Hope watched them walk away. For some reason she felt like she had just said goodbye forever to sabbath and José. She couldn't care less if Julianna came back but she was going to miss them. She had hopes that her and José would of been able to start something but now that little hope was gone.

Knowing her cousins heart was breaking she grabbed her hand waiting for her to react. Not knowing what to say to her. Her best friend had just walked away. *snaps fingers* just like that...

Noelle didn't even get a real goodbye. Julianna's grubby little hands were pulling at her Sabbie. Her eyes were fixed on Sabbie though. Her hands curled around her torso and she watched as Julianna tugged him away from her.

Noelle didn't even look away from Sabbie as Josè turned to tell Hope goodbye. She just had eyes for Sabbie. She was trying to memorize everything she could about him. She had a feeling this was it. This was the last time she would see her Sabbie.

Then they were walking away.

Noelle's face turned blank as she watched the three walk down the dirt driveway. Sabbie had just turned away from her. Just left. She studied his figure blankly as he walked away. She knew Sabbie well, so she knew this wasn't his regular demeanor. Her jaw clenched to keep from crying. She knew, he was hurting just as she was.

Noelle felt a hand on hers but didn't look away from the three figures that we're getting smaller and smaller. She was just stuck there. Frozen. She didn't want to move cause that would mean that she would have to go on without Sabbie and she didn't think she could do that.

They were gone now.

Their figures couldn't be seen anymore, but Noelle was stil staring at the spot she last saw Sabbie. Her face and body was still frozen. She wasn't moving. She wasn't ready. She wasn't ready to say......

Goodbye Sabbath.

Hope looked around. Not knowing what to do. she gave Noelle a hug. She had just said good bye to her best friend. Hope couldn't even begin to imagine what that felt like. she hurt for her. Holding Noelle, she smoothed back her hair. "I'm so sorry Nells. I really wish I knew what to tell you."

Noelle frowned but hugged her cousin back tight. She was numb in feeling and had never felt like this before. Before she knew it, she was crying into her cousins shoulder, heaps of sobs and snot. Big alligator tears rolled off her rounded cheeks onto her cousins shoulder. She couldn't believe just like that, Sabbie was gone.

"H-he ... I.... No...." What were words?

Noelle cried until her father came around. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Hope for an explanation as he picked up his daughter like he used to when she was four or five and had cried over a broken toe.

Of course, Noelle lashed out at her dad, saying he should be happy her best friend is gone and it was all his fault.

The party was still to be held that next day though.

The barn had been lit and the cooler was brought out, a huge hog roasting on it. A long table of food sat in the barn, magicked to stay fresh until guests arrived. Music was playing in the background. Some of the neighbors had already showed up.

Noelle was still tucked in her room, hiding under the covers. And she wasn't coming down.

Hope paced Noelle's room. Knowing how hurt she was, and there was still a party?? Why?? She didn't want to leave her cousins side.
"How are you holding up?" Hope stopped pacing and nelt in front of Nells. She wanted to hate sabbath for hurting her cousin, but she knew that wouldn't help anything.
