Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris gave a weak smile to Mr. Vincenzi as he walked by, unexpectedly ruffling his curls, though he didn't mind; it just took him by surprise. The boy waited and waited...and waited some more. And soon enough, his mind began to wonder about what this little talk could've been about. Oh no. The only thing he could think of was the little incident earlier, and he sat there horrified for the next half hour until Vianna came down the stairs unenthusiastically. "Vi," he said with a weak smile, happy to see her. "What...What was that about?" he asked, though he had a pretty good guess.

Vianna looked up from her feet as Ferris greeted her with a weak smile before asking her what that talk with her mother had been about. The girl sighed and looked away for a moment, her brows furrowed. "It was just... mum being a mum..." she replied dully. She was quiet for a couple more moments, looking away at nothing specific before turning her blue eyes back to the boy before her with a creasing forehead. "It was the most horrifying and awkward sixty minutes of my life!" she confessed, the discomfort quite clear on her usually cheery features. "Ugh..." She plopped down on a nearby armchair and stared at the wooden floors ahead miserably.

Ferris frowned slightly at the vague answer he had gotten at first before she kind of cracked and admitted it was the most horrifying and awkward sixty minutes of her life, plopping down in a nearby armchair. "Aw, Vi," the boy said with a weak smile, cringing slightly for the girl, sympathy on his pale face. He got up from his seat in the dining room and plopped down on the couch next to her armchair, his brown eyes hesitant and curious all at once. "What...What did she want to talk about...exactly?" the boy asked, unable to help himself. A moment later he had realized that that might be too personal and his eyes widened, "Sorry, you don't have to answer that."

Vianna sighed to herself and looked up as Ferris came to join her, asking her what her mother had wanted to talk about exactly. At this question, Vianna's eyes widened slightly, but it was then that the boy quickly apologized, telling her she didn't have to answer that. "It's alright," she muttered, giving him a small and rather weak smile. "She just... y'know... just... about..." she trailed off for a moment. This was horribly awkward and it was making her rather uncomfortable again. "Let's just say she made it clear she doesn't want to be a grandma any time soon," she said simply. "And then she just kind of added on to what she had said earlier... y'know, about controlling our emotions and keeping the kissing to a minimum and other things," she added with a shrug, her blue eyes down on her hands as she fidgeted with the edges of her shirt.

Ferris listened as Vianna started to explain, unable to really say exactly what they had talked about until she just went around it the best she could; explaining that her mother made it clear that she didn't want to be a grandmother any time soon. His brown eyes widened and his eyebrows rose, his pale face falling like a deer in the headlights. He quickly looked away, his gaze on the floor as she continued, going on to say that her mother had gone on about what she'd said earlier about keeping their emotions in check. "I see..." he murmured, before his brown eyes finally returned to Vianna. "And did you tell her that we're not..." he thought for a moment, trying to find the proper word. "We're not even...anywhere close to even co-considering....?"

Vianna looked up from her fidgety hands as Ferris spoke, asking her if she had assured her mother that they weren't considering doing anything inappropriate any time soon. "Of course!" the young girl replied almost immediately. "But that didn't stop her from torturing me with a whole hour of... 'the talk'!" she said, her brows furrowing slightly. She really wished she had a time-turner now and could go back to earlier that afternoon, change things so that her mother never would've found it necessary to give her the most awkward and uncomfortable talk of her life.

Ferris let out a small sigh of relief as Vianna immediately replied affirmatively to his question, going on to say that even though she had told her mother that, she still had to suffer through an hour of 'the talk'. He gave the girl before him a sympathetic smile, his brown eyes still a little hesitant. "Well, you can't blame her for being a little wary, Vi," he pointed out with a shrug. "She doesn't know me that well, and I mean, she saw us kissing on the armchair...Any mother would've been concerned..." he thought for a moment. "Consider yourself lucky, had my mum seen that she would've gotten my Aunt Rachel over in a second and we would've gotten the talk together," the boy told her, raising his eyebrows as though to say, 'Yeah, it could've been worse'.

