Ever since then, her life was based and surrounded around Hogwarts. Holly is quite the spontaneous girl. She is very sweet, kind, and loves to make new friends. Her love life hasn't been that great because she always psyched herself out when she was dating a boy she liked, so she would break up with them. Which doesn't really matter to her anymore. However she does have her eye on one boy...or maybe five boys....hehhh. Other than that her grades are quite good, around average and the strange thing is...she hates to read. Hah. Her favorite all-time holiday is Christmas and she is stoked for the Secret Santa.

Secret Santa? Heh. Connor Cohen had actually never done a secret Santa exchange before. That was where people basically exchanged gifts, but people didn't know who their gifts were from. Right? Too impatient to linger on the details of it all any longer, Cohen quickly unfolded his piece of parchment for the name. Heh. Okay, so he knew who she was, but the only problem was.. what would he get her? Girls were hell to shop for, and shopping for one he barely knew would only be worse.
Oh well! Slipping the small paper into his pocket he wandered over to a group of other misfits kids who didn't go home for the holidays. He knew a couple of the faces. "Hi guys," he greeted once he neared them. His hand reached up behind his head and rubbed the back of his neck. "Soo, this Secret Santa thing. It's.. festive, yeah?" He took a seat at the table. Oh, look - Ryan was here. "Aah, hey mate," Cohen grinned.
Isabella quietly listened to the headmistress. A Secret Santa? Ohhh sounds like fun. Once the headmistress had finished, Bella flipped over the piece of parchment. Err.....? How was she supposed buy something for someone she's barely met? Hmm maybe someone could give her some ideas? She looked around the Great Hall hoping to spot someone to talk to.
Isabella spotted Ryan, Orabelle and....Holly. Well it never hurts to ask, right? She stood from the Ravenclaw table and made her way towards them. "Hey. What are you getting for your person?" The question was for everyone but from the corner of her eye she was watching Holly. She couldn't help but feel slightly glad she hadn't got Zacharias. Bella looked around again. Of course the person she hates most had stayed for the holidays! Grr.

Shrug.
"Hmm, a tie?" She said thinking about it. How would she even make one of those? She couldn't even sew! Ugh, oh wait! Her eyes widened as Orabelle gave her the idea of a Gingerbread House. Now that would be fun, ....but would a guy even like it? Would her enemy even like it? "I'm just hoping the Headmistress will give us something to help us." She said, having a feeling the Headmistress was going to give them something that could help them.

Orabelle looked at the girl who just came, blanking on her name completely. However the girl did seem to know her, so just go with the flow, right? Of course. "Well, I'm probably going to get the person I got something Marc Jacobs or Tiffany," she said proudly. Because a girl's favorite present was diamonds right? "Uhm... I didn't catch your name?" Orabelle said, a bit embarrassed as her face flushed pink slightly.
Orabelle nodded at Holly. "Like a wish list?" Orabelle asked. She had no idea other than the stuff that she would want, and who knew about that girl's interests. Eh. No clue. She sighed. "However, if you do make a gingerbread house, I do request that you make two, that way, you know, I can try one," she said with a giggle. Her weakness was the sugar. Ahh...
She smiled at the other boy who came over. "Hello," she said, Merlin, why was it so hard to remember everyone's names today? "Yes, it is quite festive," Orabelle said agreeing with the boy. Ah, think think think!! Orabelle thought a bit more. "Uhm... It's Brian right?" she asked. Oh how mortifying would it be if she was wrong? Very. Still, it was better trying than to not try at all.

