Vianna's smile widened as she listened to Ferris's response, giggling lightly and giddily when his forehead met her own. "Sounds good to me," she told him with a nod, still smiling brightly at the boy, almost dazed until she walked straight into an unsuspecting old woman. Startled, Vianna turned to the woman and began to blurt out apologies, growing horribly embarrassed by this clumsy accident. She sighed to herself once they were past the old woman, her cheeks a bit pink until she came to a halt before a familiar clothing store her mother had her visit with her often. "I think you should find some things you like here, Kay," she said, turning to her friend with a faint smile as she led the way inside the small but very well-kept and fancy little boutique.

OOC: They were walking!? Oops, didn't know that!

Ferris couldn't help but laugh softly to himself as his girlfriend ran straight into a woman, forcing himself to contain it as soon as he thought she might notice, not wanting to make fun of her. But she was just so funny! He watched as her cheeks turned bright pink as they continued to walk, and he couldn't help but feel a little bad for her as she was obviously embarrassed by her clumsiness. As they reached the store and everyone else had already entered, the boy walked backwards into the shop, his hand still in Vianna's as he led her in there with a playful smile. "C'mon gem, time to shop," he said, stopping once they had gotten inside and placing a kiss on her slightly pink cheek.

Vianna couldn't help but smile as Ferris began to walk backwards, leading her into the shop and awarding her with a kiss on the cheek once they were inside. "Oh, please, Professor, stop - I can't contain the excitement," she said sarcastically as he announced it was time to shop before laughing lightly, waving hello to the shopkeeper who gave her a wide-eyed look and gave the girl a very surprised greeting. Vianna chuckled softly and walked deeper into the place until she found some armchairs. "I forgot almost everyone thinks we had gone missing... though I guess it's kind of true," she muttered.

OOC: I dunno, just standing there for a second!

Ferris smiled slightly with surprise as Vianna told him that everyone had thought they were on the run, something she forgot. "Oh yeah, huh?" he added with a soft chuckle, also having forgotten this. "Well, look at us, miraculously back," he said with a grin before he left her there to move a few feet away, pushing through a rack of clothing. "Now let's see...What can I make my Vi try on?" he asked himself all too loudly, just to let Vianna hear, an amused smile on his face.

Vianna was sitting on the armchair with a rather bored expression on her features as she watched her reflection on a nearby mirror absentmindedly. And it was then that Ferris spoke, wondering aloud what he could make her try on. At this, the girl turned sharply to him with a gasp. "I thought you'd forgotten about that!" she said, rather horrified at the thought of having to try on clothes. She felt pretty confident the boy wouldn't choose anything too horrible for her (at least not on purpose), but still... trying on clothes wasn't in her list of hobbies.

"Ah, you see Vi, if I'm good for anything it's my memory," the boy said, turning to her with a grin as she spoke aloud, telling him she thought he had forgotten about his desire to make her try on new things. He thought for a moment, looking over at her with a warm smile on his face, "But you know how horrible I am with clothing. Especially women's clothing," he reminded her, starting to walk back over to the girl with an amused smile. "So I won't dress you up right now. Mainly because you do look so cute in that dress," he added softly, standing in front of her and taking her smaller hands into his own as he admired her expression.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris reminded her that he had a good memory before going on to add that he was horrible with women's clothing, so he wasn't going to dress her up at the moment. At this, Vianna couldn't help but remember the day Ferris had taken her out shopping for a dress for their first date, and she laughed at the memory of the dresses he had chosen for her. And she couldn't keep her cheeks from turning slightly pink again as he added that she looked cute in her dress, causing the girl to rip her gaze away from him and smile sheepishly. "Thank you, Professor," she replied. She was quiet for a moment before looking up at him again. "Why don't you sit?" she suggested, as they waited for the girls to find some clothes.

