This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

"My back was messed up before anyway," Ferris said with a small shrug, not seeming to be as concerned as Vianna was. He nodded though as she asked if he had taken his medicine, "Yes, I did it when I came down a few minutes ago." He studied her features for a moment, enjoying the comfortable silence before leaning forward and kissing her forehead, "If I stay here any longer either your brothers will kill me or I'm going to fall back asleep," he told her with a light chuckle before getting up from her bed and stretching with a yawn.

"Good!" said Vianna, the smile returning to her face as Ferris let her know he had taken his medicine a few minutes ago. She chuckled nervously as the boy turned quiet, simply studying her for a moment before leaning over and kissing her forehead. The young girl then giggled and nodded understandingly as he mentioned her brothers before getting up from the bed. Vianna yawned and sat up, feeling a whole lot more awake now. She took a moment to stretch lazily and let out another yawn before getting up and joining her brothers in the kitchen, sitting across from them.

After having had a shower, Kayla walked into the kitchen, brushing back her shiny hair with her fingers. She glanced around with a usual smirk, not seeming very much tired. "Morning," she said simply, sitting down at the table. She had had a relatively good sleep, and was refreshed for the most part.

Jamie was not, however, so gracious. He was groggily getting up, still. He had slept fine, but he just never wanted to get up in the morning. Kayla just said he was lazy, but any amount of sleep just really wasn't enough for him.

"Good morning," replied all three siblings in unison as Kayla walked into the kitchen. Vianna was eating in large, quick bites; she felt rather rushed and hurried for waking up later than the others, though her brothers were still taking their sweet time with their breakfasts and there was no real hurry. Once finished with her breakfast, Vianna left the room to shower and get ready.

The brothers watched their rushed little sister and returned to their plates. Victor figured this would be a good time to let the others know where they were heading. "We're going to France today," he said rather bluntly, out of the blue.

Kayla nodded to the three siblings. She glanced at Vianna as she left hurriedly. raising an eyebrow, but shook it off. Kayla was grabbing some breakfast, when Victor spoke. "France?" She asked, looking at him. She didn't really seem to mind, but she was somewhat curious. "When are we leaving?"

Jamie walked into the room then, more just falling down onto an empty chair, then sitting. "Mornin," he mumbled, instantly reaching for his breakfast. He was half asleep, so he wasn't really paying attention to what Kayla was saying.

Jack gave a little grunt of acknowledgement as he slumped onto a chair at the table. Obviously he perked up immediately hearing the words France. "FRANCE?" That woke himself up. Woke himself right up. "Who? What? FRANCE?" Way to freakout Jackie dear. Sleeping was needed here. He wasn't ready for news. "France..." He whispered finally, his sleep getting the better of his vocals.

"Good morning," replied the boys in unison as the sleepy Jamie walked into the room. Victor then returned his attention to Kayla and answered her earlier question with a, "Today, now." He then added, "So gather your things, make sure you don't forget anything 'cause we probably won't be back for... who knows how long."

"Yeah France," confirmed Vince as Jack seemed to get an attack at hearing the news. The Italian boy wasn't nearly half as enthusiastic, though. "I hear the French don't shower for days. And they eat snails, it's disgusting! Not only that, but they have the worst Quidditch team in the world. Pathetic lot..." he trailed off, making a face as he picked on his food, unusually lacking appetite.

Looking first at Jamie, and then at Jack, Kayla chuckled. "Calm down, Jack." She said. She couldn't really see what was so bad about going to France. It was just another place. "Okay," she said, nodding. It didn't mind her because, really, they had been moving around a bit.

Stopping midchew, Jamie glanced at Jack freaking out, and then at Victor. "Huh," he said after swallowing, quite a bit more alert now. So, they were going to France. He started eating a bit more quickly, if that was at all possible.

"But.. but why? Why cant we stay here? I like it heeeere..." Jack whined, noting down his childishness himself. He was overreacting. But FRANCE? He had been on holiday there once. They didnt have his favourite foods. "They dont have cheesy mash and doughnuts.. I want cheesy mash and doughnuts...." Childish whines continued.

"We're on the run, Tamworth, not on a vacation. We can't stay here forever, the kidnappers would eventually find us," said Victor, his tone stern and unfriendly as he addressed the childish Jack. "However, if you'd rather stay here and be kidnapped... be my guest."