"So I'll assume you're in Slytherin?" she said, errr... obvious much? It was on his robes and not like they could really switch robes with people from another house. Right? Right.
Eh. He felt bad. He should've shaken her hand. Gah. The Slytherin rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. Way to make him feel guilty. And she was smiling at him and... *Sigh* Ryan smiled straight back at her. He wasn't rude at all, he was just a bit of a prat at times. Okay, a lot of the time.
Mr Bradstock? The seventeen year old snorted out loud. NO one had ever called him that, it was just funny. "No I'm a Gryffindor" he replied sarcastically. Ah JEEZ. He was doing it again. Stupid, obnoxious, prat. "Yeah I'm a Slytherin" he replied straight faced. Maybe he should try being nice to people, that way you got what you want right? After all, any of these people could have him as his secret santa. Bleeeeeeh. It was rubbish having no money. it wasn't even like he could ask his parents, or his mates.
SPOILER!!: Isabella

*Cough*
Maybe sugar wouldn't be such a good idea really.

"That's not funny, Mr. Elf." The brunette said, sighing.
Ryan could be so annoying at times, but eh, what else could she say? He was adorable. Adorably obnoxious.
*SNOOOOORT*
BAHAHA! The look on Hollie's face and her reaction was just brilliant. "Well I found it funny" he looked at her, trying to contain his laughs. "If you haven't noticed I am a Slytherin, so thank you very much" he smirked back at her. Yeah he was being annoying, but that was just Ryans nature. "Me? Switch with someone? I'm shocked you would even think that" the Seventeen year old mocked battering his eyelashes. As if butter wouldn't melt. Ryan was a complete and utter angel.
Not.
*Halo*
"I'm not kidding, I really can't think of what you could make him, I'm no good at thinking of what presents I want myself" he told her.

Blah Blah Blah.
There were so many girls talking about.. stuff.. around here. Surely he wasn't the ONLY guy that was sad enough to have been left behind like a total loser. True he was probably the only one without a home to get back to but still. He should have been listening, working out what he could get his secret santa person, but it just didn't interest him. His stomach did. The fact that his stomach was empty was fascinating!
Oh. That sounded like a guys voice. Yeah, thank goodness. Ryan looked up to see Connor stood before him. Now there was someone he didn't mind. And Ryan being totally oblivious to how annoyingly obnoxious he was, thought he liked him back. Yeah? Guys stuck together right? Because if these girls started going on about girly stuff, he was off. "Hey" he genuinely smiled back. "Please tell me I'm not the only one stuck with a girl to get a gift for?" he asked.

"Hey" he genuinely smiled back. "Please tell me I'm not the only one stuck with a girl to get a gift for?" he asked.
Connor smiled and nodded with the girl who agreed with him. "At least Hogwarts is attempting to make us feel loved." Secret Santa was a bang up job of doing that. Not that Connor minded staying at school, though. He thought it rather fun having the school so empty. You could get away with so much more.
She then addressed him as Brian. Was she talking to him? He glanced around for a second before figuring she must have. "Connor Cohen, actually. And you are Orabelle." It was a weird name, so he remembered hers pretty easily. Plus she was in his year. He tried to picture himself as Brian. Did he look like a Brian? It was odd how people could seemingly 'look like' Susans or Justins or Brians.
Phew. Well, at least Ryan was in the same boat as he was. Gifts for girls. "Nope, I've got one too," he deadpanned. And, so far, nothing was coming to mind. Chocolates? Naw, then girls would be all paranoid about gaining weight. What else did they like? Clothes? Eh. No way. Guessing girls' sizes was bound to lead to disaster. He tapped his fingers along the edge of the table. "Who did you get, Ryan?"
Holly watched as a girl came over to the table, oh it was Isabella. "Hey, your Isabella right?" She asked with a smile. She loved to make new friends and this girl seemed nice...or nervous? Uhmmm...........oh okay, another question. Okay good, just to get off that awkward silence. Yay....heh.
"Well I might make my person something, maybe a tie of sorts or something." She shrugged. She needed to think of other ideas, maybe the Headmistress will have a class of sorts to make each of their Secret Santas something. Haha, now that would be fun!