"I was getting there," the boy added with a warm smile as she asked him to sit down. He took a seat at her side, releasing her hand gently as it was much easier to sit down that way in an armchair that was a foot away from the girl. He crossed his hands over his stomach as he leaned back comfortably into the chair, his brown eyes scanning the various occupants of the boutique, before his gaze returned to his girlfriend. "So am I wrong in assuming that you're not the shopaholic kind of girl?" he asked with an amused smile.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he spoke, asking her if he was wrong to assume she was not the shopaholic kind of girl. At this, she chuckled softly to herself. "No, you're pretty right on that one," she told him with a smile. "Unless, of course, we were shopping for flying brooms," she added playfully. She then turned quiet for a moment, her expression turning a little thoughtful as she watched some of the female customers in the store squeal over pretty shirts and examine themselves in the mirror rather girlishly. "Is it bad?" she asked suddenly, turning back to Ferris, suddenly a little worried. "That I'm not crazy about shopping, I mean... do you feel weird having a girlfriend that's not... like that?" she asked a little hesitantly. Maybe Ferris felt weird dating such a simple girl, maybe he'd prefer a girl who actually bothered to look stunning every time she walked out the door or something.

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as Vianna told him he was right in assuming that she wasn't a shopaholic kind of girl, rather amused by this. He remained silent, his brown eyes falling to his sneakers which were starting to get a little torn up from all they'd been through. He was just starting to try and remember when he'd got that particular pair of shoes when Vianna spoke once more, asking if it was bad. His eyebrows rose, confused as to what she was talking about until he followed her line of sight to see a few girls practically squealing into a mirror. He turned back to her, listening as she asked if it was bad that she wasn't that kind of girl; if he felt weird that he was dating a girl that wasn't like that. "Hey," he said softly, his hand outreaching to take hers once more, his brown eyes searching her blue ones with a small smile. "You're the kind of girl I want. If it was still you, I wouldn't care if you liked to shop or..." he snuck a glance back at those other girls, "...you enjoyed squealing into mirrors." He cringed slightly with a soft chuckle, "But to be honest, I'm actually kind of relieved that you don't enjoy..." he turned back to the other girls once more. "Squealing," he finished with a soft chuckle as he turned back at her.

Vianna's gaze lowered to Ferris's hand as it reached hers, and she listened quietly as he assured her that she was the kind of girl he wanted, that he wouldn't care if she liked to shop or squeal into mirrors as long as she was still Vianna. At this, the young girl smiled, returning her gaze to his brown eyes and beginning to feel rather silly for having asked that. "Sorry," she muttered. "I don't usually care what people think, but... I care what you think. And... well, sometimes it makes me a little paranoid, I guess," she admitted with a soft sheepish chuckle, her gaze now falling to her lap absentmindedly.

Ferris couldn't help but smile slightly as Vianna explained that she usually didn't care about what people thought, but she did care about what he thought, something that made the boy smile. "Yeah, well, I don't like those girls," he explained, intwining his fingers with her own. "I like my girl," he added, even though it was rather implied with his first statement. He flashed her a rather sheepish grin before he let his gaze fall back to the random occupants roaming around the store, but his mind appeared to be on other things.

Vianna looked up from her lap and to the boy beside her as he assured that he didn't like those girls, that he liked his girl. She smiled and chuckled softly, watching him for another moment before looking away. And I'm going to assume the girls might have tried on some things and found something they liked by now, soooooo... They started heading back over to the register to pay for everything just like last time. Vianna waved the friendly employee she had greeted earlier farewell as she led the way out of the shop, her blue eyes squinting at the sudden bright sunlight greeting her out in the sidewalk.

Ferris once more followed after Vianna as the group made their way out of the small boutique, and his brown eyes turned to the girl at his side. "Where would you like to go my dear?" he asked with a small smile, his brown eyes also a little squinted in the bright sunlight of the Italian afternoon. He glanced around at the people for a moment, buzzing with the soft noise of a language he couldn't understand a word of. This reminded him of the small written note on his forearm which he stole a glance at before turning back to Vianna with a smile.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he asked her where she would like to go and the girl's expression turned thoughtful for a moment as she glanced around the piazza. "Ah!" She then turned back to him with a grin. "Would you like to see where your girlfriend used to race - and win every race, of course - when she was little?" she asked him, since they were pretty close to that part of town, she figured she might as well show him.

