Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris let out a hearty laugh as Vianna spoke, recalling that Fluffy had stolen his bed and bitten Vince on his first day in their lives. "Yes, he wasn't ever shy," he murmured, glancing at Fluffy with a bit of admiration in his own eyes before returning his gaze to the new squirrel. As Vianna suggested the name 'Amber' because of the creature's eyes, a smile came onto Ferris's face. "Yes, I like that. Amber the squirrel," he said, letting out another small sigh of content. He turned his eyes to Vianna, looking at her more adoringly than he looked at either squirrel, going over her features with a warm smile.

Vianna grinned as Ferris approved of her suggestion and her eyes sparkled at her new little squirrel. "You heard that, Amber? That's your new name!" she told the squirrel, as if it could understand anything she was saying. Vianna then sat up slightly and took a couple sunflower seeds into her hand, placing them in Amber's cage once the baby squirrel was done eating her peanut. Amber waited for Vianna's hand to leave the cage before approaching the seeds, sniffing them first before taking one into her hands. But after finishing the first one, she left the others on the floor and returned to her place at the back of the cage, as far away from the others as possible. It seemed that not only was Amber shy, but she also wasn't as greedy with her food as the fat squirrel sitting on Vianna's knee was, already halfway through his fourth hazelnut.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris placed a warm kiss on Vianna's cheek after admiring her for a moment before turning back to Amber who was now hiding in the back corner of her cage. "Aww," the boy said with a small smile, releasing Vianna's waist so he could lean forward without accidently pushing her. He slowly reached his hand in the cage, letting it sit just in the entrance, "Hey Amber," the boy murmured very softly, his brown eyes smiling at the sight of her. "You can come out, no one's going to hurt you. Not even Turnip, she seems to be strictly against chasing rodents," he murmured with a soft chuckle.

Vianna watched as Ferris placed his hand in Amber's cage and addressed the small squirrel, assuring her that no one - not even Turnip - would hurt her. Vianna chuckled softly and watched the squirrel in the cage with sympathetic eyes as she seemed to sink further against the wall of the cage, the eyes that had earned her her name looking at Ferris's hand with terror. Vianna sighed. "I think it might take Amber days to get used to us," she said, a bit paranoid about the idea of even touching the baby squirrel just yet in fear that it might pass out or something out of the fright.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris felt bad as the little creature pressed back into the corner of her cage, obviously terrified of his hand. He quickly retrieved it, closing up the cage with a small sigh of his own as Vianna mentioned that it might take a while for Amber to get used to them. "Yeah, probably..." he agreed, "But maybe she'd just like to stay in her cage for a while...I just feel bad leaving her in that dusty old thing." He thought for a moment before getting to his feet and walking over to Vianna's bed with his wand. He took a pillow, duplicated it, and walked back over to Vianna with the duplicate. He then proceeded to shrink it down until it was the proper size for a large Barbie doll and took a seat next to his girlfriend once more. Maybe he was crazy, but he knew how much Fluffy liked pillows and was sure that Amber would appreciate something more comfortable to curl up on. And so, Ferris gently unlatched her cage once more and set the mini-pillow in the floor of it before closing it once more and leaning back into the couch.

Vianna watched Ferris leave her side with curious eyes before returning her gaze to Amber. She leaned forward so she could get a better look at the pretty little squirrel, smiling sympathetically at it. "Just you wait, Amber, a couple more days and you'll be as happy and carefree as Fluffy here," she told the squirrel who merely watched her, her frame shaking just very slightly. It was then that Ferris returned with a small pillow and Vianna watched as he set it inside Amber's cage. The young girl grinned at this and watched as Amber eyed the pillow warily before approaching it, sniffing it before looking up at the other two with curious eyes, as if asking what this new object was for.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched Amber approach the pillow with amused eyes, letting out a soft, barely audible chuckle as she looked back to them as though asking what it was for. "She'll figure it out," he murmured to himself before turning back to Vianna, wrapping his arm around her waist once more and gently pulling her back towards him. "So...Did you still want to go on that date or should we stay here to make sure Amber and Turnip are settled in?" he asked her softly, unsure of what their plans were. It was now getting closer to five thirty, as he had checked the clock on the wall moments before.

Vianna turned away from her new squirrel and to the boy beside her instead as he spoke, asking about their plans for the evening. It was then that she returned her gaze to Amber and watched the small squirrel with thoughtful eyes. "I'm not sure, I feel kind of bad leaving them..." she muttered, referring to all the animals they had to take care of now. "Unless we could take them with us, but that'd be rather troublesome," she added; it was one thing to carry Fluffy in her hand, but to carry a squirrel in one hand and a cage with another squirrel in the other seemed rather uncomfortable.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a weak smile as Vianna responded, mentioning that she felt bad leaving them, and if they took the animals with them it would be a little awkward. "Yeah, I understand," he said before releasing her and getting up from his seat. He headed over to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, a little thirsty very suddenly. It was a little disappointing not being able to go out (even though he himself didn't really want to leave the pets either), but a part of him had been looking forward to something to distract him from the upcoming day he was dreading the faster it came. He downed a glass of water in the kitchen before starting back into the living room with a weak smile planted on his face, unaware of how tired he looked.