Isabella looked at Holly. "Yeah, that's me." She smiled slighlty. She wanted to make something...? o.O Bella blinked once before nodding. "I've always been into making things..I'm just reallyyyy bad at it." Bella ran a hand through her red hair. Well this was interesting...and awkward.
Bella looked at the guy coming towards them. He was in Gryffindor, right? Yep there was the lion on his robes. Isabella watched as he sat down and began talking. "Hello." She muttered before looking at Orabelle.
She let out a small giggle. "I'm Isabella Thorne." Marc Jacobs? Tiffany? "Aren't those muggle designers?" Grr! Why did her father try to act like a Muggle? It was so weird and annoying! He was always trying to get her to way those high end clothes.

Orabelle giggled at his sarcasm because really, when he said it that way, it did seem kind of stupid. Not that Gryffindors were stupid of course. She smiled and nodded. "Interesting, I haven't seen you around before," she admitted. Maybe it was just her? Probably, she had never really been very observant.

Giggling she nodded, "Though I can't say that a present or two makes the world go 'round," she shrugged. But it was nice receiving them... then proceeding in tearing them apart to see the gifts. Orabelle did love getting her presents. "Looking forward to getting your present?" she asked.
Her face turned the same color as a strawberry's when he said that his name was other than Brian. Oh dear. "I'm terribly sorry, I meant Connor," she stammered out. Eep. How embarrassing! "Yes, I am, I'm so sorry I got your name wrong," she apologized again. And what had she said? Completely mortifying!

Orabelle's mouth formed a small o. "Right, sorry," she said, blushing again. Seems like she couldn't get anyone's name correct today. "Yes, they are brilliant muggle designers," she said, her mind wandering as she thought about it all. All the beautiful clothes... and shoes... and bags.

Zacharias woke up and rubbed his eyes. He hadn't gotten to sleep until 3:00 am, and he knew that would turn out to avenge him throughout the day. Making his way over to the Great Hall he found some people.
One of them Isabella, his worst enemy, catch them two together and there would be some sort of food fight.
He sat down at the Hufflepuff table, hopefully someone will come talk to him, because he felt oddly chatty today.

Then again...she might look kind of strange doing that the entire time and shy, which she was not. shy. Oh so he was Ryan's friend. Probably obnoxious as well. Blahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
"Hi there, I'm Holly." She said with a smile and held out her hand for this Ryan's best mate guy to shake her hand. Psh, she wasn't going to be shy.

Holly shrugged once again. A wishlist? Hmm, well maybe the Headmistress will give them a wishlist to fill out and she would give them to their Secret Santa. Maybe, just maybe. Oh well, they would just have to find out later. As she listened to Orabelle she couldn't help but laugh, whole-heartedly. Then she covered her mouth with her hand and couldn't help but smile behind it. She took down her hand and shook her head, in amusement of herself.
"I'm sorry, Orabelle. That was really funny, but sure, if I do happen to make a Gingerbread House, I will make one for you as well. Luckily I won't have to cook though, like the muggles. I'm not good at that." She sighed.

"Well I found it funny." Holly mocked Ryan back and grabbed a candy cane off the table and started to unwrap it's plastic. She ignored whatever he said next but she knew it was true. He was a Slytherin and pretty darn proud of it, it seemed. Although, he could keep down his ego sometimes, it could get pretty annoying.
She watched him bat his eyelashes and she laughed. "Oh stop being such a girl." She smiled, big and batted her eyelashes back at him. "Whatever, you and your big ego could lead your big mind to evil plans, I just know it." She stated, biting off a piece of the candy cane and chewing it.
"Okay, well thanks for your help I guess." The brunette shrugged. What to get, what to get, what to get.

