The term has ended and now you’re stuck with two months of summer stretching before you. Freedom from essays, from potions, from star gazing. Now you can stay up late and go to bed early. You’re away from all the Professors who are crazy in love with each other and now it’s all about what YOU want to do. Or rather… what your parents let you do. School’s out for summer!

This takes place after Term 10 in the SS School RP. The term has ended so this is a way to play out the summer longer than available in Diagon Alley, and as a way for the graduated students to have a place to play. This is invite only, so if you haven’t been asked to come in, chances are you can’t join. If you have an idea for any characters that should be invited back, let me know and I’ll consider them. I can’t think of everyone, after all.

Naturally, the Rules follow SS Rules and you still have to use literacy (a major pet peeve of mine, really) We follow the School Plot, but I’m sure the most of you will be able to handle that. Anyone invited who plays a shop keeper or a helper will play them in here (as long as you wish of course) and if anyone would like to fill an empty spot, please do let me know.

Francesca's head darted up when Nik was suddenly being yelled at by a shopkeeper.They didn't even do anything so there was absolutely no reason to blame them for anything. She hated when someone tried to blame her for something she didn't do. She glared at the shopkeeper and turned to Nik.

"I agree. This place isn't exactly shopper friendly apparently."

Smirking as he looked Fran up and down and took in her impractical England summer outfit, moved closer to her and casually put an arm around her waist. "I'd go back to the Leaky Cauldron, but it seems that everywhere we go in this place we get chased out." he said with a mischeivous twinkle in his eyes.

Stupid English weather. Francesca hated it already. How would she be able to stay here all summer if she couldn't take it on the first day? When Nik suddenly put his arm around her waist, she felt a little bit better since the body heat was being exchanged (ooc: Panic lmao). She sneakily put her arm around him and grinned.

"We're just a couple of troublemakers aren't we Nik. I say we cause even more trouble."

Her grin turned into a smirk and a glint of mischief appeared in her eyes as she thought of some other mischief that they could cause.

Max angrily eyed the two students who left the shop and then turned his attention to the poor girl who was shrieking hysterically as boils and sores erupted on her face and head from the bubotuber pus. "There, there," he said soothingly as he waved his wand and made the gooey yellow substance disappear. With another wave of his wand, he disillusioned the boils and sores. "The boils and sores are still there but don't worry, no one will see them," he reassured her and handed her a sealed container. "Use this cream twice a day for a week and the effects of the bubotuber pus should be gone by then. Oh, and the spell I used will last for only a week, so don't be lazy." He took the girl by the arm and guided her out of the shop. "Come back again!" he said cheerfully and headed back to the counter.

Upon returning to the counter, Max took out a sheet of parchment and began writing quickly. I can't tell her, but I can tell him. Oh, Luciana is going to explode when she finds out that I've outsmarted her! he thought as he put the quill down. "Excuse me, Elijah was it? I need for you to fill out the delivery slip for your young lady's broom," he said cheerfully.

Having been paying attention to the commotion caused by some other people, Elijah was snapped back into reality when the shopkeeper of Quality Quidditch Supplies beckoned him over to fill out a delivery slip for Kay's broom.

"Oh, right then," he said, still feeling slightly distracted as he walked over to the counter. "Erm... what exactly to I fill out? Can't she just take the broom right away out of the shop?"

Max shook his head. "She wants the broom delivered to her at the school," he stated and leaned forward on the counter. "Look, I know that you probably think I'm a coward for not telling Kay anything, but it's a little more complicated than that if you catch my drift." He glanced around and lowered his voice. "If anything happens, I want you to send me an owl because I can tell you and well, I know you'll find a way to tell her," he said as he pulled out a sealed envelope and handed it to Elijah. "This is her Gringott's key. I've kept it out of McLaggen's greedy little hands all these years. I would hand it to her but you see, it's a bit complicated." Max couldn't help but groan inwardly: he had sworn an unbreakable vow with McLaggen twelve years earlier and had spent the better part of the last five years trying to find a way to get around it and the dire consequences that he would face if he ever broke it.

