This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

Woo-hoo! An early summer all for yourself, right? Wrong.

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Fluffy's dark eyes left Ferris and focused on the marshmallow in his hand instead. He watched as the boy moved it around, which only encouraged the squirrel to jump for it and snatch it away. However, he had a whole body of water standing between him and his favourite snack, and it made the squirrel turn hesitant. Fluffy took a couple steps forward, his tiny feet now covered in water. He stood there and continued watching the other two, wondering why they didn't come to him. Vianna watched her squirrel with a slightly creased forehead; she could tell perfectly well that Fluffy wanted the marshmallow brought to him as he saw the water as an obstacle, and it made her feel rather guilty not being able to give her squirrel what it wanted. "C'mon, Fluffy, just come a little closer. I promise you can have a whole bag of marshmallows to yourself if you come get this one," she told the squirrel with a faint smile; Fluffy merely watched her and took another step into the water, though he didn't go any further than that.

Ferris gave a hopeful nod as the squirrel took another couple steps into the water, turning his eyes briefly to Vianna as she promised her pet the whole bag if he could come get this one marshmallow. The boy let out a soft chuckle before turning his eyes back to Fluffy to see him go one more step in and pause, obviously freaked out. "Alright, I'll get a little closer," he compromised softly before taking a couple steps forward so now there was just a few yards of water in between Fluffy and the marshmallow.

Vianna watched Fluffy with mild concern, slowly growing a bit worried about her precious pet drowning. Fluffy, instead, had all his concentration on the snack in Ferris's hand. He watched the boy come closer to him and examined him for a moment, debating whether to jump into the water and get the marshmallow or not. Fluffy remained quite still for about a minute before suddenly turning around and running back to the tree at top speed. He then hopped onto the second bag of marshmallows - the one shaped like little squirrels - and began to pull at it with his paws, deciding that if he couldn't have that one marshmallow, he'd just figure out a way to open a brand new bag.

Ferris was starting to get very hopeful about their chances of getting Fluffy in the water when that squirrel turned around and darted back to the tree, obviously trying to dig his way into a new bag. The boy scowled with frustration, sure they had had him that time, and ate the marshmallows himself before dunking down into the water. He resurfaced a moment later, shaking his hair which was now straight and stuck to his face a bit as he attempted to get a little water out of it. He turned to Vianna, "You're squirrel is going to drive me nuts." He paused for a moment, a quirky smile coming onto his face, "No pun intended."

Vianna's jaw dropped as her squirrel suddenly turned and ran away from them, off to try and get marshmallows from the other bag instead of taking the one Ferris had been offering him. She watched as Ferris got out of the water and let out an amused chuckle as he told her the squirrel was going to drive him nuts, though no pun was intended. She then disappeared under the water and reappeared near the shore a short moment later. "What're we going to do, then?" she asked, turning to Ferris for a moment before turning to Fluffy who was now biting at the marshmallows through the plastic bag.

Ferris thought for a moment, the gears in his mind obviously turning once more as he thought about their current situation with Fluffy. How would they get that squirrel to cooperate? But then it hit him, and his face lit up as he turned back to Vianna with a grin, "We have to cut off his resources," the boy said before running out of the water and over to the tree where Fluffy was still trying to get into the marshmallow bag. He took both bags of marshmallows and ran back into the water, letting the fully covered one drift in the water as it was well sealed, but holding the half opened bag above the water. "Fluffy!" he called.

Vianna's eyes widened slightly at Ferris's suggestion and she watched as Ferris ran out of the water to take the bags of marshmallows before running back. She felt a wave of guilt wash over her as Fluffy turned wide-eyed as his precious snacks were taken away and he was left empty-pawd. His dark eyes settled on the boy that was now back in the water holding the bags of marshmallows in his hands. He remained still for a moment before dashing in the couple's direction. Though, just like before, he came to an abrupt halt just by the shore, his tiny feet under the water as he watched the two teenagers.

Ferris, as though somehow aware of Vianna's slight worry, turned to her, "It's for his own good," he reassured, as though talking about something much more important than marshmallows and swimming lessons. He then turned back to the squirrel just on the shore, "Fluffy," he chided gently, swaying the bag of marshmallows back and forth as he had done before. "Do you want the marshmallows?" he asked with raised eyebrows. "Come get the marshmallows..."

Vianna gave Ferris a brief nod as he assured her that this was for Fluffy's own good and she returned her gaze to the squirrel standing by the shore. Fluffy watched Ferris sway the bag of marshmallows and became hesitant once again, this time aware that he couldn't run back and get more marshmallows, since all had been taken away. The baby squirrel continued watching quietly for a couple more moments before setting off into another run in that lightning-fast squirrel speed of his; this time straight into the water. Vianna's eyes widened and she let out an involuntary shriek, heading over to the spot where the squirrel had hopped into the water. But she stopped abruptly and her eyes widened further as Fluffy didn't disappear under the water, and his little head and his fluffy tail remained visible above the water. She watched him closely and noticed the squirrel was moving its paws almost in the same way a dog did when it was... swimming. "Is that-- is he-- is he swimming?!" she asked with disbelief, still very close to the squirrel just in case anything happened.