He thought for a moment, letting silence fall between them before he spoke again. "I know we're really serious Vi...I mean, you and me. We're...we're rock solid. I love that," he started softly. He didn't know exactly where he was going with this, but he and Vianna hadn't talked about any of this before, which was probably a good thing. But now that it was out on the table, he felt as though he should tell her what was in his mind. "But, I mean...You know, you know that I...I mean, I wouldn't...." he trailed off for a moment, trying to gather his thoughts.

Vianna listened as Ferris told her Mrs. Vincenzi had reason to be wary, that she didn't know him that well and catching her daughter kissing a boy in the middle of the living room would have made any mother concerned. "I suppose..." she muttered, her eyes falling to her hands again. She listened as the boy went on to explain to her how the situation could have been worse, had it been his mother who saw them. She looked up again and gave Ferris a weak but amused smile. "I'm glad it wasn't your mum who saw us, then," she said with a soft, weak chuckle before turning quiet once more.

Her blue eyes fell to her hands once again but she looked up at Ferris as he began speaking again, telling her how he knew that they were serious, that they were rock solid. Vianna smiled faintly and nodded her head, though she wasn't sure what exactly Ferris was getting at. But it was then that the boy began speaking again, and there was mild confusion on the girl's features before her expression turned more understanding. "I know, Professor," she said softly. She paused for a moment and cringed slightly to herself, "You're not going to give me the talk too, are you, Professor?"

Ferris gave a hearty laugh as Vianna asked if he was going to give her the talk as well, some of his nerves leaving as he fell into a more comfortable atmosphere with the girl. "No, Vi, I'm not," he assured her after his laughter had down and he was left with a warm smile, his brown eyes amused as they looked at the girl across from him. "I'm just...I don't want it to be a weird unknown for us, you know?" he said, more comfortable suddenly as he fell back into a simple conversation with the girl. "I mean...I don't want us to never talk about certain things and let them be taboo in the relationship or something," he explained himself a little better. "I was just...I'm trying to assure you that when I'm kissing you I'm not trying to do anything more than kiss you. That...I'm not that guy, in case you hadn't realized that yet." He paused, searching her blue eyes for a moment.

Vianna couldn't help but smile as Ferris gave a hearty laugh at her question, obviously amused by it. And slowly, her smile grew into a grin and soon enough she was laughing as well, beginning to grow a little more comfortable now after all the awkwardness she had just been put through. But she soon turned quiet and a little more serious as Ferris spoke, explaining to her that he didn't want this to be a taboo topic in their relationship, that he was just trying to assure her that when he kissed her he never meant for the kiss to be anything more than that. Vianna smiled and nodded her head understandingly. "I know, Professor," she told him, her voice soft as she smiled down at her hands for a moment before looking up at him again. "I know you're not that guy. You're my Professor, and I trust you."

Ferris gave a warm smile as Vianna assured him that she knew he wasn't that kind of guy, that he was her Professor and she trusted him. He couldn't help but be happy about this, feeling a bit of weight lift off his shoulders, feeling that they had just gained a good deal of openness. "Good," he said, a smile still prominent on his pale face as he got up from his seat and took her hands, pulling her up as well. "Because when that day does come...I don't want it to be in a situation like this," he thought for a moment, trying to explain himself better. "I don't want it to be something that just happened over the summer, and then we have to separate for a year...You deserve better than that," he decided with a warm smile, intwining their fingers.

Vianna's smile widened as Ferris took her hands and brought the girl up to her feet, telling her how he didn't want the day to come in a situation like this. She tilted her head just very slightly to the side, and listened as he went on to explain himself better, telling her that he didn't want it to be something that just happened over the summer right before they had to separate for a year; that she deserved better than that. Vianna couldn't help but beam at his words, her blue eyes bright as she looked up at the boy before her. She was quiet, merely scanning his features for a moment before leaning on her toes and pecking his lips. She let it last a couple short moments before pulling back with a smile. "You're too good to be true, you know that?" she told the boy with a soft chuckle.

