~Voldemort won the war~
Voldemort has won the Second Wizarding War, soon after he gathered all the dangerous Order Members and had them compete in a game to the death. Among them were Nevile, Molly, Arthur, Ginny, Luna, and many others. Ginny ended up wining after her parents sacrificed themselves for her. After this Voldemort seperated the wizarding world from the muggle worl entierly, he then seperated the Wizarding World into 8 districts. When it comes to speaking to his citizens though he has Daniel Drake handle that.
So that none of the citizens get ideas about rebellion, Voldemort created the Voldemort's Games. Each year a male and female child (11-17) is picked to fight in the Voldemort Games. The Voldemort Games are exactly like what the Order Members had to do. When the games start Voldemort says May the odds be ever in your favor and Daniel says Winning means fame and fortune and losing means certain death.
Magic is binded while in the games...no wands...no anything...
(Voldemort and Daniel can choose a favorite compettator)

Ah, wallowing in self-pity. Such a luxurious habit, Pax had almost forgotten what it felt like. It lasted all of a few seconds. Then he realised that he was in the ruins of a legendary castle, awaiting his doom. Things could get worse, and they certainly would if he showed the other tributes any more of his usually hidden weak side. Pax stood up, rubbing his shoulder again, smiling at Matthias and Celeste. "Don't worry, I'm not usually that insane," he said jokingly. That was actually up for debate. He turned away from the Peacekeeper, trying to control the urge to throw a big sharp rock at him, and caught two other competitors looking at him. He looked away, but his adapted hunter's ears caught their remarks. Yeah, you shouldn't like me. In fact, you should probably keep well away from me. Pax could play this game, if that was what these people wanted.
He saw the guy from 6 watching the girl from 1, saw his scowl. An idea bloomed in his head. "Hey!" he called, motioning to the boy to come over to their group. The more the merrier, and this guy looked like a survivor.

Matthias laughed at Pax's comment. "Oh, so you aren't usually that insane? Somehow I don't believe that," he teased, just now trying to press down his hair and straighten himself up in any way he could. From what he knew of the Games, though, he would have a prep team and whatnot before the Games, so his current state was rather irrelevant. Still, it bothered Matthias to bear any resemblance to Daniel Drake. He looked around the area that must have been the old courtyard at Hogwarts, trying to find something that would show them when things would be moving along--or at least what time it was. One thing he did catch was Jason and Celeste whispering to each other. Slightly unsettling, but at least they seemed to be on the same page with him and Pax on forming some sort of alliance, so Matthias didn't do anything about it. Instead, he went along with Pax to try to win over the District 6 guy. "
Yeah, hey, why don't you join us?" he called out with a hopefully inviting smile.
Nastya turned around to the girl she nearly bumped into. Why did she look like she was smirking? She nearly bumped into her and if someone had don the same she would definitley not be smirking. "Err. Why are you smirking?"]
"You wouldn't understand." Oh, the glory of infuriating people like that! One of her greatest joys in life. And she was good at it too. Then again, many, many years of training. And there had been a lot of people to learn from along the way. Her smirk grew wider, even though she was about to be killed.

He observed that already alliances were being formed. Well he wasn't sure whether or not he wanted an alliance, but there was no harm in giving it some sort of a go.
He approached the person nearest to him, and looked at her from behind. She was the female tribute from District One. The original followers of Voldemort. He scowled. It was heavily presumed that Voldemort was the reason for his family's death, leading to his sole life in the woods. He deeply resented Voldemort- and District One. However, he didn't resent the girl. At least, not yet.
"Are you scowling at me or your imaginary friend?" Alyssa asked, raising a long, thin eyebrow, with a little smile on her bright lips. "Well, I s'pose we're all scowling because we're most likely going to get killed. You're small. You've got a good chance." Best to be a little friendly, even if she didn't want allies. She wasn't scowling though. And Alyssa was suck a giant, she didn't have a chance. At least she was strong, even if she looked a bit weak.

Finn looked at the guy- he was from District 8. The rebel district.
He drifted towards him, noticing how different they looked. This boy was blonde, tanned, muscular, with blue-green eyes. He was strong looking, whereas Finn was smaller and quite pale with black hair and eyes and was fit- but not muscly.
However Finn could feel the boy looking at him in the same way all the other tributes looked at him- with a suspicion that made him uneasy. As if they expected him to have a trick up his sleeve- but he had nothing.
No, Finn had only two skills. One was survival in the wilderness; and the other was hand on hand combat. He needed at least both or he wouldn't stand a chance. He didn't have the precision for bows and arrows or knives.
Finn felt a weak, but existing connection with this boy, and he decided to hang on to it. "I'm Finn," he said, "District Six."