Ferris's eyebrows rose just slightly as Vianna asked if he wanted to see where his girlfriend used to race others, and win, of course. He had nearly forgotten that this was where she grew up, that this must've been where she spent a lot of her time. "Yes, yes, show me!" he immediately said with a warm smile, now suddenly excited to see what she could show him. "Let's start there, I want to see everything," he added with a grin, anxious to learn more about the girl.

Vianna couldn't help but laugh lightly at Ferris's enthusiasm. "I'm only going to show you a few things, Professor, I don't want to bore you to death," she told him with a chuckle, taking a moment to glance around the piazza; it had been a while since she had last visited the spot where she used to race, and her mind was a bit foggy for a moment before it started coming back to her. "It's this way," she said after a moment of silent thinking, her steps a little quickened as she began to make her way across the piazza and into a narrow street leading west.

Ferris smiled slightly as Vianna told him she was just going to show him a few things, that she didn't want to bore him. "You're not going to bore me," he quickly denied with a shake of his head, amusement on his pale expression as he started to follow after her quickened pace. He followed down the street, swiftly dodging the people as he kept Vianna's hand intwined with his own, eager to see what she could show him in this new enviroment.

The further down they walked, the less businesses and shops surrounded them, and the old buildings were now homes to small Italian families who looked out their windows at the people passing by absentmindedly, or shouted things out to their neighbors; like typical loud, boisterous Italians. Vianna made a few turns here and there, passing through some alleys until the buildings began to die out and they seemed to reach a small canal, kind of like the ones usually found in the north, in Venice. Leading to the other side was a small bridge, and there were a couple more bridges on other parts of the canal, separated only by about a few hundred yards. The bridges were old, like the rest of the country, and made of stone. Vianna paused for a moment and smiled before nearly sprinting over to the small bridge. "It was here, I remember," she said with a smile, gazing at the water. "We'd start here, and we'd race over to the next bridge. Some times kids fell into the water - not me, of course," she said, ever the proud one, "The bridges were always crowded with kids, and people living around here couldn't stand all the noise we made, cheering for each other and booing the ones we didn't want winning..." she explained.

Ferris followed Vianna quietly through the streets as they fell into an enviroment that was totally unfamiliar to him but obviously completely comfortable to the girl leading the way, something that was rather thrilling for the boy. He gazed around with curious brown eyes at all of the people, the architecture, the way the sun seemed different in Italy than it was in England. Everyone was so...tan here. And loud and different from anything he had experienced before. It was then that they reached a canal of sorts, something he hadn't been expecting, though seemed pleased to see such a thing in the middle of such a pretty place. He stepped up onto the bridge, also gazing out into the blue waters of the waterway as Vianna began to recall to him the various races she and other children would have in this location. Ferris smiled slightly as she thought back to how some children fell into the water, though not her (of course), and how the surrounding people would get angered by the noise they made. He gazed out at the canal with a newly acquired appreciation, surprised by how a simple story could change how he looked at a place, thought of it. "How old were you when you started racing here?" he asked curiously, turning his eyes back to the girl at his side.

Vianna stared at the water absentmindedly, as if there was a movie playing on it, before turning to Ferris as he asked her how old she was when she started racing. "Hmm, probably... seven or eight?" she replied thoughtfully, not really sure as this had been a while ago. She couldn't wipe the smile off her face, though, it was nice to remember all of this and be here again.

"Hey, what're you two doing here?" said a familiar voice as Vince came out of nowhere. At his side was a boy probably just as tall as him, with skin a bit lighter than the other Italian kids though still pretty tan. He had friendly brown eyes and ear-length dark wavy hair hidden beneath a red baseball cap. Vianna turned to the two boys and her eyes widened at the sight of Vince's company. "Luca!" She grinned, and the boy grinned in return before receiving a friendly hug from the girl, ruffling her hair the way a brother would do as she pulled away, and succeeding at making her usually silky pretty hair look a complete mess.

