Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

OOC: Don't worry about it!

Ferris watched as a figure from the distance ran toward them, knocking down his girlfriend into the sand, obviously excited. He couldn't help but smile slightly, seeing Vianna's giggling expression in the firelight as she spoke in Italian to who must've been one of her cousins. It was then that they got to their feet and Vianna introduced him to Giuliana, and his face filled with realization, remembering the name from earlier. The blonde, golden skinned girl then turned to him, saying that he was the English boy. He couldn't help but chuckle softly, a little nervously, "Word travels fast," he noticed with a small smile. She then said something in Italian he couldn't understand if his life depended on it, but he gave a smile and a nod anyway, sure that it was friendly. And before he could say anything else, Ferris was being hugged in a way very similar to the way Vianna hugged people when she was over excited; bone-crushing. He gave a breathless chuckle, returning the hug with a small smile over the girl's shoulder to Vianna. Surprise was in his expression before he released the girl and gave her a polite smile, "It's nice to meet you."

"Hey, che cosa sta accendendo qui? Muova più, muova più," said a tall boy as he came to sight, pushing his little sister Giuliana aside as he came over and flashed Vianna a smile. He was very tall, probably around Ferris's height, and his hair was a sandy blonde colour just like Giuliana's. His was wavy instead of curly, though, and it fell down to his shoulders. His skin was lighter than that of his sister, and his light brown eyes seemed honestly pleased to see his younger cousin back home safe and sound. "Eravamo tutti molto preoccupati, Vi," he said, giving the girl a hug (a normal one) which she returned before he pulled away and turned to Ferris. "Ah, il English boy! Stavamo aspettando per vedervi! Excuse my little sister, she has no manners," he said in a mix of Italian and English before then going on to give Ferris a kiss on the cheek and a bone-crushing hug. Vianna and Giuliana were somewhere in the background trying not to laugh as this very friendly boy greeted Ferris. "Benvenuto alla famiglia, ragazzo!" he added as he pulled back with a cheery grin.

"Um..." Vianna came to sight then. "That's Leonardo, he's... weird," she introduced the tall blonde boy.

Poor Ferris!

Ferris watched as another cousin came into view, this one a boy that was about his height though with very different, handsome features. He gave a weak, polite smile as he was addressed, listening to the mix of English and Italian the boy seemed to use. It was becoming very apparent that he was the English boy to everyone, though he didn't really mind. He was perfectly fine, standing there with his hands in his pockets, when the boy definitely invaded his personal space and gave him a kiss on the cheek and a hug. Not having expected such a greeting from a male, he let out a weak, nervous chuckle, returning the hug gently and releasing quickly. The poor boy looked a little startled, as though his comfort zone had been a little invaded, and listened as Vianna told him that he had just been hugged by Leonardo, who was weird. "Oh, I see," he said with a small smile and a nod.

OOC: I'm off for twenty minutes or so!

Giuliana and Leonardo had now run off to greet the boys playing football (Vince could be heard somewhere in the background screaming when Leonardo approached him). And now there were only two other figures left, both of them being boys. They didn't seem to be as eccentric as the first two. "Professor, this is Alessandro" - she gestured toward the taller of the two boys - "and Marcello" - she now gestured toward the younger boy, who must have been around twelve.

Both of them shared light brown eyes like their siblings, but instead of blonde, their curly hair was also light brown, matching their eyes and tanned skin. "I would welcome you to the family, but I see Gi and Leo have already done that for us," said Alessandro with an amused smile; he had seen the whole scene and found it to be rather funny. "It's nice to meet you," he added, holding out a hand for Ferris. It was common in Italy for boys' greetings to be friendlier than this (though not as friendly as Leonardo's), but Alessandro was a little more considerate and he knew that if he just threw himself on Ferris and tackled him down it would only startle the foreigner. The boy then turned to Vianna. "È piacevole avervi qui, Vi," he told her, giving the girl a welcoming hug which she returned.

Then Marcello came over and gave Vianna tight hug, greeting her in Italian like the others had done before then turning to Ferris and waving at him, a bit shyly.