Vince gave his brother a look and turned to the others. "No one's staying, we're all leaving together," he said, ignoring the disapproving look his older brother was now shooting at him. "We can't leave anyone behind, the kidnappers already g--" but he stopped abruptly before accidentally slipping the news about Ned. His eyes widened slightly and he cleared his throat before stuffing his mouth with as much food as he could before anyone questioned him. Victor merely sighed at his brother's clumsiness but said nothing.

Kayla, who was rather alert today, shot a look towards Vince. "The kidnappers already... What?" She asked. Usually when Vince was like that he was being thoughtless, and said things without thinking.

"Wha'?" said Vince, his voice muffled under the twenty pounds worth of food stuffed into his mouth. He grinned, knowing the sight of him like this would completely disgust Kayla and hopefully distract her from what he had almost said earlier. "Ionnowhuyou'retulkinbout."

"Ew," Kayla said, typical of her, looking away from Vince because it was disgusting. But now Jamie had looked up, and it pulled her from being distracted. Shaking her head, she looked straight at Vince determinedly. "Don't you?" She said, obvious disbelief in her words.

Vince was done chewing by now and his voice was back to normal when he frowned at Kayla, saying, "Don't I what?" But before the girl had a chance to speak again, he had already gotten up to his feet, taking his empty plate in his hands and heading over to the sink to wash the mess, like an obedient little boy.

Vianna returned then, her waist-long brown hair still soaked as she rolled it up to a bun. "Good morning, Jamie," she said, smiling at the boy before turning to the group overall. "Are you guys almost ready?"

Ferris had wandered back into the kitchen soon after Vianna, not sitting down but instead leaning back against one of the counters. He didn't have much of an appetite this morning, so he just kept a piece of toast in one hand, taking a small bite from it every once in a while between sips of water. He gazed around the kitchen, not paying much attention to the others, and he felt a slightly sentimental feeling towards the place, not sure of when he would be returning. He shook off the thought, telling himself he'd get back here soon enough, and his brown eyes found Vianna as she entered. Ferris listened as she asked if they were ready, and he simply nodded in response.

Mrs. Montgomery marched down the stairs, a small leather pouch in her hands that she handed to Ferris, whispering something in his ear. She gave him a small smile and stood next to him as she watched the group, "Everyone ready to go?" she asked with a smile.

The siblings turned their attention to Mrs. Montgomery as she entered the room and asked if everyone was ready. "I think so... I just have to get Fluffy," said Vianna, not finding the energy to return the woman's smile. She wanted to, but found absolutely nothing worth smiling about in this horrible situation. She then glanced around at the others for confirmation.

"Wait, what?! The rat's coming with us?! Why!?" came Vince's voice all of a sudden, his crystal blue eyes wide on his face. Vianna shot a glare in her brother's direction but said nothing.

Victor ignored the other two. "Yeah, we're ready to go," he said to Mrs. Montgomery, getting up from his seat. He paused there for a moment, growing incredibly uncomfortable in the situation, but hid it well. "Thank you for letting us stay all this time, Mrs. Montgomery."

Mrs. Montgomery gave a faint smile at Vince's outburst and nodded to Vianna before turning to Victor. She gave him a warm smile before embracing him into a hug, "You're very welcome, anytime," she said before releasing him and turning to Vince. "Now Vince, make sure you make friends with that squirrel. Otherwise that death glare your sister has is going to burn a hole in your head," she instructed with another small smile. "And take care of yourself," she added before embracing this boy just as she had done with Victor. Mrs. Montgomery released him a moment later, giving him a weak smile before doing the same with all the kids. Hugs for everyone, starting with Jack, then Kayla, and Jamie of course. She returned to her spot next to her now-quiet son as she waited for Vianna to return.

Victor's eyes widened slightly as Mrs. Montgomery embraced him in a hug; he hadn't expected it, but welcomed the gesture nonetheless, hugging the short woman back. He watched as she pulled away and then headed over to Vince, who still had an expression of pure horror on his face. He blinked, blank-faced as Mrs. Montgomery started addressing him, but laughed as she finished, warning him that Vianna's glare was going to burn a hole in his head. "I'll try my best to get alone with the ra-- squirrel, Mrs. M," he said with a nod before hugging the woman tightly as she embraced him. The gesture brought a slight feel of melancholy as it began dawning on him that no one knew for sure when any of them would see this house or Mrs. Montgomery again.

