Draco was walking by when he saw Tariana talking to... Jude? That wannabe - like, seriously?? Oh, no, that wouldn't do! He casually walked over and gave Tari a small-yet-seductive smile. Good day, Tariana - fancy seeing you here, he said with a small smirk.

Tariana heard him before she turned to see him saunter over to her. Her eyes read him clearly. Cocky. Arrogant. Proud. Despite the fact that he too was very good looking, she wasn't sure if she'd be up for dealing with him. "Hello, Draco, isn't it?" She returned his smirk with a brilliant smile, her eyes darkening slightly as her charm turned on.

Wow... that smile was something else. It almost made him not want to be a jerk... well, hey! At least he could still be charming! It is, in fact, he said with a wink. He flashed a brief smile in Jude's direction before his gray eyes returned to her dark violet ones. I actually stopped by because Professor McGonagall wants a word with you, he invented convincingly.

Tariana watched Draco closely through heavily lidded eyes. His smile almost seemed... fake. Forced. Did he practice in the mirror? Acting wouldn't be something he could consider.
She arched an eyebrow. "McGonagall?" This truly surprised her. Dumbledore said he would be the only one to speak to her about her, well, situation. "What does she want with me?"

What does she want with her? ..... think, dammit! What does she want with Tariana?? Arggh!! She didn't say, but she's a sharp teacher, so probably something work-related, he said with a roll of his eyes that he didn't need to force - it was just there.

Tariana narrowed her eyes. Draco wasn't convincing. She could just use her charm to get the right answer out of him... but she couldn't get away with that without being noticed. She looked over to Jude. "Well, I guess if McGonagall needs me..." she murmured. Leaning up, she pressed a kiss to his cheek. "I'll see you later." Pulling back, she turned to Draco. "Lead the way, I suppose..."

Draco could tell she wasn't convinced, but hey, at least she was walking out on Jude, right? He smirked and led her up the staircase. When they were out of earshot of the wannabe, Draco said, I know you know I was lying back there - so why did you come? he asked curiously.

So the pale human had been lying. Tariana figured as much.
"Perhaps I'm curious as to what you want," she said, folding her arms across her chest. This Draco kid was sneaky! But she would go back to Jude soon enough.

Draco couldn't help but to smile slightly at this; it was good news, at least. Hmmm.... well, if that's the case, I guess you'll have to hold your curiosity a bit longer, he said with a light chuckle as he continued to ascend the stairs - not his usual area of the castle, but hey.

Tariana followed right behind him. "So what is it that you wanted, anyway? You know, I was kind of busy when you so rudely inturrupted me and Jude..." She rolled her eyes at the thought. So far, Pale Human Boy was not nearly as intesresting as just Human Boy.

Draco flinched slightly. Ouch - patience, patience, my dear. I only thought you might like to see something I particularly like about the castle, but... He stopped walking and sighed slightly. If you don't want to, I completely understand; I have more important things to be doing anyway.

Tariana laughed. "More important things to be doing than be with 'the new and most beautiful girl at Hogwarts'? That's what people are calling me these days." She rolled her eyes. "Surely someone as cocky and prideful as you wouldn't forget that."

Jacob sighed, now he was bored, he looked at the magazine but that just resulted in depressing him, he didn't have any cars here to tinker with! And it was driving him mad! He stood himself up and looked at the lake, oh man! He so wanted to go swimming, but then again, Tari would have his head!

He looked towards the woods, that looked like fun to! Going for a run, but from what he heard, it was off limits to students, and though that normally never bothered him, for Tariana's sake he didn't want to screw things up! Plus, there were too many people around to change in front of. Sighing he turned, hadn't Tariana been headed towards the place with all the owls with that guy Jude? He growled at the mere thought of his name, what was up with that guy? Couldn't he just leave well enough alone!? Maybe he should go find her. What could it hurt? Well, it could hurt, maybe for him. It sort of depended on whether or not her coffee took full affect. But for now, he really didn't care.

Jake took of for the owlery with long full strides, he needed to get there faster, now he was having doubts about letting her leave without him in the first place. Ugh, where could she be! he thought, then turning a corner he spotted her. Jacob's face stretched into a smile before he saw a pale, bleach blonde boy standing with her. Walking over to them he smiled at Tariana "Hello, Tari!" and turned to the other boy with a forced fake smile, "Hello, I don't believe I've met you! I'm Tariana's best friend, Jacob Black." he held his hand out, his eyes clearly challenging the other male.

