Inside the city of Milan, Italy laid a small, old
neighborhood. At the edge of the neighborhood stood a fairly new house (compared to the others around it). The house had a yellowish glow to it and a burgundy roof top. Surrounding the house was a couple of tree’s but mostly green open space. If you made your way to the back of the house you could see a pool right in the left side of the backyard with pool chairs surrounding it. Another thing that could be seen was a large shed kind of hidden by a few more trees. On the shed was a note that said “Enter if you want your life to be short lived.” A small glass table was also set up very close to the back doors.

As you went into the house, the first room you entered was the living room. A light brown colored carpet that matched the walls ran threw the whole living room. A black leather sofa and two love seats occupied the room as well as a small glass coffee table and a large muggle television set. On one of the walls was a long shelf; on the shelf was a golden trophy with a swimmer on the top and a big number one right beside it. The trophy was engraved: Lysander Chosen. On another one was the walls was a big fireplace.

Not too far from the living room was the kitchen and right next door the dinning room. They kitchen had a new age look to it with stainless steel appliances and cream colored tiles. There was also a small table that could fit about three people against one of the walls. On the refrigerator door one thing could be seen. A note the words “Grocery list: CANDY” scribbled on it. The dinning room was the most relaxed place so far in the house. It had a big wooden table in the middle and chairs all around it. At first appearance it seemed like the rest of the house; too neat, to clean and not at all like the Chosen’s. However once you looked on the walls you realized it was just like them. Covering the walls were tons of pictures. Pictures that were draw by Alexis and Legend. Some where from they were young and others were from they were older.

Making your way out of the dinning room you see a flight of stairs on your left and a bathroom on your right. Upstairs there were 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms. One particular room usually had a sign that say “Alexis” on it now had the words “Girls”. Entering the room you immediately notice that the room looks much bigger than it had appeared to be from the outside. Sixteen beds fit perfectly inside the room along with a dresser three chairs and there was still a lot of room inside. Besides the 16 extra beds the room looked how it normally did; the walls were painted a simple shade of lilac purple and the window curtains and carpet were a sliver color along with the bed spreads.

Across that room was another. On the door it usually said “Legend’s room, say out!” was now replaced by the word “Boys”. Walking in the first thing you notice is that the room is painted the colour of the sky. You also notice that there are planes and broom sticks hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room. Something else you notice is that that this room also looked a lot bigger than it had from the outside. Seven bunk beds now occupied the room, all with dark blue bed spreads.

It was obvious to see, that this house was ready for the eventful summer that was about to happen.

Sighing Amber headed outside as everyone was already outside ready to leave. It was weird. Having the kids leave after being here for a month. It would be oddly quite. Even by Alexis and Legend standards. Giving a small smile she had thoroughly enjoyed this Summer. Meeting Lex's and Legend's friends was an interesting experience.

Standing close to the group watching everyone give their goodbye's Tyson wore a large grin. His first summer back and it had started off perfectly. "OY! Stay out trouble you lot! I don't wanna here anything in a couple of years about some of you ending up in Azkaban!" He joked. These kids were a good group. They wouldn't do anything that bad.

Walking over to Vince he clapped him on the shoulder. "Stay out of trouble dude. Open up." He said then moved on to the little kids. Spotting Katie his grin grew and he bend down. " Hey, next time you see Legend. I'm counting on you to make his life a living nightmare." He whispered. "Later little Mae." Then stood back up his full height of 6'1. With these kids gone, it would be different that was sure.

Alexis looked around her frount yard. It was sad that everyone was leaving. Sure they'd meet up in Diagon Alley or at Hogwarts; but it was still sad. Playing with a strain of her blonde hair she looked at Legend who was sitting on the steps just like the first day. He wasn't saying a word. It was much different for him. he would not get to see his friends for another year. She would see hers in a couple of weeks. So she was lucky right?

Not saying anything Alexis slowly began to rock on her toes, still playing with the strand of her hair.

Sitting on the steps Legend's arms hugged his knees tightly to his body. He was determined not to look at anyone. He was determined not to say bye to anyone and he was determined, to not seem sad that everyone was leaving. He wasn't sad no way! At least he wouldn't let them know. The kids were all leaving. Soon he'd be left with only Lex, Tyson and Amber. Then Alexis would leave him again, and so would Amber to return back to England. And the seven year old would be all alone (like he'd talk to Tyson).

