Ooooo ominous I know. But we all know there's a few characters in this RPG who'd like to wring each others necks. OK, perhaps that's an understatement; practically every character wants to kill, or at least hurt, someone, for something they've done to them or others.

Confused? You should be!

Here's a brief explanation of the main events (note I said BRIEF):

Marcella, the daughter of the infamous Voldemort, God-daughter to Albus Dumbledore was constantly shifted around. Her life was lived mainly in hiding from her father. She struck up an unlikely relationship with the formidable Professor Snape who was her guardian.

He had a daughter called Kristi, by a woman called Faith Potter. For plainly obvious reasons, Voldemort wanted her dead. Duty bound by her mothers death, Snape looked after her unwilling but debatably in the end, her learnt to love her. Voldemort made him kill his own daughter with his bare hands. Thereby, ridding himself of one of the Potters.

Kristi, who resented Marcella's relationship with her father, struck up an unlikely relationship with Nick Lestrange - the resident womaniser at Hogwarts - the lovechild of Bellatrix and Voldemort (yes I'm well aware of the irony.) He too died by the hands of Snape who never approved with their relationship. Nick was a shady character who gave Kristi to Voldemort but did attempt to save her, though it was a hopeless effort.

Snape was jailed twice for a murder he did not commit. (Irony, eh? Caught for murders he didn't do, unpunished by the law for murders he did commit). He appealed the first time and was released but went back in to Azkaban for the murder of Darrin. During the course of his imprisonment, Marcella discovered she was pregnant.

While he was away she, with Nick and Kristi, who were under the protection of the Order; Tonks, Sunny, Remus and Sirius. First at the house in Norway (which belonged to Snape) and then at Hogwarts.

Sunny turned out to be a DE and betrayed Marcella, leading her to her father. Tonks, who had become his lover, was torn when Sirius started firing accusations. Eventually Sunny was redeemed when he grudgingly returned to the Riddle House to rescue the captives of Voldemort. While there, Voldemort killed the baby, Maurice (an order member), Kristi and Nick.

Sirius also had an attachment to Faith Potter (although he seemed to become attracted to other people as well - well JK did say he was a ladies man!) and was thus distraught at Kristi's death and blames Snape. Marcella blames Snape for the death of the baby and hates the fact that he admitted that he never really wanted the child. Snape is bitter and twisted (what's new?) about the whole train of events.

The main theme of this RPG? The wounded lick their scars and become broody, bitter, melancholy and vengeful.

Will Snape become so embittered that he returns to the dark side, the light having given him no hope?

Will Marcella become so embittered that she crawls back to her father?

Will Sirius kill Snape with his bare paws?

Will Sunny and Tonks ever manage to be in a room alone and stayed clothed?

All will be answered, I suppose.

As Voldemort is still on the prowl, I feel he'd want Harry where he can keep an eye on him. The main characters have been out of school for a year and are now 20ish. (In their first year out of school they will have been 19). Ron is playing Quidditch for the Chudley Cannons. And Hermione's working in the Department for the Health & Welfare of House-Elves (a department in the ministry which she invented and runs with the help of, yeah you guessed it, house-elves). So, we need:

If anyone has any suggestions please put them forward. Please let me know which subject your character wants, or whether you want one at all. The RPG will be centered at Hogwarts.

In case you're wondering, McGonagall's retired and Hagrid's on a honeymoon with Madame Maxime.

Sirius is awoken by Marcella's sudden movements on the other side of the bed. In a way he is grateful to her because he is having the same nightmare he has every night. He is relieving Snape killing Kristie, and Sirius lying tied on the floor unable to do anything to stop him. Sirius rolls over and sees Marcella awake with cold sweat dripping out of every pore of her body. He moves over close to her and takes her in his arms. He doesn't try to take advantage of her. Instead he holds her like he would hold a frightened child desperately trying to comfort her, but unsure how to make the painful memories go away. Sirius stays awake with her afraid to go back to sleep too knowing he would return to the Riddle House to witness Kristie's murder again and again.

She became suddenly aware of someone's arms slipping around her and stiffened; the dream was still so fresh that she, at first, paniced. Glancing over her shoulder, she relaxed, having seen it was only Sirius. Marcella turned in the bed to bed face him and buried her head in chest, her eyes still very much open.

