Ever since then, her life was based and surrounded around Hogwarts. Holly is quite the spontaneous girl. She is very sweet, kind, and loves to make new friends. Her love life hasn't been that great because she always psyched herself out when she was dating a boy she liked, so she would break up with them. Which doesn't really matter to her anymore. However she does have her eye on one boy...or maybe five boys....hehhh. Other than that her grades are quite good, around average and the strange thing is...she hates to read. Hah. Her favorite all-time holiday is Christmas and she is stoked for the Secret Santa.

People really needed to stop chucking food around because all this sugar was not good for the already hyperactive seventeen year old. "Slightly messy" Ryan answered Connors question with a slight smirk, well it was true, this place was getting trashed and...
OH MY GOSH was that what he thought it was?
Nununununu must. Resist. Sugary. Substances. But luckily his attention was distracted when he noticed Conner choking and Lizzie looking like she was panicking. But.. He was allergic to Caramel, he was SURE he'd seen him eat it before.. OH! Then it clicked, he was getting back at Lizzie now? Instead of informing her, he decided to play along with it.
"LIZZIE. What did you do? He's DYING" he claimed dramatically, whilst clinging to his throat and stopping himself from laughing. He took a step forward and looked down at Conner, hiding his face from Lizzie before mouthing 'Nice One' down at his mate.

She walked over to him and picked up a napkin to wipe some of it off his face. "Oh my god Connor," she said, feeling her hands start to shake a little. He was wheezing and would stop breathing if she didn't get him to the Hospital Wing...
"Everyone STOP!" she cried, looking at the people around her. They food flinging needed to quit right now... She felt herself growing more panicky. "He needs the nurse. Now!"
Errr...what to do?! She took her wand out and tried to focus....she didn't want to mess up. Liz couldn't keep her wand still. She looked at Ryan. "Can you help me?" she asked.

Heheh, yes! Lizzie was totally buying this. Connor kept on with the wheezing crap, then even added a bit of convulsing in there just for kicks. And Ryan was perfect! He could not have a better best mate, the 'dying' bit was so choice. He would've shot the guy a quick smirk, but he didn't want to risk Lizzie seeing it.
But.. whoa. Lizzie was getting really worried now. And calling for the nurse, too? Gahh, he gave her enough of a payback; he better quit the act now. And so it all came to a stop. The wheezing, the wide eyes, the convulsing. "Heh.." He gave a small smile. "Gotcha, Hoover."

Holly then was shocked as Connor threw gingerbread pieces at her! "How dare you!" She yelled, wiping off the gingerbread off of herself. Then she looked back down under the table, accidentally hitting her head, and slightly smiling at Ryan. "Oh come on, it's a food fight, this is practically your heaven. So dine in!" She said looking up to see Connor wheezing. Her eyes widened but then she saw Ryan slip something to Connor about 'nice one' and she just crossed her arms as she saw Lizzie panicking. She grabbed two pink-frosted donuts and threw one at Connor's face and another one at Ryan's face. "That really isn't funny, you two." She said, her face scrunched up. However, she had a feeling that Lizzie was going to get even more revenge on them.

Oh, she was gonna be ticked.
Well...Ryan obviously wasn't helping and it didn't seem like Connor was getting any better so that only made her freak out more! What to do, what to do?! Then all of a sudden everything stopped. It was a joke?! WHAT SORT OF PERSON DOES THAT?! Oh right. The stupid, mental ones. "Hah, real funny Cohen," she said, giving him a deathly glare. She was mad. Not more than mad! She was furious.
"Jerk," she stated before slapping him. That's right...SHE SLAPPED HIM. Right across the face. She turned around and stalked out of the Great Hall, not even really caring if she finished with her gingerbread house. She fumed with embarrassment and anger.
And no amount of 'I'm sorry' was going to make her forgive him.

His heaven? Well Holly certainly got that one right.
"Yes but.. Sugar" he stated simply not expanding on his point at all. It was a disaster waiting to come. Anyway, he was out from under the table wasn't he?
The look on Lizzie's face was PRICELESS. It was a shame he couldn't drag it out for longer though, Ryan certainly would have, but that was just his personality wasn't it? He smirked at his mate, holding in the chuckles that were certainly going to come soon. But before he could move forward, he felt something smack straight into his face.
NOMMY!
Someone had just chucked a doughnut at him. Ryan looked up to see Holly with her face scrunched up. "Nah it really was funny.. And thanks for that" he licked his lips and then continued eating the rest of the doughnut. Ahhhhhh.. It tasted so good.
And then Conner got slapped.. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! That was just HILARIOUS to him. The seventeen year old couldn't help but laugh out loud as he watched the events unfold and then Lizzie storming out.

