Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris let out another small, sheepish laugh as the girl asked when he had stopped working there. "Well, I hadn't really, yet...You see, I work there every summer. That was the plan for this summer, once I got back from camp..." he trailed off, thinking about the odds of that happening now. It became one of those moments when he got a longing pain in his stomach, when he just really wished that they could've had a normal camp experience where they spent the days lazing around at camp and he would be able to go back to Nordoff's in the summer. But now the future was a little more hazy, and that forced his smile to deflate slightly.

Vianna's smile faded slightly as Ferris answered her question, and without her being aware of it, her forehead had begun to crease as well. She didn't like that expression that was coming to the boy's face, and it bothered her that his smile seemed to fade away. She then leaned over a bit and placed a kiss on his cheek. "I doubt you'd have much free time to continue working there once you start at the ministry, though," she said, "But once this is all over you can go back and help Mr. Nordoff around, no?"

Ferris gave a halfhearted smile to Vianna as she kissed his cheek, listening as she mentioned that after all of this was over, he would be able to go back and help Mr. Nordoff. "Yeah, I hope so," he said softly. These were the moments where the boy accidentally let slip the worries he had running through his mind; the number of things that he hated to think about. Would Mr. Nordoff even be there when he got back? Was he horrible for even thinking that? But honestly, how low would the kidnappers stoop if they really wanted to get to him?

Vianna gave Ferris a sympathetic look and turned away, resting her head on his pale chest. "We'll all get to go back home soon," she said, absentmindedly gazing at her pet squirrel who was a few feet away digging on the ground with his paws. "Soon there will be no more kidnappers to worry about," she added, feeling pretty confident about this. But then her brows furrowed slightly. Why were the kidnappers chasing after Ned and Ferris anyway? What was it that the boys had that the kidnappers wanted so bad? Vianna turned thoughtful for a moment, but when she failed to figure this out on her own, she lifted herself up slightly on one elbow and turned to the boy beside her. "Professor, what... what is it that the kidnappers wanted from you that night they took you and Ned away? Did they ever say?"

Ferris listened as Vianna told him that soon there would be no more kidnappers to worry about, that they'd get back home soon. "I hope so," he said with a small smile. He remained silent for a couple moments, his own eyes roaming to Fluffy as Vianna asked what exactly the kidnappers wanted from him and Ned. He shrugged, "I don't know," he said with a small sigh, "They just said...That we both shared something in common that they wanted or needed us for..or something." He gave a small frown, "But...Now Ned's with Perenelli, and all they need is me." The boy paused for a moment before trying to continue but stopping himself.

Vianna's brows furrowed further as Ferris explained to her what the kidnappers had told them that one night a little over a week ago. She'd heard this before, and she knew she had asked the same question before, but she was still confused and none of it still made any sense to her. "But... I don't understand," she muttered, pure confusion and a hint of frustration in her blue eyes. "Could it be something material? I mean... what else could they take from you? Do you guys know some big, life-threatening secret they don't want you to let out or something?" she said.

Ferris let out a sigh as Vianna tried to figure out what the kidnappers wanted, and he shrugged, "I don't have any big secret that I'm aware of. Well, anything that they'd be interested in." He let out a soft chuckle, but he thought for a moment, "I don't know...It has to be something that we are both in possession of....Maybe...I don't know," his brows had furrowed, his mind obviously not wanting to think about this at the moment.

Vianna listened quietly to the boy's response and nodded her head understandingly, well aware that this was all probably just as confusing to Ferris as it was to her. The girl then laid back down on the ground, letting her head rest on the soft, green grass and turning her gaze to the sky up above them. "You know what this place reminds me of?" she asked suddenly after a few moments of silence, a faint smile growing on her face as she turned her head to the boy beside her. "Of that secret place you showed me when we were staying at your house... It didn't have a waterfall or a lake, but... the way they're both kind of secluded yet so beautiful makes me connect them to one another," she explained, her smile widening.

