This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

A wave of relief wept through Vianna as she heard Ferris's voice telling her who he was and how he hadn't meant to wake her up. The young girl smiled, though she still had that drowsiness that comes when one is just waking up. "It's okay, Professor," she said, scooting further to her left. "Come," she added, patting the space left on the bed as Ferris usually did when he wanted her to sit next to him.

Ferris listened as Vianna told him it was alright, scooting over before patting the space left on the bed next to her, instructing him to come over. He smiled slightly before crawling up into the bed, sitting down next to her and folding his hands on his lap as he tried to keep them warm and still. He looked over at the girl right next to him, studying her features in what little light they had coming in through the window, his features a little sullen. But he was feeling the warmth just from being next to the girl, and knowing she was there awake with him for the time being kept the loneliness at bay.

Vianna smiled up at the boy that was now beside her, her eyes only beginning to adjust to the very low and dim light the moon and outside street lamps provided them with. But once her eyes were able to see more clearly and she saw the expression on Ferris's face, her smile faded. "What's wrong?" she asked, her forehead creasing slightly as she looked up at him. He was so tall, but he felt so small as he sat next to her in the bed looking like a little boy who had escaped his room in fear of imaginary monsters and ghosts.

Ferris thought for a moment before responding to her question of what was wrong, "I can't go back to sleep," he told her softly, his brown eyes going from her down to his folded hands. "I had a nightmare," he explained in an even quieter tone, feeling like an idiot for even saying the words. What seventeen year old boy couldn't take a nightmare? He felt foolish and shook his head, not able to meet her eyes, "I'm sorry, it's stupid, I shouldn't have come. I-I didn't want to keep you from your sleep," he rambled to the girl next to him.

Vianna listened attentively as Ferris explained that he wasn't able to go back to sleep because he'd had a nightmare. The young girl felt guilty for the slightest hint of amusement that came to her at hearing his words, it was rather cute that he would come to her to escape his nightmares. But all amusement was quickly washed away as Ferris went on, apologizing and rambling on about how he shouldn't have come to her room. Vianna looked down from his face and to his hands, taking one of them into her own much smaller hand. "I'm glad you came, it's a nice surprise," she told him, looking up at him once again and letting another smile come to her face. "You can stay for as long as you need to feel better, Professor."

Ferris looked back to her as she took his hand, immediately feeling the contrast between his cold fingers and her warm touch. He listened as she told him that she was glad he came, that it was a nice surprise and he could stay for as long as he needed to. He watched her for a moment, a soft smile coming onto his face before he leaned down to place a small kiss on her cheek, "Thanks Vi," he said. He was enjoying the warmth he got from his hand that now wasn't shaking due to the fact that it was intwined with her smaller one and leaned back into the pillows slowly, still having that pit of fear in his stomach. But the loneliness he had felt to such an extent before was nearly gone with the presence of Vianna sitting next to him.

"You're very welcome, Professor," replied Vianna with a smile as Ferris thanked her for letting him stay. She glanced down at their intwined hands for a moment before looking up again as something small and brown shot out from the pillows as Ferris leaned back; it was Fluffy avoiding being squished alive. The young girl grinned at the sight of her pet who had loyally come to keep her company through the night. "Fluffy," she said, patting her lap with her free hand and giving the squirrel an overjoyed and admiring smile as the small creature made its way over to her. She stroke Fluffy's fur absentmindedly as he curled up on her lap and turned to Ferris again. "Would you like to share your bad dream or would you rather not talk about it, Professor?" she asked him.

Ferris didn't notice as a little brown thing jumped up from behind him and only remembered that Fluffy was in the room when Vianna said his name and called him over to her lap. He gave a soft, humorless chuckle as the little squirrel made its way to Vianna, settling down on her lap and getting his fur stroked lovingly. He looked up from the squirrel to the girl next to him as she asked if he wanted to talk about the dream or not, and his brows furrowed slightly as he looked to their hands. Did he? Keeping the ideal of it all locked up inside him probably wasn't the best idea, but he wasn't quite sure if he wanted to explain it out loud either. Finally, as he came to the decision to speak of it, he started slowly, "I guess." Sorting out his thoughts, he finally began, "It was really all of my worst nightmares in one," he let out a sigh, not knowing how to start. "Well, we got back to camp and the kidnappers were gone, or for some reason we thought they were. And we started wandering around camp, but none of the other students were there..."

Vianna watched Ferris as he seemed to go through an internal debate before deciding he would tell her about his nightmare. The young girl's eyebrows rose slightly as he explained that it was like all of his worst nightmares in one; she gave him a sympathetic look but it was barely visible under the darkness they were wrapped in. Her eyes absentmindedly wandered back to Fluffy as the boy began narrating his dream, listening attentively to his words. When he mentioned that they had gotten back to camp, but none of the other students were there, she turned to him once again. "And then what happened?"

