Cody scratched his head, she looked upset. But he had to do this. "Well, about us basically." Glancing around, he noticed Aiden looking over, and Cody certainly hoped no one else was watching. "Listen, do you wanna go somewhere more private?" Hey, he was trying to be tactful about this.

And then her arms were around Cody's neck, and he reached up to move them back down to her side's, taking a step back. He wasn't sure what to say. He wanted to give her the choice of it being in private.

Nekoda bit her lip, toying with the ring on her thumb, a present from Sav from like her 12th half birthday. "Orlando, I'm sorry. You probably hate me right now, and I don't blame you." She took a deep breath, averting her eyes to her hands. "You tried to help me, and I just ended up threatening you. I'm sorry." Okay, so she also wanted to apologizing for being such a brat earlier. But that would involve telling him she was jealous.

Savvy let out a loud sigh,"I already know what you are going to do..."she muttered,feeling him push his arms off of her. she looked back at Aiden and then felt her eyes starting to water up. Why was she crying ? She didn't even like Cody at all.

Orlando shrugged his shoulders,"It's fine..."he said, looking over at cody and Sav. She was crying, Cody could only guess one thing."I don't see why she is so upset ? She doesn't even like Cody...?""he asked, head tilted to the side.

Dammit. She was crying? Why was she crying? Had he been wrong? Cody been sure of Savannah only using him. Oh merlin. He wanted to reach out and help her, but that could give the wrong idea. So he stayed arm distance away. Painstaken expression on his face. "Sav...I'm sorry. I told you from the beginning. I still love Delanie. And well...we talked, and she's ready to try long distance. And so am I. I'm sorry. I wish I didn't have to do this."

He was a terrible person. He'd made someone cry, pretty much intentionally too. Sigh.

Nekoda smiled, wrapping both her arms around one of his. "What did I do to deserve such amazing friends?" i.e. Savannah and Orlando of course. Well, and Georgie. But that was different. Looking towards Sav and Cody, Nekoda's face hardened. Did he seriously just make her best friend cry? Oooooh, if he thought christmas was bad before! Looking at Savannah, Nekoda's face turned sympathetic.

"It's different. Sure she doesn't like him like that. But Cody was the only thing that she felt would get a reaction out of Aiden. Without him, well, what now?" Poor Sav.

Aiden smiled. Seemed like Caitlyn was excited for the change of school; then again, who wouldn't be? It was Hogwarts! "Yep, they have Dueling Club and a couple clubs that pertain to the classes." He glanced at Scott and then to Caitlyn again. "You've probably heard about the sorting and all, but that'll happen at the start-of-term feast. This past year was my first year at Hogwarts, as a matter of fact."

"But...but ..but..."she cried. She was still unsure why she was upset. Perhaps it was the fact that she had never been dumped before, well...by Aiden and Cody but that didn't matter."It's MY birthday."She cried, looking up at him, she looked at everyone else. They were busy in conversations well...besides Nekoda and Orlando.

Growl. She was in a really really really bad mood right now.

"CAN EVERYONE SHUT UP ?!?!"She yelled, stopping all conversations. She bit her lip, looking at Cody."The whole purpose of this party is to make ME happy and i am NOT happy."

Orlando chuckled as he heard Nekoda spoke. He was still totally confused about her.She just kept changing her mindevery five seconds it seemed. His eyes grew as SAvannah yelled, that girl was scary when she yelled.

Cody was taken aback at her outburst. Was he aware of it being her birthday? Of course! But he couldn't just keep pretending. And her little outburst made him a little angry as well. "You don't think I don't know that? But do you really want me to keep pretending that we actually like each other!" Well, like like that was!

And then she shouted at everyone, and Cody shook his head. "You know what? I think it's best if I just leave. I'm sorry, okay? But you know this is the right thing to do. We can't just keep playing off each other. It's not healthy." Just like Torin had said. His mate was exactly right, he'd hurt someone in this whole process as well.

Nekoda's eyes widened, and she glanced at Orlando. He still seemed upset, but as of now, there were more pressing matters.