Ferris looked over to her as she spoke, mentioning how this setting reminded her of the secret place he had shown her in his hometown. "Yeah, I guess..." he said with a small smile, enjoying the smile that was on Vianna's face at the moment. After a few moments of silence, he spoke once more, "I miss it, Vi," he told her a little more softly. "A lot. But I feel like I can't go back there now or anytime soon. I feel like, I'm a danger to everyone. But I miss them so badly."

Vianna's smile faded and her forehead began to crease once again as Ferris spoke in softer tones, sharing with her how much he missed his hometown. It crushed her heart to hear the thoughts he usually kept to himself, listening as he told her that he felt like he couldn't go back there anytime soon, like he was a danger to everyone. She was quiet for a moment, feeling horribly helpless at the moment because she couldn't just hop on a broom and take the boy back home, to all the people who he had grown up with... or could she? Vianna blinked, her expression turning blank for a second. "What if we went there? Just for a second, we won't even get off the broom. We'll just-- oh!" And then she sat up abruptly. "The book! The spells book! It had an invisibility spell, remember I told you about it? Maybe we can use it to check up on the town, see how everything's going. No one will see us or know we were there," said Vianna, her words coming out a bit rushed as she was suddenly flooded with ideas, with hopes.

Ferris was simply staring at the ground in silence when Vianna suddenly suggested that they go there, and not even get off the broom, but before she could finish that thought, she'd had another one. He listened as she suggested they go with the invisibility spell, just to check up on everyone, and the boy's face brightened up with a grin. "That sounds...amazing, Vi. You have no idea," he said with a soft chuckle, but the smile faded slightly a moment later. "But...It's about a three hour broom ride, and we have to stir the potion..." he trailed off. "You know what? Why don't...Why don't we go tomorrow? Make a day trip out of it, instead of rushing it?" he asked her with a warm smile, obviously still thrilled with the idea.

Vianna couldn't help but beam as a grin came to Ferris's face, happy that she could lift the boy's spirits. She listened as he shared his approval of her idea before suggesting that they go the following day instead, since they still had to stir the potion and his hometown was a three hour broom ride away. Still smiling, the girl nodded her head. "Alright, then. As soon as I'm done stirring the potion at eight o'clock tomorrow morning, we're getting started on that three hour ride," she agreed, quite excited about this idea. She just hoped that when they got there they would find the town still normal and carefree, it would only be traumatizing to take Ferris back there if there was something wrong or the residents had been hurt.

Ferris couldn't wipe the grin off his face, his brown eyes sparkling as he pulled Vianna into him once more; unable to help but think that she was a little mastermind. "You're a genius gem," he told her with a warm smile, placing a kiss to her cheek as he rolled over slightly, laying on his back with her slightly on top of him. The idea of going back there, of just seeing everyone, was enough to make his nerves go down. He was so thrilled to see everyone again, just to know that they were alright, that he hadn't ruined everything for them.

Vianna grinned as Ferris called her a genius, resting her head on his pale chest as he pulled her back into him. The young girl watched the waterfall absentmindedly with sparkling eyes, feeling quite happy with the way the mood had changed, how now they were both filled with hope rather than horror. Fluffy eventually came to join the couple, climbing on to Ferris as well and sitting down on the boy's stomach and close to Vianna's resting head. She smiled warmly at the sight of the tiny squirrel who so often liked to use her boyfriend as a pillow and began petting his furry little head gently.

Ferris was completely relaxed, his right hand gently stroking Vianna's slightly damp long brown hair as he gazed over at the running waterfall. At the feel of Fluffy's little paws climbing up onto his bare chest, he let out a soft chuckle, turning his brown eyes to see Vianna petting her squirrel with admiring eyes, and a warm smile crossed his features. He pressed a kiss to her forehead before returning his eyes to the waterfall and lake. It was such a nice place, completely secluded and peaceful, and it was just them.

Vianna smiled as Ferris's lips met her forehead and her hand continued to absentmindedly pet the spoiled little squirrel that sat lazily on Ferris's stomach. She was quiet for a few moments, merely watching her beloved pet squirrel before letting out a yawn, feeling a bit tired from all the cliff diving and swimming around the lake. Her mind was no longer in the present, though; she had lost herself in thoughts of what was to come. Of how life would be like once they finally got rid of the kidnappers, once everything could go back to normal. They were happy thoughts; or rather, happy dreams and hopes.

