A pool party! This was so cool of their head of house. He was the coolest even if he was a bit weird. Benton would never say he was weird though. The first thing he thought was he was bringing Tory as his plus one. Cassie was a puff to so she was coming regardless so he could have his cousin, his best friend, and his girlfriend at the same party. HOW FUN WAS THAT? Tory didn't want to go. After sulking about this for a bit he got excited grabbed his trunks and headed to the party.

Since he was meeting Henry and Cassie there he got there nice and early. Thanks mom for dropping him off. What cool parents he had, they adopted his cousin and now letting him come to the party.


Once there he waved to the Professor and turned to see his cousin. "Ross, what's up" He was Djing today, that was cool. Everyone could see his quidditch famous cousin now Djing. He better be good and not embarrass the fourteen year old.

Miranda was looking forward to the party ever since she had heard about it. She was hoping to see some of her friends. It hadn't been the spectacular end to the school term she had hoped for but the fact that she did as well as she had on her exams was really saying something.

No today was all about fun.. And fun she intended to have. She was dressed for just that purpose. she knew there would be a waterslide so her bathing suit was under her black quick dry shorts and tank with " MAGIC!" scrolled across the front and her hair French braid in a fishbone braid And her ever present low cut Chuck Taylors. Yup... Fun and sun!

She saw all the refreshments set up to the side.. Not bad.. She'd paruse the table later.. For now she scanned to see who all was there already..

Clarissa was here. She mostly kept to herself but decided it might be fun to get out of the house and do something outside of her sisters. She was the only Hufflepuff, so as far as she knew she was the only Valla here.

She pulled her hair back into a ponytail and looked up at the slide. That... was... tall.

She stood there... completely transfixed. Whelp. Was that thing even safe?

The party crasher was there. Just kidding. Olly was not crashing the party. Though it was a Hufflepuff only party and he was not technically a Hufflepuff, he did have connections with the Hufflepuffs. Specifically his boyfriend was a Hufflepuff so Olly got to be Remy's plus one. He was very excited for this party and was glad for the plus one rule because he wanted to go! If he hadn't had Remy he would have found someone else to take him. There was no way he was missing his chance to go to a sweet pool party with his favorite professor. He was going to see Professor Myers' house! He was going to meet his husband!

Olly's was trying not to physically bounce with excitement. He was fifteen and needed to be more mature than that. But he really was very excited. He and Remy had arrived together, of course, and Olly pulled his boyfriend along with him as he headed toward the food. That was the obvious first stop, right? Olly eyed the selection. The pizza looked delicious. And that cake. Olly was about to turn to ask Remy if he wanted to eat or slide first when he spotted Professor Myers himself. Olly grinned at him and waved excitedly.

"Hi Professor! What a cool party!"

Bradson had almost forgotten about the puffer pool party. How does one forget about a super awesome pool party like this? Apparently he almost did. He had wondered if this party was just for the Hufflepuffs. Who knows. He would soon find out. The thirteen year old walked into the event and looked around. He didn't know if his best friend was going to be here or not.

The almost fourth year had his black swimming trunks on and a light grey tank top with a pair of black water shoes. Bradson took his sunglasses of his pocket. As he put on his glasses he had managed to bump into someone. The Scottish teenager looked up to see who he had bumped into. He stood there and blinked. "I'm...I'm sorry Miranda." He apologized as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Fun times.

You know what was even better than a Hufflepuff pool party? A Hufflepuff herbology/gardening party! Having an older Hufflepuff cousin who could also come to the party! Penny had come home for summer, and as mum was busy with her new job at the ministry and tending to the plants and animals and dad needed to run his bookshop, Penny was the one who had brought Isa and Abigail here today.

