Once again this is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, kept ever so strong and alive by it's loyal RPers. As the title says, this is version (3) three, the first two threads have reached their post limits. From the original thread: Quote:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:
"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."
Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!
Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!
(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Don't worry about it! Ferris stood awkwardly on the sidelines as Vianna greeted her parents in a very Italian way, a small smile falling onto his pale features at the sight of her so happy. She seemed completely overjoyed to be back with her parents, and he couldn't help but be happy for her. But before he knew it she was back at his side, taking his hand and introducing him to her parents. His brown eyes widened for half a moment before they returned to normal, giving the older couple a friendly smile as he shook Mr. Vincenzi's hand. "Y-Yeah, that's me," he replied, though he was lacking a bit of his normal volume. He wasn't sure what the older man meant by 'friend', but he sure as heck wasn't going to correct his girlfriend's father. Her very intimidating father. "It's nice to meet you," he said with a brief nod before turning to Vianna's mother, who he could immediately spot a resemblence in. He smiled just the same at her and shook her hand as well, "Nice to meet you as well, Mrs. Vincenzi," he said with a polite smile.

Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi were all smiles, seemingly polite and friendly just like Vianna had described. At least they weren't throwing Ferris murderous glares like her brothers did when they first met the poor boy. "Victor told us a bit about you," said Mrs. Vincenzi with a smile, her English pretty much perfect compared to her husband's. At this, Victor gave a bit of a smirk, and Vianna looked a little paranoid. If Victor had been the one to mention Ferris to her parents... well, that couldn't be good. Though it seemed he hadn't said anything bad, since her parents were acting completely normal and friendly.
"Oh, but where's Vincent?" asked Mrs. Vincenzi, glancing back toward the wooden stairs as if waiting for her second son to come to sight. She certainly didn't look like she could be the mother of three grown teenagers, though. Victor took his mother's arm and led her up the stairs so she could see her third offspring. "Scusimi," said Mrs. Vincenzi, giving the boy she'd just met a polite smile before disappearing from sight with her oldest son.
Mr. Vincenzi, meanwhile, stayed behind. He gave the two teenagers he was left with a most amused and even... what was that? Mischievous smile? He looked an awful lot like Vince did that morning, even if Vince's features resembled his mother more. "Ferris... that's an interesting, I don't think I had heard it before," he commented casually. "Very English. Vittorio told me you attended Hogwarts too, is that correct?"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's brown eyes once more widened momentarily as he heard that Victor had briefed Vianna's parents on him a bit, something he wasn't too confident about. But he didn't have much time to worry as soon enough Mrs. Vincenzi had travelled up the stairs and he and Vianna were left alone with Mr. Vincenzi. Gulp. He listened as the man mentioned that his name was interesting before asking if he had attended Hogwarts. "Thank you sir," he said politely. Sir?! Where did that come from?! Well, it was better than the opposite...At least he hadn't spurted out a 'dude'. "Yeah, I've been going to Hogwarts for the past seven years," he confirmed with a brief nod.

Vianna listened to the short exchange of words between the other two with her forehead creasing slightly. Her mind was still on what her mother had said earlier. And so, she blurted out, "What did Victor say!? Whatever he said isn't true, I swear!" she said, causing Mr. Vincenzi's thick gray-and-black eyebrows to raise, wrinkling his old forehead.
"Ah, vi preoccupate troppo... rilassi, rilassi!" said Mr. Vincenzi with a smile, waving a hand at Vianna as he told her to relax, seeing that his daughter was obviously rather uneasy and tense at the moment. "Go tell your mother and the others to meet us outside, we're going to get some fresh air, this place, ah... it's too dusty, I think I'm getting allergies!" he went on, making a face as he glanced around the old inn before gesturing Ferris to follow him while Vianna made her way back up the stairs.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Oh, poor Ferris! I'm off for twenty minutes or so! Ferris was surprised to hear the girl at his side burst out, telling her father that whatever Victor said wasn't true. He gave a faint smile at this, rather charmed by the way she stood up for him like that. But he was distracted from this as Mr. Vincenzi shrugged her off in Italian, instructing her to go back upstairs so he and Ferris could get some fresh air. His eyes widened for the billionth time that morning just for a split second as Vianna left, and he gave a weak smile to Mr. Vincezi before following him out the door into the fresh morning air. Nervous, he stuffed his hands in his pockets, his brown eyes on the ground as he walked alongside the man.