The two exchanged a number of words in excited Italian before Vianna turned back to Ferris and took his hand, leading him over to the other two boys. "Remember that story I told you a while ago, Professor?" she asked him with an excited smile. "The one of when I was little and got lost in the park? And a little boy found me and I never saw him again until a few years later? Well..." She turned her gaze to the boy named Luca for a moment and then back to the English boy beside her. "This is Luca. And that's his signature red cap," she said with a soft chuckle.

Luca didn't speak English, so he didn't understand a word that was being said, but he gave Ferris a friendly smile anyway. He didn't need to know English to know he was obviously being introduced.

Ferris was just about to express his disbelief as Vianna told him that she started racing at seven or eight when he was cut off by Vince's voice asking what they were doing there. He turned to see Vince approaching them at the side of a rather handsome Italian boy in a bright red cap. Ferris remained where he was as his girlfriend gave a large hug to the boy she was obviously excited to see and he ruffled her hair in return. He gave a weak smile, feeling a little awkward as he wasn't sure what to do with himself at that moment. But then Vianna turned to him, explaining that this was the boy that helped her find her way out of the park so many years ago. His eyebrows rose, suddenly making the connection to a story Vianna had told him a while ago. "Oh," he said to the girl, understanding in his pale expression before he turned to the boy and gave a polite smile.

Vianna then turned to Luca and shared something in Italian, causing the boy's dark eyebrows to rise; and even though they were invisible under his red cap, the surprise was evident in his facial expression. "Ahhh, siete il nuovo ragazzo Inglese, eh?" he told Ferris with an amused grin before turning back to Vianna. "Non cattivo... sebbene pensi dovreste andare con le vostre radici, Vi," he continued, now turning his dark gaze to Vianna with another grin, but Vianna smiled and shook her head slightly at him. "È un piacere. Spero che prendiate la buona cura lei… ha tre fratelli, non due," he said, turning back to Ferris again and taking the boy's pale hand in a friendly greeting shake.

Vince chuckled softly as the boy just kept rambling in Italian, completely ignoring the fact that Ferris didn't understand a word he was saying. "Luca, non capisce," Vianna told him, shaking her head slightly again at the boy before turning to Ferris. "He says it's a pleasure to meet you," she translated with a smile. "Sorry about that, he just... likes to talk a lot," she added with a soft chuckle.

Ferris couldn't help but let a bewildered expression fall onto his pale features as Luca and Vianna started talking, mostly Luca though, in fast paced Italian. He had no clue what they were talking about, he couldn't even guess on a word or two of what they might be saying, and was caught by surprise as Luca took his hand in a friendly handshake. The polite smile quickly returned to his face as he returned the handshake, though there was still slightly confusion in his brown eyes as he tried to figure out what they had been saying. It was then that Vianna translated a simple sentence for him, though he was sure that couldn't have been the conversation, and listening as she added that he liked to talk a lot. "Oh no, he seems nice," the boy replied quietly with a soft chuckle.

Vince merely watched the whole scene with mild amusement in his blue eyes before turning to Luca and suggesting they get going, to which the other Italian boy responded with a nod of his head. "Vi vederò ancora presto, principessa!" he told Vianna with a smile, ruffling her hair once again, causing the girl to chuckle softly as she pushed his hands away from her hair before he then returned his attention to Ferris. "See you later, English boy!" he said with a rather thick Italian accent, waving the boy farewell before turning his back to the couple and running out of sight, joining Vince who was already pretty far a moment later.

Vianna watched him go with an amused chuckle and turned back to Ferris. "C'mon, let's go find some ice cream or something to refresh ourselves with," she suggested with a smile, beginning to lead the way down the small bridge and to the other side.