Isa was bubbling with excitement when she arrived. It was so amazing that Professor Myers was hosting a party for all the Hufflepuffs! Wow. Look at how tall that slide was. The slide seemed absolutely terrifying, but it also looked like it would be super fun to slide on with her friends. One of the first things that Isa did was examine the contents of the food table. It looked like there were plenty of vegetarian options that she would be able to eat. Salad and cheese pizza was looking good. She was glad that Professor Myers had thought to include plenty of vegetarian options. There had been times before where Isa had been to events that didn't offer any vegetarian options, so she hadn't been able to eat anything. Grabbing a drink, Isa selected a bright yellow umbrella to put in it. These drink umbrellas were so cute! Oh, there was Professor Myers! "Hello Professor Myers! Thanks for hosting this party! The slide looks amazing! Working on any crossbreed plants lately?" Mum had a new job doing experimental plant breeding at the ministry, and some of those plants were really cool. Isa had been working on some plant crossbreeding projects of her own with her mum's supervision. "Is there a bathroom?" Like, seriously, important question. This was the sort of thing that Isa worried about. It seemed like a somewhat awkward question, but she needed to know. Isa poked the little yellow umbrella around in her drink. Um, maybe she would go find her friends now.

This summer was turning out to be amazing, and Esme was sure that the good vibes would continue all the way up to September. She didn't REALLY want to think about school right now, which was going to be a little hard since she was going to a party held at her Head of House's place. She would try her best, however.

Oliver said that he would go with her, and that make her extra excited because she LOVED spending time with him.

Beaming, she looked around and was happy to see a few familiar faces. "Hey!" she said to both Miranda and Brady. Even though they were broken up and it was something she wasn't keen on as Brady's friend, Esme did want to be friendly. Despite what had happened, she still liked Miranda. Besides, it wasn't any of her business. Fingers crossed they would work things out so that they could at least be friends.

ANYWAY.

There was Professor Myers. Time to walk over and say hi! "Hello, Professor. Awesome party." Seriously he was the best Head of House ever. Now all she needed was for Oliver to arrive and things would be perfect.

Miranda was having a look around at everything that was offered at the party.. She had to admit she was pretty impressed at how awesome this whole party was. Her professor had a flare for party throwing she could see...

she was just about to go to the waterslide when someone bumped into her. Slowly she turned around and came face to face with Brady... A small smile played on her lips as she looked up into his expressive eyes..." Oh... Hi, Brady.... "It had been a while since the two had seen or spoken and that fact was nearly unbearable to her.

Sure... She was the one that broke up with him and yes.. She had been overly moody and just downright not herself. But now that she had had time to work through things and the fact that she aced all of her exams helped tremendously.


" How's your summer holidays been going so far?", she asked. She wanted to just talk to him and hopefully he'd see just how sorry she was for everything and then maybe he'd see that she still loved and cared for him more than any 13 year old girl should feel for a boy, but her heart knew what it wanted and it wanted her ex boyfriend.

Ross was all set up at his DJ Booth. He brought his turn table, his laptop with all his dance party music, and some oldies as well. The Montrose Magpie's Chaser turned DJ Prime at Night was now doing Kid Parties, but hey that Professor was paying him a a lot of knuts for this. How else is he gonna keep his Girlfriend Happy?

He wore one of his Team's T-Shirts for the event.

Looked like everyone was starting in now too so he might as well get the music started. clicking a few buttons here and there and swift left click on his mouse DJ Prime went into action and started the music up.

Then he heard a familiar voice. "Hey, Benton." Ross replied with a smile as he remembered that his younger cousin was in Hufflepuff. "Is Tory here with you?" Maybe there was bit of concern in that question. usually with Torrance attached to Benton's hip or was it the other way around? the two younger cousins ended up getting up to no good. Usually on Tory's behalf.

Cassie had been super excited about this Hufflepuff pool party since she had gotten the owl. The almost thirteen year old loved the water, sunshine and being with her friends almost as much as she loved gymnastics and cupcakes! Would there be cupcakes? She hoped so.

Having been dropped off by her mom, Cass pushed her bag containing her towel and such inside up higher on her shoulder. Underneath her navy blue and white tank top and denim shorts was her colorful swimsuit and she couldn't wait to hit the water slides! Blue eyes quickly scanned over everyone landing quickly on the man that had put this all together for them. "Professor Myers, hello!" she greeted waving at him with a bright smile. Now just to fin-

Oh! There he was. Talking to some older guy who she didn't know but was clearly very much the parties DJ. The little blonde headed over stopping at Benton's side giving him a light nudge as she did. "Hey Ben," she greeted softly sending the DJ guy a polite smile as well.


