Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

"Hmm..." Vianna watched Turnip with a warm smile before turning to Fluffy. But it seemed the squirrel hadn't noticed the cat's presence yet, as he sat down beside his bowl of nuts and distracted himself eating, completely oblivious to those around watching him. Vianna chuckled softly at her squirrel's distracted behaviour. "I think we'll have to wait 'til Fluffy's done eating," she said before beginning to clean up the fruit Fluffy hadn't eaten earlier.

Ferris laughed lightly as Vianna told him they'd probably have to wait until Fluffy was done eating, as it was so obvious that the small squirrel wouldn't pay attention to much while he was devouring his food. He nodded, turning to look at Vianna for a moment before gently pressing a kiss to her cheek randomly. He flashed her a smile before heading over to the couch with Turnip, setting her down on his lap where she looked up at her owner with a small 'meow'. He smiled at this, starting to pet her head gently which started to make the kitten pur. But a moment later, the kitten had jumped down onto the floor, curiously making her way around the room.

Vianna threw the bits of fruit away and began washing the small plate where they had once been served, smiling as Ferris randomly placed a kiss on her cheek. Once done, the young girl dried her hands and turned to her squirrel who merely glanced at her for a moment before returning his attention to the food. The young girl gave him an amused smile and pulled out another small bowl, filling it with water just in case her squirrel got thirsty. Once done with that, she walked out of the kitchen and over to the couch only to find Ferris petting his new kitten before Turnip jumped to the floor and began exploring her surroundings. Vianna remained standing and checked the clock on the wall for a second before her eyes widened - it was almost four already, where had the time gone?! Flying back and forth. She sat down by the cauldrons sitting on the coffee table and peeked into the 8-Hour Potion, waiting for the next fifteen minutes to pass so she could stir the potion. "Tomorrow's the big day, how're you feeling about it?" she asked the boy beside her.

Ferris watched as Vianna came over to the potion, asking how he was feeling about the upcoming day. He shrugged, his smile that came with watching Turnip fading slightly as he was reminded of the things they would face in just a few hours. "I don't...I don't know really Vi," he admitted with a weak smile, turning his brown eyes back to Turnip who was now heading towards the kitchen though his gaze lacked its normal sparkle. "I'm not particularly looking forward to it," he said with a weak chuckle, finally turning his eyes back to Vianna. "What about you?"

Vianna gave the boy beside her a sympathetic smile as he seemed rather hesitant about his feelings regarding the upcoming day when they would be facing the kidnappers. She listened as he told her he wasn't sure and wasn't particularly looking forward to it; the young girl nodded her head understandingly. As he then asked about her own feelings, she gave a slight shrug. "I think I was looking forward to it a little more before..." she said thoughtfully. "But I'm still a bit excited about it; if it all goes well, we'll be one step closer to returning to our normal lives. Or so I hope."

Ferris gave Vianna a better smile as she told him she was still a little excited as it would mean that they were one step closer to getting their normal lives back. "Yeah, that's true," he said with a small chuckle. He reached out and gently slipped his hand into hers, intwining their fingers as he looked over to check on Turnip who had jumped onto the counter. His eyes widened slightly at this but he remained seated, watching as his cat hesitantly approached the squirrel, starting to sniff at the top of his fluffy tail.

Vianna returned Ferris's smile and her gaze lowered over to their hands as he slipped his hand into hers, then intwining their fingers. She then looked away and up to the clock on the wall again, waiting for the smaller hand to reach the four so she could begin stirring the potion. Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, Fluffy was halfway through his peanut when he decided to throw it back into the bowl and try something different. His furry cheeks were large, almost like a hamster's, as the large bites he took from his food were a bit too much for him. But it was then that his fluffy tail met something, and he froze, completely still for a moment before turning only to find a large cat (large in his eyes, being only a baby squirrel) sniffing at it. Completely horrified, the squirrel sprinted from his original place and hit the bowl on the way, though not hard enough for it to fall over. His tiny heart still racing with fear, Fluffy scrambled down the counter and disappeared from the kitchen, rushing over to his owner looking like nothing more than a blur of brown fur.

