It is sometime in the summer of 2092 and Azura Snow, along with her friends Noelle Summers and Oliver Borzekowski-Thomas are throwing a Black and White Masquerade Ball at Azura's Grandparents Grand Manor in France. The Ballroom has been all set up and now the three friends are just waiting for people to arrive! Make sure you are on the guest list though, if you aren't... the barrier won't let you through!

"Hey, Azura!" Esme returned her friend's hug. "I hope that he feels better soon so that you can meet him properly." It made her sad that her boyfriend wasn't feeling well, but she knew that he was in good hands with her mom. She smiled at Azura, but noticed that Leon hadn't said hi. That was not impressive; if he wanted in her good books - which was VERY important - this was not the way to go about it. "Hey, Leon."
Esme's attention turned to her sister. Juno knew how worried she was about Olly. She hadn't wanted to leave him at all even though he would be okay. It just made her sad seeing him sick. He had wanted her to go and have a good time, so she would try her best to do just that. "You look gorgeous too! Aren't our boyfriends the luckiest guys ever to have us?" Okay, she was just being silly, but still they both looked absolutely amazing tonight.
More people arrived, and Esme was happy about that. The party was really going to start. "Hey, Mason, Jace and Mel! You all look great!" The other arrivals got greetings as well. "Hey, Henry and Noelle!" They were looking wonderful as well. |

Mel sent Noelle a wave as she came into the room – she looked fabulous. Looking around she grinned at the two-finger salute Cornelious sent her and with a flourish of her hand she sent him back a wave and grin…it wasn’t as refined or elegant as she had gone fore might have looked more like she was flailing but it was the thought that counted…not to mention he was distracted by Azura.
Wait wait wait…Henry and Char where there? Mel gave the hufflepuff a grin as he came into the room. Char, got a small nod in return. Her attention was returning to Tenacius again as she listened to his comment about being a basketball player? Whaaaaaaaaaat?
”pfft, nice one Tenacius” she grinned at him her eyes twinkling with laughter and mirth. ”I have to say this new-found height thing is kind of painful…I’m not sure I’ll be able to wear these shoes the entire night” she laughed and raised an eyebrow as he joked about stepping on her dress. ”My boss Alicia actually charmed my dress’ hem to change with me if I took my shoes off,” she added with a grin…that, and she’d tried to make her shoes the non-slip-variety that her family had always been keen on. ”Aw thank you, I feel pretty…” she grinned when she heard him explaining how Caroline had helped with his look.
Of course she had, she had probably jumped at the chance to dress a Schermerhorn-Astor in the attire of a masquerade ball. ”I think it looks a bit D’Artagnan-y come to think of it” she grinned and laughed at the mention of the sword. [b]”Maybe they’ll have little sword-like skewers in the food? It would be a shame to have D'Artagnan be without his sword. Pausing her approach Melbourne looked up when she Olly’s voice and sent the Slytherin boy a small nod. ”everyone here looks amazing,” she grinned and then she heard it. Esme’s voice.
”Esme! You look amazing, seriously,” Melbourne grinned at the older girl. She and her sister, merlin, they looked absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. Right.
She had to do what she had set out to do those moments before. Taking the last few steps she couldn’t help but laugh, ”I’m still shorter than you even in heels,” she grinned up at her friend before taking a steadying breath. ”Thank you, you know for saying I was a vision and all” she tried to play it off casually and carefully moved to give him a hug…well, it might have been more a kiss on the cheek with an attached I-don’t-know-what-I’m-doing hug.

Henry led Char a little further into the ballroom. It was already kind of fun trying to figure out who people were and seeing everyone dressed so nicely, but he supposed they'd figure it out better if they mingled a little more now that they were actually there.
But a voice greeting them made him turn his head and he gave the masked girl a small and casual wave. So.. who was that? He could tell she was blonde and female and.. well, that was about it. The voice he didn't recognize and he knew lots of blonde girls. Yeah, he was bad at this, but amused because it was kind of fun.
"I think someone thinks you're Noelle, though," he mentioned to Char quietly. Why, though? Pretty much everyone knew they were dating, right? And he and Noelle were just friends. But he figured that was part of the fun with these masquerade parties? People couldn't be completely sure who was who, but maybe he needed to make that correction.
"So, would you like to dance or do you want to get something to eat first?" He liked both options, plus either might give them a good vantage point for trying to figure people out. Of course, eating might give them opportunity for talking to people, giving better clues to who people were. His eyes rested on a boy and girl talking and he paused a moment, thinking. Maybe if he had known who was on the guest list..
