Draco turned back to her, his pale eyebrows raised and his eyes wide, though a smile was still playing on his face. Well, I apologize for being born looking a certain way, but you're being extremely rude, you know, he said, frowning at the end. Honestly, what was her problem? But still, she could be useful. I'm smart because I know where I stand if I want to survive, he added lowly, his eyes narrowed slightly.

Tariana rolled her eyes. "I don't care about being rude," she growled, the sound more animalistic and less human. It was frightening. "I want to know what you're up to, and why I can't seem to get away from you. I don't trust you." She listened as he spoke. "'Know where to stand'? And just where would that be?" She crossed her arms, her sharp eyes blazing as she stared at his face. She was thirsty, and the unknown anger she felt toward Draco had her feeling as if she were on fire, every nerve and fiber of her body burning.

Draco's smile came off as her words sounded more animal than human. Okay, maybe there was more to her than he was even thinking. And what am I up to? he asked angrily, not at all scared - maybe a little intimidated, but she was a girl, what could she do to him?? On the winning side - I'm smart enough to save myself and anyone who wants to be saved, he said, mirroring her crossed arms.

Tariana's fingernails seemd to retract as she rolled her hands up into fists, doing all she could do to keep herself from attacking the pale human. "I don't know what you're up to, but I know it's no good, so you can kill the innocent act now." She growled the last word. Her breathing was becoming raggid, her heartbeat fluttering even faster than a hummingbird's wings. Her eyes darkened, turning more black than violet as her thirst became overwhelming. She stepped right up to him, so close that she knew he would feel her warm sweet breath on his face. "I know you're up to something, and I bet it involves that guy everyone fears, the one they call you-know-who. Don't. Lie. To. Me." She let out another growl. "You probably think you'll win with him, but you won't." She had to refrain from touching the human, or slamming him to the wall like she wanted to. It was so hard. She wanted to double over in the pain, the yearning she had to snap his neck and drink his blood. Or at least strike out at him with all the anger she held. One more smart remark or lie from him and she had an awful feeling she'd injure him.

Draco was getting a little more intimidated as well as confused at why she was becoming so angry with him. But then she stepped right up against him and he was in half a mind to step back, but he remained where he was. He could feel her sweet breath on his face, taste everything he smelled, but as his gaze reached her eyes, he found them black. He mentally gulped. And what will happen to you when you turn out to be wrong? he asked quietly, feeling completely bewildered and intrigued at the same time; it was very confusing.

Tyler opened his mouth to answer her however , nothing came out . Curse his nerves , why couldn't he be more outgoing like Jude . He turned to see Jude walking up to them and he smiled. I think your dad will be okay with it, you can just send him an owl tomorrow. he nodded to Kat , "You ready Jude ?"he asked.

The pale human was staring too closely at her. Stepping back, Tariana growled. "Nothing will ever happen to me, no matter how hard anyone tries to destroy me. You're a fool, Draco Malfoy. It would be so unfortunate for you to lose your life because of it." She effortlessly ripped the thick magazine in her hand in half, crumpled up the pieces and flung them onto the ground. She had said too much and she was angry with herself. Pulling her cloak on, she let the hood fall over her dark eyes. Not paying any attention to whether the pale human followed her or not, she turned and took off down the hall.

Jacob suddenly had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach. Abandoning the food in front of him, he took off towards where he lost saw Tari heading, full speed too, Tariana'd be angry, he was moving way too fast to be human. He spotted her and increased his speed. "Tari! What happened, are you alright?" she looked angry, was it because of his pace? Oh great, two gaurdian fails in one day.

Once she knew they were out of hearing from Draco, Tariana turned the corner and spun Jacob around so that she had him pinned to the wall. She didn't mean to be so agressive, but it had happened. She looked up at him, her black eyes darker than his. "I was right," she hissed. "There is something off about Draco, and he practically just confirmed it. I nearly lost it, Jake. I nearly attacked him. I was so close; I even got in his face. I don't know why, but he just made me so angry!" Releasing Jacob's wrists, she turned so her back was to him. "I almost lost control. And I accidently let it slip that I can't be destroyed." She let out an angry growl and struck at the wall, leaving a hole in it. Particles from the stone drifted like dust to the ground. Tariana had no idea why she was so upset. Collasping to the ground, she sat cross legged against the wall opposite Jacob, looking up at him. "Why can't I just act normal for once?!"

Jacob growled, and looked back to where the Malfoy kid had been. He was a little surprised when she pinned him but said nothing. This wasn't good! He was soooo fired! "Tariana, calm down." he said to her, though then again, he was also speaking to him. "We can fix this, I know we can. Once you calm down, just go back and control him. Don't you have the power to make him forget?" he was still a little fuzzy on all the rules of her power. When she collapsed Jake leaned down next to her, "I'm sorry Tari, but we, we can never be normal. We need to accept that." he looked towards the ground, she was wrong if she thought he liked being the way he was. People were always scared of him from his size and he had to run when his temper was tested.

