~Voldemort won the war~
Voldemort has won the Second Wizarding War, soon after he gathered all the dangerous Order Members and had them compete in a game to the death. Among them were Nevile, Molly, Arthur, Ginny, Luna, and many others. Ginny ended up wining after her parents sacrificed themselves for her. After this Voldemort seperated the wizarding world from the muggle worl entierly, he then seperated the Wizarding World into 8 districts. When it comes to speaking to his citizens though he has Daniel Drake handle that.
So that none of the citizens get ideas about rebellion, Voldemort created the Voldemort's Games. Each year a male and female child (11-17) is picked to fight in the Voldemort Games. The Voldemort Games are exactly like what the Order Members had to do. When the games start Voldemort says May the odds be ever in your favor and Daniel says Winning means fame and fortune and losing means certain death.
Magic is binded while in the games...no wands...no anything...
(Voldemort and Daniel can choose a favorite compettator)

Celeste looked at the boy and said Nice to meet you, Matthias. I'm from District 8. Looking down at the boys apperance I asked What happened to you!? I mean he only had one shoe, his tie was just sitting around his neck, his hair was um messy, and he looked like he just got attacked. Well at least he wasnt like one of those children who were happy they got reaped.
"I..." Matthias looked down at himself, slightly ashamed. "I ran out of time. I woke up a bit too late this morning and barely made it to the reaping on time. That would have been bad, especially with the Death Eater Peacekeepers." He walked a little bit away, pacing and kicking stones around. It was hard for him to believe that this site had once housed a castle of magical education. For all it was worth, he didn't even have a wand anymore. Which reminded him. "Hey, do you still have a wand?"

Celeste asked Really, your Peacekeepers dont wake you at dawn and make you walk down to the stage and wait for Daniel to get there? Ours do, this time we had to wait forever, especially since were the last district! She said Um, yes I do actually, I guess the Peacekeepers forgot to take it up, Im sure they'll take it before the games though. Did you want to borrow it. Taking it from her purse she held it out to him, she would have to make sure she got it back though...

So, this is Hogwarts?
Rain was surprised to see it nowadays. All of his family went to Hogwarts. They belong to the House of Lion, Gryffindor. He wanted to got to Hogwarts but.. it was messed up now.
He noticed that so many tributes there, but he didn't know them all. Rain also didn't see the girl who was from District 7 too. Maybe he was the youngest than all of them, but he didn't scared. He waited for the Games!

Matthias blushed a little at her question, a bit embarrassed of how things typically went in District Three. "No, our peacekeepers don't do that at all. We in District Three are pretty compliant with Voldemort's orders, mostly out of fear," he said, sighing a little, "I wish I could say I was above being terrified of Voldemort, but watching him murder my dad before my eyes had held me back from rising completely above my lingering fears." Before he knew it, he was being handed a wand. "Oh, no, I don't have any use for it. I was just wondering, because Drake took my wand the second I set foot on the stage and snapped it over his knee," he added bitterly, gently pushing the wand back toward its owner. Besides, he didn't have any use for it anyway. The only spells he knew were the ones that his mom had taught him that were useful around the household. From what he knew of the past District Three tributes, he wasn't going to be home again, anyway...

Pax had been silent all the time the others were talking. He wasn't usually this complacent, but he wanted out of this ruined castle now. He didn't have a chance here. Not even his own dad thought he'd get back alive. He gripped the amulet around his neck. What would his mum have thought? Would she have been proud? Angry? Scared? Or would she have been like Leilani, trying to psych him for what was to come?
Suddenly, Pax took a run at the lowest-looking ruined wall, which was still a good 5 or 6 metres high. His feet and hands found holds, and he skimmed up the wall like a gecko. Unfortunately for him, there was already someone there awaiting his arrival. A Peacekeeper/guard/whatever they called them here slashed his wand at Pax, blowing him off the wall and back down onto the stone. Pax bit back a scream as his left shoulder hit the floor first and pain jolted through it. He pulled himself up, holding his injured shoulder and staring up at the guard person with hate flashing in his turquoise eyes. "I'm not done yet!" he shouted, gearing himself up for another leap at the wall.

Pax was nothing if not persistent.
As Matthias was trying to enjoy his slightly tense conversation with Celeste, he saw something over her shoulder. A boy, blonde, decided to just run at one of the ruined walls. And then climb it. Watching him be blown back was predictable, but Matthias still didn't like seeing it. He ran over to the boy, who was unfazed, and stood between him and the wall. "Hey! Don't get yourself killed before the games. You seem like the type who could actually win this." Completely ignoring the other boy's angry fight stance--and the fact that the other boy's eyes were trained on the cackling peacekeeper on the wall, not Matthias himself--Matthias stuck out a hand to him. "I'm Matthias Johnson, District 3. And I don't want to be here any more than you do."