"Oh, come on, Holly.." Connor said, looking to the girl. It was just a joke, right? It was all good.. No harm done. Was something there between Holly and Ryan? Anyway.. He shrugged at Ryan. "Thanks for playin' along, mate."
Well, he was right.. Lizzie was nottt a happy camper - to say the least. This girl was livid, actually. And that's about when she slapped him. Nice, clean smack across the side of his face. "It was a joke; I wasn't trying--" But he cut himself off there as she swiftly turned and started for the doors of the Great Hall. "Wait!.. Hoover!" Ughh. He sighed and went to sift his fingers though his hair, only to remember that it was covered with all sorts of sugary stuff. How come he was only getting a bit of revenge on her, like usual, and yet he was feeling all guilty and all?
He stood up and pulled his wand from his pocket, pointing it at himself. "Scourgify," he spoke, and he was all clean again. That felt much better. And a whole lot less sticky. "Well.. I'm off to apologize."
Connor followed out of the Great Hall, and fortunately he got out there just in time to see Liz rounding the corner at the top of the stairs. He hustled up the steps, taking two at a time so he wouldn't lose her. "Hey.. Lizzie!" For once, he actually used her first name. He took her forearm to get her to stop walking. "Look, I'm sorry about the allergy thing."

He had officially made her hate him. Why did he think it was funny to pretend about that? Having an allergic reaction was a serious thing and could be fatal. She just didn't understand what he was thinking when he decided to joke about that. She just wanted to go off somewhere where she could be alone. And read. Right now she was too angry to cry, but she almost felt the need to. She made her way through students to the moving staircase that led to the Ravenclaw common room and dorms.
The whole 'gingerbread house building' was stupid. She hoped to never had to build another one again. Before she was able to reach the top of the stairs, she heard a voice and turned. Wow what a surprise. She just ignored it and continued to walk until she felt him pull on her arm. Lizzie turned again and yanked her arm free from him. Then he apologized? Hah too late for that. "Apology not accepted," she glared, turning around once more and continuing to the tower.

Connor knew she would be like this. He thought about just turning around right then and going back to the Great Hall. Why should he even care? They weren't even friends. They didn't even like each other! Yet he persisted anyway. "I was only getting back at you! You know.. it's not like we don't do this sort of stuff to each other all the time." He frowned when she pulled away and continued on up the steps.
"Come on.. I'm serious." He doubled up the stairs and stood in front of her so that she had to come to a stop. "I'm really sorry for taking it that far."

Blah, blah, blah....yeah she didn't want to hear it. She just rolled her eyes and continued walking. He didn't really mean it so why keep trying? Then he was in front of her and she stopped walking so she didn't crash into him. "It wasn't funny! And I've never pretended to almost die!" Lizzie yelled crossly, balling up her fists as she said it. That was more serious then any of the stuff she had ever done to him!
"You just don't understand..." she muttered, shaking her head and stepping around him. Couldn't he get the hint she didn't want to talk to him? Ughh...boys. The young woman continued to make her way to her common room.

Hmh. Connor actually wouldn't have minded if she had collided right into him, but she didn't. At least he had gotten her to stop heading up the darn staircase. "Well, so what? I didn't think you'd get so concerned!" He said, then thought about those words for a split second. So that meant that she did care about him at least a tiny bit.. Then again, he probably just made her absolutely hate him now. Girls were just way too complex.
"Don't understand what?" He questioned, his feet tapping up the steps to catch up when she resolved to swerve around him. "Guys do that to their mates and they don't get all bent out of shape." Connor now did the same thing as before, and upped his pace to slide in front of her. This girl needed to stop rushing off away from this and just listen for a minute!
"Elizabeth Hoover, I am apologizing to you." He waited. That was big for him, 'kay? Apologies were not his strong point. "Really," he added somewhat quietly, as he lingered a bit close to her.
How terribly angry was Orabelle freaking out about the stickiness clinging to her clothes? The answer was very. Her carefully crafted outfit, unlike that gingerbread house that exploded, was ruined. And that juice wasn't good enough revenge. It would take forever to think of something to about something to fix her outfit. And the headmistress just had to leave! HELLO. There was something called a fashion crisis going on!! Ugh, stupid old bat.
"The headmistress definitely needs to stop this! What happened to the rule that food fights were banned?" she exclaimed. And her hair felt all sticky already. Oh dear Merlin, someone save her. She picked up a handful of candies and tossed them lightly at Holly, and showering whoever was around her. But honestly, she needed to change out of these sticky clothes asap. She watched as Connor faked his death.
Honestly she found it quite funny... but perhaps this wasn't the best time to mention it? Mmm... didn't seem like it, still, Orabelle couldn't help but crack a smile at this sick and twisted joke. Heh. "Wasn't that amusing," she muttered quietly under her breath as she watched Elizabeth storm out of there and Connor followed her. Ah, those two secretly liked each other or something, it was quite obvious. Yet she didn't get why they just didn't admit it. All of this chaos had made her forget about her sticky clothes and she sighed. Stupid soda.

Wouldn't any normal being get concerned if they were caught in a life and death situation? Ehhh..then again he wasn't really 'normal'. To her at least. "Of course I was concerned!" she exclaimed in frustration. "Why wouldn't I be? I didn't want you to die and realize I had done it," Elizabeth added, frowning and rolling her eyes. It didn't really bother her that she was showing she cared. She wasn't a self-centered person, even when it came to enemies and their life.
She shook her head. "Just forget I even said that." It didn't matter that much anyway, plus she didn't feel like giving him an explanation. Ughh..he was in front of her AGAIN! He just needed to leave her alone. "I'm not a guy Connor Cohen!" she yelled angrily. Of course his friends would laugh. She had seen them do dumb stuff like that before. It was upsetting they could even joke around in that manner.
Another apology? Lizzie watched as he got closer to her and she started to feel uncomfortable. She averted her eyes from his for a second and then looked back at him. "I don't believe you," she whispered coldly, and once again, stepped around him.

