, completely confused with her presence and the new additions to her appearance. At the wedding, she looked pretty much made over, the blonde hair different along with her tanned skin. But that nose! That was most definitely a different nose than what she'd had before! What was she doing with a new nose!? Better yet -- Who paid for a new nose?! Confused, the young man followed Vianna over to the couch that the Vincenzis had gestured to, his gaze finally tearing away from the three on the other couch and over to Vianna's parents. "Hello," he replied with a small, weak chuckle as he returned Mrs. Vincenzi's hug and sat down. He never once released Vianna's hand, sitting closely at her side as his brown eyes inadvertantly returned to Vince, Julia, and Jackie. Why were they all here!? Why was Jackie in Julia's la--

Oh.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
OH!
NO WAY!

His brown eyes widened once more as he rather slowly realized that Julia was Vince's wife, that she was the mother of Jackie! This was mind blowing to the young man who hadn't even known that Vince and Julia had ever met, let alone got married and had a baby... A baby he'd met before! Why wouldn't Vince ever tell them that it was Julia?! The only time he could remember them being them in the same place (besides the wedding) was six years ago, when Julia had come to apologize to him and was escorted out by Vince. She was taking him to find a place to send letters, or something silly like that.

This was so weird! His brows were furrowed as he watched them, trying to grasp this new concept. Finally, he just shook his head with a disbelieving look on his face, slowy remembering that they were there for a reason. Absentmindedly, Ferris took the pumpkin juice (with a thank you) from Costa, taking a sip as he nervously sunk back into the couch cushions. Well... This was a little awkward. They'd just walked in on Mr. Vincenzi dishing out a load of anger onto his son, and now they had the task of informing the parents that their youngest child was now having a baby of her own.
This was turning out to be an eventful day.

Julia still didn't seem to find anything weird with this situation, an absentminded half smile on her unnaturally tanned face, as though she was walking through the park rather than examining her nails in a room filled with tension. The baby was resting on her lap, though she didn't seem to pay much attention to her daughter until she suddenly made a face, apparently smelling something. "Ew!" she suddenly exclaimed, turning to look at Jackie (who seemed rather pleased) with a look of disgust. "Vincie..." she groaned in a whining voice, her bubblegum pink glossed lips forming into a pout. "Could you change her diaper for me?" she asked, apparently trying to look sweet. Their daughter was nearing two, but was still wearing diapers. And though this wasn't really uncommon (many parents waited until the age of three to potty train), Julia would've much rather that the baby was born with the knowledge of potty training so she never had to touch a dirty diaper. Lucky for her, she had Vince. Before he could answer she unceremoniously plopped Jackie onto Vince's lap, then turning back to her nails with the same amount of indifference, all sweetness gone.

Ferris raised his eyebrows slightly at this, still disbelieving, before turning to the girl at his side only to be washed over with an unexpected wave of relief.
There she was. There was that face he loved to see. Completely natural, devoid of any makeup. She didn't need it, she never did; she was beautiful. Her tan skin came natural to her Sicilian roots, her brown hair laying long around her shoulders as it always did, not filled with mousse or anything ridiculous like that. Her cute little nose was her cute little nose, and he very suddenly felt a wave of gratefulness to have a girl like Vianna at his side. Seeming to forget the others momentarily, his brown eyes resting on Vianna in an almost dazed manner, he brought up a hand to turn her chin towards him. He gave her a small, goofily lopsided half smile as he admired her before placing a very short, sweet peck to her naturally rosy lips. No traces of bubblegum gunk on her beautifully soft lips, nothing ridiculous like that. It was pretty funny how distracted the young man could get just by turning to look at Vianna, how easily he fell into ViannaLand and forgot much of everything else. Ferris released her chin a couple moments later but pulled her a bit closer with a warm smile, admiring her expression still with dazed brown eyes.