Ferris watched with a small sigh, trying to regather himself for the next round of cousins. He watched, a polite smile on his pale face, as two more boys came up to them. He could only hope that Leonardo's greeting wasn't customary in the Italian community, as he wasn't so sure he was comfortable with that. He could barely handle just handshakes. He gave a smile and shook Alessandro's hand as Vianna introduced him and gave a small wave to Marcello, who he gave a bit of a warmer smile to. "It's nice to meet you both," he said with a small nod, scooting over slightly to stand at Vianna's side.

"I'll be seeing you two, I'm gonna go join Vince and Victor over there," said Alessandro, giving the couple a wave of his hand before running off to join the football game on the sand where most of the boys had gathered to kick the ball around and shove each other to the sand.

"Alessandro draws too, he's pretty good," Vianna said as she watched the boy go before turning back to Ferris. Giuliana came back over then, already covered in sand and her tanned legs wet up to the knees; she had obviously somehow ended up wandering into the water.

"Ooooh, for me? You're too kind," said the girl with a giggle as she took a bag of marshmallows and opened it. She then proceeded to make herself comfortable by the fire. Marcello sat beside her, muttering something in Italian to which the young blonde responded by giving him the bag of marshmallows. Vianna then sat down and tugged Ferris's hand gently for him to sit with her. "So what happened to you guys?" asked Giuliana. "Aunt Veronica and Uncle Vittorio wouldn't tell us anything, and then all of a sudden... here you are!" she said, her blonde eyebrows raising slightly. It seemed that Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi had kept the situation about the kidnappers to themselves.

Ferris turned to Vianna, relieved for a moment as he seemed pleased that he was back speaking to the person he knew best. He gave her a smile as she explained that Alessandro drew as well, that he was pretty good. "Really?" he said, his eyebrows raising slightly with a small smile, "Well I'd love to see some of his drawings." It was then that Giuliana came back over to them and stole the marshmallows, sitting by the campfire and asking what exactly had happened to them. He took a seat at Vianna's side, gently slipping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her a little bit into his side. He turned his head to look at the girl in his arms, giving her a look that meant, 'Can I tell them the truth?' If Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi hadn't told all of the relatives yet, maybe they weren't supposed to tell them.

"Uh..." But Vianna seemed as indecisive about this as Ferris. She knew she could trust her cousin, this was family after all, but if her own parents didn't want to say anything, they must have had their reasons. "We just... got kinda lost... it's a long story," she waved it off as unimportant. But Giuliana knew the girl too well to fall for it. However, she also knew her well enough to tell that Vianna clearly didn't want to talk about that, so she let the subject drop.

"So you're from England, right?" said Giuliana, turning to Ferris as she took a bite from a green marshmallow. "I never imagined Vi would end up with an English boy. Do you broom race too, then?" she asked. Clearly, Giuliana was as big a fan of racing as Vianna was, if not more. "You two went to that camp thing together, right?"

Ferris watched as Vianna just shrugged off the question with a vague response and Giuliana seemed to get the clue that it wasn't a subject that they really wanted to discuss. Instead, the girl seemed to change the subject to him, asking if he was from England before discussing her surprise that her cousin had ended up with a British boy. He let out a soft chuckle, "Yes, I'm from England," he said with a brief nod, now really beginning to notice his own accent as it contrasted so greatly from Giuliana's. "And we met at camp, first day there, but I'm not much of a broom racer though, to be honest with you," the boy answered her questions politely.

Giuliana listened to Ferris's response and her eyebrows rose as he shared he wasn't much of a broom racer. "Not much of a broom racer? Vianna!" She turned to her cousin with furrowed brows, as if Vianna had done something wrong. The young brunette merely gave her cousin a smile and a shrug, in a way telling her that there was nothing she could do about this; she couldn't really help who she liked. "Hmm... well, I guess now I can move on to what I really wanted to know," Giuliana added, a flicker of mischief in her light brown eyes. "How in the world did you get past my cousins? Vince and Victor, I mean," she asked. Giuliana had, of course, been witness to the boys ruining the hopes and dreams of any boy that approached their little sister, so it surprised her that Ferris was just sitting there holding the girl so close and her brothers were just playing a game in the sand like it didn't matter to them.

