Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris, who was grinning ear to ear, led the way up to his mother's guest room and knocked on the door anxiously only to receive a light "Come in," a moment later from his mother. He entered to see her sitting in a chair reading what appeared to be a letter, but she looked up as the couple entered and smiled at the sight of them. "Hey guys, what's going on?" she asked, her brown eyes flashing from Ferris to Vianna and then back.

"We got a letter from the ministry," the boy announced with a warm smile, a comment that got his mother to sit up. "They've already spotted the kidnappers and are keeping serveillance," he announced with a grin, something that was duplicated on his mother's features as soon as this registered. "They think they'll start going into capture them in the next couple days," he announced with a soft chuckle, his brown eyes sparkling.

"That's great you guys!" his mother said, sitting up in her seat with wide brown eyes, happiness clear in her features. "So what does this mean? Are we...Are we done with them?"

"I think so," the boy confirmed with a smile and his mother quickly got up to hug both of them with a light chuckle.

Vianna was quietly watching as Ferris proceeded to share the good news about the ministry's letter with his mother, before Mrs. Montgomery then came over and gave them both a hug. The young girl chuckled softly as she returned the gesture for the moment it lasted before pulling away. "In just a few days you guys can return home without worrying about the kidnappers anymore," she said, imagining that the pair probably missed being in the familiarity of their own house and their own country. But then Vianna's eyes widened slightly - oh no, she probably sounded like she was kicking them out or something! "I--I--I mean if--if you want to! Not--not that there's any rush, of course, you're more than welcome to stay as long as you want, I… I'd prefer that, actually… but I know you must be missing your own house too…" she explained herself a bit sheepishly.

Ferris's smile faded as Vianna spoke, explaining that they'd be able to return home soon whereas his mother's seemed to widen at the thought. She let out a hearty chuckle as Vianna quickly stuttered out that there was no rush and that they didn't need to leave anytime soon if they didn't want to, "No, no, I know what you mean, dear," she said with a warm smile, standing before the pair with a warm smile. "We'll probably have to get out of here in the next week, I guess. Ferris already explained to me what kind of condition our house is in....But I think we can pull it back together," the woman said positively. Ferris, in contrast to his mother's cheery attitude, appeared to be growing paler. "A-Alright we'll see you later then Mum," he said with a weak smile, quickly grabbing Vianna's hand and leading her from the room. He hadn't even thought about leaving...leaving meant leaving Vianna...here.

Vianna smiled as Mrs. Montgomery assured her she understood what the young girl had meant, and Vianna couldn't help but feel rather relieved with her words; she had been worried she had come off as rude or something. But for some reason, the boy beside her didn't seem as excited as his mother, and this caused Vianna's brows to furrow slightly as she turned her gaze to him. A moment later, they were back out in the hallway, and it wasn't until a moment later that it dawned on the young girl what Ferris must have been thinking about. She felt herself drowning in a sea of guilt now. Not only must have she sounded like she wanted them out (though thankfully they understood that wasn't what she meant), but she also sounded like she didn't care to put distance between herself and Ferris! "Y--Y'know… even if you return to England to fix what the kidnappers did to your house and all… you… you'll return to camp to finish off the semester, right? If Hogwarts is still not working, that is," she asked, her forehead beginning to crease a bit.

Ferris looked over at Vianna with slightly saddened eyes as she spoke, asking if he'd still return to camp in order to finish the semester off if Hogwarts still wasn't in working order. He gave a weak smile and a shrug, "I dunno, I don't need to be there Vi," the boy admitted. "I don't know if I can trust the teachers the same way," he admitted with a small sigh, but his brown eyes were still searching her blue ones. "But it all depends on....you," he confessed, a small smile on his pale face. "I mean, how long do you have to stay there to receive credit for the rest of the year?" he asked, unsure of the amount of time it would actually take to officially finish off her 6th year of studies.