What happened next? Well, in the dream Ned had come out of nowhere and taken Vianna's other hand, pulling her away from him and he was left alone. But he didn't want to expose Ned's true feelings for Vianna, knowing that there was no point to it other than embarrassing the boy. "W-Well, there was this guy. This attractive young guy who took your hand and took you away from me," he explained slowly. It truly was one of his worst fears, that Ned would come along and let Vianna know that he loved her. Then, Vianna might realize she wanted a handsome quidditch player after all, and that haunted him. But the worst hadn't even come yet. "And then...There were professors all around. They had Vince, and Victor and Jack, and everyone else, except for you a-and this guy."

Vianna's brows rose and then furrowed as Ferris explained how in his dream an attractive young guy had taken her away. She looked down at Fluffy again, not quite sure how a scene like that could have even made it into one of Ferris's dreams, as it seemed too far from reality. To her, anyway. Her forehead creased slightly as the boy then mentioned the professors and how they had taken her brothers and the others away; now the nightmare really was beginning to sound frightful. Being caught was everyone's biggest fear at the moment. She looked up at Ferris expectantly, waiting to hear the rest though not feeling too thrilled about it either.

"They caught me, and took me down underground like before. Th-they had mum down there, and everyone else, captured, tied to chairs," he explained slowly and quietly, his brown eyes staring at their hands sadly. It took him a while to continue, as the next part was one of the worst. "A-And then they started killing. One by one. First, my mother then your brothers and Jack, just down the line like it was a sick game for them." He shook his head slightly, shuddering as he remembered the nightmare. "The only thing that was possibly good was that you weren't there, you weren't getting killed. Until, that guy who took you away...he brought you to them," he swallowed, clearing his throat with his brows furrowed as he struggled to continue. "A-And then, they...they killed you. Right in front of me," his voice was close to a whisper now, his brown eyes sad. "And then they killed me."

Vianna listened as Ferris continued sharing his dream, mentioning how the group had been taken underground and tied to chairs; she cringed slightly at the mention of Mrs. Montgomery, knowing that was another great fear everyone had - that their parents were caught or harmed by the professors. But just when she thought the boy's nightmare couldn't possibly get any worse, it did. Vianna grimaced down at Fluffy as the boy now explained how the kidnappers began killing everyone they had captured, starting off with his mother, then her brothers, and Jack and the rest. She looked up at him once more, her features obviously horrified with what she was hearing. And then Ferris explained how the guy that had taken her away earlier brought her down to the professors as well where she was killed before Ferris himself was killed as well. Vianna's eyes widened slightly and she looked down at Fluffy again, her expression as if she had just eaten one of Vince's imaginary fried snails. She remained silent for a moment, calming herself before turning to Ferris again, her hand tightening its grip around his slightly. "Well there's one good thing to all of that... it was just a dream. And none of us have been killed; instead, we're sitting in a warm comfy bed telling and listening to horror stories," she said, smiling faintly before letting her eyes fall to their hands absentmindedly. "I'm not going anywhere, Professor," she said before letting her head rest on his shoulder.

At her words, Ferris looked up from their hands, his face obviously still scared and worried. Only Vianna could make light of hearing things like that, the only person who could ever get him to try and forget about it. But right after retelling it, the images were fresh in his mind and they tortured him as he recalled his dream, the killings, Vianna dying especially brought him a sharp stab. I was bad when anyone on the planet had a bad dream about their loved ones dying, and usually it would be in some random place that had nothing to do with their current situation, and they would eventually get over it. But the worst part for Ferris was that this was all too real, that the possibilities of that happening were all too likely, and he couldn't get the possible deaths of everyone out of his mind. But when Vianna rested her head on his shoulder, assuring him that she wouldn't be going anywhere, it brought a sense of.....home? A sense of something comfortable and warm and familiar, a tiny spark of something happy. Ferris hoped with all of himself that what she said would be true, he couldn't stand the thought of leaving her now. He reached an arm around her, pulling her into his side like a child would pull in a comforting stuffed animal, his sullen face next to hers as he gently rested his chin on her shoulder. Through all of this, another thing stood out more than anything else. That feeling when Ned took Vianna away from him in the dream, the feeling of hopelessness. But then, when he was kidnapped, a feeling of sorrow that he had been correct; that if Vianna had gone with another boy, one in less danger, she might be less threatened by the kidnappers. Of course, she was brought to them anyway, but before that he remembered so clearly the feeling of such sorrow that she was better off with someone else. That after all they had been through, he couldn't protect her.

Vianna's gaze continued watching their hands absentmindedly, her mind unwillingly reminding her of everything she had just heard, making it impossible to push it aside. It was probably the most frightening horror story she had ever heard, but what bothered her the most was that Ferris had to live through it all - even if it was just in his mind - by himself, that once again he was in some dark unhappy world and she wasn't there to help him out of it. But one thing still brightened her spirits - it was just a dream, it hadn't really happened, and though it was for the most part based on real-life facts, it was something that just seemed far from happening; at least in her naively positive mind. "I'm really happy you came, Professor," she said suddenly after moments of silence. "That you came to me for comfort..." She then chuckled softly. "It's like when you're little and sneak to your parents' room after hearing something behind the closet doors, y'know?"