There was two main reasons Rian-Kate was here. One being the very obvious reason that nearly all her friends were doing to be here and the other being that her plus one had agreed to come along. Every and any chance to meet with friends and have an amazing time was never passed up by her.

Making her way towards everyone after being dropped off she quietly checked out what all was set up. Myers definitely went all out as always hadn't he? She smiled softly looking around for the Professor sending him a wave when she spotted him. A few others she certainly knew were taken notice of but Ri didn't exactly pause in her search just then. It was clear she was looking for someone though they hadn't appeared to be here as of yet.

Running a hand through her long reddish hair she had to admit to herself that her choice of black clothing didn't quite go with all the bright colors around her. Oops. Oh, well at least the flower crown on her head added a small splash of color and nope it wouldn't fall apart either as it had been charmed not to. Now where were her people? Any of them would work right now.

Smiling bright as Ross finally noticed him, "Nah, he didn't want to come. I told him he could be my plus one, but oh well." Tory was being a bump on the log with coming so Benton just figured he'd have fun without him. 'Did you know my dad adopted him? He's my brother now not just my cousin." That was super cool and he hoped the rest of the family was aware and okay with it. Though he knew Tory would never let Uncle Julien adopt him so sorry Ross no brother for you. "How's Juni and Keely? The.. umm... twins?" He didn't know their names and wasn't sure if he should even ask.

His eyes turned when he heard her voice. A big smile on his face, "Hey Cassie. You look pretty." It was good to say your girlfriend was pretty from what he had noticed so he tried to say it often. "Ross this is my girlfriend Cassie. Cassie this is my cousin I told you about. The one that plays quidditch." Yes that was right Benton was related to Ross and he was a pro quidditch player.

See that everyone that called him lame, he wasn't.

Seeing another familiar face he smiled and waved. "Hey Rian" Giving one of his friends a look. Why was she in black? "Have you seen Remy or Henry yet?" Seeing Mrianda he gave her a wave to.

Really Benton just waved at everyone that looked his way.

Oliver was so excited for this pool party with Esme and the hufflepuffs. Even though he didn't actually know very many of them,mall of the badgers he'd ever met were extremely nice, so he just knew this party was going to be loads of fun. AND he just really liked Professor Myers because he seemed like a really cool guy, even if he was kind of weird.

Walking into the party, Ollie couldn't help but smile. The place looked amazing and that slide was absolutely incredible. He couldn't wait to race down it with Esme. Speaking of which, he looked around the place for her and finally found her speaking with Professor Myers. Perfect! Now he could thank the professor for letting Esme bring him along.

He made his way over to the two of them and waved. "Hi Esme, hi professor!" He casually pulled Esme into a hug, beaming now. "This place looks incredible! I wish I could spend everyday at a place like this." How amazing would that be? Maybe Professor Myers could suggest Hogwarts be changed to be more like this. Now that would be an amazing last year at the school.

Remy couldn’t believe that not only did he get to spend the day with his boyfriend at a pool party; but he got to spend it with all of his best friends who were Puff’s and their closest friends. Totally. Cool. Add in the fact that there was music, a GREAT day ha, take that Welsh weather! and his Head of House and his… boyfriend? Partner? Husband? Remy didn’t really know what term they used - he just knew the man was happy.


Looking over at the blonde Slytherin walking next to him, he couldn’t help the smile that ended up on his lips. He could tell the older boy was excited, although he was trying to hide it. Slipping his hand around Olly’s he followed behind him, letting him lead the way through the party towards…. OH. Food. Yes… He knew he liked the Slytherin for various very good reasons; and his love of food was definitely one of them.


MMMMMMMMM. Could Olly smell that? Did he smell that pizza? And the cake. Man… he’d have to train harder and longer tomorrow for this food; but seeing the look on Olly’s face, and his friends hanging around various parts of the property, made him quickly decide that it was worth. A day with all of his friends was definitely worth it.