Celeste covered her mouth and said I'm so sorry about your father. She knew Voldemort killed many people but in front of children, she thought that was just wrong.Putting her wand back into her pocket, she asked Snapped it into two? She didnt want her wand to be snapped into two. She looked over at Pax who was litteraly blown away by one of the deatheater peacekeeper things...She laughed and though, typical Pax, always trying to do something and then sassing towards the deatheater people...

Without moving his extended hand, Matthias looked back over at Celeste, who apparently was from the same district as this rather angsty boy in front of him. "Yeah, snapped in two. He looked extremely proud of himself when he did it, too. I don't mind, I never really used it anyway," he said, giving a small smile and looking back and forth between Celeste and the other boy. The boy was still angry at that peacekeeper, apparently, and hadn't taken his eyes off of the maliciously laughing man for at least five minutes. That wasn't entirely Matthias' business, but this guy seemed like the kind of person to ally with in the arena.

Celeste looked over at Pax, he was really angry at the peacekeepers. She thought about pushing Pax away from the wall or getting between the wall and Pax, though she didnt she stayed next to Matthias. This was a bit akward as Pax was still in his fighting stance.

Pax tore his eyes away from the laughing Peacekeeper, his wary eyes moving from the boy, Matthias, and Celeste and back again. Slowly he relaxed into a less aggressive pose, and shook Matthias' hand. "Pax Darcy, District 8. And if you really don't want to be here as much as me, you'd be climbing the walls too." He smiled resignedly, rubbing his injured shoulder. "I don't know about winning," he said. "But I do want to get home." He bit his lip for a moment as the image of his dad's face crossed his mind. "See my dad again. And my stepmother, half siblings. Maybe not my stepbrother," he added with a small laugh. Pax was starting to relax a little bit, getting back into his usually high-spirited mood. "At least I've kind of trained for this," he mused. "Fighting Hekili all the time really pays off in the long run, I suppose." He grinned at the other two. "You two ready to put on a show?"

Jason saw a group of kids talking together and thought it would be best to make some friends. He couldn't get very far on his own. He knew that. He walked up to one of the boys, hands in his pockets, and an expressionless face. "Hey. Jason Jackson. District 4." The way he said that, might come off as rude, but Jason wasn't big on meeting new people. He was used to being off to himself. But he knew he needed someone to count on, at least for the first couple days of the games.
He wasn't nervous at all. He never really cared what others thought of him, so meeting new people wasn't hard for him. And he figured out he didn't have to like them. Everyone loved him, and most of them never really cared what he thought. As long as they were standing next to him, they were happy.

Matthias laughed at Pax's greeting. "Oh, so you've trained? I, as you can probably see--" he gestured down at himself "--am unprepared. I bet you'd make it home far before I did. The odds are definitely in your favor, I can tell. Me on the other hand?" he said, shaking his head and looking around a bit. The air seemed more relaxed than Matthias had always thought it would be for the tributes before the Games. I guess everyone just accepts it. he thought, turning around at the sound of another new voice. Immediately he stuck a hand to the boy who had just joined them. "Matthias Johnson, District 3," he greeted. With a quick smile and a small nod along with the handshake, Matthias took a step back and looked at the other three that were grouped with him. "So, what do you all say to being allies in the Arena, at least for as long as it lasts?" Someone had to say it.

Pax really wanted to agree with Celeste and say 'yep, Hekili was no match for me!' but he couldn't lie like that. "Most, not all of them," he admitted, pulling up his sleeve to reveal an angry red scar on his left arm, running from his shoulder to his elbow.
He nodded at Matthias' suggestion to be allies. "Sure," he said, with an almost imperceptible glance at Celeste. Could he kill her if he needed to? Probably not. As long as he didn't get too friendly with Matthias or Jason, he was find with them. But Celeste? He hoped that if she died in the arena, it would be by accident, natural disaster or hand of another opponent - not him.
The thing was, Pax was just naturally friendly. He knew and liked some of the more relaxed Peacekeepers in his district, and they in return offered him favours - like not killing him for hunting in the woods. If he could make friends with Peacekeepers, then would be be able to resist liking these people? These people he might have to murder?
As though trying to distract himself from these uncomfortable thoughts, Pax's mind turned back to the wall. He casually stepped to the side, getting Matthias, Celeste and Jason out of his way, then ran up and climbed again. It wasn't until he was at the top that his brain registered the pain in his left shoulder. He balanced on the top, holding his shoulder, trying to stop the pain showing. The Peacekeeper wasn't as happy to see him this time. He hit Pax across the face, sending him flying back down onto the ground near the others' feet. The Peacekeeper then turned his wand on him, and Pax screamed as pain hit him from every side. He'd been tortured once by the Head Peacekeeper for the time they caught him hunting, but this was worse.
The Peacekeeper stopped after a minute - he was laughing too hard to continue. But Pax didn't move. He curled up on the stone, feeling utterly helpless. Escape seemed impossible; winning, even more so. How was he going to get out of here?

