It's the summer after Helena Crawley graduated from Hogwarts and she's off to America to visit her boyfriend of a year and a half - Chris. So much as happened since they'd been apart the past year, though - will things stay the same? Or will the two fall apart with the addition of their new acquaintances?

The corner of Lena's mouth pulled up in a smile; it wasn't that she didn't believe him because she did.... she just didn't like not knowing exactly what was going on. She quickly followed Chris through the crowd and onto the subway. She sat down next to him, her hand still in his. She smiled over at him at his question. It's fantastic - fantabulousorific, she said with a laugh.

Chris laughed at Helena's word. "Okay first I don't even think that's a word, love. But I'm glad you think so." He said smiling wide to her. "Soooo because of my plans we aren't heading to Time Square. But I'm pretty sure you will like what I've got planned." He said as the train started to move down the tracks quickly.

Helena frowned at Chris's words, despite his affection term and tone. No, she said slowly, It's a word if I say it's a word, love, she said, promptly turning away from him with her arms crossed before finally breaking down and chuckling, kissing him lightly once as she returned to her normal stance. Her green eyes swept him over curiously as he said his plans wouldn't be taking them to Time Square, but she said nothing for the moment.

"What?! Oh come it's a word just because you said it was huh?" Chris asked. He watched Helena turn her back to him. Welll fine! But not long after had she turned back around and kissed him. Hehe! He liked this better than having her back to him. He watched her curious eyes look over him. "You will know soon enough." He said smiling wide to her. He loooove being so secretive!

Helena chuckled and decided to just relax and spend her time enjoying the ride. So instead of arguing with him, she sat back in the chair and leaned her head lightly on his shoulder, though she wasn't nearly as tired as she seemed - in fact, she really wasn't tired at all, but hey, who wouldn't want to cuddle with someone like the adorable guy sitting next to her, right??

Chris felt Helena rest her head on his shoulder and cuddle right into him. Awww he placed his arm around her. This was sooo but better than arguing or something. Most defintaly this was the best subway ride ever....

After being on for a little bit the train came to a stop. Turning to Lena Chris broke the silence for the first time in awhile. "Ready? I promise you it's a very short walk from here to where we are going." He said smiling as he stood up and took Helena's hand once more walking off the train with her.

Lena smiled as Chris put his arm around her, once more falling into the old familiar pattern that they had so often frequented across the Atlantic. As the train stopped and Chris spoke, Helena chuckled at this words. As long as I'm with you, we could walk forever, she said with a small smile as he took her hand and she followed him off of the train.

Awww Chris smiled to Lena's comment. "Really?" He asked as he walked out of the subway station with Helena right next to him and he headed down the street. Hehe! He looooved know where he was going and Lena having no idea! "You confused yet?" He asked with a small smile. Welllll when he first got here he was! There are so many streets and people and places it can get confusing!

Helena nodded with a wink, though she was being completely honest with him. Erm.... she said awkwardly as the two of them emerged onto the street. Confused was definitely one word. Uhhhh, that would be a definite yes, she admitted with a chuckle. Honestly, though, where the heck were they???

Chris laughed at Lena's answer. "Well I think you might have heard of the place we are heading to." He said with a wink and with that he lead Helena right into Central Park. Buuut that wasn't alllll this boy had planned. "Well I'm pretty sure you've heard of Central Park." He said as he let go of her hand as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and kissed the side of her head. As he kept walking them down the path.

Lena looked at him quizzically but then at his words her eyes widened and returned to the park. Awwww !! That was soooo romantic! Chris.... she was speechless, unable to finish as he kissed the side of her head. She looked over at him as they walked. I love you, she said.

Chris just smile wide at Helena's reaction. "I love you too. But this suprise isn't over just yet. I got something else." He said as he gave her a quick kiss on the lips. Chris then looked a little harder on where they were walking.

He had walked them over to an pretty empty and open section of the park. Hehe! "Alright sooo this is what I wanted to show you." He said pointing to the spot that seemed to be empty but was it realllllly???