Ferris couldn't help but be amused as Giuliana turned to Vianna with surprise as she heard that he wasn't much of a broom racer, his brown eyes also turning to Vianna to see her shrug which made his smile widen substantially. But it was then that Giuliana told the couple that it was time that she got to what she really wanted to know, something that made his eyebrows raise slightly, but he listened as she went on, asking how he managed to get past Vince and Victor. He let out a soft chuckle, his brown eyes roaming to the fire for a moment before returning to Giuliana. "Oh, they hated me at first," he started, turning to the girl in his arms with a warm smile, "Didn't they Vi?" he asked for confirmation, silent amusement in his brown eyes.

Vianna chuckled softly at her cousin's question, having expected this to come. As Ferris started, telling the young blonde girl that Vianna's brothers hated him at first, Vianna nodded her head in confirmation. "Very," she said with a soft chuckle, remembering the first couple weeks and the way her brothers did everything in their power to push the boy beside her away from her.

"I expected that," Giuliana said with a nod, watching as her little brother now began to hover one of the marshmallows into the fire. "So what did you do? Did you beat them up, that's why they're so mellow now?" she asked, raising a light eyebrow.

"Merlin, no!" said Vianna with a laugh. The thought of Ferris beating anyone up was rather humorous. "He's not like them!"

Ferris let out a laugh as Giuliana asked if he had beaten them up, explaining why they were so mellow now. He let Vianna answer that one, amused by her response as well, glad to be 'not like them'. "No, I didn't beat them up," he confirmed with a soft chuckle, "We just...I dunno, we came to an understanding. I don't know exactly what made them change their minds about me, and they still haven't completely yet, I don't think," he explained, thinking about it. "But I guess they just hated boys around Vianna because they assumed they'd be just like themselves and hurt her. And...like Vi said, I'm most definitely not like them." The boy turned his brown eyes back to Vianna, admiring her for a moment, "And I guess they might've seen how much I really loved her early on as well," the boy added with a small smile.

Giuliana nodded her head slightly and understandingly as Ferris explained to her that they seemed to have come to an understanding over time, that Vince and Victor had come to realize that he, Ferris, really did love Vianna after all. "Awww..." said Giuliana. "Vince was right, you guys are mushballs," she added with a giggle.

Vianna's jaw dropped and she gasped. "Giuliana!" She chuckled softly, throwing a marshmallow at her cousin, who caught it in one hand and took a bite from it. "You shouldn't listen to Vince, anyway. You know he likes to act and say stupid things."

"He's kind of right on that one, though," Giuliana said teasingly, still laughing lightly to herself. "So does this mean you're going to learn Italian now?" she asked, turning back to Ferris. "Uncle Vittorio's family prides themselves in their lineage... all Italian purebloods," she said, raising her eyebrows slightly.

Ferris couldn't help but chuckle softly as Giuliana told them that Vince had been right, that they really were mushballs. He grinned as Vianna threw a marshmallow at the girl, listening as she explained that Vince had been right on that one. He knew they were mushballs, he wasn't going to deny it. He listened as Giuliana then asked if he was going to start learning Italian, as Vianna's father apparently took pride in having a fully Italian bloodline. His eyebrows rose at this, not having heard about it, before he smiled, "I was considering asking Vianna for some Italian lessons, yes," he admitetd with a brief nod. "But I don't think I'll really be able to give it justice. I'm more used to other languages, I suppose."

Vianna and Giuliana chuckled softly at Ferris's response, before the football the boys had been playing with suddenly came out of nowhere and landed beside the fire, causing Vianna and her cousins to jump in surprise. "Mi scusi, mi scusi!" Luca apologized as he came over to the fire, the most amused of grins on his face (not looking very apologetic at all) as he took the football into his hands. "Siete che vi divertite?" he asked the group, turning from the couple to Giuliana and Marcello and back. "Sono molto spiacente, principessa. Non ho significato colpirvi," he told Vianna, suddenly beginning to sound very polite and apologetic before adding, "Ho significato colpire l'orco," he said, pointing at Giuliana with his thumb.

Vianna giggled and Giuliana's jaw dropped, her brows furrowing disapprovingly before she threw a handful of marshmallows at the boy with the red cap. "Idiota! Non siete divertente! Esca di qui prima che vi danneggi!" she went off on him, but Luca seemed to grin wider at her outburst, which only seemed to anger Giuliana further. A second later, the girl was up on her feet and Luca was running for his life, football still in his hands.