Ferris's brown eyes widened even further as Fluffy turned around to see Turnip right next to him before darting off the counter and over to Vianna as fast as possible. Turnip, being a cat, watched the little rodent run off with curious eyes. It would appear that there was a longing within her green eyes, and instinct to chase; but she seemed to either give up or decide it wasn't worth it. She simply jumped off the counter and made her way at a slow pace over to Ferris, hopping up on his lap with an innocent expression. "Turnip, you've given Fluffy a good scare," he noted with a soft chuckle, starting to pet her.

Vianna nearly jumped as her squirrel suddenly hopped on to the couch and settled himself beside Vianna, between the armrest of the couch and a pillow, feeling a bit protected now that there were barriers around him. "Wha-- what happened?" asked Vianna, turning from her squirrel to Ferris with furrowed brows, obviously not having been watching the two creatures as they interacted. Puzzled, she turned back to Fluffy and took him gently into her hands, stroking the fur on his head with her thumb while her eyes examined his frightened expression with sympathy.

Ferris looked up from his kitten (who was now eyeing Fluffy with curious green eyes) over to Vianna as she asked what had happened. He gave a small smile, "Turnip jumped onto the counter, tried to sniff Fluffy, and the little guy turned around to see a cat staring back at him. He proceeded to jump off and run over to you with lightning speed," he explained with a hint of amusment in his voice, watching Vianna pet her little squirrel.

Vianna's eyebrows rose as Ferris explained to her what had happened between Fluffy and Turnip. "Aw, Fluffy..." she said with a faintly amused but mostly sympathetic smile as she addressed her beloved pet. "Turnip's not going to hurt you, she's your new friend," she added. Fluffy, almost as if he could actually understand what the girl was saying to him, turned his furry head in the kitten's direction, his dark eyes resting on her green ones for a moment before turning back to Vianna. His fluffy tail had now wrapped around himself, as if using it as a shield. Vianna chuckled softly. "It'll take them some time but they'll get used to each other, hopefully," she said.

Ferris gave a weak smile to Fluffy as he wrapped his tail around himself, listening as Vianna explained that they'd eventually get used to each other. "Yeah, I hope so," he said with a small chuckle before turning his brown eyes to the clock on the wall. "Vianna, it's time to stir the potion," he murmured softly before looking down at the kitten sitting in his lap, staring up at him with curious green eyes. "Well hello there Turnip," he said with a playful smile, beginning to pet her once more as he leaned back into the couch. Turnip took this opportunity to suddenly jump up onto his shoulder, walking behind his neck until she appeared on his other shoulder, laying down so that her face was visible on his right shoulder and her tail was swishing on his left. He laughed aloud at this, his brown eyes nearly sparkling at the kitten who was purring in his ear.

"Oh!" Vianna snapped out of distractions as Ferris reminded her it was time to stir the potion. She chuckled softly at the sight of Turnip resting on the boy's shoulders before letting Fluffy rest on her lap as she took the wooden spoon resting on the coffee table and began stirring the potion as the spells and potions book instructed. She finished about three minutes later, her eyes examining the liquid curiously for a moment before looking away.

Ferris was watching Vianna stir the potion for the few minutes she was, a smile slowly growing on his face. "Do you want to go out again tonight? Maybe go stargazing?" he asked softly, his hand once more finding its way over to hers and intwining their fingers. He stroked the back of her hand absentmindedly as he continued to speak, "We could get some dinner first, if you wanted...Or maybe just some ice cream would suffice?" He smiled warmly at her, "Maybe like another date..."

Vianna turned to Ferris as he took her hand and listened as the boy asked if she wanted to go out again later that night, perhaps go stargazing. She smiled at this, but before she could give a response, he continued speaking, suggesting they get dinner or ice cream first, make it like another date. Her eyebrows rose slightly at this but she was soon beaming, completely happy with this idea. "That sounds great, Professor," she said. "As long as I don't have to wear heels again..." She gave a weak chuckle, though their first date was one of her happiest memories.

