Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna had begun to pace after a few minutes of waiting, trying to figure out in her mind what could have possibly caused her boyfriend to just randomly leave her like this without even telling her where he was going. She began considering summoning her broom and looking for him, but how would she find him if he was invisible? Vianna sighed, a mix of frustration and misery in her blue eyes as they remained glued to the sky, waiting for any sign of Ferris's return. And then it came. The boy had come to view from the clouds and soon enough, was landing only a few yards away from where she stood. On instinct, even though she wanted to scold him for giving her the scare of a lifetime, she smiled. A large, happy, joyful, and almost childlike smile. "You're back!" she announced, as if he wasn't aware of this. But after a moment of admiring the boy before her, Vianna's brows furrowed. "Where did you go, Professor? It-- it wasn't nice to just-- leave like that-- what if-- what if something happened to you! You should've told me something!" she told him, and though her tones were disapproving, her eyes were still sparkling at him with pure relief that he had returned unharmed.

Ferris couldn't help but chuckle as Vianna announced his return, grinning warmly at her until she continued, asking where he had gone and pointed out that something could've happened to him and he shouldn't have just left without telling her anything. His smile faded at this, realizing their situation and what just flying away like that could've meant. He gave her a sympathetic smile, "I'm sorry Vi, I didn't think very much," he admitted with a soft chuckle, arms still behind his back with whatever he was holding. "But you looked so excited, with those big blue eyes of yours and when I told y-you you couldn't have it, your expression...." he tralied off softly, "It just nearly broke my heart Vi," he admitted with a weak smile.

Vianna turned quiet and listened as Ferris explained himself, telling her that he hadn't thought much before mentioning that she looked excited, that it nearly broke his heart when he saw her expression when he told her that she couldn't have 'it'. The young girl blinked at him, the confusion returning to her like a wave. It took her a moment of reviewing his words in her mind to realize what he was talking about and she gave a small amused smile. "Are you talking about getting a second squirrel, Professor?" she asked him, but before he could answer, she went on, "Aw, Professor... I-- I understand that taking care of two squirrels can be a bit of work, especially when we're on the run like this... you don't have to feel bad about it. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel guilty back then," she said, now beginning to feel rather guilty herself. But then her brows furrowed once again - what did this have to do with Ferris just randomly disappearing and walking around with his hands behind his back now? "What... what did you do?" she asked a bit suspiciously now.

Ferris watched as she seemed to remember that he was talking about getting a second squirrel, nearly having forgotten that he didn't admit straight on what he was talking about. But it was then that she told him that she was aware of how much work it took to have two squirrel on the run, apologizing for making him feel guilty back then. "No, Vi, it's fine," he assured her before listening as she went on, asking what he did as it obviously dawned on her that he had done something. "Close your eyes and I'll surprise you," he said with a warm smile.

Vianna gave Ferris a bit of a confused, but mostly curious, look as he told her to close her, that he would surprise her. Always one to love surprises, Vianna couldn't hold back the smile that was coming to her lips as she allowed her eyelids to lower and cover her crystal blue eyes. "What is it?!" she asked, completely ignoring the purpose of having her eyes closed in the first place.

Ferris couldn't help but laugh lightly as she asked what it was the second her eyes closed, "I can't tell you, it's a surprise," he responded with a weak smile, still rather unsure about what he was giving her. But it was what she wanted, and he couldn't just not give it to her. And so, he brought out a small cage from behind his back, one that contained a small red squirrel with big curious amber eyes. He let out a small, nervous sigh, before saying, "Alright, you can open 'em." He held the black cage in his hands, the little red squirrel inside (that couldn't have been much older than Fluffy, if not the same age) shaking in confusion. He would've felt sorry for the little creature if he wasn't giving it to the best squirrel owner on the planet.

Vianna's eyes fluttered open the second Ferris told her she could open them, and she lowered her gaze to the cage in the boy's hands. Her smile faded and her expression turned from one of excited curiosity to complete, pure shock and surprise as her eyes widened and her jaw dropped just slightly. "Pro--Professor-- it's--" She paused for a moment, scanning the tiny creature in the cage with large eyes before announcing, "It's a squirrel!" as if Ferris wasn't aware of this already. Her eyes left the small creature in the cage and looked up at him instead with the largest and most excited of grins coming to her face. "You got me another squirrel!" she almost squealed before leaning over and placing her lips on his in a grateful kiss; she would have tackled him down, had her hands not been occupied with Fluffy, Turnip, and his jacket, so for now a kiss had to do.

Ferris watched with hesitant eyes as Vianna squealed out that he had gotten her a squirrel, and he nodded with a soft chuckle. He scanned her expression, letting out a small internal sigh as he realized this was why he went out of his way for her so much; flew so long just to find her a squirrel; it was that pretty face of hers lighting up just because of something he did for her. He grinned at the sight, completely thrilled with this reaction and knew that getting her this squirrel was worth it. But before he could say anything she had kissed him suddenly and he was kissing her back without thinking about it, keeping it short and sweet. He broke apart a moment later with a warm smile, "C'mon, let's go inside."

