| | That Summer - V.5!
This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, and thanks to Gryffindoll, emmafan123 and Lily Lupin this RP, plot and a couple characters are still thriving! It's one of our longest running RPs in a LONG time, if not the longest. So congrats to you girls for doing such a good job at keeping the thread(s) active, and enjoy.
This is version (5) FIVE, the first four threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris couldn't help but be slightly relieved as she told him she didn't want him to tag along (still not fond of doctors in the slightest), though he very well would've crowd surfed on thousands of doctors if Vianna needed him to. His still uncertain expression relieved into an amused smile as Vianna reminded him that he had a shop to watch, warning him not to try and use her doctor's appointment to excuse himself from work. "I wouldn't dream of it," he replied with a warm smile, pecking her lips sweetly once more, his arms snug around her. "But you send me a note any time you need me, no matter what, alright?" he added softly, "I don't care what I'm in the middle of, if you suddenly want me there, you tell me, alright?" he said softly.

Vianna couldn't help but beam as Ferris's handsome features filled with amusement, something she was very happy to see there, before he then assured her that he wouldn't want to skip work and awarded the girl a peck kiss she was quick to return lovingly. As he then asked her to send him a note if she needed him, that he didn't care what he was in the middle of, he'd be there if she needed him, Vianna's crystal blue eyes sparkled and she nodded her head. "I promise," she said softly, completely charmed by how caring her husband was toward her. And she was distracted by this daze for the next couple moments in which she just stood there sparkling her eyes at him before snapping out of it and heading back to the bed along with him, returning to the spot she'd taken earlier. "So where were we? Nathan's present?" said the girl with a smile, eager to get back to more casual and cheery subjects.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris couldn't help but give a warm smile as Vianna's blue eyes began to sparkle at him and she promised to let him know if she ever wanted him there. He liked that she seemed pleased with his words, but it was true. He wanted to be there if she needed him; he needed to be there for her. She was everything, and he wanted to be there for her, no matter what. He released her as she got back onto the bed, starting where they'd left off with Nathan's present. "Yeah, around there," he agreed with a small smile, climbing back onto the bed and picking up his last sandwich.
OOC: Do you wanna skip to the next day, whenever you want, for the doctor's office or after or whatever?

ooc: I'll skip on to the following morning, as Vi's getting ready for the doctor and Ferris is getting ready to go to the bookstore... Let me know if that's not cool.
It was around eight in the following morning when the bedside table alarm went off, awaking the couple from their peaceful slumber. Since it was the weekend, the bookstore opened an hour later than usual, at nine, and Vianna wanted to head to the doctor's office at around that time, just to get that errand out of the way early so she could head back to the bookstore and her husband didn't have to manage the shop all by himself for too long. They always worked together on the weekends, after all, and it was probably one of their favourite ways to spend time together. Sure, they didn't get to snog every second they wanted, but they were together and they were doing something they both enjoyed (especially Ferris, and that made Vianna incredibly happy), and the atmosphere was just overall very relaxing and friendly, not as stressful as their weekday jobs.
Brows furrowing in her sleep, Vianna turned beneath the sheets, and her hand found its way over to the alarm clock, turning it off. She yawned sleepily to herself, but had no trouble getting up that morning. It was eight, and that was the time Vianna usually woke up at even if she didn't have to wake up early that specific day, so she was feeling pretty energetic as her crystal blue eyes fluttered open to be greeted by the sight of her husband laying beside her. "Good morning, Professor," she greeted him with a bright smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Works for me! Ferris was awoken just barely by the alarm clock going off so suddenly, his brown eyes still closed for the most part until Vianna greeted him with a good morning, at which point the young man couldn't be so mean to himself as to allow his eyes to remain closed any longer. He let his brown eyes flutter open, admiring the sight of her so close to him immediately as a goofy grin fell onto his expression, obviously still sleepy. "Hey there," he murmured with a warm smile, leaning forward to place his lips on her own in a sweet kiss that lasted for a long couple moments. He broke apart reluctantly in order to pull her over to him (as they'd separated just slightly in the night), keeping her wrapped up in his arms as he pulled the covers back up. "How're you feeling?" he couldn't help but ask softly, that worry still in the very back of his mind, though he was beginning to place sweet kisses to the side of her face, on her cheek, her temple.

