Ron nudged Harry and Hermione as they came back into the hall. "Hey. They came back." He said to them, pointing in their direction. It thought it was odd how they didn't come over to apologize for running off. They obviously didn't want to talk to anyone so Ron decided not to suggest going over again.
Tyler nodded and then sighed .He had no hope to be with Tariana , especially with Jude around . Tyler turned around and could see Jacob and her walk into the school again . "That Jacob guy is pretty cool ."Tyler said , shoving his hands in his pockets and looking at Tariana . "oh yeah , she will . I can tell because I can read minds .Like I would know..." Tyler said sarcastically .
"Oh that's good. We don't want him ripping our heads off if we talk to her." Jude laughed. He didn't really want a giant guy coming after him if he did so much as flirt with the girl. "Ooooooh." Jude snickered as Tyler used a sarcastic tone. "C'mon, let's see if we can each get a date with her."

He ruffled his hair a little, not like he needed to check if he looked good, he ALWAYS looked good. Jude was hoping to meet this Jacob guy too, it was always good to be buds with a bodyguard of a guy, as Jude was only slim.
As if the human had power over her, Tariana seemed to forget Jacob and walked over to where he stood with the group of students, her eyes smoldering, her smile bright. She had everything under control now. "Sorry about that, everyone," she said. "I just needed a little... air. Jacob was worried." Her eyes stayed on the boy as she spoke. "And who are you?" she questioned as her eyes darkened slightly. Without even thinking about it, she had turned her power on, her charm slowly coming out. She didn't notice as her eyes stayed locked with the boy. He was one of the most attractive humans she had ever met, and she couldn't help but be drawn in to him. Plus his scent was intoxicating, causing her throat to tingle. Doing her best to ignore the feeling, she stayed near but not too close to him.
Jacob shook his head, now she was totally blowing him off, all this must have really been getting to her. Suddenly she walked off, locking eyes with a male human standing with the group. He considered just leaving, he needed time to think himself. He must have said something to make her mad, but then again, he remembered his promise, I won't let you hurt them! sighing, he followed, as he looked up he saw her looking eyes with the guy and he could feel her charm coming out. Stepping closer he gave them all a strained smile, "Yeah, sorry guys!" he replied, placing a hand on Tariana's shoulder and applying slight pressure. It was signal, he was trying to warn her to cut off the power.

Draco had been watching the entrance of the two new students with a curious air about him, but as they sat down at the Gryffindor Table and were immediately swamped by Potter and his dim-witted cronies, he decided not to look too desperate as to go over. But that girl.... wow, she was something else.
Still Draco looked back up as she reentered with the really big intimidating guy; he even managed a small smile, though she then looked over at that annoying Ravenclaw in his year. He rolled his eyes and returned his gaze to his food for the time being; he would meet her that night - of that he would make certain.

Tyler shrugged his shoulders , "I don't have a chance with her or any girl for that matter. "he said as she walked back over . He felt a lump in his throat . "Hey , Jacob and Tariana ..." he said , watching Tariana lock eyes with Jude. Great...
"What d'you mean? You have just as much chance as anyone else in this school." Jude smiled, he didn't want Tyler's self esteem to drop just because of her.
As the girl arrived, Jude gave Tyler a nudge, as if to say We're in!. Haha, maybe not as of yet, but wouldn't it have been great if they were? Especially with such a girl as this one. Jude really hoped she was a Ravenclaw. "Me? Name's Jude, nice to meet you Miss." He gave her a smile, and then looked at the larger boy. "And nice to meet you, Jacob? Is it?"
Wow, it really felt like this girl had turned a magnet on or something, could she really get prettier than when she was before? He watched as her eyes seemed to darken in a strange and mysterious way; now he'd never seen that before.

Hermione couldn't think of what to do, and wasn't going to stand her for nothing so she spun around to Harry and Ron and spoke to them so that only they could hear. "Something strange is going on, and I don't like it. She's in our house so I think while were in here now we act normal then in the common room get to know her then, when less people are around" she said this all quite fast and low.
Tyler laughed , " Stop lying . " he said and then turned to the girl with a small smile . "Hey , Tariana , Jacob . " he said waving to both of them and then turning his head to Jude who seemed quite interested in her . He sighed.
Tyler frowned as she gave Jude more attention then him ,"how are you ? " he asked with his hands in his pockets , looking at her straight in the face ,attempting to be much more confident .

Feeling the heat from Jacob's grip, Tariana's eyes flashed and went back to their normal violet color, her charm turned off. She stepped on Jacob's foot and muttered, "Killjoy" to him before turning back to the group, her attention mainly on the human who she didn't know. Now she was finally back to normal.
But then she felt another gaze, and she turned to meet one of a pale-haired, gray-eyed boy. Well, well, he was attractive too! Maybe coming to Hogwarts wasn't so bad. She flashed him a smile as well, this time trying her hardest to avoid using her power.
She turned back with lighter eyes to the other boy, Jude, as he spoke. "It's nice to meet you, Jude. I'm Tariana Zakir. What year and house are you in?"
She smiled and waved back to Tyler. "Hello."
Jake groaned exaspheratedly, running a hand through his short cropped hair. It was good he wasn't hurt easily, but now Tari was on a rage, she got over her shyness and not was on the flirty streak, he stepped back, removing his hand, it was best for him to observe from a distance. He smiled at Tyler, "Hey mate!" and nodded towards the other guy, "Yeah, I'm Jacob, nice to meet you...Jude?" he replied. Then watched the other three, they looked suspicious, and that wasn't good for him and Tari. "So what house are you?" he asked, forcing a smile towards Ron, Harry, and Hermione.