Vianna's forehead creased a bit further as she listened to Ferris's response, which really actually made all the sense in the world. But as he then told her that it depended on her, the girl blinked, not understanding what he was getting to. She listened as he went on to ask her how long she had to stay at camp to receive credit for the rest of the year, and her expression turned a little thoughtful now. "I… I'm not sure, Professor. When we left Hogwarts, we were a little over halfway through the year," - (I think, I don't remember. Just play along. xD) - "so… well, by the time I get to go back everyone will almost be done already, but… I guess I could catch up, I dunno. We only missed a month, and it's not like I was doing bad in any classes…" she trailed off with a shrug. She honestly had no idea, she didn't usually get to pick how long she stayed in school but rather went along with the school schedule. "It'd be a couple months, Professor," she finally decided.

Ferris listened as Vianna explained that she wasn't exactly sure how much longer she'd have, but finally estimated it to be around a couple months. "Well...it's May (I think...Not sure...XD Let's go with it!) now, that would mean that you'd get out of school in July," he murmured with a soft sigh, calculating all of this in his mind. "The school told me that due to the amount of classes I've taken previously, it's not necessary for me to go to the camp because I've technically finished all of my requirements for my seven-year schooling," the boy finally said after a few silent moments of thinking. "But....There's no way I'm leaving you for that long," he said, breaking his serious tone with a weak chuckle and a shake of his head.

Vianna nodded her head as Ferris calculated that she'd be getting out of school in July, before then going on to explain to her that he had already finished all his credits for his seven years at Hogwarts and hadn't really needed to attend camp in the first place. She nodded her head again understandingly at this, and remembered how the boy had explained this to her once before a long time ago. She felt her heart sink now that she heard it again, though. This meant she'd have to return to camp all by herself - well, not literally, her brothers would still be there and everyone else, but the one person she most wanted to be with wouldn't. However, as Ferris then shook his head with a chuckle and mentioned he couldn't leave her that long, Vianna's gaze turned from tortured to mildly confused. "What... What does that mean?" she asked him.

Ferris gave a small, slightly amused smile as Vianna asked what exactly that meant and he thought for a moment before replying. "That means that whether you like it or not, I'm going back to camp with you," he admitted softly, a weak smile on his pale features. Was that imposing? Maybe she would think it was ridiculous that he was going to camp when he didn't need to be, maybe she didn't want her weird boyfriend following her around when he didn't need to be. His brown eyes turned a little hesitant at this thought. "That is...if you want me there."

Vianna listened as Ferris explained to her that whether she liked it or not, he was going back to camp with her, before then adding after a couple moments of silence that he would only do so if she wanted him there. The young girl was quiet, her large blue eyes slightly widened, and a smile was very slowly making its way across her lips. "If I want you there?!" she repeated with slight disbelief. "Professor…" she watched him with disbelief for a moment, shaking her head slightly before letting out a chuckle and squeezing him into the second hug of the day. "I want you there, Professor! I want you to be everywhere, I don't want us to ever part!" she confessed, pulling back a bit so she could look up at him with the smile still faintly adorning her lips.

Ferris watched hesitantly as Vianna's blue eyes seemed to widen, and he felt himself sink back slightly in fear that the answer might not be so pleasant. But suddenly she repeated his question as though it was completely ridiculous, a tone that made his smile reappear and his brown eyes to sparkle as she gave him a hug, confessing that she really wanted him there, that she wanted him to be everywhere; that she never wanted to be apart from him. A large grin fell onto the boy's pale features at this comment and he returned the hug, his lanky arms slipping around her waist and picking her up from the floor with a chuckle. "I'm really glad to hear you say that Vi," Ferris told her, leaning forward to gently peck her lips with his own. She never wanted to be apart from him, she wanted him around all the time....Her words echoed in his mind over and over, each time making his smile grow and his brown eyes appear to sparkle more and more. "I'll be there, then. I'll take some extra classes just for fun and we'll have campfires and stargazing and swimming in the lakes," he promised her softly, admiring the girl for a moment as he gently set her down though his arms remained snug around her.

