This is a continued role-play created by hazydazy012, the other thread reached posting limit. From the previous thread:

One year at Hogwarts a mysterious spell was cast that not even the professors can undo. You wouldn't be able to see a difference at Hogwarts, just looking at the school, but it actually made magic impossible! Not a single person or creature could cast a spell while in the school. How are the students supposed to learn when they can't try out the new spells? Sure, most were devestated, (Especially the 7th years! How are they supposed to finish their last year?!) but of course, some were estatic too! Who doesn't want to have a longer summer vacation? So, most students go home in high spirits TWO months before Hogwarts was officially supposed to be let out for summer break. Only one week into their luxuriously long holiday, every student recieves this letter:

"It is mandatory for any students who want to complete their year to attend "La Bacchetta Magica", a summer learning camp for wizards located in a small getaway near Tuscany. You will be finishing up the studies that were unfinished at Hogwarts. Please bring your wand and other necessary items for regular classes."

Fantastic. Some are angry, but most are excited! I mean, it's called "The Magic Wand" in Italian, for goodness sakes. It's gotta be fun. And guess what?! It is! Everyone is having a great time with the mix of school and just plain summer camp fun! How will the Divinations in the morning and campfires at night affect the students? You decide!

Please join! There will need to be a few professors/camp counselors! Even number of boys and girls, please. Post a bio with a picture, thanks!

(P.S. I looked up "La Bacchetta Magica" and it told me "The Magic Wand" but it was only an online translator. If I'm wrong, then whoops! Heehee)

Ferris was watching the vile as though it might pull out a wand and curse the pair suddenly, his brown eyes a little wide as Vianna seemed to tighten her grip. But his attention was torn away from the small bottle as Vianna spoke disapprovingly, telling him that it would be a monster of a help if he didn't scare her like that again, as she had almost dropped the thing out of surprise. He analyzed her expression of a half moment before speaking, "I-Im sorry," he mumbled, trying to gather his wits back as he had been given quite the scare himself when Vianna nearly dropped the thing. "I was just trying to help-warn you..abo-about the blood." He gave a nod, not sure why he stuttered when he was freaked out, but he didn't like it. He quickly turned his gaze back to the cauldron and waited for Vianna to start, making sure to keep his mouth closed this time.

"That's alright," muttered Vianna after Ferris stuttered his way through an apology and then an explanation. She returned her attention to the cauldron before them and gave a short sigh. She had been perfectly relaxed a minute ago, but after that unexpected surprise and Ferris's warnings, the girl couldn't help feel a little nervous now, which didn't help much in their situation. She took a deep breath, as if this was a life-or-death task she was about to perform, and poured just the right amount of boar's blood from the small vial. She quickly pulled her hand back and closed the vial, paranoid about an extra drop spilling into the potion. "Alright," she said after a moment's silence, watching as the liquid in the potion began turning red. "Now the fur," she said, making a bit of a face.

Ferris watched with anxious eyes as Vianna very carefully poured the correct amount of boar's blood into the potion, letting out a small sigh of relief as she successfully did so without any extra spills. He looked over at her with a weak smile until she mentioned that the mink's fur was next, and it faded slightly. His brown eyes fell to the table where the fur rested still in its packaging, before turning back to Vianna, "Hey..Vi. Could you do me a huge favor?" he asked of her, "Could you just go grab me a giant glass of water from...your brothers' room's kitchen?" he asked with a weak smile. "I'd do it myself, but..uh..my hands...they're full," he quickly grabbed the mink's fur and the unicorn hair to fill up his hands, and gave her an innocent smile. The boy honestly didn't want her to have to be in the room for the addition of the fur, and he was anxious to send her off for a few minutes to spare her from what he knew upset her.

Vianna turned to Ferris as he suddenly spoke, asking her if she could do him a 'huge' favour and get him a 'giant' glass of water from her brothers' room. The girl blinked, completely caught off-guard by such a strange request; and it took her a moment to realize what was going on. She smiled, both grateful and amused by this. "I'll be fine, Professor," she told him with a reassuring nod. "It's not a big deal," she added, which of course was a bit of a lie but she didn't want to make something that was already complicated any worse by freaking out over small things. She then leaned on her toes and placed a kiss on the boy's cheek. "I appreciate it, though," she told him before returning her gaze to the cauldron.

Ferris watched with slightly raised eyebrows as the girl beside him told him she would be fine staying where she was, and he gave a weak smile, knowing his acting wasn't exactly the best. But it still bothered him to have her in the room while he did this, remembering how upset she was just to pick up the package back at the store. As he received a kiss to the cheek, with the comment that his efforts were appreciated, he gave a weak smile and a small nod, still trying to figure a way to get her to leave. Finding no other option than to let her stay, he let out a small sigh, turning back to the cauldron and setting down the unicorn hair so he was holding the mink's fur. He slowly opened the package, his brown eyes nervously on its wrappings, and just as he was about to take out the fur he let out a small sigh of frustration. "Could you just...I don't know, close your eyes or something?!" he asked of the girl with a weak smile and a defeated expression. It wasn't just the fact that he didn't want Vianna upset, it was also the fact that he couldn't concetrate on the potion when he was thinking about her feelings. It bugged him sometimes how in tune he was with her, and how much he cared about the little things that could upset his girlfriend. She had already told him she would be fine, he knew, and he was sure she might be a little upset with him for bringing it up again, but it was making him nervous and that wasn't what he needed at the moment.

