This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris let out a small chuckle as Vianna told him she would be ready in five minutes, adding that he could time her, as was their catch phrase of the morning. He gave her a nod before heading out of her room, out of the girl's hotel room and into the boys' only to see Kayla, Vince, and Jamie eating breakfast in the main room. "Hey guys," he said with a nod before quietly heading into his own room. He changed, throwing on a pair of jeans and a polo shirt; adding a fresh argyle sweater vest on top of it. He fixed the collar and laced up his tennis shoes before taking a quick glance in the mirror and heading back out. He was back in the main room of the girls' room moments later, taking a seat on the couch as he waited for Vianna to appear.

"Hey," muttered Vince as Ferris stepped into the room, barely acknowledging the boy as all his attention was on the food.

Vianna had finished changing into her usual attire in, as promised, exactly five minutes. She walked out of her room with Fluffy in her hands, as the squirrel had returned to her room while she was changing to demand he be taken out to play - even Fluffy was looking forward to getting out of the room and enjoying the fresh air outside. Vianna beamed at the sight of Ferris already sitting at the couch. "All ready, then, Professor?" she asked him, trying her best to keep the uneasy squirrel in her hands.

Ferris looked up as he heard Vianna's door open, seeing her dressed in her usual clothes, and a smile came to his face on instinct. "Yeah, of course," he said before standing from the couch and walking over to the girl, by her side as they made their way from the room and down the stairs to the main lobby. "Looks like Fluffy's in need of some outdoor time, too, huh?" he said, his brown eyes on the restless squirrel in Vianna's hands.

"Yeah, I think he needs to go tree-climbing," replied Vianna, smiling warmly down at her beloved and spoiled little pet and admiring the way his fur now had a shine to it it didn't have before. "That bath really did him well," she added with a nod as they walked through the lobby and out the front doors of the hotel into the old streets of the small French town. "Have you got anything in mind on where we should go first, Professor?" she asked, turning to the boy beside her.

Ferris's smile widened as Vianna pointed out that the bath did Fluffy some good, and glancing at the little squirrel's fur, it was pretty obvious she was right. Hands in his pockets, he walked next to the girl, thinking as she asked if he had anything in mind for where they should go first, "Well...We might as well let Fluffy go running for a while. Let's go find that park," he suggested.

Vianna smiled as Ferris suggested they go find the park as Fluffy needed to get his daily exercise. The young girl nodded in agreement, "Sounds good!" she said enthusiastically, returning her gaze to Fluffy and beaming down at the furry little creature who seemed to have calmed somewhat at the mention of the park.

Ferris walked with her side by side down the crowded streets of the small French town, tall enough to see over them well enough to tell which direction they needed to be going. He removed one of his hands from his pocked in order to take Vianna's hand, not wanting to lose the girl in the crowds, until they were almost to the green expanse of grass that was the park.

Vianna followed Ferris's lead with the now-calm Fluffy in her hand as the other held on to Ferris's hand tightly. She grinned as the park came to view, but before they were even on the green grass, Fluffy jumped from Vianna's hand and ran off into the distance, heading over to the nearest large tree he could find. Vianna watched her pet go as they entered the park with amusement in her eyes, happy to see the tiny creature so excited.

Ferris grinned at the sight of the squirrel running off into the distance towards a tree before his eyes turned to Vianna and his grin widened at her expression. He enjoyed seeing her so amused and happy about something. "So, the squirrel was a good choice as a pet then?" he asked her teasingly, obviously knowing that the girl was pretty infatuated with her little Fluffy.

Vianna turned to Ferris as the boy spoke, and not catching the teasing in his voice, nodded her head. "The best choice!" she agreed confidently. She had always wanted a squirrel, but Fluffy wasn't just any squirrel. He seemed smarter than most and had the spirits and behaviour of a small child, almost making him human-like. "C'mon," she said, now rushing over to the tree Fluffy had chosen and dragging Ferris along with her.