Vianna giggled lightly as her feet left the dark wooden floors and the boy before her shared with her how glad he was to hear her words, then awarding her with a peck kiss on the lips which she was quick to return, her blue eyes closing for the brief second it lasted before fluttering open again. She beamed at the boy before her who was so much easier to see now that they were similar in height as he held her up. As Ferris then assured her that he would be there and they could have campfires and stargaze and swim in the lake, Vianna's smile widened to a grin, and she felt her feet meet the floors once again. "It'll be just like the beginning of camp," she said, blue eyes sparkling with joy and excitement. "Maybe not exactly like it was back then, but... we can make up for all the time we didn't get to spend there... it's a second chance to experience it again as we were supposed to; without kidnappers, just classes, homework, small worries... and each other's company."

Ferris smiled warmly at the girl as he listened to her mention that it'd be just like starting camp over again, though not exactly; they'd be able to start again and have the normal camp experience in each other's company. He grinned at her last couple words, and without being able to help himself, leaned forward to gently let his lips meet her own again. It was after a few minutes of kissing her sweetly that the boy heard a door open right next to them and a, "C'mon guys, right here!?" his mother announced.

Ferris immediately broke apart from Vianna, turning his head to see his mother standing there with an amused smile on her face though she appeared to be trying to seem stern. "Sorry Mum," the boy said sheepishly, giving a light chuckle.

"Yeah, I'm sure you are Fer," the woman said with an amused shake of her head before she started down the hall. She stopped in the middle of it, turning back to look at him as she appeared to remember something. "Since when are you growing a beard?"

"Oh...I dunno, I'm just growing it out a bit because...I can," the boy said with a weak smile, his brown eyes a little sheepish as his beard growth had been noted.

"You look weird."

"Oh, great, thanks so much Mum."

"No....not in a bad way. A good weird," the woman annouced with an amused smile on her face as she appeared to analyze her son. "It doesn't look bad it's just...you look older," she admitted with a soft chuckle before she turned and headed out the hallway.

Vianna returned the kiss Ferris placed on her lips before the door right next to them opened and out walked Mrs. Montgomery, causing the young girl to jump a step back in surprise. She gave a weak, apologetic smile as the woman expressed her disbelief that they were kissing right there in the middle of the hall before then asking her son if he was growing a beard. Vianna watched the exchange between the two of them with amusement in her blue eyes and laughed as Mrs. Montgomery bluntly determined that her son looked weird. She glanced at the boy at her side, and examined the new beard forming around his jawline with mild amusement before turning back to Mrs. Montgomery as the woman determined that he looked like a good kind of weird, that he just looked older, before then heading out of the hall. "Your mum's right," said Vianna as she watched her go before turning to Ferris. "You look older. A lot older," she said with a soft chuckle.

Ferris, who had an amused smile on his pale face from their mother-son conversation, turned to Vianna as she spoke to agree with his mother; telling him that she looked a lot older. He let his smile fade as he tried to figure out if this was a good thing or not. "Is that...bad?" he asked, deciding to ask bluntly. Maybe he seriously was looking weird, like he was trying to be older....Maybe Vianna didn't like it but she just didn't want to tell him that....His eyes widened at the thought.

Vianna laughed lightly as Ferris asked her if it was bad thing that he looked older. "No, I think you look great," she assured him with a smile. "Though you'll have to shave again soon, we don't want you to go from 'older' to 'bummy'," she added with a soft chuckle, leaning on her toes to place a kiss on his cheek just because.

Ferris gave a relieved smile as Vianna told him that she thought he looked great, going onto mention that he might want to shave it soon though as they didn't want him to go from 'older' to 'bummy'. He let out a chuckle at this, happy to receive the small kiss she gave him on the cheek, and admired the girl for a moment of comfortable silence, his brown eyes nearly sparkling. "I love you Vi."