Vianna nodded her head eagerly as Ferris suggested they head back into the inn, not taking longer than half a second to burst through the double-doors of the inn, sprint up the old wooden stairs, and finally arrive to her room. Once there, she released Fluffy and very gently set Ferris's jacket on the couch so Turnip could climb out and make herself comfortable if she wished to do so. A millisecond later, the girl was back at the door eagerly taking her new pet into her hands.

Ferris couldn't help but smile at her eagerness, following her up the stairs with a weak smile to the old man at the front desk. Once they reached the room, he watched as she set down his jacket and Fluffy before turning back to him for her new squirrel. "Now, I don't know if it's a girl or boy, I didn't have enough time to figure that out. I was kind of trying to catch it," he explained, handing her the cage very gently before closing the door behind them. He gave a sigh before continuing, "The little creature gave me quite a gash too," he murmured, showing Vianna his left hand with had a large scratch from the knuckle of his pointer finger all the way to his wrist.

Vianna grinned as Ferris handed her the cage with her new beloved squirrel inside before showing her the scratch the animal had left on his hand. "Aw, Professor... You probably scared the poor thing senseless!" she said. The squirrel hadn't even spent a minute with Vianna yet and she was already showing signs of favoritism; this wasn't going to be good for poor Ferris. And so, beyond ecstatic at the moment, Vianna rushed over to the couch and sat down, setting the cage on her lap and taking a moment to examine the red baby squirrel inside before calling out to Fluffy, "Fluffy, come I want you to meet someone!" She smiled warmly at the new squirrel, her eyes sparkling adoringly at it.

Ferris shrugged softly as the girl mentioned that he had probably scared the poor squirrel senseless. Well, unfortunately that happened when one tried to catch a squirrel. He slowly followed after her, taking a seat on the couch next to her and Turnip immediately jumped onto his lap, sitting down. He started petting her absentmindedly with a small smile, watching as Vianna called Fluffy over to meet the new squirrel.

Fluffy didn't take long to join the others on the couch only a second after Vianna had called his name. He stood on a pillow beside her, looking curiously at the small squirrel in the cage resting on her lap. The tiny squirrel inside stared back at him curiously, wondering vaguely about the presence of this squirrel that roamed so freely around these humans the newcomer was not yet used to. Vianna opened the cage, but the squirrel inside took a few steps back deeper into the cage rather than come out, obviously still rather frightened by this sudden change in environment. Vianna smiled sympathetically at it but didn't try taking the squirrel into her hands, not wanting to scare the poor thing any more than it already was. And so, instead, she set the cage aside and got up, disappearing into the kitchen to find some food for it.

Ferris remained silent, watching the new squirrel's reactions to all of this with interest in his brown eyes. But he returned his gaze to Turnip as Vianna left, petting her with a small smile. Thinking about it, he was extraordinarily glad that his new feline friend didn't seem to want to follow what most cats would do and chase after the rodents that Vianna kept as pets. Instead, Turnip seemed completely at ease with their presence, seeming to not realize that they were supposed to be a chase for her. She flopped down in his lap, laying down and exposing her belly with a meow.

Vianna returned a moment later with a bowl filled with all different types of nuts in her hands. She sat down on the couch with a smile and took a hazelnut into her right hand to offer to her new squirrel. But then came Fluffy and snatched it greedily in the next second. Vianna's jaw dropped at this. "Fluffy!" she gasped. "You have to share with your new brother-- or sister!" she told the squirrel, as if it could understand. And then her forehead creased slightly; she hadn't really thought about this before. But Fluffy was so spoiled and used to getting what he wanted, how was she supposed to teach him how to share now? The girl let out a sigh and this time took a peanut, offering it to the squirrel hiding in its cage. "Where exactly did you find it, Professor?" she asked curiously, watching as the red squirrel's tail began to sway slowly.

Ferris's brows furrowed worriedly as Fluffy snatched the nut from Vianna greedily, a little worried that Fluffy wouldn't be taking to kindly to this. Uh oh, he hoped this would turn out well. He hoped his gut instinct wasn't right about getting another squirrel. He shook off these thoughts as Vianna addressed him, asking where he had found the squirrel. "Uh...Well, the other day when we were going to the waterfall, I noticed that in the forest around us there were a good number of squirrels. It was the closest place I could think of to get one," he explained, letting Turnip jump from his lap as he scooted a bit closer to Vianna to help with the new squirrel.

Vianna listened as Ferris explained to her that he had found the new squirrel in the forest near the waterfall, as there were a good number of squirrels there. "It's really beautiful," said the young girl with a smile. "I don't see these very often," she added, watching the squirrel with sparkling eyes, but at seeing that the small creature had no intentions of approaching her hand, Vianna set the peanut on the floor of the cage and pulled her hand back. As soon as it had some privacy, the squirrel took a couple steps toward the peanut and sniffed it before taking it into its tiny, furry hands.