Ferris couldn't contain the light chuckle that erupted from his lips as Vianna whole-heartedly agreed that a squirrel was the best choice for a pet, obviously not catching on to his teasing. But before he could say anything more, he was being pulled over to a tree at a fast pace by his energetic girlfriend. Grinning as they reached the tree, he took a seat underneath it as he let out a small sigh of content. It was a nice afternoon, barely any clouds in the sky, the sun out and shining on the grass of the park. But as he leaned back against the trunk of the tree, he got one of those old stings in his back. Wincing, he used one of his hands to rub his lower back gently, suddenly remembering he had forgotten to take his medicine this morning. He curse quietly under his breath as he realized this.

Vianna joined Ferris underneath the shade of the tree, taking a seat next to the boy. She leaned back against the trunk of the tree as he did and looked up as Fluffy climbed the branches up above. It seemed he was getting better and better with tree-climbing everyday. The young girl grinned up at the sight of her beloved pet before turning to Ferris. But the grin faded from her face as she read the discomfort in his features. "Professor! Are you okay? Are you hu--" but she stopped abruptly as she remembered - his back. Vianna's eyes widened; how could she have forgotten? "Did you bring your medicine with you yesterday?" she asked him, her forehead beginning to crease slightly in worry.

Ferris turned his eyes to Vianna as the girl suddenly realized that he was in pain, beginning to ask if he was hurt when she realized that his back was bothering him. He gave a small nod, slight grimace still on his face, as she asked if he had brought his medicine with him yesterday. "Yeah, I have it," he told her, "It's somewhere in my bag in the hotel I think," he added. Realizing something, he quickly removed his hand from his back as though it would lessen the amount of pain he revealed to the girl, "But don't worry about it, I'll get it later," he said, hoping she wouldn't make them go back just yet. He put a weak smile onto his face, "I'm fine."

Vianna seemed relieved as Ferris told her he had, indeed, brought the medicine with him. But her gaze turned disapproving and she furrowed her brows at the boy as he told her not to worry about it and that he would get it later. "Professor, the doctor said you have to take your medicine everyday, you can't be irresponsible about it!" she told him. But scolding the boy wouldn't make his back any better, so Vianna left it at that, now moving on to the idea of getting the medicine. "Do you think you could apparate back to the hotel and get it?" she asked him. "I'd do it, but I don't have my license..." she muttered, cringing slightly at the thought of losing an arm or a leg, as were the risks for apparating without enough practice or a license.

Ferris looked away with a weak smile as she scolded him, reminding him that the doctor said to take his medicine everyday, that he couldn't be irresponsible about it. "I know," he said before watching the girl as she asked him to apparate back to the hotel and get it, mentioning how she would do it herself but she didn't have her license. Studying her cringing expression for a moment with furrowed brows, he just gave a nod, deciding it would put Vianna's mind at ease, at least. He stood up, taking out his wand and concentrating for a moment before apparating out of sight. He returned about three minutes later, having taken his medicine in the hotel room, but the horrible sensation of apparating had not done his back any good and he returned with great pain. Quickly trying to cover it in fear that Vianna would overreact, he put on a weak smile and ignored the excruciating shooting pain going up and down his spine.

Vianna watched Ferris disapparate out of sight and sighed softly to herself, leaning back against the trunk of the tree as she had sat up slightly when she was scolding the boy. She looked up at the branches of the tree once more, absentmindedly watching her squirrel climb from one branch to the other with amazing speed and grace. But her gaze left the little squirrel as Ferris then returned. Vianna beamed up at the boy, as if she hadn't seen him in ages. "Better?" she asked him, her eyes squinting slightly at the sunlight.