Turning on his heel to look behind him as Olly spoke up, he gave the Professor a smile. ”Hi Professor Myers… Amazing place.” He nodded with a smile as Olly complimented the party. ”Definitely a cool party.” He said, pulling at his tank top that was getting too hot in the sun; even with it being sleeveless. Maybe he could drag Olly swimming and to that slide after food… Yes, that was a good idea. As they spoke to the Professor, he picked up a piece of pizza without looking to see the flavour, and took a bite with a smile.

POOL PARTY!!!

Yasss. Kat was super super excited, about this. Pool party with all of her Hufflepuff friends, their plus ones. She had asked Cornelius to come so hopefully he would show up soon or sometime. She just kind of mentioned it to him nothing official or anything yet.

The first thing Kat seen as she approached was the HUGE slide. WOW that looked like so much fun. It didn't have height limit did it? The fourth year was short very very short. "Hello Professor Myers. Thank you for having this pool party of us."

Heading in she seen, Brady she was just about to run and tackle him but he was with Miranda. She watched them for a minute before. " HELLO Brady and Miranda." She might have shouted their names too. They were talking so she was just going to go for now.

Oh there was Benny, Tory and Cassie. She skipped over to them. "Hey guys. Doesn't that slide look fun?' She was ready to go down it. If someone wanted to go down with her. It still looked scary but fun.

OOH. Lilah had totally been getting ready in her bedroom and not twirling around and getting annoyed at Liberty for watching her. It wasn't completely embarrassing that she was excited for this, was it? It wasn't completely embarrassing that she had brought Professor Myers some flowers and chocolate because that is what she had READ one must do when they were invited to some ones home?

Maybe only slightly embarrassing. But the twelve year old was still learning. She'd even snuck into Saffron's bedroom and borrowed her lovely waterproof mascara in an effort to look more grown up, and now she was hoping against hope that the older Stemp Hufflepuff wouldn't turn up and they could therefore save the argument for later.

Hello, people. Hi. Hi. OH, they couldn't possibly be eating such an adorable cake, could they?!

Guests were arriving! Lovely! Paul sipped his drink and bopped towards Benton. "Hello m'boy! Enjoying your summer?" he asked cheerfully. He was aware that Benton was related to the DJ, though Paul wasn't familiar with DJ Prime like he was with Benton. Benton was in his house! "Are you going to brave the water slide?" Paul would be up there shortly!

"Hello, Miranda, dear, how are you?" he asked with a smile. He saw her eyeing the food and gestured. "You can eat as much as you like, sweetie!" He had more stashed in his house >.> Shhhh.

There were a few more coming inside, and he turned to his partner to see how the grumpy gills was holding up. "Milton! Need another drink?" He waved at Clarissa and smiled. "You should give it a try, m'dear!" She looked....a little wary of the slide.


Milton raised an unamused eyebrow at the husband...partner...whatever the hell they were calling each other these days. "I'm...fine, Paul, I promise," he said, and he went back to sipping his drink, perched on a beach chair facing the slide. Any children thinking of FALLING OFF or doing something equally as dangerous? Not while Milton was supervising, demons. The black-haired ex-Slytherin was NO NONSENSE TODAY, KIDS.

Not that he ever accepted nonsense. But he was even MORE against nonsense today because Paul had invited those things to his home. Their home. Their VINEYARD VILLA.

Ahhh! Oliver and Remy had arrived! Paul beamed over at them and grabbed Milton's hand and puuuuuullled him up. "Come on, come meet Oliver and Remy, two of my students," he winked and dragged Milly over to see them.

"Thank you, thank you!" he told the couple. "I try. If Milton had planned it, it would have been BETTER. He's much better at coordinating...well, anything." He chuckled. "Remy, Oliver, this is Milton. My ever-lovely husband," he and Milton were not overly affectionate in public, and they would keep it that way. "They're together, yes," he answered the question before Milton could voice it. You can't just ask people if they're together, honey! It made him roll his eyes. Merlin, Milton had no tact.

In the corner of his eye, he could see that Brady had arrived! "Hello, welcome welcome, Brady!" he cried out so the boy could hear him. He remembered when Brady had just been a first year ;__; WHY DID STUDENTS GROW?