Ferris listened as Vianna told him the new squirrel was very beautiful, that she didn't get to see these kinds of squirrels very often. The boy couldn't help but smile slightly at this, glad that he seemed to have done well according to her sparkling blue eyes. "So...You like her?" he asked softly, his eyes a little hesitant. "I-I think it's a girl, but..I'm not sure. She seems like a girl." Even though she seemed thrilled to have another squirrel, the boy was still a little worried that he had done something wrong. Maybe Fluffy wouldn't like it, or Vianna wouldn't be able to handle two squirrels...All of these thoughts were running though his mind but they stopped every time she looked at the new addition with those blue eyes of hers.

Vianna turned to Ferris with slightly raised eyebrows as he asked if she liked her new squirrel. "Like her? I love her!" she replied with a large smile. She listened as the boy then mentioned that the squirrel seemed to be a girl, and Vianna's smile widened slightly at this, happy to have variety between her two squirrels. But her gaze didn't leave the boy beside her to glance at the squirrel again, her eyes remained glued to him instead, analyzing his features and body language before asking, "Is something the matter, Professor?" Even if he didn't say anything about it, Vianna could read the hesitation in his eyes and it was beginning to catch her attention.

Ferris's smile widened as Vianna told him that she loved her new squirrel, letting out a small sigh as his own eyes turned to the red squirrel absentmindedly. But a moment later, Vianna asked if something was wrong and he looked back to her with a bit of surprise in his brown eyes, unaware that he was so transparent. "I'm just thinking," he said with a small smile, not wanting to randomly tell her that he was worried this would be a difficult transition. "I just want....everything to work out," he added with a shrug, his brown eyes seeming to be a little tired. Today had been fairly exhausting for him; what with going to visit his hometown and all of that emotional trauma, plus getting a cat, plus the doctor's visit, plus chasing a squirrel around for about a half hour or so. And now he had to worry about the squirrel and it's presence with Fluffy and Vianna. Luckily it seemed as though Vianna was loving the little creature, and with any luck Fluffy would too.

Vianna gave Ferris a faint smile as he explained to her that he just wanted everything to work out. "You worry too much, Professor," she told him. "Fluffy will get used to his new little friend and everything will continue normally, I'll teach him to be the best friend he could ever be," she assured the boy with a grin before chuckling softly and letting her gaze return to the tiny red squirrel eating the peanut in small bites, nothing like Fluffy's greedy way of eating. "I'm really happy, Professor," said the girl after a couple moments of silence, returning her gaze to Ferris and placing a kiss on his cheek. She let her chin rest on his shoulder for a moment and said, "You should be too... I like it when my Professor is smiling and laughing." She gave him another smile and pulled away, looking down at Fluffy as he stood on her knee and got started on a hazelnut, her hand stroking his brown fur gently.

Ferris couldn't help but smile as Vianna assured him that the new squirrel would fit in just fine with Fluffy. It was funny that he could believe it so much more by just hearing the words come out of those rosy lips of hers. As she told him she was really happy, kissing his cheek and resting her chin on his shoulder, his smile grew in size that he brought this to her, that he caused her happiness. It made all of it so much more worth it. It was then that Vianna mentioned that he should be happy too, that she liked it much more when her Professor was smiling and laughing. He felt so ridiculous, sitting there after having dated the girl for over two weeks now, feeling his heart jump the same way it always had as she called him 'her Professor'; something she must have said a thousand times before, but it always brought the same reaction from him. "I am happy," he told her, his arm gently wrapping around her slender waist and pulling her into his warm chest, "You're happy, so I'm happy. That's how it works." He gave her a smile.

Vianna turned to Ferris again and beamed as the boy told her he was happy, that if she was happy then he was happy too, that that was how it worked. She chuckled softly at this and let her head rest on his chest, though her gaze had lowered and was now watching the tiny red squirrel standing in its cage probably only halfway through her peanut. "What should we name her?" she asked after a few moments of silence, beginning to think of a name that would suit her new beloved pet.

Ferris's brown eyes roamed to the new squirrel as well after he had taken out his wand and turned on the fireplace. He sighed softly, leaning back into the couch as Vianna asked what they should name her. "I don't know, Vi," he said honestly, holding his girlfriend close to him as he gently stroked her arm, watching the red squirrel with amusement in his eyes. "She looks like she's a little more mellow then our Fluffy..." he observed with a soft smile.

Vianna smiled as Ferris pointed out that the new squirrel seemed a lot more mellow than Fluffy, amused by how accurate his observation was. "Yeah, Fluffy bit my brother and stole your bed on his very first day at your house, he's certainly not shy," she said, her gaze now lowering to Fluffy and watching him eat with admiring eyes, as if going around biting people and stealing their beds should be something the squirrel should be proud of. But then she returned her gaze to the new squirrel and she examined her curiously, admiring her pretty features. "Hmm, how about... Amber? Because of her eyes?" she suggested.