ooc: Let the torture begin!
Nah, j/k.
& Ok!
Mr. Vincenzi could almost smell the uneasiness on Ferris, it was just that clear to see and it amused him to no end. "Ah, rilassi, boy! I'm not going to eat you!" he said with a deep laugh, obviously one to be rather easily amused. He turned to the taller and younger boy with a smile and continued, " Non si preoccupi, Vittorio told me nothing bad. Actually, he spoke well of you and that's good enough for me - Vittorio's our eyes and ears when we're away, and I trust his word," said Mr. Vincenzi as they walked down the deserted streets of the tiny town before coming to a halt as they waited for the others. "Oh, and I want to say grazie for letting my kids stay in your house; Vittorio told me your mother was very kind to them and there's nothing I appreciate more than someone who's kind to our kids. I would like to return the favour, and hopefully getting you kids out of this situation can be a part of it," he said, turning a little more serious now that they neared the subject of the kidnappers.
But this wasn't a subject Mr. Vincenzi really wanted to discuss with the boy just yet. "So tell me boy, you play Quidditch? Football? I find it hard to believe my Vi isn't with someone who shares her love for sports!" he said, eyebrows raised. "Surely you do something, eh? Play a musical instrument, perhaps?"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: Ferris walked alongside Mr. Vincenzi, giving a weak smile as the man immediately seemed to recognize his nervousness as he told him to relax. It was hard not to relax a little bit when the man next to him was so friendly, though he was still a little tense as they made their way down the cobblestones, listening as he told him that Victor had spoken well of him. His eyebrows rose at this, surprised, but honestly happy that he had. That could've been a perfect opportunity for Victor to trash him and he didn't...That was...that was nice. He smiled as Mr. Vincenzi thanked him for letting his children stay in his house, shrugging. "It was nothing, really. My mother loves company," he said with a polite smile. "She really likes your children as well. Especially Vince, he was very nice, helping her with dishes and everything," he spoke up, hoping to return the nice things that were said about him to the Vincenzi kids. After all, they were extraordinarily friendly to his mother.
It was then that Mr. Vincenzi spoke once more, asking if he played quidditch or football, mentioning that it'd be hard to imagine that his daughter was dating someone who didn't share her love for sports. He let out a weak chuckle at this, fully aware of Vianna's love of sports. "Well, I do something," he admitted with a small, nervous smile. "But I'm not really a sports guy, myself," he confessed with a soft chuckle. "You could say that Vianna and I are kind of opposites in that respect...She loves being active and playing sports, and I prefer to watch, really." Ferris smiled before continuing, "I read, mostly. I mean, th-that's not really a hobby or anything, but...It's what I like to do." He paused, thinking for a moment before he continued, "And Vianna encourages me to draw a lot, I sketch every once in a while. I'm not amazing, or anything, but...she seems to like them."

Mr. Vincenzi couldn't help but raise his eyebrows in surprise as Ferris assured him that his mother had loved his kids and especially Vince, for helping around with the dishes and all. If only he were that helpful at home, Mrs. Vincenzi would be thrilled. Mr. Vincenzi listened as Ferris went on, explaining to him that he wasn't much of a sports guy, that he and Vianna were opposites in that sense, she liked to be active and play sports while he preferred to read. At this, Mr. Vincenzi nodded his head understandingly and listened as the boy went on to add that Vianna encouraged him to draw. "Ohhh, an artist, huh?" he said with a smile. "That's good, that's good, my wife comes from a very artistically-inclined family, she'll be pleased to hear this."
And it was right at that moment that Vianna, Mrs. Vincenzi, Vince, Victor, and the others arrived, joining the pair that were standing out in the deserted streets of the tiny ghost town. "Oohhhoho, I see you've met Ferris Wheel already," said Vince with a grin, coming to join Ferris and Mr. Vincenzi with mischief in his blue eyes. "What'd you guys talk about, huh? Time back in Ferris Wheel's town? Oh, Mrs. Montgomery's great, by the way," said Vince, turning to his father. "This guy comes from a great background, he really does
we even got to meet some of his old friends during our stay there. It was very interesting," he went on with a smirk, now turning to Ferris and chuckling softly to himself.
And as if on cue, Vianna came up from behind and shoved her brother out of the way. "Mum says we're going to go eat?" she said, a bit puzzled. "But we already ate..."
"Ah, nonsense! You'll just eat again!" said Mr. Vincenzi. Vianna merely sighed. Though she couldn't really complain since she hadn't really eaten yet. "What do you kids want, eh?"
"No, no, there's no time to eat Vittorio," said Mrs. Vincenzi (Victor and his father shared the same name), shaking her head slightly. "We really should get going." And as Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi began debating on what they should do, Vianna took this opportunity to pull Ferris away from the crowd a bit. "How'd it go?" she asked, looking up at him with a smile.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris gave a small smile to Mr. Vincenzi as he told him that Mrs. Vincenzi would be pleased to hear that he was an artist as her side of the family was very artistically inclined. It ws then that everyone came out to join them, Vince making very nice comments about his home and mother before adding the part about old friends, something he looked down to the cobblestones at momentarily. But Vianna was soon pulling him away from the crowd as her parents started debating what to do, asking how it went. "It wasn't that bad," he admitted with a small, rather cheerful smile. "I mean, I don't think I looked like a dufus, but...I dunno. He seems okay with me. He just makes me nervous," he explained with a soft chuckle. "Apparently Victor said really nice things about me," he informed the girl with raised eyebrows.