Tariana's throat felt as if someone were shoving a thousand knives down her throat. She closed her eyes, trying to inhale and exhale. She was a knot of nerves, and she was thirsty. So thirsty. All she could think of was the taste of blood running down her throat. Her stomach turned in hunger.
"I should be able to fix it," she murmured. Her lips were dry; she licked them helplessly. "But right now, I seriously need to feed." She rose wobbily from where she had been sitting, her legs feeling like noodles. Her knees buckled but she held herself up. Her back was to Jacob. "Of course I can never be normal. Normal people don't nearly kill people out of anger or crave blood like their lives depend on it." She took off for the nearest exit, sprinting out into the night and into the forest, appearing nothing more than a blur. Once she was in the forest, she stopped and listened, her sharp eyes searching the forest. They landed on a stag. Taking off, she ran to the animal, tackling it and sinking her fangs into its neck. She sucked the animal clean of blood. Much better. Dropping the corpse, she took out her wand and shrunk it, setting it on fire to delete all the evidence. She sat down on the ground, feeling much better.

Jacob opened his mouth to reply when suddenly, she was gone. Off to feed. He was worried about her though, so he took off after, changing into his wolf form and dashing into the woods. He followed her scent until he reached her, it appeared she just finished her meal. He dropped down on the ground next to her, he was more of there as a comfortable presence.

What? Was this crazy chick trying to say she was invincible? What a load of waffle. As she ripped the magazine, Draco flinched slightly, but as she took off down the hall, he called after her, I should be the one worrying about my life, princess, and headed off in the opposite direction.

Once Jacob sat down next to Tariana, she immediately pulled off her hood and leaned into his giant side, her face rubbing against his fur. He was so comforting. Closing her eyes, she stayed where she was for a long time, silent, as if she had fallen asleep. Her breathing became even.
"Maybe coming here wasn't such a good idea...," she murmured softly, sadness oozing off her words. "Perhaps we should just go home, where we can be weird and different all we want to and not have to suffer because of it." Leaning all the way back, she let her head rest on Jacob's stomach as she laid down, looking up between the tree branches to see the stars in the sky. She curled into his side, her eyes still closed.

Jacob whined, he hated seeing her so sad and depressed. They were different it was true, but there was nothing that could be done. They just had to live with it all. He nuzzeled her neck, trying to tell her no matter what he was there. He knew this was hard for her. It always was and probably always would be.

A small smile crossed her lips. "We always end up in the forest, don't we?" She said. "Guess that reflects on who we are. What we are." Exhaling, she patted her muzzle. "I love you, Jake. I love you so much. Please don't ever forget that. You do far more for me than I could ever ask for or deserve. If the size of someone's heart could be measured in gold, then you'd be the richest man to ever live." She kissed his muzzle, the motion the same as if she were kissing his cheek had he been in human form.

Jake gave a wolfish smile, he loved her too, and he was sure she knew that. He chuckled at her analogy, he was rich when it came to her. That Draco kid probably wouldn't be able to see that side of Jake, ever.

Tariana sighed. "Can you phase back to human form, please?" she asked him. "I want to hug you."

Jake gave a wolfish laugh and stood carefully, making sure she wasn't leaning against him so she'd fall. Standing he loped off in the woods and transformed back into human form. He walked back out of the woods and opened his arms for her to step into them.

Tariana rose from the ground, running to Jake and flinging herself into his arms with such force that had he been human, she would've knocked him down. She burried her face in his chest, inhaling his scent. She never got tired of Jacob; he always felt brand new to her, even if she had known him forever. Pulling back far enough to look up, her eyes locked with his. They were inches apart; she could feel his warm breath tickling her cheeks. Kiss me her eyes willed him. Kiss me now. She wanted Jacob to be pushy with her. She wanted him to make her choose him. She wanted him to be open with his feelings for her. She wanted all that more than anything, and she hoped desperately that he could see it all in her eyes.

Jacob laughed when Tariana threw herself at him. When she looked up at him he saw longing, for what he wasn't exactly sure, but he couldn't resist. She was so close, and she smelled so great. He leaned his head down and pressed his lips to hers, fiercely, and longingly. He wanted her. No, that was a lie, he needed her.

As Jacob kissed her, Tariana's arms wound themselves around his neck, pulling him tight against her, kissing him back with just as much as intensity as he kissed her with. After what could've been light years, Tariana pulled back, remembering that Jacob needed to breathe. She met his eyes again as she said, "I love you, Jake. Not just as my friend. I love you more than that." Her eyes searched his. "You know, I don't think we were ever meant to be 'just friends'..."

Jake breathed in deeply when she pulled back. And smiled at her, oh god, he really loved her. Hearing her Jake grinned widely, "You know Tari, I don't think I've ever agreed with you more." he replied huskily before kissing her again, just as passionate as before.

Tariana kissed him back. She inhaled again, this time the scent of Jacob's blood tickled her nose. She always found it interesting that her father thought Jacob's scent was repelling, but Tariana thought he smelled amazing. Too amazing. And he was too close. Pulling back, she put space between them, her hands on his chest. "Careful," she warned him. "Your scent is a little too tempting right now. I don't want to push it. God forbid I hurt you somehow; I'd never forgive myself."

Jacob breathed heavily and nodded, this did happen on occasion. The scent of his own blood drew her in. "Tariana, you know you can't hurt me." he said lightly, he'd been bitten before a half-vampire. His werewolf blood merely pushed it out.