Elijah raised his eyebrow and shook his head slowly, "No I don't think your a coward. Besdies... it souds like it is more complicated that I'd imagined," he added as he reached for a nearby quill to fill out the form for the delivery of Kay's broom to Hogwarts when they got back to school.

"Seeing as how you're the only one who seems to know anything as to what's going on, then I'll surely let you know if something goes astray," Elijah continued as he scratched down where to have Kay's broom delivered and on what day. As he finished, he looked back behind the counter and saw the envelop Mr. Vincidctus was holding. Elijah gave him a look of combined question and doubt. "You want me to hang out to her Gringotts Vault Key?" he asked disbelievingly. "You must be joking, I can't possibly keep that with me. What if she were to find out? I'm already keeping enough from Kay, I don't need to give her a reason to not trust me, Mr. Vindictus."

Max nervously ran his hand through his hair and looked sternly at Elijah. "You can tell her who I am whenever you feel like it, but all I ask is that you do not tell her while you're here in Diagon Alley. Hogwarts is a safer place to tell her such things," he pleaded gruffly. "Now regarding that key, I'm entrusting it to you. There's enough gold in there to live off of for many years, but that vault holds more than just Galleons. Keep the key away from McLaggen, that's all I ask of you."

He took the order form from Elijah and looked it over. "Everything looks good," Max said in a more chipper voice. "Is there anything else that you need?" He was trying to act as normal as he could under the circumstances for he had a gut feeling that McLaggen might just decide to stop in before the day was over. And that thought would make any person feel ill.

Elijah stared at Maximus Vincidctus, holding the small envelope in which Kay's Gringotts Key was sealed. He felt like he was getting more than what he bargained for. His head was still swimming with questions. Like what was he supposed to do if he, for some unfortuate reason, ran into Kay's aunt? What if she found out he had Kay's vault Key? Would he have to duel her? Of course he would, this was just another of the responsibilities Elijah was taking on.

"Merlin's Beard," he mumbled as he ran his hand through his hair. He simply looked up at the shopkeeper and nodded his head regarding everythig that he'd just been told.

"I think that's everything..." he said rather solemnly, but then turned over his shoulder, pocketting the envelop deep in his pocket. "Kay did you find anything else you wanted to get? Goggles or gloves or anything?"

Kay turned around from the practice robes rack when she heard Elijah call to her. "Nope. They don't have my size so I guess that I'll patch up my practice robes before tryouts begin," she said as she walked up to him and linked her arm with his. "I'm ready to go if you are."

Kirstie chuckled softly and dissapparated from the Quidditch shop. There was nothing like causing a little Chaos to make oneself feel better. She reappeared in a dark alley and sat on a barrel to think.

Jacques followed the girls to the table, waving at his sister behind the counter as he passed.

Marianne looked up from wiping the straw container to see her little brother enter with two young ladies. She eyed him carefully as he went and sat at the table. Marianne tried not to be an overprotective older sister, but sometimes it was hard.

Jacques looked at Peony and Ashlie. "Ze icecreams are on me. What would you like?" Jacques asked, knowing perfectly well that he wouldn't have to pay for the icecreams anyway, unless Marianne was in a particularly foul mood.

"Hmmm..." Ashlie pondered. "I haven't eaten ice cream here in a while... What kind of flavour have you got? Or... better yet. What do you suggest I have?" She sat down at the table. "You sure you can get them all? I can pay if I need. I really can," she inisted.

It had been a good while since she'd had ice cream. Maybe she'd go home and buy some for Jamie and his friends.

Maddi had been staring down at her lemonade, not really paying attention to anything that was happening. Every once in a while she'd stir it around a bit, with her straw, listening to the strange noice the ice made when it made contact with the plastic cup.

"Hmm," She mumbled, no particular reason why she did it. Her stomach grumbled a bit and she realized she was getting a bit hungary.