Ferris watched with hesitant and hopeful eyes as the squirrel seemed to consider his offer, and in the next instant Fluffy had hopped into the water at full speed. At the sound of Vianna's shriek just a second later the boy's eyes widened, afraid he had just killed his girlfriend's squirrel when he spotted a little head and tail sticking up from the water. He walked over there, an amused smile growing on his face as he observed his little paws swimming around, "Yeah, Vi, he's swimming," he answered with a laugh. "And he deserves some major marshmallows," he added, gently petting the squirrel's head, "Here you go little guy." And he handed him a large plain white marshmallow.

OOC: I'm off for twenty minutes or less!

But this was Fluffy's first time swimming, and he was unable to do so and hold the marshmallow at the same time. And besides, all the exercise was really beginning to wear him out; it was one thing to climb trees and run around on the ground but something completely different to swim in water. To the little squirrel, swimming was over twice the work than climbing trees was. And, able to see her squirrel's distress, Vianna took her precious pet into her hands. Fluffy lay motionless on her hands for a moment, catching his breath before sitting up and turning to Ferris. He leaned over, still on Vianna's hand, showing his interest for the snack the boy was awarding him. Vianna smiled and took the marshmallow into her hand, then handing it to her little squirrel, who took it into his paws and began devouring it. "My poor Fluffy..." she said with a sympathetic smile as her blue eyes watched the squirrel adoringly. "I think that was really tough for him."

Ferris's smile slowly faded from his expression as he watched the little squirrel struggle his way through the water, realizing that swimming was a difficult task for such a little guy. Eyes a little worried, he watched as Vianna picked Fluffy up and he laid down on her hand, obviously tired. He watched as the little creature started devouring the tiny marshmallow, and his brown eyes filled with guilt; starting to feel like a jerk for forcing the small creature into the water just to wear him out so much he could barely enjoy the treat he was getting. "I-I'm sorry Vi, I shouldn't have pushed him so much," he said softly as his eyes remained glued to the little squirrel, listening as Vianna mentioned 'her poor Fluffy'.

Vianna looked up from the squirrel in her hands and to the boy before her, listening as he apologized for bribing Fluffy into the water. "It's okay, Professor," she said, giving him a smile. "This is... it's good," she added with a nod. "Now I know that Fluffy can swim, I won't have to worry about him drowning anymore," she continued, giving Ferris a sympathetic look. She really didn't want the boy to feel guilty for something that was really no one's fault; and so she leaned on her toes and over to him, placing a kiss on his cheek.

Ferris listened as Vianna told him that it was okay, that this was a good thing. He gave a brief nod, his eyes still glued to Fluffy as she told him she knew that Fluffy could swim and she wouldn't have to worry about him drowning anymore. That was a good thing, he had to admit, as he was the one who put that image in her mind in the first place. But what made him really look up was the kiss to the cheek that she gave him, and he turned his eyes back to her with a small smile. It was funny how that small gesture could still get him smiling and his heartrate up. "I guess you're right," he agreed.

Vianna smiled widely as Ferris finally agreed with her, no longer beating himself up anymore when he hadn't even done anything wrong in the first place. "I think we should let him rest, though," she added, lowering her gaze to the furball sitting in her hands, who had just finished devouring the marshmallow awarded to him. Vianna's smile widened slightly at the sight of her precious squirrel soaked, but just when she started heading back to shore to let Fluffy rest, the squirrel hopped off her hands and back into the water. But this time he didn't start waving his paws in the water like a dog, this time he was laying on top of the water, with his back to it and his large round belly facing the other two. Vianna merely stared at the squirrel with large eyes and a blank expression, and after a couple moments of silence, she burst out, "Fluffy can float?!"

Ferris gave a nod as Vianna suggested that they let the squirrel rest a little bit, watching as the creature finished off the marshmallow that was his prize. The boy started wading in the water a little more as Vianna went to return Fluffy to the shore, waiting for her to return empty handed. But before she could even get to shore, the squirrel had hopped off her hands and was back in the water. Eyes wide, the boy stood back on his feet, about to swim over to catch the squirrel who must've been drowning at this point. But instead, he was met with the sight of a little baby squirrel floating atop the very clear water. Ferris let out a disbelieving laugh, his brown eyes sparkling at the sight and listening as Vianna expressed her own disbelief, "Fluffy can float," he boy confirmed with a grin. "I think he likes the water, Vi."