She let out a small giggle. "I'm Isabella Thorne." Marc Jacobs? Tiffany? "Aren't those muggle designers?" Grr! Why did her father try to act like a Muggle? It was so weird and annoying! He was always trying to get her to way those high end clothes.
The brunette tilted her head to the side. "Bad at making things? You've got to be kidding me!" She said, not trying to be rude, but it was not hard to make things. Especially home-made things, it was a lot of fun! "Well then, I'll help you make something for your Secret Santa if you're not going to buy yours something." She said with a smile. Yes, she would definitley be nice, especially when it came to making something.
SPOILER!!: Zacharias

He sat down at the Hufflepuff table, hopefully someone will come talk to him, because he felt oddly chatty today.
Holly was looking around as usual, off focus as she chewed upon the candy cane that was in her hand. She noticed Zacharias all alone at the Hufflepuff table and she stood up and walked over. "Hey, why don't you join us over at the table?" She asked, politely. Truthfully, she hadn't talked to Zacharias in over a month and she felt kind of awkward talking to him now. Then again she didn't even know why she stopped talking to him. Strange.
Liz sat at the Ravenclaw table listening to the Headmistress speak about stuff that she didn't exactly care about. She was actually kind of zoning out. Ugh last night she had been up for hours reading the next vampire book in the series she was obsessed with now. She had read the whole book in one night. It wasn't her fault the book was so incredibly amazing and that the vampire sounded so incredibly hot. Why wasn't there a boy around here like that? She sat up a little straighter when she heard the woman announce a Secret Santa thing. What?!
The pieces of parchment were distributed and she peeked at the name on hers. Hah. Great. This was seriously the best thing ever. Hmm... She started to wonder what a guy liked. She didn't have any brothers so how was she suppose to know. Then it struck her she could ask someone.
Lizzy got up and headed over to the little group gathered. "Hey Holly, Ryan," she smiled at both of them. Hah yeahhh she wasn't going to even look at Conner and Orabelle was soooo annoying. She didn't have many prejudices toward people, but when the girl started going on about how many zillion of galleons her daddy had then she just lost it. Liz knew her family wasn't particularly wealthy, especially since her mum worked two shifts at the hospital since her dad was off fighting.

Orabelle looked up and saw Zacharias. She smiled and waved at him but he was sitting kinda far. No one should be sitting alone, that would just be boring. Mmhmm.

"I'm sorry, Orabelle. That was really funny, but sure, if I do happen to make a Gingerbread House, I will make one for you as well. Luckily I won't have to cook though, like the muggles. I'm not good at that." She sighed.
Orabelle smiled, "No problem." She had no idea why Holly found it funny, but at least the girl was happy, right? Orabelle nodded, she had never really understood the concept of cooking. She reckoned that if she were to make anything... there would be quite a mess. "You can always tell a house elf to make it and lie," she offered. She wasn't very keen on the lying part but the house elf part she didn't really mind, as long as if the house elf was thanked that is.

Orabelle wrinkled her nose when she saw Elizabeth. Ewwwh. She rolled her eyes and ignored her, she had never really liked the girl, but mainly because the girl didn't like her for some weird unknown reason.

Orabelle's mouth formed a small o. "Right, sorry," she said, blushing again. Seems like she couldn't get anyone's name correct today. "Yes, they are brilliant muggle designers," she said, her mind wandering as she thought about it all. All the beautiful clothes... and shoes... and bags.
Isabella grinned. "It's quite alright." Her eyes flicked to Zacharias. Shoot! Bella watched the boy as he sat at the Hufflepuff table. Good. He didn't come over here. She focused back on Orabelle. "Yeah, I guess if your into all that fashion and stuff."

"Hi there, I'm Holly." She said with a smile and held out her hand for this Ryan's best mate guy to shake her hand. Psh, she wasn't going to be shy.

