Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

"Most likely still back at the piazza," Vianna replied as Ferris asked where her mother might be. She began to lead the way there, walking past the small bridge she had shown Ferris earlier and into the narrow streets of old buildings that had become apartments for small Italian families. She went on, past the kids running around shouting things in Italian, through the narrow alleyways, until they reached a main street which led out to the piazza they had first arrived to. Once out in the open of the piazza, where there wasn't much to hide away the bright Italian sun, Vianna began making her way across it, past the statues and fountain in the middle, and over to the other side where the clothing shops they had visited where. Mrs. Vincenzi happened to be walking out of one right at that moment, large and heavy bags in her small hands. The tall and tan woman turned to the kids as they joined her and flashed them a smile. "Are you all ready to go, then?" she asked. "If there was anything else you wanted to see or visit, we can stay as long as you'd like."

"We're good," Vianna replied, shaking her head slightly. The last thing she wanted was to continue the torturous task of shopping. Mrs. Vincenzi nodded her head and then began leading the way over to the floo hub they had arrived from, which was still crowded with lost tourists trying to find maps or some sense of direction.

Ferris smiled politely at the sight of Vianna's mother, giving her a brief nod as to agree with Vianna as she told her mother that they were ready to leave. He followed after Mrs. Vincenzi at Vianna's side, heading over to the floo hub that appeared to be filled with tourists. He smiled slightly at the sight of their bewildered expressions before entering the place, doing as he was told so they could all soon enough be transported back to the Vincenzi home.

A moment later, the large group was walking out of the fireplace in the Vincenzi living room. Vianna walked out with a cough, as all the ash and powder together didn't receive her well. Costa apparated right at that moment, "Benvenuto indietro, spero che il vostro viaggio sia andato bene," she greeted them formally, bowing her head before disapparating into thin air, and along with her, disappeared all the shopping bags from everyone's hands.

"C'mon, let's go get the wood," Vianna said, turning to Ferris and taking his hand into her own as she began to lead the way over to the kitchen.

Ferris, who still had a bit of green soot in his dark brown curls, gave a soft cough from the dust before he was distracted by Vianna taking his hand. He followed after her with a small smile, listening as she suggested they go get the firewood. "Okay, where do we get firewood?" he asked curiously, unsure as to why they weren't just going outside to gather it.

"We keep our wood stored here," Vianna replied as they walked into the kitchen. On the countertops were the bags of marshmallows and other bags of food Mrs. Vincenzi seemed to have bought while the kids were wandering around. Vianna opened a set of thin and long wooden doors and inside were wooden logs small enough for the fireplace stacked. "Unless you were looking to do it the old-fashioned way and go find wood ourselves, but trust me, that'd be a very tiresome task. There isn't much wood around here," Vianna said with a soft chuckle as she began to pull out some wood and hand it over to the boy behind her, momentarily forgetting just how heavy these logs could be and she was creating a small mountain on his arms.

Ferris listened as Vianna explained that they stored their wood in the house, as going to find it around their home could be very tiresome. "I see," he said with a small smile and a nod, holding out his arms as Vianna set a log of wood on them. It was then that she added another. And then another. And another. And another. "Okay, Vi, I'm good," he said with a soft chuckle, his lanky arms holding up a pile that nearly reached the boy's chin.

Vianna blinked as Ferris spoke, telling her he was good. She turned to him mildly puzzled, about to hand him another log, when she realized the boy was just barely visible beneath the mountain she had already laid on him. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" said Vianna. "I--I didn't notice, I wasn't thinking..." she added a bit sheepishly, now beginning to gather some of the wood in her slender arms. She gave Ferris a smile and began leading the way out of the house and down the small hill, and over to the soft white sand of the beach.

Ferris couldn't help but be rather charmed as the girl before him immediately apologized, nearly getting flustered as she took some of the logs into her own arms. He let out a chuckle, unable to help himself from thinking that she was cute, before following her out of the kitchen and back towards the beach with her. "It's alright Vi," he quickly said with a warm smile, his load a little lighter now and easier to handle.

Vianna gave Ferris another smile as he assured her it was alright, before coming to a halt on the white sand. They weren't too close to the shore as she began to set down the wood. The sun was no longer painfully bright like it had been earlier that afternoon, it was more gentle now and the sky was slowly beginning to go from light blue to orange. It was honestly a rather breathtaking sight, almost surreal in a way. Once the wood was set, Vianna proceeded to pull out her wand and set it on fire. "This reminds me of camp," she said with a smile, admiring the fire for a moment before turning to Ferris.