HIS. EAR. PAUL. Milton nudged Paul's side. "Don't yell in my ear, m'kay?" he said, and he turned his attention back to Oliver and Remy. 'I have to tell him that...no lie, about 15 times a day?" Paul was just so excitable. "But it's nice to meet you both. Paul speaks about all of his students......a lot, so I'm afraid I don't remember details, but yeah," he shrugged and sipped his drink. "Have you guys eaten? There's food over there," he nodded towards the food table.

What else was he supposed to say? What did Paul WANT him to say? He would smile but eh. He merely...nodded at them respectfully. "What...years are you in? And house?" House was important. Merlin, was it important. He supposed one of them had to be a badger. "If I had to guess...." a smirk curled across his face. "You're a snake," he nodded at Oliver.


Oh ho ho! Excited little second year over here! Paul excused himself from Milton and the couple as he turned to smile cheerfully at little Isa. And Abigail! "Hello girls! It's so nice to see you both! Are you both going to go on the slide? Gonna' give it a shot?" He was REALLLLLYYY and truly about to go on it. Like. Yes.

Aww, he was so glad to see Esme! He waved at her. "Where is Juno, m'dear?" he asked curiously. It was odd to see one without the other...neither of his prefects had arrived yet. Hmm. He wouldn't be surprised if Brian didn't come...the boy was always busy, and he didn't blame him. The boy had aspirations! "And Oliver!" he beamed. "Are you two.......??" They got wiggly eyebrows from the man. UH HUH?

What had he been thinking earlier about MILTON asking people if they were a couple? HMMM? Was he ignoring his OWN CRITICISM? Yes.

More people arriving. GOOD GOOD. Paul grabbed a small piece of pizza (very small and square) and nibbled at it as he tried to make his rounds about the party. He was antsy to GO ON HIS EPIC SLIDE but he would be polite first.

"HEY CASSIE!" he greeted the girl cheerfully. "Eat up!" he said as he waved his pizza around before gobbling up the last of it. "I have so much food! Eat eat!" he said, and he patted her back as he moved on to talk to Rian. "Hello, dear! Welcome welcome! Enjoying your summer?"

STUDENTS EVERYWHERE. YES. OKAY. This was happening.

The DJ was doing well over there, too. Paul approached Prime with a thumbs up. "You're doing great!" he said over the music. "Great job!" He'd probably be tipping the boy a good deal.

BUT IT WAS WATER SLIDE TIME. Paul bounced over to Milton, handed him his drink, and, without a word, ran for the slide. He started up the stairs, out of breath shortly, but he was DOING IT.

Once he got to the top, he stood up, waving his arms around so everyone could see him. Muggles said a funny word before doing things like this! Paul would give the word a shot! "KOWA....BUNGY!" and he slide down the slide. He would tell Katerina and Lilah hello once he was done!


Milton watched his husband and rubbed his face, snorting. "He is...ridiculous. I'm sorry he's your professor," he told Oliver and Remy. But he was grinning. Milton Willingston would NOT be going on that slide.

Greetings from Professor Myers always made Cassie giggle. The man was so cheerful just like herself and she loved it so much! Hopefully he had no plans on leaving Hogwarts anytime soon because she liked him very much as her professor and Head of House. "I have plans on eating lots!," she called back smiling brightly. No worries there, where there was food she would be eating.

A small blush crept onto her cheeks at the compliment. "Thanks Benny," she smiled up at him, her fingers lightly brushing against his to clasp onto his hand. Oh! Blue eyes shifted back towards Ross. So he was the Quidditch player she had been told so much about. "I remember." she nodded her head.

Cass beamed at Kat when she joined them. "It looks amazing! We should all go down it together soon?" Unless she was ready to go down it now in which case they could meet her on the water in a few minutes after Benton finished speaking with his cousin.


Rian smiled warmly at Paul. "My summer is going great so far. How's yours going professor?" Good as well she would like to think. "This party is amazing by the way!" Really it was. A professor inviting all those kids to his home in the middle of the summer was insane but he always pulled it off so well!

Her search for her plus one was cut short by a voice from a fellow Hufflepuff that she knew well. "Hey Benton! Enjoying your summer so far?" she asked glancing his way. Had she seen Remy or Henry? Uh... She turned her attention onto all the people really quickly scanning the fast growing crowd. "I don't see Henry yet but... there's Rem over by the food with Olly." Which meant she needed to go say hi. It's what besties did. A hello was in store for Randa too when she wasn't busy speaking with Brady...no way was she getting in the middle of that.