Although that probably wasn't gonna happen with this Secret Santa thing. "Oh yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to my present. It'll be interesting to what almost-strangers buy for each other." Unless one of his friends happened to have gotten his name.
He gave an low chuckle when she seemed to get a little embarrassed over forgetting his name. "Don't sweat it. Better Brian than 'hey you.'" And now Orabelle knew his name, so all was well.
When another girl greeted him, he nodded his head appropriately. "Hiya. What's up?" Hopefully she had heard him introduce himself as Connor because he didn't want to look like an idiot and do it again five seconds later.
But it seemed repetition couldn't be avoided. "Nice to meet you, Holly," he said, taking her hand and shaking it. "I'm Connor, if you didn't catch it before." Who knew Christmas break would lead him to meeting so many of his classmates. See? It had its perks.
And then she came. Liz, that is. She swiftly came over from her table and claimed a seat without a single reference towards himself. Or Orabelle. This wasn't surprising, though, seeing as he and Liz went waaay back as being sworn enemies. "What, no slam?" He asked the girl with an arched eyebrow. He smirked slightly and shook his head.
Bella looked at her fellow Ravenclaw. "Hello Lizzy." The two never really talked much but it never killed anyone to be nice, right?

Connor matched Liz's eye-roll. Although, as much as he outwardly appeared to despise Elizabeth Hoover, recently he had come to realize that he sort of actually looked forward to their little one v ones for some reason completely foreign to him. Not that he'd ever admit it anyway. They were enemies. "I'm crushed. Really, Hoover," he sneered. He made a 'pfft' noise with his mouth and took a swig of water. "Besides. Looks like you've failed at both." Seeing as she was both talking to him and looking at him.
"You guessed it, Zach," he said, turning to the newly-arrived Hufflepuff. "Presents and Secret Santas and Grinches." He sent a look Liz's way with his last word.
He shook his head and smiled at Holly. "Nah, it's easy to get distracted by all this talk of presents and secrets." And it was true. Presents and secrets were a very distracting combination in his opinion. "And it's nice to meet you as well." His eyes glanced around. Had anyone not read their slip of paper yet? Hmmm..
LOL. I was playing that earlier actually, but now I'm super sore. Haha!

Holly nodded in agreement. It sure was easy to get caught up in all of this. Super easy. She took another bite of her candy cane and smiled back at Connor after she had swallowed. "So, you seem like you could help me. What would you, a guy like yourself, like for the Secret Santa?" She asked, hoping he would give her something that could help her out.

Unless one of his friends happened to have gotten his name.

"Well...maybe you could ask a house elf to make one for you?" She asked, hoping she wouldn't be offended.
Orabelle nodded. "Of course, each one of them are pieces of art," she said. Needless to say, Orabelle was very passionate about clothes. Mmmhm. And she would die if her bags were ruined, or at least cry. She was a girl after all, what else would you expect?
Orabelle laughed and smiled back, nodding her head. "Who doesn't love presents? Just tearing them open, Merlin, it makes me feel like a child again," she giggled. Opening presents gave her that same feeling of bliss every time she went shopping or entering her favorite pastry shop in Paris. It was undeniable and she loved every little bit of it. "Yeah, it will be, won't it?" she giggled. She couldn't wait to see what she would get, expensive or not, it was a present and she was grateful for that.
"Well, I tried right?" she offered a bit feebly. Orabelle, in one word, was fail. "I would never call someone 'hey you', I find it a bit offensive for some reason," she shrugged. It just didn't seem quite proper calling someone that.
Orabelle let out another little giggle at his comment to Elizabeth. Honestly, she was surprised when Elizabeth hadn't said some crude remark directed at her.
She nodded, of course Holly didn't lie. Ah, well, it was worth a try. Orabelle shrugged. Hmm... "That's actually a pretty good idea, you know, take some times off of your hands and all," she said with a smile. Few things got on Orabelle's nerves, unless it was Elizabeth. Ugh. "I wonder if they'd let me decorat- that's probably going to be a bad idea," she said as she stopped herself. She would make it into a disaster, because well, because she was Orabelle Bianca Bellamonte and completely incapable of housework.

All the beautiful clothes... and shoes... and bags.