Vianna watched them go with a light laugh, amused before turning back to Ferris. She smiled at him, merely watching the boy for a moment before leaning over slightly and placing a kiss on his cheek. "Marshmallow?" she offered him.

Ferris watched as Luca suddenly came over to them to get his football, and watched curiously as Vianna, Luca, and Giuliana had a full conversation in Italian, which obviously ended up insulting towards the latter. He gave a soft chuckle as he saw the girl run off after the boy, turning to look at Vianna as she placed a kiss on his cheek. He grinned at this, his brown eyes admiring her for a moment before he took a marshmallow. "Don't mind if I do," he said with a warm smile.

Vianna merely watched the boy at her side almost admiringly until Marcello spoke, snapping her out of her daze. "Aaahh, tipi siete troppo dolce!" he said, making a face before getting up to his feet and running over to the other boys, hoping they would let him join in the football game, despite the age difference.

Vianna blinked and gave a sheepish chuckle. "It seems we scared him off," she said, watching the fire absentmindedly. She was quiet for a moment before turning back to Ferris. "How do you like my cousins so far?" she asked him a bit hesitantly; she was a bit worried he hated them or found them to be circus freaks.

Ferris couldn't help but laugh softly as Vianna's little cousin left and Vianna explained that they had scared him off. "I really like them," he told the girl as she asked how he was liking her cousins so far. He seemed to be able to tell that it meant a good deal to her that he approved of them and vice versa. He smiled at her, his brown eyes scanning her pretty expression. "Apparently Vince isn't the only one who thinks we're far too mushy," he added with an amused smile.

Vianna's smile widened as Ferris told her he liked her cousins before then adding that it seemed Vince wasn't the only one who thought they were far too mushy. At this, she chuckled softly, nodding her head slightly. "It seems so," she said, glancing back at the football game the boys were hosting while Giuliana and Luca were somewhere in the water drowning each other. It seemed more people had joined in on the game, though, and Vianna waved at a couple familiar faces; other cousins and old friends of her brothers'.

"They all seemed to like you too," said Vianna, turning back to Ferris with a smile and placing another kiss on his cheek just because she felt like it. She then pulled out a couple more marshmallows and levitated them over to the fire, so they could roast a bit.

Ferris couldn't help but smile as Vianna placed a kiss on his cheek, a gesture he always loved from her, listening as she added that they all seemed to like him as well. "Really?" he said, the smile growing on his face. This meant more to him that he thought it would, gave him a bit of a happy thrill to know that he was becoming more and more accepted by the girl's family. "So I'm doing okay then?" he asked a little hesitantly.

Vianna chuckled softly. "You're doing great," she assured Ferris, smiling warmly at the boy. She moved a little bit closer to the fire then, beginning to grow a bit chilly. The days might have been warm and cozy in the Italian peninsula, but once the sun was gone the gentle breeze that came with the night was rather chilly.

There was a whistle somewhere in the background then, causing Vianna to turn to the boys that were playing football in the sand. "Hey, English boy!" Alessandro called out, waving an arm to catch the couple's attention. Once he saw he had their attention, he added, "Wanna join us?"

Ferris was just starting to get comfortable, his arm snug around Vianna, when there was a whistle from somewhere behind them and his head whipped around to see Alessandro inviting him to join them. His eyebrows rose, unsure if he wanted to do such a thing. Many trained, Italian football players inviting awkward old him to play football with them? Yeah, uh, no. No thanks. But he didn't want to offend them or anything...Maybe he could decline politely? Worth a shot..."I'm good," he replied with a small smile.

Alessandro smiled and gave a shrug before turning back to the group, calling something out in Italian that caused the boys to spread around evenly before Alessandro dropped the ball to the ground and kicked it. Vianna watched them for a moment and chuckled softly before turning back to Ferris. "I think that before your Italian lessons, I'm going to have to teach you how to play football," she told him with a smile.

Ferris let out a small, unintentional sigh of relief as Alessandro let it go, not asking once more for him to join the group. He turned back to Vianna as she told him that before the Italian lessons, he would have to be taught how to play football. "Your brothers tried to teach me once, remember?" he asked with an amused smile. "It was back when we were at my house, and Victor kicked the ball into my stomach?" He let out a chuckle, his brown eyes amused as they fell to her blue ones. "Nah, I'll learn football eventually. Tell me more about this Italian thing. Teach me something."