Vianna chuckled softly to herself as the squirrel on her knee plopped down with his large belly up in the air, obviously quite full from everything he had just eaten. The young girl then took the small bowl into her hands and placed it inside Amber's cage so the squirrel could eat if she got hungry later on. It was then that Ferris returned from the kitchen and Vianna turned to him, her forehead creasing slightly at the tired look on his face. "Maybe you should take a nap, Professor," she suggested with a faint smile. "And... maybe later, when it gets darker outside, we can go stargaze for a bit."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris thought for a moment as she suggested he take a nap so later they could go stargazing for a bit. He smiled at the thought of this, walking over to her and taking the seat at her side, his lanky arm sneaking around her and gently pulling her towards himself. "I thought you didn't want to leave," he said with the softest of smiles playing at his lips, his brown eyes exposing his happiness with this idea though he didn't want to show it too much in case she decided she didn't want to go afterall.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris spoke, telling her he thought she didn't want to leave the room. "Well, it's one thing to go walking around town and another to lay on the grass somewhere out on the countryside... Fluffy, Turnip, and Amber could play in the grass while we stargaze, and that way we still get to go out and they don't get left behind," the young girl explained, though she was a bit hesitant about the idea of letting Amber out of her cage, since the squirrel would probably take that opportunity to flee. This made Vianna feel rather bad, that her squirrel would be so desperate to return home, but... The young girl's forehead creased slightly. "Professor... do you think we did wrong by taking Amber away from her home?" she asked, her gaze falling to the red squirrel who was now chewing on the pillow, but at seeing that it wasn't a snack, turned puzzled and began sniffing it again.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris smiled as Vianna pointed out that they'd be able to take the animals with them if they went out in the countryside, rather than marching around town somewhere. Instead of letting his mind fall to Amber as Vianna's did, it fell to the girl before him, admiring her features for a few moments until her brows furrowed and he waited for her to speak what she was thinking about. As she asked if they did wrong taking Amber away from her home, the boy's brows furrowed slightly, never having thought about it like that before. "Well, I'm not sure we did wrong," he said softly, "We didn't bring her somewhere any worse than where she was before, but...we did take her out of her own enviroment. That's what we did with Fluffy," he noted softly.

"Yeah, but Fluffy adapted so quickly," said Vianna, turning to Ferris with concern still taking over the hues of her blue eyes. "But Amber..." She turned away then and returned her gaze to the small squirrel, "I'm afraid she might never adapt or get used to us," she muttered rather miserably. She knew she was asking too much of the poor squirrel, asking for it to be happy and carefree around them who were still strangers to her, but she couldn't help worrying that the squirrel might never grow to like her. This idea completely horrified Vianna.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris watched as his girlfriend quickly grew more concerned, her saddened blue eyes set on Amber in her cage as she spoke, mentioning how Fluffy had adapted so quickly. As he listened to her go on, explain her fears that Amber may never grow comfortable around them, his eyebrows rose. "Vianna," he said with a soft chuckle, placing a hand beneath her chin and pulling her gaze back towards him. "You've had her for less than an hour, obviously she's not going to be so keen with us at the moment. Now I know Fluffy took very quickly to you, but Fluffy and Amber are different creatures. Not one is ever like another," he explained softly, deeply hoping he could keep his girlfriend from being upset over this. "Now you are about the best squirrel owner I have ever seen in my entire life. She's going to love you soon, I know it." Ferris paused to flash her a warm smile, "And if for some, crazy, unknown, mutant reason she doesn't after a few days, we'll let her go if that's what you really want."

Vianna's eyes left Amber as Ferris led her gaze over to him, explaining to her how it was still too soon for Amber to start getting used to them and how even though they were both squirrels, she and Fluffy were really completely different. Vianna gave a faint smile and nodded her head understandingly, listening as the boy then assured her that she was the best squirrel owner he had ever seen in his life. Flattered, the young girl's smile grew and she chuckled softly. "Sounds fair enough," she agreed with a nod as Ferris suggested they let Amber go if she still didn't like them after a few days. "I hope it doesn't have to come to that, though," the young girl added with another chuckle.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor "I'm sure it won't," Ferris replied, releasing her chin with a weak smile, "She'll love you in no time," he added before leaning back into the couch with a small sigh. His eyes travelled to the wall across from him and his mind started to wander. He couldn't help but think about his home, recall the stained yellow paint covered with spots of mudd, the paintings his mother worked so hard on fallen to the floor like they were nothing. Everything...Everything he had cherished and been around for 17 years simply stomped on like they were twigs on the roadside. This was the first time he had really gotten the chance to think back and recollect and his brown eyes turned saddened as he stared at the wall opposite them, unaware of how strange he must have appeared. He only snapped out of it minutes later as Turnip jumped up onto his lap suddenly, causing him to clear his throat and look down at her.