Small? Alright, Finn wasn't the tallest of guys, or as burly and muscular as some of the others, but he was fit and tall enough. He gave her a strange look. "Better save the cattiness and remarks for the arena." He said equally, but with a small grin. "For now, we might as well make the most of the outside world while we're in it. He didn't expect to come back, but someone had to, and he was prepared to try as hard as he could to insure it would be him.

Celeste looked at Finn, he wasnt that big, but she could tell he could fight and survive, she said Nice to meet you Finn, Im Celeste District 8.
She looked over at the window where she saw Daniel Drake looking out at them.
Evvie stood along the side of the room watching the other people socializing with each other. She kept a close eye on the District Eight people because they were from the rebellion district. Maybe they were rebels themselves. Evvie debated for a while then left her perch against the wall and began to walk towards the girl tribute. "Hi. I'm Evvie," she said politely to the girl as she took in the girls appearance. She looked like she could be a rebel.
Daniel Drake stood at the window, and said Is it time yet? He looked down at the tributes, his eyes fell on Pax Darcy, he liked the way he looked. He watched as the boy ran up the wall and was threw down by the Peacekeeper. He decided Pax Darcy would be on his watch list. Then his eyes switched to look at Celeste Waters, he smirked she looked innocent...The innocent were always the ones who killed the most...
Iris looked at the group..She walked over to the girl who introduced herself as Celeste, Im Irisell Flowers, but you can call me Iris. Im from District 6! She looked at the others and gave a smile...
Jason glanced up to where Daniel Drake was perched. Jason got a sickly feeling in his stomach, when Drake's eyes glared into his own blue ones. Jason just wanted this over, and the fact that Drake was just letting the tributes wait, was torture.
He finally pulled away from Drake's gaze, and turned back to Celeste. "When does this start?" He asked impatiently. He just wanted to get back to his sister. When she was born, he had made a promise to himself, that he would keep her safe from their parents. To him, this was breaking this promise. He couldn't bear to think what would happen to her if he died in the Games.

Matthias gagged when he looked up and saw Daniel Drake himself standing behind a window of a newly build building amidst the ruins. This man was seriously the most sadistic person Matthias had ever had the displeasure of making eye contact with, let alone standing near. Even his voice bothered Matthias. Thankfully he wasn't being laughed at by him again, like he was back in the District after the reaping, but he still saw the general contempt in Drake's eyes, almost certainly to say 'You're lower than me, deal with it!'.
At least Matthias wasn't the only one who hated Drake, by the looks of how Jason was looking back up at the man. Walking over towards him, Matthias could just overhear what he was saying to Celeste. "I don't think anyone knows exactly when the Games will start. At least, not one of us. For all we know, this right now could be this year's Games. I see weapons," he said, gesturing to the rocks, "but I'm not about to start killing people. Yet. I will if I have to." His voice had lowered as he spoke, becoming more of a whisper. He wasn't sure why, but it was probably best not to let many other people in on your thoughts. Thankfully only Jason and Celeste had heard him.

Finn could see that Daniel Drake was looking in his direction. However, it wasn't at him, but at his potential ally. Finn glared up at him. So here he was again- Voldemort's lapdog. One of the reason's Finn had had to raise himself in a pitiful existence. Finn could feel the hate in his own eyes as they glared at Drake.
But Finn, being from District Six, was clever. And despite the fact he wanted to leap up at Drake and drag him in to the arena with them, he clenched his fists. However, Finn's hunter instincts throbbed in his veins. He had stones in his pockets- he always did, in case he decided to make a fire- but they would be taken from him soon enough. So he took one out, a small jagged one and with a flick of his wrist, hurled it across the ruins where it hit one wall, and fell to the ground. Finn stared at the wall for a moment and suddenly, a crack formed where the rock had hit it, and gradually it split in two, collapsing somewhere in the middle.
He looked down at his hands in shock. He hadn't expected that to happen. He faced up at Daniel Drake again, with contempt in his eyes, and his hands shaking with anguish, as if to say, "I wish that was you."

Jason turned toward him, and just glared. He wasn't in the mood to start killing people, but he was sure, Matthias was the first one he'd go for. And it wasn't just because he was the closest person. When Matthias mentioned the rock weapons, Jason started figuring out the best way to take each one down. It wasn't that difficult either. But he was sure Drake wouldn't like it if all his precious tributes were gone before things got started. So, instead, Jason resorted to leaning back against the wall, hoping things would get going.