Jason shook the boys hand, and nodded at the others. "It's nice to meet you." he was still unsure of what the other boys name was, but he wasn't quite sure he wanted to know. Climbing a wall? He knew everyone wanted to get out, but this was a bit extreme. Jason wasn't really sure he wanted to be allies with this strange boy. But he was willing to do anything to win.
"Is he really supposed to be doing that?" he whispered to Celeste. And are you sure you can trust him? Jason thought to himself. Then again, who could you trust in a game like this?
Matthias sighed a little when Pax ran up the wall again, ending up looking oblivious to the peacekeeper that was imposing his presence before the boy. Even within just a few minutes of meeting Pax, Matthias felt like he knew him well enough to assume that he did that type of thing all the time. The cruiciatus curse seemed like a bit much, though. Matthias ran over and knelt beside Pax's curled form, gently shaking his shoulder. "Hey, you alright? They can't kill you before the Games, I'm pretty sure it's illegal to. Come on, try to get up?" he said rather quietly, his voice steady and not showing any worry. Positivity always helped someone who was hurt feel better. Looking up for a moment, Matthias gestured to Celeste and Jason to come over to where they were. It took all his willpower not to glare back at the laughing peacekeeper, though.

"Is he really supposed to be doing that?" he whispered to Celeste. And are you sure you can trust him? Jason thought to himself. Then again, who could you trust in a game like this?

Celeste laughed, Pax didnt want to take her complimant, but at least he told the truth that was good, most would have agreed with someone if they said that. She felt Pax's eyes on her, he must have been thinking, the same thing she was, she couldnt kill Pax the others sure but Pax it wasnt a thought she ever wanted to think about...She scootted back seeing that his eyes were towards the wall...
Celeste looked over at Pax who was just thrown off the wall by the Unforgivablle spell. She rushed over realizing that he was really hurt and said If they do theyll make it look like they were killed in the games, we are just pawns to them, that can be killed when were not usefull...Pax are you okay? She had remembered that this happened to him already, for hunting in areas they werent supposed to go, but she still wanted to make sure he was okay..
Celeste whisppered back to Jason The peacekeepers or Pax, the peacekeepers can do anything as long as its okay with Voldemort and if Pax no not really...

Right, now they were all making allies. She had sharp hearing. Somehow, Alyssa felt left out as she stood moodily over away from everybody else. She could go to the District 7 tribute, but there was really no point. They'd kill each other in the end and someone from Disrict 1 and 7 could never get along, let alone become allies. 7 was home of the rebels. The kid looked one of the youngest, while she was most definetely the oldest, and probably most favoured by the Dark Lord, but that wouldn't help her anymore. Daniel Drake had power too. But Alyssa wasn't the one they were most obviously trying to finish off to show their power over the Tribute's home. District 1 were not rebels, never had been and never would be. Maybe it would be best to become allies with someone, though...
She was unhappy to be picked. Thats how she felt she. There wasn't even a little smile on her face. She had no one to talk to so she was extremely bored just walking around not knowing where she was going. Untill she nearly bumped into a girl about as tall as her. She looked okay but she sensed she was from District 1 with the darker clothes. As soon as she saw the girl she moved right away in the opposite direction so she wouldn't be mad or anything. She did look a bit... nevermind.
She stood there, unimpressed. Couldn't the games just start so someone could kill Alyssa, instead of her standing there, bored. It wasn't like she had anything tolive for. No friends, family, or anyone. She probably would've volunteered, kind-hearted as it sounded, for somebody who did have something to live for as what did she have to do lazing around at home? And she really wanted to hex the Tributes from 7 and 8, but they'd taken her wand away, as soon as her name was pulled out.
What was that? Alyssa's dark eyes narrowed, dangerously at the District 5 girl, before smirking slightly. Scared, was she?