Ferris was brought out of his thoughts as Vianna spoke once more, saying she was glad that he had come to her for comfort. He let a faint smile cross his face as she compared it to being a little kid that sneaks into their parents' bedroom after hearing a noise in the closet. He was glad she wasn't upset that he had disrupted her sleeping, or annoyed that he had snuck in here, but rather just what he needed; a comforting person he could always come to. "You...You're kind of my little rock," he told her quietly, a hint of a smile on his face. "I really needed you tonight, still need you," he explained softly. "You're the only one I wanted to see."

Vianna smiled brightly at Ferris's words and pulled herself slightly from his grasp, so she could look up at him. "You have no idea how happy that makes me, Professor," she told him before giving the boy a kiss on the cheek as she often did when she found him to be ridiculously adorable. She watched him for a moment, still smiling, before returning her head to his shoulder and letting her eyes wander to an aggravated Fluffy standing on her lap. It seemed the squirrel was having trouble sleeping with the other two talking and moving around.

Ferris was slightly surprised as she pulled herself up, but then a genuine smile fell onto his face a she told him he wasn't aware of how happy that made her before giving him a kiss on the cheek. He felt the heat rising from his neck, creeping a pink tint onto his normally pale cheeks as he smiled at the girl who was now returning to her position next to him. His once freezing hands were now warm, one intwined tightly with hers and the other one resting on the side of her small waist, holding the girl gently next to him. Ferris didn't seem to notice the aggravated Fluffy just yet, his main focus on this amazing girl next to him. "How is it that you can make me go from completely miserable to this in less than two minutes?" he asked her softly, thinking aloud without meaning to. It was like she was a beam of light, driving away all of the dark nightmares.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris spoke, her free hand now petting her annoyed little pet who reluctantly returned to her lap, ever the spoiled little one. "I told you I was a miracle worker!" she replied, as if this was obvious, before laughing lightly once more. She paused for a moment and more seriously added, "It's only fair... you always make me feel happy and loved and special; I want to make you feel like that, too."

Ferris let out a soft chuckle as she explained to him that she was the miracle worker she always claimed to be, "Yes, of course, I nearly forgot." He watched as Fluffy climbed back onto her lap, listening as she spoke, telling him that it was only fair, that he made her feel happy and loved and special always. His eyebrows rose and a nice feeling ran through him, happy he could make the girl feel this way. "I do?" he said softly. She sometimes told him, and he sometimes realized that he could make her feel this way, but it was so nice to hear. No one had ever said that he made them feel special or loved before, not in the sense or with the same loving as Vianna said it anyway.

Vianna chuckled softly as Ferris mentioned he had almost forgotten her role as a miracle worker before expressing disbelief at her following statement on the ways he made her feel. "You do," she confirmed, nodding her head slightly. The young girl continued petting her squirrel absentmindedly for a moment before lifting her head from Ferris's shoulder and looking up at him again. "Are you sleepy, Professor?" she asked, a smile coming to her face.

Ferris smiled down at her as she confirmed that he made her feel good, before thinking as she asked if he was sleepy. "Not really," he told her honestly; the dream had given him quite the scare and shook out a lot of his tiredness. Though, in this warm bed, he was getting into the stage of extreme comfortability. "Don't let me keep you from sleeping though, Vi," he added quickly, realizing she might feel the need to stay up with him.

"Huh? Oh, no, no, I'm not sleepy," said Vianna shaking her head slightly as Ferris assured her she could go back to sleep if she wanted to. "I was just wondering if you wanted to do something," she explained, "Something to distract your mind." She felt pretty confident that Ferris probably wasn't as disturbed about his nightmare right now as he had been when he first came into her room, but she figured having their minds at rest wasn't necessarily the best way to forget something as it could return to mind at any moment.

Ferris was surprised as she told him that she wasn't sleepy as he assumed she would be, but was happy none the less that the girl would be able to stay awake with him for a little while longer. His eyebrows rose slightly as she said she was wondering if he wanted to do something, "Like what?" he asked. He didn't want to just let his mind sit here and mull over his dream, but he didn't exactly feel like going out of his comfort zone any more that night. Walking around the streets at night seemed like a little too much for his so recently calmed nerves.

"I have no idea," Vianna replied honestly. "Do I ever actually plan anything before proposing it?" she said with a soft chuckle. "But if you're hungry, we could finish off the marshmallows." Her eyes then left his and glanced at their intwined hands for a moment before adding, "And I could take off that nail polish." She chuckled softly once more, shaking her head slightly. "I think Vince accusing you of being gay is more than enough teasing for these."
