It's the summer after Helena Crawley graduated from Hogwarts and she's off to America to visit her boyfriend of a year and a half - Chris. So much as happened since they'd been apart the past year, though - will things stay the same? Or will the two fall apart with the addition of their new acquaintances?

Chris laughed lightly as he heard Lena's words. "Yesss that was Mike. I'm sure he will be thrilled to see you again." He said smiling wide. Chris couldn't feel jealous or anything it was only Mike...

Helena grinned and finally pulled back from the hug. Well, let's not keep Mike waiting then, she said with a laugh before stopping for a moment and thinking. Hmmmm.... pressing her luck maybe? Doubt it - it was Chris! One condition, she warned him seriously.

Chris looked at Lena as she pulled back from the hug. "Umm yes he might get upset." He said with a small chuckle. One condition? Uh-oh Lena was thinking again. This good be really really good. Or really really bad. But of course Chris couldn't say no it was Lennnna! "And what might this condition be?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

Lena smirked; she knew Chris wouldn't say no to her, no matter what the condition would have ended up being. Lucky for him, this was a good condition. The condition is I get to cook - I can't imagine the last time you had a good home-cooked meal.... any of you, she said with a grin.

Chris's eyes lit up as he heard Lena. "I'm sooooo not going to fight you on this one." He said with a small laugh. "I haven't had a good home cooked meal since Christmas time. Yeahhh Danny's girlfriend trys but I think Mike cooks even better than she does." He said with a small chuckle.

Helena laughed, though the mention of 'Christmas' made her a bit uneasy, as they had had a huge fight the day before their one-year anniversary. Good. I wouldn't want to have to fight with you right now, she said with a wink. I'll help you out, she added, putting some of the food back into the basket with a small smile on her lips.

Chris saw that the metion of Christmas Lena seemed to tighten up slightl. Sigh. The past few Christmas seem to suck for him. First Melinda dies, than he finds out his girlfriend loves another guy and they end up fighting. That's just greeeat. "I'd never want to fight with you." He said smiling. "Thank you Miss." He said as she started to help pick up and Chris did the same.

You're very welcome, Helena said with a small chuckle. It wasn't long before everything was packed up besides the blanket they were still sitting on. As she closed the top of the basket, Lena's eyes landed and stayed on the grass beside them as another 'thinking' look came over her face.

It wasn't long after was everything put way. Chris was about to stand up and fold the blanket once more when he looked at Helena again. She looked deep in a thought. "What is it?" He asked softly placing his hand gently on her back as he still stared at her. What could she possibly be thinking about now???

Helena's head snapped up as Chris's hand touched her back gently. Sorry, I was just.... Damn. No good excuse for that one. Forget it - I'll talk to you about it later on. Let's just get home, okay? she said, taking both of his hands in hers and kissing him gently.

Chris watched Lena curiously. He started to worry a little bit. Was it bad??? Could it be bad??? "Yeah okay." He said softly before he felt Lena take his hands and kiss him gently which he kissed her back. "It's not something...well bad is it?" He asked as he pulled back from the kissed as he kept her hands in his.

Helena kept herself from sighing as Chris pulled back, knowing she wasn't totally off the hook yet. She shook her head, though, at his question. No, it's not, she said with a small flicker of a smile. It was all she could really manage. Lena knew that she'd have to talk to Chris about it soon, even if he didn't push it.

Thank goodness! Chris let out a sigh of relief when she said it wasn't anything bad. He wasn't going to push this. When Helena wanted to talk to him about whatever this was she would. That's the whole point in trusting somebody right??? "Well when ever you want to talk I'm always ready to listen." He said smiling towards. "We should get going though." He said standing up and offering his hand to Lena.

Good to know, she said with a smile. With that, Lena took Chris's hand and used it to help herself up. I'm ready when you are, she added with a smile as she stepped off the blanket and started quickly folding it; there went the 'girl' instinct in her, as always.

Even though Chris didn't push on knowing what Lena was about to say it doesn't mean he still didn't think about it. What could it be??? He felt Lena take his hand and he held pull her up. He then couldn't help but chuckle as she went and folded up the blanket quickly. "Here." He said helping her fold it.