Ferris let out another laugh as Vianna told him it sounded great though she didn't want to wear heels again. "Of course you don't have to Vi," he assured her with a smile, "You never had to for our first date," he added, "I prefer you short anyway," he added teasingly before pressing a kiss to her cheek and leaning back into the couch. "I think we should have another date before we have to go face everything tomorrow," he explained with a small shrug.

Vianna gave a soft chuckle and smiled as Ferris placed a kiss on her cheek before leaning back into the couch and mentioning they should have another date before facing the kidnappers the following day. "Yeah..." muttered the girl softly, her gaze falling to the squirrel sitting on her knee. "But... we'll have plenty of dates after tomorrow, too," she said, turning back to Ferris. She didn't want to think of the following day as the last day of their lives or something.

Ferris looked over at her as she spoke, mentioning that they'd still have more dates after tomorrow. He then realized that he had been speaking as though they would stop living by tomorrow without even realizing it. The boy gave a sheepish smile, diverting his gaze to the coffee table as he gave out a weak chuckle. "Of course we will," he agreed with a small nod, "I was just...Y'know...I meant that we should do something fun, to get our minds off of tomorrow," he quickly explained with a weak smile.

Vianna gave an amused smile as Ferris explained himself and she nodded. "We should," she said. "But, until night comes around... we should probably try to get other stuff done," the girl continued casually, "Like... I don't know, visiting a doctor, perhaps," she suggested, raising her eyebrows slightly at the boy beside her before chuckling softly, knowing he probably wouldn't be all up for this idea.

Ferris was watching his cat as she climbed down from his shoulders and onto his lap, listenng as Vianna suggested they get something else done while they had time to before they went out. His eyebrows rose, a little confused as he couldn't remember anything that needed to be done. But it was then that Vianna mentioned going to visit a doctor and his brown eyes shot back to her in an instant, a little widened. "I don't know, it-it's not really necessary. My back's feeling fine enough," he quickly said. "Well, it's a little darker in the bruises, but..I mean, it's not that bad."

Vianna rose an eyebrow at the boy beside her as he began going on about his back, telling her that it was fine and it wasn't really necessary to visit a doctor. She sighed; she would have liked to believe this, but she knew Ferris's opinion on this subject was often affected by the way he felt about doctors. "Are you really sure you want to continue avoiding the doctor like this, Professor?" she asked him.

At the question, Ferris hesitated, knowing what he should say and what he wanted to say. He remained silent for a moment before sighing, "I need to see a doctor," he muttered, his brown eyes finding the floor. "When I was flying today, I hunched my back over too much, so when I stood back up it hurt like...Well, it hurt really bad," he admitted, his lips slightly pursed as he looked away from the girl. Telling the truth wasn't exactly what he wanted to do at the moment, and seeing a doctor was the last thing he wanted right now. But he knew if he didn't go, he could end up with a really messed up back.

Vianna's eyes widened slightly at Ferris's confession. She hadn't been expecting it, and it only proved that his back was not yet fully healed as they had hoped. "C'mon," she muttered after a moment's silence, picking up the squirrel that had curled up on her knee with one hand before getting up to her feet and tugging gently at the boy's hand that was intwined with hers. "Let's go before you get lazy," she told him with a smile.

Ferris looked back up at the girl as she stood up and tugged at his hand, telling him they should leave before he got lazy. He couldn't help but smile at this and gave a brief nod, knowing it had to be done, and got to his feet as well. He was about to walk with her when there came a soft 'meow' from the couch. He turned around to see Turnip sitting there, staring up at the couple with confusion and curiosity in her eyes. "Oh, of course you should come too Turnip," the boy said with a small smile, using his free hand to pick her up and gently set her in the pocket of his jacket.

Vianna waited for Ferris to pick up his pet and set her in the pocket of his jacket before beginning to lead the way out of the room. She walked down the stairs, giving the old man at the front desk a friendly smile as they came to the tiny lobby. The young girl then approached the old man and asked him if he knew of any doctors in the small town, and the man turned a little thoughtful before replying, "We have a doctor here, yes, but I would recommend traveling to the city if your illness is serious and you need immediate treatment," said the old man, not really sure why the kids needed a doctor.
