Scenes from when Professor Bontecou was just a student (Ravenclaw).

Background info: Rey was a 5th year when the ghosts came to Hogwarts to help oversee the children in each of the houses and Rae was appointed DADA Professor. Lainey was appointed Ravenclaw House Ghost and History of Magic Professor in his 6th year.

Other points of interest:

Sophie Brooks (CoMC) was sorted in Gryffindor Rey's 5th year.
Dainsie (Gryff HoH) was a 4th year when Rey started at Hogwarts and she became Divination professor the term after Rey graduated.
Dumont was a 6th year Slytherin when Rey started.
Calista Hawkins (Charms), Gryffindor, and Rey were in the same year.
Angela Kohan (Librarian), Gryffindor, was a 5th year when Rey started.
Masterson (Groundskeeper) was a 5th year when Rey was also sorted into Ravenclaw.
Caleum Myers was sorted into Gryffindor in Rey's 6th year.
Alessia Lupa was a 3rd year when Rey started.

Touz and I want to do some Lainey/Pepe scenes since she was his house ghost but, it might be nice to also get a scene in with Masterson since they were both in the same house and I'm pretty sure he'd have known about the new Claw who was always getting lost. It might also be fun to get some scenes with Hawkins since they were the same year and would have inevitably had at least some classes together. Maybe they were potions partners or something.

Professor Lainey, or so they liked to call her, was roaming an upstairs corridor and feeling sorry for herself. It was typically what she did when she had the time to do it. She tried so hard to disappear.. if she could just disappear and die properly. Lainey didn't do anything properly, including dieing. "GRRRRRR," she growled after another failed attempt to disappear.

Rey was digging through his bag trying to find his map. He'd had it during first period but, it seemed to have disappeared. There was a little hole in the bottom of his bag but, the map shouldn't have been able to fit through it. He sighed and continued rummaging while he walked, paying no attention to where he was going because he had no idea where that way anyway.

And on that note.... LOL Here's a scene that I hope to actually finish. It's some set up for something that will be occuring later in the term, but we don't want to post the details in the RPG just yet.

Headmaster Bontecou was shuffling through parchment on his desk, doing the most boring of headmasterly duties: paperwork.

Alessia was feeling better and headed for the school, she sat on the bottom of the shoot and with the aid of magic she made herself rise up to Fifth floor, and then descended the staircases to the second floor. She halted in front of the gargoyle and fixed her hair looking at her reflection in the neary suit of armor. She fixed her lipstick and then spoke the password. As the gargoyle moved out of her path she smiled and knocked on the headmaster's office door.

He eagerly set aside his papers and jumped up. "Come in!" he said, wondering if he sounded maybe a bit too eager for company...

She nudged the door open a bit and stuck a well manicured hand through the opening first and then stuck a stalkinged calf with pretty little black shoe at the end of it. "Guess whooo?"

Pepe laughed and then sat back down again. "Not my grandmother," he answered. "Come on in, Less. I'm just catching up on some of that paperwork stuff."

Alessia opened up the door and let herself in... "I should really change my nail polish..." she said as she sat on his desk. "Don't do paperwork stuff... talk to me..." She said smiling. "I went to Hogsmeade... and I ran into Marcus Lawson. He's fascinating you know... Lead Guitarrist for the cameleons or something..." she said.

"I didn't realize Marcus played the guitar," he said, leaning forward on his elbows and probably smearing the ink on whatever he'd been working on. He assumed this was going somewhere.

"Yup... though he seemed weird about it..." She said looking back at him. "He asked me if I would be willing to speak to the students in his class... about... my condition." She said and looked down.

He nodded and carefully proceeded through this delicate topic of conversation. "That makes sense. Not many students have the opportunity to meet an actual werewolf, you know. I think it would be good for them to head about your experience firsthand. And of course you've already proven that werewolves are just normal people the vast majority of the time," he said.

"What about the way the students see me? Are you not afraid that I may not have as much Authority if they know I am a... beast?" She said looking at him now.

"You aren't a beast. You're a witch infected with an incurable disease which can be kept under control by the wolfsbane potion. And I think the students would do well to see that though you may take the form of a powerful and dangerous magical creature on the night of the full moon, you are still the same professor they have come to love, and they have nothing to fear from you in your human form, which is your form 90% of the time," he explained. "But, please don't feel pressured to do this. I wouldn't want you doing it unless it was something you wanted to do."

"See? I think he'd want me just to talk to them... you think it's alright for them to see me as a wolf?" She hopped off his desk and made her way around it so she could sit on the desk and still be facing him. "If you think it will help with acceptance of creatures such as myself... I'd do it... But I'd want Papa Valon there with me... and you... I want you there. Beside me.

"Well, you have to admit that it's really rare to be able to actually see a rel werewolf," he said, trying to hide his excitement. He would have been beside himself as a student to be able to see one in the flesh. "And of course I'd be there. I think I'd have to be, even if it wasn't a place I'd want to be. I'm sure Kazimeriz would feel the same."

"Is this... a dark detector aurors use? Like an evil seeker or something?" She asked showing it to him excitedly. "Anyway... full moon is scheduled in a couple of days... There is a room behind the hut we can use... I'll have taken my Wolfsbane... so shackles won't be needed." She smirked at him again.

He laughed, both at her assumption about his ball and at her comment about the shackles. "Okay, what time should I meet you down there?" he asked, opening a drawer and taking out an actual sneakoscope for her to see. He placed it on his desk. "That's a dark magic detector. What you've got is a cricket ball."

"Oooo" she said dropping the ball unceremoniously on the floor and grabbing the sneakerscope... "See now that's wicked!" she said looking at it. "Does it say that I'm evil? You know..." she pretended to show her claws all Grrrr like and then said "Dangerous Dark Creature and all... I'm XXX... no wait I think I'm XXXXX? I'd have to ask Marcus..."

"Five Xs, at least some of the time," he laughed. "And no, it doesn't detect anything right now. It's a sneakoscope so it only detects untrustworthiness, anyway. So, how do you feel about this thing with the students?"

"Let me try in front of you first... then... if it goes well... and obviously I drink my potion... yes." She smiled. "But I want them to understand acceptance and to understand that it isn't something to idolize... it's a curse... though one I didn't intend on myself."