Vianna grinned as Ferris's brown eyes fluttered open as he greeted her, before then awarding the young girl a kiss she was quick to return lovingly. She smiled and gave a soft chuckle as the boy then pulled her closer, listening as he asked how she was feeling. "I'm pretty good," Vianna replied softly, her crystal blue eyes admiring his features illuminated by the soft morning light. Though she knew better by now than to assume that whatever weird illness she had wasn't going to attack again later on during the day. She only hoped the doctor would be able to tell her what in the world was going on with her. "How about you?" asked Vianna. "How's my sleepy Professor this morning?" she asked with a soft chuckle, pecking his lips gently once more.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna told him she was doing pretty good, asking how her sleepy Professor was doing that morning and pecking his lips. He returned the gesture sweetly, loving the feel of her lips on his own. If she really did have the flu, and it was contagious... Well, it wasn't even an option to stop kissing her, he'd just have to get it and that was that. He didn't seem to care about that in the slightest as he pecked her lips once more, unable to help himself. "He's doing very, very well," he admitted softly, admiring the sight of her with sparkling brown eyes. She was glowing again! Was she just glowing all the time now? Maybe he was crazy, he must've been, and so he didn't mention it, assuming that it was just the way the sunlight was hitting her expression from the window. "Mon bijou," he continued softly, pressing a kiss to her cheek, and then her temple, and then her lips, and then under he jaw, gentle with her.

Vianna giggled lightly as Ferris pecked her lips just after she had pecked his, listening as he went on to share that he was doing very, very well. At this, the girl gave a bit of a grin, and she giggled lightly once more as the boy began to shower her with morning kisses soon after murmuring her favourite nickname in French. To this day, it still fascinated her to hear him speak in that foreign language, and it always made her heart melt a little to hear him say just one word in French. "Oh no, Professor," she started suddenly after a couple moments of giggling and enjoying his kisses, "I'm not letting you distract me this time," she warned. "I have a doctor to visit and you have a shop to watch! We can't be late," she reminded him, light eyebrows raised slightly.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris seemed to be slightly amused as Vianna informed him after a couple sweet moments of filling the air with giggles that he wasn't going to distract her. He wasn't planning on taking this seriously, considering placing a million more sweet kisses to her soft skin, when she mentioned that she had a doctor to visit and he had to go to the shop. But the only part he seemed to care about was the doctor. He stopped his kisses and pulled back, a faint smile on his pale face. "You're right," he murmured reluctantly with a sigh, placing a sweet kiss to her lips for just a moment before breaking apart. "I want you in that doctor's office soon enough, I want to know sooner rather than later that my gem's gonna be fine," he murmured to her, though he didn't seem to want to let her go, as though these words brought on a fresh wave of minor fear that something could really be wrong. And it did. "Right?" he murmured, much more softly to her ear as he buried his expression into her long brown hair, looking for confirmation (as though this would make it true) that she would be perfectly fine.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris agreed to her last words, something that was highly unusual as he usually ignored her reminders if it meant the kisses had to come to an end, and listened as he explained that he wanted her in that doctor's office soon, that he wanted to know that his gem was going to be fine. At this, the girl smiled warmly, nodding her head slightly before he buried his face into her long brown hair, asking for confirmation of this. "Of course, Professor," said the young girl softly. "I'll be at the bookstore so soon you won't have time to miss me," she said with a soft chuckle. "And I'll bring with me that news that everything's alright, that I've probably just caught a minor cold," she assured him, though she herself wasn't all that positive. These symptoms were a little too much to be just a simple cold, but the girl didn't want to worry the boy, at least not until she was one-hundred percent certain that what she had was something to worry about or nothing at all.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Relief seemed to spread through him as Vianna assured him that she'd be fine, that she'd be back at the bookstore before he had time to miss her, bringing with her the news that it was nothing more than a minor cold. Ferris grinned at this, bringing his head back up to show her his newly acquired smile as he admired the sight of her, "That sounds good," he admitted, pecking her lips lovingly before getting up from the bed (the first to do so, which never ever happened in the Montgomery household), obviously a little anxious to get his gem to the doctor and back with the news that she was fine. He couldn't be completely calm until he knew for sure. "C'mon, gem, the sooner we get out of here, the sooner my heart can stop racing like this," he prompted her out of the bed with a weak chuckle, obviously not completely calmed by her reassurance. But how could he be? No one knew what the doctor would say. And that scared him to death.

Vianna beamed as Ferris seemed assured by her words, returning the peck kiss he then placed on her lips. She watched as he then got up from the bed, telling the girl that the sooner they got out of there, the sooner his heart could stop racing. At this, Vianna's crystal blue eyes widened and her jaw dropped, gasping with mock shock as she sat up on the bed. "My eyes must be deceiving me! Is Ferris Montgomery really up from the bed before his wife?! Without having spent even five minutes trying to delay her?!" asked Vianna playfully, then giggling lightly with amusement at this. She pulled the sheets off herself then and got up to her feet, flashing the boy who was already up a bright smile. "I love you so much," she said, leaning on her toes and placing a peck kiss on his lips. "I'll be right back," she added softly, giving him one last smile before disappearing into the bathroom to enjoy a warm shower.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris rolled his eyes playfully as Vianna teased him, suggesting that maybe her eyes were decieving her as she couldn't have really been seeing Ferris Montgomery up from the bed before his wife without having tried to delay her. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. Shocking," he replied with an amused smile, obviously having expected the teasing. It was only right. He watched as she got up and came over to him, announcing that she loved him, unexpectedly, something that got his heart to jump in his chest. He grinned on instinct, brown eyes admiring her before returning the sweet peck she placed on his lips, "I love you too," he murmured to her as he released her waist, watching as she went into the bathroom to take a shower. Ferris let out a soft sigh, running a hand through his curls before heading into the closet to get dressed and then down the stairs to feed their pets, having showered the night before.