ooc: Bye, Ruthers!
Vianna couldn't help but chuckle softly as Ferris explained to her he didn't think he looked like a complete doofus but her father seemed to be okay with him. "I'm glad," she said, smiling brightly at this news. She glanced back at the others to see if they had made any decisions yet, but turned back to Ferris a moment later when he continued, adding that apparently her oldest brother had said some nice things about him. At this, Vianna's light eyebrows rose. "Really?" she said, mildly surprised. But she knew Victor all her life, and she knew that as mean as the boy could come off as sometimes, he had his limits. "I guess I won't have to beat anyone up yet today," she joked with a soft chuckle.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris grinned as the girl at his side told him she wouldn't have to beat anyone up that day, something that he couldn't help but chuckle at. "Good, I don't want to see anyone face that kind of severe damage," he joked softly, leaning down so he could kiss her cheek, his dimples in full view. He took her hand into his own, intwining their fingers as he so often did and giving her a small smile, "You happy?"

Vianna chuckled softly along with Ferris and nodded her head as he asked her if she was happy. "Very," she confirmed, a large bright smile on her face as she looked up at the boy at her side before turning to the others as her parents began calling them over.
"Gather your things, we're going home," said Mrs. Vincenzi simply, a rather scolded-looking Mr. Vincenzi standing a couple feet away. Though by the way his brows were slightly furrowed, it was obvious this wasn't what he wanted to do. But it's hard to argue with your wife sometimes.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris's eyebrows rose just slightly as Vianna's mother informed the group that they'd be going 'home'. He didn't know exactly what home was but he was sure it was in Italy, meaning they were moving location. He gave a brief nod before he headed back into the inn with the others to pack up the small things that weren't in his bag yet. Though he kept most things his bag, it made it harder to lose things when they moved around so much.

Vianna blinked at the unexpected announcement, but she wasn't too surprised. She knew her parents, and last minute change of plans were part of her everyday life with them. Vianna followed the rest of the group back into the inn and then back up the old wooden stairs to the girls' room, where she proceeded to pack her things which weren't really much. Actually, most of package was two cages, squirrel food, and of course the squirrels themselves.
"I hope Mum doesn't get too mad about Fluffy and Amber, she's not very fond of animals..." the girl commented absentmindedly as they headed back out. Vince, meanwhile, was in the back looking quite cheery. This might mean the end of the stupid squirrels and he would never have to deal with them again!

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris had gathered his small dufflebag in one hand, completely packed up, and entered the girls' room to get Turnip. "C'mon Turn, time to move," he told the kitten with a soft smile, picking her up from the armchair and setting her in a magically created cage just her size. "I know, cages aren't nice, but I'll let you out as soon as I can," he assured the creature politely, as though talking to another human being rather than a cat.

Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi were all smiles as the kids returned... with a lot of animals. Mrs. Vincenzi's caramel-coloured eyes widened at this. "Vianna..." Vianna merely gave her a small, innocent smile. "Do you kids know how to Apparate back to the floo hub downtown?" she asked them, to which the siblings - except Vianna who didn't have a license yet - nodded. "Vince, Victor, take your sister with you. Don't let go of each other for a second--"
"Mum, we're not five," muttered Vince.
"--And stay close. We'll meet you there and from there we'll floo back to Italy, alright?"

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris listened attentively to Vianna's parents, slight amusement falling onto his pale features at the sight of Mrs. Vincenzi as she caught the view of Vianna's newly acquired pets. He prepared to apparate, ready to be out of that small town and onto something better, and hopefully a place that would help get rid of the kidnappers. Moments later the boy disappeared into thin air, reappearing at the floo hub with his bag and cat in hand, looking around for the others.

Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi were already there waiting for the others, and greeted Ferris with a smile as the boy came to sight out of thin air. Soon enough, Victor, Vince, Vianna and the others arrived, one by one. Somewhere in the way, Vianna had given Amber's cage to Victor so she could have a free hand to hold the floo powder with. While the kids were apparating, Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzi had already taken care of getting and paying for the floo, so now all the kids had to do was take some of the powder into their hands and stand in the green flames.
Mrs. Vincenzi went in first to make sure everyone arrived on the other side, and Mr. Vincenzi went last to make sure everyone pronounced their new location correctly and no one got lost in the way. After it was all said and done, the group reappeared at another floo hub, one a little more crowded and filled with people talking in rapid Italian. "Come, come, stay together, don't get lost!" said Mrs. Vincenzi as she led the group out of the floo hub, closely followed by her husband and her kids.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris remained silent throughout the whole process of flooing over to Italy, not having much to say as he focused on pronouncing the Italian destination correctly. He was slightly surprised to see the bustling people all speaking Italian, something a little overwhelming for the boy as he started out of the hub with the rest of the group. He quickly grabbed on to Vianna's free hand, holding Turnip's cage in one of his hands and swinging his duffle bag over his arm.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he joined her side and flashed the boy a smile, feeling as if she hadn't seen him in a while during all this commotion. "How're you feeling, Professor?" she asked him as they walked out to the warm Italian streets. It was even warmer here than it had been in Tuscany, since they were at the southernmost tip of the peninsula. Actually, they weren't even in the Italian peninsula anymore, they were in the island of Sicily.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris turned to his girlfriend with a sheepish smile as she asked how he was feeling, "Very very not Italian," he confessed with a soft chuckle, his pale skin practically shining in the sunlight and making a not-so flattering contrast to Vianna's softly tanned skin. He was smiling though, looking forward in a way to being with adults again. As weird as it sounded, Ferris couldn't help but be a little comforted by higher authority, someone to tell them all what to do, it was what he was used to. His student days had been centered around following a teacher's instruction, and it felt much easier, much more simple to be with adults they could trust.

Vianna couldn't help but laugh at Ferris's response, completely amused by it. "Well, I like you not-Italian, my English Professor," she told him playfully with a soft chuckle before returning her gaze to the others, just to make sure they didn't lose each other in the crowds.
"Hey, you two could at least try to be a little less mushy and cheesy now that Mum and Dad are around," said Vince suddenly from behind them, having been snooping around.
"Go away!" Vianna replied, turning to him with furrowed brows. "Mum! Vince is bothering me!"
"Vince leave your sister alone!"
"I didn't do anything!" Vince rolled his eyes and disappeared out of sight.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor Ferris smiled slightly as Vianna told him she liked her English Professor not Italian, rather amused and flattered by the girl as he so often was. It was then that Vince cut in, asking that they be a little less mushy now that their parents were around, something that made Ferris glance forward towards Vianna's parents as though expecting to see them giving the couple death glares. Were they not supposed to hold hands? Maybe he was being too forward around her parents...But all thoughts of this were erased from his mind as Vianna seemed unconcerned, complaining to her mother that Vince was bothering her. The boy watched this exchange with amusement in his dark brown eyes and a soft smile on his expression, "You guys are such siblings," he noted quietly, letting out a chuckle.

Vianna watched her brother go and turned back to Ferris as he spoke, mentioning that she and Vince were 'such siblings'. At this, she laughed lightly with amusement. "I suppose, sometimes," she said with a smile before coming to a halt as did the rest of the group.
Victor turned and walked toward them with a small book in his hands, one thin and light enough to carry in a pocket. "It's a portkey," he stated simply, referring to the book he had just enchanted. "Take it, it'll take you back home. Dad and I are going to the ministry," he explained, handing Vince the book, which the boy nearly jumped at as if it would bite him. He hated traveling through portkeys.
"Alright, you guys ready then?" asked Vince, turning to the others.

| Blonde&Proud Sirius Sense of humor OOC: I'm getting off for now Dee but I should be on tomorrow! Hey! Tomorrow's Thursday! One day closer to Friday! Ferris listened as Victor explained that he and his father would be going to the ministry as the rest of them went home and he gave a brief nod. He turned to Vince as he asked if they were ready, giving yet another nod as he didn't find himself wanting to say much. He just wanted to finish travelling already, he didn't like it very much, it was very tiring. Maybe he could take a nap somewhere....Hmm, if they didn't have many guest rooms, he'd take the floor, he decided momentarily before he put a finger on the portkey.
