Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

As soon as Vianna's fingers intwined with his own, Ferris grinned and he let out a chuckle, "Vianna, it's fine! They're fine," the boy said softly, not wanting to be detected but still obviously excited. He gazed around at all of the people that he knew so well, seemingly going around with their daily business just as happily as he had left them. "Thank God," he murmured softly more to himself than to the girl beside him as his brown eyes curiously examined the faces he knew better than anything else.

Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly as Ferris expressed his happiness at the sight that greeted them, obviously beyond relieved that everyone in the town and the town itself were alright. "Looks like we were worrying for nothing," she said with another chuckle, feeling much cheerier herself. "C'mon, do you want to go visit anyone? See how Mr. Nordoff is doing?" she asked with a smile.

Ferris's smile widened as Vianna suggested they start visiting people, "Yeah, let's go see what Mr. Nordoff's up to," he agreed, shrinking their brooms and shoving both quickly into his pocket before leading her down the streets he knew like the back of his hand. He looked around for a moment before spotting Nordoff's just a little ways down the road and smiled once more at the sight. He entered the place in the next couple minutes, slipping into the already open door. (Luckily, Mr. Nordoff had a habit of keeping his doors open on hot days.) Ferris gazed around at the place with a smile still planted on his invisible face, holding Vianna's hand tightly as they found their way to a corner in the front of the store, not wanting to get in anyone's way. It was then that Mr. Nordoff came out of the back room, starting to address one of his many customers at the front desk. Ferris turned to whisper in Vianna's ear, "I'll be right back. Stay here." He stole a kiss on her cheek before releasing her hand and slowly making his way over to the two men speaking. And that was when he heard a conversation he wasn't prepared for nor did he want to hear, though it was better than what they could've been talking about.

Vianna tried hard not to giggle as the pair snaked their way through the streets, moving swiftly as they tried to avoid bumping into any people. She followed Ferris into the familiar bookstore, holding on to his hand tightly and watching her steps carefully as she didn't want to end up accidentally bumping into the boy (which wouldn't be unusual at all for her). It was then that Ferris spoke, telling the girl to wait, that he would be right back. Vianna beamed as Ferris's invisible lips found her cheek and nodded her head, though of course he couldn't see this, so she spoke, "Alright." Not being able to watch the boy go as she usually did, Vianna watched the passing customers instead, glancing in Mr. Nordoff's direction a moment later.

Ferris returned about five minutes later, his face substantially saddened and confused though it was invisible to everyone around him. He returned to the spot he had left Vianna and outstretched a hand to try and find her, meeting the side of her waist. "Vi, it's me," he murmured, finding her hand. "C'mon, let's go somewhere else," he said softly before leading her out of the bookstore and down the street at a less than cautious pace.

Vianna beamed once again as Ferris's hand found her waist and he announced his return. She was just about to ask what he had been up to when the boy then suggested they go somewhere else. Her brows furrowed slightly at this abrupt change of plans and followed his lead out of the bookstore and down the street. She was quiet for a moment, looking completely puzzled though this was obviously impossible to see. It was hard to tell when she couldn't see the boy's face, but Vianna felt pretty sure he hadn't sounded necessarily chipper a moment ago, and she was able to associate his earlier tone with an expressionless face, one that didn't smile but didn't necessarily say that he was upset. "Professor..." she said after a moment's silence. "Is everything alright?" she asked him.

Ferris let out a small sigh as Vianna asked if everything was alright, "Hold on," he murmured softly, not wanting to speak too much when anyone else walking down the street could hear them. He looked around before pulling her over into a deserted, small alleyway and standing next to one of the brick walls. "I was listening to Mr. Nordoff talk with someone in the store," he started, still speaking softly as he looked into the air across from him. "A-And they were talking about some weird stuff that's been going on...Weird things happening, new people in town that aren't really friendly..." he trailed off for a moment. "Someone's been hurt," he added with a bit more desperation in his voice, "Not badly but...Just hurt, out of nowhere. And no one knows why."

Vianna's brows furrowed slightly in mild confusion as she was suddenly pulled over into a deserted alleyway, not really having expected this sudden change in direction. She looked around with puzzled eyes but grew still as Ferris's voice met her ears, and she listened as he explained what he had heard Mr. Nordoff and a customer talk about. Her eyes widened at this, pure horror that could not be seen filling their blue colour. "What... but... do you think...?" she knew she didn't have to actually say kidnappers for the boy to understand who she was referring to. "That's terrible! But-- maybe-- maybe we can do something? We should look for these people - just to know who they are, what they want. They won't be able to see us if we're invisible," said the girl in a rather rushed voice, her words almost tripping on one another as she was suddenly filled with anxiety, with the need to do something.