Vianna's forehead creased slightly as Ferris reluctantly agreed to letting her stay before getting back to work and then letting out a sigh of frustration. The girl gave him a puzzled look and her eyes widened slightly as he asked her to at least close her eyes or something to avoid looking at the mink's fur. Vianna was a bit taken aback at first, not really aware that her own feelings affected Ferris that strongly, but she gave him a faint smile and nodded her head, understanding the boy's intentions. "I'll go tell my brothers we're working on the potion, then," she said softly, pausing for a brief second before turning and heading out of the room. She really didn't want to leave, didn't want to come off as weak, unable to even look at mink's fur, but she didn't want to continue opposing Ferris when the boy was clearly troubled enough as it was. And so, the girl walked out of the room and headed to the one next door.

Ferris gave the girl an appreciative smile as she told him she would go tell her brothers that they were working on the potion, glad to have her out of the room when he unveiled the fur. Once she left, he gently unwrapped the long patch of grey fur, and was immediately glad that he had asked Vianna to leave; their was still a face connected to the fur, with small little eyes looking pathetically back at the boy as he set it into the potion with furrowed eyebrows. It immediately dissolved as it mixed with the boar's blood, and Ferris began to stir the potion six times clockwise as the book instructed.

Vianna returned a few moments later, her brows slightly furrowed. She smiled at the sight of Ferris stirring the potion and giggled lightly to herself as she joined his side. "You almost look like a cook," she said with amused eyes. "Too bad you're not this concentrated in the kitchen," she added teasingly with a soft chuckle before sneaking a peek at the potion. "How's it going? What's the next step?" she asked, eager to help.

Ferris turned his head at the sound of a giggle that could only belong to Vianna, letting a smile spread across his features at the sight of her joining his side. He let out a soft chuckle as she told him he almost looked like a cook, "Yeah, well, I'll stick to potions," he responded with an amused smile which widened as she started asking questions about the potion. "As I'm stirring, you need to very slowly let the toad's breath spread into the potion," he instructed, reading off the book as he slowly stirred.

Vianna listened attentively as Ferris explained the next step to her and her brows furrowed slightly as she nodded her head. "Right," she muttered, now taking the small glass bottle filled with a type of green fog or smoke inside and opening it very slowly. She made a face and coughed for a moment, as the smell escaped the tiniest opening and nearly suffocated her. The girl quickly directed the small bottle toward the cauldron where the smell spread itself inside it and mixed with the liquid, though not without leaving a horrible stench behind.

Ferris watched hesitantly as the girl opened the bottle, and his eyebrows rose at her expression, as he hadn't caught onto the smell of the stench yet. But a moment later, he was very aware of it and scrunched up his face with disgust as the girl then put the toad's breath to the potion. He continued to stir but turned his face away a bit in order to try and get some fresh air. He let out a small cough before letting out a sigh and starting to stir counter-clockwise as the spellbook instructed to do so after the breath had been put in.

Vianna watched the liquid in the cauldron with curious and fascinated eyes, examining its colour carefully before checking the book; it seemed so far they were doing well. "And when do the unicorn hairs come in?" asked the girl, quite eager to get to the end result already. She couldn't help but actually feel excited about this upcoming adventure they were about to go on, as risky as it was.

Ferris turned from the potion to the girl as she asked when the unicorn hairs came in. Having read over the potion's instructions a bit already, he was able to answer without consulting the book, "I'm afraid that comes in just when we're about to drink it," he responded with a small smile and a shrug. "For now, we're supposed to stir it six times counter-clockwise, which I'm doing. Then seven times clockwise, and then we let it sit. For four days. And it has to be stirred every eight hours in the same way. Fitting, I thought."

Vianna nodded her head slightly as Ferris explained to her what was to come, but her brows then furrowed slightly. "Every eight hours?" she asked. This meant they would have to wake up in the middle of the night to stir the potion? Well, that certainly didn't sound fun. But it was better than waiting for months as they would have had to do with a polyjuice potion. "I guess after you're done stirring we'll just have to wait another eight hours, then," she said, leaving the boy's side to sit on the edge of the bed. Fluffy immediately hopped on to her lap and curled up, demanding to be petted.