Matthias simply raised an eyebrow at Jason's look. It was an 'I'm going to kill you as soon as I can' look. And, frankly, it amused Matthias very much. He decided it was time to leave the kid alone, though, when he sidled away from the small group and leant on the wall. So, to make himself feel less vulnerable, Matthias moved back over by Pax and lay down on the ground, staring at the clouds.
"You wouldn't understand." Oh, the glory of infuriating people like that! One of her greatest joys in life. And she was good at it too. Then again, many, many years of training. And there had been a lot of people to learn from along the way. Her smirk grew wider, even though she was about to be killed.
Really? She raised her eyebrows. Somehow she couldn't believe that was one bit true! The district one girl seemed to enjoy making people annoyed and she did a good job at it too. "Yes, I wouldn't understand it because you haven't told me yet!" People these days didn't tell her anything which certainly made her quite annoyed.
Small? Alright, Finn wasn't the tallest of guys, or as burly and muscular as some of the others, but he was fit and tall enough. He gave her a strange look. "Well, compared to me, you're ickle. And that's a compliment. I'll be dead after a few minutes, you've got a chance," Alyssa said with a little smile forming on her face. The kid was...amusing, that was for sure. "I have nothing to live for, nothing to say goodbye to. I'm better off dead," she replied, sadly, with tears filling her eyes. No, the little kid was NOT going to see her cry. She blinked, furiously. Better off dead.

"You know that I mean you wouldn't understand if I told you!" Breathe. Ahh. Did that make any sense whatsoever? Nahh. And she didn't want to embarass herself by saying the reason. But it was all the same. Alyssa turned away, as if to say 'Done talking!'.

Finn shrugged. He wasn't the kind to make others feel better, he wasn't used to people. "You're a Career." He said, "at least you're trained."
He looked at her, with a raised eyebrow. "Don't say that." He said, putting his hands firmly on her shoulders. "I have nothing- no family, no home, not even someone to miss me. But I do have something to live for- and that's life itself." He shook his head. "Throw away your chances if you want- Honestly, they'll all be delighted, you being a Career. Or you can listen to me, and prove yourself. This isn't a game, and we're not their pawns. We can prove it, and you can too."

Wah? What did that mean? She liked the annoyance of this girl which was somewhat weird. As the girl walked away to the other stockier boy she had something to say. It was a really odd thing to say especially to someone like her but atleast it would keep her alive for a bit. "Allies?" She offered quietly so the District 6 boy wouldn't hear.
Rude! That was Evvie's only thought when the district eight girl ignored her and began talking to some other girl. Maybe district eight wasn't so great after all. It didn't matter though, Evvie wasn't giving up. "Hi Celeste, she exclaimed in a cheerful voice. "Evvie, district 3,". Evvie held out her hand to the girl. Maybe the girl would hear her this time.

Celeste smiled and bit her lip she knew that saying District 3 is it nice there? was a bad idea, who was she kidding! She said So your a rebel? Thats pretty cool, have you tried telling them Voldemort is not that scary hes just got a wand...

"I know I'm trained, but I am NOT going to join the Careers in their little group. We'll all kill each other eventually," Alyssa shrugged. She never payed any attention in that training, anyway. Never thought she'd be picked with everyone in District 1. There was hardly any chance at all. But it turned out that that chance was bigger than she'd expected.
She had to blink back her tears again, making up for her wet eyes with a fierce look. She was a Career, much as she didn't want to be. "I s'pose," Alyssa said, quietly. He had a point. "But just reminding you, this is a game, and we have no choice but to be their pawns." It was a fact, and by winning, it wouldn't prove anything. She wanted to point that out too, but didn't because he'd probably think her even more stupid. "We can try." Maybe they could.

Allies? Well, that was out of the blue. Just 'cause she was trained, didn't give her much advantage, and she was never the best student during training. Alyssa raised an eyebrow, but smiled all the same. "Sure." It seemed better than sticking with the Careers group, which she never wanted to do anyway. She missed the firm grasp on her beautiful wand, which lay abandoned, never to be seen by her again.

"So do you have any strengths like can you use an axe?" She asked. She herself was terrible with an axe or a knife, she preferred bow and arrows, blowguns or even snares, though she wasn't an expert on them. She now kind of regretted forming an alliance with the girl but it could actually keep her alive since she stood no chance on winning.

She wanted to point that out too, but didn't because he'd probably think her even more stupid. "We can try." Maybe they could.
Finn shrugged again. "I see you as a Career. They see as you a Career. The rest of Panem see you as a Career- you are a Career. If you get the chance to be in their group, you might as well take it. I know plenty of people would -literally- kill to. I know you're a stereotype- but you're a lucky one."
So far he had no allies, but still, Finn was apprehensive about trusting strangers with his life.
She could do magic. Although that wouldn't help anymore. "I can sort-of throw knives," Alyssa said, timidly, although she was probably better than sort-of, "and I'm alright with a bow and arrow." She was best with knives though. "And I can fight with knives too." She was quite strong and tall, always had been, and that could be an advantage or a disadvantage.

"People would kill for anything," she said bitterly, scowling. Literally, anything. "They see me as a career, so what? I am a career...so what?" Uggh, why was this kid so great at making his point? Alyssa liked him a little bit, though, it was weird. She didn't want to be the one to kill him. If they both got to the end, which was extremely unlikely in her case, she'd kill herself. He deserved to win more than her. But that wouldn't happen anyway.