"I love you too, Professor," Vianna replied with a cheery smile. She felt great this day; the kidnappers would soon be captured and out of their lives, and Ferris would be returning to camp with her once it was all over. Things were finally, after all these weeks, beginning to look brighter, and any doubts that might have come to her about the way this would all end up were cleared from her head as all she could see now was the positive side. Just like when it had all started. "Do you wanna go head outside for a bit?" she suggested to the boy at her side.

Ferris smiled as Vianna told him that she loved him as well, a comment that could always get his heart to leap out of his chest. "Sure," he said as she asked if he wanted to go outside, and he released her waist in order to take her hand and lead her down the hallway. Before they could reach the end, however, his mother had started her way back to her room and stopped as she saw them. "Uh...Fer, can I talk to you for a minute?" she asked. The boy's brows furrowed for a moment before he gave a nod and kissed Vianna's cheek before promising to meet her in a few minutes.

Vianna was just about to begin heading down the stairs when Mrs. Montgomery suddenly arrived, asking if she could speak with her son for a minute. The young girl gave her a small polite smile before turning to Ferris as he placed a kiss on her cheek and promised to meet her again in a few minutes. Vianna nodded her head and watched him go before moving over to the small sitting area and distracting herself with some of the quidditch magazines her brother had left there.

Ferris came down the stairs approximately ten minutes later, looking much more exhausted though he'd only been gone for a matter of minutes and hadn't done anything tiring. He looked much older as he descended the stairs, his brown eyes scanning the living room absentmindedly until they landed on Vianna. He couldn't help but smile slightly at the sight, his thoughts momentarily washed away as he admired her from the second step. He took the last step and walked over to her, taking a seat at her side and gently kissing her cheek lovingly. "Hey," he murmured with a weak smile.

Vianna looked up from a heavy book she had sitting on her lap. It wasn't a novel or anything, though, but rather something like an encyclopedia of Italy's Quidditch teams and their history. She looked up from the page she was on as Ferris suddenly arrived, taking a seat at her side and greeting her with a kiss on the cheek. Vianna smiled at the sight of him, happy to have him back. "You're back!" she announced, as if he himself didn't know he had just returned. She watched him for a moment, the smile still faintly on her lips. "Everything okay?" she asked. She couldn't help but be a little paranoid, though; lately it seemed that whenever Ferris had these private conversations with his mother he didn't come out looking too happy.

"Yeah, nothing's wrong," the boy said with a small smile, letting out a sigh as he slipped an arm around her waist and pulled her over to him. "My mum was just telling me some news about my father," Ferris said, and he didn't seem necessarily upset by this statement, but rather just a little thoughtful, his brown eyes clouded over though there was still a small smile on his pale features. "Apparently, he's coming into Italy on some kind of business tomorrow," he explained further, raising his eyebrows for a moment as he told the girl this. "And...she told me because she wanted me to know in case I decided to go meet with him."

Vianna's smile widened on instinct as Ferris told her that nothing was wrong before then going on to explain to her that his mother was just sharing with him some news about his father. The young girl listened quietly and attentively, her eyebrows raising slightly as he shared that his father was coming down to Italy on a business trip the following day. "So are you?" Vianna asked curiously. "Going to meet with him, I mean."

Ferris remained silent for a moment at Vianna's question, thinking to himself for a moment. "Honestly....I'm not exactly fond of the man...In fact, there are a thousand things I'd like to hit him with," he said bluntly, his stoic expression breaking into an amused smile a moment later, amused with his own statement. He let out a soft chuckle before continuing, "But...At the same time...I used to love my dad," the boy admitted more softly, his brown eyes falling the the coffee table absentmindedly. "He screwed us over but he was a good guy when he was with us. He really loved mum....and me too, I suppose." Ferris paused, thinking, "I just...I dunno, Mum says he has a good reason for everything that he wants to explain. But I can't even think of a proper reason he could possibly have."