Ferris set down his pile of wood next to Vianna's, helping her situate it out so it was even and could sustain a good fire. It was then that the girl across from him lit the pile on fire, noting that it reminded her of camp. He smiled slightly, looking over at her just to see a sunset and the ocean in the background, quite the sight. "Yeah, me too," he admitted before he made his way over to her, standing in front of her with a warm smile. He gently wrapped his lanky arms around his waist, glancing around for a moment as though afraid Vince or someone would come out and interrupt them once more as that always seemed to happen to them.

And because I'm evil, that's exactly what happened. "What're you two mushballs doing now?" Vince called out to the couple as he passed by on his way up to the house, Luca at his side waving a friendly hand. "Vada via, Vince!" Vianna called out to him in return, rolling her blue eyes at the boy who merely stuck his tongue out at her before disappearing from sight and then eventually entering the house.

"We should probably go get the marshmallows now. I need to let my cousins know they're expected, too," Vianna said, turning back to Ferris with a faint smile.

Ferris whipped his head around as Vince suddenly appeared on the scene, asking what the mushballs were doing now. He let out a small sigh, gently releasing Vianna's waist as she called something in Italian at her brother before turning to him and telling him they should go get the marshmallows. "Yeah, alright," the boy said with a warm smile, leaning forward and pecking her cheek before he took her hand and started going back towards the house.

Once inside the house, Vianna headed over to the kitchen. There seemed to be some commotion over in the living room, though, as most of its inhabitants seemed to be over there - Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi, Vince, Victor, Luca, and even Costa were all gathered there speaking in loud Italian that echoed through the place. "Huh, looks like Dad and Victor are back," Vianna muttered as they entered the kitchen, wondering vaguely how things might have gone at the ministry. She then pulled out a candle from somewhere and lit its tip. A moment later, she was talking to it in Italian as it sat on the countertop, and the candle seemed to be talking back to her. After a couple more moments, the girl blew the fire out and gathered the bags of marshmallows. "What else should we take from the kitchen?" Vianna asked, turning to Ferris.

Ferris's brown eyes scanned the living room curiously, watching as Vianna's family spoke in loud Italian, something that was just a little bit intimidating to the boy. He gave a sheepish smile to it before he followed after Vianna, watching as she started talking to a...candle? His eyebrows rose, obviously confused, and watched as she blew it out casually, asking what else they should take from the kitchen. "Uh...I dunno, some sticks to roast the marshmallows on?" he suggested softly, obviously still confused. "Why were you talking to a candle?" he finally asked.

"Oh, right!" said Vianna as Ferris suggested they get something to roast the marshmallows on. She glanced around the kitchen, wondering where she could find something like this before Ferris spoke again, asking her why she was talking to a candle. She chuckled softly. "I was calling Giuliana... she has a fireplace right in her room, so I was able to get in touch with her..." she replied a bit absentmindedly, now beginning to go through the cupboards and cabinets for anything to use to roast marshmallows on.

Ferris gave a brief nod as Vianna explained that she was talking to 'Giuliana', someone he could only assume was her cousin. He inspected the candle curiously, never having seen anything like it, though he seemed to understand that it worked in the same way that people could communicate through fireplaces to one another. He then turned his brown eyes to Vianna who was now searching through cupboards, "Can I help?" he asked, feeling useless just standing there though he didn't know their kitchen at all.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he asked her if he could help and she nodded her head at him with a smile. "If you could just... go through the cupboards, tell me if you find anything. If not, we can always just levitate our marshmallows," she said, now kneeling down to go through the cabinets below the sink. "I'd ask Costa, but I think Mum and Dad are filling her up with tasks right now," she muttered.

Ferris gave a brief nod as Vianna instructed him to look through the cupboards in search of something to hold their marshmallows on above the fire. He did as he was asked, carefully searching through the various cupboards of the Vincenzi kitchen. But he couldn't come up with anything that wouldn't light on fire the second they put it over a bonfire, and he let out a sigh. "I think we're just going to have to levitate them, Vi," he said to the girl with a weak smile.

"Alright, that's not too horrible..." Vianna replied with a soft chuckle, her head lost somewhere in the cabinets before pulling back and closing them. She got up to her feet and took the bags of marshmallows into her hands. "C'mon, it's already getting dark," she said, taking Ferris's hand into her free one and beginning to lead the way out of the kitchen, to the foyer, and then out of the house. She walked in hurried and excited steps, almost running over to the beach and their lit fire. The sky was completely orange now, and it was slowly beginning to turn a very deep and dark shade of blue. "My cousins should be here soon, I'm really excited about you meeting them," she said, turning to Ferris with a smile.