As soon as Fervi were sitting on the couch, Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi returned to their places, each on their own armchair right beside the other, welcoming and friendly smiles on their faces as they seemed to forget all about Vince and Julia and their own drama. And for this, Vince was extremely grateful. Vianna and Ferris couldn't have shown up at a better time! This was his cue! He had to make his escape now before his dad could remember what he was even scolding him for in the first place. However, all hopes of escape left the boy as a most foul smell filled the air, one that he had become far too familiar with over the past couple years, ever since Jackie came around. With a weak smile that hid a great amount of aggravation, Vince turned to his wife girlfriend as she whined his new nickname in a way he'd become far too familiar with as well - it usually came when Jackie needed a diaper change, when she woke up in the middle of the night crying, or when Julia needed money. And judging by the smell filling the air, Vince was guessing this time it was a diaper change. But before the boy could even complain - which he honestly didn't even plan to do, as he had learned over the years that there was simply no use in arguing with Julia; and besides, she had him wrapped around her finger like her own personal house-elf - Jackie had already been plopped down onto his lap.

The baby girl giggled to herself, flashing her father the most amused and devious of little smiles. As Julia asked if he could change the baby's diaper for her, Vince sighed softly, keeping the weak smile on his face. "Yes, dear," he replied, and Vianna's jaw nearly dropped to the floor yet again as she watched this. Who in the world was this man!? It could not possibly be her brother! Vince would never let himself be bossed around like that, he would never succumb to a girl just like that! He'd always been the one to go around breaking hearts and playing with girls, not getting played by one! This was completely surreal. It was completely ridiculous. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever - wait, and her brother knew how to change diapers? Oh Merlin… this was worse than she originally thought! But how did Julia manage to get someone like Vince Vincenzi to turn into a house-elf?!

"Excuse me," muttered Vince, excusing himself from the room as he got up to his feet with Jackie in his arms, for once actually feeling grateful that he had to change a diaper. This meant he had an excuse to leave the room, and that was exactly what he wanted at that moment; to get away from the stares and the scoldings… and to figure out how he was going to ask his parents for money after they'd nearly bit his head off just moments ago. But he needed help; serious help. Despite the fact that he had taken over Victor's place at the resort and was therefore making quite generous amounts of money, every single knut he made went straight to Julia's manicures, pedicures, hair extensions, plastic surgery, her favourite shopping stores, trips all around Europe, America, and Asia, and then of course, large part of it also went into Jackie and dressing the child up in the most expensive clothes the wizarding world had to offer. No child of Julia's was going to be dressed in regular clothes when she had a boyfriend who could pay for all these fancy things and followed her every command without a single complaint!
Yep, things were definitely not very good for the boy right now.

Vianna watched her brother go with almost pitiful crystal blue eyes, only to be distracted a moment later as Ferris's gentle fingers met her chin and her gaze was brought over toward him, to his brown eyes. She gave him a small warm smile out of instinct, her crystal blue eyes nearly sparkling at the sight of him the way they so often did. There was something admiring in his gaze that she couldn't quite figure out what had provoked it, but it certainly made the girl feel flattered and caused her smile to widen, even to turn a little sheepish as her blue eyes fell to her lap for a brief second before returning to his brown eyes as he leaned closer, placing a peck kiss upon her lips. Vianna returned the gesture gently, lovingly, and her smile only grew further beneath his lips.

Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi watched this with a bit of amusement and raised eyebrows. "Now, before we move on to your news," started Mrs. Vincenzi, addressing Fervi, "Have you both met Jackie's mother, Julia?" She gestured toward the girl, keeping a friendly smile on her pretty face though Vianna could very easily read the dislike in her mother's eyes. It seemed Mrs. Vincenzi wasn't very fond of Julia, even if she didn't know the girl all that well; but any mother that saw her son being bossed around this way by a plastic Barbie doll was always very likely to dislike the other woman.

"Yeah…" muttered Vianna quietly, turning to Julia and giving the girl a small smile though she couldn't help feeling a little awkward. This was so weird!

Mrs. Vincenzi's brows furrowed slightly then. "Oh, you do?" she muttered, though she didn't seem too surprised. Perhaps Vince had already introduced Julia to them after Jackie was born? Who knew. "Well then, in that case I guess there is no need for an introduction."