Savvy rolled her eyes,"You could have waited a DAY Cody, a DAY. Or..you could have broken up with me earlier."She said, running her fingers throug her hair, crying."You aren't sorry at all, Cody. I liked you. I really did."tehehe. Lies. It still was awful though, the whole getting dumped on your birthday thing.

Cody shook his head, "No, I couldn't. Because this isn't fair to either of us Savannah." Gr. Stupid dramatic person. "You know what? I've gotta go. And I am sorry." And just as he was about to leave, he heard her say she liked him. And Cody stopped, laughing at the hilarity of it. "Face it Savannah. You never did. As a friend maybe. But nothing more." And with that he was gone with a small pop.

Savvy frowned, feeling a tear slide down her cheek as he walked off. She crossed her arms and sat down with the big group of people where Nekoda, Aiden, Vanessa as well as everyone else was sitting.Pout.

Worst.Birthday.EVER.

Nekoda removed one arm from Orlando's, slipping it through Savannah's. "Hey, you okay Sav?" Stupid Cody. Now he had her worried about her best friend though. Damn, this had to be the worst birthday party ever planned. "I'm sorry this bombs. I say, for your half birthday, it's just you, and me. We'll go tanning!" Yey!

SAvvy snorted, "But we go tanning all the timeeee."she whined, running her fingers through her hair. Ugh, she hated this party. Worst.Party.Ever."I'm fine just...had an awful birthday. Nothing has gone right now."She cried, leaning her head against the chair.

Aiden's eyes flashed to Savannah and Cody as Sav yelled at everyone to shut up. Eh. Okay, not good. He couldn't exactly hear what they were saying, but it was pretty evident that Cody had just broken up with the girl. That was a crap birthday present, but he honestly couldn't blame Cody - everyone knew the relationship had no substance; it was merely a tool to make different people jealous, right? After excusing himself from the good company of Caitlyn, Scott, Trixie, Milo, and Vanessa, Aiden walked over to where Savannah was with Nekoda. "Hey Koda, you mind if I borrow Savvy for a little?"

SAvvy looked up, somewhat shocked to see Aiden there. "I don't think she will mind..."Savvy said, a shrug of her shoulders. Nekoda probably wanted alone time with Orlando and Savannah knew he wanted alone time Nekoda. She sighed, could this get any worse ? Probably. "Where do you want to go ? "she asked. Eh...knowing her luck he liked another girl.

Aiden nodded; Savannah knew her best friend so well that he trusted her answer for her. He turned back to Sav. "How about we apparate down to the bay?" He placed his hands in the pockets of his cargo shorts.

SAv raised an eyebrow, "But i'm not..."Oh,wait. She was of age. Today as her 17th birthday of course."Wait..neve rmind." She nodded her head, a bit nervous. Feeling a tight feeling as they apparated to the bay, Sav bit her lip. Ugh...she hated today. All she wanted to do right now was tan, tanning always killed stress. Savannah looked over and saw a tiny walk by the water, she walked over to it and ran her fingers through her hair, she was expecting the worst in all honesty."What's up ? What do you want to talk about ?"she asked, taking off her black pumps so she could get her feet wet in the water.

After apparating down by the water, Aiden immediately felt the ocean breeze blowing his hair away from his forehead. He loved that scent. When she asked about what he wanted to talk about, he shrugged slightly - Savvy was even more impatient than he was. "So, what happened with you and Cody?" Even though he had the inclination that it was probably a break-up.

Savannah let out a sigh, feeling the cool breeze on her face. She loved the ocean, she really did. "He still loves his ex..."She said, leaning her head back."And she wants him back."she said, a nod of her head. They were both using each other and Savannah knew it the whole time. "He broke up with me for his ex, or..well girlfriend."She said, another shrug.She was sure Nekoda was going to spend a whole lot of time yelling at Cody next time she saw him, he deserved it. Well, Sav knew if Aiden would have changed his mind while she was dating Cody she would have broken up with Cody in a heartbeat. It was different though, Cody did it...more meaner.