"Vi, we know who they are," Ferris replied, his voice filled with a slight hopelessness. "It's the kidnappers...They've come here. I don't know exactly what they want but they're just trying to mess with my town," he said, his mind racing as he thought over all of this, "I don't think they'd hurt everyone, but they'll mess with a few of them. No doubt to bait me or something..." he trailed off. "Mr. Nordoff said that nothing horrible had been happening, said that'd been the upside to it, just that weird things had been happening." He paused, "I don't know, it's almost like their sizing up the town, trying to figure out if it's worth doing something to them."

Vianna felt herself shrink in size as Ferris stated what should have been obvious to her; that these people were the kidnappers. She had been hoping that wouldn't be the case, though. She listened quietly as he went on, her eyes finding the ground unusually interesting, and sighed. At least no one had been seriously hurt... but that didn't mean something worse couldn't happen. The young girl's forehead creased slightly at this thought. "So what do we do? Can we do anything?" she asked after a few moments of silence, her voice much lower and less enthusiastic than before.

Ferris remained silent for a couple moments as Vianna asked if it was possible to do anything and he let out a sigh, "I honestly don't know Vi," he admitted with a frown on his face that she couldn't see. "But I know that I can't be seen here," he added with a humorless chuckle. "If they see me here, or get any sign that I was here, they'll know that I have a strong connection to my town, that I'm missing it....It gives them a hint that I'd care enough to fight for it..." he trailed off.

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris mentioned that he couldn't be seen in the small town, well aware of the risk this could put his hometown in. The young girl was quiet for a few moments before speaking again, "We have around two hours before we have to head back to the inn." She paused for a moment after this statement. "Do you really want to head back now?" she asked the invisible boy before her. "I know... that it's a lot less exciting now, after learning this, but... you might not get to come back for a while."

Ferris thought for a few moments as she asked if he really wanted to go back right now, even though it was substantially less exciting. "No...I want to stay," he finally decided though his voice seemed a little more heavy. "I want to go see my house, I need to talk to Julia, I had a list..." he murmured a little sadly, "I-I wanted to do a few things while I was here," he explained softly, his voice slowly revealing his true worry and shock about everything he had just heard as it got weaker and weaker.

Vianna gave a small sympathetic smile at nothing specific, though it was meant for the boy who couldn't necessarily see it. "We'll go see your house, talk to Julia, and get all the things in your list done before going, then," the young girl said softly. She was quiet after this as her free hand searched the air, accidentally meeting one of Ferris's shoulders. She used it as a starting point to find his face, placing a hand on one of his cheeks for guidance while her lips met the other. She pulled back with a smile he couldn't see and began leading the way out of the dark alleyway. She prayed to God the kidnappers hadn't done anything to Ferris's house, or else this trip would only go from bad to worse.

Ferris could only give a weak smile as Vianna kissed his cheek, letting out a small sigh as she told him they would get all of the things on his list done before they left. Just as they were about to leave the alley, the boy who was still a little shaken pulled Vianna back to him and hugged her to himself. His lanky arms wrapped around her and he knew her well enough to know where to rest his head on her shoulder without having to find it with his hand first. He kept her there for a long few moments, silently keeping her close and warm to himself before finally releasing himself, "Okay," he murmured.

Vianna's eyes widened slightly as she was suddenly pulled back into the dark alleyway. But a warm smile came to her face as Ferris wrapped his arms around her in a hug. The young girl returned the gesture, hugging him tightly and feeling a bit surprised she didn't do this more often, as it really felt warm and comforting to hold him tightly. As he then pulled away and murmured an 'okay', she chuckled softly. "It'll be alright, Professor, we'll get the kidnappers before they even think of doing anything worse," she said lightly, though she knew this wouldn't be enough to make the boy feel better. But she really hoped no one he was really close to had been hurt, she didn't want him to have more reason to worry and be completely terrified.