Vianna turned to Ferris as the boy joined her and Fluffy, and her eyebrows rose slightly as he mentioned that Fluffy seemed to like the water. But as amusing as the sight of a squirrel floating on its back was, the girl couldn't help but feel rather worried. "Isn't it dangerous, though? If he goes too far, he won't be able to swim back to shore... he gets tired too quickly," she said, her blue eyes returning to the squirrel that was slowly being carried away by the gentle current.

Ferris looked up from his admiring glance at the squirrel as Vianna spoke in a worried tone, mentioning how he could be carried away by the current and unable to swim back because he tired so quickly. The boy's smile faded just in time as he turned back to look at the squirrel who was slowly being pulled by the current. She had a point...He quickly turned back to her with furrowed brows. "Maybe...Maybe we'll just keep a close eye on him whenever he gets in.." he suggested softly, his mind already running over the problems that a swimming squirrel could run into. "Or maybe we should just keep him out of the water...."

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris spoke and then placed her hands in the water, just below Fluffy, pulling them out with the squirrel resting on them. It took Fluffy a moment to realize he was no longer floating, and he quickly sat up, dark eyes wide. Vianna gave her squirrel an apologetic smile and headed back to shore, letting the furry creature hop off her hands and disappear into the grass once again. She watched him go and turned to Ferris with an outstretched hand. "Marshmallows? I did promise him," she said with a small smile.

Ferris watched with thoughtful eyes as Vianna pulled the squirrel gently from the water, taking him back to shore before returning and asking for the marshmallows she had promised her squirrel. "Yeah, here," he said, gently handing her the open (and still dry, mind you) bag of marshmallows. He let out a small sigh before gently floating away from the girl, falling back into the water gently with a soft yawn. Finally, rather inspired by Fluffy, the boy decided to float on his back, pale chest up to the gleaming sunlight and his eyes closed as he relaxed onto the water.

"Thanks," said Vianna as Ferris handed her the bag of marshmallows. She then returned to shore and walked out for a moment, kneeling down by the tree where Fluffy was standing and placing the bag of marshmallows beside him. She opened it a little wider so the squirrel had easier access to the snacks, and he immediately dashed into the bag. Vianna giggled lightly at the sight and returned to the water a moment later, disappearing beneath it briefly before resurfacing a couple yards away from Ferris. She watched as he floated on his back, calm and at ease. The girl watched him for another moment and took a couple cautious steps in his direction, being careful not to make her presence obvious before tackling him down into the water. It was just difficult for her to see him so calm, it made her want to cause mischief all the time.

Ferris was completely calm and relaxed, his back resting lightly on the water as he rested in the sun. But before he had any time to observe her presence, Vianna had tackled him into the water, forcing the boy into the shallow depths of the pond. He quickly found his way to the surface, letting out a gasp for air as he got to his feet, as he hadn't had time to take a breath before he was shoved into the water. "Vianna Vincenzi!" he glared down at her as she too came up (I assume, feel free to yell at me for making such an assumption). And before she had any time to swim away as he was afraid she would, the boy clasped his lanky arm around her, forcing her to stay across from him. "You are a little mischievous 16-year-old who loves to disrupt her boyfriend," he informed her as though she might not have known this. He continued to glare at her, but he could help but show the slightest signs of amusement in his brown eyes.

Vianna resurfaced a few seconds after Ferris did, a long string of giggles escaping from her lips which were curved into an amused smile. She grew quieter as Ferris suddenly said her name, and a grin spread across her face. Giggling once again, the girl immediately turned, and she was just about to disappear under the water when Ferris's arm suddenly came along and forced her to stay. She turned to him as he continued, telling her she was mischievous sixteen-year-old who loved to disrupt her boyfriend. She couldn't help but laugh lightly at this, as it was entirely and completely true. "Well, it's not like I'm the only one who likes to disrupt people around here!" she said in her defense, a wide amused smile on her face. "I can think of someone else who shares this hobby with me, and he's standing right in front of me."

Ferris watched as the grinning girl still wrapped up in his arms spoke, telling him she wasn't the only one who liked to disrupt people and his eyebrows rose. He listened as she went on, letting him know that the boy in front of her shared her favorite hobby. "When do I ever try and disrupt you, Vi?" he asked of her, a mixture of confusion, amusement, and surprise in his eyes as he watched the girl before him.

Vianna raised her eyebrows slightly at the boy before him as he asked when he ever tried to disrupt her. "Well, let's see... how about when I'm trying to read -- well, when I was trying to read," she corrected herself, as reading wasn't something she did very often. At least not now that she had Ferris to keep her distracted 24/7. "Or when I'm trying to have breakfast in a diner," she added, referring to earlier that morning. But the wide amused smile always remained on her face, as she was obviously amused by these few times Ferris distracted her from what she was doing.