Vianna had to cut her shower short as what had started off as a nice, warm shower turned unbearable only a few minutes later. The steam made the girl a little light-headed and she was beginning to feel somewhat nauseous again. What in the world was going on!? Since when did a warm shower make her feel like this? It was completely illogical and very highly unusual, and the girl didn't like it one bit. Suddenly, she found herself looking forward to that doctor's visit a little more than she already was. But there was something wrong with her. She couldn't lie to herself or deny it anymore, there was definitely something not right with her body.
Sighing, the young girl made her way out of the shower, splashing some cold water onto her face before making her way out into the bedroom. She changed into what she usually wore to the bookstore, which was the uniform t-shirt and jeans or shorts; today she wore jeans, the weather lately was too rainy for shorts. She dried her hair quickly with the help of a magic spell and then made her way downstairs, over to the kitchen. "Good morning, Fluffy," said Vianna as she caught sight of her precious fat squirrel standing by its little food bowl. "Amber, Turnip, Sporco, Dolce, Pigro..." she greeted the rest of their pets, each turning their little furry heads as they heard their name. She smiled warmly at them before turning to Ferris. "What would you like for breakfast today, Professor?"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris turned around as he heard Vianna come in, seeing her in her little Crossfield Books uniform and greeting her pets. Oh when on earth had it been okay for one person to be so attractive all the time?! But her...in that uniform... He was vaguely aware that she was asking about breakfast, but he only had eyes for her at the moment, his ears sort of tuning out as he picked her up and very easily set her on the counter top next to him. "That uniform..." he murmured to her with a playful smile on his pale face as he leaned towards her, his lanky arms wrapped around her still, his brown eyes locked to her blue ones until he glanced down at her outfit once more. "Looks far too good on you," he grumbled, as though she was wearing a full on ball gown rather than jeans and a t-shirt that read 'Crossfield Books' on it. But there was something about her wearing that shirt...

Vianna gave her husband an amused smile, raising an eyebrow slightly at him as he didn't answer her question but rather just stared at her for the next couple moments before suddenly picking her up and setting her on the countertop. Vianna giggled lightly at this, listening as then went on to share with her that her uniform looked far too good on her. At this, Vianna's eyebrows rose, pure amusement sparkling in her crystal blue eyes. "My t-shirt and jeans too good? If I had known this was what my Professor found to be 'attractive' then maybe I would have walked around in jeans and a t-shirt more often," said the girl with a light laugh, as if that wasn't usually her casual attire already, especially when she was heading outside for a broomride or felt like climbing trees or something. She then leaned in toward him, pecking his lips gently. "Though I must say that I like you in that uniform t-shirt as well. Probably more than I should," she confessed with a bit of a grin.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris grinned as he spotted the amusement in Vianna's expression, listening as she asked for confirmation that her jeans and tshirt were too good (to which he nodded) and suggested that she would've walked around in the outfit more often had she known that her Professor thought it was attractive. He let out a soft chuckle at this, obviously amused by her, and returned the gentle peck she placed to his lips lovingly, unable to help himself. "It's not just any t-shirt, it's that one," he murmured in reply, brown eyes sparkling at her for a moment until she spoke once more, confessing that she liked him in that uniform t-shirt more than she should've, a comment that got his eyebrows to raise slightly. "Oh yeah?" he replied playfully as he so often did before gently letting his lips find her own in a sweet kiss.

Vianna listened as Ferris shared with her that it wasn't just any t-shirt that he liked to see her in, but rather that specific t-shirt. She chuckled softly at this, and giggled lightly as he gave an 'oh yeah?' to her last words, something which was so typical of the boy. But before she could reply, his lips had found her own in a sweet kiss she was quick to return eagerly, but always very sweetly and lovingly. After a couple moments, she pulled back with a dazed sort of look on her lightly tanned face. "You still haven't told me what you want for breakfast, Professor," she reminded him softly, an amused smile curving her lips.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris loved the response he got from the girl before him, immediately enjoying the feel of her lips so sweet on his own for the few moments their kiss lasted. As she pulled back from him, his expression was just slightly dazed as it always seemed to be after a nice kiss with his wife, listening as she reminded him that he had yet to tell her what he wanted for breakfast. "Breakfast is overrated," he grumbled playfully, pecking her lips sweetly for a moment before letting out a soft chuckle. "Anything is good with me, but pancakes sound particularly wonderful," he admitted, though his smile fell a moment later. "Unless you don't want that, gem, I know your stomach hasn't been that accepting of things..." he murmured, already having gathered that some foods just made her nauseous after some thinking.

Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly with amusement as the boy before her decided that breakfast was overrated, before he then went on to add that pancakes sounded particularly wonderful. Smiling, Vianna nodded her head in agreement to this, listening as he then went on to add that they didn't have to have that if she didn't want to, that he was aware that her stomach hadn't been that accepting of things. At this, Vianna's eyebrows rose. It would never cease to amaze her how observant her husband could be at times, so often catching her completely off-guard. But she hadn't expected him to notice any patterns or anything, she didn't often get this sudden nausea around him, so she hadn't really expected him to notice much. "I think I'm just going to have some orange juice and toast for now," said the girl with a warm smile, honestly a little wary of eating too much or anything that wasn't very basic, in fears of that nauseous feeling returning. Giving her husband another warm smile, the girl slipped off the countertop and landed lightly on her feet, opening one of the cabinets and pulling out some plates to serve the food on. "So pancakes and toast it is then," she announced with a bright smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris could easily read the slight surprise on his wife's face, sheepish amusement falling into his expression as he realized how observant he must've been to notice this as they hadn't eaten all that much together since the night before. But he'd been thinking about this and figured that it must've been triggered by the food, something about the way it was hitting her stomach made her feel ill. He listened as she then decided on just having toast and orange juice and he gave a brief nod, wondering vaguely if she was eating something so basic in fear that the nausea would return. He knew his gem well, though he hardly realized that this vague guess was so accurate. "Sounds good," he replied with a warm smile, taking a seat at the table after making sure he couldn't be useful and greedily beginning to eat his breakfast when it was ready, almost anxious to get these next couple hours over with.

Vianna joined Ferris at the table once his pancakes and her toast were ready, eating quietly as he did, her mind not really there at the moment. She was thinking about her upcoming visit to the doctor's, wondering what the doctor would tell her, what it was that was wrong with her. She hoped dearly it was nothing serious, nothing to be too worried about. But... it couldn't be, right? The girl was active, she ate well, there really seemed to be no reason why her body would suddenly feel so fragile and easily upset. She sighed softly to herself without even realizing, only snapping out of thoughts once she'd finished her toast and orange juice. The girl turned her blue-eyed gaze to the boy before her then, flashing him a smile. "All ready, Professor?" she asked.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's mind seemed to drift in the same direction as his wife's in the silence, though he was unaware that they were thinking of the same things. What if it wasn't a cold? What if it was...really something bad? His brows furrowed slightly at the thought of it. No, it couldn't be bad. No, not his wife. She ate well, and she was active, and athletic, and...cute, and sweet, and beautiful, and smart, and perfect, and his wife. There couldn't be anything seriously wrong with her, no, he couldn't even bare to think of the thought. Before he could grow too entirely worried Vianna was asking if he was ready and he realized that he'd only eaten one pancake, all that time. "Uh...yeah," he quickly replied with a weak smile, sending their plates over to the sink with a flick of his wand before getting to his feet and taking her hand. "C'mon," he murmured, obvious worry in his expression though he seemed to be trying to hide it as they apparated into town, landing right in front of the bookstore, the doctor's office just a block or so away.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle as Ferris seemed to snap out of thoughts when she spoke to him, though she couldn't help being a little worried that it was her he had been thinking about - or more specifically, this mystery illness of hers. But before the young girl could worry about that too much, the boy had taken her hand and apparated the both of them to the very front of their bookstore. Vianna smiled warmly at the sight before turning to the boy beside her, her hand still wrapped up in his. "Do you think you can handle this whooole bookstore all on your own for next few hours, Professor?" she asked playfully, her smile bright before she gave a soft chuckle. "I'll see you in a bit, then?" she asked.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor A smile returned to Ferris's expression as Vianna spoke to him playfully, asking if he thought that he could handle the whole bookstore on his own for the next few hours. "Yeah, I think I'll manage," he replied with a warm smile on his pale face, admiring her expression before she suggested that she'd see him in a bit and he gave a brief nod. "Yes you will," he agreed, pressing a warm kiss to her cheek with a soft sigh. "You send me a note if you want me there, alright?" he said with slightly raised eyebrows before letting out another sigh and flashing her a weak smile. "I'll be here," he promised, kissing her forehead before reluctantly releasing her hand and beginning to unlock the shop.