Ferris kissed Vianna back as she gently pressed a kiss to his lips, before smiling as they broke apart, happy to see her blue eyes so bright. It was then that the girl before him told him he was too good to be true, and he couldn't help but let his smile widen, "No, trust me, you're the one that's far too good to be true," he contradicted with a warm smile, leaning forward to kiss her cheek before simply smiling at her.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris contradicted her earlier words, telling her she was the one that was too good to be true. She shook her head slightly with amusement sparkling in her eyes. "You're never going to let me win when it comes to the compliments, are you?" she said with another chuckle before his lips met her cheek and she smiled. She was quiet for a few moments, merely smiling up at the boy as he smiled at her. "C'mon, do you wanna go head outside for bit?" she asked him.

Ferris grinned as Vianna pointed out that he was never going to let her win when it came to the compliments. "Not in a billion years," he assured her with a soft chuckle, his brown eyes admiring her for a moment before she asked if he wanted to go outside for a bit. "Yeah sure," he said with a brief nod, releasing one of her hands so he only held one and starting to lead the way outside.

The next day...
As planned, Vianna was up very, very early the following morning, at around five. But she hadn't forgotten about the whole deal with the newspaper and the incriminating fountain picture, and there was no way she was going to let her parents see that. And so, the girl very quietly and carefully snuck out of her room, tip-toed her way down the stairs, opened the front doors, and took the newspaper that lay by the doorstep into her hands. "Aha!" She grinned triumphantly, taking a moment to examine it. She didn't have to search long, though, as the dreaded picture was somewhere on the bottom of the front page. Vianna's jaw dropped and she quickly rolled the paper back and began heading back up the stairs before her parents were to wake up.

Ferris, on the other hand, slept in after a nice night with Vianna out by the ocean, just talking and having fun as they so often did. He woke up around nine o'clock, letting out a yawn as he sat up in bed and immediately grew excited; his mother would be coming today. He quickly got ready, showering, brushing his teeth, and getting dressed before heading down the stairs in search for his girlfriend.

As had already been planned, Vianna didn't burn the picture or destroy it in some other way; instead, she hid it away somewhere in her room, where not even their little house-elf Costa would meddle around. She took the rest of this free time to leisurely get ready for the upcoming day. She took a long, warm bath before changing into a light, summery white dress a lot like the one she had wore a couple days before. The girl didn't usually wear white often since she had a bad habit of making a complete mess of herself, but today she wanted to look a little more presentable, since Mrs. Montgomery would be arriving in the early afternoon. Vianna couldn't help but smile at this thought, not only excited to see the woman again, but also glad to know that Ferris could finally be happy and in peace again. The girl then spent the next hour or so playing with her neglected squirrels (Fluffy ignored her when she called him over and turned his back on her whenever she approached him, clearly upset about the lack of attention he'd been receiving lately).

Feeling guilty about abandoning her squirrels, Vianna brought them out of the room that morning, to let them roam around the house even if it meant her mother was going to throw a fit when she saw them. She was in the kitchen eating a sandwich and giving bits of it to Fluffy and Amber when Ferris came down the stairs, already showered and changed. Vianna beamed at the sight of him. "Good morning, Professor!"

Wowzers Dee! Can you say, Awkward?

Ned dabbed politely at his mouth with his hankerchief, he'd just finished eating and there was a stain of mustard stuck on the corner of his mouth. Ned stuffed his hankerchief back into his back pocket and dropped his plate into the sink, with the few other dirty dishes. The Slytherin licked his lips, the way a cat does after a perticularly satisfying meal and looked about him at his immediate surroundings.

For a house full of teenagers, this joint was awfully quiet. The only people Ned had really spoken to all day were, Kayla, Vianna and Mrs. Vincenzi. In short, all women... Where were all the guys? Ned didn't mind a woman's company, but he liked to sit and joke around with the fellas and it felt as if he hadn't had a conversation with another man in months.

The Slytherin crossed his dark arms over his chest and walked out of the kitchen and into the main Foyer, Ned wished that he could grab his broom and take a ride into town, but he'd gotten strict orders from Dr. Vicky, he wasn't even suppose to leave the room, but he was starting to get cabin fever and desperately needed some kind of activity. Ned sighed in an aggravated way and dropped down onto the couch with a look of defeat.