Ferris could only manage a nod and that awkward weak smile on his face in response to the girl, now dealing with the task of returning to his spot and sitting down. He thought for a moment before taking a step as he normally would; pain. Refraining from wincing aloud, he kept his calm face with difficulty and took the last two steps to the tree, turning around before sitting down very slowly, each few inches of movement resulting in pain. He finally managed to sit though, letting out a final wince before turning to Vianna and giving her a small smile, as though nothing weird had just happened.

Vianna smiled up at Ferris as the boy made his way over to her to sit beside her. However, his unusually slow pace and calculated movements made the girl's smile turn into a suspicious frown. As he finally sat on the grass and let out a wince, her suspicions were confirmed. "Professor, you're the worst actor I've ever met," she told him seriously, examining his face before continuing, "What happened? Did you hurt yourself in the room?" she asked him, seeing this as a high possibility as the boy wasn't necessarily the most graceful.

"Hey," Ferris said defensively, though he wasn't particularly offended, as Vianna told him he was the worst actor she had ever met. He let out a sigh though, as the girl had obviously seen right through his act and asked if he had hurt himself in the room. "No, not in the room," he confessed, eyes roaming around the park for a moment before returning to her. "Apparating...isn't the most gentle thing on the body. And....my back really really didn't take to it," he added with a weak, humorless chuckle. He didn't want to get her worried though, he didn't like having people fussing over him.

Vianna's eyes widened slightly as Ferris explained that it had been precisely the apparating that had made him go from bad to worse. The young girl slumped slightly as the guilt showered over her like a bad thunderstorm. "I should've gone, I'm sorry," she muttered, now picking at the grass by her feet as she often did, the overenthusiastic cheerfulness that was so common of her completely gone from her eyes. But maybe if she had just apparated that one time, the boy beside her wouldn't be in so much pain.

Eyes widening completely, Ferris quickly shook his head as he realized the conclusion Vianna had come to; that somehow in a warped universe, this was her fault. "No, no, Vi, I wouldn't have let you gone if you tried," he assured her quickly, eyes now sorrowful that he couldn't hide his pain better and put the girl through so much guilt. "I don't want you hurting anything either," he told her, and he quickly straightened up as though to make up for his lack of acting before. He sucked up the pain he received from it, giving the girl a small smile.

Vianna looked up from the pieces of grass she had been fidgeting with as Ferris spoke, assuring her that he wouldn't have let her gone even if she tried and he didn't want her hurting anything either. "I didn't have to apparate, I could've run back," she said, unusually negative and contradicting. Her brows furrowed as Ferris straightened up and gave her a smile, but she wasn't falling for it again. "Please don't do anything that would make the pain worse, Professor," she told him, forehead creasing slightly before letting her gaze return to the grass.

Ferris frowned slightly at her negative response, telling him that she could've run back to the hotel in order to get his medicine. "I wouldn't have let you done that either," he pointed out softly, listening as she told him to not to anything to make the pain worse, feeling bad for making her feel guilty. He gently leaned back against the tree as that seemed like the best decision right now, and it did make his back feel a little better. He watched her for a moment, before slowly letting his hand rest on top of her fidgeting one, forcing it to stop playing with grass. "Come back here," he said quietly to the girl next to him, instructing her to lay back against the tree with him.

Vianna sighed softly to herself as Ferris told her he wouldn't have let her go running back to the hotel either, but said nothing, continuing on with her destruction of the defenseless grass surrounding her. But she looked up as Ferris's hand fell upon hers, keeping her from continuing with her fidgeting. She watched him for a moment and did as he instructed, leaning back against the tree once again. She looked down at the grass absentmindedly before gazing at the other people walking around the park.

Ferris, frown still evident on his face, watched as the girl leaned back silently, still obviously upset and guilty. He gently reached an arm around her, pulling her softly into his chest while being careful not to stretch his back too much. He rested his chin on her shoulder as he so often did before kissing her cheek. He continued to place a soft kiss on her temple and the side of her jaw, letting out a small smile, "Am I going to have to get you another squirrel to make you feel better?" he asked her jokingly.