Vianna beamed up at the boy beside her as he assured her that Amber would love her in no time before his eyes left hers and his expression turned pensive. Vianna turned away and glanced down at Fluffy, an amused smile coming to her face at the sight of his large belly. She tapped it very gently and playfully with her index finger and giggled as Fluffy let out a yawn, stretching his small arms out. She was distracted by his unintentional cuteness for a few moments before turning back to Ferris only to find him just as thoughtful as last time, only snapping out of his trance when Turnip jumped to his lap. "What's on your mind, Professor?" she asked him curiously but a bit hesitantly.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris nearly jumped as Vianna addressed him, as though suddenly remembering he wasn't alone and he made a visible attempt to straighten up. As she asked what was on his mind, he remained silent for a moment before answering. "Home," he murmured gently, giving her a weak smile (as was his instinct) as he let out the only thing he could think to say that wouldn't involve him talking too much and revealing emotion he wasn't sure he wanted to deal with at the moment. He turned his brown eyes back to the Turnip, stroking her soft fur absentmindedly before she suddenly jumped up onto his shoulders and laid down, leaving him with nothing to fidget with. So he started fidgeting with his own hands, his brown eyes not leaving his lap as he tried to bring himself back to reality and stop thinking about things that were out of his control.

The smile that had come with Fluffy's everyday gestures faded from Vianna's face as Ferris shared with her that he was thinking about home. Her forehead creased just very slightly at this, well aware that these obviously weren't happy thoughts for the boy. "I'm sorry..." she muttered, referring to the kidnappers' invasion of his hometown. She was quiet for a couple moments before speaking again, "C'mon, you should be taking a nap right now, Professor," she said. "You can take my bed if you like, I'll stay here and watch over Amber, Fluffy, and Turnip."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor As Vianna apologized he gave a weak chuckle, "You didn't do it," he murmured to his lap, listening as she then mentioned that he needed to be napping, that she would watch over the animals. As much as he wanted to sleep, he had no desire to leave the only thing that was still bringing a smile to his face. He took Turnip and set her down on the floor before gently removing Fluffy from Vianna's knee, setting him on the table. He then gently pushed Vianna back onto the couch with himself, laying vertically on the cushions as his lanky arms wrapped around her and kept her snug to himself. "Please stay with me," was all he could murmur to her ear.

Fluffy was barely aware that he was being moved around, and as he was set on the coffee table, he rolled over lazily, his dark eyes half-closed. Vianna turned to the boy beside her as she now found herself laying instead of sitting on the couch and gave a weak, sympathetic smile as he asked her to stay with him. The young girl felt her heart sink at the sorrow hidden behind those words, wishing desperately she could bring them back in time and do things differently so they never ended up in this situation. "I'll always be here, Professor," she assured him. "You'll never be alone."

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris could only give a small smile at her words that sent a small current of relief through him, but he didn't have any words to explain that. He pressed a kiss to her cheek very softly before resting his chin on her shoulder and staring off into the fire for a few minutes. But, as his body was craving it, he couldn't help but start to doze off, his mind slowly falling into a deep abyss that only came with exhaustion.

Vianna smiled as Ferris's lips met her cheek. She was quiet for a few moments, losing herself in thoughts of the past day and everything the boy beside her had gone through. She began to feel a little guilty now, thinking that perhaps if she had never suggested they head back to his hometown, he wouldn't have had to deal with this so early on but rather later, when everything was resolved and he could officially return home. The girl sighed to herself, and it was then that she realized Ferris had grown rather quiet and his breathing had evened out. Realizing the boy had clearly fallen asleep, Vianna allowed her own eyes to close and get some needed rest.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris woke up three hours later, his brown eyes fluttering open randomly and he let out a sigh, attempting to roll over but realizing there was a girl in the way. He smiled slightly at the sight of her, resting back into the couch and watching Vianna for a moment until he remembered what he was thinking about before going to sleep. He didn't want to think about it anymore, he wanted to concentrate on the good things, as little as that was at the moment. But mainly, those things revolved around Vianna. So he blocked out his mind and simply focused on how she looked when she slept, the peaceful expression that fell onto her pretty features.
