Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Vianna's brows furrowed further and she gave Ferris a disapproving look as he pointed out that even if she didn't ask to learn about his nicknames, she still used them against him and she had control over that. The young girl opened her mouth to reply, to contradict him in some way, but she found herself at a loss for words, nothing to excuse her behaviour coming to mind. So she shut her mouth close and looked away with a slight frown on her face, though she was soon distracted as Ferris's hand came to tuck her hair back, and she smiled faintly at his words. "I'm glad you think so," she told him, returning her gaze to him.

"I do think so," he said with another warm smile in her direction. But thinking about her home town reminded him about her communication with her parents. "Have you heard anything else from your mum and dad?" Ferris asked her a little more softly, his hand returning to take one of hers, and rest it atop his chest as he stared up at those blue eyes he knew all too well.

Vianna's smile faded slightly as Ferris brought up the subject of her parents, asking if she had heard from them lately. She shook her head in response. "No, Victor's the only one that's been talking with them and I haven't seen much of him lately," she replied, her brows beginning to furrow just slightly as she thought about this. "I don't know if he's even told them about what we're doing... I'm sure we would've heard a howler from Mum days ago if he had," she added thoughtfully.

Ferris frowned as Vianna explained that she hadn't heard anything more from her parents, as Victor was the only one still talking with them, and he probably hadn't told them what their plans were. He gave her a weak smile, "I'm sure you'll get to see them soon, Vi," he said softly, pressing a warm kiss to the back of her hand. "In no time at all."

Vianna gave Ferris a weak smile as the boy assured her she would get to see her parents soon. She didn't doubt this, and strongly believed it herself, but it still upset her that she hadn't had a chance to see them or at least hear their voices since this whole deal with the kidnappers started. Seeing them or hearing them if even for just one brief moment, would definitely lift the girl's spirits, make her feel safer and more at ease. But she pushed these thoughts aside, not wanting to suddenly start feeling down when the day had been going so well so far. "I think they'll like you, whenever they get to meet you," she said with a brighter smile. "They're very friendly, nothing at all like my brothers," she added with a soft chuckle.

Ferris watched as she fell into a small, thoughtful silence and gave her a weak smile, wishing he could do something to help her see her parents sooner rather than later. But as she spoke, telling him that she thought they'd like him, he couldn't help but smile. It was a bit of a relief to him, to be honest, as she explained that her parents were nothing like her older brothers. "I'd really like to meet them," he added softly.

Vianna smiled at Ferris's response. "You will some day," she told him, merely watching the boy for a moment before leaning over and placing a kiss on his lips and pulling back a couple seconds later. She then ripped her gaze away from him to absentmindedly admire the waterfall while her hand continued playing with his wet hair.

Ferris gently returned the kiss on the lips which she surprisingly placed, watching her with a small smile on his face as she broke away and turned her attention to the waterfall. His attention, however, was still fixed on the beauty who was currently running her fingers through his damp hair, a mix of admiration and sadness in his eyes as he watched her. He wanted to bring her her parents, really badly, but he knew he had no means of doing so. Not now, anyway. And so, Ferris turned his attention to the sky above them, gazing at the clouds calmly, his breathing evened.

Vianna was quiet for a few more moments, her gaze distant and her expression thoughtful. But she was snapped out of thoughts at the sight of a fluffy tail making its way through the grass and over to the edge of the lake. Fluffy leaned over and took a few sips from the water before turning to the other two. He watched them for a second, as if considering whether he should visit them or not, before running over to them in that ridiculous speed that was so natural of squirrels. "Ooh, look who has decided to join us!" said Vianna playfully, raising her eyebrows slightly at the squirrel. Fluffy merely sat down near them with a hazelnut in his hands, and began chewing at it.

Ferris looked away from the sky as Vianna suddenly broke their silence, mentioning someone joining them. Assuming that it was Fluffy, the boy turned his head towards the grass and saw a fluffy little creature eating a hazelnut just a couple feet away from them. He let out a soft chuckle, rather amused at the sight. "Fluff, you're starting to look like a real squirrel," he said approvingly, a warm smile on his features.

Fluffy looked up from his hazelnut as he was addressed, watching Ferris for a brief second before returning his attention to the tasty new snack in his tiny hands. Vianna smiled with amusement at the sight of her baby squirrel. "I never even dreamed I'd actually have a squirrel for a pet," she said absentmindedly, though pleased that it had turned out to be this way. "They're so hard to catch... how were you able to get him, Professor?" she asked, turning to the boy resting his head on her lap.

Ferris smiled slightly as Vianna expressed her disbelief that she had been able to have a squirrel as a pet, rather pleased with himself for bringing this wish of hers to reality. As she asked how he was able to catch the little guy, the boy thought for a moment, remembering that day. "Well...I was sitting on my porch, so upset about...everything," he murmured, holding back a wince in memory of that minor bump in their relationship. "...when I saw this flash of brown to my left. So, I got up and looked around in the big oak just near the porch, and found Fluffy sitting on a branch, his back to me. And I remembering thinking, 'Wow. I bet this would make her feel better.'" He let out a soft chuckle at his own recollection, "I just reached out and took him, since he didn't see me come up behind him. And I conjured up a cage."