Remembering something her took three Oreo cookies out of his pocket. Standing up he walked only to Lainie and put them in her hand. That was the only person he was going to acknowledge today. After handing her the cookies he walked back to the steps and sat the same way he was sitting before. This say sucked.

Sighing sadly, Kaitlynnh had a list in her head, of who to say buhbye to first. Not goodbye, never. There was a rule in her family, of that. It was just a later sort of bye, not goodbye. "It was nice meeting you miss Amber, your very awesome" Katie said, wrapping her arms around the redheads waist in a hug.

To her surprise as she turned, Tyson came to her. This, along with what she said, caused her face to light up. "I will, I promise!" She vowed, hugging him as well before running off, not failing to shout "Later Tyson" over her shoulder.

Her father was here, waiting in that awfully stupid mini yellow bus with everyones bags, and pets. And Julian, he had beat everyone to saying his byes and now waited in the bus; he wasn't feeling well, ever since arriving his allergies had flared and they'd forgotten his medicine.

Savannah had already gone around to anyone she could catch, She thanked both Tyson and Amber for having them over, and for such a wonderful time. No doubt, she'd miss them. Along with her little hero, wherever he was. Not that she wouldn't see all of them again, just not soon or time to her liking.

As she found her way to Alexis, she pressed her lips together. Lainie stuck close by her side, and Obie she knew was okay, more than likely running around saying his farewells. "Bye Lexi" Vannah murmured, pulling her best friend into a tight hug. She couldn't help but notice how sad it felt, to be saying bye, when it was ridiculous because they'd be seeing eachother shortly anyways.

Lainie blinked, confusedly, as Legend placed cookies in her hand, three of them. He was one of the few that knew she didn't eat sweets, oreos were the one thing she would accept.

Greenish brownish eyes followed after the boy, before her feet could, and when they had she ran after him, ignoring the bumpy grass patches that threatened to trip her little feet.

"Byebye Uncwe Wedgen, wuv you!" Her very faint, very sweet voice broke towards the end of her sentance. The child wrapped her small arms around the seven year old, tears rimming her earth tone orbs. Everyone, including herself, thought it would be hard for her to be here, without her mother or father. No one had expected it be hard for the two year old to want to leave.

Oh good, Lainie was distracting him. But Legend was still...pouting? woah, she never thought he'd care that much. A soft throb of pain inside her caused a frowned to overcome her smile.

Deciding she'd saved him for last, Kaitlynnh crept up from the side, and inched over to them. After her neice had let go of Legend, she wrapped her arms around him abruptly, for a very, very short moment, not allowing him to react. "See you soon, Legend!" The eight year old whispered, extremely unexpectedly, pecking him on the cheek before taking off running towards the bus. "Remember no SPLAT-ing," She called after, cheekily, before disappearing inside the safety of the vehicle.

"Come on Jersey! We are leaving! Please come down from the tree!" Sam pleaded with the calico. When the cat did nothing but merely look at her mockingly, she scowled. Seeing a rock, she went and picked it up. As if the cat knew what she was planning, Jersey jumped from the tree and ran away. "Urg!" Sam growled and began after her two year old cat.

Danny couldnt help but let out a giggle as he watched his sister try and get Jersey out of the tree. He knew the cat (no-longer-a-kitten) did not want to go because that would require her going into a cage. Jersey hated cages.

He said his good byes to all the people he knew and gave a shy wave to the people he didnt. "Thank you Miss Amber for letting us over." he said, and began to blush. He then said his good byes to Legend.

Seeing that Sam had finally gotten Jersey out of the tree, he walked over and picked her up. "Hey girl. Come on. Time for us to go." he said with a chuckle and climbed onto the bus. The calico let him pick her up and began to purr in his arms. Jersey usually hated being held, but always let Danny hold her.

Sam shook her head as Danny picked up Jersey easily and walked onto the bus. She then began her rounds. She said bye to Ari first and her little cousin. Then Sam gave Curt a hug good bye. Waving to the rest, she made her way to Lex and gave her hug.

"You are beeing way to quiet Alexis Chosen. Ill see you in a couple of weeks." she chuckled. She gave her another hug and made her way to the short school bus. The sight of the bus made her smile. She knew it drove Vannah crazy, but it wasnt every day you drove the school bus home from a friends!