Aiden saw that one coming. "Well, are you upset that you're not with him anymore?" He was kind of getting the impression that maybe Savannah did like Cody. So, it was best to make sure. He slipped off his brown flip flops and let the thin film of water flow over his feet.

Savannah looked up at the sky, squinting. The sun was seriously bright. Where were her sunglasses when she needed them ?"I..."she started, now biting her lip. Was she supposed to tell the full truth ? Well, the truth wouldn't hurt,hopefully ."A little bit. I'm upset over him breaking up with me, at my birthday party, on my birthday."She said, another shrug."But, Cody and I had the same problems, you know...the whole not being over you ex thing."She winced."Not only did I date him as a distraction but also in hopes of making you jealous.."she said.

Eeeep. She was going to get screamed at now, she could feel it.

Vanessa smiled at Aiden. "I'm great actually. Really happy it's summer." She said nodding. Then she heard someone crying and saw Savannah. She was going to go over there but decided not to because of the huge crowd surrounding her.

Hayley walked onto the dock for the party. Orlando had invited her..well she thought and she knew her cousin would be here as well. She waved to Vanessa as she passed by and looked around for Orlando. She finally saw him and a big smile planted on her face. She walked over to him and gave him a hug. "Oh my goodness, I haven't seen you in forever!" She said pulling back from the hug.

A smile grew on Orlandos face as he heard a super familiar voice, it was Hayley ! Orlando picked her off the ground, laughing. Jeez, she was light."Hey you ! how have you been ?"He asked, smiling down at her. She was just as pretty if not that prettier than before. They dated, breifly. Orlando still had feelings for Hayley of course. He looked over at Nekoda and bit his lip, she wouldn't be happy about Hayley.

Hayley laughed as he picked her off of the ground. "I've been fantastic actually, how have you been?" She said taking a look at him and smirking. "Hmm, you've gotten quite handsome over the year." She winked at him and laughed. This was Hayley Moon. She was going to be straightforward with you, so be ready.

Nekoda smiled when Aiden came about and stole Savannah from their little group. This was good right? This was something Sav wanted! Maybe Cody didn't completely screw up. Koda turned to speak to Orlando, when she noticed he was up, spinning some girl around happily.

What. The. Hell!?

And then this girl said he'd gotten handsome over the last year? Oh jeez. This was the girl Sav had told Nekoda about? Hayley. As in, Orlando's ex girlfriend. Standing, Nekoda adjusted her skirt, and now SHE was feeling out of her element, in a very un-Nekoda-ish fashion.

Awkwaarrrd. She even considers just leaving. Why turture herself watching him flirt?

Aiden nodded. He was glad that she was being honest about everything. He ran his fingers through his brown hair and he walked over to where Savannah was standing with her back to him. He grinned and placed his hands on her waist, then turned her to face him. "Happy birthday, Savvy." He moved his face closer to Savannah's before his lips finally met hers.

....? Not mad ? He wasn't mad or yelling at her ? What was THIS ? EEEEEEEEP. And there it was, the moment Savvy had been waiting for since like...forever. A kiss and a pretty damn good one at that. She kissed him back, of course, wrapping her arms around his neck. The kiss went on for a few moments and then Sav pulled back ,smiling."Uhm...you changed your mind I see ?"She said.

How was it possible that worst birthday ever could turn into the best birthday ever ?

"That's goooood."he said, still grinning at her. He was just happy that she was able to come. Perhaps her father got rid of that evil girlfriend ? That had to be it."And I've been gooood."he said, still smiling. Oh jeez, he was so happy. A blush then rised on his face as she spoke,"Erm...thanks ? You look prettier as well, not that you didn't before you just erm..."ugh. Girls made him so nervous, especially pretty girls like Hayley. He never understood WHY she dated him.

Orlando then turned to Nekoda, still with a blush on his face. Oh boy, she looked mad, really mad. This wasn't good, Nekoda wans't exactly nice when she got mad."Uhm..Hayley, you know Nekoda right ?"he said, pulling Hayley toward Nekoda. A weak smile was on his face.