He waved a Jacob , smiling . This guy looked so scary but he wasn't too bad . He looked up at Jacob , which he rarely did because most people were not taller than himself . "So what was up with you running out all of a sudden ? " Tyler asked, hoping he wasn't asked too personal of a question .

"I guess father should've given me more human training before he sent me off to a place crawling with humans," she mumbled. Her hand raked through her hair, her cloak flapping against her body in the wind. "A walk," she said. "I think I need to take a walk."
Without waiting for an answer, she strode off towards the forest, not waiting for Jake to follow. He'd fall into step next to her.

Katheryn laughed at Jude's interpretation of anything connected to the Muggle world. She turned around to see the new girl and was shocked to see the size of the boy standing next to her. She saw Tyler getting up to go and greet the new girl and was very surprised. It was usually Jude who did that sort of thing. She certainly wasn't surprised when Jude himself went up as well. Sighing she decided to follow as well seeing as it was better than just standing there. She waited for her turn and said, "Hey, I'm Katheryn. Katheryn Young." She held out her hand...

He laughed not really sure why she was laughing . He shook his head , his face still red . He raised his eyebrow about her next comment , but decided not to say anything . "Ah.. you know there is plenty of air in here..." he said , still smiling at her , hoping he was getting her good vibes. He didn't want to seem like some weird freak .Tyler then smiled at Katheryn ,"Hey ."

Hermione clicked her fingers impaintenly in front of Rons face. She didn't like the way he was looking at her at all, looking over at Tariana she noticed then how beutiful she was. This made her feel slightly jealous and want to find out more about her. "cake" she smiled handing some cake out to Ron knowing he couldn't resist and hoping to take his eyes of Tariana.

Jacob, on the other hand, was a killjoy who thought Hermione was 'really pretty'. This displeased Tariana very much. She had no idea why, but jealousy was still roaring in her stomach over that. How dare he think Hermione was 'really pretty'? She was so plain, with her mousy bushy brown hair and brown eyes, whereas Tariana looked exotic, dangerous and gorgeous. But it didn't matter because she wasn't with Jacob like that; he probably didn't ever think of her that way. She was just his best friend, and he had to play her babysitter in case she got herself into trouble or trouble came looking for her. He would never think of her in that way, and she'd just have to accept it, even if she didn't want to. My Jacob, she thought. He's mine. Maybe she would tell him why she was upset, but it would be later when they were alone. Until then, she kept her cool around the humans.
Tyler's words made her stiffen. "I needed air," she repeated. She had said this earlier, when she had returned.
When the other girl came up, she turned and smiled at her. "Nice to meet you, Katheryn. I'm Tariana Zakir." She eyed her hand, refusing to shake it. She couldn't. Eep!
Katheryn felt slightly sad at being left behind but she smiled at her instead. "Nice to meet you too Tariana," she said, "How are you liking Hogwarts so far?"

"Um, it's alright, I suppose," she answered. "A little big, and full, of hu- people, but nothing I won't be able to manage." She smiled smoothly. The perfect liar, she was. Having vampire instincts was easy when it came to hiding her secret.
Ron didn't realise Jacob was talking to them until he was just staring at them for ages. He stepped forwards and spoke seeing as the other two clearly weren't going to. "Uh, were in Gryffindor.. Same as you.. R-right?" He said awkwardly. He didn't like the look of Jacob. Too big.
Jacob nodded, he was attempting to smile, but it wasn't fully reaching his eyes. He was confused, what had happened outside? One minute they were fine, next Tari was running back inside. He really needed to go for a run, it always cleared his head, but he couldn't just leave her. He'd have to wait until this evening. Ugh! God this was frustrating! It was always so hard watching her flirt with other guys, but he couldn't tell her about how he fell in love with her first time he saw her! Could he? No, no, no! Definitely not, that would ruin things and **** her and her dad off. He didn't need that. He really really didn't need that.
Speaking up Jake added, "Yeah, plus, well, don't laugh but I can get a little claustrophobic sometimes, so we just had to step out for a moment. Sorry again!" Then turning back to Ron he nodded, "Yeah, Gryffindor!" he said, though in truth he had no idea what that fully meant, he was trying to start conversation. "So, um, what'd you all do for fun around here?" he then saw the new girl and smiled, "Oh hey, Kathyrn, pleasure to meet you!" he said with a feeble wave.

He shrugged his shoulders , "No one else was talking to Tariana at the time so I figured I should welcome her and Jacob . " Tyler said and then adding "I'm sorry for leaving you , it just felt like I needed to actually be out going for once and talk to someone ." He looked at Jacob , "Ah ,I see . Minus classes and stuff we take these trips to this place called Hogsmeade it is really fun . " Tyler stated , trying to think of other stuff they do , "We have quidditch matches and stuff too but I am not really into Quidditch , I prefer doing more muggle things." Tyler said .