Obie ran around the front yard, excited to go home to see his mama and papa but sad to leave all the fun behind. Running over to Lexi, he hugged her leg. "Gracias for having us over!" he said with a big grin on his face. He then jumped onto the bus, trying not to trip.

Benny placed his backpack on his back and walked over to Tyson. "Hey, had a great time here. Good idea with the slime balloons." he chuckled and shook his hand. He then said good bye to others he knew. After, he followed the excited little five year old on the bus.

Ari watched as everyone said good bye, not wanting to say it herself. She knew she'd just see them i na few weeks anyway, when they went to school so it wasn't as if she was truly missing anyone. Oh how could she kid herself, she thought as she walked up to Vannah before she left, hugging her tightly. "Thanks for putting up with me." She said winking as she turned to hug Katie. "Be a good girl for your sis okay?" She asked, ruffling the girls' hair playfully.

So many people to hug she thought, wishing she could just grow her arms to a long length and hug them all. Yes, even Vince she thought with a chuckle. She spent the next ten minutes walking up to each of her friends, hugging them and promicing to keep in touch. She truly realized how much she needed them then, not only were they friends, but they were united friends from each of the houses, which meant something special.

She stepped up to the curb, waiting for her mothe to pick them up, hoping she wouldn't send one of her friends to do it for her. She hated it when she broke a promise, which seemed to be happening a lot lately she figured. A glint of pink appeared in the distance and Ari grinned. Yes, she brought her car, awesome! she thought waving as she came closer, stopping inches away from her. "Hey mom, how's my baby?" She asked, motioning to the sports car.

Emily laughed, her drk hair wind swept from keeping the roof down for the trip. "She's fine Ari hon. You guys ready?" She asked, looking at William. "What's wrong with him?" She asked softly, seeing his down cast expresssion.

Ari turned after putting the bags in the trunk and shrugged, "I don't know, I think he read my journal and found out something." She said realization dawning on her face. "I'll be right back!" she said hurridly before jogging up to him and turning him around. "Hey William, um I know you ready my personal journal, no need in denying it. I'll hex you when I become a adult, but right now I need you to promise you won't say anything to anyone." She pleaded with her green eyes.

William looked as if he was about to cry. It seemed to him that they had just got there, then suddenly they were leaving, and why because school was starting soon? Hmph he thought crossing his arms and kicking dirt around with his shoe. He saw Ari walking among the people, hugging them and chatting with them and he felt envy flow through his viens. That and embaassment.

Taking a deep breath he wandered up to Katie and nodded "It was nice to meet you Katie." He said, smiling slightly, before looking up to the older girl, Savannah he thought her name was. "And you too Savannah." He added with a slight smile that didn't reach his eyes. With the two people he wanted to say bye to taken care of, he walked back to stand beside the bags, wondering when auntie Emmy would be arriving to take them home. Please don't let her drive that pink monstrosity he thought looking in the horizon.

Indeed when he saw the pink sports car he groaned aloud, making Ari glance at him. He looked back, blinking his blue eyes with wonder. He had dnopne something wrong and had read some things he shouldn't have read and now he was utterly confused about everything. Knowing someone would say something it didn't take him long to figure out how imortant those wodrs were when Ari came up and threatened to hex him when she was 17. All he could do was chuckle and shake his head as he waved to Emily, "Hi aunt Emmy." He said standing still.

Rapunzel had her bag packed and Archimedes captured at last. He'd gotten a little wild after taking that last letter home....silly bird. But summer was over now.

She sighed to see her grandfather's limo already in the driveway. Better make the goodbyes quick.

In typical Pretzel fashion, she simply decided to announce her farewell. "BYE EVERYONE!" she shouted cheerfully. Truth be told, she was getting a little homesick. Just a little.

"Bye Lima....Vannah....Rabid....Alexis!" she added, not as loud though. "Thank you for inviting me!" Punz beamed and waved towards the group, then headed down the steps and into the car. Of course Santino popped up the moment she reached for the door handle, but Punz still loaded her own bags.

As the long limo slipped away, Rapunzel glanced out the window with a smile on her face. She'd met a lot of new people that summer...and hopefully she'd see them again at Hogwarts.