Marcella buries her head deep in Sirius's chest and he pulls her tighter to him. "It's alright. It's only a dream. It can't hurt you anymore." Sirius wishes he believed what he had told her. Dreams can hurt and do. They force you to relive horrible parts of your life just like the Dementors do. Sirius is sure Snape and Voldemort ar laughing now. They've managed the destroy their enemies without using a spell.

"But they can. And they do." she whispered, looking up at him, her eyes bloodshot, dark circles forming beneath them. "They've done more damage than they'll ever know. Death would be a release from this hell." she murmured, her finger tips clinging at the collar around his neck.

She walked into the dingy building and took a seat at the bar. After a couple of drinks, she procurred a room for herself and went upstairs. She passed by several shady characters on the way and had to kick a drunk wizard away from her door so that she could get into the room. Kristi shut and locked the door, leaning against it as she took in the small, shabby, room. It would do. She waved her wand at the dusty bed, cleaning it up a bit, and then lay down, closing her eyes to at least attempt to sleep.

Sirius looks down at Marcella. He is angry with her comments. "Death is never a solution to anything. As long as we're alive we have a chance to make things better. I don't want to hear you talking like that. Kristie would tell you things aren't better for her now that she's dead. I'm sure if she had had a choice she would have wanted to live. Death is never the answer to our problems. The afterlife may be more enjoyable than what we have right now, but it's not the same thing as being alive. I've been there, and I fought like hell to get back to this life. No matter how bad things get living is much better than being dead." Sirius pulls Marcella closer to him again and kisses her on the forehead. He doesn't want this night to end.

She felt slightly affronted at his rant and pulled away slightly. "To you, maybe, but where I'm standing things look a lot different." After a moments hesistation, she looked up, "You know you shouldn't do that, right?" Despite what she'd said she scooted a little closer and buried herself back in him, absorbing his body heat.

"I know we shouldn't be doing what we're doing." Sirius wraps his arms tighter around Marcella. "But I'll fight the person who tries and stop us. I haven't felt this alive since we got back from the Riddle House. I don't expect you to feel the same way I do. I'm not really sure how I feel at this point. There seems to be nothing but emptyness inside of me right now. I need you right now just to be here with me. Let's leave the rest of the world outside of that door. I don't won't to have to deal with it right now." Sirius runs his fingers through Marcella hair. How long he has planned for this moment. To seduce Marcella right under Snape's nose, but at this moment all Sirius wants to do is hold her close and make her demons go away.

"You talk too much," she mumbled, sounding half-asleep. She felt drowsy but wouldn't allow herself to slip back into a state where she could dream again. In an attempt to keep herself awake, she drew patterns on his chest with her fingers, her other hand drawing swirls on the small of his back. Softly, she sang under her breath, a tune she could remember her mother used to sing to her before she died. "A gentle breeze from hushabye mountain. Softly blows o'er lullaby bay. It fills the sails of boats that are waiting. Waiting to sail your worries away."

Sirius is enjoying Marcella playing with him, and the song she is singing. "That's nice, where did you learn that song. Oh sorry talking too much again." He smuggles closer to her. He doesn't want this night to end. Sirius wishes he could spent the rest of his life right here in bed with Marcella.

"From my mother." she replied simply, slapping him playfully on the left cheek, breaking into a smile to prevent herself from crying. She didn't need to come across any weaker than she already did. "You're much nicer when you're quiet." she grinned, a mischievious look in her eyes.

Sirius grabs her hand and starts kissing it. "If that the way you feel, then I'll take a vow of silence and never say another word. So long as I can stay right here with you forever."

It was a sweet gesture but it felt so silly. She couldn't help but giggle as her face flushed. There was something about the whole situation that made her feel so young again, so innocent, so vulnerable to persuasion. "I can't pretend I couldn't get used to it but forever, I dunno, I'm not sure you could last that long."

Sirius smiles and then starts making funny gestures with his hands trying to imitate muggle sign language. Unable to control himself, he burst out laughing. "You know me better than I thought you did. Remus threatened one day to make my transfiguration into Sparky permanent. Said it was the only way he'd ever be able to get a word in. We were about fifeteen, and he was an outstanding student in Transfiguration. I took him at his word and stopped talking and didn't say a word for the rest of the day." Sirius rolle over, takes Marcella's head in his hands, and starts kissing her pasionately. He can't help himself. At that moment he wants her more than he has ever wanted any other woman.