"Rem!" Rian called out heading his way then. Normally she'd run at him and all that good jazz but not today or well not right this minute since he was eating. Olly got a bright smile from her as well and a wave as she drew closer to the two boys.

So a pool party water slide thing.

Anthony was not thrilled to be going to be honest. From what Ri had told him, it was a hufflepuff party... or as he liked to call them, the yellow team. He knew most of the yellow team were super nice people with big hearts.

Blegh.

Anthony didn't tend to fit in with that crowd. But he had promised to be Ri's plus one. So here he was.
Running a hand through his hair, he looked around at the party as he stepped onto the grounds. A huge water slide stood tall... and was that a DJ? That got an eyebrow raise. Who knew. Anthony stuffed his hands into his bathing suit trunk pockets and ventured further into where everything was happening.

He didn't see Ri's fiery red hair yet, but he was taking his time so that he could accustom his self to the atmosphere. It wasn't what he was used to. But he was trying.

Anthony's eyes fell on The old white haired guy, he knew as some professor and then another old guy with a grouchy looking face and slick black hair. His mouth formed a smirk as he watched them a moment. Heh. He could related with Grouchy Face.

Anthony headed over to the lovely couple, he nodded his head at them. "I'm looking for someone. Think you two could help me?" His eyes passed at the other two boys who were there Olly and Remy. He knew Olly. His mouth moved into a half smirk as his eyes met Olly's.

It was no surprise that Professor Myers was asking about her sister; Esme would have been surprised if he HADN'T. Kind of came with being attached at the hip most of the time. "She should be coming soon. She just got held up a bit." Probably having difficulty finding something to wear. Juno's closet was a real mess most of the time. At any rate, she had been told to go right ahead and meet Oliver there.

Speaking of Oliver, he had arrived!

"Hey," she said happily as she hugged him back. "Maybe we can have one put in the Room of Requirement next term so that we can use it!" That was if the new Headmaster/Headmistress allowed it to happen. Esme really hoped that whoever came in was nice.

WHAT WAS PROFESSOR MYERS DOING???

Esme felt herself go completely red. A paranoid thought came to mind: did he know that she liked Oliver??? "We are just friends." Deep breaths, Esme. There was no way that he could know.

ZARA WAS HERE. Finally. Waving her dad off, she squared her shoulders and walked around, looking for the source of the noise. Getting here had been much more complicated than she'd thought, but she'd persuaded her dad that they could totally take a vacation in Italy for like a week and it could just randomly happen on the day of the puffer party so WHY NOT?

There had been a lot of beaming, a little sobbing and one sad, underhanded comment about missing summer with her friends in America before the airline tickets were booked. Promising herself to feel mighty guilty about it later, Zara Jones was HERE AND READY. ... Except that she didn't actually know very many people, mid-year transfer and all.

That SLIDE. Slinging her beach bag more deftly on her shoulder she hurried forward to examine said slide and more importantly, the FOOD. THERE WAS PIZZA. And- was that- THAT WAS PROFESSOR MYERS. ON TOP OF THE- Zara gasped out loud as her Herbology professor - not the most serious teacher but still very much her TEACHER - cowabunga'ed down this ginormous slide.

She briefly wondered where a man like Professor Myers might have even heard cowabunga before she spotted Remy and all thoughts of the ninja turtles left her head. "REMY!" she squealed in simultaneous excitement and relief, making her way towards one of her only friends and the man he was standing next to. But that was the point of today! To make more friends! That, and eat, and show off her fabulous bikini body, and figure out who this other adult person was, AND see Henry, the one other friend she has. She hoped he'd show, she was dying to ask him about Quidditch. OH, and of course, say hi to the best head of house in the world. Because P O O L P A R T Y I N I T A L Y.

Coolest. Professor. Ever.