Ashlie pondered this. Peanut butter and marshmallow sounded rather nice, so she lodged that to the back of mind for the next time she came for ice cream. She was still used to cookie dough and chocolate chip mint.

"I'll try it," she decided. "If you think I'll like it, it's worth the try. And, you can't turn down free ice cream, anyway, can you?" She beamed happily and turned to Peony who was mumbling to herself. Definetly The Voice. She chuckled quietly and gave her friend a knowing look.

Jamie turned to Bucky, glancing at her. He knew she wasn't fond of his other friends. In fact, Jamie was starting to figure that Bucky wasn't even really a girl, just like he was sure he wasn't even a boy. Of course, physically, Jamie was a boy. But he didn't really act like one. Which he didn't mind. He wasn't drooling over girls or anything stupid like that.

"She's not bad," Jamie whispered back, taking a bite of her french toast. "Really. But if you don't want to talk to her, s'ok. We can go walk or something."

Celestina frowned and felt inclined to smack his hand away from her french toast but she wasn't hungry anymore and he might as well eat it. She was just going to throw it away anyways. Her arm still intertwined with his she tugged slightly as if to scold him for not answering the way she had wanted him to.

"You don't think anyone is bad," she whispered annoyed. "That's your problem. You think everyone is so nice. They're not, you know?"

She raised her nose in the air, determined not to even glance at that ravenclaw girl. Of course she wouldn't talk to her. She didn't talk to dangerous looking people anyways.

Jamie bit his lip. He didn't think everyone nice. His father instantly came to mind, and if anyone wasn't nice, it was him. He walked out on Jamie's family. He left them, all on their own, his poor mother to try and raise three kids. He knew Ashlie's parents weren't nice people, at all. He knew his mother had had an ex boyfriend that didn't last long in their household.

He didn't honestly think he thought everyone was nice. It's just... he supposed she rose a good point though. Maybe he did think everyone was nice. But it was better to have friends than to not talk to many of them. And it was better to assume them nice than to think them bad.

The boy fell quiet and rest his fork on the table carefully, lining it up perfectly with the edge of the table, concentrating fully on that. He felt Bucky's arm intwined about his still, and though he couldn't look at her, he didn't move his arm.

Celestina sighed, immediately taking in the drastic change in Jamie's mood. She'd done it again. Just how did she manage to say the wrong things all the time.

"I've upset you again, haven't I, Jamie?" She asked softly, eyes downcast. "I'm sorry," she finished retreiving her arms from his and dropping both hands on her lap, her palms upward.

Jamie was probably her only true friend at Hogwarts and most of the time she treated him in whatever way it pleased her. She knew Jamie liked to make friends, many friends at that but she couldn't help feel the way she did. The thought of Jamie making a new friend and forgetting all about her made an extreme panic would continue to rise in her chest until she couldn't breathe properly, until she couldn't think properly.

It wasn't her fault she was naturally possesive of those close to her. It was just logic that if you keep those you case about close to you you can protect so they will never go away. So that they'll never hurt, so that they'll never die like her mother did.

"I'm very sorry. I don't mean to be so mean all the time it just--the words come out and I can't stop them."

If this had been an anime, the screen would have gone all pink and blue and swirly and only Jamie and Bucky would be in the scene. Jamie turned to his friend, looking at her through his mop of hair. Bucky had been his first real friend. He had friends back in primary school, but he never told them about his father or danced with them like Bucky. She was a great friend, she didn't have cooties and she didn't want to snog him. And she always looked out for him.

"You're not mean, Bucky," he whispered. "I... just don't think enough. I keep forgetting that you get uncomft-able with others. I shouldn't keep pushing you into them. I just... get caught up."

He didn't want Bucky to be upset. It made him upset. He couldn't make her feel bad because she didn't do anything wrong. He took hold of her arm as she had his, less forcibly though, to show her that he wasn't mad. Who else did he eat milk-less cookies with and dance with?