"Yeah, I hope so," the boy said with a small smile before he started out of the alleyway, his hand intwined with hers as they walked close together in order to avoid running into anyone accidently. "I need to see Julia first," he decided softly, starting to head towards the next block where the coffee shop was situated at the corner. "I wrote her a note, but I can't let her know that I was here....I'll make it look like I wrote it a while ago and she just now found it," he decided as they neared the coffee shop. He stopped just outside of it, across the street as he searched his pockets for the note he had written just a few days ago. "Ah, here it is," he said with a small sigh.

Vianna glanced around distractedly, the way she so often did, as they walked. This was definitely a more entertaining sight than the old ghost town they had been staying at; there were people talking and kids running around. She turned to Ferris - or rather, to the sound of his voice - as he spoke, telling her that he needed to give Julia a note he had written, though he had to make it seem like it had been written a while ago and she had just now found it. Vianna nodded understandingly at this though he couldn't see it, and asked curiously, "How are you going to make it seem that way?"

"I don't know," he admitted as the girl at his side asked how he was going to make it seem as though the note had been there for a while. "I have a brief idea," he said before releasing her hand. "Vi, I'll be back in a couple minutes. Please, stay here," Ferris said softly, his hands coming up to hold her jaw on either side of her face. He smiled slightly at her though she couldn't see. "By the way, you're the best for coming with me like this," he added a little more softly before pressing his lips to hers for a couple moments. He broke apart a moment later with a soft chuckle as he released her and started over to the coffee shop.

Vianna rose her eyebrows slightly as Ferris shared that he had an idea, but just as she was about to ask him about it, the boy had released her hand. There was panic in her eyes for a very brief half a second before he spoke, asking her to wait for him and that he'd be back in a couple minutes. Vianna nodded, momentarily forgetting that he couldn't see this, before his hands suddenly met her jaw. She listened as he continued speaking and chuckled softly at his words. "It's no problem, Prof--" but before she could finish that reply, his lips were meeting hers; she hadn't seen it coming so it caught her a bit off-guard but she returned the kiss gently before the boy released her and left her side.

Ferris entered the coffee shop after someone else had opened the door so as to better remain undetected, and stood in the corner for a few moments as he tried to devise his plan. There was Julia, serving a customer with that fake smile he knew very well and he gave a weak smile. Hmm....There had to be a way to do this so she got the note. He very carefully and quietly made his way behind the counter, dodging a couple employees before setting his note just barely under the tip jar. It read, 'To Julia, from Curlyhead' on it and should've been easily visible once someone looked at the bottom of the tip jar. He quickly retreated back to his corner of the store, and after watching for a few minutes, Julia returned behind the counter and seemed to catch onto the small note sticking out at her. The boy watched as she picked it up curiously before opening it and reading it, a smile slowly growing on her face. Ferris, satisfied that his plan had worked, quickly went back outside and made his way back over to Vianna. "Done," he said with a small ounce of pride in his voice, his hand coming out to find her waist once more.

Vianna was obediently standing where Ferris had left her, watching the people pass by distractedly before something caught her attention. One of the trees on the sidewalk had a small, brown furry creature climbing from branch to branch at a lightning-like speed. A squirrel! Vianna grinned at the sight and felt tempted to go get a closer look and try catching it - if she was invisible, surely she'd have a chance! But before she could even take a step away from her current spot, a familiar voice came. She turned away from the squirrel and to the source of it and smiled. "How'd it go?" she asked.

"Really well," the boy answere with a smile, "She got it, and didn't even seem suspicious, just...happy." Ferris let out a soft chuckle, obviously a little happy that things with his old friend were patched up more than before. He let out a sigh, his lanky arm sneaking around her waist and pulling her to his side, "She seems much better now," he said with a shrug, though there was still a bit of reservedness to his voice. "I don't know if I've entirely forgiven her yet, but...we're better."

Vianna's smile widened slightly as Ferris let her know that Julia had received his note and the young girl seemed to be doing well. "I'm glad," she said, but her smile faded slightly as he went on, mentioning he wasn't sure if he had entirely forgiven her yet. "Professor, you should know better than to hold grudges! Weren't you the same Professor that made Vince and I make up this morning?" she teased with mock disbelief in her voice before chuckling softly. "Alright, what's next on your agenda?"

Ferris gave a small sigh as Vianna told him he shouldn't be holding grudges, "Yeah, well she deserves one," he muttered a little bitterly. "She kissed me right in front of you!" he added with a shake of his head. "Aren't you angry with her?" he asked the girl he was holding next to him, his voice a little softer as he ignored her last question.