Ferris gave a nod as she repeated that they would have to stir it every eight hours. It was the eight-hour potion, afterall, and he continued stirring as the girl left his side to go over to her bed. He finished stirring a couple minutes later, having correctly mixed the potion for the time being and checked his watch: 4:37. "Alright, Vi. At midnight, I'll get up and stir it again," he told her as he stood up, walking over to her with the slightest of smiles. It felt good, to be back doing something, as though they were getting closer to the solution.

Vianna looked away from Fluffy and turned to Ferris as the boy walked over to her, telling her that at midnight he would get up and stir the potion again. "What? No, I'll do it," she replied. "The cauldron's going to be in my room, so I should do it," she added with a nod, already having made up her mind on this. She didn't want Ferris having to wake up to stir the potion when he could be giving his back some rest, and she didn't trust the cauldron in a room full of boys. They could accidentally knock it over or something.

Ferris's brows furrowed at the girl before him as she told him that she would be the one to wake up and stir the potion instead of him. He had a twinkle of amusement to his brown eyes though, as he neared her, taking her free hand in both of his. "You don't have to do that Vi," he responded, his eyes on the fingers he was starting to play with as he stood before her. "I'll probably be up anyway. You never know with me. And I don't want you losing any sleep."

But Vianna had already made up her mind, and she wasn't about to let Ferris get his way on this one - not that this was anything unusual, as she usually just ended up convincing him to go her way. "Professor, I'll wake up and stir the potion," she told him. "If you dare get near that potion when I'm supposed to be stirring it, I'll-- I... I'll do something bad to you, so behave and stay away from the potion," she warned him, as if she was the scariest thing alive and Ferris had no option but to go along with her in fear that she might 'do something bad'.

Ferris rose his eyebrows at the sudden strength of Vianna's voice as she told him that she would be the one to stir the potion that night, and that if he even dared to go near it she would do something bad to him. An amused smile spread across his face and he narrowed his eyes at her playfully. "Oh yeah? And what is a little girl like you going to do to me?" he asked her with a grin, honestly amused by her threats. They didn't seem to have the affect on him as Vianna probably would've hoped, and rather the boy seemed to find her adorable rather than scary and threatening.

OOC: Give me a half hour or so, Ruthie needs some snackage. Lol.

Vianna furrowed her brows as Ferris asked her what a 'little girl' like her was going to do to him if he dared get near the potion. She narrowed her eyes back at him, though hers weren't playful but rather threatening. However, she didn't have a threat. What could she possibly do to Ferris? She didn't have the heart to actually hurt him; it would be rather uncalled for, too. "I--I'll do something-- just-- I-- I won't share my marshmallows with you anymore!" she said, as if this was something that should make Ferris cry from how terrible it was. "And--and-- I'll be really mad at you... and stuff..." she muttered, beginning to grow slightly frustrated with herself at her lack of better threats. Had this been Vince or Victor, she could have come up with some rather mean, fiery threats. But this was Ferris - kind, gentle, considerate Ferris. How in the world was she supposed to do 'something bad' to him?

Ferris's smile only grew as the girl started stuttering out a reply, telling him that she wouldn't share her marshmallows with him anymore. And though this wasn't exactly a pleasant thought, it wasn't something necessarily threatening and both of them knew it. He listened as she added that she'd also be really mad at him...and stuff. His eyebrows rose once more and he grinned at her, "Well then, I guess I'll just have to stay away from the potion, won't I?" he said, half teasing, but letting the girl have her way as he always did. "I definitely don't want to have to face those terrible, horrible threats of yours."

Vianna gave Ferris a disapproving look as the boy agreed to stay away from the potion, but not without making fun of her threats first. Though she couldn't fight back the smile that was beginning to form at her lips, as she couldn't help to be rather amused by it all. "Well, I made you a promise earlier today," started Vianna after a moment's silence, "That after we figured out our whole disguise issue, we could go find that lake you mentioned earlier," she continued. "Are you still feeling up for it?"

Ferris was watching Fluffy for a moment when Vianna spoke next, mentioning that she had made a promise to visit a lake with him after they had figured out the disguise issue. His brown eyes shot to her with a warm smile, having nearly forgotten about it, "Yeah, of course I'm up for it," he said with a soft chuckle, obviously happy with the idea. "Are you sure you want to go?" he asked a little more hesitantly, remembering how she wasn't so fond of the idea earlier on.

Vianna smiled and nodded her head as Ferris asked if she was sure she wanted to go. "Yes, of course," she replied, now taking Fluffy into her free hand and getting up to her feet. "I'm not going to feel bad now that we've finally done something," she explained, feeling the hesitance in his voice. "C'mon, let's go find a lake," she said with an excited grin, beginning to drag Ferris as she often did when she felt enthusiastic about something.

Ferris's smile once more turned into a large grin as she assured him that she wanted to go, that she wouldn't feel bad that they had done something. He let out a light laugh as she started dragging him with her out of the hotel, his hand intwined with hers as he followed after her with a warm smile. "Do you think there'll be a lake somewhere close?" he asked her as they started out of the lobby.