Something else? What could possibly be more than that?? But the quick kiss to her lips left her not thinking much about anything else. When they stopped, she looked around, frowning briefly but then catching herself and smiling widely over at him. It's beautiful, Mr. Kaplan, she said.

"Well I'm glad you think sooo. But this isn't quite it." Chris said before taking a quickly glance to see if anybody was around and thankfully there weren't any. He took his wand out and flicked it quickly in the air. That's when a picnic basket appeared with a nicely folded blanket on top. He put his wand back away and looked over at Lena smiling widely. "Soooo what do you think of this?"

Awwwww crap! What delicious bit of romanticism was he going to throw at her now. Her confusion turned up a bit as he pulled out his wand, but a smile that said 'omg that's soooo cute!' appeared on her face as the picnic basket and blanket appeared. I think, if possible, I might love you even more, she said quietly with a smile before turning and kissing him full on the mouth.

Yesss! Chris had done his job for the day. That smile said everything. But at Lena's answer Chris's just smiled a little wider if possible. "I love you,too." He answered before she had turned and was kissing him full on the mouth. Chris kissed Helena back as one of his hands moved into her curls and he didn't think about pullig back just yet.

Helena smiled briefly within the kiss as she felt one of Chris's hands in her hair. One of her own arms was around his neck the next moment, but a few seconds later, she pulled back, remaining close to him, still. Her green eyes were a tad bit teary, but not too much. I love you, Chris Kaplan, she whispered.

All Chris's mind could think about was Helena. It was weird but he felt his heart racing and he had butterflies in his stomach like this was the first time the two had kissed or something. Which of course it wasn't be he actually liked the feeling a lot. He felt Lena pull back from the kiss but staying close to him. He looked into her eye to find that they were teary. He placed his hand on her cheek and stroked it carefully. "I love you too Helena Crawley." He whispered back smiling brightly to her.

Helena brought one hand up to meet his on her cheek. She smiled at Chris in return and kissed him carefully on the cheek. She chuckled lightly. So am I going to get to see what's in that basket or is it just there for decoration? she asked jokingly, though she still wasn't moving out from where she was.

Chris was completely lost in Lena's eyes, her bright green eyes. But he smiled slightly when she kissed his cheek though quickly laughing at her question. "Sorry Lena it's just here for decreation. " He joked as he let go of her and he took the blanket unfolding it and placing it on the ground nice and neat. Which he then sat down on and patted the place next to him. "You have to come down here first before you can find out." He said with a small laugh.

Helena rolled her eyes with a grin, but she smiled and plopped down beside him on the blanket nonetheless, glad she'd worn jeans after all. I can't believe I have to sit on the ground for you! she said with fake shock in her voice before laughing. As if we've never sat on the ground before.... She shook her head with another small laugh.

"Yes Helena I know I'm very needy I make you sit on the ground. I'm such a baaaad boyfriend." He said laughing slightly. He then opend up the basket. "Maybe this will make up for having to sit on the ground." He said handing Lena a rose. "Umm what else is in here." He then pulled out two sandwhiches, pretezles, two brownies, and the two glasses. To top it alllll of he put out a bottle of sparkling cider. "Now I know this is quite as romantic as everything else issss. But I then again put this together less than an hour before your plane landed." He said with a small laugh.

Helena chuckled and took one of his hands lightly. No, you're the absolute perfect boyfriend, she assured him with a small smile. As Chris pulled out the rose and handed it to her, that small smile grew. See what I mean? she said a bit breathlessly as she met his gaze once more. No, no - it's absolute perfect. Her eyes went from the rose to his own eyes again, and, once more, she was kissing him sweetly.

Chris smiled wide before he felt Lena's sweet kiss. That he soo returned one hand still holding her's while the other on her cheek. "Absolutely perfect eh?" He asked grinning. "If you think I'm perfect you must like imperfection." He said with a small chuckle.

Maybe I do, Helena said, raising one of her eyebrows and kissing him once more very lightly. I take it that won't be a problem? she asked quietly with a small chuckle. She kissed him again before pulling back. Maybe it was the rose.... maybe it was the picnic lunch.... maybe it was just being with Chris again - whatever it was, Lena was feeling extremely flirtatious.