The thirteen year old hated the fact that he hadn't talked to Miranda in a couple months but he didn't know if he should. The way she acted back in May really scared him to death. "H-hi." oh, wait, he had already said that. Brady shook his head slightly and blushed a light pink color. "How are you? Are you okay?" What he really wanted to say was that he missed her so much but he knew that, that probably wasn't the best idea in the world. Just when Bradson was about to say soemthing else to Miranda he had hear his best friend, Kat yell out his name. "Hey." He turned his head and looked at her and gave her a smile and a wave. He knew that Kat would be speaking him later in the day about this.

Brady shrugged. "Alright." he hadn't been playing any of his instruments since the two of the broke up. He had lost his muse. "How's your holiday going?" He asked with a frowning knowing that he was the reason for her having to be grounded but he was really just trying to help her out so she wouldn't get in anymore trouble with her parents.

Henry wasn't completely sure if he was going to make it to the Hufflepuff Pool Party as he had a game on this particular Saturday and sometimes Quidditch games went long. You never really knew how long it was going to last. But as it were, his game ended early and he made the last minute decision to head over to the party afterwards, even if he was probably a tad late.

The last minute decision was part of why he did not elect to include a plus one, and he really hoped that this didn't turn out to be a couples thing. Nope, he was just here to have fun with his friends and what better way than to spend the day with a big group of Hufflepuffs. Maybe add in a giant water slide?

And the first thing he saw when he when he arrived was his Head of House flying down the water slide. Coolest professor ever! "That was awesome, Professor Paul!" he grinned and waved at the guy once he resurfaced from the water. He was totally going to do that next, but first he needed to find his friends.

Oh, there was a bunch of them. Henry headed over to say hello to Benton, Cassie, Brady, Miranda, and Kat, his grin reflecting his cheerful mood. "Hey guys, how's it going? Anyone try the slide yet?" He wasn't sure how long they'd been here being a little late himself, but he wasn't sure if he should try some food or the slide first. He was awfully hungry after his game.

Spotting a couple of his other friends out of the corner of his eye, he took a step in their direction. "Hey, Remy.. Olly.." he offered them a wave as well as one for Rian too. "Having fun?" It didn't surprise him much that Oliver would be Rem's plus one. Oh, and Zara was there too. He hadn't known she was coming too. "Hi, Zara.. you wanna race?" He gestured to the really tall water slide with a grin. Actually, with six lanes, he could race with a bunch of them. So much fun!

Miranda started seeing so many of her friends from school.. It was great of their professor to have puyt on such a great party for them all and their respective guests..She saw Benton giving her a wave as she poke with Brady and returned the smile along with a little wave of her own.. She'd be sure to go and say hello in a little bit.. Right now her focus was on talking to him and trying to make up for what had happened between them.. When everything blew up in her face and she felt forced to break both of their hearts... Time, it would seem, did nothing to mend the hole she had felt in her heart since she had broken things of with him.If anything her feelings had only grown stronger in his absence.*she smiled at his nervousness and knew then that he still cared for her.. At least a little bit anyway..." I'm doing alot better than I was a few months ago.."


As she spoke she saw Rian, and Henry andKat and Cassie all start showing up... There was Rian waiting for Anthony she was certain... Those two had become somewhat of an unofficial couple it would appear.. She was happy for her best friend too.. She'd never sen her as happy as when she and Ant were together.. She waved hoping she had seen her but wasnt about to leave Brady behind. then she saw Remy walk into the yard and waved to him as well...

Wow.. this was starting to really turn into a party! She turned her attention back fully to her ex; hopefully soon to be boyfriend again if they were able to repair the damage she had wrought. " I've been spending alot of time with my little brother and sister mostly... It's been fun... How have you been... Having a good holiday I hope"..

Oliver was just about to reply to Esme when he realized what exactly Professor Myers had said. He immediately wanted to laugh because he could see why anyone would think that, especially with the hug and everything. Instead of laughing however, he just smiled and shook his head. "We're just really great friends. Best friends." He almost added 'maybe under different circumstances' but decided it wasn't necessary for Esme or Professor Myers to know about any of that.

But no more talking about that, back to the pool party! "Professor, will you race down the slides with us later??" Ollie knew he still had other guests to greet but his mum taught him manners and that meant beating the professor down the water slides!