Oh thank goodness. He wasn't the only one stuck with a girl and no idea what to buy her. They liked... Bath stuff right? But seriously, he had absolutely no money to buy anything and he was no good at buying stuff. "Eh thats a secret aint it?" he tapped the side of his nose. Not that he really cared. He was so confused as to what to buy, it wouldn't really matter if he told anyone. But it was in the name, secret santa. "I'll tell you later" he lowered his voice and directed his eyes quickly towards one of the girls before flicking them back.
O__O
Was she giggling at him? Orabelle.. or whatever her name was. She found his sarcasm amusing? Well that was a first. The seventeen year old blinked right back, not saying anything at first. Err.. Heh. But the fact she hadn't seen him around surprised him. "I err.. Guess I don't go to the same places as you do" he told her, raising an eyebrow slightly. Yeah, she was probably always in the bathroom looking in the mirror whereas he would rather be risking it and attempting to climb the Whomping Willow. Only after sugar though. Lots of it. This was quite.. nice though. A proper conversation.
Woaaah WOAH! Was she.. mocking him? *STAAAAAARE* But..But no one mocked Ryan. He did the mocking HE DID! "Pfft..." Ryan turned his head away from Miss ICopyYou only to see..
CANDY CANES!!!1!!!11!!!ONE!!!
Why did no one tell him there was sugar on the table. Ryan grabbed A handful of candy and devoured it within a minute. WOO! That gave him a rush. Which was probably not a good thing.. AT ALL!
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
"I have no evil plans. There's not a single evil bone within this well refined body" he continued battering his eyelashes. A girl? "You calling me pretty then?" he smirked back at her.
Did someone just say his name? "HEY" he grinned back at.. whatsherface. Liz? Yeah that was it. He REALLY shouldn't have eaten those candy canes!

As Holly was mocking Ryan, a big smirk appeared on her face as he seemed annoyed by her mocking. Mwahahahahhahahahaa. Yes, today she was EVIL! Wow, a Hufflepuff girl being evil. Now that was new.
She watched as Ryan grabbed tons of the candy off the table and almost literally threw it into his mouth and ate it. Her jaw dropped in awe and she could help but slightly giggle. That was way too funny. Oh wait, no this part was even more funnier! "Well refined body?" Holly asked laughing some more. Okay....well maybe it was true....but she wouldn't let him know that. Then his next question caught her off guard and she started to stutter. Strange.
Holly looked down at the table as she finished off her candy cane and ran a hand through her dark brown, short hair. "I'm not sure if that's a compliment or an insult to girls, Mr. Bradstock." She stated, looking back up at him with narrow eyes.

Orabelle shrugged, "I suppose so, you don't seem like the person to hide out by the lake," she said with a little smile tugging at her lips. The Lake had to be one of her favorite places or the Flower Garden. Either way, she doubted that he ventured there. It was just a feeling. "So where've you been hiding out?" she asked.
"Holly, if I wanted to hurt myself, I'd toss myself off the Astronomy Tower," Orabelle sighed. Obviously she didn't want to get hurt, which was exactly the reason why she wasn't going to visit the house elves and ask for decorating skills. The only decorating skills she needed were that involving hair, clothes, rooms and parties.

Connor tilted his head to the side a bit and thought about Holly's question a moment. "Well, what would I personally like? Or what would guys in general like?" Because although the two categories probably overlapped, his own would be more specific. Then again, if she was directly asking him, did that mean she had drawn his name? Or was asking him for a friend perhaps? ...Or, maybe he was just reading into it all way too much. He tended to do that often.
"I personally would like.." He trailed off. What did he want? There really wasn't anything big. "I donno. I like cool trainers, but I wouldn't expect the person to pay for them. Or know my shoe size. Maybe some chocolate frogs or something?" He was always partial to chocolate frogs. "Guys in general would probably like Honeydukes crap because guys like to eat. Maybe some quidditch magazine, depending on the person you've got." He turned to Holly again, hoping that was somewhat helpful.
"Definitely - I feel the same way. I never understand how some people can open their presents so delicately, and then sometimes even go so far as to fold up the wrapping paper and keep it!" He laughed. Huh uh. Presents were meant to be torn open. The sound alone of torn wrapping paper was totally on the soundtrack to Christmas.
Connor smiled. "You did try, yes." 'Hey you' probably would be a pretty impolite way of getting someone's attention. Unfortunately, people did it anyway.
His eyebrows sank down against his eyes. Really? Ryan was gonna keep his Secret Santa thing secret from him? Pfft. Lame. Oh, wait.. aah. He'd tell him later. Connor gave a wink and nodded.
He looked back to the girls around the table. "So, I don't know what I should--" His words came to an abrupt halt. His eyes widened. Epiphany! "Ryan!" He suddenly grabbed the boy from the robes and shook him in his newfound enthusiasm. "I got it! I have a plan." *shifty*
Holly looked up to see Elizabeth, Liz and she gave a little wave. "Hey are you okay, Lizzy?" She asked concerned about her friend. She looked really tired but then again that was expected from Elizabeth Hoover, well so it seemed. Apparently there are rumours going around that she stays up every night studying and reading. Blagh. Holly hated reading. "Anyways, do you have any ideas for the Secret Santa?" She asked, curiously.

