Jake smiled as she curled into his side, she seemed a little more awake. Maybe the bit of power she used drained her. He chuckled, "Yeah, I guess we can be pretty frightening can't we? I think it's more of you attract them with your beauty, I repel them by my size. We really do make quite the interesting pair." he looked into the fire, same as Tari, then when he heard her ask him if he knew she loved him, his heart sped up, but he mentally shook himself. He leaned over and gently brushed his lips against her forehead. She only meant as a friend, her best friend. "I know, Tariana, I love you too."

Tyler laughed , "Probably ran off , you know how Tyler is , once the pretty mysterious girl leaves , he leaves ." Tyler said while laughing he then looked at Kathryn , "You are pretty too , it just came out wrong I'm sorry. "Tyler said looking down at the ground .

"Sixth, and I'm in Ravenclaw, probably the best house here." Jude chuckled, and ruffled his hair again. Wow, but of a grilling. "And what about you? I'm guessing Gryffindor, just because you sat at their table." He smiled.

"Yeah dude, Jude." Yes, the rhymed, hopefully no one noticed. Haha. "Nice to meet ya' Jacob." Jude smiled at him also and gave a nod. And before he knew it, Tariana and Jacob were gone.

"Oi! I'm still here, I didn't just turn invisible did I?" Jude turned to face Tyler and Katheryn and raised an eyebrow, wondering why they thought he had left just becuase she has. "I'm not a stalker ... not yet anyway." Jude winked, and then gave out a sinister laugh. She was incredibly good-looking though, and that was Jude's favourite type of girl, definitely. But then he he noticed the tiniest spark between Katheryn and Tyler, how cute! "C'mon Kath, you know Tyler wasn't being rude." A smile appeared at the corner of Jude's lips. "You are a very pretty girl." Suddenly, Jude let out a yawn and covered his mouth. "Ugh, I don't want to go to the Ravvie dorms yet. It sucks not being in Hufflepuff with you to."

"Kind of funny how a werewolf can make a hybrid vamp feel normal huh?" he replied with a chuckle. He adjusted his arm so it was around her shoulder, if anyone came in, it would appear they were dating, but he and Tari were so close, they were always like this. And it was never awkward. Jake thought about what she asked, Why would me think Hermione pretty make her jealous...? He thought, before saying aloud, "No, I don't think so." before thinking longer, maybe he and Tari were spending too much time together? He didn't want a repeat of his old life. He couldn't go through that again. He rested his head on hers.

Tyler turned and saw Jude ,"I didn't see you , Jude ." Tyler said looking over at Jude . He rolled his eyes , "Are you seriously going to try to date her? I honestly think she has a thing for Jacob , but that's just me ." He hen shrugged his shoulders and turned back to Katheryn , his red probably red . "Kat , we should probably head up to the dorms.."he said looking at her.

Jacob stared down at the top of her head. He wasn't sure how long he could go with these arrangement, he could put up with this until Tariana found the guy she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, then he'd be able to date. But did he want that? For now he was perfectly fine with being her Jacob, he didn't need to be anyone else's. But he knew, she'd never be his Tariana, not except as his best friend, and the one he'd sworn to protect, all for entirely selfish reasons. "It's alright, Tari." he whispered, stroking her hair.

Jacob watched her drift off, she said that now, but sleep was like a drug, it could make you whacky. He watched the fire for awhile, before he drifted off to sleep himself.

Katheryn laughed. "Yeah," she said, "Sounds like him alright." She couldn't help blushing at what Tyler said. "Thanks. You don't have to be sorry, it's ok," she said. She liked compliments and this one was the best one she'd received.

Katheryn turned around and saw Jude. She rolled her eyes at Jude's comment on not being a stalker yet. She knew that he would stalk the new girl as soon as possible. She was definitely his type. At least she thinks the new girl was. Katheryn blushed even more, if possible and said, "I know. Thanks Jude." She didn't know what was happening today. All of a sudden Tyler and Jude were giving her compliments and she was being as shy as a bride. She laughed. "That's what you get for being too clever," she said to Jude. Turning to Tyler she said, "Yeah. That's probably a good idea."

Tyler nodded and said "Jude , I will talk to you later." he said as he started walking with her . "I am so tired ." he said , walking next to her , then yawning .

"Bye Jude," Katheryn said, waving. She turned back round and walked with Tyler. "You sound tired," she said.

He nodded , "Yeah I am always tired though , even during the day. It seems I could get months of sleep and still manage be tired ." He said smiling at her , his big brown eyes looking at her .

Katheryn laughed. "Wow," she said, "Do you fall asleep in class?"

Tyler shook his head , "no , not a lot anyway ,besides History of Magic , most boring class ever." he stated . Tyler wanted to puthis arm around her or be more flirty but he couldn't, he knew he would fail miserably .

Up until now, Harry had been pretty quiet, not because he didn't have anything to say, but because he was trying not to fall asleep on his feet. Collapsing in the middle of the Great Hall would not be the best idea; it would draw too much unnecessary attention, and he got more than enough of that as it was.

He didn't know - or care - how much time had passed before he realized Hermione and Ron were speaking to him, saying something about going to the common room. Sounded good to him. "Yeah, okay, let's go," he agreed, blinking to refocus, then followed his two friends to the common room.

Jacob woke on the couch, finding Tariana gone. He shrugged slightly, figuring she had probably relocated to her dorm. He stood and streched, it was time for that run he promised himself earlier. Tari should be fine as of now. He ran out the portrait and ran down the stairs and out into the cold evening. Taking off towards the woods he began to shake, before jumping into the air, transforming into his wolf form. He couldn't help it, he looked up at the moon and let out a gut-wrenching howl. He hoped it didn't wake anyone up.

Draco never had been much for sleep. And this night was no different. Instead of retiring to his dorm, he was reading a book by light of the moon, sitting on a windowsill in a deserted hallway. Nothing but the occasional professor had ever disturbed him before.... nothing until her. Draco looked up, shutting his book lightly and his keen eyes searching the darkness until he saw her. It's a bit late to be wandering unfamiliar corridors, isn't it? he asked with a small, sly smile as he slid onto his feet.

Draco let out a small, stiff chuckle at her words, not failing to notice the coldness of them. Ah, but you see, I am much more used to the dark corridors, he said, gesturing lightly to the dimly-lit passage. And sleeping has never really gotten me anywhere before, so why start now? he asked with a shrug. I didn't get to introduce myself earlier, by the way - Draco Malfoy, he said, sticking his hand out a bit arrogantly for her to shake and inclining his head ever-so-slightly towards her.

Jacob ran through the woods, feeling exhilarted at being able to move so freely, no worries in the world. It was almost like his human form was just a shell, this, this was him! The real Jake, but only Tari knew it. Speaking of Tari, he still was confused on what happened earlier. He took a deep breath, catching a faint whiff of a combination of vampire and human, Jake gave a barking laugh. It was Tariana, it was almost as if she knew when she was being thought about. He ran towards the opposite end of the woods, following her scent. Reaching where she was, he shook his head fondly as she disposed of the remains of her latest catch. He began to quiver, returning back to his human form, and walking towards her, now only clothed in a pair of ripped jeans, now shorts. He had been stupid and forgot to remove his shirt, now being left without one. Stepping into the moonlight, he smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry. Did my howl wake you up?"