She laughed. "Remus might've been onto something." she sniggered, bitting at her little finger in amusement. She was so relaxed that she found she didn't mind when Sirius rolled her over and kissed her. However, within a few sparce seconds the motion of him holding her down started to suffocate her and visions of what had happened began to appear before her eyes. In panic, she went to sit up and push him away, accidentally catching his bottom lip on her teeth as she did so, banging her head into his.

Sirius feels Marcella push him away. How could he have been such a fool to let his emotions get the better of him. He lets out a cry of pain when she accidently bits his bottom lip. Sirius sits up too and grabs his wand from the night table. He flicks it and turns the lights on. "Are you alright? I'm so sorry. I didn't.... I didn't mean for things to go that far. I didn't mean to hurt you... Please forgive me." Sirius is in a panic. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt Marcella.

"You didn't hurt me." she mumbled as he re-lit the candles. Getting up on her knees she approached him carefully, touching his bleeding lip. "It's just. I felt trapped. I'm sorry," she apologised, knowing she'd ruined things once again. Taking hold of her robe, she ripped a piece off the end and dabbed it at his bloody lip. "I'm such a clutz," she giggled.

Snape lay in bed, awake the entire night. He had become used to it over the weeks, being unable to sleep. But, tonight he was plagued with worse dreams than ever. When he first shut his eyes he dreamed of being haunted by Kristi's ghost. He had quickly awakened himself and after a drink, he went back to sleep to an even more disturbing dream of Black seducing Marcella. He decided lack of sleep was preferable to the dreams.

Sirius moves the hair from infornt of Marcella's face. "No, I'm a cad forcing myself you you like that. Neither of us is ready to go there. We've both got too much excess baggage right now. I said I was going to guard you tonight and guard you I will." Sirius gentle pulls Marcella back into the bed and puts his arms around her. "I'm not going to let anyone hurt you not even me."

"You didn't hurt me," she reitterated, fingering his broken lip. "You hurt yourself." she laughed. Respecting his wishes, she pulled the sheet back over them and kissed his bottom lip lightly before snuggling back down, pretending to sleep.

Tonks' face set. 'Yes well, Bella never was the easiest to please.' Attempting a smile, she stood up. 'Well, I guess I should get to bed. I'll see you tomorrow Harry.' Turning quickly she left the infirmary, making it to her rooms as fast as she could. A look out at the grounds found Hagrid's Hut in darkness. Tonks shook her head and climbed into bed, trying not to replay the messages over again.

Her night was restless, filled with odd dreams. When she woke, her eyes were puffy. Yawning, she dressed and made her way to the great hall, already bustling with students. Today would be interesting at least, trying to teach a class. She bit her lip and reached for the coffee.

She remained laid still for the whole night, pretending to be asleep, watching Sirius' chest rise and fall. Eventually, the sun peeked through the curtains and birds sang, announcing the arrival of morning. Trying her best not to disturb him, she shifted and got up, slipping into the bathroom quietly.

When she emerged she was dressed in long navy robes, her hair tied back with small bits hanging down at the side. Grabbing several books, quills, ink bottles and her wand, she loaded up her satchel and went to the door, only looking back to check on Sirius, who still appeared sound asleep.

Dumbledore had arranged for her to have a classroom, given the fact that Sunny was occupying the hut. She quickly dumped her belongings in the Office adjacent to it and left to stroll through the coridoors, with no intention of going to breakfast.

She passed several students on her way; some greeted her fairly nicely, others were either snide or provocative. After deducting several points from Slytherin, she ducked and descended the stairs into the dungeons, breathing quieter so as to not be heard.

Standing outside his office, she took a deep breath before trying the door. Locked. "Alohamora!" she tried. Useless. Checking to see if any students were around, she cast, "Incendio!" and watched a whole burn in the door. Climbing through, she muttered "Reparo!" pointing her wand behind her and headed to his store cupboard. Once in there, she ran a finger along the shelves, looking. Her concentration was so focused that she wasn't watching where she put her finger, which was promptly bitten by a rat. Cursing, she jumped back and knocked over a box of empty glass vials.

Snape finally gave up and went to shower and get ready for the day. He dressed in his usual black and stepped into his office to be sure everything was in order before heading up to breakfast. "Looking for something?" he sneered, withdrawing his wand when noticed Marcella. He pointed it at the broken vials beside her, "Reparo."

"Yes." she replied, shifting away from him slightly; the store cuboard wasn't really meant for more than one person to be in at any one time. "But you don't have it." she frowned, scanning the shelves one more time. "Lot of use you are." she snorted..