Tariana heard Jacob before he approached. She listened to his footsteps as he stood up and made his way to her. He came around the corner in all of his russet glory; his beatiful dark skin, long limbs, head of black hair and dark, piercing eyes. He was gorgeous, and Tariana had to refrain from reaching out to touch him in front of Draco. She tried so hard to tear her eyes away from Jacob's full lips. Seeing him never got old; it was always like a blind person seeing light for the first time. "Hi, Jake," she said softly. Her eyes shot back and forth between Draco and Jacob. The two of them were so different in comparasion; Draco was fair and pale in all aspects of his appearance, except for his black clothing. Jacob was the exact opposite; taller and dark. Tariana's features matched Jacob's more, for they both had dark skin, black hair, full lips and heavily lidded eyes. Next to Draco, they made him sort of look, well... albino. Tariana had to bite back a giggle at the thought.

He smiled happily, hearing her voice say his name. Oh god, it was ridiculous what this girl could do to him. A mere look and he was grinning like no other, the sound of his name coming from her lips, giving him small goosebumps all over. It wasn't fair that she was able to have this affect on him. He dropped his hand, he felt stupid, just standing with his arm outstreched. Jake cleared his throat a little, the challenge flooding back into his eyes as he looked at the pale boy, his coloring sort of reminded him of...well actually, no that didn't matter who it reminded him off. He stepped back a little so he could see the pale guy and Tariana both at once. He fixated his gaze on her, momentarily ignoring the guy who might possibly be a posed threat to his relationship with Tari, if there was ever one. "So what are you to up to?" kind and caring gaze towards Tari, before being replaced by a hard hateful one towards pale kid.

Tariana watched Jacob closely, her eyes bright. She could ever so easily charm him into taking her away from Draco. Not like it would take her charm, though. Without even noticing it, she locked eyes with Jacob, the violet darkening slightly as her charm turned on. "Nothing much... Draco was going to show me his favorite part of the castle. So I take it you finished the magazine? Was there anything about the Chevy Camaro concept car in it?" She flashed him a smile.

Jake suddenly felt strange, almost as if he was now even more attracted to Tariana, though of course never knew that was possible! Hearing her, he bit back a growl, and turned with a fake, angry smile towards Draco, "Is that so?" he asked, turning back and locking eyes with hers. They were such a stunning violet shade, he couldn't look away again. Vaguely hearing her question he nodded, "Yes, there was a little bit about it. Didn't completely finish the article, I was a little...distracted." and truthfully depressed, he missed working on his cars! But there were none at Hogwarts! He smiled back, "Well, I'd hate to steal her away, Draco, I think it was, but I wanted to see if perhaps Tariana wanted to go get some lunch?" he flashed her a bright smile right back.

Tariana sighed. She was obsessed with the fact that Chevorlet was bringing its Camaro's back out in 2010, and she wanted to hear everything she could about them. And the fact that Jacob had nothing new to tell her was, well, disappointing. She lowered her charm a little, but then decided to turn it up full blast; she knew she was using Jacob, but she couldn't help it! It was entertaining to watch the way people squirmed and changed when she used her power. She listened as he spoke. "Sure," she answered, her eyes still on his. "Let's go."

Jake almost felt now as if he were losing control of his body. He vaguely heard Tariana say she'd go get food with him. Offering her his hand he chuckled, "see you later pale-boy, Draco!"

Tariana took Jacob's hand, entertwining their fingers together. Perfect fit. This caused her to cut off her power. She looked down to the ground, almost ashamed of what she had done. "Play nicely, Jacob. Draco isn't bad." Her gaze became distant.

Jacob felt her intertwine their fingers, and he smiled, her's fit perfectly in his. Suddenly he felt like he had full control of his body, as if he had been in a trance before. He tilted his head confusedly, Draco? Oh right, the pale kid. He grinned sheepishly at her, "Sorry, I guess I just got jealous again..." he looked down at the ground, he felt bad, but not entirely. He did really like her, and he got protective, alot.

"It's okay," Tariana murmured. She lightly swung their locked hands between them as they headed back outside. "I'm sorry. I used my charm on you because I wanted to get away from Draco. I shouldn't have done that." Her eyes moved up to his face to examine his reaction.

Jacob raised his eyebrow, so that's what it was like to be controlled? She'd never used it before. He considered getting mad, it was an invasion of privacy, but when he turned to look at her he knew he couldn't be mad at her. "It's alright Tari, but you should know, you didn't need to control me to get you out of there. We should have a signal for that type of thing...hmm..."

"I know," Tariana sighed. "I just... I don't have a good feeling about that Draco boy. There's something about him, something I can't quite put my finger on, but it's there, I feel it..." She didn't want to tell Jacob that she was drawn to Draco because she thought he was extremely attractive. That would break his heart. But would the evil vibe that she felt rolling off of Draco be enough to keep her away from him?

Jacob sighed, this was his fault. He was her gaurdian and he let her go without him. What if there was something off about that guy? What if something had happened to her? This, this was the kind of thing the Tariana's dad use to yell at him for. Maybe Mr. Zakir was right, maybe Jake was too young for this job. But he was still going to give it a shot. "Tariana, I owe you an apology, I should have gone with you, if there is something off about that Draco, well then you might get hurt and it will be entirely my fault. So, I'm sorry."