Vianna returned a moment later, her hyperactive little pet jumping around in its cage. She glanced around the group that now stood quiet, the air in the room rather melancholy and somewhat depressing, as if they were attending a funeral. "Um..."

Mrs. Montgomery smiled slightly at the sight of Vianna, walking over to her and ignoring the tension in the room. "Now, you Vianna. You make sure to take care of yourself," she said with a warm smile, though on the inside she wasn't feeling very happy or chipper, and somewhere behind her smile reflected that. "Make sure Ferris doesn't do anything stupid, keep him in line for me, would you?" she said before pulling Vianna into a hug just as she had done with everyone else.

The tension and the depressing feel to the room was too much for Ferris to bare. He didn't want to deal with any of this, he didn't want to have to leave his home and his mother. He set down his glass of water and his toast before exiting the kitchen without a word.

Vianna listened quietly as Mrs. Montgomery addressed her, telling her to take care of herself and make sure that her son didn't do anything stupid. The young girl gave the woman her best attempt at a smile before hugging her back as Mrs. Montgomery pulled her into a hug. "I promise to watch over him, Mrs. M," she said, hugging the woman tightly for a moment before pulling back. In a way, Mrs. Montgomery had become like a substitute mother not only for her but for her brothers too and it was clear by the looks on the siblings' faces that none of them were enjoying this good-bye.

Victor watched as Ferris then left the scene before turning to his sister. "We should get going, it's going to be a long trip," he said before turning his gaze to Mrs. Montgomery. "I promise we'll do our best to take care of your son, Mrs. Montgomery. We'll bring him back; it might take weeks or months... but we'll bring him back," he said, his voice confident but his eyes worried about the responsibility in his hands.

Mrs. Montgomery gave another weak smile to Vianna before turning to Victor as he spoke, promising that they would be brought back no matter how long it might take. She walked over to the boy and gave him another hug, the emotion she had been holding in now evident in her eyes. "Thank you," she said, before releasing him. She let out a sigh and wiped her eyes quickly, clearing her throat before smiling weakly at the group. "I'm going to go get Ferris, you all can head out front with the brooms if you want. We shouldn't be long," she said with a nod before walking outside to join her son.

Ferris turned around to see his mother, and as she joined his side, he gave her a warm hug, holding each other in mutual sorrow for a few moments. They both released, giving a small smile to each other and wiping any tears that might have fallen and exchanging a few words before heading back inside.

OOC: I'm off for a while Dee! Hopefully I'll be back on later tonight!

Victor and Vianna returned Mrs. Montgomery's weak smile; Vianna's clearly forced and rather melancholy, while Victor's was well-trained and cheery-looking enough. Though the boy was far from cheery inside. He nodded as Mrs. Montgomery told them to go ahead and head out while she went to get her son. "Right. C'mon," muttered Victor, turning to the group before leading the way out and grabbing his broom on the way. Vince and Vianna followed, neither half as good at acting as their brother and their expressions made their feelings beyond obvious. Neither one of them was looking forward to this trip, and neither one of them was happy to leave.

Once outside, the boys mounted their brooms and hovered in the air while Vianna remained a couple of steps behind, still standing on the ground as she waited for Ferris to come out and join the rest of them.

Ferris walked outside with his mother, squinting as his brown eyes met the bright sunlight of the early morning. He looked around for a moment before giving another smile to his mother and heading over to Vianna's side, broom in hand, and the smile he had for his mother now reduced to a rather serene half-frown. He gently slipped his hand into Vianna's, surprisingly having missed it's warmth and support though he had only been disconnected from it for a little while. "Are you riding with me again Vi?" he asked her.

Vianna couldn't help but smile faintly as Ferris returned, her mood brightening considerably with his presence. "Oh, uh..." she glanced at the broom and Fluffy's cage in her other hand and turned back to Ferris. "We'd be left with an extra broom," she said, frowning slightly. But the faint smile soon returned to her face. "But I'll ride next to you."

Ferris, half of his mind concerned with other matters, gave a light chuckle as Vianna mentioned that she had her own broom this time. "Oh, right, I nearly forgot," he said with a small shake of his curly head. He gave a weak smile to her before releasing her small hand, mounting his own broom and hovering a couple feet into the air. He wasn't looking forward to this long flight at all, he was sure that there was a good possibility of him falling asleep.