Holly watched Lizzie slap Connor on the face and storm out with Connor following her. She just rolled her eyes and watched the lingering forms of Connor and Lizzie. "Psh, I feel like they are just going to go snog over this whole thing and come back with smiles on their faces." She stated with a laugh and turned towards Orabelle. "No worries, Orabelle. The food fight is over with anyways, so stop throwing candies in my hair." She said with a smile and tried to take out one of the candy out of her hair. "Can someone help me with this?" She asked trying to take a gingerbread piece out of her hair. Ewwww, sticky!

"Well, regardless, it was a joke," Connor emphasized. Obviously his sense of humor wasn't getting him very far with her. It never had, really. "And I didn't die, so." There. He wasn't allergic. He wasn't dead. He was kidding. And he believed it was safe to say that he had totally won that little battle as well. But he wouldn't mention that.
He rolled his eyes. What was up with this girl? "If you wanted me to forget it, you just shouldn't have said it," he murmured. Of course she wasn't a guy! He could see that. Why couldn't she just accept his apology and leave it?
Connor watched as her eyes left his, only to return a second later. But when she gave her final answer and moved again, he didn't stop her this time. "Fine." He looked for a moment as she climbed the last couple steps, then promptly turned his back and walked back down the stairs.
He really was no longer in the mood to go back to the Great Hall with all that gingerbread house building and all, but he felt that he better return anyway. After all, he made a big contribution for that candy mess down there, so he at least should clean it up. "That girl is completely incorrigible," he commented to no one in particular when he finally returned to the place he had been sitting. Connor looked down at his seat. Sheesh.. it really was a mess.

He turned to Ryan. "You thought it was funny, at least.. right?" Or maybe he was the only one...
"I don't care if it was a joke or not...it was upsetting and terrible," she argued with a frown. How could she have been sure he wasn't actually having an allergic reaction? She didn't keep a list of these things. "I...I didn't know," she stammered. It was bloody embarrassing of him to do that to her too. Make her look like a complete idiot in front of everyone.
Again, he didn't understand. "Now isn't a good time." He would never get it either cause she was now never going to even consider telling him... As she was walking she stopped where she was when he said 'fine'. It didn't matter. She looked to see him walking off. Good riddance. Lizzie walked ahead, but realized she wasn't in the mood to read anymore.
She headed off to the Astronomy Tower. When she reached it she opened up the door and jogged up the steps. The girl stopped halfway and sat down on one and covered her face with one of her hands as the tears finally came, and she cried. No one could see her here....
That night the Headmistress had a scavenger hunt planned for all the students. Everyone was gathered in the Great Hall, a piece of paper held in their hand listing all the things they had to find and once the Headmistress would give tell them to start they would be able to go and find the pieces they needed, come back to the Great Hall and whoever was first, second, and third would get a prize.
Note: This part is where the Secret Santa sabotagers, sabotage people's pieces of paper and switch them.
The Headmistress was in a very spiritual mood today so after the house elves had cleaned up the gigantic mess of the food fight earlier she decided that a scavenger hunt would be good for tonight and then tomorrow each of the students would go to Hogsmeade to buy their gifts.
"Students, in your hand is a piece of paper that lists the things that you will need to find tonight for your Christmas scavenger hunt. Once you are finished bring all of the things you need back to the Great Hall for me to check. If you are the first, second, or third place winners you will get an extraordinary prize. Now get into teams of two and wait for my answer to start." The Headmistress started, waiting for all of the students to sort into teams. She couldn't wait that long, so these students better hurry, so she could tell the rest of the rules about this scavenger hunt.
Holly was pretty excited for this Scavenger Hunt, she loved these things and it kind of made her feel like a little kid again. Okay, so she needed to find a partner? Uhm....hello? Like she was going to go ask someone to be her partner, she wouldn't even know whom to have as her partner. So the brunette stood there and kind of looked around, awkardly as all the other students started to get into their teams.

Zacharias thought that this little hunt would be very fun. Well sorta. He was a little tired but he would go through and find all of the things that he needed to get and he was going to win. Well he thought he was but you never know things to turn into someone else's favor and that would suck for him. Well he was ready to get what he wants and he didn't care how he got then. Smirk.

All Orabelle wanted for the prize was for the headmistress to excuse them from the ridiculous secret santa thing. She didn't even know what to get the darn person! Sighing, she tied up her long hair. Stupid bad hair days, she hated them. And apparently, they hated her too. First the secret santa, then the gingerbread houses... and now the headmistress wanted them to go on a freaking scavenger hunt?!
At this point she was really wishing she went to Beauxbatons instead. She watched as people around her started to pair up. Whoopdedoo. And now she was forced to stand alone too. The headmistress was insane.