The other girl from his district-- Nastya wasn’t that her name?-- cried all the way during the train trip. He was tearing up inside too, but for some reason his tear ducts wont cooperate and he stayed sullen all the way till they got to the station. Never having left District 5 he found himself oddly distracted by even the most trivial things in this new city-- until he saw the ruins of an old castle.
This was Hogwarts? Both his mom and dad went to Hogwarts, and as they whispered stories during the time when they fought Voldemort and his Death Eaters Olexei’s mind was filled with incredible thoughts of valiant battles and heroes.
His brow furrowed and turned his face away from the ruins, his grand imaginations crushed by the reality that lay around him. There was nothing to be proud about this place now, to him it was a bitter reminder of the failure that has cursed them to the life they now live.
He sat himself at the shadows of a pillar, not far from the group of tributes who began socializing with each other. He pondered if he should do the same thing, and was torn because he didn’t really want to get too close to those he may eventually have to kill-- or be killed by them. His eyes then shifted to the boy who was stubbornly scampering up the wall just to be hurt time and time again. What did the others call him? Pax? What the boy was doing didnt make sense to him, unless he was trying to get himself killed before the games, and by the looks of those Peacekeepers he probably just might.
Not that Olexei wished him ill, but a dead tribute this early on means there are fewer tributes that he has to worry about during the games.
Then Nastya came into view, approaching a rather haughty looking girl. The other girl looked like she can kill any of them right there and then “Nastya…” he called out suddenly before he realized he had opened his mouth.

Nastya looked around this place with a sign of boredom. Gee why couldn't they do something she wasn't into this whole friendly chat about. She prefered actually doing something other then talking because what if people were mean or... scary? She did not want to get into a fight at this time though it would be slightly fun because she was actually DOING something so it wouldn't be bad to get into a fight! That was good.
Nastya turned around to the girl she nearly bumped into. Why did she look like she was smirking? She nearly bumped into her and if someone had don the same she would definitley not be smirking. "Err. Why are you smirking?"

Hmmph. She didn't like waiting for answers especially when she felt like screaming at some people like Daniel Drake for example or the girl that smirked. She was always told not to get angry at people who make her upset but that never worked out for her.
She heard a deeper voice from behind her hoping it wasn't a District 8 person but it turned out to be someone else. It was Olexei. Great. Someone she kinda knew. Err yeah?

Olexei icy blues shifted between Nastya and the haughty girl and back again. He so wanted to stay in the shade and had half a mind to tell Nastya to come join him. But how would that look to the other tributes? That they were scared? Did he care really? The short answer is no. But Nastya, he didnt know if she would welcome being viewed as scared even if she wasnt.
Quelling a sigh he stood and walked towards Nastya and the other girl, cursing in his thoughts on the sun that shined on them so mercilessly. He looked at smirking haughtiness of the brunette girl for a split second. He realized that the reason he blurted out Nastya's name was to show that she wasnt alone, and perhaps to avoid getting her into trouble even before the game starts.
Which truthfully doesnt make any sense given the nature of the games, but Nastya was a girl from his district and Olexei felt a natural affinity for her in front of all these other tributes.
Looking at the redhead girl he uttered "How long do you reckon that guy's gonna last?" he angled his head at Pax. "You think him socializing with the Peacekeepers that way would improve the odds in his favor?" Or improve the odds for them?

She did not like the District 1 girl. Not because she was from District 1 and they seemed like snobs but she smirked. She smirked in a really odd way that she did not like. She also look discombobulated when she looked at people but she did seem a bit agathokakoligical but more on the evil side.
As Olexei talked she listened which was a bit strange due to the fact when people talked she would ignore them but this was probably the biggest moment in her life so far, so why not listen. She tilt her head around to look over to the blonde haired boy. "Hopefully not long." she wispered so Pax wouldn't hear. "Again hopefully not but I don't like him" she said in more of a deep, secretive voice.

Finn stayed quiet, standing a few feet away from the people that were nearest to him.
He watched everything.
That's what Finian Farrell did- it was how he survived. Watching from a distance, and improvising when things came too close.
He observed that already alliances were being formed. Well he wasn't sure whether or not he wanted an alliance, but there was no harm in giving it some sort of a go.
He approached the person nearest to him, and looked at her from behind. She was the female tribute from District One. The original followers of Voldemort. He scowled. It was heavily presumed that Voldemort was the reason for his family's death, leading to his sole life in the woods. He deeply resented Voldemort- and District One. However, he didn't resent the girl. At least, not yet.