Helena smiled as Chris helped her fold the blanket. Thanks, she said. It made the time go a lot easier. Most of it was in her head, but it did help, geez! Ready to go then? she asked, putting the blanket over her arm and looking up at Chris with a smile.

Chris picked up the basket as Lena folded the blanket over her arm. Geeez something about her just didn't seem like Lena. Whatever it was she had to tell him was really eating her away it seemed. "Yep." He said taking her had walking back down the path and out of the park.

Lena smiled as Chris took her hand and they made their way out of the park. The trip home seemed to take much shorter time than getting there had, and Helena spent most of it with her head on Chris's shoulder in silence as she continued just to think. She tried not to, but without anything to say, it was the only thing to do. Finally, they were coming up the steps and onto the now-familiar street close to the apartment building.

The trip home was short and quiet. Chris noticed Lena's head on his shoulder most of the time and would sometimes look over at her to find she was still in a deep thought. What was this alllll about?! But as they walked down the street and near the apartmeant building he opened the door holding it open until Lena was in and he went over and pushed the button for the elevator.

He waited still holding Lena's hand. He looked over to her. "Are you alright?" He asked finally breaking the silence for the first time since they had left the park.

Helena gave Chris a small smile as he held the door open for her. As they waited for the elevator, though, he finally spoke. She looked over at him as he did and found him watching her. She nodded, the small smile reappearing. I'm great - promise, she said, leaning over and kissing him lightly once as the elevator dinged and the doors opened for them.

Chris smiled lightly as he felt that kiss on his lips. "Alright I believe you." He said smiling widely to her. He then walked into elevator and once Helena was in with him hit pushed the number three again and looking back at Lena with out saying anything just having a smile on his face. "Bet you anything they are already in the apartment." He said with a small laugh.

Once the door opened once more he still held Lena's hand as he walked out of the elevator and straight to the apartment door. Not evening bothering to look for a key he turned the knob. Yeahhhh they were already in there. "C'mon." He said rolling his eyes slightly with a small grin on his face.

"Chris!" Mike jumped up from his seat and attacked Chris in a hug not pulling back quickly either.

Helena laughed lightly. I think I'll trust you on that one, she said with a small grin as the door opened and she walked out into the hallway with Chris's hand still in hers. Right behind you, she managed through a chuckle as he found the door unlocked. As Mike jumped Chris for a hug, Lena silently slid her hand out of his and tried not to interrupt them. Hahaha.

Woah! Why was Mike hugging him when Lena was right there??? Chris felt Lena let go of his hand and he rolled his eyes slightly. "I missed you too Mike because I haven't seen you in like two days." He said very sarcasticly as he patted his friends back. "Okay you can get off of me." He said.

"But I don't wanna!" Mike whinned though he did let go off Chris and turned to Lena. Hehe! He had the same goofy smile as he did last time. If anything she became even hotter. "Hey Lennna." He said trying to sound smooth.

Chris shut the door and looked back at Mike. "Mike you got a little bit of drool right here." He said as he flicked his cheek. "Alrigt sooo you know Danny and that's Maggie." Chris said to Lena pointing to the two on the couch as he walked back over to her.

Lena chuckled as Chris got mike to get off of him, but as the latter turned to and addressed her. She rolled her eyes but smiled regardless. Nice to see you too, Mike, she said with another small chuckle. As Chris came back over to her, Lena followed his finger to the couch and managed to keep her smile. Hey, Danny. It's nice to meet you, Maggie, she said politely.

"Hi." Maggie said just as polite. Welll it wasn't like she liked Chris or anything but she knew Chris's girlfriend probably wasn't thrilled about the idea of her big the only girl in the band maybe???

Righhhht this wasn't werid. "Okayyyy so you guys are here again because Austin said we got some big shot guy coming tomorrow right?" He asked sitting down in the arm chairs. "Sooo what are you guys here to pratices or something? Because we are just heading to the studio tomorrow."

"Yes and noooo. One of us has to talk with the guy as well.....like meeting. Annnd we think you should." Danny said.

Greatttt Chris was not one who liked to do these kinds of things. It was more music he liked to do not talk to some guy as to why he should sign them and having to agree to abunch of stuff. "Right then." He said running a hand through his hair.