About twenty more minutes had passed before Vince, Victor, and Mrs. Vincenzi walked down the stairs and entered the scene. Mr. Vincenzi had spared his oldest son this day and let him stay home to help his mother get the house ready for Mrs. Montgomery's arrival. Mrs. Vincenzi was giving the boys instructions in strict Italian before calling her little house-elf over and the two of them disapparated from the foyer, off to town to buy some things to prepare for Mrs. Montgomery's arrival.

Vince and Victor watched them go before parting ways; Vince into the kitchen to get some food, and Victor to the living room to scold Ned for not being in bed. "What're you doing up this early, Hall?" was his morning greeting to the boy, most unwelcoming and rather harsh. "I didn't go through all that trouble with Perry just so you could come and drop dead in my own home." He paused for a moment, his brows furrowing. "Did you take the potion I made you? You're supposed to have a glass of it every morning, I hope you haven't forgotten."

Ned looked up at the sound of footsteps, and smiled brightly as Kayla gracefully entered and bid him a small hello. And just when Ned was starting to relax and enjoy himself, Victor showed up and immediately began pestering him about his health. While Ned appreciated his friend's concern, he was beginning to grow weary with the boy's slightly smothering care.

"Ugh... Come on, Victor.. I'm restless! You can't honestly expect to stay couped up in that room all summer?" Ned asked, giving his friend a weary little smile and putting up his hands in frustration. "I very much appreciate what you and everyone else risked by saving me, but.... I feel like a bird, stuck in a cage... I want to move about a bit, joke around, have fun, you know?" Ned added, nodding at the sofa across from himself and Kayla, obviously intending for Victor to take a seat.

"Yes mother, I took the potion, just like a good little boy," Ned said, with a little laugh and a sly wink at Kayla.

Victor opted best to ignore Ned's complaints about feeling 'like a bird stuck in a cage' and wanting to move around a bit and joke around and have fun. "Very poetic, Hall," he said, though there wasn't much amusement in his eyes. He eased up a bit, though, as Ned assured him that he had already taken the potion. "Good. I'm gonna go start setting up Mrs. Montgomery's room," he said. He was just about to leave when he remembered two things - one, this was Ned Hall. And two, Kayla was in the room. Knowing their personalities, the oldest Vincenzi sibling just had to add, "If you're going to snog please do it outside or in your rooms." With that said, the boy headed back to the foyer and then up the stairs to begin getting one of the guest rooms ready for Mrs. Montgomery, following his mother's very specific instructions of making it as grand and welcoming as if it was one of the main bedrooms of the house.

"Morning," she said. "Oh yes, the boys are just chasing me around." Kayla smirked at Ned, with an amused look on her face. She flicked her blonde back and sat down beside Ned. "There's no reason," Kay said. When Victor spoke, she laughed, looking over at the boy. "Of course, Victor." She said.

"Prat," Ned replied, as Victor sarcastically applauded his words, he chuckled lightly at the serious look on Victor's defined faced. If there was one way in which he and Ned differed, it was in their reactions to certain situations, Ned's first instinct in a dangerous and urgent time like this, was to make light of things and carry on as if nothing were happening. Whereas Victor, was the type to buckle down and make big decisions.

Ned smiled as a slightly relieved Victor announced that he was leaving to take care of Mrs. Montgomery's room. "Alright mate, You need some help?" Ned casually asked, putting his arm around Kay as he spoke and obviously intending not to move from his spot. Hey! We'll snog wherever we like, dammit!" Ned said, pretending to be angry and hitting the arm of the sofa with his fist.

"Oh come off it, Kay," Ned said, ruefully shaking his head at the young girl as she smartly answered him, Ned itched at his ear and listened as Kayla added that she was dressed for no reason and jokingly replied to Victor. "You act like you don't realize how pretty you are... And I know you know how pretty you are." Ned flirtatiously added, playing with a strand of Kayla's long, blond hair and mindlessly twirling it around his pointing finger.