Lizzy looked at Holly and sort of started to yawn and quickly brought a hand to her mouth. "Just a little tired," she said in her yawn. Then she smiled and added, "The book I finished was so good!" she exclaimed, hoping that she would get to read the next one tonight. Too bad Holly didn't read or else she could talk about how hot vampires and werewolves were. She was missing out completely! Secret Santa? "Nope. That's why I came over here to see if you did," she explained. Actually to see if Ryan would help her....
Ugh...Conner Cohen was so dumb. That was all she could say really. They had been sworn enemies since second year. All she remembered was it was because something that probably really didn't matter anymore, but yet both were still upset about it. Almost the whole class knew they didn't get along. No matter what she wasn't going to let him know she cared a lot about him... he had his moments. "Oh I'm sure you are. Getting the silent treatment from me is awful," she went on, resisting the urge to roll her eyes again. This wasn't her fault! "Only because you made me," she argued, sounding like a little whiny girl again.
The giggle from Orabelle didn't help her at all. She had to herself under control or else she would seriously explode in her face. And it would be about time wouldn't it? She knew there were people out there who would agree with her.
Then there was Ryan who had apparently started stuffing his face with candy canes. Should someone be stopping him? She smiled at him once more. "Are you okay?" she asked, sort of concerned. What was there to be concerned about though? This was Ryan they were talking about.

Connor's green eyes returned to Liz, narrowing as they landed upon her. "Psht. As if. The day you give me the silent treatment, I'll throw my hands up and thank Merlin for being rid of you." Well, that was actually a lie. But it sounded like it was the truth. How come they hated one another again? As he took the final sip of his drink, he tried to recall what officially made them 'archenemies.' Surely it was her fault, though. Stupid Hoover girl. He gave an amused smirk when she claimed that 'he made her' talk/look at him. "Could have ignored it," he told her. "You could have given me this 'horrible' silent treatment."

"Hah I'm sure you will Cohen. Just six more months until you're free from me for good," she threw back. Six months? Oh Merlin. That was actually a really sad thing to think about. Six months before she graduated and moved on in her life, working at the Ministry. Yes, she knew she wanted to work there. Six months could still change her mind.
But she would really truly miss Conner Cohen giving her hell each and every day.
Darn it! He was right...she could have ignored it. "I can't just let those things go by without a come back!" she exclaimed. Not ever. Anyway, back to the point of figuring out what to get her Secret Santa. She adjusted her skirt and looked back at Ryan who was still in a sugar high.
Please no. He was the only guy she felt like asking what her person. Her eyes widened and she sat there for a second, contemplating whether to speak to Conner about this. Ugh...finally she gave in.
"Listen....I can't believe I'm seriously asking you this, but is there anyway you can give me some advice on what to get for my person?" she asked him. She had no brothers once again, so she was so helplessly lost already. And she was suppose to be smart! "I'll do anything you want," she added, hoping to bribe him into helping her. She looked at him as innocently and as sweetly as she could.