Ferris's mind went to a similar place, his thoughts revolving around what would happen if they got out of this difficult situation. Things would be good. Better then they were now, anyway, and he would have Vianna. Yes, Vianna...And they wouldn't have to worry about kidnappers, they could go back to their normal lives. Except what was once Ferris's normal life would be changed after they figured out the situation with the kidnappers, as he would have Vianna in it. And that changed everything to be much, much better.

Vianna was quiet for a few moments, lost in her cloud of happy dreams and thoughts before suddenly snapping back to reality. She sat up, leaning on one elbow, and turned to the boy beside her with a smile. She merely looked at him for a couple brief seconds before randomly leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek for no real specific reason. "Let's make a promise, Professor," she said suddenly, a smile still on her face. "Let's promise that no matter how busy we may get in the future, we will always make time to go cliff-diving," she said with a soft chuckle. "And to stargaze, roast marshmallows, and run laps around lakes," she added, listing all the different things they usually did that had become like a tradition to them (except for the last one, she added that one mostly to tease the boy).

Ferris was watching the waterfall peacefully when Vianna suddenly sat up from her comfortable position on his chest, leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek. This brought a warm smile to the boy's face, not having expected it, but enjoying the surprise kisses. It was then that she suggested they make a promise, a promise to do all of the traditions they did now no matter how busy they got in the future. The boy smiled at her in amusement for a moment, his sparkling brown eyes searching her blue ones before he nodded. "That sounds like a good promise to me," Ferris agreed, rather happy at the prospect.

Vianna grinned as Ferris agreed to her promise. "Good! Then tomorrow you owe me twenty laps around the lake!" she said with all the mischief in the world sparkling in her devious blue eyes before she returned to her original position, resting her head on Ferris's chest once again as if nothing had just happened and she had just been laying there uninterrupted all along.

"Hey, hey!" the boy said, his jaw dropping playfully as Vianna told him he needed to do twenty laps around the lake tomorrow. "That's not fair!" he quickly added, pulling the girl up a little more so he could look at her face, a playful glare on his features. "All of our traditions will be kept, except for the running laps. That will be a very occasional occurence," Ferris determined with a satisified smile.

Vianna fell into a fit of giggles as Ferris seemed to realize what she had just said and told her that running laps would only be a very occasional occurrence. "Alright, fine, you can have your way on that one," she said with mock disappointment, though she couldn't wipe the amusement off her features. "My lazy Professor!" she accused with a playful grin. "I'm guessing you'd rather stay in bed 'til early afternoon watching movies and eating, then?" she asked, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Ferris grinned at Vianna as she told him he had won that one, before listening as she called him her lazy Professor. He let out a chuckle at that, listening as she guessed that he would rather be in bed 'til early afternoon eating and watching movies. He smiled at this, "Only if you're there," he contradicted, his smile widening to reveal his dimples. He then took this opportunity to plant a gentle kiss on Vianna's rosy lips which were mere inches away from his own.

Vianna beamed and returned Ferris's kiss with a smile still on her lips. As she pulled back, she watched the boy for a brief moment, taking in his features before speaking, "So does that mean you'd only be lazy if I'm around?" she asked, her eyebrows raising slightly. "Merlin... first I made you late to class when we were at camp, then I talked you into diving cliffs... I'm not so sure I'm such a good influence after all," she said with mock concern before laughing lightly.

"Nooo," the boy said with a soft chuckle as Vianna suggested that she was a bad influence on him, "You're the best influence I've ever had," Ferris added with a slight smile on his face. But really, he wasn't joking. Before Vianna, he didn't have that much that he was ever really proud of or happy about besides grades and his hometown. But now that he had Vianna, there were a thousand more things to do, to see, to be happy about. And it was all because of her. He pressed a small kiss to her cheek a moment later.