Ferris smiled slightly as he followed Vianna outside, listening as the waves slowly came to shore and lapped against the sand. He took a seat at her side, amused by her excitement, and listened as she explained that her cousins would be there soon, that she was excited for him to meet them. "Me too," he agreed with a warm smile, letting his lanky arm wrap around her and pull her back to him. "How many cousins do you have...exactly?" he asked, unsure.

Vianna watched the fire absentmindedly as Ferris asked her how many cousins she had exactly. "A lot," the girl replied simply with a soft chuckle. "But there's four I'm closest to, they're the only cousins we have from my mum's side of the family. Though I'm sure Vince has probably invited our other cousins over too, they always get together and play football together. It's mostly boys," she explained, opening one of the bags of marshmallows and stealing a pink marshmallow from it. "It'll be fun, though, I promise," she said, turning to Ferris and placing a kiss on his cheek before offering him the bag of marshmallows.

Ferris listened as Vianna told him she had a lot of cousins, something that made his eyebrows raise slightly, not having expected that. Uh oh. Was it weird that he was getting nervous? It wasn't that he didn't want to meet them, of course he did, he wanted to know everyone that was close to Vianna, but...He didn't want to look like a dufus or anything in front of them. He couldn't help but get a few nerves in his stomach, similar to when he had met Vianna's parents, but tried to calm them down as he ate a marshmallow Vianna offered him. He gave her a small smile, turning to look at her as soon as he had finished his marshmallow and pulling her a little closer to himself, resting his chin on her shoulder after kissing her cheek.

Vianna smiled warmly at the boy beside her, giggling lightly to herself as his lips met her cheek and his chin rested on her shoulder. She continued watching the fire absentmindedly as she took another marshmallow, this one green, and brought it up to her lips. They sat there for a few more moments before the sun was officially down and they were left in darkness only interrupted by the fire lit before them. Vince eventually came to sight, alongside Luca and Victor. The three boys were talking distractedly as they walked through the grass and then over to the sand, a football being carelessly carried in Vince's fingers.

Vianna watched as they passed by before they settled somewhere near the shore, dropping the ball to the sand before the game officially started. Vianna looked up at the sky for a moment and then her blue eyes suddenly widened slightly, a large smile coming to her face. "They're here!" she announced, watching some silhouettes up in the sky before turning to Ferris. "You ready to meet my cousins, Professor?"

Ferris was sitting peacefully with Vianna, his arms snug around her slender waist as he gazed into the fire absentmindedly. He was distracted as Vince, Victor, and Luca came out carrying a football, obviously preparing for a small game on the sand of the beach. It was then that Vianna gazed up at the sky with a grin, announcing that her cousins had arrived. His eyebrows rose and he looked up as well to see many figures up in the air. "Yeah, I guess," he said with a soft chuckle as Vianna asked if he was ready to meet her cousins, the butterflies returning. He gently released her waist and instead took her hand, making it easier for them both to stand up.

Vianna gave Ferris a smile and placed a kiss on his cheek, hoping to calm his nerves a bit. Even if he didn't exactly say he was nervous, she knew him well enough to tell when his voice and his chuckles turned a little more shaky than usual. Three silhouettes landed somewhere further down the beach. There were four of them; two about the same height, one very tall, and another one very short. One of them was running toward the fire, and eventually a young girl about Vianna's age came to sight. She had golden skin, a bit more tan than the Vincenzis, and her eyes were large, light brown, and full of life. Her sandy blonde curls were pulled back into a high ponytail that swayed carelessly behind her. And though her frame was slender like Vianna's, she seemed pretty strong as she tackled the brunette down. "Avete ritornato! Avete ritornato! Vi ho mancato, dove eravate!? Perché non avete scritto!? Sono stato preoccupato!" she bombarded Vianna with questions and demands while the other girl had fallen into a fit of giggles.

"Gi! Non posso respirare!" Vianna said between giggles as she sat up, getting up to her feet with the help of her hyperactive cousin. Vianna coughed and took a moment to catch her breath, wiping the sand off her summery dress. "Professor, this is Giuliana," Vianna introduced the happy little blonde.

Giuliana turned to Ferris with a large smile. "So you're the English boy!" she said, her English slightly flawed by an Italian accent, though it was very easy to understand her. "Benvenuto alla famiglia!" she cheered, then proceeding to give Ferris a friendly bone-crushing hug.

ooc: Okay, posts slowing again now that I have all these little Italians to RP...