Vianna gave Ferris a weak smile as the boy began narrating his capture of Fluffy to her, giving him a weak smile as she, too, wasn't necessarily pleased to remember that one incident back then. But her eyebrows rose as he explained that he had simply reached out to the squirrel that had been oblivious to his presence and conjured up a cage. "That's pretty amazing, Professor," she said, honestly impressed. "I could never get closer than a couple yards from a squirrel, they'd notice me right away and run off," she said.

Ferris gave a small smile as Vianna expressed how impressed she was that he had just been able to catch a squirrel by reaching out and grabbing it. "Yes, well...I used to catch squirrels when I was little, and then let them go," he explained with a soft smile, "It was a bit of a sport for me. Besides...Fluffy was really just a baby then, he didn't have all of the instincts that older squirrels attain as they get older."

Vianna's jaw dropped as Ferris explained to her that he used to catch squirrels as a child, as it was a bit of a sport for him. "I should've hired you to catch me a squirrel years ago, then!" she said, eyebrows raised and a smile on her face. She couldn't help but find it rather amusing how something she had been trying to do for so long was so easy and simple to Ferris.

Ferris grinned as she told him she wished she'd hired him years ago to catch a squirrel for him. "Ah, but you didn't know me then, Vi," he pointed out with a warm smile. "Besides, I could've told you myself if I wanted to...But, you're just so funny Vi." He chuckled for a moment before continuing, "I remember the first time I saw you trying to catch a squirrel, I think it was our first day on the run...And you were just so cute running around after it, getting all worked up over how it kept running away from you..."

"True," sighed Vianna as Ferris pointed out that they didn't know each other back then, when they were just kids. But then her jaw dropped with mock offense as the boy continued, telling her he could've told her he could catch squirrels if he wanted to, but he preferred not to because she was funny. The girl narrowed her eyes slightly at him, though there was amusement in her features and she listened quietly as he went on, recalling the first time he had seen her chase after a squirrel. Vianna chuckled softly, amused by the boy's own amusement at her actions. "I'm glad my frustrations are 'cute' to you, Professor," she told him sarcastically, sticking her tongue out at him in a childlike fashion before chuckling softly.

Ferris couldn't help but laugh as Vianna mentioned sarcastically that it was good that he found her frustrations to be cute. "Oh, but I do," he teased her lightly before sitting up so he was no longer laying on her lap. Instead, the boy laid down behind her and proceeded to pull her down next to him, his lanky arms slipping around her as they so often did. He was always a little more comfortable this way, and it was a very natural relaxed position for him.

Vianna gave Ferris a playfully disapproving look as the boy continued teasing her before he left her lap and laid down behind her instead. She was just about to turn to him when she was suddenly pulled down, and she was now laying beside him. Vianna chuckled softly, also more comfortable now that they were laying down on the ground. She then turned her gaze away from him to check the time; there were still about two hours left before it was four. "Remind me we have to go stir the potion in two hours," she asked of the boy beside her, afraid she might forget.

Ferris gave a nod as she asked him to remind her to stir the potion in two hours, but he suddenly thought of a better plan. "How about..We set an alarm, just in case I get distracted," he suggested with a soft chuckle, gently taking her left wrist into his hands and fiddling with the watch for a moment. "Alright, it's set for 3:55. That should be enough time for us to get back in case we really forget about it." His eyes remained on her watch, his fingers gently stroking the side of it for a moment before he released it with a soft chuckle, "You know, I've had that watch since I was thirteen?" he murmured with a slight smile.

"Ah, that's better!" said Vianna with a grin as Ferris suggested they just set an alarm in case they get distracted and forget all about the potion. She watched the boy set the alarm and her eyes left their hands and gazed at him instead once he had finished, sharing with her that he'd had the watch since he was thirteen. "I think you might have mentioned it," she said with a smile, her eyes leaving him for a moment to look down at the watch. "Did your mum get it for you?" she asked, curious as to how the boy had come to own the watch.

Ferris shook his head, "No...Not really. It was actually the first thing I bought with my first paycheck from Nordoff's," he said with a soft smile, remembering. "I've told you that, haven't I?..That I used to work for Nordoff's in the summers?" He gave another small smile, his brown eyes a little clouded over as he remembered.

"Ooooh," muttered Vianna with raised eyebrows as Ferris shared with her that the watch had been the first thing he had bought with his first paycheck from Nordoff's. As he then asked if he had told her about that before, the girl shook her head. "I don't think you have," she replied, her expression turning curious. "So you started working there when you were thirteen, then? I could just imagine my thirteen-year-old Curlyhead with a job in a bookshop, it's very suiting," she said with a giggle.

Ferris gave a nod as she asked about him working there at just thirteen, "Yep, that's when I started," he said with a soft chuckle, but it was then that she added that she could imagine a thirteen-year-old Curlyhead working in a bookshop, that it was suiting. "Oh yeah?" he said playfully, a grin on his face. He pressed a couple kisses to her cheek, "Well, it was a very good job for me..."

Vianna smiled as Ferris kissed her cheek, telling her that working at the bookstore had been a very good job for him. "When did you stop working there?" she asked curiously, turning to him with a smile she seemed unable to wipe from her face; she always enjoyed learning new things about the boy beside her.
